Bringing on Aaron Keele. He's a former collegiate athlete with whose life was forever changed through an encounter with Jesus Christ. After walking through devastating loss of his mother, battling mental health struggles, addiction, and physical challenge, Aaron discovered that true freedom is found not through personal strength, but through surrendering to Christ. Amen to that, Aaron, it's a pleasure to have you on the show. I appreciate you having me on Cable. Absolutely. Yeah. So let's just get right into the nuts and bolts of this. You're from North Carolina and you are going to college. You are a baseball player. I don't begin to understand baseball. My son loves baseball, but to me, it's like this a long game, not a lot going on, no offense at all. Taking on that. I hope you know I'm joking a little bit, but you're doing that and obviously, you're in the prime of your life, You're very healthy physically, and God brings you low. Yeah, I mean it. I mean it started in high school. Really, I got into drugs and alcohol, trying to fill a void inside of my heart, trying to cover up a lot of anxiety, a lot of depression. My mom had cancer when I was in middle school. My dad had cancer when I was in middle school. My mom ended up passing away from cancer after she had got rediagnosed back. In high school, and I just. Always felt, you know, I got wasn't enough, and I was just trying to fill something inside of my heart, Sleeping around, trying all the drugs, drinking as much as possible, playing sports. I was a collegiate athlete, and nothing seemed to fill the void inside of my heart. Nothing seemed to satisfy me. And you know, I just came to my lowest point when my mom had passed away. I'd gotten kicked off the college baseball team for partying drinking, and I went to Coastal Carolina University, joining fraternity, thinking that that would really change and solve my problems, and it just let me down a deeper and deeper and darker and darker path, and October thirtieth of twenty twenty two, I hit my lowest point. And that was the day that I actually decided to give my life to Jesus Christ. I completely stopped drinking. I didn't know what it was going to look like, but I surrendered to Jesus and I said, I can't keep doing this alone. I can't keep going down the route. But I'm going down because it's destructive. I didn't really know if there was any purpose for my life in that moment. I didn't know if I was going to be able to come out of the hole that I dug. But I was giving my life to Christ and I was saying, God, if you can do it, then I trust you with my life because I've tried it my own way and my way is not working. So what exactly did that look like? You know? Was it a conversation with someone, I mean near at college? Did you walk by a booth where people are handing out tracks? Did you stumble your way into a church service? Give us the details on that. Yeah, So, I mean I grew up in church. My mom her heart was for more people to come to know Christ. She was always sharing verses and devotionals with me. I just never really it never really resonated with me. It never clicked. I didn't really know what to think or what to believe. I was just on a pursuit to get black out drunk pretty much as much as possible, and I thought that was my purpose in life. And you know, on October thirty of twenty twenty two, Halloween weekend, October thirty first was like on the weekday, so we celebrated on the weekend, and I just hit my lowest point. It was after a night out. And I was laying in my room and at my house in school, and I just drank so much and I was having like neuropathy down my back and my hole in my arms and my legs, and I just felt so numb and shaky. And Mike Glucas was in like the forties, and you know, I was just like, oh my gosh. And in that moment, it kind of hit me the you know, the things that. My mom had spoken over me, the truth that my mom had spoken over my life from such a young age, finally you know, clicked inside of me, and it was the only place that I could turn to, you know, there was really nowhere else that I could turn to. I felt like nobody understood me, and I was like, God, if. If you understand what I'm going through, and if you can get me through this been, I want to give my life to you. I thank you for your your vulnerability here. You know, it's an incredible story in a lot of ways that it mirrors in mimics when I went through as a younger man myself. You know, I've been open with the audience about you know, drinking and drugs and all of that, and you know, unfortunately it's a it's a very common story for a lot of younger people. I'm so happy that you are now on the winning team. So you you give your life to God, and you know, right off the bat you got to get involved in a good church. Can you tell us about that, because I'm sure there might have been some hiccups there. I mean not old churches are good as as we've seen unfortunately in America. Yeah, So I just started going to the church I'd grown up going into, and you know, I ended up going to Raleigh, and where I truly got set on fire wasn't through the church, but it was through an evangelist who lived in Raleigh, and you know, my heart was for more people to come to know Christ. I wanted to tell everybody about Jesus. I didn't really know the Bible front to cover. I still don't, obviously, but I didn't really know what I was talking about. I was just like this, Jesus do change my life. And I got in touch with an evangelist through social media named Doug Elks and Raleigh and UH went out. I moved down there. We started going to like Summit Church in Raleigh, which helped a lot, But really what set me on fire, would put my heart on fire for Jesus, was this dude's heart for Jesus and how he wanted to make his name, his name greater and tell everybody about Jesus, whether we were out in the store or you know, just encountered somebody on a on a in a workout, you know, one on one, just being vulnerable and open to share stories and talk about Jesus. True and then just his wife. The way that he lives is a direct reflection of knowing Christ and walking with him intimately. So that was really encouraging for me and kind of a imitate me as I imitate Christ as what the Bible says, and just having that brotherhood and that one on one relationship with somebody who took his faith so seriously kind of was the turning point for my life. I mean, I went, I went, I'd go to church every Sunday, but you know, that one on one connection and that discipleship was truly what set me on fire. I love this. You know, we all have different talents that God gives us, and really just kind of number one identifying those and then really pursuing them. It's such an incredible thing to see. And obviously you've been gifted with this ability to go and talk to people and share the love of Christ with them. And there's so many hurting people on there or out in the world that this is needed, it's necessary. I want to talk to you about some of your core values because I think this is so important and it's right here on your website and we'll show that to the audience. Aaronkeel dot com. You can see this. The core values are found under the about but you share the gospel wherever God opens the door, and then can you walk us through these four core values then explain to the audience, how you got to these as well? Yeah, I mean the Gospel. First, everything begins and ends with Jesus Christ, from Genesis to Revelation. The Pharisees John five thirty nine. Jesus says, you search the scriptures diligently, but everything in them points to me. Oh, he says, you search the scriptures diligently, thinking that in them you have eternal life, But everything points to me. And so first Corinthians too to the apostle process. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. And ultimately, the life of transformation comes from the gospel message that Jesus Christ came down to earth, he lived a perfect life, He hung on across for our sins. He raised from the dead on the third day, and he paid the send debt that we deserved to God the Father. And by raising from the debt, he'd proved that he was truly the son of God. Meant the payment to God the Father was sufficient. And now by placing our faith and trust in him, we can receive a relationship with him. We can be made new, we can restore, be restored. Back to him and when we die, we can go and see him face the faith and in biblical truth. I believe that there's a lot of things that are kind of straying away from that. You see in schools. The truth is not being preached, it's not being declared over people's life. You see it on the news. And I just. Believe that you know this book that has been from the beginning of time. You know, God created us and his imagy. He knows everything about us. I believe that we should go to the truth with what God really says about us, and not the wise that the enemy is trying to place inside of our head. He's infiltrating the schools with abortion, transgenderism, and all these different false ideologies. But God's truth always prevails. I'm an authentic testimony being able to relate to people with what they're going through, being able to rose to resonate with, you know, people's struggles. I'm not trying to put ourselves higher than them, but but being able to say, hey, I've gone through that, you know, let me help you. This is how I got through it. You're not alone in this. There's no temptation known to man. That's not common. There's no temptation that you're going through that's not common to man. Hey, you're not alone in this. Let me let me walk you through. Let me be an ear for you. I'll listen. I'm not going to call you crazy, I'm not going to say I'm not going to make fun of you for what you're going through. But I'm gonna resonate with you. I'm going to relate with you, and I'm going to try and help you and point you to the Cross of Jesus Christ and then eternal impact. Everything in this world is temporary materialism. None of this stuff is coming with us to an eternity. And one of the flashing points in my life where I had a realization of this was my mom. She was a doctorate in education, and I opened the closet one day and I saw her degree there and all of her accolades, Principle of the year, all these different things, you know, great achievements. But the only thing that left this earth was her soul. She left all of her money, all of her things down here. And so the only thing that we can really do is make an eternal impact for somebody's eternity, you know, telling people about Jesus telling them that their soul has value and that the only thing that they're gonna take from this place is their soul's going to live on forever. And so the decision that you make today, you know, you're gonna die one hundred years from now, and you're not gonna be here one hundred years now, and you know where the decision that you make today is going to decide where you end up. I think that's incredibly well said. I want to break these down a little bit more with you and really go through them. Gospel first. I love what you said there because Christianity is so simple, uh, And I love the quote from from the Word of God there. You know that basically I know nothing other than Christ and that he was crucified. You know, it's that is that is the core tenet of Christianity. And it's so simple. Christ is Lord, he died for our sins. Boom. What else do you need to know? And I really get frustrated with Christians who overcomplicate things. Can you can you can you give us a little bit more on that? Yeah? I mean you go straight to Ephesians two eight and nine. You know, the Bible says it's a gift from God. So that new man may boast. You know, we receive him by faith. There's nothing that we could do to earn God's love. You weren't. You weren't when he died for you. There was nothing that you did to earn that. Roumins five eight says that he demonstrateds well for us in this and while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. And so how can we receive something that we didn't earn in the first place? You know, we can't. You know, when you were on the pursuit for money and fame and wisdom and all the things of this world that the enemy tells you will satisfy your soul. Christ died on a cross. Were you hoping that you would find out the truth about this world? But that there's a God sized hole inside of your heart, that you would come to know him, that you'd come into a relationship with him and be filled. John seventeen three says, eternal life is this that they may know God into one whom you sent Jesus Christ. And so it's all about entering into a relationship with him, not by worse nothing that we could ever do, but by the Cross of Jesus Christ alone. Amen to that. I mean that grace is so essential to understanding that that we don't accomplish anything. It's literally nothing we do is it is Christ and His grace that allows us access entry into heaven. A beautiful, beautiful message there. Biblical truth as well. I want to spend a little bit of time here. Obviously you brought up the schools, the news. There's not a lot of biblical truth there, and I think most Christians who are watching this show can readily identify that. They can look at the public education system and say, yeah, that has gone completely off the rails. But one I want to really focus on is within the church because there's a lot of biblical error heresy that is entered into the church that we really got to be careful of. And especially as we're out there pointing people to Christ. I mean that's a big emphasis on this show is Hey, point you to Christ, but you got to make sure that people are getting in good churches as well. Yeah, I mean, if. You're preaching the Word of God and what it truly says, and you can't go wrong. John seventeen seventeen says, sanctify them with truth. Your word is truth. And then John ten thirty five says the scripture cannot be broken. So I mean, I'll just encourage anybody out there that's, you know, struggling with this to go to a church as preaching. The word of God. I love expository preaching, you know, taking the word and breaking it down what it truly means, so that we can have a thorough understanding of what God's work really says about us and on how we can receive new life in Jesus Christ. I completely agree there. You know, there there's a there's a time and place for more topical sermons. But if that's all you're getting within the church is topical, if it feels like, uh, you know, Tony Robbins is on the stage and he's given you, you know, three steps to a better life. I'm not trying to throw stones over here, but guys, go through the scripture. You know, I echo what my guests just said, teach from the scripture. Expository teaching is absolutely outstanding. You're not going to find a better book on wisdom, on love, on how to treat your enemies, on how to live a good life. You don't need the Tony Robbins, you know, three points or whatever it is, Please expand on that a little bit more. Yeah, I mean there, I'm not huge, and I love illustrations Jesus uses parables, but you know, I just I'm very deep on the Bible and what God says, and I feel like sometimes it can get a little out of hand with the illustrations and the prompts and things like that, and I think that's great. I think there's a time and a place for that. But I really just love the truth being preached. Yeah, no more, no more fog machines, Aaron, can we can we get just like as Christians, can we just universally declare no more fog machines in church? I think that might be a great idea personally. Yeah, yeah, I mean, honestly, I just I'm all for whatever brings more people to Christ as long as it aligns with what the Word of God says. But that's that's my main thing, is people being sanctified by the truth and that the Word isn't being distorted, but they're preaching the unwatered down gospel. Amen, do you mind if I ask you what denomination you are? I'm non denominational, so I don't associate with I mean Protestant. Technically, but sure those are Protestant beliefs. But the reason why I asked is is obviously you're younger than I am, and I've noticed a trend uh. And I'm not the only one. A lot of people are talking about this, but younger men in particular UH seem to be drawn towards the more masculine mainline I guess Orthodoxy. There's a number of young men that are that are becoming Catholic. Many are moving towards the Orthodox Church. But then even within mainline Protestant Protestantism, there's there's a lot going to the Reform or Presbyterian a smaller amount going to the Lutheran churches. And and that was the reason why I asked that because a lot of the people, a lot of the churches that you and I have been kind of dabbling around, I guess kind of dancing around, are more of that pentecostal non denominational side of things. So it's really interesting and really really healthy, I think to see somebody like you who is non denominational. But it's like enough with the gimmicks, let's get into the word. Yeah. I mean, I don't have any bias towards penny you know, branch of Christianity. But I believe that there's good churches and all facets of all facets of it. But you know, like I said, I mean, I'm I'm just all in for the Gospel and the church to proclaim the dunwatered down message of the Gospel. That's that's all it is. I mean, that's what the apostle Paul did. That's what the apostles did. They died for the Gospel, and that's just what I want to hear proclaim, and that's what I want to proclaim with my life. And then again, authentic testimony is another one of your core values and I'd love this. And I think some of the best evangelists that I've ever met are people that have gone through hard times. I think it's the individuals, and I honestly I'm a little bit jealous of the individuals who, Hey, I knew Christ since I was a kid. My parents raised me up in the church. I never strayed. You know. I've been with one woman, I married her, we have a family, Like wow, that's amazing. But I think people like yourself, like myself, who have gone out and lived in the world and seen how vapid and shallow it really is. When they go and they evangelize and share the good news with people, and they're like, no, no, no, God could never love me. You don't know what I've done. Well, let me share some of the things that I've done, and God loves me. And I think those really do make some of the best evangelists. Yeah, yeah, absolutely, And I mean you're just able to I'm able to resonate with a lot of different people that maybe some that knew Christ from you know, when they were born to now isn't able to resonate with or relate it with. And so I mean, I'm grateful for God's plan and what God what I what God brought me through, and He's now using it for good. And we've seen, you know, a great number of decisions for Christ by the grace of God. And I believe that it is truly just through being vulnerable and sharing the testimony that that God. Has gifted me. With Regulations twelve eleven, uh says that they conquered the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of your testimony, and I'm just grateful for all that's happened in my life, which is weird to say or weird to hear somebody say, but I believe that it all happened for our reason. And you know, there's a lot of people out there that are hopeless and dark places, and now I'm able to go out and share with them that, Hey, your life isn't over. Your life has purposed. Your your life has a meaning. You're not a random arrangement of carbon and cells floating around this random universe. But your life God created you with intentionality. Every single hair on your head is counted. You know, God, you have a unique fingerprint with a unique purpose. Ephesians two ten says that your God's scanning work created in Christ. Jesus for good works. And so it's just it's such a blessing to tell people that the person that I once was, you know, I felt purposeless and meaningless, and I felt like I would never be able to come out of the hole that I was in. I felt like I was too far gone, that surely God could help me for my mistakes. And to tell them no, no, no, If you still have breath in your lung, Scott's not done with you as an incredible plan and purpose for your life. And this is what the scripture says about you, and he says that you were made in His image, that your life has purpose and meaning. Yeah, that's that's beautiful. Can you share, not naming names or anything like that, but can you share a success story from some of your your work out there in the field. Yeah. I mean we've seen, you know, homeless people come to make decisions for Christ. I've seen friends who saw me become sober and said, man, I want to become sober, Like how did you do it? And being able to point them to the freedom that comes in Christ. And you know, when we place our faith and trust in him, yet we we're weak. The Bible says, when I am weak, then I am strong. But when we place our faith and trust in Him, he marks us with the promised totally spirit, and he gives us the power and the authority over the enemy to be able to conquer those types of beasts, and you know, just being able to lead them through that. And I've had friends who have many friends who have have become sober solely because they saw how deep I was, how far gone I was and just testifying to them that hey, God. Made me new. I'm a new creation. I'm not the person that I once was. And you know, people have become sober, people who believe in different religions have come to know Jesus Christ as the one and only truth, which is super incredible and man, it's been a blessing to being able to resonate with high school students, college students, and even adults. I've had a situations where I've spoken at. Men's events and some older men you know who are struggling with addiction were just commending me for that and saying that it was inspiring to them and that they wanted to become sober because of that, and they they had hope because. Of my story. Yeah, I thank you for sharing that, you know, talking with like homeless or or people that have addiction issues, especially coming from from your background and being able to speak into that and share your own testimony from that. You know, I feel like that's such an open door. But the fact that you're also able to speak to people that are following different religions, false religions, uh, you know, these these are actually I believe a harder person to get to because they already belie, believe that they're spiritual right, that they are, that they have connected with God or gods in some cases, and they don't think that they need Christ. Can you tell us how you approach that with these individuals who are definitely on the wrong religious path. Yeah, I mean, I just I just allow the Holy Spirit to guide me through those situations. I mean, I really believe that it's all about being, you know, being conditioned to hear the Holy Spirit to what he's saying, what he's speaking in that moment. And I mean I work in the real. Estate industry and I had an interaction not too long ago where a lady said that she had believed in all these different gods, all these different spirits, so almost like a Hindu. And I just felt the Holy Spirit as I was walking out of the door tell me to ask her, ask her one simple question, do you believe in Jesus? And so I asked her that, but she was like, yeah, I believe in Jesus, but I also believe in all these different gods and all these different spirits. And so I was able to lead it to John fourteen six, where Jesus declares that he is to weigh the truth and the life, and that nobody comes to the Father except through him. He doesn't say that he's one of the ways, one of the truths, and one of the lives, but he says he's the only way, and narrows to gate. Narrow is the road that leads to life, and he declares that I am that way. And there's wide roads that lead to death. Leads to death. There's all these other religions. And the funny thing about these other religions is that they claim Jesus. You think about the Mormons, you think about Buddhists, all of them, you know, acknowledge Jesus because he truly was a real person. But Jesus doesn't acknowledge any of them. He says, I'm the only way, and you must have no other gods before me, and then just bring them to the truth about what God says. And that's why one Peter three fifteen is like, always be prepared to share the hope that you have in Christ Jesus. So we just have to have that equipped in our tool about to tell more people about Christ. And when I'm going through those situations, I honestly just allow the Holy Spirit to bring up and remind me of what I've studied, what I've read to be able to just navigate through that certain circumstance. All right with that, let's go back to our guest, Aaron Keel, and we were talking about, you know, these four tenants that he has, these core values that he's working through, and he was talking about we were talking about authentic testimony and being able to talk to people of other religions and Aaron a follow up question that I wanted to ask you, And I'm so pleased that you're listening to the Holy Spirit. And obviously the Holy Spirit, if you listen to him, can can direct you, can give you wisdom that you never even would have thought of yourself. But in speaking with other religions, has it forced you to study any of them? I mean not necessarily. I've had like a basic overview of a lot of the religions, but you know, pointing people to the facts of the Bible, you know, the Bible is a reliable resource. You know that Jesus, Jesus was a real person. That's a non negotiable Nobody says that Jesus wasn't a real person. All of them acknowledged Jesus, which is pretty crazy, and just pointing to the facts. You go to the early Church and they were willing to die for what they believed, but right before that they denied Jesus. So why is it that they denied Jesus and then all of a sudden they're going out and being mourtered for what they believe. It is because they saw the resurrected Jesus and he truly was a real person and truly did resurrect from the dead, and only God can resurrect from the dead. I mean, it's so well said. And as you look at other religions, there really is a lack of hope in so many of them. And there's a lack of consistency as well. The Bible is so consistent from Genesis to revelation that you find consistency. It never contradicts itself, whereas Islam, for example, or Mormonism you bround up that as well. You read through their sacred texts and it's confusing, and one you know, it'll say one thing over here, and then you're like, well wait a minute. But later on in the next chapter it's saying something entirely different, which one am I supposed to follow? Or in the case of Mormonism, you know, you're just supposed to believe that this man, this prophet with air quotes, found this golden tablet which disappeared afterwards. Don't worry about that. You know, we authenticate that it's real. You don't have to worry about that. With Christianity, yeah, I mean. The Bible was comprised of sixty six books, forty different authors, written over a span of fifteen hundred years, thirty nine Old, twenty seven New, three continents Europasia and Africa, three different languages, Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic. They're written in diverse locations, but there's one unifying theme. There's one message. It contradicts each other. There's no archaeological discoveries that disproved the Bible. And you can know for certain that that you have eternal life. That's what the Bible is all about. First John five thirteen says I have written these things to you who believe in the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. But aswam there will my good deeds outweigh my bad, but no Christianity. You can know for certain that you are going to heaven and that your sins are forgiven by placing your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Amen again, I'm so glad you brought up archaeology. Uh, you know, there's there's a story of Ponscious Pilot, which every Christian knows. But for centuries they could find no record of Ponscious Pilot and so a lot of the naysayers would point to this and say, nope, you know, this is clearly an inconsistency in the Bible, until archaeology helped us out and they were able to find a document or I think it was a stone engraving that actually named Ponscious Pilot. So once again, the science, archaeology, history, it all points to how authentic the Bible is. Yeah, no, it's it's pretty amazing. Jesus talks about the scriptures. Everything points to him. You look at creation. Romans one twenty says that since the earth has been designed, we're able to see God's invisible attributes, his eternal powers to bind nature just through looking outside, going outside and seeing God's creation. You look at the skies, you know, the heavens declare God's handywork, that the sgui's proclaim it. You know, we're able to see God and everything. You're absolutely right. That's why the Bible tells us the rocks will cry out if we don't, because He created them. That everything points to Christ. Your last core value in this is eternal impact. Life's changed through the power of the Gospel. I mean, that's really what it's all about, right, This is what Jesus directs us to do, to go and share the Gospel, the good News, to teach them, to teach the world everything that He has taught us. And so as you're going out there making that eternal impact, I'm sure you know there's there's no you know, gloating, there's no you know that I look at everything that I'm accomplishing. It's once again, it's all pointed and directed at Christ. But I'm sure it feels pretty amazing to go from you know, at one drunk fest after another, or when you know, what are we doing next weekend? So we can get absolutely hammered to making this kind of impact on society. Yeah, I mean Ecclesiasts three eleven says that God set eternity in the human heart, and CS. Lewis makes this argument of desire. You know, we try to fill our hearts with this God sized hole with you know, money, fame, validation. Social media is so big nowadays people want whites and followers, which is all fictitious, it's all fake reality, and you know, people just want everything quick and easy, and they're finding out that it's not satisfying their soul. It's not feeling that God size hole inside of their heart. And so maybe we were made for something outside of this world. And that's a relationship with Jesus Christ. And the Bible even says, what can the man profit if he gains the whole world before if it's his soul, Because your soul is of value to God. You know, your soul is so valuable that nothing, nothing in this world would be able to pay the price that me and you deserve to pay. It couldn't be. Paid for with perishable things like silver and gold, those temporary things, but it had to be paid for with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. And so you know, you just think about the value of your soul and you know your soul is going to be here for an eternity. It's going to heaven, and it was so important to God that he would come down from heaven and die. On across for your sins. And you just think about how valuable you are through that, you know, the creator of the universe stepped down from heaven to to pay a price on a dirty cross for your Since, man, I mean, how much more should we have the mind of Christ to seek and save the loss and go out and tell the one about Jesus, the one who feels lost, Because people's souls. Have value, and you know, being quiet and. Remaining silent as eternal implications on somebody's eternity. Again, well very well said there, you know, and it's such a loving thing to do, right because we have our eye on the ball, and that ball is that eternal soul. Right that we know that there are only two destinations. You can either go to hell or you can go to heaven. And obviously, for you and I, with this knowledge and this love of Christ that's in our heart that has been stirred up through the Holy Spirit, we've got to take action. The world is going to offer you these temporary highs, you know, this fame that you've talked about, or power or money or drugs and alcohol, and the real loving thing to do is to tell somebody, Hey, your sin is taking you to hell, and I care so much more about your final destination than I do about offending you or offending the world or coming across as as judgmental as they like to they like to proclaim upon us, that's the true goal for us, that's that's the motivation for us, to ensure that more and more people gain access to heaven. Yeah, I mean, the Bible says that the cross is foolishness to. All those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved as the power of God. And nobody wants to get on their knees and you know, declare themselves as you know, unrighteous and filthy. But you know, it requires to be humbled by the cross of Jesus Christ. And I don't believe that you can go to the cross and not come back unchanged. Sure, Yeah, Aaron, do you mind if I ask you how old you are? I'm twenty three years old. Twenty three years old, this is incredible, you know. I'm My wife constantly reminds me of how close I am to fifty. I'm forty eight. Now. So I'm still I'm still in my prime, but I'm fast approaching you know, middle age at least, I'm probably beyond that. It gives me such hope to talk to somebody like you. I mean, you know the scriptures. This whole interview, you've been quoting scripture after scripture after scripture. Your heart is so on fire for the Lord, and I know that there is this temptation for the older generations to shake their fists, you know at the younger generation. Ah, they're ruining it all. Look at everything they're doing. I joke all the time, it's the get off my lawn mentality. But interviewing somebody like yourself, who, at twenty three years old, you're making such a massive difference for the Gospel, for Christianity, it really does warm my heart. And so to the audience, maybe to the younger generation that might be watching this show, words of encouragement for them. How can they get on a similar path to what you're doing? Yeah, I mean, I devoted my life to the studying of the scriptures, memorization of the scriptures, and I mean, just to encourage somebody out there that keeps falling off from their study or their purpose and keeps going back into the world. I mean, I constantly have to realign with. What I believe that God has spoken over my life and the vision at He's placed inside of my heart. You know, working in real estate, it's easy to try and obtain a certain amount of money. I want more and more and more. But just to continue go continually go back to the cross and remind myself, you know, if who God says, I am, what his word says I am, and to remind that, remind myself that those things are temporary. And to also for somebody that wants to step into a higher calling or feels led to share the gospel, I would just encourage you to start where you're at. I mean, you don't even have to memorize this book front to cover. I mean I remember hosting Amen's event, which the youngest man at that event was probably or the oldest person at that event was probably like twenty four, So not really my older men, but just hosting the event because my heart was so on fire for my friends to be saved and to come to know Jesus. And just starting wherever you are, wherever God has your feet planted. You know, it's not insignificant, whether it's taking out the trash, whatever it is, putting up chairs. Wherever God has you, he can use you, and it can be for the glory of God. But you know, it's easy to get caught up with social media seeing people doing all these great things. But Jesus says, the servant is not greater than the messenger, or the messenger is. Not greater than the one who's sent him. So just being obedient to wherever God has you, because you can use you where you're at. You don't need this, You don't need to go to seminary or have this great theological degree. You just need to know the Word and be planted and obedient to whatever the Spirit places on your heart. Yeah, you're you're You're right. I have a coworker at Mark three seven named Scott, and the guy is an absolute evangelist and every single person he talks to, one of the first questions he asked them is are you in the Word every day? And it's just such a challenge because people don't want to say, especially as Christians, oh no, I'm not. And it's been a challenge for me get in the Word more because that is your ammunition. The world is against you. You are in a spiritual war, and if you're not arming up, and this speaks to you. Knows me as a Marine Corps veteran, I got to have the correct ammunition. I got to have the correct gear, and I can only find that in the Word of God. So I think for both of us, I think both of us would encourage people get in the Word of God. Yeah, yeah, And I mean if you look in the Book of Acts, the early Church, the Apostles, they devoted themselves to prayer in the Word of God, and you just see the explosion of the early Church. I mean, thousands being added to their number daily just through prayer and the Word of God. And I think that in a lot of sense, with technology and always like having this, you know, sound inside of our ears is so hard to be able to be obedient, and so our minds are constantly just distracted. So it's hard to sit in silence and prayer and read. You know, people, I struggle reading sometimes, but I just have to continuously set my mind right back on focus of what I'm reading. And no, I'm not a great reader at all, but it's just it's just being obedient to the spirit and just refocusing my mind and trying to renew it day by day and not being conformed to this world.
