[00:00:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Urban Survival Simulation
[00:00:11] [SPEAKER_01]: This is Gotham Get Out
[00:00:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Gotham Get Out on about 2 miles in
[00:00:25] [SPEAKER_01]: At about 17 minutes a mile
[00:00:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going too fast, but I'm not going too slow
[00:00:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm definitely looking around for things to scavenge
[00:00:35] [SPEAKER_01]: But I'm also realizing there's a bunch of junk
[00:00:38] [SPEAKER_01]: That you can waste a lot of time and effort trying to bring
[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_01]: That ain't worse shit
[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_01]: On the other hand there are invaluable things
[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm still looking, but I'm also keeping a good pace
[00:00:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't want to get too hot
[00:00:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, hot, that's correct
[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I've been going relatively fast
[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sweating, but I'm getting a little overheated
[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_00]: So I kind of decided to do a little check in with you guys
[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Make sure I don't sweat it out too much
[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Once I start getting cold as hell again
[00:01:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll start moving a little faster
[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_01]: So I want to talk about emotions
[00:01:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, the manliest topic of all time, emotions
[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to get into my life's story
[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_01]: But the location we are doing this exercise
[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Is very close to a place that I lived at
[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_01]: For more than six years
[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_01]: And had a lot of good times
[00:01:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of bad times around this area
[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And I've only been here a couple of times
[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Driving through in the past couple years
[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Since I moved away
[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_01]: But I'm literally like that
[00:01:39] [SPEAKER_01]: What is it, that smack in the middle
[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Of where I used to always go
[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Every single portion of the route I'm taking tonight
[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I've walked or biked at some point
[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Usually not in a contiguous fashion
[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_01]: So anyway what does that mean?
[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, think about this guys
[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_01]: When stuff is hitting the fan you're going to be panicked
[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_01]: You might even be scared, you might be pissed
[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_01]: You're definitely going to know what the heck's going on
[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_01]: If the power is out, you don't know about your family
[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't know about your dog, you don't know about nothing
[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_01]: You're going to be so frantic and freaking out
[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not feeling frantic and freaking out now
[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_01]: But I am feeling a little
[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh melancholy
[00:02:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Missed the old days
[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Things could have been better
[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Blah blah blah
[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_01]: It's true, it's also
[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Just the fact that I haven't been here for so long
[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Plus also haven't eaten for 26 hours
[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I think I'm getting a little loopy
[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_01]: So what does that all boil down to?
[00:02:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Whatever your particular situation is
[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_01]: When stuff hits the fan
[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_01]: You're going to be an emotional basket case
[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Or at least that's the initial reactions of your body
[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_01]: But are you able to
[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Get yourself under control
[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Determine, get other people under control too
[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Might be a lot of people panicking around you
[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Need them to take action
[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Not panic, right?
[00:03:00] [SPEAKER_01]: If all the power goes out
[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_01]: EMP, big explosion, who knows what
[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah
[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm already feeling a little bit better talking through this
[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_01]: That's good
[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_01]: And in the end
[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I was like well
[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I could just stand around here
[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Reminisce about the old days
[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And complain or get my ass moving
[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Move forward, march into the future
[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what we're doing
[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_01]: We're still moving here
[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Been the break of our bank shares
[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Patriot power hour, it's going well
[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not that cold
[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I am concerned about
[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Once we all stop for 4 hours
[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Over a night or 6 hours
[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_01]: But hopefully we'll find some fire starter
[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Guys this is a lot of fun
[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_01]: You guys gotta get out there
[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Get out there and act some prepper plans
[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_01]: You'll find out a lot of stuff doesn't work
[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Like you thought it would
[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_01]: But on the other hand
[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_01]: You might find out you're a little more capable than you thought
[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, we'll find out
[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_01]: It's still early in the night
[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm having some fun
[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Stay motivated, let's go baby
