With that, let's go ahead and bring on our guest, a reoccurring guest. I've got Alexander Duncan. He's a Texan. I'm sure he's probably how he wants to be introduced for us as a Texan, also married obviously that's probably the most important, and a Christian. I'm going in reverse order here, Okay, former l EO and president, founder of Patriot Pouch, which we will talk about after the break. But Alexander, always great to have you on the show. Yeah, thank you. I love this show because man, we just get we get right into it with everything going on. Well, there's so much to talk about. And I mean every single time you turn on the news or just turn your head in a different direction, there's some type of an attack against our liberties, against America, or sovereignty. So yeah, it's you can't be bored, I'll put it that way. Right, they're giving us never ending stuff to talk about. I mean, I don't know if you've been catching on to the flock issue. With the flock safety cameras going on, I got, you know, blocked by their CEO for just asking a question. But yeah, it's a great time to be an American as we're losing every liberty we have. It seems like, yeah, I mean that flock camera is such an important issue and I'm glad you brought that up. We weren't even planning on talking about it. But that's kind of how you and I operate. It's very organic, two guys kind of having a conversation just so happens it's being recorded. But flock cameras. I love the fact that so many Americamerricans are waking up to this danger and there the Fourth Amendment is really coming into a lot of conversations these days. Right. Yeah. And it's funny because when I was in law enforcement in California, we use flock and of course I actually sat through their presentation to our department, and when you hear it on face value, like, oh, this is great, it helps us catch criminals, and it does. It's caught a lot of criminals. But at the same time, you're recording every single license plate that passes by, and it's going even deeper than that. They don't even need a license plate. They could put in if there was a bumper sticker or there's some type of damage on that vehicle, and they will track it on every single camera it's hit. So you could take any random license plate, go to their website. And this is only for law enforcement. We had civilian employees with access to this stuff, people that are not sworn police officers, and they could look up any license plate and see any camera that it's hit on in America. So you know, I I always hate the whole when you hear people say, well, I have nothing to hide, so who cares if they track me? Well, you have nothing to hide right now. But what happens when policies changed, laws change, and they say, hey, you know, owning a firearms illegal, So we're going to track every firearm owner. Christianity illegal, We're going to track every Christian even a church. And people don't realize once you give up freedom, it's never coming back, and we just I'm glad people are you know, I don't advocate for vandalism, but I'm glad people are starting to do something and fight back against this, because if you just sit and remain silent, nothing's going to happen. Yeah, we would never recommend that people engage in vandalism against these flock cameras. Kill Jose. I'll just leave it at that, you know, Alexander, I love to sometimes go back and watch some of my favorite dystopian movies, and I just rewatched this week in Any of the State that is such a great movie came out in nineteen ninety eight, but so much of what they revealed in that I'm like, oh my gosh, like all of this is true and more they're well beyond what they showcased in that movie. Well, one of the really interesting things about that movie was that that Gene Hackman's character, at one point in the movie they say his date of birth, and you know what, his date of birth was just predictive programming. You know, they love to do this in Hollywood. But just take a wild stab at his. Birthday twenty thirty or something. No, it was nine eleven, oh in nineteen ninety eight. Nine eleven was his birthday. I was like, oh, there it is there, It is right there. Yeah, it's it's all connected. It's we just I don't even know what to say anymore with everything that's going on, because now they don't even hide anything. They just put it all out in the open and say, yeah, we're doing it. So what like, you're not going to stop us? Yes, the same thing with like you know, the deep state. It's like they're just like, yeah, we're here and we're going to he continued doing what we want to do and none of you are going to stop us because you mean, we're all hopeful, you know Trump at the beginning, we're like, oh, this is the first guy fighting back. He's not part of the you know deep state. It's like, no, they they've kind of got to him. He's he's compromising someway because sure, falling in line with everything he said he wasn't going to do. That is the truth. I mean, from another war to are we still talking about Epstein? I mean it's just every single time it seems like Leiley opens his mouth, I'm just like, I. Voted for you. Why the Fauci thing the other day yeah, oh, these these auto pens, they're you know, they're illegitimate. And then in the Oval office, now we're not going to do anything that's a part. And it's like, what happened to you? Yeah? What, like we elected you to fight all this corruption and now you're just kind of like rolling over like yeah, so it is what it is. Yeah, it's it's so disappointing. And you know, Fauci was an interesting one. And as of this date, it's July thirtieth when we're recording this, but Fauci was just on the stand and my goodness, you know he has immunity, but he's pleading the Fifth which really doesn't apply. But I mean that guy wouldn't answer any questions even the color of his tie. Yeah, which you're just a buffoon at this point. Whatever whoever your legal counsel is there, their intelligence needs to come into question because if you know the Fifth Amendment, you know you're not protected because you have immunity. Right now, you could they could ask you whatever you want, and you're defining a congressional subpoena. And it's like, why can't these people just have the common sense to be like, Okay, you could you ask me the color of the ground, I'll answer that whatever you know, who cares. But every single question on vice accountcil on evoking my fifth and then right, it's just like way to make yourself look even worse. That's true. It's like, yeah, nobody's gonna love him. I would imagine even though some of those leftists who were like in Fauci we trust, have started to move away from this guy at this point. Yeah, I mean, I don't know how anybody could support this guy anymore, even just the stuff these senators are reading up from his personal emails and everything, like, dang, this guy is some real piece of garbage. That's true. But you know what I mean. I was in the grocery store last night in Spokane, Washington, which was not exactly you know this, It's not exactly this hotbed of liberalism. It's not Seattle, I'll put it that way. But two employees working at this grocery store were in masks. Oh you still see it. You can't fix stupid. That's true. I'm sure it's a little bit better in Texas. Yeah, I mean, you still see him. And we're getting invaded left and right by these these liberals from all over the place. So it's not much better right now. Yeah, you definitely have your areas of issues in Texas. You know, Austin obviously is probably one of the most liberal Houston's Houston's real bad too though, and also within Texas, you guys have a different sort of invasion that is going on, and that's really the bulk of what we want to talk about in today's episode. But you guys are being invaded by Islam. Yeah, the fastest growing state for new mosques, isn't that something? And I mean we were talking about John Gundolo, a good front of ours, and you ask all these subject matter experts, they're like, yeah, it's out in the open. Texas is their number one target because they're smart. And I always say this when I go speak on Islam, I go, They're very smart. They're very calculated, very deliberate with what they do, and they know if they could come into Texas and take it over, I mean, America falls with it. If you take a conservative stronghold like Texas, it's it's done. And what we've seen, i mean just even transpire over the last eleven years in Texas under Governor Abbott's so called leadership. It's been like one hundred percent increase in mosques and it's crazy and for people to sit back and think, oh, this is okay, it's you know, freedom or religion. Like, we need to get back to the original intent of what you know, the first Aement was about. It was not about opening it up to every single false god to bring over here. It was, hey, we want Christians to practice their denomination freely. We don't want to have a state in post church. That's what it was. And now just this suicidal empathy. We've opened up the floodgates. Hey, come on in, you know. And I always tell people Islam is an enemy of America. It's an enemy of the world. If you read their teachings and read their Quran, it's very clear what their objective is. They want a worldwide califate that rules the world by Sharia, and that's the only time there's peace under Islam. So it's like they're clearly an enemy of the United States because they oppose our constitution, our values, everything, But we're just welcoming in and these mosque are just ford operating basis for jihad essentially. So it's like I always tell people would you be okay allowing Russia to come in and build a military base China. Oh no, No, that's exactly what we're doing with Islam. We are allowing them to set up essentially military bases all across our country. You're You're absolutely right, and I love that you bring in the Founding Fathers and the First Amendment into this. And I would recommend to anybody who has questions about this to read some of the documents from our founding fathers, specifically Thomas Jefferson, because he had a lot to say about Islam and in fact, as a marine that's really in our DNA. There what we you know, the shores of Tripoli. We went in there and we took out the Barbary pirates. But it is when we look at the foundation of this country, the First Amendment, it was about allowing people to practice their religion. And when I say religion, it was really the Protestant religion. I mean they even had some issues with Catholics early on in this country. But when you look at the foundation of the Republic, the laws that were established, a Christian can operate within our country very easily. But when you look at Islam and how they put an emphasis of Sharia law above our constitution. The two don't mix. They're oil and water, right. And you know, it's great that we're having more people wake up to this. We're seeing there's a Sharia Free Caucus in Congress and we have it here in Texas. But I always go back to saying, this is just like medicine, you're trying to treat a symptom and not the cause. Sharia is just a symptom of Islam. Islam is the root cause the problem. And I go, you could ban Sharia all you want. It's not like they're operating Sharia courts at your local courthouse. They adjudicate these cases inside a mosque. Just like gang members when you say, oh, you can't carry a gun, you're you know, a career criminal gang member. Do you think they listen. No, same thing with Muslims. They're going to adhere to Sharia because that is fundamentally what they believe, and they're going to still adjudicate this stuff inside their mosque. And guess what, the government is not going to do anything because they're going to be like, well, it's a sacred place of warship, we can't go in there. And interrupt what they're doing, and so it's just it's all political theater and it's just a big waste of time essentially. Yeah, I would completely agree with that. One of the other issues that I want to talk to you about this and I wish the left would pay more attention to this. You do realize, and I'm talking to the leftists, that you're being used by Islam, that they've identified you as the weak ones, and this is why they have this access with you, because they know that if they're able to take over and in this case specifically Texas and get everybody to start voting Democrat, that they can easily take you out. That's their goal there. And when I wish the leftists would look at Islam, I actually look at what they teach about things like homosexuality, because I think even the leftists would then oppose Islam at that point. Right, I mean we've heard it. I don't know if you ever saw the interview with Dinstis Susan that Imam and he straight at basket and he's like, well, why do you vote left? I mean they stand for stuff you've fundamentally opposed, and he goes, well, yeah, but conservatives you have values, you have morals, principles that you stand on the left. They don't have any of that, and they're easily manipulated. And that's exactly what we're seeing when you see these protests queers for Palestine, like, okay, go over there and see how you're going to be treated. You know, it's just they're useful idiots for Islam, and it's honestly working in Islam's favor. Care put up I think seventy six candidates this last election cycle, and they got fifty percent voted into office. And I always tell people, like they think, you know, it's the They always go back to, oh, well they're not committing you know, terrorist acts anymore. Well that's only a small portion. You know, look at there're an ideology that conquers. If you go throughout history, multiple Christian nations conquered by Islam. And they have it so much easier in America. And the whole thing is ballots not bullets. They don't need to come wage war. They're going to use our constitution against us. They're going to vote themselves into office. And they start they start locally. They start with school board, city council's, state legislator. Now we're having members of Congress. We're going to have a Muslim senator. It looks like out of Michigan. And I mean they play the long game and it's working right. Now, is you know. I think it was John Guandolo actually who identified care as Jihadiston suits and this is what they're doing. Uh, They're using the legal system. They're using the Republican form of government that we have here in this country as a weapon. It doesn't have to be a bomb or a gun in this case. They're using our own system against us in order to bring these people into power. And you and I both know politics. I mean even the Republican Democrats, they start at that low level. They get the people in the city council and then they move them up the chain. And oftentimes it's because of leverage they can get stuff on these people. But the Jihatis are using it the exact same way. Yeah. And I think another misconception is when people hear the term jihad, they think warfare. Terrorism was like, no, giod encompasses everything. Giod is obligatory for Muslims. But that goes into you like tithing by contributing money to your local mosque, by immigrating to a non Muslim country Jesra. That's a form of jihad. You know. Outbirthing us, that's another form they have. Are outbirthing us at an exponential rate, and we're going to see, I mean, that's what's going to do us. And in the long run is Christians are not having children because they've been sold this live from culture and they are just popping out. I think on the average of five kids per family. Yeah, they're going to be the majority at some point. And we just as the church, I think we have just we are our own biggest enemy. We want to, you know, cry of out culture all the time. It's like, well, we haven't influenced culture at all. We've sat back and let the left just run over us instead of going out there in the public square and saying no, we are not standing for this. We are a Christian nation. We're going to get back to the values and morals and principles that built this country because there is objective truth and that's what we need from our elected officials. You know, you can't vote someone into office from the top down and think that's going to solve all your problems. No, we need to start going out and influencing people that are in our everyday you know, sphere, and getting those people into office who could start trying to do something. Amen to that. And you know, I mean, you know, I'm not Catholic. I've got a lot of love for my Catholic brothers and sisters. But I think we should as the church really take on one specific Catholic practice, and that's on birth control. Like the Catholic Church has been real solid on the fact that they do not support birth control. And you see these Catholic families, you know they're eight nine kids. Maybe we should start operating that way in America because within a generation we could really take it back. I completely agree. I mean, I think that's just a lie We've been sold in the West, is like oh, birth control, vasectomies, this and that, Like, you know, you could you could still have fun and not worry about having children. It's like, well, what did God intend for us to do? He intended us to multiply, And why do you say, to multiply so we could spread the gospel, so we could spread his teachings. That was the whole purpose of multiplying, was to continue in spread Christianity as far as we possibly could, but we've limited ourselves. We've significantly decreased our numbers. And we want to talk about like, oh, well, you know there's a resurgence in Christianity. Yeah, but it looks like it's going to be a temporary thing. Everybody wanted to join on the train and say I'm a Christian where they're you know, the little hats and show up to a rally, But at the end of the day, they're not practicing it. They're not practicing their faith and going out there every day and being bold and telling people about Christ and saying, hey, you know what, I I don't stand for this. I actually oppose what you're doing. But you know, too many are scared of culture. They're scared of fall big them to this woke coat or woke coats or culture and just succumb to it. You are, You've absolutely nailed it. I mean we've seen cycles like this. I remember when a Passion of the Christ came out Mel Gibson's incredible movie and there was this massive wave of people that are like, I'm Christian. Now, more recently, with the death of Charlie Kirk, we saw this massive wave of people that are like, I'm going to church. I've never been to church or I've been a church in years, and I'm going. But you're again, it's the parable of the seed, and we're seeing it. It plays out in this country so often where they hear the good news, but they're on that shallow soil and they're not going. They're not actually doing it, they're not actually living it, and they're not living in a way that I know you do and I certainly do of I don't care what happens to me on this earth, like, right, I know the end result, I know where I'm going, and because of that, I don't fear what you're going to do to this mortal body, right, And. I think we need as Christians, American Christians especially, like it's so funny, Oh I got persecuted. You know, someone told me, you know, they didn't like that I was a Christian. Oh boo hoo. Look at the rest of the world, there's real persecution going on. Look at Nigeria. Christians are being slaughtered and killed for being a Christian. That's persecution. So for you know, us as Americans to sit back, Oh, my job told me, I couldn't talk about it. Who cares. It's a job at the end of the day, it's not your life. We need to get back, we need to get back to being bold and courageous. I mean, the whole Bible is about people that were bold to the point of will I'm going to die for this. I'm gonna die because I know this to be the truth. You're giving me this humorous thought in my head of you know, this American Christian dies and goes to heaven and they're like, hey, God, I'm ready for my crown because I was persecuted because I got in Facebook jail and I didn't go to Starbucks anymore. And you got these Nigerians, you know, who literally lost their head, and God's handing out crowns to them, and he's looking at the American Christian like what. Yeah, exactly. There's that Christian comedian. I can't think of his name, but he kind of talks about that. He's like, you know, you get to heaven and he's like, how'd you die? And you're like, you know, COVID and he's like, then you look like across the ropes and it's all the people that have been killed. You know, for standing for Christ. It's like, yeah, there's gotta be a little a little difference there. There has to be some boldness. And you know, specifically when we're looking at other religions, and you know, I think Islam's probably the easiest ones for Christians to look at because of their violence. But regardless whether you're talking to you know, a Tibetan monk or a Hari Krishna, they don't. They don't really come out and play all that often anymore, but they used to. You gotta bed and stand for what you know is the ultimate truth and science, the Bible, history, it all backs us up. We got to be bold when talking to these people. And that's something that you're doing throughout Texas. Yeah, and you know that's a sad thing is I don't know where the Western Church has just been come so weak. I mean, I got to give it to Islam. The one thing I do respect about them is they're devout to their belief We're not. I mean, we want to like nitpick everything in the Bible and say, well, is this a heaven or Hell issue? Now? This is just indifference. It's like, why can't we get back to the preaching and go. No, it may not be a heaven or Hell issue, but where does it lead you? Why aren't we, you know, talking about practicing holiness and saying, yeah, we're not supposed to be part of this world, but we want to do everything possible to say, well, how can I keep one foot in the world while still being you know, identified as a Christian? And it's just it's so weak and it's no wonder that ISLAMI and even other false religions look at us like you consider yourself a religion that you know, you're saying that you have this Messiah that died for you and this is how you live, this is how you practice your faith, and it is It's It's sad, it. Truly is I. You know, I think we talked about this the last time. We were talking about kind of some of the issues with the church the last time I had you on. But yeah, these fickle milk toast pastors who do a ted talk basically with a little sprinkless scripture in there, just a little bit and nothing too controversial. We don't want to we don't want to throw in Romans one or something like that, of course not. But that's really the bulk of the churches in America these days. Right, and there's there's just no reverence. I mean you look at these non denominal chase and non denominational churches like we talked about last time. They're walking up in T shirts and ripped jeans and thinking they're cool. I don't know what what the endgame is with that. It's like, what are you trying to attract? You were You are conforming to the world. You are literally conforming to the world in every aspect of your church, from the way you dress, the music you play, the lighting. I mean you walk into a church, now, where's the light? You know, God is light and you're walking into a dark room a theater to see a performance. Now, yeah, church should not be entertaining. I would completely agree with that. Like, I don't go to church to be entertained. I don't need to see this rock band on the stage. I don't need to see the fog machines and the pastor come out and just be like, look how cool I am. I'm one of you guys. I'm wearing flip flops. Look at this. This is fun, right. I'm gonna tell you a whole bunch of stories about myself, I'm gonna make you laugh and at the end, I'm gonna make you feel kind of good. Yeah, it just it just enrages me, Like I could go on for this for hours, because what and the sad thing is these pastors are they're held to a higher standard. The Bible tells us that, and what they're doing, it's the suspicable. I would completely agree. I want to ask you something else that's interesting within Texas, and it's it's we're gonna go a little bit away from Islam here. But one of the other things that I've been watching with with Governor Abbott, who I'm no fan of either, even though I don't live there, but there's been some certain areas that have started to pass into law, no hide law. What are your thoughts on that. You know, I haven't really like dive deep into that, so I can't really speak to it, but it's Texas is kind of losing its way right now and there needs to be some big changes. Yeah, I would completely agree. Once again, it's so funny to me that this state. You know, in the Marine Corps, about half of the Marine Corps is made up of Texans. And there's a reason for that, not just because they're such a large state, but because Texans have always had this mentality of I'm going to serve you know, I love my country, I love God, and I'm going to go and serve it. And the politicians in Texas just make me want to choke somebody. I won't do it. Don't worry, ladies and gentlemen. But you know, abbit, we've already brought him up, Ted Cruz. That guy is such a farce. That guy's not a republic and he's not a conservative. No. And that's the thing. You look at these people we elect and you're like, you have conversations with these people, are like, who elected you? Like you're one? You're not charismatic at all, you have no charisma. You look like a slob. But some reason people are willing to just pour millions of dollars into you, and you keep getting re elected. But I was on a show a couple of weeks ago, and I was talking about we need to get back to voting in people that have worked for a living, blue collar workers, you know, first responders, military people that have served this country in some capacity, and go, hey, what I'm seeing is not working. I'm going to run because for the right reason, we got to get away from these attorneys. All these attorneys go to law school, they come out work for a firm, but their whole aspiration is to run for office. And they go in and they sit there free until they basically die, breaking in millions of dollars and do nothing. Some of them don't even I mean after death, they can still. I mean, Mitch McConnell's still like weekend at Bernie's over there. We've run out of time for the main show, but I want to tell everybody We're going to do another fifteen minutes, as we always do. Hey, this is Caleb Collier with Church and State. I'm here to tell you about Hunters Blend coffee. I got to tell you I absolutely love this stuff. You're over at Church and State dot Medium. We're going to go right back to our guests. Actually, we're going to go really quickly to our guests. And I'm going to do this out of order, Chris, I apologize, But first I'm going to remind you to hit the donate button and keep us alive, keep us having conversations like this. They're important, they matter, So please do hit that donate button for us. Chris is showing it to you right there. But also, and Chris, if you can bring on our guest again, let's talk about one of our great affiliates. And one of our great affiliates is Patriot Pouch. That's right right there, and so we're going to bring on Alexander again. We're going to talk a little bit about Patriot Pouch. This is some good stuff. And in fact, my brother just tried this product. He's in the Communist States of California that they don't allow the shipment of flavored nicotine, but he was able to try yours and he really really enjoyed it. But please tell us a little bit more about Patriot Pouch. Yeah, so we're technically considered a nicotine alternative, and I know when you hear alternative, it used to turn me off too, because we think about, you know, the coffee grinds or the mint leaves, and that's not what you want. You want to have that nicotine like feel and experience that nicotine buzz. Well, this product gives you that. You get a smooth, clean, relaxing buzz. But unlike nicotine, it's not going to spike your heart rate your blood pressure because it's nonvacal constrictive, So you're getting all the benefits of nicotine without the downsides. And people have you know, we've gotten great reviews so far. It's helped a lot of people get off vapes, smoking their traditional dip and even nicotine pouches because we know, like I was a huge nicotine pouch user and my blood pressure was, you know, sky high and not good for my age, and I switched to these and I was like, wow, this is this is a game change. The taste is great, It lasts a lot longer than any other pouch you could get. The pouch is softer, so it's not messing up your gums. But it's a great alternative. I'm you know, I encourage you do not hear alternative and get turned off by this. Give it a try. And I know a lot of people once they try it, they don't go back. Yeah, you know, I've tried this product and I like it. The nixodine, right, is what it is? Yes, or nixodyne, nixodine Sorry, okay, nixodine is what it is. And it's hitting the same nicotine receptors. Because that's what I think a lot of people don't understand, is God actually made us with nicotine receptors in our brain. It kind of makes you wonder, like, why did God do that? He doesn't make mistakes in his design, so why did he do that? It's a really interesting question to ask. So this is hitting the same nicotine receptors in your brain, so you're still getting that hit there, but it is a clean one. You've got four great flavors and I don't know if you're going to expand on that one, but four really really good flavors. Like I said, my brother just tried it, he loved it. And what's really interesting. I don't know if you can share too much on this, but we're talking a little bit off camera here. Some of the really blue states have become really tyrannical with nicotine and you're able to bypass that because you're not a nicotine product. Correct. So as of right now for the fdaight, we do not fall under the nicotine guidelines, so we can operate in all fifty states. We will ship to California even though they want to try to claim nicotine analogs fall under it. We believe in freedom here at Patriot Pouch, so we are going to ship to all fifty states. So place your order because we are one of the only companies that stand for freedom and won't adhere to any of these comedy flavor bands. So just I encourage you get yours today at Patriot Pouch USA dot com. I like it, yeah, so please go do that, and when you do, use the promo code, Church and State. So let him know that you heard about him through us, and get yourself a product. And what I tell people too is you know that the science is out there and nicotine does have some health benefits. And so if you're if you want to try it, you're interested in it, what could this do for me? Give it a thirty day try. And I'm sure you can attest to this. I'm sure you have clients that they're not a daily user. Maybe they're they're studying for something, or they they're working a late shift and they just need that pick me up. I'm sure you have clients that are doing it like that. Yeah, tons of them. And you know I can't make health claims, but I'll say from personal experience is I don't nearly use as many pouches of a Patriot pouch as I do when I was using nicotine pouches. The dependency is just not there. And I you know, my wife even the other days, she's like, oh, I want you to quit for two weeks just to see if you feel or experience anything. I was like, done didn't even cross my mind. I wasn't like, oh I need a pouch. So that dependency is not there with these, like when I used to go off nicotine, Like I'm a little tired. I want another nicotine pouch popping them every twenty minutes. I don't need it with these. So one, you're saving money because you're not using nearly as many throughout the day. Yeah, but I'm sure you were like, baby, I got to use my own product. Yeah, it was a good test case. There you go. Okay, all right, so once again, yeah check it out, ladies and gentlemen, Patriot Pouch USA dot com. Use that promo code Church and State. All Right. When we hit that Brake, I had made kind of a joke about some of these politicians you can even die and still be in office. And I pointed to Mitch McConnell and if you wanted to comment on that, I wanted to open it up to you. I mean, that's just the prime example of why we need term limits, and I even say age limits. We need to get younger blood in there, because I mean, look at these people. They stay in there longer than a career. They're in there forty plus years. But the whole thing is that the system's broken. If you look at why these senators stay in as long as they do, because it's a seniority based system. Everything from where they are seated, where their office is, you know what committees they're on, so it's no wonder they sit there forever. But I mean, again, this could be fixed with term limits because term limits are a great way to usher in the next generation, to train up someone who you want to replace you. But again, these people won't vote themselves out, so we're looks like we're going to be stuck. Yeah, term limits is a really interesting issue, and you know, this is one of the things that the Constitutional Convention pushes, and I am I've gone on record as being opposed to a constitutional convention because I see the inherent dangers in that because number one, what you just pointed out, I don't trust the current politicians, and those are the people they are going to be voting on. This constitutional convention scary. But term limits just taken out of all of that, and just that being a one issue, I can definitely see the argument for it, because the fact of the matter is we don't have that many Ron Poles. Okay, we had, we had Ron Paul. He was He's the og of liberty right, and term limits would have sucked if we would have gotten rid of him, but all the rest of them, I can see the argument for term limits on that. Yeah, And I mean the thing is like, yeah, he's a great example of someone we'd want to keep in. But if you have that system in place, he finds someone that aligns with his values, starts bringing him in, training him up. So when the election comes like, hey, look, this is who's going to carry on my legacy. Who's going to vote? How you want me to continue voting because we've trained him, We've shown him the way. He knows the ins and outs of this system now. But no, we don't do that. We just continue and that's where he gets back to vote in your primaries. That's the only way to get these people out. Don't just see an R next to their name and give you give them an automatic vote. Really dive into these people and see who they are, because there's a lot of great people that run for and they never get a shot because they're just you know, bull dozed by whoever has the most money. I think that's probably one of the most important things that we could be doing as Americans politically speaking, is to start really taking people to task during the primaries and to say, hey, you had your chance. You're you know, you've you've served two terms in Congress and you have voted horribly and you have not supported our interests at the local level. And because of that, we're replacing you. And the primary is such a beautiful way to do it if we just had educated and motivated voters, right, and that. Means you nailed it right there. It's it's the education aspect. And I always go back to one of my favorite verses, Hosseah four to six. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. And I mean that is true biblically, it's true in America because yeah, most people don't even know what they're talking about. And when the especially start reading these bills they put forward, you know, you have your congressman or your center, Hey, hey we're gonna vote yes on this? Well why oh, because they got their one sentence in it. Well it's filled with garbage and it's written in legally, so ninety percent of the population, unless you have some type of legal background, don't even know what it says. And this is what we're putting out. It's just it's a way to deceive the public at the end of the day because they're like, hey, these people aren't smart enough to read this, because we had a bunch of lawyers, right so unless you're in law enforcement or have a legal background, you don't know how to read these things. And then they just they pass them, and they pass them because they got their one sentence in there that they wanted, even though it's filled with a complete garbage. You know, I almost wish and this is going to kind of sound strange, but I think you'll understand where I'm going with this. I almost wish every politician, what their political races were all nonpartisan, because then it would require that the people who actually wanted to vote did the homework, and the people that were just going to be lasadaisical and don't care aren't going to vote because they're not going to put in the work. Right. That's actually a great idea there, You good. I mean, this is just a state of politics right now. It's sad because I mean, go back, you know, sixty years ago, Democrats and Republicans, they had the same end goal. They wanted the best for America, the best for Americans. They had different ways of getting there, but at the end of the day, they had the American people in mind. Now it's just I mean, they're all out for themselves and you could be a Republican have the best bill ever presented that's going to help you know, let's say help one hundred percent of Americans. Well, because a Republican's name on it, it's going to get shot down by every single Democrat. It's like, what happened and half. Within the Republican Party. Yeah, it's like what happened is saying, yeah, yeah, Republicans names on this, but this benefits all everyone. Let's get this done. It's no, it's just a never ending fight. And what we're seeing with Trump, it's like we haven't gotten anything past. We have executive orders. Well that's great. Whence he's gone, they're all going to be rescinded and we're back to where we were. It's terrible. Yeah, you know, I really get frustrated with so many politicians, especially when they're on the campaign trail. They talk about the fact that they're going to be the ones that are going to be able to reach across the aisle. Right. You hear this constantly, the political rhetoric, but the reality is that the people that are willing to reach across the aisle. Most of them are just compromisers, and most of them, especially within the Republican side, just compromise with the Democrats and we get worse laws. But what you just said, if we actually had people, you know, like Thomas Massey is a great example, right, and he has reached across the aisle and worked with Democrats on things that will benefit all Americans. That's the kind of politicians that we want. To see, right exactly, and we need more of that. But look what happened to him. I mean, that's what I can't stand. Like, I'm a President Trump supporter, but guess what, just because you support someone doesn't mean you have to agree with them on everything. And where did we have Where is this blind loyalty? When did it we sign up to have to have blind loyalty to whoever's in office. Now we're suposed to hold him accountable. We're saying we're supposed to say, hey, we voted for you for this reason, you're not holding up to what you said you're going to do. But no, it's now it's like if you speak out against him, you're you're an enemy. And people like Thomas Massey fell victim to it, and now they're out and it's ridiculous because we need to be able to hold our elected officials accountable. We should be able to call these people out. There. Shouldn't be just blind loyalty because they're who you voted for initially. I'm right there with you, you know. It's it's the equivalent of a of a young woman who gets a GOP tattoo on her lower back, you know. I mean, that's that's kind of how they're operating. It's like it's like sports teams. And I talk about this a lot on the show, like people will literally if their team does anything wrong, they'll they'll excuse it. Right now, the refs are blind. How could they even call that, well, he punched that other guy in the face. No he didn't. No, that was just like a love tap, you know. And then if the other team does anything, of course, oh, they're crying foul on this. That's how politics is operating in America. It's not supposed to no. I mean, we saw it at the beginning of the Trump administration with the disgrace Pam Bondy going after speech. It's like we just thought against this. We're the we're the ones that were saying, you can't, you know, control speech, and she wants to come in, Oh, this hates speech, Like what are we doing here like this? This is just getting insane? It is. And that's the thing that's the beauty of the First Amendment is we should allow all ideas on the table. I mean, we've been talking about Islam a lot on them today's episode. I'm sure for you, you want to be able to debate some emon, some jihattist because your ideas are based on truth and you know that you can defeat them through truth, through logic, and through the help of God. Right, I mean the whole speech thing, we could go down that rabbit hole. But with the Shiloh Hendrix in Minnesota, what just happened, It's like, what is happening in this country? Yeah, she had said that. No, I mean, I don't advocate for people saying it, but guess what, it's protected. She could say it all she wants. Do I agree with it? No, But that's the whole point of the First Amendment. The First Amendment protects offensive speech. If it didn't, we wouldn't need a First Amendment. Yeah, And it's just I mean, we're seeing it here in Texas too. We've had I'm sure you've seen it, law enforcement going out and saying, well, what you're preaching at a Christian street preachers, what you're preaching, that's offensis speech, that's hate speech. I'll ticket you. In what world? Where are we because this is one this doesn't seem like Texas and this is not a mayor if that's what's gonna start happening. So Will said, let me ask you one more question and then we'll sign off here and we're gonna go a little bit beyond that fifteen minutes. I hope you don't mind, But I recently saw a video and it was an older gentleman. They were at some sporting event and the guy in front of him, a younger man, was not signing or was not standing for the national anthem, and this older gentleman whacked him upside the head. And you know, I'm a veteran and I love this country, but honestly, I did not agree with the actions of that old man. That guy does have the right because we live in a free country. We're we're supposed to to not stand for the national anthem. And what are your thoughts on that. Yeah, I mean it gets back to if you truly respect the Constitution and what our freedoms entail. It's like, yeah, people have the right to do that. It was like the whole thing when you know it became popular to take the knee in the NFL. It's like, if they want to do it, I mean I do I agree with it. No, I think everyone should respect the flag. But guess what, that's the beauty of this country. We don't enforce things on people. They can make a stand. Now, we could get into the you know, what's a private business. They they could, you know, do certain things what they want. Yeah. Sure, but in public, if someone wants to not respect it, guess what, that just shows you who they are. It shows you that they were probably raised by some garbage parents that didn't instill patriotism in them. But they have that right here. It's we're not and Iran where they're gonna you know, behead you for you know, some blasphemy law. I think that's once again we agree completely on this one. You know, you have to respect people and their freedoms and their rights. If you love, if you claim to be a lover of liberty, otherwise you're falling prey to tyranny.
