Prepper Camp always provides for the preppers. It always tests the preppers, and I mean both the vendors and the well first starting with the Prepper Camp staff, then the vendors, then the attendees, and twenty twenty six was no different. Through twenty twenty six, I was reminded of years like twenty nineteen with torrential reigns, a very different kind of threat, a very different kind of weather situation that if you were paying attention and if you were taking notes, and if you were you know, driven enough to make some changes upon your return home. You learned about your gear that year, You learned about what worked and what didn't work. You learned about what you needed to fix, You learned about what you needed to add. You learned about what you needed to take away. Probably no greater year of learning like the year that I missed, the year of Helene, right, that was a real test. That was Prepper Camp now turns into an actual SHTF scenario, and good luck getting home in it, good luck surviving, and good luck getting home in it. But you know, even even changes in temperature, there's just always seems to be some kind of little thing that you're you're pressed with when it comes to prepper camp, and you said, this is why I always tell you, like, the three day campout is so important. You know, the three day camp out and you know all transparency. I camped out in a motel this year, But the three day campout is so important, man, because you learn everything, and then you know, not only do you learn everything, but you can rectify problems the next day. Lucky enough, you're at prepper camp. So if you go to bed, if you go to bed and you wake up and go, oh, man, well I really need one of these because one of these would just make everything better. Well, the good thing is just probably a booth with the one of these in it, Right, I need a need. You're going to find a booth with one of those in it, man. So first and foremost, man, I got home safe and sound, no problems, you know what I mean, easy ride home. I was happy got back. And you know when you play a video game and you're stammin the bar gets low, you know that feeling of like you can only you can only sprint so far, like if you're if your full health and full stamina, you can just let it rip. Man, you can really go. But as the game goes on, or as the taxing scenario you're in goes on, sort of that stamina bar starts to go down. Maybe play a little boxing, or play a little UFC fighting or something like that. Like me, the stamina bar works down over time. That's exactly how I feel today. It's exactly the way that I feel today. And that's a big deal. Okay, that's a big deal because it's a very rare feeling for me, you know, very rare. Like it takes. It takes a lot, because look, this year was a lot. You know, this year was about attrition and endurance. I mean that's really what it was. Well, it really was all about hydration. But you know what I'm saying, right, it was day one, day one of a day that you really needed to relax after, you know, and I'm not even talking about setup. I'm talking let's just talk Friday, the event. Friday, the event was enough of a hot day. Everybody there did enough sweating and enough you know, dealing with the heat just through your own body that it warranted probably a full day's rest after. But instead we were two days left. And I really want to give my shout outs to the attendees. Really not to say that I don't appreciate the vendors for being there or the Prepper Camp staff for being there even longer than everybody else, right, but man, I was almost positive that those attendees would be gone after Saturday. I'm thinking, you got there Sunday. I mean, you were there Friday, you were there Saturday. What else is there to see? You know what I mean? And I guess it's speaks volumes to the classes, is what it really does. What it really does is speaks volumes to the quality of classes at Prepper Camp, because that's why they come, if you think about it, and they come for us, I mean they do stop, buy and talk. But in a situation like Sunday, the third day of Prepper Camp, that was going to be heat in decks, I'm sure it was above one hundred easy, if not above one hundred and five, right the third day of suffering that some people were you know, camping in that which that's that is warrior class. Seriously, I mean that's not well you I mean, talk to guys in Iraq, you know what I mean. These are the things they talk about. So it and we're not dealing with soldiers here, right, We're not dealing with people who are trained for this. We're dealing with people who like, got off work Thursday and we're like, all right, honey, let's do Prepper Camp this year. I can't wait. You know, we've seen people in their eighties out there, so absolute warrior stock. To be out there three days in a row, sweating like you can't even understand hot, like you can't even understand no escape, you know what I mean, from the heat whatsoever down there by the lake, and to just gut it out for all three days. Man, it's really impressed by you guys. So if you're listening, I hand it out probably I don't know, two hundred business cards to people with the Prepper Broadcasting Network website on it to tell them about our podcast. So I'm sure there'll be new people listening. And I just wanted to start by telling you, like, and you know, for all of you are there year over year too, it's always you know, those faces that crop up. God bless you man. Really you made the event. You know, if everybody said after day one, if everybody said that's too damn hot, I'm not doing it, went home, you know, it would have been a lot of tough conversations being had all throughout Prepper Camp. So yeah, you guys made the event. You know, we kept the gears working, the speakers, the vendors of course, the crew that puts it all together. God bless them all. But yeah, yeah for you guys to I hope you learned something from it, you know, I hope, I hope you were either dialed in and had recovery down PAT already, or I hope you came away not only saying like this class was good. That class was good, but Mom Nature's class was good too, you know what I mean, Like Mother Nature put on a show for us all too, and a little class for us to learn from, I will say, And I do want to mention this. I want to mention Natalia from X thirty nine from Life Wave. She's a vendor at Prepper Camp pretty often, I don't know, four or five years probably something like that. And Natalia has been there, and yeah, I'm just gonna be completely transparent with you can listen to her podcast. I posted it yet two days ago. There's a lot of these sort of health and regent, juveniation, regeneration, all this kind of stuff. Products out there. I'm just gonna give you my complete transparency. I don't you guys know what I take. You know what I mean. I take Omega three's, vitamin C, creatine. These are the things that I take, sometimes a multi vitamin. I probably should have took a multi vitamin this morning. I don't take a ton of supplements. I do liquid IV when it's super hot, you know. But I was out. That's all it was. I was out, or I would have had a whole pouch with me over the weekend. I just ran out of time. You know how it goes. So that's the that's the full account of the kind of stuff that I use in terms of launch. I have. Everything else that goes into my health and wellness is food. It's all food, right, It's what foods I eat, what season, you know, what type of salt, I you all those kinds of things I would go into my health. I try to keep it as whole foods as possible when I can. Oh, I also heard this today. I didn't fact check it though, but it's probably worth fact checking. You know, Avocados tremendous for you, Omega threes and tomatoes tremendous for you. High like a bean cancer fighting capabilities. If you eat tomatoes with avocados, the cancer fighting like a bean, absorption goes up four hundred percent. Just a thought, next time you make guacamole, put some but either put some dice tomatoes in it, or have a little sherry tomato raw plate with it, or whatever something along that we make a little salsa fresco. What do they call that their pico? What is piko degaiyo with it? You know what I mean? Because it's a thing, man, that's a real thing, and I kind of dig it. I like that little statistic. So something to consider. But mother nature taught us a lot this year. Man whipped our asses, all of us. If you really shine, to reach out and let us know your process. Because as far as I could tell, nobody was really truly shining. You know what I mean? We were surviving by day two. Day two, we were largely surviving. After day one, I spent a lot of time in bed, because mainly I wanted to spend a lot of time in bed, whether the situation was good or bad. Day two, I get over to Natalia's booth to interview her. She puts the ice wave patches on my feet, on the balls of my feet right these ice wave it was like in the middle of my it was like below and in the middle right wherever the liver is, you know how people who know the pressure points and acupressure all that kind of stuff. Wherever the liver is is where she put them. And then she gave me I can't remember it. It's a cellular powder. Because life Wave is all about your cellular health and giving yourselves like lots of resources to do what they need to do to be healthy. She gave me a drink. It was a powder. It was called cellular something. And what I'm going to tell you about day two, Okay, around twelve thirty, so an hour before my class, I just pop up like I just feel like whoa. And it's probably like an hour after I drank her drink and got the patches right. And it wasn't like an energy whoe. It was like a well, it really was like a rehydration woe is what it was like, you know. It was. It was like you're in a D That's what it really reminded me of most. It was like you're in a d dehydrated state or an exhaustion state and then all of a sudden you're no longer in that state, but you're not pushed there by chemical right, Like I definitely wasn't pushed there by like caffeine or energy drink or something like that, because there was no shakiness. It was strength, you know what I mean. It felt like it felt like strength. It felt like someone summoned Chenron and was like, get James back to full by one wish, get James back to full power. Like that's what it really was. Like. If you watch the end of the Boo saga in Dragon Ball Z, you know what I'm talking about. But if you're a normal human being, you have no idea what I'm talking about. But anyway, so I was sold. Man. I was like, this stuff, something in this in this trifecta worked, you know what I mean. There's no there was no denying it beyond that. It was like something here worked. And that's important, man, That's important because like I said, there's all kinds of companies like Schulse showed me this amazing tests you can do with your blood. It's a blood draw test. They give you like a sixty page report on all the markers, all the things in your genes that could cause problems in the future, address any kind of problems that you had not fixed things, but tell you, hey, look, this is what you're predisposed for. This could be coming in the future. Here's what you can do to negate it. Really blew me away. There were some vendors this year that really blew me away, and we're going to talk about all of them. I tried to get as many of them as I could in a short sort of five to ten minute podcast that would serve you guys, and would serve them. You know. I was looking to like make sure everybody got served to some degree. I didn't want to sit down thirty minutes with everybody because I didn't have the time. Plus i'd probably die, you know what I mean, from the heat. So I wanted to make sure that I just did a quick five to ten minute in and out with a lot of great vendors and gave them a chance to make their case and it. You know, but we will have some of them on again so that they can really break it all down for you and really show you what's up. Because I was really blown away. You know, some of these guys really blew me away. Doctor Prepper. Really his system really blew me away, like big time. I was like, Wow, this is something here. You'll hear from him in a shorter podcast in the very near future, you know, could be today, actually might be later today. But we all walked away with our you know, our flashlights and our Ammo cans, and our notes from our classes under our belt and classes that we took. You know, I'm talking in the in the attendee sense. Now. We walked away with our tinctures and our you know, all of our things that we purchased from Prepper Camp and our memories. But we also walked away with this new imperative, right, we walked away with this new idea, this new improvement. It's like, if I'm bugging out in August, then we gotta think about cooling. We gotta think about hydration, you know, we gotta. It's one of those things where like if you were in a bug out situation through through August, like you're gonna have to follow a creek. This is probably your only up. You're either gonna have to follow a creek or follow a creek far enough off that you can you know, you can hit that creek when you need to because you're gonna constantly need to. I mean we talked. Look, I talked about this if you paid attention back when we did the Appalachian Operation, right when we did the twelve mile hike in August at night through the Appalachian Trail, Bend, the Breaker, the banksters and I. It was all hinged on it all hints on hydration powder, Like we had a hydration We had several different hydration powders, and they turned that night into a a mission accomplished because it definitely could have been an absolute nightmare, right especially towards the end of the twelve miles. And that was you know, that was a lesson learned back in those days. But I hope a lot of people took that, took that to the bank. And you know the other thing is the you know there are sponsor, but I want you to understand that I really think hydro Blue Hydro Blue hydro Blu dot Com has some of the most affordable and most effective water filtration tools on the market. You know, like if you were following a creek, the sidekick, the Hydro Blue sidekick depend the basically the sharpie sized life straw. It's twenty bucks. It fits in your sock if you needed it too and would get and it's easier to get out of. From my experience, amazing. It's an amazing tool. Man. Their versu flow would be incredible because you could take water with you in a dirty water pouch and filter it or form one water bottle to the next having these, you know, my go to is a handpump water filter. I think you get the most bang for the buck, the most water for the effort. Right, So that's always been my thing. I want to have at least one of those on my person, especially when water becomes you know, front and center, and it doesn't take much exertion before water does become front and center. Right, Jordan is going to do a full podcast on hydration. Right, maybe we call Prepper Camp twenty twenty six Operation Perspiration. Huh, probably about right. Operation Perspiration is in the bag, It's in the books. It was a great time, man, I got a lot to tell you about it. We're not going to do it all in this show, but I got a lot to tell you about it. You're gonna hear from a lot of the great vendors. I'm sure you're gonna hear from Dave Jones, the NBC guy, Sarah hath the way Jordan all about their experience and how it went, because you know, it was prepper camp, but on on the heat right, prepper camp at one hundred degrees each day. And we still did it. We still pulled it off. We still pulled Saturday Night off. Saturday Night was incredible. I'll tell you about Saturday Night and then I'm gonna get out of here. So Saturday I get it revealed to me that Christian Sarah Hathaway's Sun has created a tinfoil get up, a very interesting tinfoil get up, and I'm in love with it. I'm like, oh, this is gonna be amazing. This is how we're gonna announce tinfoil hat winner this year. It's gonna be great. We only had a couple, one couple that showed up with the tinfoil hats, and I said, you know what, Hey, fine, let's do it. So they won. Obviously. I got up on the stage. Every year, I get up on the stage to announce the winner, and I introduce the President of the United States. We had a tinfoil Trump. Christian took a Donald Trump hair sort of like a latex Donald Trump hare put it over his head, covered his hair in foil. Then he took a red tie and covered that in foil, and we had ourselves at Donald tru and he also had a great T shirt on. To do this all in he said like a strong text in strong text, and I think his shirt said it was great man. He did a little bit up there with his hands and his Trump impression, and he was phenomenal. And I think Rick really enjoyed it. Rick even through the YMCA on afterwards so that he could get the Trump dance of Christian. It was great, you know what I mean? It was. It was It was just all the fun that it always is just a little hotter. And uh, I'll be honest with you, I don't want to do it again. I don't want to do August again because you know, it's it affects the event. So I hope Rick gets it, gets the chance to Uh. He said he was gonna try to move it around different date next year. It takes its toll on, It takes its toll on the attendees. What I would really like for the attendees to know is like we're gonna do it we're gonna do it in that location, but we're gonna do it when it's not one hundred degrees. But aside from that, man, it was a great time and that's all I'm going to talk about today. Folks. Thank you for joining me. I do appreciate you. Please support our great sponsors. UH. For those of you who have CA cup machines, I got a special offer for you from Disastercoffee dot com.
