Let's I haven't even aside from looking at the cover of the Epic Times, I don't know who's in it, what's happening. These guys are not a sponsor. But I will tell you like phenomenal investment of your money. It's like fifty bucks for three months or something like that, and you get a newspaper every week. I can't like express how nice it is to sit down with a newspaper and just you know, think and read. I don't know, maybe it's not your thing, Maybe it is. You know. I'm in a weird mindset lately where I'm I'm starting to wonder how much alike I am to other people, or if I've surrounded myself with an echo chamber of cool people and other people just aren't really that into the things that we're into. But there's quite a few of you out there listening and watching, so I guess I should give that you know what it deserves. Let me open the chat real quick. When I'm set up this way. As you can see, I have what's a firewolf? How you doing? Man? No grifting for the paper? It is great, but they don't pay me yet. I somewhere down the Commander's list is a necessary email article pitch to the Epic Time So there could come a time. There most likely will come a time where I'm telling you, oh, you got to get your issue with the Epic tizes because my articles in it that could definitely happen. Pretty interesting story, really really good cover news stuff. Actually astronomers tracking unexplained spike in meteor events. Oh my god, the whole front of this page is great. How Beijing is quietly supporting the Iran Iran in the war effort. And then America's power grid is hostage to one component transformer event. Let's do that first. America's power grid transformer availability has been problematic for years. Electric electricity demand surges, but America's power grid infrastructure is between forty and one hundred years old. So for all you young kids on out there, as you can see this article that we're reading, it says continued on A four. Can you see that continued on A four? This main section of the newspaper is a and then you go to page four huntavirus shit out of here? Uh, And then we find our one component shortage holds Americas. But yeah, we know, I mean the prep Look, the prepping community knows, right, we know about this. We know what the deal is with the transformers, and they're made in China, and it'll take X amount of time, and you know the whole thing. As of July twenty twenty five, I see a f International announced use Electricity man projects twenty five percent growth by twenty thirty that's huge, and seventy eight percent growth by twenty fifty Holy Macro. During covid IT, Panama transform manufacturing suffered extreme supply chain disruptions. As of June twenty twenty four, and the nai C stated that the weight for transformers has been between two and four years. Some energy experts have predicted the wait times four transformers will not change anytime soon. Are they still all made in China or have we done something about it? Trump stated that the aging and constrained electrical good grid. Here's the problem, right, All the rich lizards are going to build their own power plans for their AI factories. I wonder if they're even going to care about our power grid anymore. Ah, it goes down if he dies. He dies, It doesn't say and at the Epic Times hates China, so I'm surprised that it doesn't say here. The department is currently working on grid related investments, including a one point nine billion funding opportunity for transmission upgrades that was announced in March. Most transformers are bespoke to their application. Oh a flexible transformer where a single design can be used in multiple applications as an emerging technology that shows promised. Yeah, you gotta have that. You gotta have that. That seems like you know so yeah, this is a long known thing in the prepping community. You know, people who think that prepping is like people who stocks pile things and worry. It's so deep, do you know what? I like? The core knowledge of the average prepper is deep. Man at Epic News, how do we tag them every time you read it? Oh? I guess that. Thanks Firewolf at Epic News good to know who knew got some videos of the UAPs. The Pentagon released his first batch of UFO files. I don't know what'd you guys think about the UFOs. I don't really talked to you about it much, not the NBC guy. I didn't really talk to you guys about the Pentagon UFO thing that much because it didn't really do much for me. Did you feel like it was anything? Nothing? Burger CCP police outpost operators spent years currying officials favor. Imagine that less than eleven percent of new truck of god, this is state level collapse. Okay, remember we were talking about state level collapse yesterday. Less than eleven percent of new construction in urban areas report fines nationwide. The median listing price for new urban homes is this is the median price, dude, What are they building these things out of? Nationwide? The median listing price for new urban homes is seven hundred and thirty eight thousand dollars six hundred and sixty two dollars. I could even go get my son here soon, I forgot, compared to four to fourteen for existing homes. Land search data show the average land price eighteen thousand per acre, eighteen thousand dollars an acre average. It's like like America's like all the sudden tiny there's no land anywhere. Thousand dollars an acres. Insane. Dude. Yeah, this is a beautiful spread, Okay, No AI, just a beautiful spread printed on paper, gorgeous. This is what I'm trying to tell you. As we lose our soul to AI, the paper will fortify it. I'm telling you right now. Actually, I don't think AI is uh. I don't know. I read something real interesting today. I didn't I didn't do the research. It was a headline, you know, grab off of Instagram or something. I don't remember exactly where it was, but I read that the uber ai budget has been blown out already for twenty twenty six, and that they think that it might be cheaper to use people. Astronomers tracking unexplained spike in meteor events crashing through the Earth's atmosphere at forty five thousand miles per hour, shooting stars have been spotted twice as off in this spring, marking an unusually active fireball season that astronomers can't explain they are cool though, Man, they are beautiful to see. So is it? What's the issue? What is a fireball? You know? Is the spike and anomaly, Hanky noted. Hanky noted that as more and more data are collected over the years, the recent seemingly random spike in spraatic fireballs may turn out to be not so random. He pointed out another spike in large twenty twenty one, although the number was still less than this year's thirty. If we see the same spike in twenty thirty one, it means that it's a long way to wait five more years. But that might say something so like every ten years we passed through some meteors. Who knows, you know? I always look at meteors when I see a bunch of meteor activity. I always think like something's coming, something bigger is coming. I don't know why. How China is quietly supporting Iran's war effort. Intelligence, satellite navigation, electronic warfare maybe among the most important means of support China can provide without exchanging weapons. I think we know about this already. Again, it's Firewolf in chat says the AI Atlas three mothership dropped off the babies question mark, I'm ready, Are you ready? I mean, nothing unites people like a common enemy. So if the aliens do come and want to dance, want to do the dance'd be great for the people of the planet, especially if they were like soft and mushy like us. I've long suspected that we are the greatest killer in the universe. I think that's true. I'm wondering even if you know, I'd be very surprised if you look at our history. The United States spent a prossy twenty nine billion on the war against Iran so far, according to the Pentagon, so that's probably double that. Oh, I like this. The Critical Medicines Act is Europe's essential safety belt. Tho's a good I mean, that's good to see Europe making a move that makes sense. Right, So they're using satellite imagery and intelligence support we heard about this, or helping them, you know, target our stuff, which they're not doing a very good job at. That's a Trump line, by the way, I didn't make that up. But missile inputs in solid fuel production. Some concerns center on China's role in supplying industrial materials and technologies essential to Iran's production missile production China after Israel destroyed purchases of planetary mixers from China after Israel destroyed much of Tehran's solid fuel missile production infrastructure during the Twelve Day War in June twenty twenty five. While China was a major supplier of the conventional weapons to Iran in the eighties, bilateral cooperation shifted. This type of support reflects a broader strategic pattern in China supply to the supply line to Iran. So do you think China's getting oil from another means? Because why? Right, what's the benefit of them keeping this war going? What's the benefit? Why would they help Iran? Oh? Look, corruption in Ukraine huh Zolenski's former chief of staff named as graft suspect. Yeah, of course, US accuses you An agencies are pushing mass migration. We know that happened. That's a fact. All right, let's get out of headline news. I think I can hang with you guys for like another fifteen ten something like that. The beautiful and talented epic times. It's a gorgeous day to day. Man, Today is the day like ninety six or something like that. What's it gonna be. It's gonna be a gorgeous one. Do you mind if I plan on my cell phone on the live stream. It's like the most annoying thing of all I ran yesterday was it was ninety seven today. Oh my god, Oh yeah, it's tired day. It's a day for the suffering. There's no doubt about it. It's a day for the suffering. Ninety seven degrees today and tomorrow. Last night it was Monday, and I took my wife fishing and she caught her personal best small mouth bass and it was a beauty. Oh my god, it was a beauty. The whole thing was beautiful to watch. You know, she gets in that mind frame where she's I didn't catch shit. I'm just sitting there watching her catch fish left and right. And she gets in that mindset where she's like, oh, I want you to catch something. I feel bad. I think we're just sitting there watching. You know, I don't know, guys get it. Maybe girls don't get it. But you sit there and watch your wife or your kids catch fish over and over again, having a ball. It's like and me, I've been fishing, don't forget since I'm eight and probably before that, but at least like week and every weekend since I'm eight fishing. So it's beautiful to see, you know, take a you know what do you what should I put on? Put this on? They put it on, They cast over there, they catch a big giant fish. I mean, I don't know. It's a beautiful thing. Low vitamin D linked to UH in mid life, linked to brain changes decades later, you have vitamin D in the sun. Man. You know, there are things in this life that are kind of uncompromising, like especially with aging. Right, it's like the creatine. I started taking the creatine. I might got my dad on creatine now. And uh, you know there's like a concern about like your hair falling out and stuff and like get your get your priorities in order, you know what I mean, Like you can shave your head, Like if my all my hair falls out and shave my head. Do I want a beautiful head of hair with a failing body, you know what I mean? Like the the elbows going out, the back's broken. I got a high blood preper. Whatever the situation is, creatine will help you work out. It will help you work out longer, and it will help you recover. I don't know what to do and every and here's the beautiful thing about creatine too. Everything that your muscles don't uptake goes to your brain and gives you energy in your brain. Do you want energy in your brain? Do you You know what I mean? That's the whole reason I gave my dad. My dad's not over at his house deadlifting for reps. You know what I mean. It's like he's, uh, he's old, and he's an older guy, and and all that creatine that his body doesn't use boom, goes right up to the brain, powers up to the brain, and uh, that's what you need at that age. I'm gonna be killing creatine for the rest of my life. I could have one hair coming out the side of my head. I will be hidding the creatine hard from now until the grave. The omega threes hard now until I don't care what they say. The sunlight, Remember the sunlight. Oh, you can't go in the sun you'll get wrinkly. Who the fuck cares? Seriously, who cares? I mean, if you're married, not married with you know who cares? The health span is all okay? Cause you don't. I mean, I don't want to go down that path. But vitamin D is a big one, immune system hormones like uh, depression, all of these things. It comes out of the sky, There's a ton of it. It's on the leaves, it's on the ground out there. Vitamin D is everywhere. To be low in vitamin D actually takes a concerted effort, Like you have to sabotage you your life. You have to take serious pride. You need a routine in which you can avoid the sun and sabotage yourself in such a way that you're low invitamin D. And most people are think about that. I don't know. I don't know what to tell you. My personal view is I'd rather be wrinkly and bald and feel the way I feel right now than the opposite. Wake up every day and flame to feel like crap, can't do nothing, but my skin is clear and my hair is luxurious. Priorities, man, everything is priorities in life? Is uh? Is k rubichik in this month for me Or's girl with the Pearl earring? Awesome? William Brooks understanding, Understanding Gilligans? Why do I think firewill forged ears perked up at the sound of an article in the Epic Times that is called Understanding Gilligan's Island. That just I don't know why the science of manipulation? Why good people follow orders to do bad things? Lincoln the poet? Okay, American president who loved verse. Let's see what Lincoln read. Let's see what Lincoln read? Who did Lincoln read? What do you think on the poetry side? Thank you mar No, Thank you Marlena fhig. I think that's pronounced fig figge. Thank you Marlena fig for an interesting article. Among the many interesting facts about Abraham Lincoln that he was the only president to hold a patent for a device for lifting boats over shoals. He was an accomplished wrestler and was honored in the Wrestling Hall of Fame. Who knew? That's why people listen to him, because they knew he just pressed their body into the ground and smashed their face with his big, giant, thirty thousand feet tall frame. This is all aboarre surprising given that, oh oh, at the age of twenty five, he was elected local government. There is little known the little known fact that Lincoln also wrote and loved poetry. Continued on C. Two. This is the sea section not that kind of sea section. Oh look at the girl with the pearl earring. Isn't that amazing? Man? God, that's amazing. This is art, by the way, this is what we used to do. Somebody so idolized this girl with the pearl earring that they sat down and they painted this, painted this by hand. There was no like art book to refer to. This was created in sixteen sixty five. There weren't even phote. He couldn't even look use a photo. The light is in her eyeballs, shining on her earrings. Amazing, dude, I mean, but it's what we're supposed to be doing, by the way. Unbelievable. Lincoln said his early life was the best in caps was best in capsulated by the final line of the eighth Standa from Standia from Thomas Stanza, What the hell from Thomas Gray's elegy in a country Churchyard. I've never read it. Let not ambition mock their useful toil, their homely joys and destiny, obscure nor grandeur here with a disdainful smile, not bet The line speak to a childhood marked by hard work, poverty, suffering, as Lincoln lost his mother when he was nine, and his sister ten years old or ten years later, rather the family move from Indiana Illinois. That'll uh, that'll make you depressed nowadays that part of the country is within itself and unpoetical, as unpoetical as any spot on the earth. But still seeing it and its objects and inhabitants aroused feelings in me which were certainly poetry. The whether my expression of those feelings is poetry is quite another question. He enclosed in the letter the first of four cantos of a poem called My Childhood Home I See Again, which Johnston later published, and an honesty under the title The Return Aunt Andrew Johnston My Childhood's Home I See Again and sadden with the view man. That's yeah, and still as memory crowds my brain, there's pleasure in it too, oh, Memory down midway world TwixT earth and paradise, where things decayed and loved ones lost in dreamy shadows rise and freed from all that's earthly, vile, seem hollow, pure and bright like scenes in some enchanted asle all bathed in liquid light, not bad as dusky mountains pleased the eye when twilight chased day as bugle notes that passing by and distance die away. Near twenty years have passed away. Since here, I bid farewell to woods and fields and scenes of play and playmates loved so well. I range the fields with pensive tread, and pace the hollow rooms and feel companion of the dead. I'm living in the tombs. That's life, baby well Marlena. She received her MA and Italian literature from Middlebury College in twenty twenty one. Graduated from the University of Dallas in twenty twenty. God bless you. I'm sure that was an adventure. She currently has a teaching fellowship and teachers English at high school in Italy. It's an awesome artist's a lot more poetry to read, but I don't want to. I don't want to bore you to death. With all that, I think I got a roll, folks. I do appreciate you. Thank you so much for everything. Guys, I hope you enjoyed us. Reading and riffing the newspaper is essential, you know, if you feel like you're missing something in your life, definitely give the newspaper try. I don't care if you do epic times or what. Like I said, I'm not invested in it whatsoever. It's just it's a thing, man, It's a thing. It's a thing that we get. You know, there's so many things you look back. I call it the one hundred year amnesia. You look back, you see we lost things. But you can go back and you can grab those things, you know. I hear Pizza Hut, by the way, is bringing the red cups back in the name of going back and grabbing things. So you know, it's your call. It's your call. But when all the world has a hold of your brain, man, and is squeezing it and forcing its blue lights into your eyes, you can take the newspaper out back and just read. You can take it up to the bedroom and read alone, quietly on the front porch with dinner. Right. It's beautiful, man. And the other beautiful thing about it, And I've mentioned this before is how personal it feels. Marlena fig wrote that article, and she has a life, and she has a background, and she has of this, and she has of that, and that humanity is lost on the internet. Name the last author you read on the internet. Of all the articles that you look and read that big bold headline and read a few lines about this and about that name, the last author that you read that you feel like you knew on the internet. It's all dehumanization, baby. I will see you guys soon. Please visit Upper Broadcasting dot com, share it, spread the word man. Every listen counts for us these days, really and UH support our great sponsors. All right, talk to you soon. H
