Welcome to Red Beacon Daily News, Ladies and gentlemen, June twenty four, twenty twenty six, brought to you by Disastercoffee dot Com. Disastercoffee dot Com is fueling Redbeacon Daily News Today, Escape New York if you know what's good for you. Mamdani backed candidates when New York House primaries. This from The Epic Times twenty twenty six midterms. All three Mamdani endorsed candidates, a progressive and two Democratic socialists, won their primaries against more established Democrats. All three Mamdani candidates endorsed by the New York City Mayor Zorhan the Sultan Mamdani, won their closely watched House primary races on Tuesday, handling the Democratic Socialist victory. In his bid to move his party more to the left. In the race to succeed retiring Rep. Nidia Velasquez, Mandonni endorsed Assembly Member Claire Valdez, a self described Democratic Socialist, beat Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, who was backed by Velasquez. Mandnnie's endorsement had put him at odds with the other prominent New York Democrats. New York Governor Pathy Hochel endorsed espe Lot and campaigned alongside Goldman. Oh, this is a big one because the PhD student Chevalier what's her first name? In an upset PhD student and community organizer, Chevalier beat out fellow Dominican congressman Espelata district, which includes Harlem parts of the Bronx, has been represented by spa Lot since twenty seventeen. Chevalier is what's her name? Ava? What is it? Why don't they have it in here? Avila, Avila, Avilla Chevalier. It's a beautiful name. It's a beautiful name for a monster. Chevalier received significant boost when mom Donnie announced his support for her candidacy in late May. Even so, in a debate just days before the primary, Chevalier face pointed questions about past Twitter posts in which she attacked major Democratic Party leaders, including President Joe Biden, who she called racist, as well as cursing former President of Kamala Harris as a an explicative disgrace. I agree with her. Chevalier has been outspoken against Israel, criticizing Espilett for accepting funds from the American APAC. Doesn't talk about what she said about her hands being dirty and her wiping them on the American flag because you didn't have a napkin. This is the core of our problem in the United States right now. There is no patriotism, there is no assimilation, there is no love for the United States. And many of these candidates and they're ushering them off. You know, some of these people are going to be representing New Yorkers in Senate, right You're gonna be seated in Congress as a representative of you. Now, you do Yorkers out there listening, do you feel like someone who wipes their hands on the American flag is representative of you? Someone who clearly has an anti American worldview. There are many aberquass You have to hear about aberquois. I'm gonna talk about this more on a show on PBM later today. We're gonna go over all of these candidates because you have to know, you have to know these people are going to Congress or have the they have the potential to go to Congress. And they're in New York, you know what I mean. So when you win a Democratic primary in New York, it's a good chance you headed the Congress. Baby, So in other words. These people are gonna be lawmakers. And when you hear Aberquos's comments on nine to eleven, you're not gonna believe your this is New York, You're not gonna believe what you hear. So suffice it to say, if you can escape New York, now is the time. It's gonna be a bit of a downer show. It looks like, oh, maybe not so much. We're gonna end with America. I hear America singing. But first we've got to look at sixteen companies. Sixteen companies that are being open and transparent about handing real human jobs to artificial intelligence. Is your AI assisted here, we've got a bit of a good news situation. Sixteen companies that have said they're doing AI related layoffs. It's a lot. What's Jack Dorsey up here? For the picture of Jack Dorsey. He doesn't do anything, does he? Companies like snap Block and Wicks cited as AI stated AI as a factor in recent layoffs. It's sort of like the weird you don't have to worry about it, but you do have to worry about it type of deal. March report from career transition firm Challenger Gray and Christmas found that so far this year, AI has been cited in eight percent of job cut plans. Amid this rat of layoffs, some have asked whether AI is replacing so many roles once held by humans, or whether some degree of AI washing is at work. Open AI sam Altman said some companies are blaming AI for layoffs that would have happened regardless. I could see that. I could. I don't feel good about it, but I could see it right. Angie's List reviews You Can Trust cutting three hundred and fifty jobs in part because of AI efficiency. Literally, the like Howard by Real Human Interaction at Lassian announced cuts of sixteen hundred jobs in Mird. It's a lot of jobs for a company I've never heard of, totaling about ten percent of his global workforce. The move comes as Australian American software company says it's restructuring to focus on AI and enterprise growth. Block Apparently Jack Dorsey's the CEO of something called Block. I had no idea billionaire in Block. It could be a Jack Dorsey is a billionaire. Can you believe that he created Twitter? Winter? Hell on Earth made him a billionaire? I don't even know if it makes money. Now, I have no idea how how X makes money. None billionaire in Block CEO Jack Dorsey said he was slashing nearly half of Block's workforce, cutting its over ten thousand person staff to under six. The move came as he said business was strong in profits were growing, but the new way of working was emerging. Sorry, I'm a billionaire, Gotta cut, gotta cut. Cisco said it would cut fewer than four thousand jobs. Cloud Flare announced May seventh, slashing eleven hundred rolls. Coinbase buy your crypto and then, uh will fire all of our workers, letting go seven hundred workers fourteen percent of its work for is crypto dot com twelve percent of its staff. Now, how do you guy crypto owners out there feel about crypto companies employing artificial intelligence, the same technology that will eventually hack your crypto wallets and steal your money. I mean, that's that's going to happen. That's a foregone conclusion. If you think that your cryptocurrency is safe, If your cryptocurrency remains safe, I mean, good on you. But I think what that would mean is you, uh, you know, you basically got lucky, right, You were looked over sort of like bank hacking nowadays, right, HP four thousand to six thousand jobs, IBM hundreds of human resources. Oh, hundreds of human resource employees. Well that's okay, human resource bullshit anyway, Oracles said in June twenty two, filing AI is contributing to the workforce or go report at one hundred and forty one thousand employees as of May thirty first, but the head count fell by roughly twenty one thousand employees. It's a lot of people. It starts adding up, starts adding up. So what is what it is? Folks? But for today, for Red Beacon Daily News, today, we uh, we've got to go to Walt. We've got to go to Walt Whitman. I grew up with Walt Whitman. You know, yeah, right down the street from me. If the Walt Whitman Bridge took you right over to Jersey, right over to get the good tomatoes, right over to Atlantic City, if you wanted to go gamble right over to the beach there. Yeah, the Walt Whitman Bridge, the Whitman Bridge. Hard to believe. I hear America singing by Walt Whitman. I hear America singing the varied carols. I hear those of mechanics, each one singing his as it should be, blithe and strong. The carpenters singing his as he measures his or beam. The mason singing his as he makes ready for work or leaves off for work. The boatman singing what belongs to him in his boat. The deckhand singing on the steamboat deck. The shoemaker singing as he sits on his bench, the hatter singing as he stands. The woodcutter's song, the plowboys on his way in the morning or at noon inter mission or at sundown. The delicious singing of the mother, or of the young wife at work, or of the girl sewing or washing, each singing what belongs to him or her and to none else the day, what belongs to the day. At night, the party of young fellows, robust, friendly singing with open mouths, their strong, melodious songs. Thank you for joining us today, folks on red Beak in daily News, I do appreciate you, and uh stay tuned for much more, and look for that poem. Yet A really good thing
