I got books, I got gear, I got antibiotics, I got all kinds of stuff for you, and a great list of topics to touch on here at the Relentless Prepper Broadcasting Network. But the breaking news is as follows, three hundred billion to Iran coming from the Vice President. When I'm coming from the vice president. But the Epic Times is reporting Iran could access three hundred billion dollar reconstruction fund under peace agreement. The reconstruction fund would be funded by the Middle Eastern Nations, not the United States. It's still a bad deal and I don't think that it'll work out that way. Personally, I think America will wind up funding it, as we wind up funding all of our enemies. We've seen this story before, and it's part of a much larger situation that we as Americans and we as whatever whatever group you're a part of. Really it's not a Prepper thing exclusively, but it is an American thing, and I think we owe it to ourselves as American citizens two hundred and fifty years in to really act on taxes. We really have to act on taxes. We have to push back on taxes, we have to pressure the government on taxes. It's happening in some states already. What I don't like about this story, in particular, before I go off on a taxis tangent is the idea that because the two countries signed a preliminary memorandum of understanding, whatever that is the MoU. I love when you're dealing with somebody, they send you an MoU. The coalition is comprised of golf Arab nations interested in regional economic stability and will not require you as funding. Look, if that works, I will survive in the woods for a week with a knife. How about that? How about that? I'll put my money where my mouth is, Okay, If it turns out that we find ourselves in a situation where the Arab nations just got bombed drone attacked by Iran, they decide, yeah, let's fund the reconstruction of the country that just bombed us and cost us a lot of money. Who's funding their reconstruction? If that turns out to be the case and we pay nothing, the American taxpayer pays nothing. Right, if that is the case, then I will do a five day excursion into the woods, surviving only with my favorite survival knife. Okay, shelter water, all that kind of stuff. That's what I'll do in the name of it all. So keep your eyes on this story, because it could mean some suffering for the Intrepid Commandment. But I highly highly doubt we're gonna have to worry about that because we love giving out money. We the government loves giving out your money and my money. And as I mentioned two hundred thousand or two hundred and fifty years in, I just think it's time that we have a conversation about taxes that may be surviving America. This week, We're gonna get back to shows this week, me personally, back to a lot of shows that I haven't been doing kicking off Red Beacon Daily News. I hope you guys are digging Red Beacon Daily News. I'm sure this well, this story might not make Red Beacon Daily. Actually, I don't know if it's that big of a deal, but you know, it's one of those things. Camera. How do you like my background over here? Huh? That's pretty good. That's custom designed by the Walton Boys. We found some kind of chalk spray paint and it started. It started low and then it started to grow. And I don't know, this is just how I wanted to do the show today. I didn't feel like getting behind. I need a new background. I don't like the current situation, the windows situation that we've done in the past. It just doesn't seem to like show enough, you know what I mean? Speaking of showing, I got an email from the publisher yesterday. Pretty cool. Whoa hello? Wait now we got a little bit of light here. The Ultimate Survival Toolkit written by James Walton. Okay, the Intrepid Command of Yours truly. The title is backwards Calm Down, Light, the Ultimate ser hold on say, the Ultimate Survival Toolkit, toned Down. I just got word from the publisher that this not in this beautiful gift style. This is really an awesome gift. It comes with the book itself. It comes with the collection of survival cards and a multi tool. The cards are great, man, these cards are really cool. They're amazing. It was a really a cool thing to come up with these. I wish they weren't all in uh overblown light. I don't know, there's not even that much light here right now. Cordage and binding reference. Yeah, awesome stuff. I'm really proud of it. It's a great it's a great gift. It's out now. But more importantly, it's gonna be available at Walmart in the paperback, so it won't be this cool hardback. It won't come with the cards, but it'll be sold at Walmart. Man, the Intrepid Commander for sale at Walmart. That's wild. That's wild. The new one, the Preppers Toolkit, I'm writing right now that one. Hopefully we get that one into Walmart too, because that one is amazing. That one really is a great Prepper book. I'm very proud of how that's coming along. That one didn't start as a me book. That started as a freelance job that then became a me book, you know what I mean. They were like, do you want to again? It's so But the new one, The Preppers Toolkit, is uh, that's an all me book. Actually, that is the first all me Prepper book that I've ever been commissioned to write by a publisher. So it's getting a lot of attention, you know what I mean in terms of my personal what's going into the book personally, all my tips and tricks and all that kind of stuff. Great, awesome. Couldn't be happier. Another great book out now. Let's see if this one gets blown up by the lighting. I think it's out now. Hope it's out now. Herbs that Heal, by the one and only Judson Carrol, Herbs that Heal. I guess we got to figure out how to mirror this camera. Huh. If we're going to show off books, this is an amazing book, man. This is Catholic Home Remedies to Forage and Grow by the King of Herbal Medicine for Preppers himself, the Saint Judson Carrol, the guy behind Listen. If you're seeing this video and you don't listen to the Relentless Prepper Broadcasting Network podcast, then you are really missing out, and one of the biggest things that you're missing out on is herbal medicine for prepper. It's an amazing show. Amazing. I mean, it's a master class that you get for free. It's like, I don't know, fifty shows in now. Every show focuses on another wild edible herb and how to use it medicinally. It's the best. It's the best. There's nothing better than that. Show me something better than it, I don't know. PBN is so filled with knowledge, information, the type of things that people are hungry for right now, it's kind of hard to believe. I'm very proud of it. I am. I'm very proud of what we've done here at PBN, all the hosts, all the content. It's amazing. Sometimes I feel like an old Renaissance or like a poet where the PBN, the massive compen PBN works will not fully be appreciated until we're all dead and gone. That could be the situation. I don't know. Whatever, it's been a hell of a ride. It's been a great time. Let's talk about what of purification, water purification and sort of a dream sponsorship that's up and coming. You'll hear much more about it at giveaway as well. Do a lot more giveaways here at PBN. That's fun. Let's check on the IG group not paying any attention to everybody. What's up at it six add it's how you've been, man, I'm doing great. Glad to see you. Welcome and everybody over there at Instagram. Thank you guys for joining us years and years. In two twenty eighteen, I went and met the guys from three V Gear at prepper Con. I met the guys from Bunker Days at prepper Con, two companies you don't hear a lot from anymore, but they were cool in their time. I still you. Actually, I just packed up a three V Gear hiking backpack for vacation. It was a great time. It was a magical vacation, man, magic. Seriously, really hard to wrap my head around what happened in Vaca. At Vaca, it's too big, just too big, too big, too perfect, too overwhelming. You just had to take it one day at a time and just look around and go like this is happening right now. You're like life is happening. But I met a young guy who had a water bottle filled with dirty water and he had something that looked like a life straw, except it was about this size instead of the size of a big life straw. And he was drinking out of the water bottle with this little sidekick it was called and he was at a booth run by a company called Hydro Blue, right, Hydro Blue. And in those days, it wasn't very easy to get sponsorships. It was kind of of hard. Everybody was on like the ambassador kick and that kind of stuff. And it was the birth of Disaster Coffee. That's how Disaster Coffee came to be our great coffee sponsor business we created and you know all of these things. We're kind of working together at the time at prepper Con twenty eighteen. But I was captivated by Hydro Blue, I really was. I became a brand ambassador for them in twenty eighteen. I got this amazing piece of equipment here. The pressurized Jerry can. This is an amazing This guy in here is a water filter and a pump. Water comes out this side. I'll give you a little better in depth look at that another time, but suffice it to say, man, that thing. If you're gonna buy one piece of equipment for managing water in an emergency right, one piece of equipment, I'd say that's probably about the best, not for water collection, but managing managing water that you know, maybe it's in you're in a white wilderness situation, camping situation, an emergency situation, you're pulling water out of rain barrels that you want to drink because you don't have any more. Whatever the water situation is. You need water mobility, right, you need to take water from one location to the next, and you want it filtered and boiled or whatever. When you show up, that pressurized jerry can does it all. And it even has an attached virus filter. Okay, so for me, it was a no brainer that thing. When I got one, and I got one on the house for being a brand ambassador for a Hydra blue Back in twenty eighteen, I was elated. I was elated. It's always been great. I mean, it really is one of the highest quality filters and ways to capture water at a location and carry it with you to another location and then have it not only not only filtered, but also pressurized for cleaning if you want to do that, or you know, you could shower out of that thing. Not not a great shower, but you could manage it even comes with an attached sort of sprayer in my mind, you know, PBN is like a we're a weird like dark horse of the prepping entertainment world, right, contrarian to some degree, right on some things, but we're definitely sort of that weird thing. And hydrob I like those companies that are that way too, you know what I mean, those companies that maybe you haven't heard of or haven't heard of in a long time, but they do great work. I started reaching out to them again after the Life Straw failed the Breaker of Banksters, when the Life Straw became an issue in a use like an actual use case scenario, right, which was as your Highland. Maybe it was an Appalachian trail hike between Ben and future Dan. It was one of our survival excursions. I wasn't involved in that part of it, but suffice it to say, the Breaker of the Banksters from the Patriot Power Hour loss. Did you see there? Did you see the Patriot Power Hours prediction chart? Dude, that thing is amazing. They don't want to show it just yet. We're going to show it. It's amazing. It's really great. Anyway, those guys are the best in news on PBN. It doesn't get any better. He used the Life Straw lost his canteen, had to turn to the Life Straw right as an emergency backup, and he found that it was terrible. And I've used them in the past and not very impressed by how much water for effort you get out of it. Of course it's better than nothing, right, but it's also big. It's about four times or probably three or four times the size of the Hydro Blue Sidekick, which is like a pen size water filter that does a similar job. And I started reaching out the Hydro Blue to see, you know, what are you guys up to these days? Haven't heard from me in a while. And suffice it to say, we're gonna do a giveaway, We're gonna do some We're gonna do some Hydro Blue sidekicks out to the listeners, and you're gonna be hearing more from them, seeing more of their gear here on PBN. Very cool stuff, fun, awesome, great stuff. A company that I wanted to work with for a long time, you know. And all I can tell you is perseverance, baby, That's all I can tell you. Perseverance. What I say, twenty eighteen, we're almost ten years in. Yeah, perseverance is real. Most people don't have the patience for it or the or they're not relentless enough, you know what I mean. They're just not quite relentless enough. But it is what it is. So if you're into water readiness, water preparedness and that kind of thing, camping, hiking, overlanding, all that kind of stuff, you'll dig them. We'll get into it. You'll see what it's all about, and I think you'll dig it. Let's take a look at what do I do here? Yeah, we want to share that. No, we want to share a window, don't we No, we don't want to share a window either. What do I want to share here? I guess I could go through the website. Let's talk about the routine. This month flew by, right, so we didn't have a lot of time to do check ins on the routine. I really like this month we're doing men's mental health because that's what June is, Men's mental health month. I don't care what anyone else tells me about what the month is supposed to be or what we're supposed to do. You won't get any rainbows from me, Okay, but you will get a big dose of men's mental health. And let's talk about that. I'm gonna show you. We're on day sixteen. This is a really nice one because some of the routines that we do, and for those of you who are unaware, we do monthly routines on stuff constantly every month. Every month this year we've done one. I enjoy putting them together. I think they're really great for people who want to participate. What I like most about this month, guys, is the low impact fitness. Really, we do a lot of fitness stuff. Sometimes I worry that the routines are like pushing people to feel worse about themselves because the workouts can be crazy and they like, I'm not doing There's no way I'm doing that, And then you feel like, oh, I didn't do it. That stinks, right, But we got the daily inspiration, we got the journal prompt. The journal prompt is no joke. Writing with a pen and paper is no joke. There are things in this life that we have disconnected from that are so innately human, vital, absolutely vital. And I was listening to the Modern Wisdom podcast yesterday and I don't remember the guest, but I was making breakfast and listening to him and he was discribed, no, you know what, I was actually coming back from a quest diagnostics, health check for insurance. And that's a whole nother story, man, but it's a good one. It's a facing of fears and and uh and a great wife. Just having a great wife invaluable. The Bible is right. But anyway, coming back and listening to this guy talk about the fact that we are in the matrix, that we are now living in the matrix, right that the mate and he went on to explain the matrix was you know, you know the story. I hope it is a great movie franchise. But humanities basically fall into an artificial, intelligent tyrant ruler that keeps them narketized and happy and quiet and uses them as energy as batteries. It's we're close if we're not there. When you're doom scrolling on your cell phone, what's happening? I heard it said on maybe on that podcast too, But if you're if you have a device in hand but you don't know why you're using it, then the device is using you. Keep that in mind. If you don't know why you're using it, then it's using you. So now we live in a world that is powered by algorithms, right, or we exist in a digital realm that is powered by algorithms for many hours a day. Now we do exist in this realm what screen time? Screen time is that? Right? So we exist in this digital realm that has largely eliminated boredom, narctizes us to our problems and struggles, makes us feel kind of good, right for long swathes of time throughout the day, connects us in a way that is pretty good, but superficial compared to you know, real connection. And uh. Now, many of these programs and algorithms are powered by artificial intelligence all the while, you know, sucking up our attention for money, our data for money, using us in the same way that you could argue the artificial intelligence in the matrix used humanity for power, for energy as a battery, not necessarily a battery, more as an income stream for now right for now. Who knows how that goes in the future. So the reason I bring all that up, the reason I read you know, the reason I wanted to go over that scenario is to present you with the Journal prompt scenario for this month's routine. Because there are things that if you do them, they put you in connection with long, long, long, long, long lost, not necessarily lost, even you touch wires with the humanity that's existed for ever. These things, right, there are these things out there. I noticed it first when I started swinging an axe and splitting wood. I was just swinging a composite, crappy mall basically that I thought was an axe, and I didn't know what I was doing. I wound up breaking the axe head off because I just didn't know, you know, I had no idea. I had logs on the side of the house. I wound up storing the wood on the porch, and I think carpenter ants ate the posts off the porch. We had to redo the whole porch. Hilarious. But I remember swinging that axe and going like, whoa, this is something This is not This is not sweeping the floor, you know what I mean. This is a different thing. This I'm doing a movement, emotion with a cool that is a whole different thing, a whole different level of connection. Not long after, I would have purchased a recurve bow and I'd be shooting that recurve bow into stacked hay bales right that I bought from Lows, and that same feeling. Whoa, I'm firing a bow and arrow right now, not a compound bow. Nothing wrong with a compound bow. I own one of those two. But to fire a recurve bow, a stick and string bow, something that has been used by humans for thousands of years, right, maybe tens of thousands of years. I don't know how old the oldest arrow bow is, but old man like hum in capital h and I felt that same electricity. And I realize that's what penn and pad is too. That's what writing is. But so many of us did it for so long that it didn't have the magic. But now that everything is, the magic is there. The hand written word is amazing. You know. You get the same feeling when you send a letter out to somebody. These days, one of my great failures of all of life is this threat to send letters to people I love, and I never do it. It's hard. It's insanely difficult to sit down and write a letter, even though it would encompass probably like fifteen minutes of your life from start to you know, envelope to mailbox. It's just one of those things I struggle with constantly. So the journal prompt is, you know, me trying to get you into that headspace, you know what I mean. We're down here on the sixteenth day. Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord, Psalm thirty one twenty four. That's a good one to write up on the wall. The prompt for today, take your time with these now, right? What legacy do I want to leave as a man of strength? Legacy is a big question. It's a hard question to answer when you're under a lot of pressure too. But nobody has to see these, you know what I mean. These are thought experiments. These are just things to write down and to look over and to look back on. See. The thing about putting pen to pad and writing a prompt out is because it gives you the ability. It gives you the ability to look back and say, man, that was a good idea I forgot or I was way off base with that, you know what I mean. And for the low impact, I think I may do the low impact today because yeah, we got fifteen minutes yoga for hips and back fifteen minutes of yoga for hips and back. If you have no idea where to begin with that, just look up Leslie fight Master Man, Leslie Fight Master, and then hits hips and back Leslie fight Master or fight Master Yoga, hips and back. Okay. I went to yoga classes a lot ten fifteen years ago now right and learned it. I had a buddy who was like an angel. He just came out of nowhere and then disappear. He's like a guardian angel. He really was. He was a guy who showed up right around the same time that I was getting into prepping, and he showed up and he was like, here's a kettlebelt. You should do yoga, this is how to box. You can go to an mma gym. You could just go to one. You can walk in. You don't have to be a fighter. And even part of these crazy things on me that like or like body armor that I put on and then moved on into the future and just became me. It's crazy, you know what I mean. If I ever run into that guy again, I'm gonna hug him. But it was weird. He was in my life and then he was out of my life, and it was just this weird thing man. But anyway, he got me started, well, he didn't get me started, and yoga kind of brought it back to the forefront. And over time when I did it, most was at home, and I did it with fight Master yoga. I started doing it more heavily when I was doing jiu jitsu and I just searched yoga for jiu jitsu, and fight Master yoga came up. And I watched Leslie fight Master for years and then she died. She just died. It was so crazy. Don't just out of nowhere. She just passed away, got sick dead, you. Know what I mean? She was healthy, wild. Just to remind you, Momento Moury, if you will, was like that. So I liked the yoga. Today I might do the yoga. I might really an honest like in Earnest, pull out the yoga mat and really go in on it, because it's been a while since I've sat down and really done some really fun like I've done some moves and some stretches, but really really given it to yo because it is great for you. It's amazing. It's amazing, it's low impact. Anybody can do it, you know what I mean. You don't have to like twist yourself into a pretzel to do yoga, and you just do your best. You know, you don't have to look like the forms that you see on television, because every bit of stretching helps, every bit of breath work helps. I remember years ago thinking like, people are doing breathing exercises. They don't even know how to breathe. It was the same time they were eating clay, they were eating mud pills and doing breathing exercise And I said, man, we're bored. We've got to be the most bored people, the most comfortable inconvenience ridden people in the world to be eating mud pills, clay pills and doing breathing exercises. But what I didn't realize at the time, and what you should realize, is that life is tough, and uh it's very easy. And I noticed this when you get in front of a screen too, this happens. You get into a shallow breathing habit, a fight or flight sort of breathing habit, and you can stay there all day. You can stay there for eight hours of work if you have a stressful job, a little slower than that, but shallow something like this you know what I mean, and you stay in that's and that's not how you're supposed to be supposed to be breathing in a lot of oxygen, you know what I mean. You have big lungs, fill them up. So I like the uh, I like the yoga for today, I'm gonna roll the mat out and do some yoga today myself. It has a lot to do with the fact that my well has a lot to do with the fact that my legs are killing me because another gift has happened for the Intrepid Commander, you know what I mean, Another magical thing has happened. A new chapter has opened up into my life, and it's you know, it's just back to the gym. It's back to the gym, my son. It's weird like parenting, man, I need to do a parenting show because I'm just at that point. You know, I got a fourteen year old, I get a ten year old. I've been at it for fourteen years fifteen if you can't count, like the pregnancy and all that and what that's like for a man, it really is what you do creates your kids more than anything. You know, we are really to be honest, my wife and I are very liberal parents. We are we're pretty damn liberal parents, maybe to a fault, and I think that's well whatever, I don't want to hyper analyze it. But what I've seen out of my children is that they do what you do more than anything. They definitely don't do what you say. The older they get, you know what I mean. But they do what you do. They return to the things that you did and that you do because that's what they've seen their whole life. That's what they know. Right. So if you spend your free time or your best time, or your good time or your hard time just video game or just doing drinking or just you know whatever, whatever kind of activities men do, golfing, whatever, then when the kids grow up, they go like, Okay, this is my center, this is my core. This is how people have in my family have dealt with struggle or whatever their situation is. Right. And because my wife and I mean my kids grew up in the gym. They literally were six weeks something like that. I forget what is six months, eight weeks, I don't remember what it was. Insanely young. You could bring them to the gym kid zone and the ladies back there were fantastic. Actually, we wound up hiring them as babysitters and they would care for the kids for an hour while you worked at the gym. As the kids got older, they did sports back there and activities back there, and it was perfect. So the kids have been in the gym their whole lives, and when they were little enough to come out into the gym, you know, we'd play with them out in the gym, run the train, can play racquetball and those kinds of things. Racketball is that it set the one with the wall wall ball, tennis. But now the time has come, you know, Carter wants to go to Jim and lift waits and it's great, man, it's so good. It's so much fun. It's so awesome because you know, you know what my greatest fear is, if you listen to me for any time, it's a drawing a part of dad and kid is as important and necessary as it is, right, but it's just that's part of it. That's one of those things. It's terrifying. You're like, oh man, these great days with the kids are coming to an end as they get older, and the things that like if you can do them with your kid as they start to get older into this like fourteen years, you know, and we can work out together and have a good time and all that kind of stuff and talk. It's just it's wonderful. And the younger one is there and he sees it and you know, and you just know it's almost inevitable, like another one's gonna come, going to have There will come a time when we're probably all four working out at the gym together. And as far as I can tell, guys, if you really want to have a conversation about health overall, health, aging in particular and aging, well, it's lifting weights. It's cardiovascular health. It's lifting weights. I know there's a lot of people out there that don't want to hear it, but that's what it is. You know what I mean, That's what it is. It's lifting weights, it's cardiovascular exercise. From thirty on, you could begin to lose bone density if you're not careful, But if you stress your body with weight, then your bones will continue to remodel stronger, you know what I mean, They'll continue to understand there's going to be pressure here. We can't get weak yet. That's it. You look at all the things what you eat, you know, vitamins and medication and your herbs and everything. Nothing compares to exercise. That just is what it is. You know. That's just so you got to get comfortable with it. It's part of the reason why I do the routines with the exercises every month, because I want you to if you do nothing, just dip your toe in it. Right, get used to it, because as you get used to exercising on a regular basis, your body gets used to you exercising on a regular basis. Going into old age with strong muscles, lean muscle mass, strong bones. These are the things that will make the difference, not just in like, oh, physically I can do these things, but they lean muscle mass puts things out into your body. You make you healthier. I don't want to get into the whole thing. I mean, if you want me to get maybe I should. Maybe I should on a prepper fit in health. Maybe I should get into the whole thing. Yeah, don't let me go down any first, they're down that rabbit hole. So we talked about herbs that heal men's mental health. Listen, I'll link down to the men's mental health. The routine down below in the podcast. I can't link down to it in the Rumble or the Instagram or the X because I already posted those. So go to Prepperbroadcasting dot com, listen to the podcast, and get the routine. Okay, do yourself a favor. You know what I mean, Do yourself a favor. Let's see if this media asset is appropriate for what I'd like to talk about next, because it is a beauty. But I don't remember if I put a name on it or not survive anything. Oh, I like that. Sometimes I make these things and I don't even know really what I'm getting myself into. Today's sponsor is survival Scripts straightforward, the best antibiotics, emergency antibiotics, backup antibiotics, not fish mocks, not stuff from a fish tank, not stuff for a fish tank. And if you have more than one kit of backup antibiotics and somebody needs some antibiotics, it's gonna be good. It's gonna be good for both of you, right, it's gonna be a good thing.
