[00:00:15] To oppose tyranny and fight for the world's off-created bestowder in the United States Constitution. We are the Prepper Broadcasting Network.
[00:00:48] If you tell, if you're getting dehydrated, check the color of your pee. Yes, your urine. If it's really, really yellow or almost even orange, you know, like when you take B-Complex Vitamins and you get that yellow, really dark yellow pee, that means you're getting dehydrated.
[00:01:16] It should be light yellow, almost clear because you're pounding the water so much. Also, one of the first signs of dehydration is a headache. Now, as it advances, it gets worse. So you get nausea, dizziness. You'll feel sick. Okay?
[00:01:41] So, don't end up in the hospital because they'll put IVs in both arms and maybe your legs to get your hydration up. Yeah, I should have covered this on Friday, how to tell. But that headache is the first thing. And some electrolytes that we use here at the Jonestead is the liquid IV is the Intrepid Commander. He says that's the best.
[00:02:10] So we do that regularly during the summer. And then, MedaLite tablets. MedaLite. They're tablets that look like aspirins, but they're all the minerals that you need. And if you take that with a glass of water, man, it instantly turns around what you got going on in your body.
[00:02:40] So, gosh, what is going on? I hope Trump... I mean, the last time Trump was in office, he killed the prepper community because everybody got complacent. They just, you know, stopped prepping and it fell off the face of the earth. They killed PrepperCon, which was huge out in Salt Lake City.
[00:03:08] The Intrepid Commander and I both attended, I think, the last PrepperCon there was. They had the, you know, the next year they had the venue all rented and everything and they just had to cancel it and send the ticket money back to people. It was crazy. But, I got to tell you that no matter who's in office, they can't stop hurricanes. They can't stop tornadoes.
[00:03:36] They can't stop bad weather, you know, like snowfall. So, all I can say is, yeah, we might be... He might get the Nobel Peace Prize and World War III... Well, World War III can take off at any time. Do you really think... Which do you think? Do you think Iran is buying time to regroup and...
[00:04:05] Do you think the fighting in the Middle East is stopping? Prepping? I mean, there's so many... I'm not trying to freak you out or put you full of fear. I'm trying to look at this realistically. Prepping is a choice. It's a lifestyle. It's the way you do things.
[00:04:27] You know, right now our plates, when we eat, is about 50% of the food that we produce. So, you know, and sometimes it's even more. That's right now, this time of year. In the fall, it'll be almost 100% because we'll be harvesting everything. We got green beans coming in right now. We'll have squash.
[00:04:56] I mean, do you want to live dependent on truck drivers that drive the food to the grocery stores? Do you want to depend on the farmers having a good crop? Do you want to depend on whatever the government can produce in case of emergencies? Or do you want to depend on your own backyard?
[00:05:26] That's basically the question. You know, if people ask me why I prep, it's because we lead a lifestyle. Yeah, it's difficult. It's not easy. I just hauled, yesterday I hauled nine cattle panels up the hill. We're going to replace fencing. Yeah, prepping is all about fencing. Well, the prepper infrastructure anyways.
[00:05:56] And boy, it was 94 degrees. And I'm telling you, hey, another thing that the fasting does. It trains your body. Okay? So, once you do a fast, the body remembers that. And it goes easier and easier into ketosis. And easier and easier into the benefits of fasting. Quicker, easier.
[00:06:27] So, that's why I said I was sweating so much. You know, for the majority of our existence, we never ate three meals a day. I mean, the vast majority of the population of the planet never ate three meals a day. This is only a very recent, I mean, recent within 100, 150 years.
[00:06:57] Civil War soldiers were issued one ration. One ration a day. And they were fighting a war. They were marching and fighting and living outside. And they were issued one ration a day. Now, they could forage and hunt. You know, and if they caught anything, that would supplement their ration. But in that ration, they would be issued first thing in the morning.
[00:07:26] And they usually ate it then so they wouldn't have to carry it with them. And it was hard tack and salted meat. I mean, that was it. You were on your own for water.
[00:07:42] So, if you look back, one meal a day is kind of what, you know, if you ate, hey, I ate yesterday, so I'm good. That's the way it was. Because it was a struggle to get food. It was difficult.
[00:08:05] Once we mechanized food production, speaking of mechanizing, they're doing robot combines and GPS tracking tractors. There's less and less people that they need in the fields anymore. It's crazy what's going on. So, our food production is going to turn into robot operations. And do you really want to depend on the robots?
[00:08:36] I mean, automation is great when they get it right. But when they get it wrong, boy, they mess up big time. Big time. Anyway, PBN family, that's my thoughts for the day. Going back to work. I mean, work here at the Jonestead. And it's Monday, Monday. Carpe diem. Seize the day. Yeah.
[00:09:05] Take care. Prep on.
