[00:00:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Welcome back to the Changing Earth Podcast with author Sarah F. Hathaway and co-host
[00:00:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Chen Gibson, blending survival fiction and fact to bring you entertaining education that
[00:00:20] [SPEAKER_02]: will help you dream, survive and thrive. And now here's your hosts Sarah F. Hathaway
[00:00:27] [SPEAKER_02]: and Chen Gibson. Chapter 55
[00:00:33] [SPEAKER_06]: Leaving the capital behind, Cole made his way towards the southern border. They had taken
[00:00:38] [SPEAKER_06]: a small white Honda to make the trip and changed out of their militia uniforms to blend in.
[00:00:44] [SPEAKER_06]: The further south they drove, the more fierce the faces on the street became and the
[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_06]: faster Johnny's foot tapped with nervous energy. Calm down, Johnny. We were invited,
[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_06]: Cole assured him. They aren't friendly to mercs down here, sir, Johnny told him.
[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Driving through town, Cole noticed a group of fighters in black uniforms. Their leader
[00:01:05] [SPEAKER_06]: was clearly marked with red stripes on his shoulders. The people on the street were
[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_06]: terrified of them, but they seemed to keep their distance from any militia soldiers.
[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Cole was curious. Chappie had relayed information to Cole from the rebel captain
[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_06]: he took to Cassidy's camp. The man mentioned a group of soldiers in black shirts. Bounty
[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_06]: hunters came from the east to collect people from the west. Making a mental note of the
[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_06]: uniforms, Cole drove the truck to the militia gate. The brakes squealed loudly as the
[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_06]: militia soldier approached. You're going to have to have that looked at, friend,
[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_06]: the soldier suggested. You're not wrong, Cole answered, handing him his identification.
[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_06]: I was told you were coming through today. Welcome to Texas, sir, the man replied,
[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_06]: handing him back his ID. Thank you for allowing us to enter, Cole replied. Follow this road up
[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_06]: two streets and take a right. You can't miss the governor's compound, the militia man
[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_06]: directed. He left the vehicle waving to another man to open the gate. Pressing on
[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_06]: the accelerator, Cole told Johnny, welcome back to freedom, Johnny. Don't they have
[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_06]: any refugees here? They do, but they care for each other and help those in need. They
[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_06]: seceded from the United States and rejected the climate refugee system. They believe
[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_06]: that all people are created equal in the eyes of God, Cole explained. Makes sense,
[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Johnny answered. My mom used to take me to church, but dad always said that he
[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_06]: had seen enough evil to know that God didn't exist. Maybe some people just need
[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_06]: to be punished for the wrongs in a past life, Cole suggested. I don't know,
[00:02:44] [SPEAKER_06]: Johnny admitted. I never gave it much thought. Cole pulled the vehicle to a stop
[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_06]: in front of the compound and showed his ID to the next guard. Governor Dixon
[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_06]: would like to talk with you, the soldier stated. Cole stepped from the
[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_06]: vehicle and said, and I would like to talk with him this way, sir, the
[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_06]: soldier directed leading him inside. They entered a large building that used
[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_06]: to be a college. Cole had expected him to have a private office behind
[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_06]: a big desk, but his desk was a modest setup in the corner of the
[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Eli sat at the desk with a scowl on his face. As Cole approached, Eli declared
[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_06]: angrily, and here he is, the man himself. I can't believe you let him
[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_06]: inside our border. Standing from his desk, the governor corrected sternly,
[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_06]: Eli, I understand you're upset and rightfully so, but I have never met
[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Major Cole Verges, so please be quiet for now. Yes, sir, Eli
[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_06]: asked, pouting. Major Verges, I wish we could have met under different
[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_06]: circumstances, Dixon told him, approaching to shake his hand. I couldn't
[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_06]: agree more, sir. It was a risky decision coming down here. You know,
[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_06]: the Colonel's bounty hunters patrol it well, Dixon warned. I had to take
[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_06]: the chance. Why now? Dixon's thick brown eyebrows furrowed with
[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_06]: curiosity. Eli butted in suggesting because he believes he found the
[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_06]: savior of the refugees. Eli, please, that is not going to get us anywhere,
[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Dixon corrected, agitated by his outbursts. He's right. I can't tell you
[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_06]: how sorry I am about the circumstances surrounding William's death, but
[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_06]: what's done is done, Cole admitted, and his savior did it. Eli,
[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_06]: one more outbursts and you'll have to leave the room, Dixon commanded.
[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Yes, sir, Eli answered, glaring at Cole. Unfortunately, he's right about that
[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_06]: too, but I'm telling you, she's the one we need. She has a legend and Cole
[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_06]: paused for a moment looking around. Is this room secure? Of course,
[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_06]: Dixon assured him. This is for your ears only. She's a landowner. What
[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_06]: was done to her family will be the scandal of the century. People
[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_06]: will have to rationalize what's going on with the refugees. With
[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_06]: the Ogallala collapse, the situation will only get worse. You're not wrong
[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_06]: about that. How are you going to keep her alive long enough to go public?
[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_06]: If the feds have the same information you do, her life is in danger.
[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_06]: The family's paperwork was lost when they first arrived. They were some
[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_06]: of the first families placed in Vegas. And they're still there?
[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Because Erica incited a riot and her husband Vince manages the gardens,
[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_06]: the director never placed them, Cole explained. And their past was never
[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_06]: researched? Dixon asked in amazement. Things are much different in the
[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_06]: Badlands, Governor. Their error will be the scandal of the century.
[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_06]: We'd have to get her away from the feds before we can go public or
[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_06]: they'll eliminate that threat immediately. Eli stood up interjecting.
[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm sorry, sir. Throw me out if you want to, but I can't listen to
[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_06]: this anymore. Can we please just discuss getting Cassidy out of that
[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_06]: hole in Vegas? I want nothing to do with the lone survivor, and I can
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_06]: assure you that many on the board will agree with me. Knowing the
[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_06]: truth of Eli's statement and respecting his position, Dixon commented.
[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_06]: It's an interesting situation, Major Verges, but our first priority
[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_06]: has to be to Cassidy's freedom. After that, we'll see what can be
[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_06]: done with this lone survivor. I have the full backing of the
[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_06]: mercenary board to get Erica out. I was planning on getting Cassidy at
[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_06]: the same time. Those bastards sent you for Erica? What about Cassidy,
[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_06]: Eli insisted? I'm going for both of them, Cole assured him. What do
[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_06]: you need from the Western militia to free Cassidy, Eli asked. I
[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_06]: need refugees on the inside, Cole admitted. I have the connections
[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_06]: you need, but if you get both women, you better keep Erica far
[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_06]: away from Cassidy. I'll figure it out, Cole said confidently. And if
[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_06]: you plan to work with her, you can count us out of your future
[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_06]: plans, Eli added. I'm sorry you feel that way, but I understand
[00:07:04] [SPEAKER_06]: why. William was a good man. After saying goodbye to Dixon and
[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Eli, it was time to design a plan. He knew who and what he
[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_06]: just needed to figure out when and how the predicament plagued
[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_06]: him as he left the Texas stronghold behind and headed for
[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_06]: Reno. The South was still reeling from the Ogallala collapse. He
[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_06]: had to skirt the southern end of the new lake and then point
[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_06]: the vehicle north. People were everywhere, and he noticed a
[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_06]: black shirted crew amongst them every now and then. The
[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_06]: second sighting made him more curious, but a third and a
[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_01]: fourth were cause for alarm. On the brink of blackouts again
[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_01]: as power demand reached an all time record high overnight,
[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_01]: slivers of the Golden State plunged into darkness.
[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_04]: He scheduled outage on Thursday, but the one that
[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_04]: happened Sunday, it wasn't scheduled. It was unexpected
[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_04]: and it lasted longer than a day. Point zero energy has given

[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_06]: up?
[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_08]: Hey, Tim's up.
[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_06]: All right, man. I am just so stoked for proper camp. I'm so
[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_06]: pumped.
[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, I saw our buddy Rick yesterday. Oh, yeah. It's
[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_08]: like scoops are almost sold out. Yeah. listening they
[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_08]: better like yesterday. They need to buy tickets. They
[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_08]: better hurry up and get their tickets or else. For 2025
[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_08]: because 2024 is about to be done.
[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. Jane said max three days left. Yeah. So my buddy that
[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_06]: lives in Tennessee, I was like, dude, did you get your
[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_06]: tickets? She's like, No, that'd be so awesome to go
[00:10:16] [SPEAKER_06]: with you better get on it today. Like right now. Yeah.
[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, so we got the camper uncovered.
[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. Yeah. You were like, yeah, here we go. I'm like,
[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_06]: just did ours. Yeah, they're all ready. And yeah, all the
[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_06]: books are coming in and everything. So I'm really
[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_06]: excited. My good friend and yours, Mr. L. Douglas Hogan,
[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_06]: otherwise known as TJ Swenson. reskinning all my books for
[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_06]: me. So about halfway through right now, I won't have the
[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_06]: new ones for prepper camp. It'll be the last time you
[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_06]: get you can get your hands on the first edition books.
[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_06]: Because they will be gone after this. After this time around.
[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, they look beautiful. Go over to my website, check it
[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_06]: out. Change it or a series. I also got a bunch of new
[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_06]: merchandise up there. I made like some girl shirts, you
[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_06]: know, so girly. It makes girls shirts. I did. Yeah, the
[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_06]: one on the far right.
[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, I made the TJ shirt. The black shirts love the pain.
[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_06]: So go check it out. We did some cool work. I'll be doing
[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_06]: more with that stuff. And we're going to be expanding
[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_06]: the membership program making that all better. There's just a
[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_06]: lot of things in the works right now. So it's fun. You
[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_06]: guys are always along for the journey. And I just thank you
[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_06]: for coming along on the journey. We're about to blast
[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_06]: off again. So
[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_08]: I wore by JJ Earth all captured that my cert meeting so
[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_06]: they're showing the love.
[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm about to get the camo hats back again as well.
[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_06]: Yep, I'll have the camo hats again. Those ones are nice
[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_06]: and brighter. You know, they're beautiful hats. So
[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_06]: yeah, yeah, check it out. A lot of new stuff going on.
[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_06]: What else we got? Oh, audio drama, of course the audio
[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_06]: drama episode five aired.
[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Episode five aired on Thursday. So if you haven't listened to
[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_06]: parts one through four yet get on it. Five just launched.
[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_06]: We'll do five, six, seven, eight that'll take us right up
[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_06]: to Prepper Camp. If you remember, episode six is already
[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_06]: out for you to check out. So
[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_06]: go and go and have a look see they're turning out so
[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_06]: good. Love it. Working on the next half. But you know, I can
[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_06]: only do what my performers will give me lines for so we
[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_06]: should be good to go with him this week and really launching
[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_06]: off on that.
[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Ellen coming in September 11th. So we'll have her at the
[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_06]: halfway changing her studio for a couple weeks before
[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_06]: Prepper Camp.
[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_08]: Live in person.
[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_06]: That's right. That'll be fun. So yeah, lots of stuff going on
[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_06]: at the same time.
[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_06]: So we're finishing off Burgess. I don't know if we're
[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_06]: gonna finish it before Prepper Camp. I think we looked at
[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_06]: it before. I think we're gonna be darn close, especially
[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_06]: being that sorry about last week guys, you know, stuff
[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_06]: just comes up and I really like the flooding compilation
[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_06]: that I put together for you though. Right? It was good.
[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_06]: And he's always a wealth of knowledge. And then we had
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_06]: Gager on there and then the show that we did. What a great
[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_06]: lineup for you know, preparing for the flood what to do
[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_06]: during the flood and then after the flood. And that's a
[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_06]: big problem right now we're gonna talk about on our
[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_06]: changing our views. So
[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_06]: so great lineup if you guys didn't catch the show last
[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_06]: week, you should really go check it out.
[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, so in Burgess this week,
[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_06]: M'nro- or Burgess arrests M'nro.
[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_06]: That's the big news like it's bassy.
[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Put him on.
[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Are you serious sir?
[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_06]: That's how we always read his voice when we're reading
[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_06]: scripts. But sir, are you serious?
[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Entrapment commander getting arrested.
[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_06]: So you know we're coming into the end. This is like when
[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_06]: you don't want to put down the book. But yeah, we're
[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_06]: gonna go through it. So it really got me thinking about
[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_06]: handling disloyalty. Like how do you handle disloyalty?
[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, we've all had friends in the past that,
[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_06]: you know, weren't so loyal, betrayed us in some way hurt
[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_06]: us somehow right. And that can be a big problem. But
[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_06]: also with relationships, obviously, that's a huge
[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_06]: problem. Like especially, you know, romantic
[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_06]: relationships, right? But also when you think about
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_06]: your group, your survival group, right? You don't want
[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_06]: people to start being disloyal to your group. That
[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_06]: can be big time problems in the future. So it's
[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_06]: going to be really important to be able to notice
[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_06]: signs of when it's happening with people and what
[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_06]: that kind of looks like. So I try to stretch out
[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_06]: all over and find some great info. And I gotta tell
[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_06]: you, I love episodes where I learn as much doing my
[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_06]: research, you know, to benefit my life is what I get
[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_06]: this chair with everybody. So excited about it.
[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_06]: Betrayal. It's the worst one for me. Like, I just
[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_06]: want people to be honest, I don't have any
[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_06]: reason to lie myself. I'm a really honest
[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_06]: person. So it's really frustrating when you get
[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_06]: somebody who just lies all the time to just say
[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_06]: what's ever going on in the room, you know. So one
[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_06]: of the big things that I learned was that you
[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_06]: cannot be betrayed by somebody unless you
[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_06]: actually care about them.
[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I read that article that you sent over.
[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_06]: Right. Yeah, that was that was an interesting
[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_06]: one.
[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_08]: It says it all right. It's like you can't be
[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_08]: betrayed unless you had some kind of
[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_08]: relationship.
[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_06]: Right. Because your enemy can't betray you, you
[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_06]: already know they're your enemy. You never had
[00:16:48] [SPEAKER_05]: trust in them. Right. So
[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_05]: you betrayed me. Well, you knew he was gonna
[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_05]: betray you. Bad guy, right? You know,
[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_05]: so you give me that ice cream code for it.
[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_05]: You're gonna crack the whip.
[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_06]: And maybe that's why we get so pissed off of
[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_06]: politicians. Because like we trusted them and
[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_06]: they get up there and do something totally
[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_06]: different. And we're like, what? You know,
[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_06]: what the F? So, you know, obviously partners,
[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_06]: close friends, that kind of thing. Even Jesus
[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_06]: was betrayed by Judas, one of the closest
[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_06]: 12. So it's obviously a problem that
[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_06]: resonates happens a lot. It can actually cause
[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_06]: PTSD, depression, anxiety, and massively decrease
[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_06]: self esteem. You're like, oh, what kind of
[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_06]: wass is having PTSD from this? What when you
[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_06]: get really hurt by somebody, you want to just
[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_06]: jump into the next relationship?
[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_08]: No, you're gunshot.
[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_06]: Right. Yeah, like man, I don't want to get
[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_06]: hurt like that again, which means I don't
[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_06]: want to care again. And that's a problem.
[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_08]: You should hold the walls up.
[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yes, the walls go high. So relationships
[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_06]: are really important. We're social creatures.
[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_06]: They help stress reduction and probably your
[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_06]: relationship with that person might have
[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_06]: really increased your self esteem. So when
[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_06]: they betray you, that's a direct hit like
[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_06]: a major loss to you. Like almost like
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_06]: somebody died, you know? And that however
[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_06]: intense that relationship is, it's going to
[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_06]: affect the severity of that trauma. So if
[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_06]: it's just like somebody at work that was
[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_06]: like, maybe you knew him a little bit, not
[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_06]: a big deal. But if it was like your
[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_06]: brother, a close family member, something
[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_06]: like that, it's going to hurt a lot worse
[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_06]: to have that betrayal. So most of us
[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_06]: have been hurt in the past. Signs you
[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_06]: have not healed. You have difficulty
[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_06]: managing emotions. You can have physical
[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_06]: pain, lack of trust in others.
[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_06]: Substance abuse can be a sign that you
[00:19:04] [SPEAKER_06]: haven't healed from past trauma.
[00:19:06] [SPEAKER_06]: Attachment problems and then detaching
[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_06]: from reality. So there's stages of
[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_06]: disloyalty, and this is one article
[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_06]: that I really, really liked. I'm going
[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_06]: to share that one. I had it on the
[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_06]: ready, but now I don't. So if you're
[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_06]: over in the chat.
[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_08]: The last one?
[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, the last one.
[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_08]: I'll see if I can pull it in for you.
[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_06]: Okay, so if you're over in the chat,
[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_06]: I'll put the link up over there. It was
[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_06]: great article because it took it from a
[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_06]: perspective of a group and it blended
[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_06]: in the Christianity side of things.
[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_06]: So stages of disloyalty. I didn't
[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_06]: really like their first stage of
[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_06]: disloyalty because it was like
[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_06]: independent thinker, free spirit. Well,
[00:19:55] [SPEAKER_06]: guess what? I'm all of those things.
[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_06]: But if I'm loyal, there's nothing
[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_06]: that's going to break that loyalty
[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_06]: besides you. Right? I mean, it's just
[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_06]: how it is with me. So I think you
[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_06]: can be a free thinker. I think you
[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_06]: can have a difference of opinions with
[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_06]: somebody without being disloyal to
[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_06]: them. I don't think that is a sign
[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_06]: of disloyalty.
[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_06]: But offense. So people take offense to
[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_06]: something that you said, right? That
[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_06]: you did. They don't confront you about
[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_06]: it. They just let it fester. Then they
[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_06]: get to this offended mindset where
[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_06]: they're bitter, they're hateful about
[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_06]: things, right? And that's really the
[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_06]: first stage of a major decline. So if
[00:20:43] [SPEAKER_06]: you're working with a group, like a
[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_06]: mad group or like the group you're
[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_06]: working with Chen and notice somebody
[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_06]: that's getting a little like, you
[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_06]: know, you're going to get off. Try to
[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_06]: talk to them about it. Communication
[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_06]: goes a long way, long way. So you got
[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_06]: to stop that first, that first part
[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_06]: and get down to the nitty gritty.
[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_06]: Because after they have offense, they
[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_06]: have passivity. So they tend to lose
[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_06]: interest in what is going on in the
[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_06]: group. Start sitting in the back,
[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_06]: position themselves away from, you
[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_06]: know, what's going on in the major
[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_06]: area, or you in general. You know, I've
[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_06]: had a relationship with past coworkers
[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_06]: that I could see once I learned these
[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_06]: steps was like, Oh, yeah, I could
[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_06]: totally see that.
[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_08]: But you know what you're looking
[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_08]: for?
[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. Exactly. Like once you have those
[00:21:39] [SPEAKER_06]: tools to be able to see it, you're
[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_06]: like, Oh, yeah, I can totally see
[00:21:42] [SPEAKER_06]: that. Then they go into the critical
[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_06]: stage. This is when they're like
[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_06]: trying to magnify every single one of
[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_06]: your flaws, so that they can dwell on
[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_06]: those negative bad things and then
[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_06]: tell other people about it. To get
[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_06]: more people on their side so they
[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_06]: can feel better about themselves for
[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_06]: the choice they're making to be
[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_06]: disloyal to you.
[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_06]: That's when it's basically, you
[00:22:06] [SPEAKER_06]: know, you're growing apart, right?
[00:22:08] [SPEAKER_06]: You just grow apart at that point.
[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_06]: One of my favorite sayings is in all
[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_06]: relationships, you're either growing
[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_06]: together or you're growing apart.
[00:22:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Every single relationship's that way.
[00:22:20] [SPEAKER_06]: Okay, so how do you heal? Because it
[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_06]: sucks. Like it does. I've had people
[00:22:26] [SPEAKER_06]: steal from me before, you know, just
[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_06]: during the wrong place at the wrong
[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_06]: time, you hear somebody talking, and
[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_06]: they're just agreeing with whatever's
[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_06]: going on in the conversation. And you
[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_06]: thought they were your friend. And
[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_06]: that hurts. It hurts. So talk with
[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_06]: someone you trust. You don't want to
[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_06]: talk with somebody though, who's
[00:22:49] [SPEAKER_06]: going to be like, Gabby, like drama
[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_06]: person, right? Who's gonna like,
[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, the gossip queen.
[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. Whichever. As soon as they
[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_06]: hear it, they're gonna go 12, 12
[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_06]: other people, right? So that's not
[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_06]: gonna do any good. So make it
[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_06]: sure somebody you trust and they
[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_06]: know, you know, you're putting
[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_06]: your confidence in them, you're
[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_06]: putting your trust in them to do
[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_06]: the right thing. Practice self care.
[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_06]: Betrayal can be really emotionally
[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_06]: damaging. So it's important to eat
[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_06]: well, not just drowned in drugs or
[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_06]: alcohol. Exercise so you force
[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_06]: yourself to feel more positive and
[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_06]: engage in hobbies. You know, do
[00:23:38] [SPEAKER_06]: something that you always wanted to
[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_06]: do and give yourself congratulations
[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_06]: for those little goals along the way,
[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_06]: you know, you're gonna be okay.
[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_06]: Acknowledge and accept. So the way
[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_06]: someone behaves towards you is a
[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_06]: reflection of their character, not
[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_06]: yours. Too many leaders try to keep
[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_06]: the Judas from hanging themselves
[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_06]: instead of worrying about loyal
[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_06]: followers. Like how true is that
[00:24:08] [SPEAKER_06]: in our society today? We're
[00:24:11] [SPEAKER_06]: worried about small percentages of
[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_06]: populations when we're totally
[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_06]: ignoring the 98%. Right?
[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_08]: It's almost like an ad campaign.
[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I was pretty blown away by
[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_06]: that one. I was like, it's so true.
[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_06]: We worry about like that one.
[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_06]: That's not really working out
[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_06]: instead of focusing on the, you
[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_06]: know, 11 followers we do have that
[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_06]: are doing awesome and, and we have
[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_06]: great relationships with. We like
[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_08]: negative, right? So that you see
[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_06]: gossip. Yeah. Yeah, we can spread
[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_06]: around and keep going. If you know
[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_06]: you're a good person, you were
[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_06]: acting. You weren't the one who
[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_06]: was disloyal. You did not stab
[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_06]: them in the back. You did not do
[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_06]: these things. They clearly did.
[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_06]: Don't blame yourself. Right? I
[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_06]: mean, if you were always a true
[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_06]: friend to that person and they
[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_06]: decided that relationship wasn't
[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_06]: worth it to them and they do
[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_06]: something to wrong you, you know,
[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_06]: it's not your fault. Don't like
[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_06]: keep constantly analyzing yourself.
[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Like what could I have done
[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_06]: different to make them like me?
[00:25:26] [SPEAKER_08]: It's a tough one too. It is.
[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_08]: Especially friendships. Yeah.
[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. And it's not a
[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_06]: reflection on you. It's a
[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_06]: reflection on them. You know,
[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_06]: there might've been nothing you
[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_06]: can do. So we can't beat
[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_06]: ourselves up because of that. We
[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_06]: got to remember that, you know,
[00:25:43] [SPEAKER_06]: there's lots of fish in the sea.
[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_06]: There's always going to be ones
[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_06]: that like you and there's always
[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_06]: going to be ones that don't.
[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_06]: So unless you were acting
[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_06]: like a total jerk off, you know,
[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_06]: which happens sometimes.
[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_06]: And then that's when
[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_06]: communication is important.
[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_06]: If the relationship's worth it
[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_06]: to you. Remember building and
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_06]: sustaining relationships is a
[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_06]: learning process. Eventually
[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_06]: you're going to learn what
[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_06]: works and what doesn't.
[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_06]: And you know, I'm, you know,
[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_06]: three quarters of the way
[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_06]: through my life and I can't
[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_06]: even tell you that I have
[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_06]: that nailed down. You know,
[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_06]: I think you got to learn
[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_06]: every day and yeah,
[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_06]: you know, learning about
[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_06]: relationships is just like
[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_06]: working a muscle.
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_06]: You have to exercise that
[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_06]: muscle or else you're
[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_08]: going to fall over.
[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_08]: Relationships has little
[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_08]: nuances that are different
[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_08]: anyway. So right.
[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_08]: You have the same thought
[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_08]: process for every, you know,
[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_08]: identical for every every
[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_08]: person you know.
[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely. Now that's truth
[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_06]: as well. So there you've
[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_06]: got to understand, like, give
[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_06]: yourself permission to be
[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_06]: like, oh, that one didn't
[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_06]: work out. It's not a big
[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_06]: deal. Even though you know,
[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_06]: you might've really enjoyed
[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_06]: that friendship.
[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_06]: This is why we have to use
[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_06]: the discernment of the Holy
[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_06]: Spirit. So bull sharks are
[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_06]: one half the size of a
[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_06]: great white, but it's
[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_06]: responsible for most attacks.
[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Things aren't always as they
[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_06]: seem right. So I mean, you
[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_06]: might've thought, yeah, I
[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_06]: really want to be friends
[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_06]: with that person and they
[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_06]: were just looking to do you
[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_06]: wrong from the beginning.
[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_06]: So that's not your fault.
[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_06]: You can't beat yourself up
[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_06]: over that. You can't wonder
[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_06]: what you could have done
[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_06]: different because that was
[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_06]: never their intention.
[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_06]: And it sucks that people
[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_06]: are that way, but you
[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_06]: know, that's just the way
[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_06]: it is. You got to be
[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_06]: patient with yourself. Right?
[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_06]: I don't I'm so hyper
[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_06]: critical of myself. Everybody
[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_06]: I trained with was like, man,
[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_06]: you're the you're the
[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_06]: hardest instructor. You push
[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_06]: us so hard. You know, I'm
[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_06]: like, how do you think I
[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_06]: push myself in my own head?
[00:27:54] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, much harder than I'm
[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_06]: pushing you right now.
[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, so I understand
[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_06]: that I've got to be patient
[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_06]: with myself and everybody
[00:28:03] [SPEAKER_06]: needs to give themselves a
[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_06]: little leeway. Pass failure
[00:28:08] [SPEAKER_06]: serve as those guidelines.
[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_06]: Right? Pain can't be
[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_06]: avoided, but understanding
[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_06]: it can help maintain
[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_06]: your spiritual readiness.
[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_06]: So learning these things,
[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_06]: these forgiveness things
[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_06]: way to spot it and calmly
[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_06]: go through these emotions
[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_06]: can really help you be a
[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_06]: leader of a successful
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_06]: group in the future.
[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_06]: Matthew 10 16 says,
[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm sending you out
[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_06]: like sheep amongst wolves.
[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_06]: Therefore be as shrewd
[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_06]: as snakes and innocent
[00:28:42] [SPEAKER_06]: as doves.
[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_06]: So like. You got a good
[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_06]: mindset, you got everything
[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_06]: going on.
[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_06]: Stand you're out there
[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_06]: among a pack of wolves,
[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_06]: so it's not always
[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_06]: going to work out,
[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_06]: you know, and maybe that
[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_06]: was for the better.
[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_06]: God had a reason for
[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_06]: keeping you from that
[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_08]: relationship. If you
[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_08]: have an hour.
[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_08]: How many years ago?
[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_08]: It's the whole street
[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_06]: today. Yeah.
[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Right.
[00:29:10] [SPEAKER_06]: That's true. And we're
[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_06]: so critical of ourselves.
[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, everybody needs to
[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_06]: like me.
[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_06]: No way.
[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Everybody is not going
[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_06]: to like you.
[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_06]: At all.
[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_06]: Be you and
[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_06]: grow with your people.
[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_06]: Give yourself self space
[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_06]: from the person who
[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_06]: betrayed you.
[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_06]: So that can be tough
[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_06]: if it's like a family
[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_06]: member.
[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_06]: I can be tough if
[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_06]: you're like in a survival
[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_06]: group, you know?
[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_06]: But healing is hard
[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_06]: and it can be more
[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_06]: difficult if that person
[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_06]: who betrayed you is
[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_06]: always around.
[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_08]: So I will just just
[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_08]: just put them in jail.
[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah,
[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_08]: I got it.
[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_06]: Um, but lots of people
[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_06]: are like they follow
[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_06]: him on social media
[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_06]: after that, you know,
[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_06]: like, oh, look what
[00:29:57] [SPEAKER_06]: he's doing now.
[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_06]: Let me be be be be be
[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_06]: or look what she's
[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_06]: doing out, you know,
[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_06]: don't worry about that.
[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_06]: We're about healing
[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_06]: yourself and move
[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_06]: into a better place.
[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_08]: You know,
[00:30:09] [SPEAKER_08]: but you only have
[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_08]: so much energy, right?
[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:30:13] [SPEAKER_08]: To use up energy
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_08]: chasing a negative
[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_08]: trail doesn't really
[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_08]: help your life.
[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_06]: Exactly.
[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_06]: Exactly.
[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_06]: OK, so that leads us
[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_06]: right into practice
[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_06]: forgiveness.
[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_06]: It's easy to become
[00:30:29] [SPEAKER_06]: suspicious and
[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_06]: hard hearted,
[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_06]: but God wants us
[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_06]: to see the best in
[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_06]: everyone and walk
[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_06]: with the wisdom
[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_06]: of the Holy Spirit.
[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_06]: So Ephesians 6 12
[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_06]: for our struggle is not
[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_06]: against flesh and blood,
[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_06]: but against the rulers,
[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_06]: against the authorities,
[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_06]: against the powers
[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_06]: of this dark world
[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_06]: and against the spiritual
[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_06]: forces of evil
[00:30:52] [SPEAKER_06]: in the heavenly realms.
[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_06]: That one's just like.
[00:31:01] [SPEAKER_06]: On the point, right?
[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_06]: The dark forces
[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_06]: are going to use those
[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_06]: people to try and keep us down,
[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_06]: to try and keep us stifled,
[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_06]: to try and keep us
[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_06]: in our place.
[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, we have to just
[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_06]: keep shining the light.
[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_06]: And like you said,
[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_06]: with that negative energy,
[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_06]: that just stifles your light.
[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_06]: You're not going to be
[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_06]: the person you could be.
[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_06]: So, um,
[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_08]: maybe it's so easy for
[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_08]: to to to
[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_08]: fall into the negative.
[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_08]: It's so easy to gossip
[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_08]: itself as opposed to
[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_08]: look for positive things to
[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_06]: pursue, right?
[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Have clear communication
[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_06]: with the with that
[00:31:41] [SPEAKER_06]: individual you're having
[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_06]: an issue with and don't
[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_06]: bring it out everywhere else.
[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:31:49] [SPEAKER_06]: Is it?
[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_06]: That doesn't work.
[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_06]: It turns into a mess.
[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_06]: You're like Jerry
[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_06]: Springer and stuff,
[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_06]: you know, looking like an idiot.
[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_08]: The chairs start flying.
[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, because now
[00:32:02] [SPEAKER_06]: you're just emotionally unhinged
[00:32:05] [SPEAKER_06]: because you're not practicing
[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_06]: any type of self control.
[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_06]: Not thinking about forgiveness.
[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_06]: You're thinking about
[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_06]: retaliation.
[00:32:13] [SPEAKER_06]: We're going to get up to that one.
[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Don't live in fear of being
[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_06]: emotionally hurt again, though.
[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_06]: Like you say, they build the walls
[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_06]: and that those walls will sabotage
[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_06]: your future relationships.
[00:32:24] [SPEAKER_06]: And then you become lonely
[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_06]: and it morphs into victimhood.
[00:32:28] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, everything.
[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, everyone did this to me.
[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_06]: This happened to me.
[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_06]: Everyone did this to me.
[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_06]: You know?
[00:32:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Maybe.
[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_06]: But it's up to you
[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_06]: to get back up
[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_06]: and put your bootstraps on
[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_06]: and get back out in the world.
[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_06]: There's always going to be people
[00:32:44] [SPEAKER_06]: that like you and there's
[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_06]: always going to be people that don't.
[00:32:46] [SPEAKER_06]: It's just how it is.
[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, Bible, in my opinion,
[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_06]: is the best book in the world.
[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_06]: Not everybody likes it.
[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_06]: Not everybody reads it.
[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_06]: So your artwork, your
[00:33:00] [SPEAKER_06]: self, your person, your voice
[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_06]: is not going to be
[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_06]: what everybody likes.
[00:33:07] [SPEAKER_06]: There's always going to be people
[00:33:07] [SPEAKER_06]: that like him, people that don't.
[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_06]: It's just the way it is.
[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_06]: OK, so avoiding reality retaliation.
[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_06]: So you may want to seek justice.
[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_06]: It sounds like a great idea.
[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I'm going to really
[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_06]: stake it to them, you know?
[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_06]: But that negative
[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_06]: is hate in your heart
[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_06]: will destroy you too.
[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_06]: And it just gets in the way
[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_06]: of healthy relationships
[00:33:32] [SPEAKER_06]: in the future.
[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, you start
[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_06]: dwelling on that and it's not good.
[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_06]: So keep in mind that God
[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_06]: can take anything broken
[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_06]: and use it for something good.
[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_06]: And he even used Judas
[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_06]: to accomplish his mission.
[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_06]: So you just don't have the answers,
[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_06]: only God does.
[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_06]: And you have to just trust in that
[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_06]: and learn to forgive
[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_06]: and forget a little bit more.
[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_06]: So so what do you do
[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_06]: if you suspect this?
[00:34:06] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, we kind of talked
[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_06]: about this all along, but
[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_06]: confront the person
[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_06]: you're going to find out real quick.
[00:34:15] Um.
[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_06]: How they feel, what's going on?
[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_06]: But you got to just talk right with them.
[00:34:20] [SPEAKER_06]: Try not to be like
[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm so tough for me, right?
[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_06]: Because I have so much
[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_06]: like anxiety about the conversation
[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_06]: and then a kind of aggressive person anyway.
[00:34:30] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_06]: So you've got to just try
[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_06]: and not jump to conclusions
[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_06]: and not be angry
[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_06]: and just be like, hey,
[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_06]: this is kind of the facts
[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_06]: of what's going on.
[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_08]: And.
[00:34:42] [SPEAKER_08]: I got to talk about this before
[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_08]: where you stick to the facts
[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_08]: and don't get emotional,
[00:34:46] [SPEAKER_08]: the lead emotion
[00:34:47] [SPEAKER_08]: through the conversation.
[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Right?
[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_06]: Right.
[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_06]: This is how I felt.
[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, it doesn't really matter
[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_06]: how you felt.
[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_06]: We need to know
[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_06]: what the circumstance was
[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_06]: and then what was the reaction to it
[00:35:00] [SPEAKER_06]: and was that appropriate
[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_06]: for you to respond that way or not?
[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, that's what we're looking for.
[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_06]: Um.
[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_06]: A lot of times you learn, I mean,
[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_06]: and you might not want to hear
[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_06]: what you're hearing at the time
[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_06]: when somebody is being honest with you.
[00:35:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Right.
[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_06]: There's a lot of things
[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_06]: that are hard for me to hear.
[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_06]: But when you take a moment
[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_06]: and then you think about it,
[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_06]: you rationalize things,
[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_06]: you know, hey, maybe that's true.
[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_06]: Maybe something, you know,
[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_06]: and even if it's not all true,
[00:35:28] [SPEAKER_06]: maybe I can incorporate some of that,
[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_06]: you know, into our future
[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_06]: dealings with each other kind of thing.
[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_06]: At least you know where they're coming from
[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_06]: and then don't listen
[00:35:40] [SPEAKER_06]: or spread rumors.
[00:35:42] Don't.
[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_06]: Talk to somebody about what you heard
[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_06]: because.
[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh boy, telephone tag time, right?
[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_06]: So that's just not where it's at.
[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_08]: It's not productive.
[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_06]: It's not.
[00:35:58] [SPEAKER_06]: I really like that one today.
[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_06]: I think it's really important
[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_06]: because most of my listeners,
[00:36:06] [SPEAKER_06]: PBN community,
[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_06]: Change in Earth community.
[00:36:10] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, you guys will be
[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_06]: leaders of tomorrow.
[00:36:13] [SPEAKER_06]: Whatever anything goes down,
[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_06]: you guys are the ones
[00:36:15] [SPEAKER_06]: who have been educating yourselves.
[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_06]: You guys are the ones
[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_06]: who know how to help people.
[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_06]: You guys are the ones
[00:36:20] [SPEAKER_06]: who know how to organize people.
[00:36:22] [SPEAKER_06]: You guys are going to be
[00:36:23] [SPEAKER_06]: the leaders of tomorrow
[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_06]: and people skills are going to be
[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_06]: vastly important.
[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_06]: You cannot defend your community
[00:36:30] [SPEAKER_06]: if you can't even get along
[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_06]: with your community.
[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_08]: But don't even wait for tomorrow.
[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, start today.
[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_08]: Find ways to be a positive
[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_08]: force in your community today.
[00:36:42] Yeah.
[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, I've seen that recently.
[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_08]: This year has really shown
[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_08]: that to me, right?
[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_08]: And find out what your
[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_08]: what your skills
[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_08]: that what your gifts are
[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_08]: and put them to work.
[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_06]: It's important.
[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_06]: Too many of us
[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_06]: are just falling away from that,
[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_06]: so we have to have to be there.
[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_06]: We have to be engaged.
[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_06]: Love that too.
[00:37:10] [SPEAKER_06]: You're teaching a class
[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_06]: at Prepper Camp, aren't you?
[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_08]: I know that.
[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_06]: Talk about stepping up in the world.
[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, good.
[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_08]: So I'm going to have to go
[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_08]: to the speakers meeting this year.
[00:37:22] [SPEAKER_06]: You have to come to the speakers.
[00:37:26] [SPEAKER_08]: Yell that for not attending.
[00:37:29] [SPEAKER_05]: You certainly would
[00:37:32] [SPEAKER_06]: love it.
[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_06]: Good.
[00:37:35] [SPEAKER_06]: That's going to be cool.
[00:37:37] [SPEAKER_06]: And it's a good combo.
[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_06]: You're basically teaching
[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_06]: a lot of what Rick came out
[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_06]: and talked to us about a few weeks ago
[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_06]: with the search groups
[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_06]: and stuff like that, right?
[00:37:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:37:48] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, yeah, it comes.
[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_08]: I've been helping
[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_08]: a lot in like my neighborhood
[00:37:53] [SPEAKER_08]: and my community with communication.
[00:37:55] [SPEAKER_08]: So I'll do it.
[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, class.
[00:37:58] [SPEAKER_08]: And it's fantastic.
[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_08]: That's what it's called.
[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_08]: Mesh test.
[00:38:02] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to get over there
[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_06]: and check that out.
[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_06]: I've got classes I want to see
[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_06]: because Doug's teaching a class this year.
[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_06]: And so there's a few others, too,
[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_06]: on the list that I didn't get to last year
[00:38:16] [SPEAKER_06]: that last year I didn't do any classes.
[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_06]: I was teaching my my
[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_06]: kidnapping class for the first time.
[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that one.
[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_06]: The devil definitely taps
[00:38:27] [SPEAKER_06]: on your back during that one.
[00:38:29] [SPEAKER_06]: And he's like, hey, are you sure
[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_06]: you want to be doing this?
[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_06]: Because this emotional stuff,
[00:38:35] [SPEAKER_08]: you know, making a stumble.
[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah.
[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_06]: So, yeah, so it was a little bit
[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_06]: more challenging for me on that avenue.
[00:38:43] [SPEAKER_06]: But this year I got it down
[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_06]: a little bit more.
[00:38:45] [SPEAKER_06]: I've taught the class outside
[00:38:46] [SPEAKER_06]: of Prepper Camp a couple times here.
[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_06]: So feeling good and the good
[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_06]: that it does is way over Trump's
[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_06]: the emotional
[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_06]: the emotions you have to go
[00:38:59] [SPEAKER_06]: through teaching that class, you know,
[00:39:01] [SPEAKER_06]: and then talking to people after and stuff.
[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_06]: So
[00:39:05] [SPEAKER_06]: really good info.
[00:39:06] [SPEAKER_06]: So, yeah, so I'm going to be out.
[00:39:08] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to be out
[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_06]: classing it up this year, I think.
[00:39:13] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm getting messy.
[00:39:16] [SPEAKER_06]: All righty, guys, we'll check out
[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_06]: head on over to the website.
[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_06]: Check that out.
[00:39:22] [SPEAKER_06]: You'll love the new stands over there.
[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_06]: And then we'll keep you keep you posted.
[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_06]: All right. Change your news.
[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm ready to go.
[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_06]: We got a lot of good stuff today.
[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_06]: So let's roll with it.
[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_06]: We're a little bit early.
[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_08]: But there's good stuff that's like, oh, great.
[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, we got beautiful rainbows and a unicorn
[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_06]: flew by farting glitter through the air.
[00:39:47] [SPEAKER_06]: It was wonderful.
[00:39:52] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_06]: Here's our music.
[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Dream survive thrive.
[00:40:06] [SPEAKER_03]: This is changing Earth news.
[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_06]: All right, change your news.
[00:40:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Um, sun's been having some big sunspots,
[00:40:21] [SPEAKER_06]: but relatively unproductive.
[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_06]: There's some biggies that are turning in our way right now.
[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Um, Friday, we had some geostorms
[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_06]: just from planetary activity.
[00:40:33] [SPEAKER_06]: The really interesting thing that's coming up
[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_06]: is the gas giants.
[00:40:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Are going to form a square.
[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_06]: With yeah, gas giant
[00:40:48] [SPEAKER_06]: TV show hasn't happened since 79 AD
[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_06]: when Mount Vesuvius erupted.
[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_06]: So it's going to be interesting to see that October 22nd.
[00:41:03] [SPEAKER_06]: They're forming into the square.
[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's where it's where it's a square square.
[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_08]: Celebrity's exes get the right.
[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_06]: No, not Hollywood squares, right?
[00:41:21] [SPEAKER_06]: Hollywood Hollywood squares.
[00:41:23] [SPEAKER_08]: OK, I'm throwing a family few.
[00:41:26] [SPEAKER_06]: No, no, no, no.
[00:41:27] [SPEAKER_06]: We're next game is going to be
[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_06]: Virgis's group against TJ's group, I think.
[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to make Brock host it because he's a really good host.
[00:41:37] [SPEAKER_06]: So, OK, squirrel.
[00:41:41] [SPEAKER_06]: August 25th, 2024, I'm going back to the 25th.
[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_06]: And honestly, I'm only going up to yesterday
[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_06]: because I was supposed to go out fishing today.
[00:41:50] [SPEAKER_06]: So I got all my research done yesterday.
[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_06]: I didn't see any big headlines this morning, so I could be totally wrong.
[00:42:00] [SPEAKER_06]: August 25th, 24, 363 earthquakes
[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_06]: are two point or bigger, biggest of which was a six point nine
[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_06]: that came in and hit Tonga.
[00:42:12] [SPEAKER_06]: Then they got hit by a six point one.
[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Then they got hit by a five point three.
[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Mega mega energy.
[00:42:19] [SPEAKER_06]: I should share it in my in the chat, but
[00:42:23] [SPEAKER_06]: it's interesting to watch the day by day on the earthquake
[00:42:28] [SPEAKER_06]: site because you get to see like where they're moving about
[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_06]: in the world, where the most amount of earthquakes are and whatnot. Right.
[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_06]: So I find that really interesting.
[00:42:43] [SPEAKER_06]: And this week I did it kind of by day.
[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_06]: So most activity was in middle America, like right below Mexico,
[00:42:52] [SPEAKER_06]: but above South America, Central Asia, Indonesia, Tonga and New Zealand.
[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_06]: So you can literally see those areas like lighting up.
[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_06]: And then the next day you can see where that is traveling to.
[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_06]: So I'm going to share this in the check because it's pretty,
[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_06]: pretty darn interesting
[00:43:11] [SPEAKER_06]: if you guys are interested in tracking the earthquake
[00:43:16] [SPEAKER_06]: movements.
[00:43:18] [SPEAKER_06]: Hurricane Hone passes south of Hawaii.
[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Big storm came in as a cat one.
[00:43:25] [SPEAKER_06]: So that was lots of rain for them.
[00:43:30] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, they are used to getting that kind of activity, but still that was
[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_06]: some damage and some flooding.
[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_06]: The Grand Canyon in Arizona,
[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_06]: a hiker was swept away by flash flooding.
[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_06]: One of them died.
[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_06]: They had to rescue hundreds of people out of the Grand Canyon
[00:43:51] [SPEAKER_06]: because of this activity,
[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_06]: the flash flooding that happened there.
[00:43:56] [SPEAKER_06]: So crazy stuff going on there.
[00:43:59] [SPEAKER_06]: 26th of August, we are earthquake activity was really still in Central America.
[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_06]: Like Central America has just been getting hammered with earthquakes.
[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_06]: They have their volcanoes erupting as well, but it's just day after day.
[00:44:13] [SPEAKER_06]: They're getting hammered.
[00:44:15] [SPEAKER_06]: It really ignited into the Mediterranean, Central Asia,
[00:44:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Indonesia, went all the way up to Japan and Russia from Tonga all the way up.
[00:44:24] [SPEAKER_06]: So that was interesting to see.
[00:44:26] [SPEAKER_06]: Four hundred and five earthquakes that were two point or bigger,
[00:44:30] [SPEAKER_06]: biggest of which was a five point eight in the Indian Ocean.
[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_06]: A five point four hit list in Portugal.
[00:44:37] [SPEAKER_06]: That was a pretty big one that shook them pretty darn hard.
[00:44:40] [SPEAKER_06]: There's a four point six that hit the Dominican Republic.
[00:44:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Bangladesh is experiencing
[00:44:48] [SPEAKER_06]: absolutely devastation flooding right now.
[00:44:50] [SPEAKER_06]: This is their normal monsoon times over there.
[00:44:53] [SPEAKER_06]: But this rain that is coming in across Africa
[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_06]: has literally turned in the Sahara green.
[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_06]: There's going to be a new grow zone over there.
[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_06]: Sahara will be green again after the earth is done doing this change.
[00:45:06] [SPEAKER_06]: So fantastic time to be alive, guys.
[00:45:09] [SPEAKER_06]: We're going to see some stuff.
[00:45:11] [SPEAKER_06]: Thirty one people dead from that.
[00:45:13] [SPEAKER_06]: Thousands of people displaced.
[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_06]: One point two four million people affected by this flooding.
[00:45:20] [SPEAKER_06]: That massive destruction in France and Italy.
[00:45:25] [SPEAKER_06]: Six inch hail came down, just smashed through roofs,
[00:45:31] [SPEAKER_06]: through car windows, you know, destroying vehicles, that kind of thing.
[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_06]: Just massive disaster over there.
[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_06]: O'Neill, Nebraska also had a big hailstorm come in.
[00:45:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Bolivia is having these huge wildfires mostly around Santa Cruz.
[00:45:46] [SPEAKER_06]: So they're they're evacuating people out of there.
[00:45:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Lightning strike causes a 4000 acre fire in Madison County, Texas.
[00:45:57] [SPEAKER_06]: So big lightning came in.
[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_06]: Boom wildfire.
[00:46:02] [SPEAKER_06]: August 27th, more activity in middle America just lit up.
[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_06]: But it also went to Western South America on that day.
[00:46:11] [SPEAKER_06]: Went into Central Asia, Indonesia.
[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_06]: It kind of went back out, settled out of Russia, settled out of Japan,
[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_06]: down in New Zealand, Tonga.
[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_06]: There was three hundred and thirty five earthquakes that were two point
[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_06]: over bigger, biggest of which was a five point nine in the band of sea near
[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Indonesia and Thailand.
[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Twenty two people were killed in flash flooding.
[00:46:34] [SPEAKER_06]: Thirty thousand homes affected by this flooding landslides.
[00:46:38] [SPEAKER_06]: It was really not a good day in Thailand.
[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Please send your prayer for them.
[00:46:43] [SPEAKER_06]: In Sudan, an entire village was washed away when a dam collapsed.
[00:46:47] [SPEAKER_06]: So they're getting so much rain, so much unusual
[00:46:51] [SPEAKER_06]: amounts of precipitation just took the dam out, washed this whole town away.
[00:46:57] [SPEAKER_06]: It's what really makes me concerned about the Fort Pack Dam up north.
[00:47:02] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, with the amount of rain
[00:47:04] [SPEAKER_06]: numbers that we've been seeing, they're fracking near that thing.
[00:47:09] [SPEAKER_06]: So we need to do something as America about that Fort Pack Dam.
[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Damn damn.
[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_06]: I know. Damn damn.
[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_07]: Frack. Yeah.
[00:47:20] [SPEAKER_06]: In Nigeria, severe flooding,
[00:47:23] [SPEAKER_06]: 49 people dead, 41,000 people displaced.
[00:47:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Melbourne, there was a Melbourne, Australia.
[00:47:31] [SPEAKER_06]: There was a massive windstorm causes chaos.
[00:47:34] [SPEAKER_06]: Southeast Michigan was also hit by severe winds.
[00:47:39] [SPEAKER_06]: On August 28th of 24, there was three hundred sixty earthquakes
[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_06]: or two point over bigger, biggest of which was a six point one
[00:47:46] [SPEAKER_06]: in the North Pacific Ocean near El Salvador.
[00:47:49] [SPEAKER_06]: Again, middle America just getting cream.
[00:47:53] [SPEAKER_06]: That activity spread out to the Caribbean.
[00:47:56] [SPEAKER_06]: Central Asia was still there really, really hit hard.
[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_06]: And there was spotting from Tonga all the way up to Russia along that
[00:48:04] [SPEAKER_06]: that the Pacific coast in there.
[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Frackin damn like that just pulled my attention.
[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_06]: Square away.
[00:48:16] [SPEAKER_08]: That just infested my mind.
[00:48:19] [SPEAKER_06]: It's in there.
[00:48:21] [SPEAKER_06]: In Florida, there was a four point three earthquake
[00:48:24] [SPEAKER_06]: just east of Lake Okeechee Bee and New York had another earthquake.
[00:48:31] [SPEAKER_06]: Wow. Right.
[00:48:33] [SPEAKER_06]: And the Florida one was really part of that
[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_06]: activity in the Caribbean.
[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_06]: But there's also like some military stuff over there as well.
[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_06]: They always talk about
[00:48:44] [SPEAKER_06]: two huge tornadoes hit the northern plains.
[00:48:49] [SPEAKER_06]: We're talking North Dakota, South Dakota, getting hit with tornadoes.
[00:48:53] [SPEAKER_06]: Twenty four people missing in Yemen from flash flooding.
[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_06]: Cholera risks.
[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, you got all this water
[00:49:01] [SPEAKER_06]: just garbage and defecation and all kinds of bad bacteria
[00:49:05] [SPEAKER_06]: really running wild milk.
[00:49:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, this is one of two stories I have on this.
[00:49:11] [SPEAKER_06]: Millions of fish, dead fish washed up on the shores of Greece.
[00:49:18] [SPEAKER_06]: Millions of them.
[00:49:20] [SPEAKER_06]: So you know, something went wrong there.
[00:49:25] [SPEAKER_06]: Flooding in Jingxing China,
[00:49:27] [SPEAKER_06]: their largest desert getting flooding.
[00:49:32] [SPEAKER_06]: So this is a crazy stuff going on.
[00:49:37] [SPEAKER_06]: My table wildfire, that big wildfire over
[00:49:40] [SPEAKER_06]: 200000 acres burned there.
[00:49:42] [SPEAKER_06]: Brazil wildfire near Sao Paulo.
[00:49:46] [SPEAKER_06]: That's the same areas like Bolivia's fires burning,
[00:49:49] [SPEAKER_06]: really getting out of control.
[00:49:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Those are big ones to make world news.
[00:49:53] [SPEAKER_06]: On the 29th of August, Middle America hit again,
[00:49:57] [SPEAKER_06]: along with the Caribbean, Central Asia, Thailand.
[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_06]: Thailand just had all that flooding.
[00:50:02] [SPEAKER_06]: Now they have these earthquakes and we're talking Indonesia
[00:50:06] [SPEAKER_06]: all the way up to Japan. We had activity going off.
[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_06]: We had a five point four in Afghanistan was our biggest one.
[00:50:13] [SPEAKER_06]: 382 earthquakes are two point over bigger.
[00:50:17] [SPEAKER_06]: A series of several severe storms went through Minnesota, Wisconsin area.
[00:50:23] [SPEAKER_06]: Tornadoes actually shut down their state fair one night.
[00:50:27] [SPEAKER_06]: The storm got so bad.
[00:50:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Typhoon Shachian hit Japan, spawning tornadoes there.
[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, the amount of flooding they got after that is what we're going
[00:50:36] [SPEAKER_06]: to be reporting on in the days to come.
[00:50:39] [SPEAKER_06]: Tennessee National Guard was actually called out to battle
[00:50:43] [SPEAKER_06]: a wildfire that was happening in the Smoky Mountains.
[00:50:47] [SPEAKER_06]: And then on August 30th of 2024,
[00:50:52] [SPEAKER_06]: southwestern North America.
[00:50:54] [SPEAKER_06]: So we're talking SoCal, Arizona in there.
[00:50:57] [SPEAKER_06]: We started lighting up with some earthquake activity.
[00:51:00] [SPEAKER_06]: So slowly creeping up for Middle America.
[00:51:03] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, Middle America just still getting just slaughtered with
[00:51:07] [SPEAKER_06]: earthquake activity.
[00:51:08] [SPEAKER_06]: Also went out in the Caribbean. Greenland got hit.
[00:51:11] [SPEAKER_06]: Central Asia and then again from Tonga all the way up to Russia.
[00:51:15] [SPEAKER_06]: So we're just seeing so much activity going there.
[00:51:18] [SPEAKER_06]: And after that six point hit Tonga, I mean, you'd expect to see that
[00:51:21] [SPEAKER_06]: for a few days. There was 366 earthquakes on August 30th.
[00:51:26] [SPEAKER_06]: There were two point over bigger, biggest of which was a six point.
[00:51:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, that hit Kamchakka, Russia.
[00:51:33] [SPEAKER_06]: So once we see an earthquake that big in Kamchakka,
[00:51:36] [SPEAKER_06]: we're looking for activity over in Alaska.
[00:51:38] [SPEAKER_06]: We're looking for that activity to feed down in the northern part of North America.
[00:51:43] [SPEAKER_06]: So we should be seeing that in the days to come.
[00:51:46] [SPEAKER_06]: I just keep eyes open if I was in that area, if I was you guys.
[00:51:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Australia, there was a six point seven
[00:51:53] [SPEAKER_06]: earthquake in the northern territory, one of Australia's
[00:51:57] [SPEAKER_06]: largest earthquakes ever recorded.
[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_06]: So again, I'm going to get into the volcano numbers in just a minute.
[00:52:05] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, it's been crazy week after week, every week.
[00:52:07] [SPEAKER_06]: And now we're having like these crazy, just super rare earthquakes,
[00:52:11] [SPEAKER_06]: all just making headlines with all this flooding.
[00:52:15] [SPEAKER_06]: There was a hundred and forty five earthquakes
[00:52:18] [SPEAKER_06]: in Nevada near the Long Valley Caldera,
[00:52:22] [SPEAKER_06]: which is like right below Mammoth Mountain.
[00:52:25] [SPEAKER_06]: It sits on the edge of the California and Nevada coastline.
[00:52:28] [SPEAKER_06]: Hundred and forty five earthquakes in one week near that
[00:52:32] [SPEAKER_06]: super volcano, which could be way more devastational than
[00:52:38] [SPEAKER_06]: Yellowstone because Yellowstone vents so much.
[00:52:41] [SPEAKER_06]: None of that vents.
[00:52:43] [SPEAKER_06]: So can't be flagrary.
[00:52:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Also, it's coming up. It's coming up.
[00:52:47] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm just so excited.
[00:52:50] [SPEAKER_06]: The cyclone that hit Pakistan, thousands of dead fish
[00:52:54] [SPEAKER_06]: washing up on the shores of Pakistan.
[00:52:57] [SPEAKER_06]: So what is going on?
[00:52:58] [SPEAKER_06]: Is it because of the magnetic pull shift that these fish
[00:53:01] [SPEAKER_06]: just aren't finding their way properly?
[00:53:04] [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
[00:53:05] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, that's two stories about millions and thousands of fish
[00:53:09] [SPEAKER_06]: washing up on shorelines in one week.
[00:53:12] [SPEAKER_06]: Severe flash flooding in Sudan.
[00:53:15] [SPEAKER_06]: We talked about the dam already that blasted there.
[00:53:17] [SPEAKER_06]: It just goes on.
[00:53:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Virginia was hit by a hail storm.
[00:53:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Fuego volcano in Guatemala had a massive eruption.
[00:53:26] [SPEAKER_06]: And then yesterday, August 31st, 355 earthquakes.
[00:53:31] [SPEAKER_06]: There were two point or bigger, biggest of which was a five point
[00:53:34] [SPEAKER_06]: one in Indonesia.
[00:53:35] [SPEAKER_06]: Middle America still lit up.
[00:53:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Central Asia still lit up.
[00:53:39] [SPEAKER_06]: And then Japan, Indonesia having the massive amounts of energy there.
[00:53:44] [SPEAKER_06]: Campy flagrary Italy, another large earthquake swarm.
[00:53:49] [SPEAKER_06]: So we're eyes on that with the lineup of the gas giants
[00:53:53] [SPEAKER_06]: coming out in October 22nd, causing the Earth to do weird things.
[00:53:58] [SPEAKER_06]: Magnetically, I'm just saying.
[00:54:01] [SPEAKER_06]: No, stay prepared as always.
[00:54:05] [SPEAKER_06]: Karachi, India under a cyclone alert, but it's steered away.
[00:54:09] [SPEAKER_06]: They're still getting a lot of rain, severe flooding in Jhragarh, India.
[00:54:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Sorry if I slaughtered that and you're from India.
[00:54:16] [SPEAKER_06]: That was 28 people dead just from the normal.
[00:54:21] [SPEAKER_06]: They normally have their monsoon rains right now,
[00:54:24] [SPEAKER_06]: but they're just getting it on an unprecedented scale.
[00:54:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Twenty eight people dead.
[00:54:29] [SPEAKER_06]: The volcano in Iceland is still erupting and is massively erupting.
[00:54:33] [SPEAKER_06]: They still have Grindivac evacuated.
[00:54:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Croatia is battling a wildfire near a popular tourist district.
[00:54:42] [SPEAKER_06]: Trapical disturbance impacting Houston, Texas.
[00:54:46] [SPEAKER_06]: And we're already having a very strange front kind of move across the United States.
[00:54:51] [SPEAKER_06]: It's going to be cooling some areas down, hopefully us.
[00:54:55] [SPEAKER_06]: But we're going to keep eyes on that because it's also bringing
[00:54:57] [SPEAKER_06]: a lot of crazy weather with it on the front line of it.
[00:55:02] [SPEAKER_06]: And then the Philippines is about to get hit again by another tropical storm,
[00:55:06] [SPEAKER_06]: so they can't break either there.
[00:55:09] [SPEAKER_06]: As far as volcanic eruptions go, we have 34 volcanoes
[00:55:12] [SPEAKER_06]: actively erupting on our planet right now, 32 showing minor activity
[00:55:17] [SPEAKER_06]: at 24 showing unrest.
[00:55:20] [SPEAKER_06]: So last time we reported the volcano numbers was two weeks ago.
[00:55:24] [SPEAKER_06]: At the same amount of erupting 34, which is in all the years that I've been
[00:55:29] [SPEAKER_06]: doing the change in Earth News, still top in the charts,
[00:55:32] [SPEAKER_06]: still the most I've ever seen.
[00:55:35] [SPEAKER_06]: We didn't add any more volcanoes to our list,
[00:55:38] [SPEAKER_06]: but one move from unrest into minor activity.
[00:55:41] [SPEAKER_06]: So it kicked it up a notch, right?
[00:55:44] [SPEAKER_06]: And then the main hole of the volcanoes that are erupting are in Indonesia.
[00:55:52] [SPEAKER_06]: OK, as far as United States wildfires,
[00:55:55] [SPEAKER_06]: sorry, I can't do the world, but I just can't find those numbers
[00:55:58] [SPEAKER_06]: or I absolutely would.
[00:56:00] [SPEAKER_06]: But in the United States of America, we're at a preparedness level of four.
[00:56:05] [SPEAKER_06]: We have one new fire on the board, 42 large ones,
[00:56:10] [SPEAKER_06]: one million six hundred seventy one thousand three hundred
[00:56:13] [SPEAKER_06]: and ten acres of fire.
[00:56:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Only two of those fires are contained.
[00:56:17] [SPEAKER_06]: However, in years past, I've seen that one million number
[00:56:21] [SPEAKER_06]: in just California alone.
[00:56:23] [SPEAKER_06]: So we're actually doing really, really good this year as far as
[00:56:29] [SPEAKER_06]: total total numbers for our wildfire activity.
[00:56:32] [SPEAKER_06]: I think the most that we got up to so far was like two million.
[00:56:36] [SPEAKER_06]: So and that was like last week.
[00:56:38] [SPEAKER_06]: So that's essentially pretty decent wildfire numbers for the summer.
[00:56:42] [SPEAKER_06]: There was also much less wildfires in Canada as well this year,
[00:56:45] [SPEAKER_06]: even though we still heard stories about the smoke and stuff like that.
[00:56:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Last year was really bad.
[00:56:51] [SPEAKER_06]: Number one state for wildfires is Wyoming.
[00:56:54] [SPEAKER_06]: They have six fires burning four hundred and sixty four
[00:56:57] [SPEAKER_06]: hundred and sixty one thousand acres.
[00:57:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Zero of those are contained.
[00:57:03] [SPEAKER_06]: So California, not even in the top slot this year,
[00:57:06] [SPEAKER_06]: which is really nice to see.
[00:57:07] [SPEAKER_06]: They are in the number two spot.
[00:57:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Three fires currently burning for a total of four hundred
[00:57:12] [SPEAKER_06]: and fifty thousand acres on fire.
[00:57:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Oregon's in the number 12 spot.
[00:57:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Number three spot with 12 fires actively burning three hundred
[00:57:22] [SPEAKER_06]: and thirty eight thousand acres.
[00:57:24] [SPEAKER_06]: And then bringing on the fourth spot is Idaho.
[00:57:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Fifteen fires, two hundred and four thousand acres.
[00:57:30] [SPEAKER_06]: And one of those fires is contained.
[00:57:33] [SPEAKER_06]: So, I mean, overall, that's that's pretty good news
[00:57:36] [SPEAKER_06]: as far as wildfires go.
[00:57:38] [SPEAKER_06]: And if this weather front comes in and keeps hosing things off,
[00:57:42] [SPEAKER_06]: it should look pretty good through the end of the year.
[00:57:45] [SPEAKER_06]: They said we were going to have like a super bad hurricane season
[00:57:48] [SPEAKER_06]: and it might still produce itself.
[00:57:50] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, technically we're still in the beginning of hurricane season.
[00:57:54] [SPEAKER_06]: The hurricanes we did have came really early this year.
[00:57:58] [SPEAKER_06]: But and they were watching like two disturbances out in the Atlantic.
[00:58:03] [SPEAKER_06]: So the news media says, but when I looked on Zoom Earth,
[00:58:06] [SPEAKER_06]: they didn't look like they were shaping up to very much.
[00:58:10] [SPEAKER_06]: So, of course, Zoom Earth is a great place.
[00:58:12] [SPEAKER_06]: If you want to go and see what's happening with all of the
[00:58:15] [SPEAKER_06]: all the weather patterns,
[00:58:17] [SPEAKER_06]: but cyclones and stuff like that as well. So.
[00:58:21] [SPEAKER_06]: All righty. So flooding, flooding is the story of the.
[00:58:26] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, flooding the massive amounts of earthquakes and stuff going on.
[00:58:33] [SPEAKER_06]: I really don't want to be in Nostradamus with my books.
[00:58:36] [SPEAKER_06]: So there's a reason I picked earthquakes.
[00:58:43] [SPEAKER_06]: Already, well, that's all we got for you today.
[00:58:48] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm capped out on my change in Earth news.
[00:58:50] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm all worn out now.
[00:58:52] [SPEAKER_08]: You know, you ran through it already, Sarah.
[00:58:54] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, we don't have to keep feeding your love of catastrophe.
[00:58:59] [SPEAKER_06]: I just want people to be ready.
[00:59:01] [SPEAKER_06]: Look what's going on around the earth.
[00:59:03] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, they don't they don't tell us about this on the news.
[00:59:06] [SPEAKER_06]: You would never ever know unless you get out there and hunt it down.
[00:59:10] [SPEAKER_06]: And I'm here to do it for you.
[00:59:12] [SPEAKER_08]: I think you had the triple play of flooding episodes last week
[00:59:15] [SPEAKER_08]: how people prepare for this.
[00:59:17] [SPEAKER_06]: That's why I chose the flood.
[00:59:19] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, it's like we're going to get people ready.
[00:59:24] [SPEAKER_06]: I don't like what I'm seeing as far as those numbers go.
[00:59:29] [SPEAKER_06]: And man, that four pack dammit's legit out there.
[00:59:32] [SPEAKER_06]: Like, you guys got to check it out.
[00:59:34] [SPEAKER_06]: They need to get that thing redone.
[00:59:36] [SPEAKER_06]: All of the Mississippi Valley kind of depends on it.
[00:59:39] [SPEAKER_06]: So I would I don't know.
[00:59:42] [SPEAKER_06]: They're not looking at infrastructure, wondering what they can fix.
[00:59:46] [SPEAKER_06]: And we're just under the gun as far as these natural disasters go.
[00:59:49] [SPEAKER_06]: So it's going to be really interesting.
[00:59:51] [SPEAKER_06]: I don't think we're going to be able to be reactionary long.
[00:59:56] [SPEAKER_06]: All right, guys, head on over, changing our series.
[01:00:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Check out the new merchandise, check out the new skins.
[01:00:03] [SPEAKER_06]: They look beautiful.
[01:00:05] [SPEAKER_06]: Give Doug a shout out on his show.
[01:00:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Tell him thank you from Sarah.
[01:00:10] [SPEAKER_06]: Always appreciate him.
[01:00:11] [SPEAKER_06]: Hopefully we're going to get to see a proper camp and you know,
[01:00:14] [SPEAKER_06]: we're just going to get more and more jazzed up as the days take by here.
[01:00:18] [SPEAKER_06]: It's like waiting for Christmas. So
[01:00:22] [SPEAKER_06]: hope you guys enjoy the show.
