Welcome in, everyone. Dirt, cheap, and free preps episode one. October 1st. This is going to be a 30-day stand of shows, okay? A 30-day stand of shows where, man, we're going to be doing it. We're going to be doing dirt, cheap stuff, cheap preps. I mean... I've done it for years. I've done it for years. I've made it for years on some absolute steals in the prepping world. And of course, we have a long list of free items to offer you throughout the year, or throughout the month, rather. It is October 1st, so if you don't mind, I'd like to take a sip out of my pink ghost. You see my pink ghost? See, I miss my wife. She's away. And she painted up this pink ghost about a month ago while I painted up a big jack-o'-lantern cup. And I feel like I had to wait until October 1st to really drink out of those because they were pretty Halloween-y. You know what I mean? But thanks, everybody, for tuning in. The Common Sense Practical Prepper over there at X, follow him. Watch or listen rather to his podcast. He does great work over there. Good friend. I could go on and on, but I don't want to. For fear of OPSEC, I'm throwing a link into Twitter here. I'm sorry, no, into Instagram here for a headlamp that we're going to talk about today. It's a headlamp two pack. That cost me all of $ 12. 95 on sale. And if you're doing the math, that's $ 6 per. And when you see it, you won't believe it. But I guess what we should do first is we should get into the free. So for show one, we should probably talk about the fact that these are going to be short shows. These aren't going to be 20-minute, 30-minute operations. Most of them are going to be with me. I probably will bring some of our hosts and maybe other preppers, like Keith himself, to talk about some of their favorite cheap preps throughout the month. But I don't even necessarily have to. I've got so much information on cheap and free stuff. We've got so much free stuff to offer you, to give you, that, yeah, I mean, we've got enough to knock them out of the park, okay? Today's freebie is... a super special one to me. You're going to see a recurring theme here because I can only give away so much free stuff, but a lot of what I can give away are books that I've written. I want to introduce you all to The World of Ready. The World of Ready is a children's book that I wrote and had illustrated by a wonderful woman named Alicia. What this book is is a journey Based around preparedness. And that journey happens in every book in the series. So in every book in the series, the children and the children change in every book also. The children in the book are presented with some kind of issue. In this case, it's a wildfire. They overhear mom and dad talking about a wildfire. I don't remember it actually. One night when Mallory and Conrad were supposed to be asleep, they snuck to the steps. They snuck like ninjas to listen to mom and dad. The wildfires are getting close. We need to be ready for evacuation. They heard the words and were very scared. Yes, I'm reading you a kid's book, man. Here's the deal about the kid's book, though. It's called The World of Ready. If you go to Amazon.com right now and search The World of Ready... The ebook is 100% free and will be free for five days. Okay. The book will be free for five days. Feel free to get it, download it. The best part about the story. So if it resonates with your kids, the best part about the story is that in the back, there's a little, uh, how to checklist for building a go bag with your child. And obviously you can do what you want with it. Um, you can add to it or take away from it, whatever you want to do, but Today, the freebie is The World of Ready. Get your hands on the e-book, 100% free at Amazon right now. And like I said, that offer will be through the next five days. Enjoy it, man. And there's another one. There's a second one about camping you can get while you're over there if you're interested. But that is my free prep for the day. And let's get into the deal. Let me show you this headlamp deal because it's sweet, man. So we're going on a camping trip with the kids' school, which should be pretty fun. I want to show you this name first and foremost. Did you know that these companies, the reason you see these weird names on Amazon, Blukar, B-L-U-K-A-R is the name. If you're over there at Instagram, you can use the link. If you're on rumble, you can use the link. If you're listening to the audio podcast later today, the link is also down in the description. Uh, here's a heads up. If you use the link, I'll get paid probably about a nickel, maybe less. Uh, I'm always going to give you Amazon affiliate links with this series. Um, but the percentage is so low and we're doing cheap prep. So it's, I don't know if it's going to make a difference, but whatever. Okay. It's a deal for you. It's a little bit of pennies in the coffers for me. Every bit helps when you're an entrepreneur, trust me. But the reason they make these names, these blooker and these weird names you see on stuff is because you can't have a replicated name or a duplicate name product on Amazon. So that's what they do. Now, I want you to see this thing, man. This is a world that I've been in for a while, okay? This world of headlamps. And one of the big reasons is because I prefer headlamps over flashlights almost 100% of the time. You know what I mean? And like I said, if we're in a tactical fantasy, that's a different story. But for most people, in most cases, that tactical fantasy is just that. It's a fantasy. But then again, it's a fantasy until it becomes a reality and you're rolling through your house with a flashlight on the end of your shotgun, right? And you don't want a big bright light on your head that someone can just aim at. So I understand that angle. But all that said, man, the world of headlamps is fun because it's cheap and because it's highly effective. And you could throw a headlamp on anyone no matter what their age is. And they can't drop it. They can't lose it. At the very least, you know, if they get tired of wearing it around their head, you just tell them slip it down on the neck, right? Slip it down on the neck, and then you can't lose it. It's the other beautiful thing about them. So I don't know how much we can show this thing off because I don't want to blind the whole camera. But it's got two buttons up top. It's got a power on, power off, and then a different sort of radiant light. But the power on, power off does a few things, right? If you do a quick press, it turns both lights on. So there's a, what is it? We've got a single sort of magnified LED and then a smaller collection of LEDs, right? So that's your power and then your immediate double press on the power. You get both lights. It's a lot of light, man. Then you can get a red light and then you can get a, don't want to give anybody a seizure. You can also rifle through, whoa, check that out. You can also rifle through them with this other button on sort of an instant. But to get that red light, you have to use the right button press, okay? But that's what you got. You got three modes of power. You've got a single light, each one that gets a single, and then you've got the double power. And then you've got the red lights also with the red light flashing. The other beautiful thing about this guy, which is a key to preps for me and has been for probably 10 years, this is a rechargeable headlamp. This is not a battery-powered headlamp. And those types of things I love. The expensive flashlights that I depend on are always rechargeable. Ever since I inspected warehouses for a living in food distribution centers, I would do rechargeable lights. I did it for my employer. Right. I did it from the from sort of the long term thinking for my employer. I was like, do I want to buy a case of batteries every year or every other whatever, six months, whatever, because I inspected large warehouses every month. Or do I want to buy a rechargeable flashlight that probably costs the same as a good flashlight, maybe 10 bucks more. And now I can recharge it. Kind of made sense, right? Plus, the world lends itself to this way more than it lends itself to batteries, right? If you're in a situation where there's no power, you're in a disaster, you're in an emergency. you have your bug-out bag on your back or your go-bag or your get-home bag, you'll probably have several ways to charge this. You can happen upon several ways to charge this, right? When's the last time you happened on three AAA batteries out of nowhere? You know what I mean? I have headlamps that work on three AAAs, and I have headlamps that charge. And like I said, this guy, $ 12 for two. Okay, $ 12 for two. I'm telling you right now, if you don't know about this world, if you don't go into this world of discount preps, then you may not know about it. You truly may not know about it. For the last 10, 12 years of my life, a lot of times out of necessity, I do my research and I buy preps that were either on heavy, hard sale or were cheaper. And I found, well, you know, you go both ways, right? You always hear people say that buy once, cry once. Sometimes it applies. But you can also buy once and not cry and be really happy. Right? I've got headlamps, guys. Dirt cheap headlamps that have been in the... I mean... What's happening to the headlamp is the bands are coming off, right? The bands have been worn out. The plastic piece here, yeah, the plastic piece here on some of them is breaking. But the headlamp itself, nothing. No, not a problem. These are the things I look for. These are the things I want to talk about this month. You know what I mean? I want to talk about each day a... A prep that is cheap? Because look, the holiday season's coming. I understand the pressure, dude. I understand the pressure 100%, right? You're in this situation where, okay, holidays are coming. The world is ending. We got anthropic guys coming up on the TV saying, yeah, we might kill each other off with AI. Gas is crazy, right? And the midterms are coming. And listen, Don't let the midterms be a dark horse for preparedness. You should be prepping for the midterms, especially if you're in a city. If you're in a city or a highly densely populated area, you should be prepping for the midterms, man. People could go nuts. Every one of these elections is a microcosm, right? So you just got to be aware of that. And the reason I decided to do this all through the month of October was just thinking about people, was thinking like, great, I got to get prepared. James had some great guests on last month, and a lot of them had products that I couldn't afford. And you get yourself in that sort of situation where you're like, okay. So, you know, good, but I can't afford... Hey, how about another freebie? I'm going to put this freebie up all the time. Oh, no, did I delete it? Did I delete that? No, I didn't. Good. Let's change the background real quick, and I'll drop off of here. But this is a freebie that exists... right now an infinitum. Okay. This is our be prepared solutions partner, be prepared solutions.co. This is our partner, uh, our really our sort of our tech, uh, I don't know, man, sidekick. I mean, they've done some amazing stuff for us. So be prepared solutions.co slash partner slash PBN, or you could just go to be prepared solutions.co and start a free three day trial, right? The reason you go to slash partner slash PBN is, uh, It makes us look better. And then, you know, if you sign up, you get 20% off. Right. And for the year that puts you like under 200 bucks for the great that you guys have seen the dashboard on here. You know what that's all about. But you can run a dashboard. You can run an emergency plan in in those free three days. So go check them out. They're a great group of guys, man. You know, I wouldn't be sitting here opining for them. Actually, I wouldn't even be doing business with them if they weren't a great group of guys. But they know their stuff. They are the real deal. And that's important to me. That's important to me. So before we get the world of ready, the world of ready is ready for you and yours. If you got kids, you don't know how to broach the topic of preparedness. This is like a what is it? A twenty nine page book, something like that. It's a small book. It's a small book. It's super colorful, man. You know what I mean? The whole goal was just that. Let's get a fantastic and magical world where kids can travel to when they're afraid and learn about preparedness from this guy. Wait, this guy. Uta. Uta. Meet Uta. He's the man who was named after the Uta loop. But I thought he'd be a great little character to teach kids about preparedness, man. So that book's 100% free at Amazon.com. Go to Amazon and search The World of Ready. And that e-book is free. You can download it today. Tell everybody, you know what I mean, who has kids, who's interested in this kind of stuff. Tell teachers if you know teachers. It's a great book to read to kids. You know, talk about how to build a go bag, what a go bag is. This is not 2020. This is not 2010. This is not 2005 anymore. Preparedness is a mainstream topic, thank God. I put a post up on Instagram yesterday and it said, we used to prep for what if, now we prep for what is. I'll leave you with that. Thank you guys for joining us. Tune in tomorrow. We'll be back with another free prep and another dirt cheap prep for you every single day this month. Spread the word. Let people know. and visit PrepperBroadcasting.com, folks. Listen to all the great podcasts. We're not really necessarily trying to be the one-stop shop for all things preparedness. We're just giving you our flavor and how we do it, okay? If you're in Instagram, hit that headlamp link. That'll take you right to the deal for the Bluker and this incredible thing right here that I'm very excited about because we're going to put it under pressure this weekend. And in fact, the only problem I have with this thing after playing with it last night was it may be too bright. I know that's silly, but it may actually be too bright. It's insanely powerful. And this is the world that's out there. $ 6 headlamp, too damn bright. You know what I mean? Gone are the days of the $ 129 flashlight that's a thousand lumens or whatever. Don't You don't need that. All right. I'll talk to you guys soon. I appreciate you. Check out this great ad for the Prepper's Medical Handbook if you're watching the video. Otherwise, I'll see you tomorrow.
