And let me just say this, Yes, look, I know I'm more of a national platform, Okay, And so there are a lot of you that are watching this that probably won't be very interested in this episode, and I apologize for that, but not really because I think every single person with a platform should do exactly this. I tell you all the time that elections, they're local. That's where you're going to be effective. They're the most important ones. Yes, everybody focuses on the federal and the state to a lesser degree, but locals where it's at. Guys, this is where we can be more competitive. This is where the people's voice can actually bring about positive reform and change. And so for that national audience that might be watching this show. Look, a lot of this isn't going to make sense to you. You don't know these people, and the election really has nothing to do with you. So if that's the case, look I understand it, I'll excuse you. You know, you can be dismissed whatever. But for the people in Spokane area, this is going to be a very important one. And remember, I'm not a Republican. I'm a libertarian. I'm a constitutionalist. Some would call me a conservative. I don't know. I mean, in some ways I suppose. But anyway, let's just start and let's go with the congressional District five. And this is where right off the bat and you'd be like, hey, he's attacking a Republican. Sure him. Yep. Not a fan of Michael Baumgartner. Okay, I've known him for a long time. He used to I mean when I was a politician ten years ago. He was also a politician, went to meetings, traveled in the same circles. And I wouldn't endorse this guy, I'll tell you right now, don't. I won't vote for him. And I think right now there's an opportunity. Look, he doesn't have the massive war chest. He doesn't have all that great name recognition that comes with some of these incumbents who have been in it for years and years and years. Kathy MacMorris Rogers never had to really worry about losing an election because the fifth Congressional District is read and she had all that name recognition and all that money. So we have an opportunity here those of us who lean more towards the libertarian or constitutional side of things. And it's a heavy, heavy field. There's a lot of people running right now, a lot of independence running right now, So you got to wade through all that, and you got to do the research, which I did. And the candidate that I'm going to endure as well recommend. I don't know him, I've never met him, just going off of the research that I've done. Right there, Chris, and this is going to be easy for the people because he's right next to Michael Baumgartner. So just go to your voter pamphlet and look up Kyle Usre. I hope I'm pronouncing that correctly. If you see this, sir, and I butchered your last name, I apologize, but just go I going off of some of the things he said, and I don't agree with everything he said, but he talks about a constitutional republic. That's a key for me. A constitutional republic. When I see somebody talking about our democracy versus somebody that actually knows we're a constitutional republic, I pay attention to that. When he talks about his fifteen problems that he actually wants to fix. This is down at the bottom of what he wrote. Some good things in here, actually very good things in here. Start the States rights powers under the Tenth Amendment versus President Trump's a legal expansion of federal powers. Yeah, I like that one. Refund use USA though, don't like that one so much. But regardless, I do believe that he's probably the best candidate for this election cycle, and so that's who I'm going to mark my ballot for it. Anyway, moving from there, we're going to be talking about congressional or sorry, that's still congressional. There's so many of these congressional districts, all right, Legislative District three, the South Hill. I'm sorry if you're if you're a conservative or a constitutionalist, or a libertarian, or even a Republican that lives on the South Hill, I'm sorry, it's a beautiful area. It really is. I used to deliver mail up there in Manito area. It was gorgeous. But you are like you are behind enemy alliance there in Spokane, like you know it, you're very well aware of it. So we've got a couple of people. There's two different positions that are running. I'm known Tony Keepy for years. This guy's I mean he is this Christmas. You say it's fair to say that Tony Keepy volunteers for everything. Yeah, that's pretty much Tony. Yeah that is Tony. Tony is a go getter and just volunteers over and over and over again. Has ran multiple times, and I respect him and I would even call him a friend. And so I'm gonna throw Tony keep It to you. That's where you're gonna vote Republican, as well as Natalie Pulsen, who's been a guest on this program actually multiple times. Look, I am a realist and I'm not trying to be I'm not trying to be black pilled, okay, but I am a realist. This is a hard race, okay, And once again, not a Republican. So I'm not like we can do it. Chris is gonna get mad at me. People will get mad at me. We could do it, We could do it, we can win. It's like when the state Republican Party is like, we can win for governor and I'm like, can Y you sure about that? I don't know. I want you to vote for both these people, Tony Keepy and Natalie Pulson. I want you to vote for them. Okay, but if we really want to transform Spokane Man the third district, it needs some help, all right. With that being said, moving beyond that, we're gonna go over to district for District four. Got kind of interesting actually here. Okay, we've got we got an open seat and four people who jumped into it. All of them claim to be Republican. And I'm gonna go with Deborah Long first, Chris, because Chris, you know Deborah Long, she's been she's been around for a while. Would you call her a Republican, Chris, would you call Deborah Long a Republican? No? No, no, no, no no. You see, oftentimes Democrats do this in areas where they know they can't win as a Democrat, they'll run as a Republican. And sorry, Deborah, we know we're all aware. I feel like I'm Joe Biden. I'm whispering now, Chris, I should stop doing that. Deborah Long is a big solid no. Then we move to the other candidates and we have Trent Mayor, Hillary Fam, and George Wagner. Now, George Wagner has been a guest on this show, and I'm gonna hold him off to the end. Hillary Fam, I've met her. She actually used to be Rob Chase's aid. She's a nice lady. Do I think she's the most qualified for the job. I don't. Trent Mayer never met him. He has a sider house in Liberty Lake. More of a beer guy. You're more of a beer guy than a sider guy. I can enjoy a side or down, but it's not generally my first thing. I can have two beers. I don't know if I can have two siders. It's too sweet. Yeah, I agreed. Yeah, Okay. So I don't know much about this man, and he is racking up a lot of endorsements. It seems like the party seems to be going his direction. But I'll tell you one of the key things for me, and this is where we get to George Wagner. Abortion is one of the most important issues, if not the most important issue to somebody who treasures individual rights. That's me. And we cannot have we cannot operate under a governmental system where they dictate when life begins, because we know when it begins. It's obvious. It's as plain as the nose on my face. It begins a conception. And just if you leave that baby alone without any medical honestly malpractice, obviously that baby would be born and be a human life. Hey, so you can't argue with me on this one. It has to start. We have to preserve life, protect life in the womb. And I saw a story where Hillary fam and Trent Mayor were asked this very question and they give some well, they made some comments that I don't agree with. I don't like it at all. Okay, they just they hold no water for me. They of course brought up the cases of incest rape and if the mother's life is at risk number one, the mother's life at risk. You have to understand that the vast majority of times when they talk about this, it's an ectopic pregnancy. I'm a former EMT. I know exactly what that is. An Ectopic pregnancy isn't viable pregnancy. They have to remove that because it's not in the uterus, and if they allow that baby to continue to grow, it will kill the mother. That's a whole different story there. You like talking about like point zero zero zero zero zero zero one percent of the time where it's not an ectopic pregnancy, that the mother's life might be at risk. Why good in the mud with a pig. Just be straightforward. I support life. When it comes to rape and incest, look extremely extremely tragic, disgusting people. I want murder or I want rapists people that practice incest to be thrown in prison. They're disgusting to me. But do you punish the child for the sins of the father? And the answer is, of course no, you don't. And this is the reason why, this is the main reason why I'm gonna support George Wagner on this one. The man is unapologetically pro life. You don't play those games. So that would be who I am going to mark the ballot for, right there, George Wagner. Then we come to the other race in Legislative District four, Rob Chase, Bob Curtis, and Rob Tupper. We got Rob Tupper running as a Democrat, and even though I'm not a Republican, I really have a hard time voting Democrat. There might be one outlier out there that's like, I'm like, you're not really a Democrat, You're more libertarian. Is that what you're doing. You're running as a Democrat because you can't win as a libertarian. That might happen, but generally speaking, the Democratic Party has not a lot to offer for Americans. So I'm gonna focus on Bob Curtis and Rob Chase. And let me just tell you right now, I have connections to both. Bob Curtis. I actually go to church with He's a good guy. I like him. I talk with him quite a bit, does security for the church. But Rob Chase is a personal friend of mine. Rob Chase, and I've told this story before on the show. That man right there, he's the reason I'm sitting in this chair. He's the guy who got me started in politics. I went to a tiny little Constitution party meeting in Spokane Valley and I walk in there and there's like seven gray hairs and me, at thirty years old, I come strolling in. They're like, who's the kid, They're like, what do you want. You're like, why are you here? And I'm like, I'm looking for the Constitution. Partly they're like, whoa, who's this guy? Rob Chase happened to be there, hey, and so he took me under his wing. He mentored me in a lot of ways. And I love this man and I will always endorse Rob Chase no matter what position he's running for. So I like you, Bob, I really do. I hope you know that, but I gotta endorse Rob. Rob is my pick on this one. With that, we move over to District six, which the Senate race is not very exciting. You got Jeff Holly all by himself, So there you go. I will say this, even if you decide you're not going to vote for Jeff Holy, don't leave them blank. Okay, that's a great way to engage an election fraud. Never leave the ballot blank. Write in somebody else's name. Okay. I was going to say, right and Mickey Mouse, but don't vote for Disney. Write in somebody else's name. But if you live in this area, you know I know Jeff Holly Holy. Sorry, he's a good guy, all right, So there you go. Legislative District six gets a little bit more interesting here. We've got a bunch of different people running for this position, and they're all running under well not all of them. Two of them are running as Democrats and four of them are running as Republicans. So it's a crowded field. But one of them I've had on the show before, and this guy I completely support, and I'm talking about Alan Nolan. You're going to scroll to the third page. I believe Chris on this one. Alan Nolan. He's a good guy. I had him on the show when he was running for school board in Mead and I'll tell you Mead School District it transformed, seriously, it became much better. And I'm not a fan of public school. Alan Nolan has been tried and tested and he came out smelling like a rose. This is a man who is truly what you would call a conservative, and I can respect that. I don't always agree with everything that the Conservatives won, but I can respect that, and I think he's most certainly the best candidate for this job. Do you like seeing him next to your friend there, Chris. By the way, I'm not going to comment, no comments on that one. Alan Nolan. Vote for that guy. From there where we go to the other position, District six, also position two, and we've got a Republican, a Democrat, and an independent, and we have Jonathan Bingle, and he's been on this show a few times before as well. I like Jonathan. He's a very very nice guy and I really truly do respect him for what he did during COVID nineteen. So my vote, if I lived in this area, I don't would be Jonathan Bingle on this one. I did look at the independent Aaron Croft, because I like independence, but he seemed a little bit too much on the liberal side of me to pull the trigger on that one. Jonathan Bingle gets my vote on this. From there, we go over to Legislative District seven. This is a hard one. There's four people running, and you know's running as an independent, one's three are running as Republican. I know Shelley Short a little bit when I was a politician. I met her a few times. She was always very nice to me. But I'm getting tired of incumbents. I'm getting tired of the exact same thing over and over and over and over again. We've got Ronald L. McCoy running as an independent. We got Brandon Ray Medina running as a Republican, and David Swape as a Republican. David Swape didn't submit a picture and with pretty much everything he filled out like other professional experience over biography, limit education over biography, limit, community service over biography. Limit That doesn't make you look good. Okay, it really doesn't. I don't know enough about you to say, don't vote for this guy, but I will just say like that makes you peer arrogant and it's off putting. I personally, I think I would probably vote for Ronald L. McCoy as an independent, and he's been a Republican multiple times. He's got good views on the Second Amendment. For example. He's rural, so I think I would probably vote that way if I lived in the seventh district. From there, let's move over to position one for the representative you got. Andrew Ingle used to work for Kathy MacMorris Rogers. He's running unopposed, So once again you determine which way you're going to vote, and don't leave it blank. I'll say that the other position, Hunter Abel, again running unopposed, So do what you will, but again do not leave that blank. And District nine State Representative position one, Mary Die is running again unopposed. Not a big fan. Not a big fan of Mary Die. Sorry, call it like I see it, and you can do what you will. I mean, I don't live in that area. You got no real opposite, or you have no opposition at all, So write somebody in. I guess District nine, position two, you have a Democrat and Joe Schmick, and Joe's better than Mary, so I guess I would vote for him over that, obviously over the Democrat. On this one, spoken Kenny. Commissioner District two. Why are these so many of these unopposed? Can we not do better? Can't somebody run for this office? Man? There's no recommendation on this. On Commissioner District two, absolutely none. I cannot endorse, and I cannot endorse. And Commissioner District four either man. Look at me being so consistent. Isn't that great? Chris? I feel good about myself. Commissioners none, I'm going to write in. I'm not gonna support either one of them. One's a Democrat, whe's a Republican. And I don't think i've ever met Amber, but I've watched her and her votes. Can't support that I have met Susan Schmidt. What can I say? I I guess I can just say I'm not going to vote for either one. There you go, Spoking County Assessor Tom Conis. I know Tom personally. He's a pretty good man. I supported him when he first ran. He's running unopposed again as well. My gosh, so many unopposed. But I would vote for or well, I will vote for Tom Conis, Spokane County Auditor. This is an interesting race. I got a Democrat, two Republicans? Is it fair to say two Republicans? Chris is that active? There is some debate about There. Is some debate about whether or not that's true. Look, Dale Whittaker is the obvious choice for me. I've had Dale on the show a number of times. I like Dale. I've hung out with Dale. He is a good guy. And in fact, when Dale and I first met, we were told not to like each other by other people. That's a great feld. And we ended up meeting at a campaign event and we ended up standing in the corner just talking to each other the whole time. We just immediately got along. He's the most American patriot brit I've ever met. Okay, the guy is awesome, and so I heavily endorsed Dale Whittaker for this position. We've needed to clean How long have we had a Democrat auditor Chris in this county. Seems like forever? Oh my gosh, And you really got to ask yourself this one. This is why this race in particular interests me. Spokane County is red. Now Spokane City is blue, okay, but Spokane County is red. Typically in these county official positions, you expect to see Republicans in these positions. But for some reason, our auditor, a Democrat, has just sailed through over and over and over again, and she's faced some great candidates like Bob McCastle and who's amazing, and still she wins. These are the people for Spokane County that are counting in the ballots. That's vital, that's one of the most important offices in our county. I'm certainly not going to go for another Democrat. And Michael Cathcart, who I know, known him for years. Shoot, he chastised when we were doing TCAP the church at Planned Parenthood where we were literally having worship services outside of Planned Parenthood. He chastised us. He's supposed to be on our side. He voted the right way, I'll give him that one, but he chastised us. And he's got the endorsement of the current auditor, Vicky Dalton and Betsy Wilkerson. Yes, WHOA yeah, I know, not voting that way, guys. Sorry. Dale Whittaker is the obvious choice on that one. From there, we go to Spokane County Clerk got Elliott Robinson or Dave Lucas. Dave's an awesome guy. I've had coffee with Dave. He's amazing, really cool Catholic. I'm a Lutheran. That takes a lot to say right now, it doesn't the Catholics and Lutherans are actually similar in a lot of ways. But he's just a cool guy. I really like him a lot, and I definitely say vote this direction for Dave Lucas prosecuting attorney. You know, I have such an interesting story that one day I'll feel comfort sharing. It'll require some people to pass on actually before I'm able to share that. But I've seen good prosecutors. I've seen Boy, have I seen corruption. I have seen corruption in this county to what you guys wouldn't even believe it sounds like a fiction novel, to be quite honest, But I can't share that yet. One day, one day I will, but I'll tell you the former prosecutor, Larry Haskell is an amazing man. He really is, and he served this county with honor and integrity, and I've valued him and his wife. His wife and I when I first started in politics, we were on opposite sides in the World Publican Party. She was more establishment. I was more on the Liberty Caucus side. But we were always nice to each other. We were always cordial, and we ended up becoming friends, and my wife became friends with her, and boy, she did not pull punches. Did she pull punches, Chris? She did not. I loved it. I was like, oh, yes, it reminds me of somebody. Oh yeah, me. She was great. And so when he retired after long, long years of service, he endorsed Preston McCollum. And I've met Preston and he seems like a really, really good choice, but strictly off of Larry Haskell, not even knowing Preston that well, I'm gonna go with Preston. I'm gonna I'm gonna say vote for this man, because the word of Larry means so much much to me. So there you go. And his opponent is she's no party preference, you know, and that could mean, you know, very good things, it could mean bad things. But I just want to say that most certainly, Oh well, never mind, she put her endorsements. This is very helpful. A council member, Rebecca Long, Spokane Valley Deputy Mayor Tim Hattenberg, Spokane Mayor Lisa Brown. I mean, hats off to you for putting that down there. That makes things actually really really easy. But definitely I couldn't vote for you. I'll tell you that right off the bat. Preston. It is now as we're coming up on a heartbreak, lays and gentlemen, I want to remind you that this is a great episode for those of you who live in Spokane County and people have questions about elections, all right, they do. Maybe you passed this episode on. Maybe say, hey, this is a guy who's been involved in politics for a long time and he knows a lot of these people. Maybe you should hear him out. And I've out of myself, you know where I'm standing. Maybe you disagree with some of these but we have a lot of important elections and I'm going to get to the justices too, because I know a lot of people have questions about those. Even five dollars a month can make a dramatic difference with that. Let's go back to the elections, and we paused on Spokane County Prosecuting Attorney. So the next one is Spokane County Sheriff. No one's running. Well, John F. Knowles is running, but he's running on a post and so here you go. I've met him a few times, don't really know him. I don't think I've ever even had a conversation with him. So there you go. You know, he's your one option. Again if you decide not to go that route, don't leave it blank. Whatever you do from there. Spokane County Treasurer again unopposed, Mike woles I know, Mike, I've actually worked on one of his earlier campaigns, helped him doorbell and things like that. Good guy, you know, I wish you had been a little bit stronger when he was a legis later, but genuinely a good guy. And so I will vote for him. And once again, if you decide not to go that route, don't leave it blank. Now here's where it gets weird, right, Here's where people start asking questions because they hate the whole nonpartisan thing. It can be really difficult. You really got to do your research on these and I'll tell you when it comes to because a lot of people actually call me and ask me about who I would support, who I'd vote for, and this is the number one issue they ask about, what about the justices? Right? Because most of us don't have the time to go through with it. They're not political nerds like I am. Well, I did the research for you, and so we'll start going down this list of these individuals and we got a lot in the Supreme Court raceis for Washington in twenty twenty six. First one justice position one. You got Laura Christian Colberg versus Scott Edwards. Right, he's in there, right, Scott Edwards is in there. Yeah, there he is. Okay, and there's a third pick in there as well. But I'm even gonna I'm not even gonna talk about them. Scott Edwards, as I look at the evidence on this and I've I've examined it. Scott Edwards is favored in conservative circles. He's got some more restraint oriented views, whereas Laura and Laura Christiansen Colberg, she's about equity, she's about she's liberal leaning. So I'm going to tell you that Scott Edwards is the better pick for Supreme Court Justice position one. From there, we move over to Justice position three, and we got this is kind of more crowded one, isn't it. We've got Jamie Michelle Hawk, David Stevens, Michael Diaz. Is there anyone else on that one? No, that's the three. Nevermind, it's just the three. I'm gonna go ahead and say David Stevens for this one's former prosecutor. He's endorsed by multiple Republican parties, including the Washington State GOP, whereas Jamie Hawk was endorsed by Governor Ferguson. Uh. That's a yeah, it's a solid no, So the man who has single handedly maybe that's not entirely fair, but he's definitely been a thorn. And any want any small business, really, anyone trying to get tax relief cheaper gas, like, this guy's just a nightmare. So if you're endorsed by him, that's not a feather in your cap, okay. And the Mike Diaz has strong Democrat and sitting justice endorsements. So when I look at that, I'm definitely going to pick David Stevens for Supreme Court Washington Supreme Court district or position three. From there, we go to Supreme Court, Washington Supreme Court Justice position four, and we've got Ian Burke Sean O'Donnell. Is that the only two on that one? Where'd you go? Well? I was looking at position four over here. Do we not have that one? Okay? Well, I'll just tell the audience right there, Shawn O'Donnell more moderate conservative record, whereas Ian Burke is more liberal leaning, So we won't go that route. Where are you at, George Miller? Why don't I have that one? I don't have that in my notes, Chris, So oops, sorry failed the audience on that one. I guess from there. Maybe I can try to pick that up in a little bit. But Justice position five, we have Dave Larson, Greg Miller, theo Angleese and Sharonda m Milo Man, I'm bad with names. That's the same one. Oh, that's the same one. So you have it. I do have that one. Sorry, I was messed up. Apologies to the audience on that one. Okay, Dave Larson, this is position five, not four. That's what it was. I was on position four. Okay, position five, Dave Larson. I've met Dave Larson. The guy knows the law. He is constitutionally oriented. This is an easy one for me. It was an easy one for anyone who's more on the liberty side of things. Dave Larsen is a must. This guy's got to get in vote for him. From there, Chris, is that the last of the justices? Or do we have one more? Do we have a position seven? Okay? We do have position seven. There we go, and we got Shelley Stevens and Merchant and the most conservative pick this one is going to be David R. Shelvy. He's got conservative support. Whereas what's that. There's a fourth there's Todd Bloom. Oh, Todd Bloom. That's the one. Sorry, Chris is keeping me honest. Actually, Shelby does have some conservative support, but so does Todd Bloom. I forgot about this. I don't know why he didn't make my list. This is very strange to me. But Todd Bloom actually has some support from some local conservatives in this area that I actually respect greatly. So I probably would lean more towards Todd Bloom on this one, and David Shelby would be a second for me. So forgive the error in what I said. You're going to want to support Todd Bloom on this one. All right? With that, we've where else? So do we have anything else? Chris? On the elections? Oh, we have the district Yeah, we have the district courts, which thinks Spokane, Spokane didn't add these ones to this ballot that we've been going through. Chris. Yeah, no, they're not in the pamphlet online. That is really, really, quite a lapse in judgment. I would say, we need that information, and so here we go. I'm gonna give it to you. District Court position judge position two, we have Kroll versus Valerine. Kroll is liberal leaning endorsed by the Spokane County Democrats, whereas Valerine is conservative leaning and he'd been featured at Republican judicial forums more of a law and order type. I'm gonna go with the with the Republicans on this one. With District Court judge position four, you have Adams with two d's versus Ulrich, which is he's more conservative leading he's been highlighted in GOP forums, whereas Adams is more moderate liberal leaning. So once again going with the Republicans on this one. District Court position three Jenny zappone. I think she actually is related as Zaxophone too. No, okay, never mind, No. I don't know. I'm just saying. But even if she is, Oh yeah, no, he's he's one of the worst. Yeah, she's actually pretty good. She's conservative leaning, So if there is any family ties there whatsoever, Uh, the apple fell far from the tree in this case. So I would support Jenny's bone on this one. And then Supreme Court position three special you have one candidate, Candy Dibble, and she's liberal leaning progressive equity issues. So once again I'm not going to vote for that, but I'm going to write somebody's name in all right, So there's your justices. I know the justices can be very confusing, and hopefully through the work that I did in examining these people, you feel a little bit more comfortable in who you're going to vote for. The last issue on the ballot should be an easy one, should be a real easy one. The STA wants more money. The STA wants more money for buses because everybody uses public transportation. Right, can't they just get it from the homeless fund? That's yeah, people on the bus. I mean, how many times, ladies and gentlemen, have you driven by a bus that's choking up the roads? You know you're all getting road rage off of it. I know you are. You get stuck behind the STA bus and they keep pulling over for no one. You finally are able to get into the next lane. You drive past them, and you, you know, you, even if you're a Christian, right, you give them the look? Hey, you know you do? You give them the look. You're like, just so you know, just because of this sneer on my face, I think you're terrible driver. You've gotten in my way, and the buses were always empty. They're always empty. There's nobody in there because for the longest time in America. It's starting to get a little bit worse. But the longest time, everybody could afford a car, and we didn't want to get on a bus. We wanted to drive. We didn't want to have to wait and wait for more people to get on and off and made the commute awful. So we drove in our own cars. Maybe we car pooled. And now they want to do things like take the vision and make one lane a dedicated bus lane. Once they finished the North South Freeway, when's that supposed to happen again? Keep pushing them back, don't they? Yeah, No, No, I'm not going to give the SDA any money. No, I'm not going to vote for a tax increase. I say this about everything. I don't care if it's the school district, the fire levees, EMSs levees, police bonds, I don't care. I don't vote for taxing, preass whatsoever. Sometimes that makes me an enemy of the Democrats. Sometimes that makes me any of the other Republicans. Until you can show me that you're actually using the money, my money, your money in a good way, I'm not gonna vote for that. And when I look at my property tax bill. You know what I see. I see death by a thousand cuts, because every one of these says the exact same thing. Right, It's only a minor amount of money. It's just a small percentage of your assessed value. And you open it up and you're like, holy cow, the school levy, the firebomb, all this stuff. It adds up, doesn't it. So no, I'm never going to voluntarily vote for a tax increase upon myself. What am I gonna do? Like next thing, I'm gonna go into a private room and beat myself up. It seems legit, of course not, And I hope all of you agree to that as well. If you're having a little bit of trouble there are gas prices in Washington State, if you have to drive into Idaho just to save a little bit of money, If you're looking at the grocery bill and you're like, man, you're gonna make some hard decisions, why would you vote for another tax increase? The answer is, of course you wouldn't. And the answer is, of course that without public funding, public transportation would have gone the way of the Dodo decades ago, because it doesn't work. And if in the market that public transportation goes away and there's a market, there's an industry, somebody can make money off of it. Then guess what would return? Private buses? You already see them. You already see private buses anytime you see a tour group. They're not a private bus. So if there was actual market for it, private buses would fill the void of public transportation. But I don't think there's a market for it. In fact, if you're an entrepreneur, I would suggest probably not getting into the private busing industry. It's probably not gonna make a lot of money there. Well, there you go, ladies and gentlemen. My take as a somebody who's been involved in politics for over a decade in Spokane County, as somebody who's a libertarian, a constitutionalist, this is my take on the Spokane County elections.
