[00:00:05] Welcome back to the Changing Earth podcast with author Sarah F. Halfway and co-host Chen Gibson.
[00:00:13] Blending Survival, Fiction and Fact to bring you entertaining education that will help you dream, survive, and thrive.
[00:00:22] And now here's your host, Sarah F. Halfway and Chen Gibson.
[00:00:29] Chapter 33. Cole Bolton out of bed.
[00:00:34] The noise of a siren warning sound pierced his ears and he threw on his pants and slipped on his boots.
[00:00:41] He took the laces inside not bothering to tie them.
[00:00:44] Monroe was absent, but he kicked a chapy.
[00:00:47] Get up, Cole insisted.
[00:00:50] Oh, what now, chapy asked curiously.
[00:00:54] Cole didn't respond.
[00:00:56] Bursting through the tent flap he ran into Al and right down coming to get him.
[00:01:01] What's going on? He wondered curiously.
[00:01:04] Chappy appeared behind him butning up his pants.
[00:01:07] We've been robbed. The bastard's killed Chavez in Ricardo.
[00:01:11] Al spat angrily.
[00:01:13] Monroe approached quickly asking, did you see which way they went?
[00:01:18] Ginger said she saw people running to the camp outside town.
[00:01:22] Cole looked for welder by the news, but we fed them.
[00:01:25] We're helping them.
[00:01:27] What's up with that chapy wondered out loud?
[00:01:29] His face fuming right out of the cleared.
[00:01:32] I say we go shoot the bastards.
[00:01:35] A sleepy berry king approached asking,
[00:01:38] What happened here, boys?
[00:01:39] Al's anger continued to increase as he explained again.
[00:01:43] They robbed us blind.
[00:01:45] We're going to find the thieves.
[00:01:47] He gripped his rifle tightly and a fierce look at determination filled his eyes.
[00:01:52] Why don't you keep these people calm here?
[00:01:55] And we'll go handle this, Cole suggested.
[00:01:57] Not wanting the situation to get out of hand.
[00:02:01] They have ever right to be pissed.
[00:02:03] What's left won't last us two weeks, Al explained.
[00:02:06] We're all headed for that fucking camp unless we can recover those supplies.
[00:02:12] Al is right.
[00:02:13] We have the upper hand right now, concurred.
[00:02:16] And do what?
[00:02:17] Create a bloodbath in the streets?
[00:02:20] People are going to die here today right now.
[00:02:23] Cole warned?
[00:02:24] We have to find that food, Virges.
[00:02:27] We're dead without it.
[00:02:28] I don't want to live in a refugee camp he pleaded.
[00:02:32] Scared of the desperation he saw unfolding, Cole warned.
[00:02:36] I swear, if any of you go starting problems before you give me a chance to settle this,
[00:02:42] Al looked offended countering.
[00:02:44] That's how it's going to be Virges defending his friend, Monroe Interjected, calmly.
[00:02:50] Al, Virges is right.
[00:02:52] He's the best interrogator I've seen.
[00:02:55] Give him a chance to get information before you go do something you may regret.
[00:03:00] Fine.
[00:03:01] But take right, Dell.
[00:03:02] You have one hour and then we're coming for our stuff, Al assured him.
[00:03:07] There won't be a need, Virges declared confidently.
[00:03:10] Walking toward the camp, Chappy told Cole,
[00:03:13] I'm going to go check out the best plan of attack just in case things go south.
[00:03:17] Be discreet, Cole cautioned.
[00:03:19] We'll do, sir.
[00:03:21] Monroe, right, Dell?
[00:03:22] You got my back?
[00:03:24] You know it, Virges Monroe confirmed.
[00:03:26] But Redell looked scared out of his mind.
[00:03:29] There's only two of us he fredged, just follow my lead Monroe ordered.
[00:03:34] Attitude is nine tenths of winning the battle.
[00:03:37] Barbara, where's Peter?
[00:03:39] Cole asked directly as they approached the refugees.
[00:03:42] She looked at Cole nervously and her voice shook as she replied.
[00:03:47] He's in with Rachel.
[00:03:49] What happened?
[00:03:50] Some of your people robbed us.
[00:03:52] And I need to talk with Peter now, Cole barked.
[00:03:54] I'll go watch Rachel and send him out.
[00:03:59] She got up from the table and quickly moved toward the building.
[00:04:02] The noise of the camp increases as the people whispered about what would happen next.
[00:04:07] Something is up, Virges Monroe whispered to him.
[00:04:10] You could hear it in her voice, Cole agreed watching Peter approach.
[00:04:15] What can I help you with, Virges?
[00:04:16] Peter wondered innocently.
[00:04:18] I think you know exactly why I'm here, Cole accused.
[00:04:21] It wasn't us, Peter, about it.
[00:04:24] Barbara told you, Cole wondered, a large group of our people last night.
[00:04:29] They didn't want to go to Vegas, Peter explained.
[00:04:32] You knew they were leaving.
[00:04:34] Did you know they were going to rob us on their way out?
[00:04:37] I knew they were leaving but I didn't know they intended to rob you.
[00:04:41] Peter said defensively, what did you think they would do?
[00:04:44] We fed you and treated your injured.
[00:04:47] And this is how you repay us, Cole asked.
[00:04:49] Just because we were walking together doesn't mean we knew each other.
[00:04:53] I just met those people a day before that.
[00:04:56] How was I supposed to know what they had planned?
[00:04:59] I heard them discussing leaving but that's it.
[00:05:01] I swear, Peter insisted.
[00:05:04] This town is screwed.
[00:05:05] They took everything.
[00:05:07] Everyone will be going to the camp, Virges explained.
[00:05:10] If two truckloads are all you had, you were probably screwed anyway.
[00:05:14] Peter explained, trying to console him.
[00:05:16] How did you know how much was there?
[00:05:18] Cole inquired.
[00:05:20] Peter looked guilty and quickly tried to explain.
[00:05:23] You just said, I said they took everything.
[00:05:27] Not how much we had.
[00:05:28] You're lying, Cole accused.
[00:05:30] I Peter stumbled.
[00:05:32] Like you didn't know they robbed us blind, Cole continued.
[00:05:35] They told me Cole commanded.
[00:05:39] They went south.
[00:05:40] Mark said he was headed to Mexico, Peter explained.
[00:05:43] Knowing he was caught in the lie.
[00:05:46] Crap, Cole cursed.
[00:05:48] Knowing they would be hard to track if they made it across the border.
[00:05:52] Peter hung his head in shame.
[00:05:54] I'm sorry, Virges.
[00:05:55] I tried to stop them but what was I going to do?
[00:05:59] Cole looked at him curiously.
[00:06:01] A alert security come tell me that would have been a good start.
[00:06:05] I couldn't.
[00:06:06] They said they would kill Barbara.
[00:06:07] Peter explained fearfully.
[00:06:10] Better they kill her than the people in that town.
[00:06:12] Peter pissed Cole explained.
[00:06:14] Listening to the noise from the mob on the other side of the fence increasing.
[00:06:18] And they're coming this way and Roe whispered do them.
[00:06:22] I tried to stop them, Virges.
[00:06:23] Chappy assured him as he approached ahead of Al.
[00:06:27] Times up Virges.
[00:06:28] They heard our food and we wanted back Al declared with his rifle ready.
[00:06:33] Let's just calm down Cole and says said half of their group left to go to Mexico last night.
[00:06:38] It wasn't them.
[00:06:39] People drew their weapons and cocked them.
[00:06:42] Their lion Virges look around.
[00:06:45] They're all still here, Al insisted looking out over the vast crowd.
[00:06:49] Peter shook his head negatively.
[00:06:51] No, people have been struggling in all day.
[00:06:55] Al was utterly infuriated.
[00:06:57] You're going to believe this crap Virges he spat angrily.
[00:07:01] Peter, we're going to have to do a search to be sure.
[00:07:05] Line your people up Cole insisted knowing there was no other way to appease Al.
[00:07:09] And this mob.
[00:07:11] Peter was utterly offended by the suggestion and knew his people would never do it.
[00:07:16] The hell you are?
[00:07:18] No one will go for that.
[00:07:20] Are we now guilty until proven innocent?
[00:07:22] You got that right.
[00:07:24] There is no more law.
[00:07:25] And if there was, you're the ones who broke it first, Al insisted.
[00:07:30] We're not responsible.
[00:07:31] And we will not be treated like this Peter gripped his rifle tighter.
[00:07:35] And everyone seemed to grow tensor.
[00:07:37] Line up.
[00:07:38] Now, Al insisted lifting his rifle.
[00:07:41] Don't point that thing at me.
[00:07:43] I will defend myself Peter insisted pointing a pistol at Al.
[00:07:47] Well, well, well, Cole cautioned.
[00:07:49] Let's slow down boys.
[00:07:51] The crowd grew restless and a man shouted.
[00:07:54] We want our food back.
[00:07:56] A man from the Refugee Squad replied, then go chase the real thieves.
[00:08:01] You know where it is, the man from the town countered.
[00:08:05] Cole fell everything unraveling and feared the worst.
[00:08:09] Everyone settled down and returned Cole was cut short as a pistol's bang drowned out the sound of the voices.
[00:08:16] Everyone seemed to pause for a moment before a woman began to scream and people started to flee running for cover.
[00:08:24] Full its rip through flashes, the weapons broke the stalemate.
[00:08:28] People cried out and pain while others screamed with the fury of war.
[00:08:32] Retreating to a safe space, Cole told the boys, this is not going to end well.
[00:08:38] We have to back up Al.
[00:08:39] Monroe advised, watching the man leading the town's people.
[00:08:43] Cole nodded, let's do it boys, round up the refugees.
[00:08:48] Monroe and Chappy replied affirmatively and right now volunteered.
[00:08:52] I can help.
[00:08:53] We have to flank them and expose their weak side.
[00:08:56] Come on Monroe instructed, the two men quietly slipped off to the right as the gun fire continued.
[00:09:01] Let's break the line on the left side, Cole suggested.
[00:09:06] Cole slowly advanced toward the refugees, signaling for Chappy to move forward.
[00:09:11] His eyes were locked on Peter knowing that if he could take out the leader, he could end the battle.
[00:09:17] quietly he slid past fighters trying to conceal himself without having to kill anyone else.
[00:09:23] His feet crunched on the ground as he approached behind Peter.
[00:09:26] The man went to turn around but Cole grabbed a hold of him and put his pistol to Peter's head.
[00:09:32] Peter, it's over.
[00:09:34] Call your people off.
[00:09:36] Peter had no choice with the barrel of Cole's pistol burrowing into his head.
[00:09:40] He called loudly to his people, put your guns down.
[00:09:44] He pointed to another one of the leaders, Max put your gun down.
[00:09:48] The shooting slowed as people realized what was happening and finally stopped.
[00:09:53] Put your guns down Peter instructed.
[00:09:55] The refugees did as they were told and wringling quish their weapons.
[00:10:00] Bloodstained the ground and people screamed in pain as others began to move about to help them.
[00:10:06] Line up against the building.
[00:10:08] Monroe, zip ties, Chappy, medical triage, Cole directed.
[00:10:12] Yes sir they replied formally, remembering their former jobs readily.
[00:10:17] Cole released Peter into right-house carousemen, Rowe tied his hands together.
[00:10:21] None of this had to happen Peter.
[00:10:23] I told you at one end while Cole barked at him.
[00:10:27] Suddenly screaming echoed across the crowd as flames ignited from the strip mall.
[00:10:32] Peter squirmed in his bonds panicking.
[00:10:34] They lit the building on fire.
[00:10:37] Rachel, Barbara, get some water on that building.
[00:10:40] People call shouted, watching the fire burn.
[00:10:43] Don't you move sir right now warned as Peter struggled to get away.
[00:10:47] Get off me he insisted with a grunt.
[00:10:50] The two men fought with one another until Peter got a hold of right-house pistol.
[00:10:55] A gunshot rang out and right-house fell to the ground gripping his leg and pain.
[00:10:59] Peter pointed the gun at the boy.
[00:11:02] Right-house Cole called blasting a bullet through Peter's chest.
[00:11:06] Showing little concern for him, Cole instructed, Chappy, get a turn of kid on his leg.
[00:11:11] Monroe, get a team and get those people out of that building.
[00:11:15] The sound was terrifying and the smell was unbearable as the injured people screamed
[00:11:20] and their bodies burned.
[00:11:22] Barbara appeared out of the smoke, shouldering her daughter.
[00:11:26] She delicately put the girl down, looking up and seeing Peter's dead body.
[00:11:32] She ran to the man in tears.
[00:11:34] Peter, Peter, no!
[00:11:36] You bastards!
[00:11:38] You killed him.
[00:11:39] She stopped.
[00:11:41] He attacked us, Cole explained.
[00:11:44] He was just trying to protect us, Barbara, and assisted angrily.
[00:11:48] Saturn by the entire scene, Cole told her calmly,
[00:11:52] you need to focus on protecting your daughter, ma'am.
[00:11:55] No, Peter, no!
[00:11:57] Barbara cried.
[00:11:59] Barry approached, somberly, telling Cole,
[00:12:02] Alice, dad, Virges, what are we going to do?
[00:12:06] We're leaving.
[00:12:07] Tell everyone to pack up.
[00:12:09] We're going to Vegas, Cole instructed, coldly.
[00:12:13] What if people don't want to go?
[00:12:15] Barry wondered, if they stay, the soldiers will be back to round them up, he answered
[00:12:19] flatly.
[00:12:21] Okay, Barry agreed.
[00:12:22] I'll get the moving.
[00:12:25] On the brink of blackouts again, as power demand reached an all-time record high overnight,
[00:12:30] slivers of the golden state plunged into darkness.
[00:12:33] Some says it expects to continue with stage six running blackouts for the rest of the
[00:12:37] day.
[00:12:44] Point zero energy has given me the American tested American assembled, reliable solar back-up that I've been looking for.

[00:13:58] Hello and welcome back to the changing Earth podcast.
[00:14:02] This is episode number 431, season 15 episode 33.
[00:14:09] Hey, 10 watts up.
[00:14:11] Hey, kids up, y'all.
[00:14:13] Yeah, we're just...
[00:14:15] That's been an interesting afternoon actually, so...
[00:14:19] Yeah, yeah.
[00:14:20] I've been playing HVAC, man.
[00:14:24] Troubleshoot in the system at the new house.
[00:14:27] Yeah, yeah.
[00:14:29] Yeah, I've been...
[00:14:32] We actually got the trailer cover on it, which was...
[00:14:36] A trick, you know, man.
[00:14:39] I'm flat-gathered on though.
[00:14:42] I have to do it myself on ours.
[00:14:44] Yeah, I'm gonna step back one-to-mitty-time and fall off the edge or something.
[00:14:49] Oh, no, we didn't want to get on top of ours, we were just...
[00:14:52] Oh, yeah, I've been nominated by it.
[00:14:54] Yeah, so we like hooked a rope to it and then pulled it all the way across.
[00:14:59] Hey, man.
[00:14:59] You're inspired to me.
[00:15:00] I like drag the whole thing up onto the roof.
[00:15:03] I tried to unfold it and kind of like hopscotch over it, so I don't like step on it.
[00:15:07] Right?
[00:15:08] And I work myself back, so I don't paint myself into corners, so I can get back off the ladder.
[00:15:14] It's probably very entertaining to watch, but...
[00:15:17] I'm like, I'm loving them.
[00:15:19] I thought the same thing, I'm like, our neighbors are probably going to...
[00:15:22] I think I deserve just something else.
[00:15:24] I'll throw the rope over there though, that's a...
[00:15:27] Yeah!
[00:15:29] We just took the tennis ball and then tied, you know, a knot in the...
[00:15:34] Try the rope around the tennis ball, that's inside of the cover, that way you got a good grip on it.
[00:15:39] And I just pull it over there.
[00:15:42] That's how my fun love with the skin of deer.
[00:15:46] What was it golf ball? He put a golf ball, like underneath the skin.
[00:15:50] He tied a rope around it.
[00:15:52] And what?
[00:15:53] Yep.
[00:15:54] Back to the ringer.
[00:15:55] That's a good idea too.
[00:15:57] See?
[00:15:58] More for your life.
[00:15:59] There you go.
[00:16:00] More for your life.
[00:16:01] Okay, change your earth.
[00:16:03] Okay.
[00:16:05] And then squirrel right off the bat.
[00:16:07] So you can see what kind of a mood we're in tonight.
[00:16:09] We're in a squirrely mood.
[00:16:10] It was getting real in the green room.
[00:16:13] We were ready to start having some group violence going on.
[00:16:20] Oh, no.
[00:16:22] Sharks of all kinds out there, man.
[00:16:24] Just sharks of all kinds are just surfing the waters.
[00:16:28] Yeah.
[00:16:29] We gotta be careful these days.
[00:16:31] So we're gonna have the blooper episode coming up soon
[00:16:34] because the second or the third block of season three just got done.
[00:16:39] So of course we've got some great bloopers from our performers.
[00:16:43] And I'm gonna be working on getting some more of the performers on the show.
[00:16:47] There's some amazing talent that does voices for the changing earth pod,
[00:16:53] or the changing earth audio drama.
[00:16:56] If you guys didn't know, you can go check it out.
[00:16:59] I have all their performers listed but there's some amazing people that do voices
[00:17:04] for that audio drama.
[00:17:06] So there are wealth of information in themselves.
[00:17:09] So we're gonna try and get some more of them.
[00:17:11] And most of them a lot of them you know from the proper broadcasting community.
[00:17:18] April coming up, going to be at the Patriot home standing conference in Illinois
[00:17:23] and then September is Prepper Camp.
[00:17:27] Those are the two biggies we have on the list.
[00:17:29] So I definitely be touting those up till the day we get to go.
[00:17:34] And I get to teach some amazing skills and have some fun.
[00:17:38] Yeah, it's got to be good.
[00:17:40] You remember, knees not.
[00:17:41] knees not not, baby.
[00:17:44] You can buy the shirt.
[00:17:46] I don't know if I should ever buy it.
[00:17:48] Yeah.
[00:17:51] So a little bit we just heard Virges chapter 33.
[00:17:56] So last week they were overwhelmed by these refugees coming for help.
[00:18:01] And this week he wakes up to the security alarm.
[00:18:07] Yep, once you know, so they were robbed.
[00:18:12] My quote of the day from the story is attitude is nine tenths of winning the battle.
[00:18:19] Yeah, that's what I teach myself to fence class.
[00:18:22] So it's all about getting confidence in yourself, getting confidence in your strong skills
[00:18:26] and that takes practice.
[00:18:28] So get out there and make it happen.
[00:18:33] So Virges is like trying to control the chaos, right?
[00:18:37] You got.
[00:18:39] You're like in the middle trying to push water.
[00:18:42] It was a water.
[00:18:43] Right.
[00:18:45] Yeah, which would be insanely just something else.
[00:18:50] Like because you think about it with the lawless environment too, right?
[00:18:54] There's no like police men going to show up and like what they're right.
[00:18:57] The shield's going to like put up a wall between the two forces.
[00:19:01] This is just straight or there's no like the people know that the cops aren't going to show up.
[00:19:06] So that whole like mentality.
[00:19:11] Yeah, they know that they don't have to behave.
[00:19:15] So they don't get in trouble with the police because there's no police.
[00:19:18] There's no law.
[00:19:19] There's no repercussions at this point.
[00:19:22] So nothing to stop you from you know besides your own moral convictions.
[00:19:28] Wow, that would just be it's just not a world that we know here in America for sure.
[00:19:35] Virges just trying to keep the peace and he's constantly getting thrown in these crazy situations.
[00:19:41] He does.
[00:19:42] He does.
[00:19:43] He's just like, come on.
[00:19:44] We're going to because he's seen it, you know?
[00:19:47] He's really been on both sides already and it's weird to be in the position in the middle where you can see both sides.
[00:19:56] And yeah, I really feel that way with like the insurance marketplace in California right now.
[00:20:02] Like you feel the pain of the customer but you also see the side of the business and like you can't.
[00:20:11] You know, so really hard position to be in would feel for Virges on that one.
[00:20:17] But he's in the middle of firearms.
[00:20:22] So.
[00:20:22] Yeah, right.
[00:20:24] Again like.
[00:20:26] Going for gunpowder and solid projectiles.
[00:20:29] Yes.
[00:20:30] So again, like a totally different situation.
[00:20:33] What you're standing in the middle.
[00:20:36] So, and then not to mention he just had like all his stuff wiped out too.
[00:20:41] So yes, house.
[00:20:42] Yeah, so you're really.
[00:20:43] And he's a whole thing he's worried about is he's going to be a refugee now, right?
[00:20:49] He's not a lamp, you know?
[00:20:51] Yeah, his lens gone now.
[00:20:53] Yeah.
[00:20:53] Obviously they've clashed Arizona as the badlands.
[00:20:57] Like nobody from there is going to be a landowner really, you know.
[00:21:02] So yes, just it's kind of crashing down around him right now.
[00:21:07] And he's still trying to do his best to maintain that peaceful situation.
[00:21:12] So so today we wanted to talk a little bit about controlling group violence if that's possible.
[00:21:20] Because you got my mentality that goes into work.
[00:21:25] And people like in a crowd are almost like the keyboard warriors where they think that, oh nobody's going to know it was me.
[00:21:35] So I could do this and like nobody's going to know it was me right?
[00:21:41] Yeah, the people that stoke the fires but like yelling stuff from inside the crowd.
[00:21:47] Yeah.
[00:21:47] And we're going stuff inside the crowd where you know if that person was out on the sidewalk all by themselves.
[00:21:53] They would never do that.
[00:21:56] Yeah, yeah.
[00:21:57] And like that first shot once that first shot goes.
[00:22:00] Yeah, so it's like you know you could be that person inside of there.
[00:22:05] When you know if you have a good background rooted in faith, you're going to understand that there is somebody always watching you.
[00:22:13] So probably not the best idea.
[00:22:17] And nowadays in our current society, we have professional agitators as well.
[00:22:23] So people that literally get paid to go out there and make the situation worse.
[00:22:29] Which is something else.
[00:22:31] To even be able to find those ads on Craigslist and whatnot.
[00:22:36] I mean, how could you possibly like, oh we're going to have a peaceful protest.
[00:22:42] But we're going to pay a professional agitator to go out there and ride everybody up.
[00:22:47] You know, it's disgusting.
[00:22:50] So planning ahead right first of all, first of all, most were all prepers.
[00:22:57] We're all into being ready to go for you know,
[00:23:01] It's just so much easier to weather the storm if you've been thinking about the storm before it happens, right?
[00:23:08] Like I got to get my flashlight's all in this spot and I got to have my, you know,
[00:23:12] Reserve water on that spot. So when the storm comes, you're ready.
[00:23:17] Same thing.
[00:23:18] And being ready for the event.
[00:23:20] Mm-hmm.
[00:23:21] You might help to keep the event from happening.
[00:23:24] Some of these events, right?
[00:23:26] Right.
[00:23:28] And at least we can have to keep your head cool when you might be tempted to join in with that
[00:23:34] mentality.
[00:23:37] So if you've already kind of thought through the situation, if this, if that, right?
[00:23:43] So definitely always want to plan, um, there's a cool article that I have,
[00:23:48] of traveling through hostile territory.
[00:23:52] And in that article we talked a lot about EDC kits that you can have in your car.
[00:23:59] For in case you're in like these emergency situations like you accidentally drove into a riot
[00:24:05] because you didn't know what was happening, right?
[00:24:07] You didn't check it before you left that kind of thing.
[00:24:11] So just some of the highlights are, you know, like a small flashlight.
[00:24:16] I have the icebreaker.
[00:24:17] It's a good self-defense piece.
[00:24:20] Of course if you can carry your carrying whistle,
[00:24:25] because whistles are just always nice.
[00:24:27] They make a lot of noise if you're in trouble and at least you get people's heads turning.
[00:24:33] Will they just be camoring you with their cell phone?
[00:24:37] Well, I can't guarantee that that won't happen.
[00:24:42] But, um, and then a handcuff key.
[00:24:43] Handcuffs keys are always pretty much essential in my thought process now,
[00:24:50] just because I know how easy it is to get a universal handcuff key.
[00:24:54] And if they have the locking mechanisms of somebody who ducks you and they have the locking mechanism on
[00:25:02] those handcuffs, it's so much easier to just have a key than not with the paperclip.
[00:25:10] It's doable.
[00:25:13] But it's just so much easier with a key.
[00:25:16] So easy to carry, easy to get.
[00:25:18] You can get like five of them for like five bucks or something on Amazon.
[00:25:22] It's super cheap.
[00:25:24] So I definitely recommend those.
[00:25:26] Some other things, you know, away I come unicating with loved ones definitely is essential.
[00:25:35] You know basics like energy bars that kind of thing, but it's good to have something to protect your eyes.
[00:25:41] We've talked about this before.
[00:25:44] You know, safety goggles at the very minimum swim goggles, ski goggles, whatever is going to help.
[00:25:52] Yeah, we did a show.
[00:25:54] And I started packing swim goggles.
[00:25:57] Yeah, yeah, because they're just great.
[00:26:00] You know if people are spraying pepper spray,
[00:26:02] yeah, catch sometimes they're hurling, you know, disgusting.
[00:26:06] Because if you can't see that kind of, yeah, slow you down a bit.
[00:26:11] Right?
[00:26:11] You don't want to get a bullet.
[00:26:12] You got that on.
[00:26:13] If you're you're coughing and gagging, if you could see, you still got a little bit of a.
[00:26:18] Yeah, and you might look like a weirdo, but you know what?
[00:26:21] Oh, wow.
[00:26:22] You can see when like others can't so I wouldn't sit back or they can't see.
[00:26:26] Right.
[00:26:28] Yeah, get the little tinted ones.
[00:26:32] Yeah.
[00:26:34] So those are really good though, and then a bandana something you can tie around your nose.
[00:26:39] I was trying to remember, then we see your supposed to soak it in something that helps.
[00:26:44] I'm lemon juice, I believe.
[00:26:46] Right.
[00:26:47] Wasn't it?
[00:26:47] Yeah, because it helped mitigate the like pepper spray and that, yeah, help neutralize it.
[00:26:55] Yeah.
[00:26:55] I thought that was awesome.
[00:26:57] Yes.
[00:26:58] So, you know, those are just good things.
[00:27:01] I mean, if you're like community, community, community community with nature and.
[00:27:10] And right, it breaks out in the forest.
[00:27:14] Oh, those darn square.
[00:27:17] This is a square.
[00:27:20] No.
[00:27:22] So yeah, if you're community in a city, you better have some kind of EDC care women and guys.
[00:27:28] You're wearing like the little off issues heels.
[00:27:32] Oh my gosh, you know.
[00:27:34] You guys.
[00:27:34] I was a thing.
[00:27:35] I know a lot of the city workers they would wear like sneakers and stuff in the work.
[00:27:41] Yes.
[00:27:41] Which is their shape.
[00:27:42] Which suits your shoes.
[00:27:44] Yeah, right?
[00:27:45] Which was good for a lot of reasons, right?
[00:27:47] Yeah, even in like the snow weather, the cold weather like we're having now.
[00:27:50] I mean, look at all the cars that were just like couldn't charge in Chicago.
[00:27:54] So you were going to like drive your electric car to work and all you put on where your heels.
[00:28:01] And now your car is like done not taking a charge in your out in the middle of nowhere.
[00:28:07] Uh, yeah, you better have some other shoes.
[00:28:10] So always a good idea.
[00:28:12] I always had I always tried to wear shoes when I was in an office that were.
[00:28:19] Um, that's what I'm saying.
[00:28:20] Office appropriate.
[00:28:22] Yeah, comfortable.
[00:28:23] Yeah.
[00:28:23] Yep.
[00:28:24] And then a lot of times I'd have spare shoes stashed at the office so just in case.
[00:28:30] Yeah.
[00:28:32] Yeah, it's a good idea.
[00:28:33] Definitely a good idea.
[00:28:35] Even like extra clothing, that kind of thing.
[00:28:38] So as far as clothing, you definitely don't want to stick out at all.
[00:28:41] Like, you want to be in like a magnet in the middle of.
[00:28:46] Yeah.
[00:28:47] In the middle of anti far or something.
[00:28:50] Um, you know, there's a time to play.
[00:28:52] Guys and if you're just the one in the middle of a mob, you don't want to be that one in the middle of a mob.
[00:28:58] Um, not a good idea.
[00:29:00] You better be self-taught.
[00:29:01] I guess it could tell her.
[00:29:02] Right.
[00:29:03] The great man is a good.
[00:29:05] Yeah.
[00:29:06] Just have a grace sweatshirt or something with you.
[00:29:09] Or you match match whatever the.
[00:29:11] Exactly.
[00:29:12] It the dresses of wherever you're trying to.
[00:29:15] Like, the police can see two that you're not in the same outfit.
[00:29:19] A tire as most of the other protesters.
[00:29:22] Yet the protesters don't see you as being that like off of what they're in.
[00:29:27] So that's why I say gray is really good.
[00:29:30] It's the gray man, you know?
[00:29:32] I love in the movies where the people always have like a two-sided jacket or sweater.
[00:29:37] Whatever.
[00:29:38] Flip it around.
[00:29:39] Yeah.
[00:29:40] We actually, um, when I was part of the survival.
[00:29:44] Oh, I was doing a survival training program.
[00:29:47] We were like in the city and trying to trail somebody and we all had our own like
[00:29:51] Little section of the town and we had to see like when they entered our section and write it down
[00:29:56] and follow them around what they did, you know?
[00:30:00] When they entered our, uh, exit at our quadrant and then we all compared notes the end.
[00:30:05] Very cool exercise.
[00:30:06] And one of the chicks that we are following.
[00:30:08] She did that.
[00:30:09] She went to a store and like switched her hat, turned her jacket out the other way and everything.
[00:30:14] And then tried to like walk out with a group of people but we saw our split off and we were like,
[00:30:19] Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, so I was fun.
[00:30:23] Good exercise to do.
[00:30:26] Give us something to think about.
[00:30:28] Okay, squirrel again.
[00:30:30] But having those options, having options as a great idea.
[00:30:34] And that all comes in the planning part, right?
[00:30:36] You never know when this is going to happen.
[00:30:40] If I have to like go into Dallas because I'm taking somebody that airport you can bet my EDC
[00:30:46] K is going to be a larger preparation item for me when I'm going there rather than when I'm going five minutes into my town.
[00:30:55] You know, great.
[00:30:57] It's still important to be ready wherever you are.
[00:30:59] You have the one that I carry all the time, but my carry a little bit more when I'm going into like a city like Dallas, you know.
[00:31:07] And if you live there, you need to be ready all the time, you know?
[00:31:12] But it's to me, it's been the past few years where this stuff like sparks up.
[00:31:17] I mean, some of these small towns are having demonstrations that really blows fine.
[00:31:23] Yeah, one of the articles that I was reading about where they're housing a lot of the,
[00:31:29] illegal aliens that are coming in is they're actually putting up like housing places in rural areas.
[00:31:37] So that means that you're not going to be immune just because you're in a rural area.
[00:31:43] You know, you still need to be thinking about it and women.
[00:31:47] Guys, you got to be thinking self defense at this point like we have just been so cushioned by our society to not like we're secure wherever we go.
[00:31:58] It doesn't matter. And you can see it happening in Germany like their sexual assault is skyrocketing.
[00:32:05] I was just thinking about look at Europe and the assault on women in Europe because of immigration.
[00:32:13] Right.
[00:32:13] And just plan ahead.
[00:32:15] Those immigrants are coming from a different reality.
[00:32:18] Yeah.
[00:32:19] It's like letting the wolf loose inside of, you know, the henhouse where all the hands have been, you know,
[00:32:27] have been pampered and held in the dogs, lick them and whatnot.
[00:32:32] And I mean, sorry for my analogy there, but it's true, right?
[00:32:39] You just don't think about that here. We're safe.
[00:32:42] We have our law enforcement where, well, guess what? You better start thinking about it. You better be self defense ready.
[00:32:49] Get out to one of my classes. We'll start on it. Get into a martial arts school. There's so many martial arts schools.
[00:32:56] You can find one that fits in your area. So just really it now is the time.
[00:33:04] It's not going to get any better for a while until we can get this under control.
[00:33:09] So, okay. Major school.
[00:33:13] All right. So another way of controlling my mentality and violence in a situation is by making connections.
[00:33:24] So you get helps people understand where you're coming from, but that's not like a personal level.
[00:33:31] I'm also thinking like, if you had a group of seven people say you were going out to dinner, that kind of thing because we talked a lot about how to survive
[00:33:38] in a variety of ways. I've been with Ben Brennan and another article that I did, let me pull the name of it.
[00:33:46] It's called crowd control. It was back when we were doing Dark Days in Denver.
[00:33:52] And he talks about how to move through crowds in that, but at least if you have a group of people, you can stick together
[00:34:00] and protect each other.
[00:34:03] I've been in a riot situation and I'm very little, right?
[00:34:08] So easily for me is very easy for me to get lost in the crowd.
[00:34:14] So being able to just connect hands, hang on to belts, that kind of thing.
[00:34:19] So that as we're moving through, we all stick together.
[00:34:23] It's really, really important.
[00:34:26] Hopefully you could talk sense to people, but I'm concerned in that mob attitude, right?
[00:34:33] That all.
[00:34:34] It's some of this is the environment too.
[00:34:36] Like if you're in a, in a work like a work related violence,
[00:34:42] yeah, scenario that that making a connection is probably a lot more useful or like an,
[00:34:49] domestic squabble, like if you're in apartment building and there's a domestic squabble or something.
[00:34:55] The making it, like getting the person out of the red zone and seeing the other individuals as people, you know what I mean?
[00:35:05] You could talk with them more rashly because once they go red, you know that once they're seeing red,
[00:35:11] it's, it's hard to rationalize with a valuable conversation,
[00:35:17] because they just go on the defense, then everything's in a tack.
[00:35:22] Everything's a motion, like it's all emotion.
[00:35:25] It's just raging emotions.
[00:35:28] Yeah.
[00:35:31] That's a, that's a hard one to overcome.
[00:35:33] It takes a lot of, a lot of, a lot of things.
[00:35:36] The bigger the group though, it's the harder that's going to be.
[00:35:39] I mean, if, if you're in a mob out in the streets, I don't know.
[00:35:44] Right.
[00:35:45] How to talk them down.
[00:35:47] And I don't know if it's working.
[00:35:48] Just you're going to be coming target.
[00:35:50] If you're not in a large group, and you're trying to talk them down,
[00:35:55] you, you're going to become the target.
[00:35:57] Yeah.
[00:35:58] Look at, you've made an example of what happened with the kid.
[00:36:03] And he was trying to talk him down, and he became the total target on that kid up north that had to defend himself.
[00:36:12] Right.
[00:36:13] Right now, Kyle.
[00:36:14] Right now.
[00:36:14] You know, he's trying to do the right thing and the right time.
[00:36:18] And yeah, you just become that target,
[00:36:21] that, and especially when you're in the loan, when you're alone.
[00:36:25] So that would be something, you know, I would, I would make sure I'm with my group.
[00:36:31] You know, and if you're by yourself, you can just get yourself out of there.
[00:36:34] Yeah.
[00:36:35] You just gotta get yourself out.
[00:36:37] That's where you just have your EDC kit start working your way to the edge.
[00:36:41] Go with the flow, but also moving to the edge all the time.
[00:36:46] Yeah.
[00:36:48] Um, another thing that Ben said was like, throw yourself at a cop.
[00:36:53] Right.
[00:36:54] Like you might get beat a little bit by the cop, but at least they're going to like grab you and pull you into the other.
[00:37:00] Yeah, you're going to be putting in another group, you know, where you can be like,
[00:37:04] I'm sorry.
[00:37:05] I just wanted to say, you know, so then you could sort it all out after,
[00:37:10] at least you're not in the streets anymore.
[00:37:12] Right, you're in the wrong place at the wrong time already.
[00:37:15] So I mean, okay, so stay calm and control yourself.
[00:37:20] I like that one because, and that's part of planning.
[00:37:25] That's part of knowing like, okay, I know what to do.
[00:37:29] I don't want to get involved in this or maybe you were involved in it.
[00:37:34] Maybe you did come as a peaceful protest and now it's escalating to a place that you don't want to be in.
[00:37:39] Right.
[00:37:40] Yeah.
[00:37:41] So because I really believe that peaceful protest is good, we need to do that.
[00:37:47] We need to let the people's voices be heard, but we don't need to be blocking traffic.
[00:37:52] We don't need to be causing property damage.
[00:37:55] There's all kinds of things against your your cause.
[00:37:58] Right.
[00:37:59] It just makes you look really bad.
[00:38:01] Good.
[00:38:02] And if you're in a situation where you came to peacefully protest and now it's turned into something that,
[00:38:08] hmm, maybe I don't want to be a part of this anymore.
[00:38:12] The ability to stay calm and control yourself is going to be essential to get yourself out of there before, you know, things go to the point where you're not, you're not comfortable with it anymore.
[00:38:25] So that's a really good one.
[00:38:26] I think that goes back to planning a lot.
[00:38:29] We haven't planned then it can just kind of split hard to stay calm.
[00:38:33] Yeah.
[00:38:33] And you're just like, oh no.
[00:38:36] I didn't realize it was going that way.
[00:38:39] But if you already have like, it's like that muscle memory.
[00:38:42] If you already have some scenarios played out that if this happens, you're going to do this.
[00:38:46] Then it's easier to calmly roll into that scenario as opposed to like, oh, what am I going to do?
[00:38:52] Yeah.
[00:38:53] Oh, no.
[00:38:54] Oh, no.
[00:38:54] We need to plan be it.
[00:38:55] And I hadn't thought of that.
[00:38:56] It did your face in time, right?
[00:38:57] Yeah.
[00:38:58] And you get excited and that can help you know, like, oh, well, I'm just going to go with it now because we're all
[00:39:03] already here.
[00:39:04] You know, like, no.
[00:39:07] Nope.
[00:39:07] You still got the choice.
[00:39:09] You always have a choice.
[00:39:12] All right.
[00:39:12] So asking questions on a personal level you ask questions like, why are you so upset?
[00:39:17] What is going on?
[00:39:19] Let's go.
[00:39:19] Let's get to the root of the situation.
[00:39:22] That's one tough even on a personal level.
[00:39:24] This is more small, small.
[00:39:27] Yeah.
[00:39:28] And it's tough.
[00:39:29] Because some people like to like go away angry.
[00:39:32] Yeah.
[00:39:33] And then like they sorted out in their own head before they can come back and even answer questions
[00:39:38] like sometimes if you hit people with S2 hard to fast, they're going to just like you say they're
[00:39:43] already in the red zone.
[00:39:46] But I like that the article was saying like a lot of times argument spiral out of control and
[00:39:53] lose focus.
[00:39:54] Mm-hmm.
[00:39:55] But it was originally being discussed with Spark.
[00:39:59] So if you could stay pointing in a direction and try to resolve the issue as opposed to just
[00:40:06] getting there.
[00:40:07] And like even Virges in our story, you know, that's what he's, you know, what happened.
[00:40:12] He's doing how to, yeah, he's the interrogator, right?
[00:40:15] Yeah.
[00:40:16] He's always trying to get to the bottom figure out the information that's relevant so that they can make an informed plan.
[00:40:22] And that's really what you've got to be doing, you know?
[00:40:26] What's the next point?
[00:40:28] And asking questions of people within the mob, you know, maybe you can get other people to kind of realize like, hey, what are we doing now?
[00:40:35] You know, what's going out with that?
[00:40:38] Why are we doing that?
[00:40:39] Oh, okay.
[00:40:39] That sounds good for you.
[00:40:42] But maybe not for me.
[00:40:44] I'm going to start like dance myself towards that.
[00:40:46] I'm getting up a little bit.
[00:40:47] Yeah.
[00:40:48] So they're not this big blob of angryness.
[00:40:52] And then if other people realize that everybody is not on board for doing something violent, maybe that part of the mob can overtake the mob that is violent.
[00:41:03] I've seen that happen before, you know, where people are like, no, no, no, you know, stop that to those people that would be the outliers.
[00:41:11] Or the professional agitators, right?
[00:41:13] I was just going to say, we were, we had talked about the professionals, you know, being busted.
[00:41:20] You might be able to get the people, the peaceful protesters to see that they're being, you know, do.
[00:41:27] I'm like, hey, how good of an idea is that, you know?
[00:41:31] And yeah, you do put yourself at that risk.
[00:41:34] I'd make sure you have a group with you who's like, you know, because you need to be able to stand tall and protect each other.
[00:41:41] So right time in place, what can you do to, you know, is it worth making that difference? You got a way to risk versus the reward.
[00:41:51] All right. So reflecting back, you know, again, really good in for interpersonal, you know, to reflect back on what people have been saying like you said, you can squirrel off really easily.
[00:42:05] Like, no, you're your key points for this, that and this, you know, our current goals going to solve this, that and this, you know, are we, are we still on point here.
[00:42:16] So I do see that as a focus item.
[00:42:20] And you know, it could work in a mob mentality because you were like, hey, we came out here to be peaceful, you know?
[00:42:26] All right.
[00:42:27] Make people start thinking about their actions, that kind of thing.
[00:42:31] Right. We were trying to, you know, affect changes. Is this going to help us kind of think, you know?
[00:42:37] Right.
[00:42:39] You know what, well, are we really here to do today?
[00:42:45] All right. And then last time our list positive language.
[00:42:52] I agree again, because you don't want to be the one who is using any kind of talk that would fire people up even more.
[00:43:04] All right.
[00:43:04] If you're out for a peaceful protest is because you have a plan, you have wants certain things addressed.
[00:43:13] And I always just challenge people like, how can you refase that in a more positive way?
[00:43:18] How can we keep the light shining? You know, I went to a monastery school.
[00:43:24] So it was always like, you don't call somebody an A whole. You say you're acting like an A whole.
[00:43:31] And that way you, you know, are not like putting that blame onto somebody.
[00:43:37] But rather showing them like, hey, you could be acting differently than you are right now.
[00:43:41] So, and I don't know even in an argument like if somebody's being too positive.
[00:43:51] You just get it like, just think about it.
[00:43:55] Yeah, it was like you just be a jerk now really.
[00:44:00] Just a pop in and nose.
[00:44:02] Yeah, it's like my husband and I are arguing about something.
[00:44:06] He starts going off with that and just going to be like whatever you're just saying, like, and turn now.
[00:44:10] Forget it. You're not going to see me anymore.
[00:44:13] You know, so I would dance.
[00:44:18] Don't rock the call, maybe you need support.
[00:44:19] Oh yeah. Yeah.
[00:44:23] No, communication is the key, like you said, even at the beginning.
[00:44:29] That's the key to everything and really the key to not kidding in one of those giant arguments
[00:44:36] is being able to communicate clearly through whatever emotions because they're just emotions.
[00:44:44] And you're probably going to be looked back in 80 years and be like, wow, did that really matter at all?
[00:44:49] No, so why did we care? Why were we fighting about it, you know?
[00:44:57] Already, let's go ahead and get into some changing earth news.
[00:45:02] I'll go ahead and throw some music up.
[00:45:06] That's the last day we had a long read today.
[00:45:23] So, all right, change it or new.
[00:45:27] I just like doing it that way. I don't know.
[00:45:30] I'm weird.
[00:45:32] We got a solar flare inbound.
[00:45:35] It should not be too scary, but we should see some good or more.
[00:45:39] I'll talk about crazy things.
[00:45:40] All the streets.
[00:45:41] Yeah, no.
[00:45:43] Yes, that is a valid point.
[00:45:45] I'm going to have to gear up for that. It's supposed to hit tomorrow.
[00:45:49] See, now Monday, it'll be just great at work, bunch of questions.
[00:45:56] I'm feeling the solar radiation and I can't take it anymore.
[00:46:02] It's funny to watch.
[00:46:05] But it was really cool actually if you guys want to go check out some suspicious observers for today.
[00:46:11] It was a really beautiful plasma release that happened.
[00:46:15] It was a pretty gorgeous sun event.
[00:46:20] And Ben from suspicious observers was on the temple show.
[00:46:26] Yeah, like two hour live specials.
[00:46:29] Like the best, most downloaded.
[00:46:31] So I'm so excited that he's getting more mainstream platforms to listen to his theories
[00:46:39] because so many of the studies that we do today, they don't even take the sun into account.
[00:46:46] What's happening with our planet?
[00:46:48] Like, could you imagine a bigger driving force than the sun on the earth?
[00:46:52] I mean, hello.
[00:46:55] So, yeah, so I'm so excited that he's getting more mainstream attention.
[00:47:01] That is awesome because that's the only way we can really prepare as a society for what's coming
[00:47:06] and expect to hold on to any type of civility through the event.
[00:47:12] Also, they found like one of the biggest oil reserves on Titan, which is a moon of Saturn
[00:47:21] and how many dinosaurs and forest do you think were on Titan?
[00:47:26] I don't know.
[00:47:27] Right?
[00:47:28] Like, I wouldn't assume any because it's pretty far away from the sun.
[00:47:31] So are they really fossil fuels?
[00:47:36] Tain any?
[00:47:37] We need to start a space tanker.
[00:47:40] Right?
[00:47:41] How old are we?
[00:47:43] Mowgles, sir.
[00:47:44] I know.
[00:47:46] We're going to hook up with moss and just going to be out there.
[00:47:50] I could do it.
[00:47:51] I could leave there.
[00:47:53] But yeah, so how much do we really know?
[00:47:56] I'm going to say nothing.
[00:47:58] We just think we know a whole lot.
[00:48:01] So back to the drawing board on all that stuff for them.
[00:48:06] All right, so let's jump into some serious earth news on the 15th.
[00:48:10] There was 383 earthquakes.
[00:48:13] There were 2.0 or bigger, biggest of which was a 5.4 in Russia.
[00:48:18] Reunion, meritos got hit by the tropical cyclone.
[00:48:23] 105 mile an hour winds, heavy rain flooding.
[00:48:26] A hundred vehicles in the capital city alone just annihilated floating down the road destroyed.
[00:48:34] Two people did die in that event, unfortunately.
[00:48:37] So that was a big tropical cyclone that smashed right into the island.
[00:48:41] That island is off of the western coast of Africa if you're curious.
[00:48:48] In the United States, western New York got hit with two feet of snow over the weekend before the 15th.
[00:48:56] They had 60 mile an hour winds rolling through there.
[00:48:59] There's a travel ban issued buffalo airport got 8.6 inches of snow breaking a record.
[00:49:09] And unfortunately three people did lose their lives in that event.
[00:49:14] 8.6 inches?
[00:49:15] 8.6 inches.
[00:49:18] Yeah.
[00:49:19] In hellish time.
[00:49:20] Over the weekend.
[00:49:22] So it would have been like that.
[00:49:23] But it's not that much snow.
[00:49:24] 8.6 inches or feet.
[00:49:27] It's that 8.6 inches.
[00:49:30] Anches.
[00:49:32] Yeah, that's true.
[00:49:32] It would be small amount.
[00:49:34] I had, you like, that I left the north.
[00:49:39] All right.
[00:49:40] We're going to be snowstorms over a foot.
[00:49:43] What's the buffalo, New York?
[00:49:47] I had to be more than unless it was like in a short time period.
[00:49:52] I'll see if I wrote it down.
[00:49:54] I mean, get nasty snowstorm.
[00:49:56] Like a fix.
[00:49:57] That's what it was.
[00:49:59] It was a giant like a perfect.
[00:50:00] Yeah.
[00:50:00] They came in.
[00:50:02] Oh, no.
[00:50:02] You're right.
[00:50:03] 8.6 foot.
[00:50:05] Yeah.
[00:50:05] Yeah.
[00:50:06] That's a snowstorm.
[00:50:07] Yeah.
[00:50:08] Because they dig out from six feet.
[00:50:11] You're right.
[00:50:12] All right.
[00:50:14] Good way to go.
[00:50:14] Factor.
[00:50:15] Factor.
[00:50:17] See mainstream.
[00:50:20] We've got factory.
[00:50:23] There was a mixture of paid attention.
[00:50:25] Not paying for your kids.
[00:50:26] Yeah.
[00:50:27] Yeah, the background.
[00:50:29] A Florida got hit by two tornadoes.
[00:50:32] One in St. Lucy, one in Martin, Martin counties.
[00:50:36] Two more Florida tornadoes, which is like I've never heard of so many tornadoes in Florida.
[00:50:42] Ever.
[00:50:43] I don't know the history of it.
[00:50:45] Gotta look that one up.
[00:50:47] And then also another tornado hit in Argentino in the Providence of Choco property damage.
[00:50:55] Nobody passed away, but there was some severe property damage from that tornado coming
[00:51:00] through.
[00:51:02] On the 16th there was 426 earthquakes or 2.0 bigger.
[00:51:06] Biggest of which was a 5.1 in Indonesia.
[00:51:10] And Turkey there was flooding pretty massively.
[00:51:13] And the Argentino also had a massive storm that engulfed Uruguay as well.
[00:51:19] Power outages and flooding in the Philippines.
[00:51:24] Mindonno island.
[00:51:26] There was a massive flooding event happening there with landslides.
[00:51:30] Seven people, unfortunately lost their lives.
[00:51:33] And one of the landslides that landed on top of a home.
[00:51:36] It was five children and two adults that passed away.
[00:51:39] And then 10 more people were missing.
[00:51:44] In Chile they have seven major forest fires burning.
[00:51:47] In Maui San Javier that's where the worst of the fires is two communities are threatened.
[00:51:54] And one firefighter unfortunately lost his life when his plane clipped a power line.
[00:52:00] And then it went across the road and two automobiles were in the wreck as well.
[00:52:06] On the 17th of January there was 393 earthquakes.
[00:52:12] Our 2.0er bigger.
[00:52:13] Biggest of which was a 6.4 in Tonga.
[00:52:16] And southwestern Brazil they had a wild storm.
[00:52:19] It was the same one that hit Argentina and you're at why the day before.
[00:52:23] Hit them in one hour alone.
[00:52:26] They had 2.7 inches of rainfall, which caused flooding.
[00:52:30] The roof had been pulled off a lot of the businesses and homes from the wind.
[00:52:34] So they had power outages and all kinds of good fun down there.
[00:52:40] And northwestern United States they had an ice storm.
[00:52:43] So we're talking in western parts of Washington and Oregon,
[00:52:49] including Eugene got hit with this storm.
[00:52:52] 85,000 people without power.
[00:52:55] I wonder if JB is listening if she was feeling that the chill.
[00:53:01] From the storms I know we are over here still.
[00:53:08] So Oregon got it as well.
[00:53:11] Two people did die power line fell on their car and they think that one of the people got out of the car.
[00:53:17] They got electrocuted.
[00:53:19] So that's just crazy.
[00:53:22] That would suck.
[00:53:24] Prayers for their families.
[00:53:26] In southwestern Canada, they also got hit by that same storm.
[00:53:30] BC took it hard Vancouver.
[00:53:33] They had to cancel a bunch of flights and one person died.
[00:53:36] He was walking down the highway and he got hit by the snow plow.
[00:53:40] So that sucks.
[00:53:42] But in eastern Syria they had some serious flash flooding.
[00:53:47] Lots of refugee camps.
[00:53:49] There are only tents and they got annihilated by the flooding situation.
[00:53:53] Now there are a lot of those are refugees from when the earthquake hit Turkey.
[00:53:57] And hit Syria so not the best sequence of events for those people there.
[00:54:07] On the 18th there was 393 earthquakes at our 2.0 or bigger.
[00:54:11] Biggest of which was a 6.4 in Tonga.
[00:54:14] Heavy rain and flash flooding happening in Sydney, Australia.
[00:54:18] And they're also keeping their eyes on a cyclone that's getting ready to take it.
[00:54:25] Head towards Queensland, Australia.
[00:54:28] So heads up on that one guys.
[00:54:30] That one's supposed to be coming like middle of the week.
[00:54:33] In the northwestern part of the United States, they've seen a ton of rain in northern California.
[00:54:39] Humboldt County had to issue a local emergency declaration due to flooding there.
[00:54:45] And also there's been historic flooding on the east coast as well from Boston to Cape Ann.
[00:54:52] Cape Ann.
[00:54:55] On the 19th there was 382 earthquakes at our 2.0 or bigger.
[00:54:59] Biggest of which was a 5.6 in Colombia.
[00:55:03] There was a 5.1 earthquake that hit Azerbaijan.
[00:55:07] Did some damage over there and a 5.7 earthquake that hit Colombia.
[00:55:12] The Dominican Republic of Congo has seen the worst flooding that it has seen in 60 years.
[00:55:18] One point eight million people have been affected by the flooding there.
[00:55:23] 350,000 people are in need of lifesaving aid.
[00:55:29] In Montana they're having ice jams causing flooding.
[00:55:33] They're just the ice just flooding up rivers and stuff.
[00:55:37] And causing those rivers to overflow, causing flooding there.
[00:55:41] And all of northern California has really much just getting annihilated by a rainstorm right now.
[00:55:47] On the 20th there was 374 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger.
[00:55:52] Biggest of which was a 6.6 in Brazil.
[00:55:55] Luckily it was a very deep earthquake so it didn't cause a lot of damage on top.
[00:56:00] Which is very good.
[00:56:02] There was a 5.3 in the interior area of Alaska.
[00:56:06] So usually we see the illusion islands getting lit up by earthquakes.
[00:56:11] This one did happen on the interior part of Alaska.
[00:56:14] There's a 4.6 earthquake that rocked Athens grease and a 6.2 earthquake that happened down in New Zealand.
[00:56:22] And Mount Marapi and Indonesia has erupted again.
[00:56:25] They also have their eyes on another volcano there.
[00:56:29] Actively evacuating people out of the area because it's making so much noise.
[00:56:34] On the 21st there were 361 earthquakes are 2.0 or bigger.
[00:56:38] Biggest of which was a 5.4 in Argentina.
[00:56:40] There was a 6.3 in western Brazil.
[00:56:44] Same thing, nice deep earthquake.
[00:56:46] 5.6 in eastern Glomia and a 6.2 in the Mariana Islands.
[00:56:53] Also a 5.4 in Argentina.
[00:56:56] So man, the earthquake activity is getting just kick and upright.
[00:57:00] Now I just assume it's due to a lot of the solar activity that we're seeing.
[00:57:04] And the solar activity is supposed to be back on the end crease here in the next couple weeks.
[00:57:08] So we'll see what kind of activities starts coming our way.
[00:57:13] Also with all that earthquake activity you'd expect to see some more volcanoes erupting in the next couple weeks.
[00:57:19] But it's always good when we have deep earthquakes that release the pressure of our planet without doing a lot of damage on top.
[00:57:28] In the UK storm, Esha hits with 90 mile an hour winds, tornado warnings across the island.
[00:57:36] Thousands of people there without power.
[00:57:39] So they've just been getting wall up this winter with massive storms.
[00:57:43] And then Texas is also bracing for the next rain system that is inbound, supposed to hit us tomorrow.
[00:57:51] So it really hasn't warmed up.
[00:57:52] I think we had one day where it was a little bit warmer.
[00:57:55] Other than that, it's been so cold down south right now.
[00:58:00] As far as volcanoes, can't be flagrae still on the watch list.
[00:58:05] That's a super volcano that's over in Italy.
[00:58:08] So definitely keep an eye on that one.
[00:58:11] The situation in Iceland has gotten worse.
[00:58:15] There are features actively opening in Green of Vic now and homes that are getting burned up and stuff like that.
[00:58:23] So pretty much what they were fearing is happening.
[00:58:27] It's just kind of a slow burn.
[00:58:29] So I don't know how much of the city will be lost or what the end result there will be.
[00:58:37] There are 27 volcanoes actively erupting on our planet.
[00:58:41] That's the same number as we had last week.
[00:58:43] There are 16 sure showing minor activity.
[00:58:46] That's down one and there are 33 showing unrest.
[00:58:49] That's up one wildfire stats in the United States.
[00:58:52] Zero states are reporting because it is so dang cold and wild there.
[00:58:57] No, it's going outside.
[00:58:59] Yeah, that I feel like you're hurting.
[00:59:01] Yeah, what did I do?
[00:59:04] Yeah, let it go so we can stay at one.
[00:59:08] So no, no, it is bad.
[00:59:12] But there you guys.
[00:59:15] Alright, so I'm almost done putting together the last part of season three of the changes.
[00:59:21] The audio drama we're going to pick an aerodate soon.
[00:59:25] I'm just not close enough to do that yet, but we're almost there.
[00:59:29] Of course, go over and listen to all of the episodes over at changingearseeries.com.
[00:59:35] Become a subscriber.
[00:59:37] Really appreciate the help.
[00:59:38] I'm trying to travel more and I really don't want to have to charge people for doing this self-defense
[00:59:46] and the anti-kidnapping and sexual violation classes that I do.
[00:59:50] So the more subscribers that I have, the more help I get through the website, the more of a reality
[00:59:55] I can make that.
[00:59:57] And so I added another event this year and we'll just see what I can do as far as getting the word out
[01:00:04] to as many people as possible, getting as many people as possible self-defense ready
[01:00:09] and knowledgeable how to protect their loved ones, their grandkids, that kind of stuff from all the threats
[01:00:15] that I've got to swirl around these days.
[01:00:18] So really, like I said, I don't want to have to put a paywall up there.
[01:00:21] I just don't think that is fair to charge people to learn how to defend themselves
[01:00:26] when some of the financially struggling people.
[01:00:32] That's your biggest risk right there.
[01:00:35] So right!
[01:00:36] So I don't want to do that.
[01:00:38] Some more subscribers that get the better WWE.cangernesseries.com.
[01:00:42] I really appreciate everything you guys do and hopefully we'll see maybe day after
[01:00:47] disaster on the big screen soon.
[01:00:50] We're still still pushing along so we'll see what we can get.
[01:00:56] But I love doing this show.
[01:00:59] Thanks, Chan, as always for joining me.
[01:01:03] Just, you know, with everything that's facing us.
[01:01:06] Did you hear the trumpet commaders say we're like siblings?
[01:01:10] That's right.
[01:01:12] It's what it was daily things, yeah.
[01:01:14] I'm like, yeah.
[01:01:15] Free for jet.
[01:01:16] That's it.
[01:01:17] My brother from another mother.
[01:01:19] That's the chemistry right there.
[01:01:21] So true.
[01:01:22] So true.
[01:01:23] It's like, I got your back.
[01:01:24] You got my back.
[01:01:25] But I'm gonna call you out.
[01:01:26] Yeah, I got you.
