[00:00:00] I'm going to go you know, just say that we should, there's, I just wanted to do something a little differently tonight. Okay. So before I get started with that, let's, let's hear some, you know, hear from some of our sponsors, and then wecheepland.com has properties in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arizona, Utah. Go to yourcheepland.com, check out the properties, use the promo code PBN and get $100 off your purchase.
[00:04:23] All right.
[00:04:24] And if you like what you hear here on PBN, the mind and their times when especially when we're going through stuff whether it be sickness or or you know loss of a job or some really something really difficult in our life you know when we explore this book you know there's a lot of God and turning aside from the bad. Job 1. Verse 8. This must be the period between the lives of two outstanding servants of Jehovah, Jacob's sons Joseph and
[00:07:02] the prophet Moses. Moses, who is thought to limit. It's limitless. The Bible is a limitless source of learning and information.
[00:08:26] Okay, so let's talk a little bit about Job and about hope. Everything was going well for him. You could see that his life was blessed. He had a great family, he had wealth, he was comfortable. Just like many of us today are. He was a devout man who was very, very comfortable with to look at his life. So, he lost everything. Wealth, social standing, family, health. You know, losing your health is a big deal.
[00:11:01] I mean, you know, he was afflicted, right, Are there? Some people here in my voice are in Job's shoes right now, whether it be the loss of a job or, or, you know, loss of health or something that's important to them.
[00:12:21] You know, some of you, right,
[00:12:24] probably listen to this, a marriage, friendships, health, remember that. pilgrimage through life will have its ups and downs like Job right the one life raft we have is God and we need to hold fast to him not be like Job's wife who cursed God and you know, truth or the errors of their advice. But they give it anyway. We have to be like Job and be steadfast and not to give up our integrity or truth and go along with the crowd. It's really easy to go along with the crowd. It's really easy to say, okay, the life that we're living, something has been wrong
[00:16:23] with it. And to give that up, times in our lives, you know, just because we're Christians and just because we're believers, we're not perfect. Okay. And we will fall and bad things will happen to us.
[00:17:41] But we through our relationship that we should be, you know, having with our Right? He always has hope. We always have hope as Christians. We always do. And when things look hopeless, understand that anywhere you can put your hand on a Bible, there is of a redeemer to Eve. Through Abraham, Moses, David, John the Baptist, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we have an ironclad covenant that in him. And he is our truth. And if you believe in him, okay, then, you know, you will be an overcomer, you will overcome anything, right? And even when you're sick, even when you're in pain,
[00:21:41] even when you're facing some of the most, but if we, since we have a bigger worldview, we understand that no deed goes unpunished because this life is not the end. And it's really amazing too because it really, when it really does appear that some people go through life and they never get punished for all the bad things that they do, that is not, that is never, that's not the case.
[00:24:02] difficult circumstances that we're all dealing with. And I'm thinking to myself, I could be talking
[00:24:04] about China, I could be talking about
[00:24:06] Joe Biden, I could be talking about all these other things.
[00:24:09] But there's a bigger, there are bigger things at work
[00:24:13] than all of that.
[00:24:14] And we shouldn't lose sight of that.
[00:24:15] And I just wanna say that
[00:24:20] we should all understand
[00:24:23] in our darkest hour, there is hope.
[00:25:27] He said, I know my Redeemer lives and that in the end he will stand on the earth and after my skin has been destroyed yet in my flesh I will see God.
[00:25:33] I myself will see him with my own eyes, I and not another, how my heart yearns within
[00:25:40] me.
[00:25:41] It is so beautiful isn't it?
[00:25:43] Poetry, the book of Job.
