Take care of yourself, Dad. Listen to me, Dad, take care of yourself out there. And I don't mean take care of yourself your responsibilities. You do that, of course. Now I mean take care of yourself. I mean it physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, take care of yourself, take time for yourself. It seems impossible. You don't want to do it. You don't want to get up early and do it. You don't want to fight over it. You don't want to right, there's a million reasons not to do it. Take care of yourself. There's a version of you. You've seen it in play. There are two versions of you that your family gets to see, right, and then there's a spectrum I guess with between the two. But there's Dad who is happy, engaged, excited, and then there's Dad who's miserable, angry, and short tempered in the whole nine yards, right, like we've all been both dads. Find your way to the best version of yourself starting with gratitude. You have to start with gratitude. You have to get outside into the world, build the base level gratitude. Okay, if you can get gratitude braided in there with God, then things are gonna happen to you that you won't believe. You know, And I'm not talking about you're gonna find money, You're gonna get this, You're gonna get I'm not talking about lists of things, you know what I mean. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about things are gonna start to happen to you that are remotely I mean, a total mindset shift right, start to figure out your family, You start to understand what a gift it all is. You feel those things, you know. When I hasn't been long, it's been four or five months something like that max. Maybe three months that I have I can feel I have moments. This is gonna sound crazy, what I don't care. It's just is what it is. I have moments where I feel this feeling and the only thing that comes to mind is the Holy Spirit is in my serotonin. That's the only thing that comes to mind. It happens during exertion, it happens during moments of deep gratitude. Yesterday I was doing a big long run and I was really suffering, and I had to sprint for a short time to get across a road, and I just felt the runners high. But it was different, and I feel it in my joints and in my shins and in my heart, and it's different, it's warm. I don't know how else to explain it, you know, I don't know how else to explain it. Since the endorphins, the serotonin they are, have been they have been completely metamorphosized and infected by the Holy Spirit. That's the only way I can explain it. And it makes perfect sense to me, because you know, Dave Jones has been telling me all year, don't forget you baptized. Things change, all of it, all of it, the scripture, the reading, the pentance, the confession, if you do confession, the fasting. These are myriad ways to take care of yourself. Dad, take care of yourself and also understand the things that give you energy. Man, put the people around you that give you energy. Go find people where they like to play. You get my drift. Go find your kids where they like to play, where they like to be, whatever that looks like. You've got to figure out what that is for your family, for your kids, same with your wife. You know, one of the most rewarding ways you can spend a life as a man is to go where people are at their peak. You know what I mean. We do enough dragging kids to this thing, into that thing, and dragging people to this event and that event, whatever the situation is, right, But if you meet them on their own turf and you can and you can have the willpower and the sanity and the capital pee patience, Dad, Dad, you got to work on your patience, man. Patience is if you're gonna be dad, then patience is nearly as important as anything else, right, because patience gets you through the threshold with your child. Patience gets you through the door with your with your spouse. But that door can be a bitch sometimes, you know what I mean. Sometimes your kid's explaining something to you and you're like, I'm so far out of the loop. I don't know how to do it, what to do what he's talking about? I don't know. But if you spend the patience points and you and you really give it a shot, you really give it a go, give it an effort. Tell everybody else around shut up. You listen to the one that you want to give your patience to, and you try to figure out what's the entry point here, what's the entry cost? What's the cost of entry for my patience on this topic. And you really give it a go, man, then you're gonna find yourself all of a sudden, you're gonna find yourself on their playing field and you're gonna say, oh, okay, I'm up to speed, and let's talk about it now. Let's let's watch it now, let's do it now, let's play it now, let's try it now, let's expand on it. Now. Let me give you my ideas on how to make it even better or how you might be able to make it better, and you tell me the same. All I can tell you is that there's a big, wide world out there, man, and you know your kids are living it. They're living it. And if you can find where they're living, and I don't mean literally, but if you can find where they are making their living, you can find where they're really spending their best time, their favorite time, then you can have an amazing time with those kids, and even with the spouse too. It goes for the spouse as well. You know, it's an amazing thing. It's hard to believe, but it is truly amazing what you can figure out as as dad. But you can't do any of it if he get stressed out, murdered by the stress. Right, you can't do any of it then if you don't find out what really gives you the datitude, right, the attitude, the nightmare, whatever it is. Did you eat like shit? Did you not work out? Did you not sleep? Did you not make that phone call you know you had to make. Did you not do that thing that you said, all right, it's finally Saturday, the weekends here, this is the one thing I want to do today. Did you not do it? Have you been waiting to do it all day long? Because you wanted to do this for the wife and that for the kids in the yard needed this, and the house needed that, and you needed to fix this thing and do that thing. Sometimes you just have to say, I just have to go do this now. I'll tell you one thing that for some people it is very hard to do them. For some people is not so hard. But it has really made my life as dad much easier. Wake up two hours before everyone minimum. I know it's hard to get up. Sometimes it's hard to get up. Wake up, put your disaster coffee on two hours before anybody's even awake. Play your video game, read your book, watch your movie, watch your show, Listen to PBN, work out right, plan your day, take care of some tasks that you got to take care of. Do all of these things right that if you don't do them in the morning, then you know you gotta get them done at some point, and you're not looking forward to it. Right, Do all these things and you'll be amazed at what you can get done before anybody's even awake, you know. And that's magic, man, that is magic, because now you got all these things done, and then you hear that first bump upstairs. Oh someone's awake. What time is it? I don't know. Even though I lost track of time, I was having such a good time. I fixed the sink, I played a little video games, I wrote a little this, did a little that. Right, Do all these things, and you do them long before the family. Even then the kids come downstairs and they say, Dad, breakfast or this, or let's play or let's do that. Or the wife wakes up first and honey, we need to go out and get we need to go out and do I want to go do this, Come with me, let's go whatever. And underneath your belt, man, you've got a stack of all the things that you've already done, already accomplished, had to get out of the way, wanted to do you know, the whole thing. And I'm telling you it's like a miracle. It really is. It's like a miracle because when you wake up the same time as everybody else, there's no you know, maybe you slept another hour, maybe you slept another two hour. What difference is two hours really making in your life? Most men who don't want to wake up early will sacrifice two hours, right, They'll go to it. Give me two hours more sleep so that I can have ten hours miserable with my family. It's a bad equation. Doesn't work. Doesn't work, trust me, doesn't That's never works out, you know what I mean? But that you know, the caring for oneself that you can do, you know, and become a zealot. I don't know what how else to say it become In times like these, we need zelots. That's what we need. We need. We need religious zelots, not the kind and head scarves that cut people's heads off. I'm talking about Christian zelots. That's what we need. We need people who look out onto the world and say, not only am I overburdened with demons. But the world is overburdened with demons, and we need to purge the unclean. Really, I mean that that that's what we need out of dads right now. You know, it starts with you, right, and make sure you spend some time getting a little zealous, getting into that Bible, starting to understand the holy war that is at hand, the holy war that you will fight your rest of your life and hand over to your children, the perpetual war, and understand what a blessing and a gift it is to be in that war. And then of course the weapons of that war. You know, no weapon I mean greater in my opinion than fasting. That is the weapon, you know what I mean. That is the weapon against against any kind of a personal sort of struggle that you're having in terms of sin. To me, Jesus even says it in the Bible. It's hard to believe, you know. I want to thank Dave Jones and Ronda Patrick and everyone who ever put me onto fasting. I mean, I was put onto it for I don't want to die of cancer. And it makes sense, right, but and I like a challenge. But you know, it turns out it's also great for the soul on top of everything else. So yeah, dad, take care of yourself. Take care of yourself. Even if you've got a great wife at home you know will take care of you. Like take care of yourself too. It's not easy. I know, it's tough. It's hard out there. There's so much to do, so little time. There's always another hustle, another dollar to make, another thing to get done on a list, you know. And the kids they're so good, they're so comfort They get in front of them screens, they don't care. You know. You go up to them, you say, hey, you want to go do this? They know, leave me alone, right, eyes lit up. Take care of yourself and or give you the strength overcome all of that. It'll give you strength to overcome all of the things in your life that are ailing you. Now you know. Of of course, you have to also put it on God. And this is where the zealous part comes in. Right, You have to get down on your knees and put the put the woes of life on God and then give God the gratitude when it's due, Give him the gratitude when it's due. And it's due a lot, you know that bill comes due a lot, and nobody pays it. Nobody pays it. We live in this society now everything is everything is gravy, everything is cherry pie, PBM family. I mean, it really is right. You have to step outside of all of it and just look around. You know, the background noise of life is such a blessing you can't even wrap your head around it. No one can thank God enough for the times. And it's the juxtaposition. It's, of course, the best of times in the worst of times, the tale of two cities, right, because we're also overburdened by demonic activity, right, and then some of the worst people of all time have made their way into some of the highest places of all time, and we have to fight that war. Now. It might sound like a lot, it is a lot, and you should be asked a lot. A lot should be asked of you as a man, right because I can tell you this much. If you go to bed having done nothing hard, having struggled for nothing, I think that's a path to suicide. There's only so much of that a man can do. If you go to bed exhausted, right, with nothing left in the tank, having given everything, falling asleep halfway through your prayers. Well, I can promise you like so long as you are putting that energy into something like a family, or he doesn't even have to be a family. You just have to be in the spirit of giving, just giving your time and giving your effort, and maybe even giving your money if you have the money to give to something. Right, there's so many kids and things. I mean, be very careful what kind of organizations you give your money to if you start doing that business. But there is a cause out there, there is something worthy, there is an endeavor, There is a mentorship or something along those lines out there that you can give to. And if every suicide bubbles up inside of you, if ever that question, would the world be better without me? Maybe I should leave this world. If ever that bubbles up inside you, then just fine. If you've given up on yourself, first of all, your God is not going to be happy, give yourself over to something else. Give your whole life, your whole existence over to something else. Just give it over to something else. That's it, you know what I mean. In other words, you don't have to sacrifice your living body if you're ready to give it all up, if you're ready to sacrifice it all. You don't have to sacrifice your living body. No, don't do that. But sacrifice yourself while on this on this plane, while on this planet, give all of your time, all of your effort, all of your money to a worthy cause. If you look at the world and say, there's nothing here for me, the planet, the world would be better off without me, and so on it to me. Me, me, me, me, me right, I'm no good, I've made mistakes, I've done whatever you're reasoning. I'm never gonna meet anybody. I'm never gonna have a family, I'm never gonna whatever the thing is that's rotting you from the soul, that's the voice of the enemy, first and foremost. But fine, then give all of yourself. Rather than giving all of yourself over to the barrel of gun or a bottle of pills, give all of yourself. Sacrifice yourself on this planet to something amazing, to something worthy, to a cause that is that is greater than your problem. Right, you can spend eighteen hours a day at a food bank, at a soup kitchen, picking up trash at your local park, I mean literally, and if you sit there and go I don't like doing this. This is boring. Who cares what's boring? You are in the business of sacrifice, my man. You've decided to step out of this world, that's your decision. But rather than waste a life and waste a soul on such a silly thing. If suicide is something you can't seem to escape, of course, talk to someone, talk to God. But if your hell bent on sacrificing yourself, then do it with your effort. Give your hire life over to something. Spend your whole life making something better. And I promise you if you really do it, if you really if you say you know what I'm done, nothing's working for me. I don't want to do this traditional life anymore. I don't want to do it the way that I'm doing it. It's not working. Then all you gotta do is give yourself over to something for a while. You're gonna find such joy in that you won't believe it. It's gonna be hard at first, it's gonna be miserable. You're gonna find your life again in that because you're gonna wipe the slate clean. You're not gonna worry about your problems. You're gonna worry about her problems. You're gonna worry about the kids problems that you're helping. You're gonna worry about his problems, the institutions, problems that you are devoting all your time to. There is no shortage of time. It's just what we make of it, right, So take care of yourself. Down This is your day, this is your month, This is Men's Mental Health Month. Make sure you go to PBN, make sure you get into that men's mental health routine. It's not for nothing. It's not making me a penny. I'm not out here selling you a thing. It's not a member's only perk. If these things are there for you, it's a beautiful life. Get out and see it. Happy Father's Day to you all.
