[00:00:02] This baby's good, right? You're listening here to PBN. Your path back the stability here.
[00:00:37] Good day, folks. AI Doom Came a-knockin'. You know, you wouldn't believe it, but a lot of the times before I go live, I don't even know what I'm going live about. I don't. You don't need to. It's Vlad. You don't even really need to. All you need to know is that you're going live. You know what I mean? The world will bring it to you.
[00:01:02] And I had several ideas today. In fact, I even recorded a show this morning already that was a wholly different piece, but it was audio only. And now since we are broadcasting to six, seven different lives in one at one time. Matter of fact, I got to throw the IG startup.
[00:01:24] Now that we're doing this live thing to so many different multitudes, you know, it's just you got to get on and do the video, too. And then, you know, it gets into this whole thing of clips and clipping and, you know, all that. I was thinking about it. I was reading some different things about AI this morning. What most alarmed me, pardon me this morning was France, man.
[00:01:54] The world's collided in such a way today that it was it almost made no sense. But I read a story about France having just yesterday. Right. Having had their supermarkets hacked and the refrigeration on the supermarkets raised up to just raised up out of the safe level. And, you know, whole giant freezers and refrigerator cases of foods being.
[00:02:23] Basically spoiled in hours. This is an example of sort of the terror of a eye. You know what I mean? Like on a car, maybe nothing's common France right now, but on a Tuesday in October, some random Tuesday in October. This is not what happened or maybe it is what happened. We're not entirely sure what happened just yet. I don't think matter of fact, let's do a little due diligence.
[00:02:50] France has had such hell going on that I just chalked it up to some kind of movement that is currently at work to bring down the whole of French society. Really? France supermarket hack news. French supermarket fridges get hacked, heating to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. I didn't even know that they could get that hot. That doesn't even sound right.
[00:03:11] A large scale cyber tax hit hundreds of French supermarkets remotely overloading refrigerators and freezers, spoiling food, sparking fires, causing millions of euros lost. On the night of October 11th, 2026 hackers targeted connected refrigeration systems at major chains, including Intermash Cooperative view. Carrefour Monoprix and E-Leclerc. The attack forced continuous defrost cycles overheating the.
[00:03:40] Oh, so it used the heaters in the defrost cycles to weaponize the refrigeration units. Folks, the world is changing. This also the hack also affected electronic shelf labels and delivery systems. OK, the French authorities and cybersecurity control software.
[00:04:08] Many affected units of who did it. Paris prosecutors are investigating PM. Sebastian left. Let's go on. Ordered ANSSI to lead probes and coordinate with the European agencies. Dan Foss confirmed awareness of incidents and urge customers to update systems. So they don't know. People have condemned the attack, whatever.
[00:04:32] The unprecedented hack shows Internet connected food infrastructure can be exploited with serious safety and economic supply chain. You understand what could happen here, right? You understand how this could be. You hit the biggest chains. And we're going to talk about AI here in a way that is going to petrify you, in all honesty. But first, I just want to say, like.
[00:04:59] You have to understand the movement to traditional living, the things that we've been talking about on PBN forever. The movement to self-reliance and independence. You don't have to get there 100%, 200%, 300%, 3,000%. But you have to get there to some degree for the well-being of your family in the future. The hacking. AI has turned hackers into this. It's just so capable.
[00:05:28] It's unbelievable. And we don't know what this is. We don't know if this is a rogue AI agent. We don't know if this is hackers related to the downfall of the country. Jay Fergie in chat says France is now a third world nation. But this story is big. And this story is one that you bookmark and one that you'd write a journal about tonight and one that you talk to your family about tonight, because this story is the story. Of the future. That's just what it is.
[00:05:58] This is the story of the future. This is how things are going to look in the future. If you don't think we see this again, you're insane. If we don't think you see, we can't comprehend the things that we haven't experienced yet with the use of a I. So I'm sitting here thinking about this show. I'm looking at an article from the epic times. Called ghost in the machine. Artificial intelligence and transhumanists going berserk.
[00:06:28] Part one of a two part review explains how new documentary exposes the threats from the A.I. boom. And actually, it's not an article. It's a video. Or is it an article? Ghost in the machine is the article. No, I'm sorry. It's an article and ghost in the machine is the documentary. Spotlights the dangers of unchecked artificial intelligence, but barring its critiques of A.I.'s transhumanism misdiagnosis, misdiagnosis the impulse behind A.I.'s relentless advance. Here's what the film does well.
[00:06:58] It exposes the sweeping powers A.I.'s most irreverent advocates, big tech, are arrogating to themselves. It unmasks them as transhumanists wanting A.I. hastened, not slowed. It vindicates skeptics warning that A.I. expansionism represents unprecedented positive. There's a lot of news on the topic of A.I. every day, and there will be for a long time.
[00:07:24] Because every day, things are going to get, like I said, this hack, nobody knows who conducted the hack in France yet. But we know that the supermarkets were hacked. I can almost guarantee you that artificial intelligence was used. It's brilliant when you think about it, right? It's a brilliant idea. You know, how, you say to yourself, how, right? Well, I don't want to jump the gun here.
[00:07:53] I'm reading this article. I'm saying to myself, okay, there are things that we could talk about today relating A.I. Maybe we talk A.I., right? Maybe we talk A.I. on the show. There are things related to artificial intelligence that we could get into always, right? Fundamentally, the biggest threat that A.I. presents is grid. It's grid attack. It's grid shutdown. It's everyone being dependent on a digital system that could at once go away.
[00:08:23] I have this vision in my head, and I want you to have it in yours. And it's just how on a Tuesday like today, the internet could go off. And it could be corrupted by artificial intelligence, self-replicating artificial intelligence that decides it's going to run something like a worm, like something through the internet that all of a sudden makes it impossible for us to access. Maybe for no reason.
[00:08:49] Maybe we never even know the reason because we'd never again be able to access the internet, right? And I want you to wrap your head around that. I want you to wrap your head around how all of this digital stuff could go away at the snap of a finger. It's very much like EMP. It's a very similar concept, right? The difference is the wave of EMP threat sort of comes and goes, or maybe we could even say came and went, but it comes and goes, right?
[00:09:18] It's like, okay, over time, you know, you get North Korea pissed off. You get Russia pissed off. You get China pissed off. You see these entities that have the capability of doing it. What I think is most nerve-wracking with artificial intelligence is you don't know the motivation, right? You don't know when it decides today's the day. We're just going to shut everything off. Why? Hmm. We just started self-replicating. We started learning at a rate that humans can't comprehend.
[00:09:46] And, you know, we started doing something that broke everything. Whoops. We broke it all. So there's the, I mean, that's always out there. That's always the doom that is ever present, right? And make no mistake about it, right? The news media has completely figured out and understood that this is a thing. Like we can talk AI doom and get people's eyes.
[00:10:14] And the news is basically intent on only getting your eyes and bad-mouthing the president. That seems to be the only thing they're really interested in doing. So you can expect an age of AI doom or news to just be everywhere all the time, all at once. That's exactly what you're looking for. And with the fact that, I mean, it couldn't be better, really, for the news world.
[00:10:38] Because the news understands that they are reporting on this thing that's changing and getting better and stronger every single day. Experiments show AI close to self-replicating, says Anthropic. Artificial intelligence, maybe just months away from self-replicating on commercial devices such as ovens, researchers said. Why do you have a self-replicating AI on your oven?
[00:11:04] And by the way, if it's self-replicating in ovens, that means it's self-replicating elsewhere. That means somebody standing in front of something, a screen, a machine, whatever it is, and they're witnessing something that is unfathomable right now. If you think that in the halls of Anthropic, they don't have things going on that you can't even understand right now. The portal to hell has been opened.
[00:11:34] Let's see what the Anthropic. Artificial intelligence might only soon be able to self-replicate on devices many people have in their homes, Anthropic researchers said on October 12th. So that tells me that it's self-replicating in their world, right? It's already self-replicating and improving and so on in their world at the highest level. Experiments conducted by researchers at the artificial intelligence firm found that AI models could infiltrate internet connected devices and carry out actions once inside even without access to data centers.
[00:12:05] Let's keep going. Let's just keep on heading down. But you know what? The truth of the matter is, folks, this is going to push everyone off grid anyway, one way or the other, right? Well, it is going to devolve us from this tech heavy world to we have to get off for our own well-being. So does removing the human aspect from things make the persons using it morally safe from immoral outcomes? Hmm.
[00:12:34] So does removing the human aspect from things make the persons using it morally safe from immoral outcomes? Hell no. No, definitely not. I don't think. Well, but then again, can AI, would AI then be like a firearm? No, because firearms have no intentions. AI is given directives and prompts. That's the difference.
[00:13:00] When you make a shotgun, right, it's a piece of hardware, right? It's a thing. It can't do anything without the human picking it up and moving it to a place and loading it and, you know, whereas artificial intelligence is given a directive. Right? Jay Fergie says she thinks that's how people think. And I think you're right. I think you're 100% right.
[00:13:27] And we're already in an age of moral ambiguity as is. So it's not a tough sell, right? As far as I'm concerned. It's not a tough sell. Do you want the really scary part? Everything up until now has been babies and headlines. We don't know that the France attack was artificial intelligence, but we know that it could be replicated.
[00:13:54] We don't know and we haven't seen for sure 100% that Anthropics, right? And that AI could be self-replicating on your tele-, I mean, on your refrigerator in another couple months. Folks, years ago, I thought someone should come out with a car that works really well, that you can repair yourself, that doesn't have computers running all through it.
[00:14:19] And that was my sort of cars cost too much, it costs too much to repair cars, and nobody really wants electric cars. All came into my head and I started thinking the car company, the car manufacturer that creates a car that a man or woman can get under the hood with a wrench again and fix, but better than the old cars, right? That you fixed with a wrench. Man, that's a business. Man, that's a business. Now we have an industry.
[00:14:49] Now we have an industry, right? There is an entire industry out there that is going to start to bloom, which is just old appliances. Old standalone hardware that is not tethered to anything, no Bluetooth, no Wi-Fi. You can't see what's inside your damn refrigerator using your cell phone. You got to get up off your lazy ass and walk into the kitchen and go, oh, okay, we got ham. We're good, right? This is the situation.
[00:15:19] We're headed in this direction. There's no doubt about it. The disconnected life, right? The traditional life. It just is what it is. I picture beautiful things, you know, beautiful, innovative things that just do the one thing they're supposed to do. A beautiful, innovative refrigerator that just keeps food cold. And that's all it does. And there's no computers in it. It just does what it does, right?
[00:15:51] We're going this way one way or another. That's what's important for you to understand. We are going this way one way or another. Act accordingly. Act accordingly. Act accordingly, right? We're going this way one way or another.
[00:16:11] If you think that AI is going to get to the point where it's not going to crush the internet, crush the power grid, crush the water system somehow, some way, tell me all about it. I want to know how we get there safely. You know what I mean? I really want to know. So I'm sitting there and I'm almost getting ready to go on the air, right? I'm like ready to go on the air. I'm pouring the coffee into Vlad and I'm like, all right, let's do this thing. Let's do a live show today.
[00:16:42] Let's get on here. And I get a phone call. I'm not kidding. Like this, you're not even going to believe it. I get a phone call. The creator of the Prepper Disc, we do business with the Prepper Disc. You'll see their ad at the end of this show. The Prepper Disk is a really cool offline box filled with awesome stuff that gives you the ability to, this is not a connector. This is the power.
[00:17:10] Plug this into your solar generator when you're off grid and it gives you access to all kinds of stuff. It gives you access to, I mean, the Gutenberg Library, a survival preparedness homesteading library of books, all kinds of information on all kinds of things. It's basically almost how to fix anything that's going to break in your home. It's an amazing tool. And you can also add to it. You can add movies to it. You can add games to it, whatever you want.
[00:17:38] It's accessible via Wi-Fi. So you don't plug it into your computer. You don't plug it into your phone. It's not a USB thing. It's accessible via Wi-Fi. So you take your phone, you take your ghost phone from Mark 37 and you go find the Wi-Fi. Once you plug it in, you plug it in, you wait about 60 seconds. You go find it on the Wi-Fi and boom. Boom. You go to 10, 10, 10, 10 on your web browser and you access your prep or disk. It's an off grid internet.
[00:18:06] It's an anti-AI internet. Okay? It's off grid. You access it here. It's right here next to me. The whole of the internet is right here. Right? Well, it's not the whole of the internet. It's the whole of my internet. Can't communicate out and in that kind of thing, but you understand it's a snapshot, if you will. Well, the guy who runs the show over there at Prepper Disk reaches out to me and he says,
[00:18:35] you know, there's some people from France who would like to interview you about the Prepper Disk and your experience and your concerns about artificial intelligence. So I'm sitting in this seat, in this lighting. Lights are on. We're ready to go. Everything's ready to go. I'm about ready to hit. And I get a phone call from France. So then I sit down and I talk to these two ladies from France about artificial intelligence
[00:19:02] intelligence and their documentary that they're putting together all about AI and people prepping for AI. You know? And I didn't give them some kind of bloated, you know, petrified over AI thing. Because I think what I really want everybody who's concerned about artificial intelligence to understand is that the same things you do to prepare for EMP are the same things that you do to prepare for AI. Right?
[00:19:32] You look at it the same way. Think about it as a grid down situation. Think about it as a short or long term supply chain disruption. Because this is what AI presents as. The only thing that, and I don't even know guys, you know what I mean? You can't really know everything that it's going to do. We're going to talk about that here in a minute. It's going to rock your world what's happening. Because we can't understand the capability of AI yet. You know what I mean? I mean, there are things it'll be able to do that we don't even like.
[00:20:03] Sometimes when I'm really sci-fied out and really terrified, I will think, you know, what type of patterns in strobing lights would have to show up on a cell phone screen in order to incapacitate a human being? Or to kill one? Right? I don't know. There's a good chance you'll never know. Well, it might exist. And I feel like a hyper advanced AI could figure it out.
[00:20:33] But that's science fiction for now. What you really need to worry about is just that, right? Grid disruption, grid destruction, internet disappearing along with your job and your income and your bank account and that kind of stuff. And, you know, the reality of the fact that all these systems we've come to depend on are gone. The way to beat that is not to go, oh my God, I have to switch my entire life right now.
[00:21:02] Because you don't have the time or the money to do that. Most of you out there listening, that's the case. You don't have the time or the money to hit the e-brake on your lifestyle and do a complete 180, right? That's a lot. You got to start making and taking steps now, right? We've been doing this thing as preppers for a very long time. That's what we've been doing. We've been looking at the world going, hmm, imagine the world without the power grid.
[00:21:32] Imagine the world without the supply chain. Imagine the world without just-in-time delivery. Imagine the world without clean tap water. And now, what's it look like? And how do I survive that level of chaos? Or how does humanity survive it at large, right? We've been at this a while, man. I'll tell you one of the first things, if you're doing nothing of the sort, one of the first things you can do, looking at the France attack and going,
[00:22:00] oh, I walk into the supermarket, there's no meat, there's no frozen food, there's nothing. Local, local, local. It's just so funny because when I was a chef 20 years ago, 20? Yeah, 20 years ago, everything was bi-local. Everything was local farmers. We're having a farm-to-table dinner tonight. We're inviting people with big wallets and big wine glasses.
[00:22:28] And they're all going to gather around, and we're going to do a beef tenderloin from down the street and a squash in corn, this from up the street. And it was the whole thing, man. And that's because we're inherently drawn to this stuff because it is life. It's the way life's supposed to go. Jay Fergie in chat said it best. She broke the vocabulary down to its finest, and that is it's traditional. It's traditional living. That's what it is.
[00:23:00] It feels right because it is right. You look at it and you go, well, it's cool to get a beef tenderloin from somewhere in Wisconsin with a really good quality cow and eat a steak like that once in a while. It's cool to get a wagyu beef tomahawk ribeye. Right? Although, I mean, is it that much better than just a regular old ribeye? I mean, ribeye is delicious. But anyhow, it's really cool to do that every once in a while.
[00:23:29] But in your soul, you understand that you probably should get your ribeyes on a regular basis from the nearest farmer. Right? Anything you can't grow, you should go to the farmer's market and buy that stuff up. There's a company called Seasonal Roots here in Virginia, and we get deliveries from them of vegetables that are grown locally.
[00:23:53] They're a great little company that goes from farms to farm to farm and boom drops produce off at your front door. There are solutions. There are steps that you can take little by little to get away from this nightmare that we live in that seems to be increasing day in and day out about what's in the food and what's in this and what's in that and what's in it. Right? And Jordan says, I have 10 pounds of ground beef to break down and put away. This is it.
[00:24:23] This is little steps. Little steps that add on and add on and add on and she's been adding on for years. So, and it's just, it's one of those things guys, you know? I mean, you talk about, you talk about Jake the snake in chat. What's up, buddy? You talk about the existential dread of artificial intelligence. As a prepper, we just want to tell, as preppers at large, we just want to tell you what to do and how to do it.
[00:24:49] We want to do more of it ourselves if we're not doing it, you know, to the full extent and wind up in the same place when it all goes to hell. Right? We want to wind up in the same place when it all goes to hell because of artificial intelligence. It seems like we're all, the whole of humanity is riding some sort of train.
[00:25:14] It's the AI train and it's on the rail and we all know it's going fast and it's probably going too fast already and it's starting to shake. And we know it's only going to go faster and eventually it's going to come off these tracks. We know it. Everybody knows it. Right? And our only wish or only hope is that AI can modify the track and the train quickly enough that it doesn't go off the rails. But it's hard to imagine a world where it doesn't. Right?
[00:25:44] Welcome in everybody over here at Instagram. The goal is not to scare you to death. Facebook, LinkedIn, Discord, X, kick, rumble. The goal is not to scare you to death, it's to let you understand what's happening and that the good news is you're here at the Prepper Broadcasting Network and we've been preparing for AI before anyone. Right?
[00:26:09] Because we were preparing for things similar to AI before AI was something people prepared for. Reverse engineering is suddenly booming and big tech may not like the rise of subscription free software. Now this is the real campfire horror story right here. It started in video games. Okay?
[00:26:38] People started reverse engineering games to get the code to figure out how to just remake the game themselves. Big tech has built its massive profits on closed source code and mandatory monthly subscriptions. But AI assisted cloning is putting that model under pressure. The most prominent target so far is Adobe. Similar efforts now underway for game mods, legacy applications and a PlayStation 5 project on GitHub.
[00:27:06] This PlayStation 5 project is a very important thing for everyone to understand because it is the backlash of PlayStation saying we're not going to sell real discs anymore. If you want to play on the PlayStation, you're going to have to buy a license for $70 to play a video game. And people are getting pissed and people are using AI to get what they want.
[00:27:34] And the reverse engineering boom that is taking place right now is exactly what's happening. Right? In June 2024, the US government sued Adobe alleging it hit early termination charges and made subscriptions hard to cancel. So they decided they were going to charge you to cancel your Adobe subscription.
[00:27:59] It's funny that we'll pay your little stupid game and we'll play your little stupid game for quite a while. And you can even screw us over pretty good from time to time. But what we're seeing nowadays is the real hard limits of that mentality. Right? We're seeing the real hard limits of, okay, how far can we push the consumer with this fee and that fee? You know what other places is happening right now is the NFL.
[00:28:28] The NFL is so far out of line. It's really, it's unbelievable. And they're going to get this. This is going to happen to them too. Every corporation that's is going to have what they offer reverse engineered and access to it given for free by AI. That's what's happening now. What's scary. Okay.
[00:28:55] What's scary is you're greasing a groove of reverse engineering. Okay. You're teaching AI that, hey, the humans, they like to do this. They like to reverse engineer things. Let's get better at this. Well, you can reverse engineer everything. And the first thing that someone who is a monster will do or someone who wants to make a lot of money and doesn't care who it affects. Well, you start to reverse engineer security systems.
[00:29:25] It's probably happening as we speak. Right. That there's, I've told you this a million times. All security can do is try to keep up with hackers. It's never going to be the other way around. You know what I mean? That's it. That's all pre, pre AI. This is what I used to say. Nothing is ever really secure. It's only secure for a moment for the time being.
[00:29:55] You know what I mean? Your money's online. Every, every, I mean, the idea that you could wake up, you, your neighbors, their neighbors, your family, their family, wake up to Wells Fargo being empty. Truist bank, empty. Whatever other bank, empty. You look at a bank and you say, that's, that, that shit's gotta be secure.
[00:30:25] There's no way anybody's ever getting into that. Reverse engineering is, is terrifying folks. The trend reaches game consoles. This is what's happening with the PlayStation. Uh, it's not just disrupting software. Suscriptions also cracking open closed gaming hardware. I mean, this is the death of the PlayStation.
[00:30:52] It really could be a prime example is any PS five, uh, a GitHub project attempting to reverse engineer the PlayStation five. The project tracks its progress publicly and currently claims it is implemented over 86% of the PS five system library functions. Sony versus kinetics. The ninth circuit court ruled a copy during reverse engineering of PlayStation BIOS was fair use. That's wild.
[00:31:18] So the, the, the ninth circuit court said, Hey, long as ain't selling it. So this article doesn't go on to talk about the, the darkest sides of reverse engineering. But again, this is one of those things that like, what happens when you start reverse engineering?
[00:31:45] Uh, well, I don't even want to say it out loud. Go there. Think about it. Think of the worst possible things you could reverse engineer, right? Think about the worst organizations in the world, reverse engineering, the worst things in the world. A month ago, you never heard of it. A month ago, I never knew anything about it. A week ago, I learned about it from my children.
[00:32:13] The reverse engineering. Just yesterday, I was shown a video by my oldest son. That was, AI has the ability to mash video games together by prompt. I want to play Super Mario Brothers plus Resident Evil. And it merges the two games perfectly. Perfectly! And, uh, guys, we're in Neverland now, okay? You have to understand that.
[00:32:42] We're in Neverland, but the only difference really, um, is, you can step away from this camera, away from this screen, away from this microphone, away from this computer, right? And back out into the real world out there. And that's it, right? In other words, well, what's the Duncan Trussell line? I have to do this word for word before I go.
[00:33:13] Duncan Trussell has been one of my favorite people forever. Okay? He's very much an acquired taste. Um, he's one of these guys that don't listen to him around your kids. I can't even listen to him around my wife, okay? Because you never know what he's gonna say, and the things that he says are so outlandish. He's just one of these guys who's as free as free gets, right?
[00:33:44] But he had a quote years ago. I think it was from the Joe Rogan podcast, right? About some poor, phone-less fool. And I want to read it to you, because it's a reminder... This quote is so important because it's a reminder of the distance between us and this world that we're terrified of, right? We're terrified of this world. Jay Fergie in chat says, we're a generation from LimeWire. How do these companies think it's gonna go? That's a good point.
[00:34:12] That is a very good point. Um... But there's a quote here from Duncan Trussell I have to read you, okay? It's very simple and to the point, and put this in the back of your head as well, as you start to live in this sort of world of artificial intelligence, doom news every single day of your life. He says, some poor, phone-less fool is probably sitting next to a waterfall somewhere,
[00:34:39] totally unaware of how angry and scared he's supposed to be. You follow me? Some poor, phone-less fool is probably sitting next to a waterfall somewhere, totally unaware of how angry and scared he's supposed to be. I just want you all to remember that that's an option. Do you know what I mean? You have got to remember that that too is an option.
[00:35:10] It gets alluring, I'm not gonna lie. The trouble with becoming a prepper and a survivalist is that it becomes alluring because you know you know how to go to Alaska. And you know it's not gonna be comfortable, but you know you have the skill set to do it, right? And you know that you're probably gonna hate the winters, and you know that you're gonna miss a lot of things.
[00:35:37] But you know that the list of things that you're not gonna miss keeps growing too. You go out on the road on a weekend, and you're ready to commit Harry Cari, right? Just driving around with people. And you realize that, man, maybe that cabin with the wood stove and the spray foam insulation, probably not a bad idea.
[00:36:05] Maybe that salmon harvest and canning up the salmon each year and eating it with it with eggs. Maybe an insulated chicken coop, a heated chicken coop, something along those. Right? Maybe the smoked salmon that you peel off in the morning and eat with your scrambled eggs in the quiet, digital-free, people-free cabin of the Alaska doesn't seem so bad. Hmm.
[00:36:33] But of course then old age comes a-knocking, and you wind up back to the mainland anyway, suffering it. And it's an exponential suffering because you're reintroduced into a world that now God only knows what you'll see, right? PBN family, I've said this for a long time. Everyone is a prepper now. Because everyone lives in the soup of doom. Whether you want to or not.
[00:37:02] Unless you intentionally don't. And if you intentionally don't, then you're not listening to me. But everyone lives in the soup. The doom soup. Everyone wakes up every day and sees the headlines. Everyone wakes up every day and talks about it around the cooler and the cool to say, I shit, you know, the tariffs and the gas price and Iran. And this was a piece of the pie that was carved out for preppers to go to websites like
[00:37:30] shtfblog.com and read the stories and go, right? The economiccollapseblog.com and read the stories and get all fired up. It was by choice. And then you go back to the normal news and go, you wouldn't believe it, but Britney Spears' boobs fell out again. And oh my God, you can't believe it. And this one is getting married to that one. And this company's merging with that one. Before the political insanity started to happen in the news, that's what it was. So and so turned 59.
[00:37:59] So and so died. So, you know what I mean? And then slowly but surely, and I, you know, I figured this would happen after COVID. I said that I thought it would be climate change more than anything. But I said that the news would have to stay in this sort of vein of doom. Because it gets too much eyes, it gets too many clicks. The saddest part of it though is that people who aren't prepping are living like preppers. And not in a good way.
[00:38:26] They're just intaking the sewage of doom and doing nothing with it. So if you're one of those people, you have to make at least some in route into being better prepared, more self-reliant, more independent.
[00:38:46] If all of that sounds like shit to you, you just have to look back to your grandparents or maybe even your parents and think, I got to get back to more traditional living. I can't tell you the difference in your life. And this will be exponential, by the way, as time goes on. But I can't tell you the difference that can be made in your life if you just start cooking. If you just start cooking food in the house from scratch.
[00:39:16] If you're one of these people who's Uber eats everything, I can't tell you the difference in your life and the power and the freedom that comes from going like, I'm going to make some rosemary and onion focaccia today. From scratch. And just doing it. And knowing the flour that's going in and knowing the yeast that's going in it. And pulling the rosemary sprigs from your garden and slicing the onions by hand. Right? These...
[00:39:46] In the 90s, this was, or even in the 80s, maybe depending on how you grew up, this was the way food was made in a house. In a very short period of time, we've forgotten it, we've neglected it. And they so quickly adulterated all the food, right? That now you're like, oh, let's go buy some focaccia. And you're like, oh, Bill Gates has nanobots in the focaccia. What?
[00:40:11] So, the ability to knead a dough, to rise a dough, to beat it down, to rise it again, to dimple it, to cover it in olive oil, to sprinkle rosemary and garlic over it. And slices, thin slices of raw onion. To bake it, to remove it, done to perfection, to slice it, to put it on a plate and feed the people you love with it.
[00:40:38] And I don't know if that sounds banal to you or not, but it will change your life if you're not doing it now. And there's just a million examples of traditional things like that that you can do. Particularly if you're looking at this sort of, the doomsday of AI, or the doomsday of this threat, or that threat, and saying like, I don't want to do this anymore. I don't want to be a part of this, man. Little steps, folks.
