Surviving America 80: Playing Nuclear Day

Society in every state is a blessing. A governmental even in its best state, is but a necessary evil. The future has already your mind. So much for video game night at the at the Prepper Broadcasting Network. What is up, everybody? It is the eightieth episode of Surviving America. We just got done with the video stuff. I don't know. I thought i'd play a little video. I hope the whole thing wasn't terrible like that. I didn't even think about the lag. But there's people out here watching still, so it must not have been too bad until that second one, until that second active shooter kicked in. Hey, look, throw out your life straw. When I first started playing virtual reality back in twenty twenty, I thought how fun it would be to have a video game where you can run from drones that are thermal you know, thermal vision the whole nine yards, and I thought maybe I'd make it, or maybe someone would make it, or if you're listening, make it. It'd be cool. But what I just said that out loud? I started thinking, Man, the availability of drones nowadays, maybe it'd be better to just go do it drone. Wow, that would be fun. Man, who's my guy? I do have a guy I know exactly who to call. Would you guys want to do that? Would you get the listeners of the Prepper Broadcasting network in the North Carolina area, or you know, can get to North Carolina? Would you be interested in running from drones for fun? A bit of a bit of prepper LARPing as it goes? Right? Can you beat the thermals? Can you beat the tracking capability? I know a guy who's big into drones in that area. It'd probably be pretty fun. It would be fun. Death from above? What will we call it? The Angel of Death? I don't know, but it'd be cool because it would be a dual Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, this is a dual training scenario that could be really a good time. I'm gonna have to reach out to him. He's a speaker at prepper camp every year. I'll talk to him in a couple of months. But if you want to gather together, that could be a fun time. That could be one heck of a time. We'd have a base location for him, right, or maybe not just him, maybe him and maybe a few drone operators. Or maybe it's a game where you go one for one, right, drone operation team and then the UH and then the survivors, and I guess it would be kind of a two pronged effort, right, So you would have a group of humans versus a group of humans with drones, and the humans solo will be trying to converge on this location and the humans with will be trying to see them, and then once they saw them, once you're caught. If you are caught, then maybe from there you run and hide. And we'd have to set up a certain distance to play in, right, We have to set boundaries because drones can only go so far. But maybe a small you build a small pack of things like space blankets, right, and a means to hide your thermal signature, maybe even some things to throw the drone off with that create thermal signature. It'd be pretty cool. That'd be pretty cool and then work your way back to the base. And I guess if you can get to the drone operator without the drone marking you in some way or you know, killing you, killing you. For now, we'll pretend that they'll never kill us. Now, the drones are always going to love us, and AI is always gonna love us, and it's gonna be a great life and you don't have to worry about anything. The real, probably, I mean, the real scary thing about the drone armies is just to g if you have money, you're gonna be able to buy them. I mean, I know, like drug dealers and people with lots of money buy armies anyway. You can already buy blackrock. Well, it's a very different thing when it's a mindless, senseless army of uh drone dogs with upside down AR fifteen's on them. The cataclysms that are biblical, the washing away of everything allah Noah, it's one of those things. It seems like utterly necessary after a certain point, and it's really weird that that. I mean, I guess in the limited view, well, I don't want to call it that actually, but when you think about the problem, right, you think about things like what we nuke ourselves into oblivion? Well, we we create so many robots that are then you know, mind melded with AI, and AI decides times up humanity or a I just decides there's a cap. Okay, there's a cap on humanity. And based on your performance on social media, we're going to keep those of you who have performed effectively alive and those who have that's the social credit score, right, That's the scary thing about that whole social credit score. So the social credit score we said we always were nervous about in the prepping community. We thought, like, they're gonna, you know, limit your ability to buy guns, limit your ability to buy food, limit your ability to do X, Y and Z. But the real scare is what artificial intelligence is going to do with with the with a credit score, with a human score. They look at a guy and go like, whoa man? This guy, yeah, really low on the social credit side of things. If we're trying to get the population down to one hundred thousand on the whole entire planet, we could probably do without him. Send one of those flamethrower drone dogs over to his house, knock up. I don't know maybe not, maybe not. You know one thing that happened that is very interesting, and you have to give credit where credits due is there was something of a civilian bipartisan movement, not politically but even better right like feet boots on the ground, real people do, living real life that decided like, we don't want these data centers everywhere. And you know, one of the great techniques, man, I don't know if you notice it, you should notice, you should understand it because it's going to be used against you also. But one of the great techniques nowadays is to give you a little victory, and a little victory just long enough so you can forget. It's like a sleeping pill, you know what I mean. They'll say like, oh, you know what, here's the thing. You may be right on these data centers. We're gonna take six months into a review. We're gonna review the land and the seas and the birds and the bees, and we're gonna see, right, We're gonna see if this is the right thing to do or not. But I think you're right. There are a lot of concerns. We're concerned for our citizenry. I want to make sure we're doing the right thing with all these data centers, and they give you a six month review period, and in that time, your life goes out of control and crazy, because that's six months from now. It's Christmas, the holiday season, and while you're drinking eggnog and you know, playing candy cane fishing, they're in the back room and they're like, let's sign this real quick and get this going while the loud, annoying people are busy with their Christmas. That's how it goes. Then you go, oh, damn, that data center's getting built. I thought they said they were going to review, but yeah, they did review it. You weren't paying attention. You were busy living your life, and your representative was bought and paid for. So that's it. Go say hi to the neighbors. Don't get too close though. They patrol the uh, the perimeter with robot dogs with the lasers that will blind you if you get too close. Oh man, oh man, what else, folks? What else is going on in your life? Let's put the Surviving America background on, shall we? Yeah? I don't know. It's good to be alive. What can you say? You know what I mean? But I do worry. I do worry about it. There was years ago there was a book I told everyone to get. I still have it. I think it's upstairs in my next to my bed, and it's called The poor Man's Air Force and it's all about drones as an air force option. Something to consider, definitely something to consider, folks, because uh, it's it just feels like everybody else is going to have them, do you know what I mean? It feels like everyone else is going to have them, so we might as well have them. You can buy drones by the swarm now. I don't know if you know that, like swarm droning drones, swarming technology for sale. It's going fast, it's going real facts. Yeah, I don't know these things. What's most interesting to me is that these things are happening with war and drones in AI. And you know, if you want to know, like the capability, if you really want to see what, if you really want to peek into the future, then just watch the drone footage in Ukraine and Russia. That is the future, you know what I mean? And if you think I get, what scares me is when people hang up the guns, you know, guns for the long time of the public enemy number one, right, guns and guns. Gotta get the guns out of public places, got to get the guns out of schools. Got to get the guns guns, guns, guns, guns. Don't let anybody carry a gun. Don't let anybody say the word gun. Don't let little kids put their fingers like this because that's almost like a gun, right, and that's too scary. You imagine my kid running around the neighborhood, I mean running around the school yard like shooting at each other like this. Can't do that, that's do it looks like a gun. Scary about stick guns guns, sticks that look just like guns, Well, you can't do that. That's scary. Guns are evil, dangerous, terrible. I'm afraid of when we hang the guns up and we go. I don't need the guns, no more drive by shooting for what His flight is drone into that guy's window. Boom, you even need that, even need ammunition. His flight is drone into somebody's window or house or backyard, gathering and spray them with a combination of I guess I shouldn't say the chemicals out loud, but you know a combination combination of chemicals that rapidly turns into poison and that's the end of that. Or do we just love guns so much? You know, I certainly wouldn't hang up the gun just because I had a drone that could shoot. But I'm talking about people who are nefarious, right, people who want to kill with the idea of killing murderers. I mean, it's called murderers, right. Can we call people murderers anymore? Are the drug dealers on the South Side of Chicago murderers or are they drug dealers or are they lost youth who can be molded back into society? What are we dealing with over there? I think I'll go with murderers, right. The murderers will enjoy having murderer tack drones, and they'll use them, and they'll be used in inner cities and things like that. They're a lot able to get them from the police because the police are using them already, or from the same suppliers. Very similar to guns when you think about it, right, these weapons, I don't know. To me, they're essential. They keep a balance. If you would take people who are murderers and throw them in jail for a long time, you know, I see people every day. I think this person should go to jail for a long long time. It's terrible, particularly like in the teen takeover situation. You don't want to take a kid who's young and throw them in jail for a long long time. But I don't know, you got to establish something. And you know what, maybe if you don't take the child and throw them into jail for a long long time, maybe you take the parent. You cannot listen, you gotta go do some years. In this country, man, we were so petrified of putting people in jail. It's like, uh, I don't know what it is. You know, it doesn't make any sense to me because the victims, the victims' families, they get not there's no retribution. You know, Oh we got five years in jail and he'll get you know, years, ten years in jail, but it'll be out in five But to be this, but be dad good behavior. And you're sitting there, walking upstairs to the upstairs in the bedroom where your kid, or your wife or your spouse or something used to sleep is still there, set up the way that it's set up, and you're thinking, I wonder if what happens for me? I've always done been on good behavior. What do I get? Right? Will they ever come back. Will Will I ever be able to walk upstairs and look into this room and see that person that was taken away from me by a murderous animal in the streets. I'll never be able to see them again. They'll never be back. Doesn't matter about good behavior, doesn't matter about parole, doesn't you You can put a you could put a house arrest alarm or on my ankle. All you want, right, gladly wear it to get back that which has been taken. I'm the wrong guy, I tell you that. Yeah, we'll leave it at that. That crazy dream last night though, on the topic of kids and kids being taken and kids growing up and struggle, and you know, it's a weird moment when you're a parent. I don't know how many out you out there are parents, but it's a weird moment when you're a parent and you realize and right me with some very interesting realizations as a parent. You know, when you're young and your kids brand new, and your your peak sort of protection, You're you're thinking to yourself, like, I want to get the world perfect for him. I want everything in it to be handled and perfect by the time he's old enough to go out into the world. That's like the distillation of what you want as a parent when you see that newborn baby, or maybe you're hanging out with him he's two three years old. Like some of the most unbelievable times in life. Two three year olds, five year old, six year olds. I don't know though, you know, ten year olds are pretty sweet, and it's also pretty sweet to watch fourteen year olds. It's really fun actually to listen to them talk. It's a podcast. Really. I can't convince my son to do it, but it would be a very popular podcast to listen to fourteen year olds kind of figuring their way out through the world this day and age. You know, it's cool, It's it's not easy. It's a very interesting situation. But yeah, for some reason, I was set down into this setting and scene. I don't know if this happens to you in dreams, but I'm set down in this scene and setting that all makes sense. It doesn't make sense, but it makes sense in the dream situation. Right, it's here we are. We're in this situation, and uh, my son doesn't live with us anymore. He's living at another house, same age. You know, he's in high school. Still, but he's living at this other house and I hate it. I just hate it. I don't know it. I don't know what it is. I hate it. I think this has to he's getting a job soon. I think this might have to do with that. I'm not sure. That might have nothing to do with nothing, you know, but he's got that look on his face like he's suffering a bit. Nothing wrong with that. Another thing you have to understand as you grow into being a parent is that you know, not only here your kids gonna suffer, man, but you look at your own life and go, oh, they have to they have to suffer a little bit. You gotta suffer a little bit. That's how you become something, do you know what I mean? Everything that you've gone through that's made you something, you have to look on your little angels and go, oh, you've got to go through it too. One of the earliest ones for me was like heartbreak. I was like, oh, God, girl's gonna break his heart. The girls gonna break their hearts, both of them, the little boys one day. The other thing you think is apparent is I'm gonna fix America. We're gonna fix it, We're gonna make sure we get everything. You know, freedom perpetual. Right, We're gonna make sure that the freedom is forever. We can do it. We can make it happen the right political movement or the right people in office. We can make sure that from now until infinity, everyone is free. And we really foster the founding documents. And then I came to realize that now, this is some of these things are just the ball that you hand off like a quarterback to a running back, you know what I mean. Just these are just things that you hand off the next generation, and that more importantly, you make them aware of it and maybe even make them effective in the battle. But make no mistake about it, like the battles go to the next generation. And the reason they go to the next generation is because they're perpetual. They have to they have to the spiritual battle. You can't fight off all your demons and kill all your demons and kill all your kids demons and their kids demons and all the demons, right, you can't do that. You have to give them the tools so that they can fight. It's the same thing politically, it's the same thing. You know, life is a battle, man, This is why we're here we are the ultimate killer other species they roll over after ten thousand years, or I think I've had enough. We're done, We're tapping out. This world's crazy. I'm done, you know what I mean. The reason we're in the position we're in is because we this is what we do. You can look at it a bad way. You can look at it as like violence and warfare and oh my god, it's relentless. Or you can look at it and say, this is you know, you understand the game, and you move on into the game, and you know that you've got to set you know, the people that you love, the young people that you've created, up for success by making them aware of that, you know, instead of sheltering from it and having them go like, oh god, I've got all these enemies to fight, I've got all these things to battle, and on top of it, I have to be a human on top of it all, a nice one. So my Sonny pull He pulls out a bag of potatoes. He tells me he's been eating potatoes on his limited budget in the house that he's living in. And uh, there's a lot of things that feed into this, you know what I mean. There's so many things that feed into dreams. You're not really supposed to. I mean, I think this is right. I'm not one hundred percent sure, but I'm pretty sure biblically speaking, and in the in the world of spiritual warfare, you're not really supposed to like dig into your dreams very much and be like, hmm, what's going on with this dream? The only problem I have with that is that your dreams aren't a collection of like things that you're worrying about, right, and maybe not about my particular son, but I pay very close attention to the feelings and the attitudes of the coming generations. I think it's important if you have kids, it's very important, because you know that's the storm there inheriting. There is a sense of defeatism in the air amongst the gen Z and the Alphas. Right, we're beat already. We're never gonna own this. We're never gonna own that. We're never gonna be able to do this, do that, We're not gonna be able to find a girl that's worth it, a guy that's worth it. Like, it's just it's a mess out here. It's an absolute mess. And those things. You know, money's hard to get living is hard to get. All these kind of concepts build up in my head into a nightmare dream where my son is for some reason living in a different house and I hate it, and you know what he's subsisting on is a bag of Yukon golds, you know what I mean. And you wake up from a dream like that, and it's just it makes perfect sense. So then you you know the whole crux to prepping, The whole thing about prepping, survival, homesteading, whatever, self reliance, independence, rebellion, ex renaissance. The whole thing goes back to what It goes back to the idea of what are you gonna do about it? If these are the terms, right? If these are the terms, and what are you gonna do about it? Truly? Well, one of the things I think that makes a lot of sense if you're a parent, if you're a grandparent, if you have one of these gen z gen alphas that are coming up, is uh, treat that as a it's not the call like, you have no idea what's gonna happen with their life? None, You have no idea. Right, you can wind up making six times more money than you've ever made, but in the unknown why not take a look at the things that are hard to come by? Why not why not take a look at things like food that you can really affect, right, and just go gung ho and be able to say, look, we just we don't have the cash to give you to go buy a house, and you don't want you don't want that anyway, because that's not you know, you want to make it on your own. It's really bad if you don't make it on your own, I think, and you also miss out on a lot of great stuff you don't make it on your own. But maybe we can be the grocery store, right, Maybe we can be the grocery store. Maybe we can be the doorway to health, wellness and economic relief on this cost of goods, because it's really not that hard, do you know what I mean? If your kids somewhat know how to cook, and you have a backyard full of produce and fruit and a pantry full of all the things right, wheat, rice, sugar, flour, pasta, these things, then yeah, you're gonna be able to say, just come get your produce from us, get your veggies from us, right, and in this way you can help, you know what I mean? And yeah, of course, you know. The long term solution is they do it themselves too, and so on and so forth, right, because it is a weird. The world is changing, man, the world is always changing. Everything changes, Everything changes, Okay, everything changes. I want to tell you about the everything changes story. That might as well. Right here, like just a few feet away from me, my son was very little, my oldest. So we're talking twelve years ago, maybe ten years ago, something like that. He tells me about his game that he wants to try out. It's called Roadblocks, and I'm like, oh, it sounds like Legos. Let's see what it's all about. And it was a very different game back then than it is now. But I sorry, let's see. Let's play some Roadblocks, right. So we download Roadblocks and we're playing it and we're building stuff in there. And I can't remember the game exactly, but it was a game we were trying. We didn't know what we were doing, either of us were both trying to figure it out together. And uh, we were like building certain stations with money that we got from killing bad guys in the game, right with these little words zombie things. You'd kill him, you get some money, come back to your base and upgrade. It was something along those lines. None of that matters, right, he was enamored. He was having a good time. That was good. But there was a song in the background, and it was a cool little song, you know. It was a cool little video game song. Doo Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Dooo. I can remember it like yesterday, the song, and there was only one lyric in the whole thing, and it was just that everything changes. Do do Do Do Do? And if it was like we didn't play the game a lot, but the the song just branded my brain because you know, while he was playing, I was looking. I was looking at him, and I was like, shit, they're right, they're right. Everything does change. This is gonna change. It's all gonna change. It's going to grow up. The world's gonna change, and you know every I don't know, man, I want to go back. Some days I want to go back, but I also want to go forward, you know what I mean. It just is what it is when it comes to uh, how it all relates though, to what you can really do for the coming generation. It's just retooling and reconsidering the threat, you know what I mean? It's retool it's reevaluating, it's looking at the threat is something very different. You know that as you get older as a prepper, you have this base of preparedness, this base of skills, but maybe most valuable is this base of understanding of of threats and sort of the meter and that they follow, right, the patterns therein Oh, this is at the threat levels. High on this now, but it'll go back there. It's like a stock market of threats, you know what I mean. It's like the stocks up. Iranian nuke is way up lately, all right, Presidential assassination is way up there, in civil unrest, Islamic takeover is getting a lot of press. We've got to be careful, right, e MP, you ain't here and shit Solar nothing right, threats those stocks are way down. We should create the threat stock market. Be fun. The only thing is you don't want people investing in the threat stock market. But then again, we all are investing in the threat stock market when you think about it, right, that's exactly what you do when you buy a preparedness item. So as a you know, as a seasoned prepper, you start to get used to those patterns. You see those patterns and then new threats emerge. Right, the AI threat was not something we talked about a lot. Now it's a big one. The drone threat was not something we talked about a lot. Now it's big one. And I think it's going to be the one for a long time. And I think drone deterrens are going to be everything, man, you know, I really do. I could really see a time where like drone deterrence are going to be household wares. You know. It's like my age vac is needs replacing. Oh great, that's five grand. Well my my drone dome needs replacing. Oh great, that's another five grand. But you can't have you can't not have it, right. I hope it doesn't get that way, you know. I hope we don't get there. It's not a fun world to think about. But at this age, you may be retooling yourself. You may be reconfiguring, reconsidering what should I really put my effort and money into here? I know, the armory might be straight. It may be time to invest in you know, it may be time to move to that farm. It may be time to move to that larger homestead where you can provide more not just for yourself, but then you start thinking about the progeny, Oh, the progeny man. Wouldn't it be great you come get your milk and your meat, your vegetables and your eggs from me instead of Kroger. Right, cut that bill. But that's the catch twenty two in at all. The catch twenty two in at all in prepping, in life, in love and success and everything is you know, how much can you do for one you know what I mean, until their life is detracted from It's always my advice if you want to get married and have a great life, like even if you're rich, I look at rich as a real problem in a in a rewarding life, you know what I mean, Because I think it's easy to fall into traps, maybe not even rich, you know what I mean. It's easy to fall into the trap of a mom slow month. Can you send me some you know what I mean. It's really easy to fall into that trap. But if you can be poor and marry poor and really make it and really build up from the bottom up, there is no more rewarding a life. And that's sort of the catch twenty two, like of what you're building for your kids or with your kids or you know what I mean, to help your kids and that kind of thing. You start thinking like, oh, got be careful. It's a balance here, you know what I mean. There's a balance. You have to be careful about how much we do for them, particularly as the age and as they become adults, because you want to look back on your life and go, man, look at all that, Look at all that we accomplish in our time. You don't want to say life's great because dad does all the stuff, you know what I mean, My life with my kids and my wife is really great because we go to Dad's and get all the stuff we need, or something along, you know what I mean, because mom sends me a check every month or whatever. You're really bad about that over time, I'm sure. I mean, I'm sure there's some people who just say whatever, you know, but I feel like whatever only comes with some accomplishments. So but all that said, no reason not to retool, no reason not to reconfigure and rethink about the threat stock market and how it's affecting you know, the future. Look into the future and see how that's going to affect the people you care about, and then do the do the work of becoming something of a safety net, right or something of a real benefit. The skills, the preps, the tools, the food, right, these these are the things. Maybe they can cut costs, maybe they can eliminate costs. Maybe they can you know, create a more fortified generation, something along those lines. All right, folks, hungry, you gotta get out of here. Got to refill the coffee mug.
