[00:01:07] I'm here to report on a Compulsive Nation this morning.

[00:01:11] Yeah.

[00:01:12] It's out of left field. It's not a big story.

[00:01:17] Some days I look for the big story. I go for the big story.

[00:01:20] What's going on with it? What, you know, what's the angle?

[00:01:24] And then some days, because I am who I am, I got to talk about what I'm thinking, feeling, seeing.

[00:01:35] I'm going to see a lot of this.

[00:01:38] We already see a lot of this.

[00:01:42] What I mean by this is compulsive behavior.

[00:01:47] Compulsive behavior dominates your life, my life, most people's lives these days.

[00:01:52] And it's tethered to the lifestyle that we all live.

[00:02:01] And you have to be in sort of the same way that I was talking about liberty as the perennial battle.

[00:02:09] You have to fight for your peace.

[00:02:12] You have to fight for your inner peace, too.

[00:02:15] You know, I wake up every day.

[00:02:16] And one of the things that I always say in my head is it's time to battle.

[00:02:22] It's time to go to war.

[00:02:24] It's time to go step into battle, because if you understand what's going on in life, you are in a war day in and day out.

[00:02:35] You know what I mean?

[00:02:36] And it's there are there are little fights that you have to win each and every day.

[00:02:40] The first, of course, being getting out of bed.

[00:02:41] You know, I got to find the will and the determination to get out of bed and do this.

[00:02:46] I've got a job to do.

[00:02:47] I've got these responsibilities, those responsibilities.

[00:02:52] And if you want to have a life that is exciting and fun and something you look forward to.

[00:03:01] And you're going to fight little battles all day long.

[00:03:03] You know how you deal with the pee on the kitchen floor from your dog because you didn't wait, let them out last night before bed or whatever.

[00:03:14] How you deal with the mess that was left from your family in the kitchen the night before or how you know how you deal with all these little battles.

[00:03:24] You wind up with choices.

[00:03:26] You wind up face to face with choices.

[00:03:28] The guy who pulls onto the highway in front of you and he's going 20 miles an hour.

[00:03:34] And how am I going to deal with this?

[00:03:35] What am I going to do?

[00:03:36] My kids are in the car.

[00:03:37] Should I just give them the finger and start shouting expletives, beeping the horn?

[00:03:45] I'm not saying there's a right or wrong way to do it.

[00:03:48] I'm just saying the way that you do it begins to craft the kind of life that you live day in and day out.

[00:03:55] You know, I one of the greatest examples of compulsive behavior is the road rage.

[00:04:03] You know what I mean?

[00:04:04] It's it's the road rage.

[00:04:06] The road rage is is the purest example of.

[00:04:12] Sort of the compulsion taking over.

[00:04:16] And when you think about it, it makes perfect sense because you forced yourself to do this thing.

[00:04:22] Most people, right, force themselves to do this thing that they don't really want to do, but they know they have to do it.

[00:04:31] There's no way around it, but they have to do it for eight hours a day.

[00:04:34] They're probably around people they don't really like.

[00:04:37] You know what I mean?

[00:04:38] They're probably around people they don't really want to be around and they have to do it.

[00:04:43] You know, morning, Jay for garden girl.

[00:04:49] And they force themselves to do this thing.

[00:04:52] And then after eight hours and a lunch break and everything, it's on the road.

[00:04:55] And there's one thing standing between you, right?

[00:04:57] It's it's it's that between you and home between you and and after eight hours being able to finally exhale.

[00:05:05] You know, that's what it feels like when you work eight hours at a job you don't like.

[00:05:09] It feels like you're holding your breath for eight hours and you can walk through the threshold of your home and finally take a breath out.

[00:05:16] And, you know, it's it not only feels like that.

[00:05:19] Sometimes it is like that because tip number one.

[00:05:24] OK, if you are.

[00:05:28] Living the life that I'm explaining, there's a good chance that you are.

[00:05:33] Living on shallow breath.

[00:05:36] This is a real thing.

[00:05:38] OK.

[00:05:39] And this happens to people all the time.

[00:05:41] It happened to me two, three days ago.

[00:05:43] You can get excited.

[00:05:45] You can get nervous.

[00:05:47] You can get depressed.

[00:05:48] You can get scared, whatever.

[00:05:51] If you feel your body's tense and you know you're going through a rough day, there's a good chance that you are breathing like shit.

[00:06:00] Like you are just taking shallow, rapid breaths.

[00:06:03] And over time, man, you know, I'm talking hours a day's time.

[00:06:08] It will affect everything about your mood and body and everything.

[00:06:14] And when you're at a job that you hate.

[00:06:17] I know from a lot of experience, you rarely stop.

[00:06:22] And take in a deep breath and think about your breathing, right?

[00:06:26] It's for real, like just all the way.

[00:06:29] And the only way you get how do you take a deep breath?

[00:06:32] I didn't learn how to take a deep breath from a yoga instructor.

[00:06:37] I learned how to take a deep breath from my jujitsu coach.

[00:06:41] Right.

[00:06:42] The only way to take a deep breath is to let out a all the air in your lungs.

[00:06:48] See, when you're stuck in the pattern of like short and shallow breaths, it's because you're not breathing out.

[00:06:54] It's not because you're not breathing in deeply.

[00:06:56] And that's where people get freaked out, because when you're in panic and chaotic mode in a work day and I got a meeting in five minutes, I'm not ready for it.

[00:07:05] I got to answer this email and this guy's calling out like.

[00:07:09] When you're breathing shallowly all the time, you know, this is what you like.

[00:07:14] You're like panting.

[00:07:15] You know what I mean?

[00:07:17] You're not breathing out.

[00:07:19] So then you panic because you say, I'm a mess.

[00:07:22] Let me take a deep breath.

[00:07:24] And you go to take a deep breath and you realize you can't really breathe in that deep anymore.

[00:07:29] And then you start thinking to yourself, oh, shit, I'm having a panic attack now.

[00:07:33] Right.

[00:07:34] Or something along those lines.

[00:07:35] But what the reality is.

[00:07:39] Most of the time.

[00:07:41] You're not breathing out.

[00:07:44] And in order to take a deep breath.

[00:07:46] You have to breathe the air out first.

[00:07:49] All the way out.

[00:07:50] I used to play a game when I was a little kid where I would try to breathe all the air out that I could possibly breathe out.

[00:07:57] And oftentimes it would make me cough.

[00:07:59] And then I would try to breathe all the air in that I could possibly breathe in.

[00:08:03] And eventually that would make me cough, too.

[00:08:06] This is the benefit of school.

[00:08:08] This is what you learn at school.

[00:08:09] You don't actually learn anything valuable, but you learn these kind of things to bide your time before you can get the hell home and play with your friends.

[00:08:17] Where you really learn what life is all about.

[00:08:21] Playing with your friends in the streets and getting in fights and warring factions in the neighborhood is actually where you learn what life is all about.

[00:08:30] In school, you just learn how to count so that later in life you can count all the reasons you want to quit.

[00:08:35] You know what I mean?

[00:08:36] I'm just being very cynical about school right now.

[00:08:39] I'm kidding.

[00:08:41] No, I know people who have done amazing things in school and it's all come down to effort.

[00:08:49] You know, I was a guy who just puttered out on effort with school and I and I played into this game where I didn't care and I school sucked in the school.

[00:08:58] I went to sucked and the teachers were no good and really fundamentally was a big excuse for me trying to not do what I'm supposed to do in school basically.

[00:09:09] So anyway, you wind up in this sort of situation where you're panting and screaming at people on the highway.

[00:09:15] And in order to endure all of this, in order to deal with all of this.

[00:09:21] You fold in the compulsive behavior, you bite the nails, you bite the lip, right?

[00:09:26] You tap, you might lay.

[00:09:29] I'm a bounce.

[00:09:30] I'm a bouncy guy.

[00:09:31] You know what I mean?

[00:09:31] At work, I'd always be bouncing.

[00:09:33] It's warehouse safety meetings.

[00:09:35] I'd be conducting safety meetings.

[00:09:37] And before it was my turn to talk, I'm bouncing, not nervous.

[00:09:40] I'm just so full of energy.

[00:09:42] We're all so full of energy.

[00:09:45] And I'll say it like my father said it.

[00:09:47] My father rarely got mad at me.

[00:09:49] Rarely.

[00:09:50] You know, I got mad at my kids way more than my dad ever got mad at me.

[00:09:54] He just didn't really get mad at me that much, you know?

[00:09:59] But one time he got kind of tired of me pissing and moaning about school.

[00:10:03] Oh, I don't want to go to school.

[00:10:04] Oh, I don't want to go all the time because I hated school so much.

[00:10:07] But newsflash, everybody hates school, right?

[00:10:09] That's what I always tell my kid.

[00:10:11] I want to go to a different school.

[00:10:12] I don't want to go to school.

[00:10:13] Like everybody hates school.

[00:10:14] No schools.

[00:10:15] You're never going to walk into a school and be like, holy, I'm at school.

[00:10:17] It's so fun.

[00:10:20] But my dad told me.

[00:10:22] What's so hard you go in?

[00:10:24] You sit down.

[00:10:25] I got to get up.

[00:10:26] I got to climb the ladders, paint roofs, paint walls, go outside,

[00:10:29] paint windows, you know, carry paint up ladder.

[00:10:32] The only time he ever really said anything like this to me.

[00:10:35] You go in, sit down.

[00:10:37] That's cool.

[00:10:38] Go in, sit down.

[00:10:41] And to him, the physical labor was, you know, something to be moan,

[00:10:45] not the going in and sitting down looking at a book.

[00:10:48] And I got the message.

[00:10:49] You know, I stopped bitching about it around them.

[00:10:51] But the go in and sit down part is actually part of the problem.

[00:10:57] Your body is going to burn up that energy one way or another.

[00:11:02] It's going to try to utilize the energy that you have.

[00:11:07] And if your whole day is sit down.

[00:11:09] Then guess what?

[00:11:11] It's going to all of that's going to come out in compulsive behavior.

[00:11:15] All that's going to come out in your road rage and your, you know, whatever kind of body weird body behavior have, you know, employees playing with your hair, pulling your hair, pulling this, cutting this, biting this, whatever it is.

[00:11:28] Right. We all have weird stuff picking your nose.

[00:11:33] These are compulsions.

[00:11:35] And what's most devious is now we have a compulsive box that we carry around every day with compulsion apps in it.

[00:11:47] You know what I mean?

[00:11:50] Like compulsion apps.

[00:11:52] There is nothing more compulsive than YouTube shorts and tick tock.

[00:11:57] Like it is the height of compulsion.

[00:11:59] It's the swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe.

[00:12:02] It's funny. Let me get a little funny.

[00:12:04] Swipe, swipe, swipe. Oh, that's cool.

[00:12:05] Let me get a little cool.

[00:12:06] Swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe.

[00:12:07] Right. And you just burn and through.

[00:12:12] There's a very easy way.

[00:12:14] If I'm saying all this and you're and you're saying to yourself, no, no, no, that's not me.

[00:12:17] I do a little tick tocking and I do a little road raging, but that's not me.

[00:12:22] OK.

[00:12:23] And why am I bringing all this up anyway?

[00:12:28] Because you want to have.

[00:12:32] Fundamentally.

[00:12:33] What you're losing, what we're all losing.

[00:12:36] Is our ability to recognize what's happening in the here and now.

[00:12:41] Right. We are because of our therapized society.

[00:12:47] Right. Because therapy is everywhere.

[00:12:50] You need therapy.

[00:12:51] Everybody on Earth needs therapy.

[00:12:53] You need therapy in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening.

[00:12:55] You need therapy, therapy, therapy, therapy.

[00:12:57] Call somebody, go see somebody, text somebody, talk to an A.I. therapist.

[00:13:01] You need therapy.

[00:13:04] Therapy is fundamentally and, you know, it has its place.

[00:13:08] I went to a therapy session one or two times or something like that.

[00:13:12] That's a whole nother story I don't want to get into right now.

[00:13:14] It was kind of funny.

[00:13:15] But anyway, therapy.

[00:13:18] Is in large part a focus on the past.

[00:13:22] Which is probably the most dangerous water to tread.

[00:13:26] If you're trying to find peace in life, one of the most dangerous things you can do is spend time in the past.

[00:13:33] If you spend time in the past.

[00:13:36] It's so rare that you pull out anything of use, any kind of gem.

[00:13:41] You know, I'm talking about history.

[00:13:43] You study history.

[00:13:44] That's a different thing.

[00:13:45] I'm talking about your past.

[00:13:47] Because the big bright lights in your past are almost always the traumas, right?

[00:13:51] What terrible thing happened to me?

[00:13:53] Well, it was so bad.

[00:13:55] Oh, it was a crazy pal.

[00:13:56] I can't believe she did that.

[00:13:58] I'll never forgive her.

[00:13:59] I can't believe he.

[00:14:00] I can't.

[00:14:01] And it was so bad.

[00:14:02] I can't believe I that the real the real bad ones are when you say I can't believe I did.

[00:14:06] Right.

[00:14:06] That's the one that really crushes you.

[00:14:08] You go back and think about like, why the why did I do that to that person?

[00:14:12] What was I thinking?

[00:14:15] So to tread in the past, it reminds me of like running through hell.

[00:14:21] It's like a trip through hell.

[00:14:23] You know what I mean?

[00:14:24] And if you're treading through the past, you need to look at it that way.

[00:14:26] You're in the fiery pits of hell.

[00:14:28] And the best thing you can do is get the hell out of there quickly.

[00:14:36] So if you don't spend time in the past, there's a good chance you spend most of your time in the future.

[00:14:42] What am I going to do this weekend?

[00:14:44] What are we going to do this weekend?

[00:14:46] I'm going to save money.

[00:14:47] I'm going to buy this thing in a few months.

[00:14:49] We're going to have Christmas.

[00:14:50] What am I going to get for Christmas?

[00:14:51] What does wife want with the kids?

[00:14:52] What do I want to ask Santa for for Christmas?

[00:14:55] Right.

[00:14:56] I want to have a Christmas party.

[00:14:58] I want to have a New Year's party.

[00:14:59] I want to go.

[00:15:00] Thanksgiving's coming up.

[00:15:01] Let's go.

[00:15:01] I need to get the turkey.

[00:15:02] I need to get this.

[00:15:03] Let me write a list.

[00:15:04] Let me write a list for the future.

[00:15:05] List, list, lists, lists for the future.

[00:15:08] Thoughts for the future.

[00:15:09] Pay attention to the future, future, future.

[00:15:11] Everything's going on in the future.

[00:15:16] And whether you whether you're imbalanced in the past or the future, you're sacrificing the present.

[00:15:25] And I really think that the more we spend in the past or the future, the more compulsive we become.

[00:15:32] Now.

[00:15:34] We have a lot of forces working against us.

[00:15:36] You have to understand the forces working against you.

[00:15:40] Right.

[00:15:42] Because everything that you buy, every ad that you see and everything that you buy is either about your past or your future.

[00:15:52] And why is that?

[00:15:55] Why is that?

[00:15:57] Because you can hardly buy anything.

[00:16:01] There's hardly anything that you can buy.

[00:16:04] That will affect your present.

[00:16:07] You know what I'm saying?

[00:16:09] Like it's really hard to buy something that will affect your appreciation for the present.

[00:16:14] That's the beautiful thing about the present is that you don't need anything to enjoy it.

[00:16:23] You know what I mean?

[00:16:24] Now, your present could suck, could have made some bad decisions.

[00:16:28] You could be living in a tiny little apartment in Manhattan, wishing you were on 45 acres somewhere else.

[00:16:35] You could be living, you know, who knows the depths of despair that the average American can live through are pretty impressive.

[00:16:42] And there's a lot of people living really suck lives.

[00:16:46] I'd never deny you that.

[00:16:48] And I'd never deny anyone the escape of thinking of the past, living in the future, scrolling compulsively through the Internet to deal with the suck of life.

[00:17:00] Because there's always suck.

[00:17:02] You know what I mean?

[00:17:03] This is what it is.

[00:17:07] The true test, and it's also the cure, is sitting.

[00:17:17] And it's one of those things that's so, it sucks so much, the answer.

[00:17:22] Sucks so much that I don't talk about it a whole lot because even I don't like it.

[00:17:32] Even I don't like it.

[00:17:35] The cure for a compulsive nation is so simple that it sucks.

[00:17:42] And then the process sucks.

[00:17:44] It's not fun.

[00:17:46] But it is to sit in silence.

[00:17:50] And it's one of the most challenging things a human being can do this day and age.

[00:17:56] And I mean sit in silence and do nothing.

[00:18:00] It doesn't mean that you have to clear your mind and meditate and not think about anything.

[00:18:05] That's impossible.

[00:18:08] But it means that exactly what I said.

[00:18:11] You find a place to sit, you sit there.

[00:18:17] You leave the phone somewhere else.

[00:18:20] You don't turn the TV on.

[00:18:21] You don't interact with dogs.

[00:18:23] You know what I mean?

[00:18:24] Do something to keep your hands busy.

[00:18:26] None of that.

[00:18:26] No books.

[00:18:30] No kind of titillation whatsoever.

[00:18:36] And the best thing you can do is look at a clock and say, today I'm going to sit for two and a half minutes.

[00:18:44] And I'm just going to sit here.

[00:18:45] The only thing you should focus on other than sitting is make sure you're not panting.

[00:18:52] Make sure you're not sitting there like your dog after a run.

[00:18:55] Take some deep breaths.

[00:19:02] The extent, a great metric is to see just how hellacious it is to sit still for three minutes.

[00:19:09] Like if the very thought of sitting still for three minutes with nothing on TV, no phones, no distractions, no stimulation is like murder.

[00:19:19] Then you know how important it is for you to sit still.

[00:19:25] You know what I mean?

[00:19:30] Like I said, it's very lackluster because the problems are terrifying.

[00:19:35] Right?

[00:19:36] The phone.

[00:19:37] I talked to a dentist the other day.

[00:19:39] The dentist said, everyone bites their fingernails now.

[00:19:44] I never saw this before.

[00:19:47] From like seven years old up to 17 years old, every kid who comes in the pediatric dentist bites their fingernails.

[00:19:56] And she said, and she was like, I don't, I can't make assumptions.

[00:20:02] I have to assume she was at the very least a, a very involved mother because she was telling me how she cuts the son's fingernail.

[00:20:13] I cut his fingernails.

[00:20:15] I do.

[00:20:16] She gave me a list of things that she does for her son to make sure that he's taking care of his teeth.

[00:20:21] Now she's a dentist, of course, but you know, it's a rare thing this day and age, you know?

[00:20:27] It's a rare thing.

[00:20:29] Jay Ferg in chat says she does it.

[00:20:31] She sits there, chills out, enjoys life actually happening instead of what happened or what could happen.

[00:20:40] You can enjoy life just happening.

[00:20:43] You know what I mean?

[00:20:45] It's so, I mean, it's a practice.

[00:20:47] It's just a practice.

[00:20:48] It's a skill like anything else.

[00:20:50] You know, if you listen to this show because you want to get excited about like homesteading and survival skills.

[00:20:56] I'm just understand this is just like that.

[00:20:59] It's just like that.

[00:21:01] Slowing down a little bit.

[00:21:03] I'm from the Northeast, guys.

[00:21:05] You understand?

[00:21:07] I am from the Northeast of the country.

[00:21:11] Okay.

[00:21:12] All we do is aggro.

[00:21:14] All we do is yell and fight and pick on each other.

[00:21:18] This is the Northeast is it's a brutal place.

[00:21:23] And maybe not so much anymore.

[00:21:24] I don't know.

[00:21:25] I mean, I still run into people when I go up there and it's like a reminder that you ain't in the South no more homeboy.

[00:21:31] And you go, oh, yeah, I forgot.

[00:21:33] I forgot.

[00:21:33] This is fast.

[00:21:35] You know what?

[00:21:35] Everything's fast.

[00:21:36] Come on.

[00:21:36] You wasted my time to me.

[00:21:38] That's what it is up there.

[00:21:41] It's like you can't even understand the road rage.

[00:21:44] It's life rage.

[00:21:46] It's not even road.

[00:21:46] Like the way you feel on the road when you got road rage, you know, and someone behind you or someone in front of you is driving too slow.

[00:21:53] That's everywhere you go, everything you do.

[00:21:55] Like, God forbid you get in a line at the supermarket that ain't moving.

[00:21:59] God forbid you're going down an aisle and there's somebody walking slower than you.

[00:22:04] And I lived like years like this, man, just just charged up everywhere I went, speeding everywhere I went.

[00:22:11] You know what I mean?

[00:22:13] And fishing fundamentally saved me.

[00:22:15] My father taking me fishing or, you know, that relationship really, it added a layer to my life that was different than that.

[00:22:25] That probably playing guitar too, you know, that guitar is one of those things where you can silence the past and the future and just be, you know what I mean?

[00:22:39] But life is tough, you know, but we try to cover it all up with like drinking and smoking and sex and drugs and drugs are death now.

[00:22:52] I mean, you can't mess around with drugs.

[00:22:54] It's a different game.

[00:22:56] It's really poor timing that we went through this massive sort of like, we should make everything legal in the country.

[00:23:03] And and it put people in this gray area where they were like, I want to try some drugs.

[00:23:09] They don't seem so bad.

[00:23:10] Joe Rogan says that drugs aren't all that bad.

[00:23:13] And then the whole line of.

[00:23:17] The whole lines of drugs now are poisoned with fentanyl and people are just dying mass.

[00:23:25] You know what I mean?

[00:23:27] But all those things, you know, a guy who really changed me and I have to mention him.

[00:23:32] It goes by the name of Sad Guru.

[00:23:35] Sad Guru.

[00:23:35] OK, and Sad Guru is an Indian dude who is what does he call it?

[00:23:42] What are they called?

[00:23:43] I can't think about it.

[00:23:47] I don't I don't know.

[00:23:48] I don't feel like wasting your time or mine to think about it, but he's on YouTube.

[00:23:53] You can find him.

[00:23:54] You can listen to him talk about stuff like this all the time.

[00:23:57] He talks about all of this kind of stuff.

[00:24:01] And one of the things he said that it was so pro he said a lot of profound stuff, you know,

[00:24:06] but a lot of it's just getting out of your own way.

[00:24:09] You know, it's just get out of your own damn way.

[00:24:11] And your brain is powerful and you don't know how to use it.

[00:24:14] Those are kind of like his core beliefs.

[00:24:17] But one of the things he always says is that we are like chemical people now.

[00:24:22] Like we've got to this point in life where we're chemically we need chemicals to do almost everything in life.

[00:24:27] You want to wake up?

[00:24:28] You need chemicals, right?

[00:24:30] Caffeines, energy drinks, whatever.

[00:24:33] You want to be happy?

[00:24:34] You need chemical.

[00:24:34] Give me a pill.

[00:24:35] Right.

[00:24:36] You want to get stronger?

[00:24:38] You need chemicals.

[00:24:39] You want to all your food has chemicals in it.

[00:24:42] You want to make love?

[00:24:43] You need chemicals.

[00:24:44] Right.

[00:24:44] Everything is chemicals.

[00:24:47] You follow me?

[00:24:49] And he just, you know, he laments the fact that the human being is just awash in chemicals

[00:24:53] all the time.

[00:24:55] Like the average person needs chemicals to do almost everything.

[00:24:57] Ready for bedtime?

[00:24:58] Oh, no, I'm not ready for bed.

[00:27:29] Your anger boils up so fast.

[00:27:32] You get so annoyed by everything because it's just loud.

[00:27:40] Like I don't people sleep with the TV on and the fans on and the.

[00:27:52] If you're one of those constant noise in life, people, I'm telling you, you need to take some time and start sitting quietly.

[00:28:33] Because I said this years ago because I felt this, you know, I don't say these things just because like I said it because I felt it.

[00:28:41] I felt that by 10 o'clock in the morning, like it's 930, you know, I'm getting there by about 10 o'clock.

[00:28:49] I'm as stimulated as a human should be.

[00:28:54] And then the rest of the day is like you're just fighting through it.

[00:28:59] You're looking at your phone to get a little dopamine hit, a little energy to get through it.

[00:29:02] You're looking at your your because if you wake up like five, six o'clock.

[00:29:08] And you're me or you're, you know, whatever you're into, chances are you're in that phone.

[00:29:13] You're looking at news.

[00:29:14] Oh, my God, I can't believe what happened.

[00:29:16] Oh, my. Oh, look at this sale.

[00:29:17] Oh, very excited.

[00:29:18] You know what? Maybe I'll pick that up real quick.

[00:29:20] And you're already like firing up the freaking engine.

[00:29:24] And then you're over there making the coffee, but the caffeine in the body.

[00:29:28] And now you're by. Oh, now we're really firing up.

[00:29:30] And maybe you got some commuting to do some kid dropping off and you're listening to the radio or you're listening to me or you're listening to a podcast.

[00:29:37] Right. And now you're I'm even more fired up now.

[00:29:40] And I think by the time you get into work, you got to deal with the work shit.

[00:29:44] And by time, 10 o'clock rolls around.

[00:29:46] I think the average person is about about as you just think about like pioneering age, colonial America.

[00:30:01] You get a week's worth of stimulation in four hours.
