Red Beacon Daily News, July seventeenth, twenty twenty six, Coming to you from Code Red, Richmond, Virginia, in the haze of the Minnesota wildfires. Minnesota Canadian wildfires that are have brought their smoke all the way down here into Richmond, Virginia. And it's visible, it's tangible. There's a taste and a scent in the air, and it's a real thing. And it's the top story today at Red Beacon Daily News. I want to look at it all. I want to talk about these wildfires because there's a lot of speculation, a lot of spiraling. You know, how to start, Why to start? What is it? Is it different? Is it new? Is it strange? The direction of the wind at the very least is different. Right, we live in two worlds anymore. It feels like what do you see with your own eyes? And what do you hear? And what do you believe? Right? We don't believe our senses as much as we used to. It's a shame. It's a shame. Canada's twenty twenty six wildfire season includes fires sparked by lightning, human activity, and ongoing dry conditions across multiple provinces Canada. Reported eight hundred and fifty nine active wildfires, thirty five hundred and forty seven fires this year, and roughly two point three eight million hectares burned so far this year. How did the fire start? Some Canadian wildfires were sparked by lightning, while others caused by human activity remain under investigation. Now, this is important, this is important. Was it started because of climate? Well, listen to this. Of the twenty eight new fires reported July sixteenth, Canada classified fifteen of the twenty eight as human cost, eight as natural, and five is undetermined. And then you're asking yourself, you know, what's going on with the wildfires? Why are there's so many wildfires in Canada? Officials are citing drought conditions and lightning activity. Ontario reported dozens of new wildfires starts, most caused by lightning. Multiple provinces are dealing with active fires at the same time. You look at the map of how much of Canada's on fire. It's kind of crazy Canada is reported. Now here's the real hard data, right, thirty five hundred wildfires so far in twenty twenty six, a total that is in line largely with historical averages. Right, So why the smoke here? Smoke's never been here like this before in Richmond, in the northeast. I mean it has been in recent past, but not you know. More importantly, what's the average? Right We're at thirty five hundred wildfires so far in twenty twenty six. There's a there's a bee here trying to sting me. You come out to it, don't you. I thought you guys didn't like smoke. Canada's five year average is three five hundred and thirty seven fires by this point in the season, so you know, we're right here, compared with three thousand and four and eighty four reported through July fifteenth. However, hundreds of fires remain active across the country, including eight fifty nine eight hundred and fifty nine active wildfires reported. Sorry, it's a busy morning. President Donald Trump, in a primetime address on July sixteenth, announced the declassification of information that he said reveals large scale Chinese hacking of the American voter information over a period of years. Quote started during twenty twenty election cycle, the People's Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history, resulting in China's illicit acquisition of two hundred and twenty million US voter files. He said that information includes names, addresses for a numbers, political party preferences. You probably got it from TikTok. If I had to guess, I'm gonna have to mute the chat here we're not gonna be able to do this show. Ah, there we go. That should mute the dings for a bit. The information includes an accompanying transparency poort from the White House stated China gain access to the voter data role across eighteen states. One to classified document reviewed by The Epic Times detail the PRC linked actors alleged use of commercial websites to acquire voter data from six US states. Trump further said that the members of the intelligence community sought to suppress data on China's attempt to influence America's elections. No, really, I mean, let's be honest, what does that make them? Right? That is something. These disclosures reveal election systems so broken and so vulnerable that no one could possibly defend it. Yet those responsible surrounds so sounding the alarm instead kept the information secret and hidden. There's a lot here, folks.
