[00:00:17] Hello everyone out there on internet radio land, this is Dave Jones, the NBC guy. How are you doing on this wonderful Friday? Friday, Friday, Friday. Cyber attack Friday, huh? They say it wasn't a cyber attack, but at this point can you believe anything that they say?

[00:00:54] I think not. I think not. More things are coming to light about the assassin or would be assassin. Actually, he is an assassin because he killed two people. Gosh. I wonder what Trump is going to do for those families.

[00:01:18] I'm confident that he is going to do something for them because that's the kind of guy he is. Okay? Those bullets were meant for him and they hit innocent bystanders. Gosh, gosh, I can hardly imagine. I can hardly imagine.

[00:01:40] Anyway, let's talk about what happened today since the intrepid commander told everybody that I'd be on today. I wanted to talk turkey because we finished butchering the turkeys today and yes, I look like Hannibal Lecter.

[00:02:01] I am going to the convenience store to get another bag of ice because we may continue on tomorrow with chickens, the roosters. The roosters have to go to freezer camp. Yeah, so I'm going to go in there and everybody's going to step aside because I'm covered in

[00:02:24] blood spatter. Turkeys are tough, man. They were around 20 pounds each and powerful. Man, these things are powerful. Anyway, it was quite the circus. When the reports started coming in about the massive outage, which I guess is the biggest outage in the history, yes, something like that.

[00:03:01] Of course, I have a cyber person in the family now, Alex, and I said, hey, any problems at your work? He said, no. The only thing I can't do is get into my outlook. So for everybody that uses outlook, this was a very bad day for your communications.

[00:03:26] And the first thing I thought of immediately was, well, maybe China's going into Taiwan. You know, these days any massive military action will be proceeded by a huge cyber attack to cause confusion, chaos, lack of communication, that kind of thing.

[00:03:56] So you can expect that before a military attack. Now what do you do? What do you do for such things? Well, I've been doing some things here like keeping every rechargeable battery that I have fully charged at all times.

[00:04:16] I have all these different power tools with rechargeable batteries. I have little teeny double A's and I even have nine volt rechargeable batteries. So I keep them charged. Now supposedly the newer batteries will hold a charge, 90% of their charge for 10 years.

[00:04:46] I've never tested that out, but that's pretty good. But if they're not charged up before the electric goes off, they may not get charged. I mean you just have to pick and choose what your electric needs are going to be.

[00:05:09] And running your battery charger may not be on the list. And it's like the intrepid commander said, use pace, primary, alternate, contingent emergency for everything. I've said this before, I have five ways to heat my house and the intrepid commander recently upped his ability to heat his house.

[00:05:44] I don't know. I think he said he has eight ways or something. I don't know. But let's see, I'm pulling in now so I might have to continue this when I come out. What were my thoughts? Oh, prepping for the massive cyber attack.

[00:06:01] Yeah, what do you do for that? Well, I'll tell you more when I come out. So where was I? Yeah, well we're processing the turkeys and here again I have to point out that Maria is a way bigger prepper than I am.

[00:06:23] So I have a couple vital functions that are done like the head chopping and snipping the ends, the wings ends off because we don't, you know, that end of the wing there. We give that to the dogs, they like that and the feet and the heads.

[00:06:45] Although in Romania they cook chicken feet soup they make. And I have to draw the line somewhere. Okay? Now, maybe when it's SHTF I'll be eating chicken feet soup but not right now. Not right now. What else can you do before that massive cyber attack?

[00:07:13] Well, you got to look at your energy consumption and this is the first step. Decrease the amount of energy you need. Now this is coming from a guy that has five freezers and three refrigerators.

[00:07:41] But you know, when the power goes out you're going to limit, we're going to smoke or can all the meat that's in there. And we keep very little frozen vegetables, very, very, very little. I mean it's mostly all meat. So yeah.

[00:08:07] And right now we're probably, this has got to be close to the maximum amount of food that we've ever put up. Very, very close. Maria is arguing with me about it. I mean the turkeys are 200 pounds. Oh, the boss caught me. Yes, that was the boss.

[00:08:35] He told me to go somewhere else now so I might have to post this when I get home. Yeah, so limit the amount of energy that you need to use so that you can make do, you know, my biggest draw is the well pump.

[00:08:59] And probably, you know, the plan is to run the generator at night, okay? I know sound travels further at night but it's more disoriented. You won't be able to tell where it's coming from as well at night.

[00:09:20] And then, you know, pump the well, fill up all the jugs and then turn the generator off. And we can do that for a while even with the freezers because freezers don't run, you know, 24-7 they have a cycle.

[00:09:39] And if you run them and keep the doors closed, they'll keep frozen for quite a while. So that's the plan. I've also increased the amount of fuel storage I have, my capacity.

[00:09:55] And I did this when Biden took over because gas prices went up as soon as he canceled the XL pipeline. I mean it was, that was a no brainer. So which reminds me at the end of this month I got to get gas again because my points

[00:10:13] will expire. So basically it's, you know, planning, prepping, what we do every day. And keep your batteries topped off. So there you go. But yeah, war equals off-grid, absolutely, positively. If you think that the next world war is going to be like the last world war, you are

[00:10:43] sadly mistaken. If Germany could have knocked out our war production capabilities, they surely would have. And now there's not a country on the planet that's off limits. I mean without a reach, the oceans won't protect us anymore and they will definitely take out the power grid.

[00:11:10] Or the power grid will be limited and used for war production, prioritized. So your house may not be a priority and all the power is going to go, you know, to support the military. Not to mention fuel and everything else that's a military staple.

[00:11:39] If you look at the rationing that went on in World War II, it'll be like that only way worse, way worse. So that's pretty, the cheery end of it. That is what you can expect.

[00:11:56] The Jones Homestead, I want to, I want it to be like, you know, Casablanca where even the Germans come to drink. The good guys, the bad guys, yeah. And the spies. Yeah, I don't know. Who would come all the way up in the mountain for a drink?

[00:12:20] Who would be left? That's a good question. So PBN Family, I'm going to sign off, secure your protein. I think whatever is going to happen is going to happen between now and the election.

[00:12:37] It would not surprise me if China goes into Taiwan while Biden is in office because, well, you know why. So take care, prep on!
