You're listening to PBN. You're paying back the stability here. What up, everybody? I'm going to read you something. I know everybody's nervous. Can't tell me different. The stats, oh, check it. The stats tell me all, okay? It was an exponential day. Well, the last three days, actually, have been insane at PBN stats-wise in terms of overall listens to podcasts in general. Some things move the American people. Some things don't. I want to talk about, you know, what I really want. We're going to talk about a new fortress initiative for the home, the home fortress. I'll give you the origins on that. It was a phone call from Jordan. Kickstart. You know what I mean? She's a spark plug for sure. And a lot of times I need that. But I also want to talk about this sort of worldwide thing. Prepping initiative. Both sides. Because it's... Look, these headlines, they do things, man. You have to be aware of the fact that they do things. They sell things. They sell advertising. They sell small generators for the home. You know what I mean? They push people into action. And there's a piece of that. And there's another piece of that that's political that I want to talk about, too. Because, look... I don't know. You know, what happened in 2020? You know, something happened, right? The fear in 2020 changed... Fear changes things, right? It changes sort of culture. It does. It changes priorities, right? We'll get into it. But I wouldn't be surprised... Oh, the Ditch Doc is back. What's up, man? I wouldn't be surprised... if this had, if this was not entirely, like I said, there's a lot of influence. This is not just a shot across the bow for overall military preparedness. You know what I mean? And the effect that it had on people and so on and so forth. We'll talk about that today because that's a big piece. I don't know. I see the vampiric like element of it and it's, I'm part of it, so I can't sit here and pretend like I'm holier than thou on that end, right? It's a good opportunity. But what's really going on? You know what I mean? If you really sit down and get outside of the bubble of fear, get out of the side of the bubble of opportunity, which I have to do. I have to step outside of that. You can look at it like a vampire and be like, oh my God, I can suck the blood out of this story. You wouldn't even believe it. But you get outside of that and, you know, what's really happened here? What's happened domestically? Why? Why this move at this time domestically? Why is it happening across the board, right? I want to talk about all that today. I want to open up with the Home Fortress structure, okay? And the Home Fortress initiative that was an idea in chat. Well, let's see. What was it? I don't know, 5.50 p.m. two days ago, three days ago, something like that. The 27th. Everybody, all the hosts in the back channel chat are talking, right, about what's going on and that kind of stuff. I send this message. I want to do something with this fortress initiative. In World War II, we had the Victory Gardens. I want to create a plan slash schedule slash routine for turning every American home into a fortress, right? Obviously understanding that there are immense variables. Money. space, right? The big sort of prepping hard stops that we all deal with. How do we get around those things? You know, how do we create something that anybody can play in? A sandbox that anybody can play in, right? And I immediately get a phone call from Jordan. Immediately. 5.55 p.m. I bet you she called me 5.57 p.m. With a notebook and a pen. Notepad and a pen. And I know why, by the way, Jordan. I understand it. The intrepid commander's a flake. He's an airhead. So these ideas, whoosh. You know what I mean? Sometimes they come through. Sometimes they stick. Sometimes they don't. And I think she liked this one and she didn't want to see it die. Because that can happen. It all depends. You know what I mean? What do I latch on to like a tick? It all depends. I don't know what's with the blood sucking today and all that. I guess it's the proximity to Halloween. But anyway. So... We go on for about 45 minutes or whatever, notes and ideas back and forth, figuring out, should we do it? What would it look like to do it? If we're going to state the question, the Pentagon's building fortresses for 90 days, how would you turn your home into a fortress where you could sustain longer than you can currently? And not just hypotheticals. Not just like, you need more food, you need more water, you need more power. But what does that actually look like, right? We started talking about those things. And then, you know, as the ideas developed, we also thought about like, what could we do immediate quick fixes that are cheap and effective? And that really got me excited, right? Because I wanted to be able to do that. I wanted to be able to say, you have this concern, maybe you can't close the loop or fill the gap completely. But maybe there's an affordable and effective way that you can make a difference, right? That you can make a fix right now. And we went through and we thought about a bunch of those for each category too. Now, I expanded on this and I'm going to show you, I'm just going to be completely clear with you. I used the notes that we created and I built out a sort of an eight week structure. You know what I mean? And that eight week structure is going to be built on emails and podcasts. All right. There'll be links, there'll be stuff, all that kind of thing. Right. Sort of a follow along. Keep what you want to keep from it. Discard the rest. It's up to you. I'm going to put a link into the Instagram chat. There's a link in a variety of chats. I don't know where you're watching. You know what I mean? It's very easy though. Chirp.me slash PBN. What Chirp.me slash PBN allows me to do is put a bunch of stuff in front of you that's pertinent. Everything changes over time. You know what I mean? To put it all on a website is to redo a website every other day. I'm not doing it. So Chirp.me slash PBN. Pertinent information right up front. Most importantly is the email sign up. If you want to sign up for the emails, right? Now, If you're over at Instagram, when I put this link up, you better use this link. If you don't use this link quickly, what's up, Rambo Rogan? How you been, man? You know shit's getting squirrely when Rambo Rogan shows up in the chat room. I ain't seen you in a while, but I ain't been on here in a while, really, in terms of paying close attention to chat, so it might not be you. But anyway, sign up for the email. Quickly, if you're at Instagram or write down chirp.me slash PBN, which will have the sign up for the email. Just scroll down past the podcast player and you'll see 50 must read books to survive doomsday, which is a gift. OK, that's a gift that you get when you sign up for our newsletter. Has nothing to do with the fortress initiative, but or has nothing to do with the home fortress. But it's awesome. I mean, it's an incredible collection of books, and it's completely free when you sign up for the newsletter. There will be newsletter stuff weekly coming, right, having to do with The Forge. Let me show you. Let's just show off what we've created because Jordan just popped into chat so she can see what I came up with as well. We're showing them, as our friends at Be Prepared Solutions says, we're showing them a little bit how we're going to make this sausage, Jay Ferg, okay? So you're dealing with the intro episode right now, okay? Here's our seven-day, eight-week series structure. I know it sounds really... You got to take these things seriously or else they don't get done. I've learned this over time. Trust me. I'd much rather call this like the really fun stuff we're going to do for the next few weeks type of thing. But, you know, sometimes you got to get a little serious. So, look, we're going to touch on energy independence, water, and fuel resilience. Did you listen to yesterday's Repairedness podcast? Please tell me you listened. to that great podcast on generators, backup power, and fuel storage. It is likely the most important. If you're really worried about this stuff, you're really worried about power going out, it's probably one of the most important podcasts you listen to. Week four, strategic reserves, cash and other goods, right? Um, week five, supply chain resilience, week six, hardening and security. Why are we breaking up into weeks? Why are we breaking this up into weeks? You want it fixed right now. You don't want to think about it anymore. Pete Hegseth, you dreamt about him last night, right? You had nightmares. You weren't dreaming about Michael Myers. You dream about Pete Hegseth and the 90 days of a blackout, the 90 day blackout, right? That's coming. Um, Could be much longer than that, just in all reality. Common sense, practical prep, what is up? So take a look at that thing. Understand this is what we're getting ourselves into. You'll hear it from me. You'll hear it from myself. And you'll probably hear it from Jordan, too, on her show. And you may hear it from Dave Jones and other hosts. I'm going to share this with all the hosts just so they know kind of the overarching doctrine that we're going to be doing over these next eight weeks. We'll probably do– I personally will do a show per week. All right? Information dense. Probably product dense. Probably like stuff. Probably stuff. Energy Independent Show will definitely have stuff to buy. If you want to buy it. You don't have to. And we will most certainly– every episode is going to have sort of the immediate fix. The immediate fix concept is critical here. Why is that critical? Because some of you are only going to be engaged– for another week or so. Let's be real, right? Some of you are only going to be engaged for another week or so. You know who you are. I watch, you know, I watch the, I can read the tea leaves really well because I watch stats in a variety of different, you know, social networks, podcasts, all that kind of stuff. I see when people go, oh my God, something serious is happening. And then it starts to taper off after about a week, two weeks at max and people go back to their normal life. I forgot about the The nightmares with the Pete Hegseth face hovering over my bed. The sleep demon of the Pete Hegseth. How about that? I forgot all about that. And I'm back to soccer and back to what's for dinner and back to all that. Those things. Those things that we all want to sustain. And that's the point of preparedness, right? What we'd like to do is make ourselves so busy that we drive ourselves completely insane. And we're on antidepressant medications and anti-inflammatory medications. And then we want to sustain that way of life against all odds. We want to defend our misery like you wouldn't believe so we can continue to suffer our success, you know, as we do. Oh, my God. There's a VIP in this chat room, folks. Holy shit. There is a VIP. I'm not going to tell you who it is, but there's a VIP in the Instagram chat. Oh man. How cool. How cool. You knocked me completely off my game. I got, I got to end the show now. I'm getting goosebumps. So look, uh, where'd we stop? Hardening and security week six. Okay. Week six. We'll do, uh, I'll show you all the goods, the door armor, and a lot of the cool stuff that's out there that you can buy stuff that we use stuff that I want. Right. Um, And security concepts, you know, when really security concepts are as important as sort of the hard stuff, right? The upgraded locks, the added deadbolts, those kinds of things. Just as important. And process, right? Like, look, process, you wouldn't believe it, but largely security process in our house is handled by my wife. Funny enough. I've only recently started locking my car. She's definitely the one who is like, is the house locked or the window? I'm one of those like, leave the windows open at night, let the air in type of thing. If not for her, we would go to sleep all the time with the front door unlocked. It's just one of those things. It's a running thing in her head. God bless her. Communications and cyber resilience. You know, we're going to beat you to death with the radio check-ins, guys. That's all there is to it. The whole purpose of the radio check-ins and the relationship with Skycom PTT is exactly for the Fortress situation. It's exactly what it's for. You know what I mean? It's so that you can press a button and hear people. That's as simple as I've set it up for you. That is the way I wanted to set it up for you. I wanted to set a comms group for a long time. We had a ham radio study group. Look. My personal opinion, ham radio sucks, okay? I know. You're not allowed to say that as a prepper. You're supposed to be like ham. There are guys out there who do it, and they're the guys to do it. You know what I mean? You hear frequency and you get excited, you're the man for ham radio. I am not the man for ham radio. And more importantly, I'm not the odd man out in that. If I were the odd man out in that, I'd say, all right, shut up. and tighten up and study the book and do the tests and get your license. But the whole process, you know what I mean? All of that. I'm not, it's like, I always tell you, I know you know how to do it, but where we're at right now is, are you going to do it? You know what I mean? I know you can figure out how to make a, a whatever that you want to make, create an emergency plan. Uh, you know, it, build out your own pace plan, learn the ham radio, learn the GMRS, get the license, all that kind of stuff. Like I know you can learn how to, you learn how to do anything on YouTube. The question is, are you going to do it? And what I found is no, you know what I mean? No, no, I'm not going to do it. I'm not going to learn how to use a ham radio. It's just not going to happen. And even if I do bulldog it for like six months, Then it's going to fall off the radio and I'm going to lose the skill anyway. Skycom PTT is the website to get to the PocLink radios that we use every Sunday night for the radio check-ins. It's a national radio check-in. It's a place to go to hear people's voices so that if an East Coast blackout happens, just because a blackout happens immediately doesn't mean you're going to lose cell service immediately. All cell service will not be blacked out immediately, right? But maybe you try to get on a cell phone and because the whole East Coast is out, guess what? Can't make a phone call, right? I don't know if the Skycoms will work there, but they'll give you an alternative option outside of text, outside of cell directly, right? Let's say that there's a cyber attack and Verizon is offline. T-Mobile is offline, whatever. The Skycom radios use all possible avenues of cell service, right? So even if a few are down, the POC radio is still going to get a message out through one of those that are working. So that'll be a big piece of that, right? If you like what I'm saying with that, every Sunday we meet for about, we're asking like 10 whole minutes of your life to check in with your radio, to use your emergency radio every week. We're asking about 10 minutes of your life. And yeah, Then you'll have a viable alternative communications method as part of your PACE plan. And if you want to throw these things in everybody's backpack in your family, then you have that built in there. You know what I mean? I hope to get there, to be honest with you. Comms and cyber resilience. I may bring a guest on for that. I may bring guests on for a lot of these, actually. I think it'd be fun. Integration and community, obviously huge, right? What's the biggest fear of a long-term blackout? Raise your hand. You know what I mean? Oh, your live video has been interrupted. Check your streaming software. Ever since I put this chirp link into Instagram and they told me I was sharing an unsafe link, that's been happening. If you can still hear me over at Instagram, let me know. They hate us. I don't know why they hate us. We don't do anything wrong. I've said nothing off-color wrong. You know what I mean? I don't know what it is. Things just always go wrong. Yet we persevere. So that's the whole layout. That's the fortress layout, like I said, over the next seven to eight weeks. We'll see who we can bring on to touch base on it, but it'll be podcast talk, right? It'll be email, newsletter stuff. That'll contain your links, right? If you want links to resources, you want links to products and that kind of stuff, that's how it's going to come. I may create a fortress shopping list. I started bombing around and looking at deals and stuff like that for people who want to buy everything in these categories, water, fuel, energy, independence, these kinds of things and have products that are reliable that we know people who have them and use them so you don't wind up buying crap. As I've told you before, I can't even sell you the solar generator that I use because they're not even in business anymore. And that's my take on Buy American, by the way. My take on Buy American is it sounds really nice, but nobody does it when it comes down to it. Well, not nobody does it, but not enough people do it. That was the story of Point Zero Energy, right? Beautiful metal built in America or assembled in America, tested in America, solar generator company. They lost. They lost the battle to Shenzhen, if you know what I mean. And that's it. That's how it goes. So let's talk about what, you know, let's do the diagnosis. Thanks, Ditch Doc. Ditch Doc says that the X is working loud and clear. Yeah, they never give us trouble. There are entities that never give us trouble. Our podcast host, thankfully, Spreaker, has never given us any issues. The only time they ever get mad is if I play too much music. We took your episode down, damn it. You're not a DJ, okay? Talk what you're talking. Now I want to talk about this preparedness thing at large and this fortress thing at large. OK, but I wanted to let you guys know what's coming and let you know we're on it. We're on it. If you'd like to get on it, then you can get on it. I can't hold your hand over all these years. It's just one of those things you realize that you can't. It's really hard to change somebody. It's really hard to push people to take action. Really is. It's really hard. And I'm not I'm not as interested in the click action. It's not super hard to get people to click a link and buy something. You know what I mean? That's not the most hard. What's hard is to say, hey, stay with me for eight weeks. Stay with me for eight weeks, and you'll be way better prepared. We just did it for 30 days, right? We just did national preparedness month, 30-day broadcast, boom, boom, boom, every single day, incredible stuff. I hope somebody who listened, you know, saw this fortress initiative come out and went, well, you know, We upgraded all through September, so we're in pretty good shape. I have no idea how people feel who are completely unprepared for anything. You know what I mean? I have no idea the level of anxiety. I mean, I would need medication. I always make that joke here, but I would literally, I think I would need medication. If I woke up tomorrow, and I mean, I have I'm so disorganized, but so laden in things that I have a, there's a table over here that with MRE stack to the, and that was a sheer storage issue, but I got bug out bags on the floor here that need to be, be refilled because they were used for camping trip. And, uh, actually it's two that were used for a camping trip. They were just really spread out trips and I haven't fixed them since. Yeah. If you had nothing, I don't even, I don't even know how you deal with it. Um, If you want to make an immediate impact, like an immediate impact right now, just– I had a concept in my head yesterday while I was driving around. It was just flirt with a million calories. Write that down, okay? Write that down right now. Write it down on your arm. Write it down on your hand, your notebook, whatever. Type it into an email and send it to yourself. Just flirt with a million calories, okay? Around about a million calories is your family for a year, right? You don't want to put it all up in one thing, obviously, but flirt with a million calories. Keep that in the back of your head. If you get into bulk buying and food storage and that kind of stuff, it's a move that could cost me in the long run. Maybe not. Maybe the food storage, meals, business is in the can anyway, which we'd all be better for it. But I've made a commitment that I'm not buying those things anymore. I don't think they're compatible. My family, they're not compatible with me. And I'm the craziest eater of the bunch. So if I'm not eating the, you know, whatever the hell, southwestern mango chili freeze-dried textured vegetable protein meal that's in the container, what good is it? You know what I mean? Yeah, I think I'm going to get my wife to taste it. It's not going to happen. So it does me no good. It feels good. It looks good. Oh, I got a bin and there's bags in it and there's food in there. And there was this old sort of myth in the prepping world of like, you get hungry enough, you'll eat it. I'd believe that up until Ration of Ruin when I was hungry enough. I was hungry enough and I still didn't finish eating the food out of that bin. And that was when I said, we'll just, instead of spending money on those things, what is one of those What does one of those buckets cost nowadays? I have no idea. Does anybody know in chat what a meal bucket costs? Not a 72-hour job. Well, yeah, I guess that is probably like a 72-hour. But one of these mainline brands, you know what I mean, got to be in the hundreds of dollars, right? 120, 150, something like that. Right now, it's probably even more because they're like, everybody's worried. Thank you, Pete. And we'll get to that because that is a thing. Thank you, Pete, is a thing. No doubt about it. Look, the most scary part. Well, let's first finish this thought before jumping to the next thought. 120 bucks. Let's go with that because the math is easy. I know right now you can go to Sam's Club and get a 20-pound bag of rice. The common sense practical prepper, our man Keith, says 150-ish. Whoops. 150-ish for one of those buckets, right? I'm going to go with 120 because it makes the math easy because I'm a retard. I get free buckets at Harbor Freight. Are they filled or just empty? Because I'm going to Harbor Freight if people are handing out free buckets of food. Anyhow, so 50-pound bag of rice, white rice, right? 20-ish. 20-ish, 21, 22 max right now, Sam's Club. I go there. I will be going there, right? What's that? 80,000 calories prepared. Remember what I just told you, flirt with a million calories, right? So for 120, right? 120, that's six bags. That's six times 80,000 calories, right? Now we're talking what? 480,000, almost half. Now we're flirting with almost half of a million calories. You get what I'm saying? For that same price as your chicken flavored rice. Not chicken and rice. Chicken flavored rice. Rice in a, which, and it's like parboiled roundish weird rice. Weird. About $ 40 for a 50 pound bag of rice at Sam's. What? No. No way. There's no way. Where you live at? You must live in the Northeast or something. I've never, never paid anywhere close to $ 40. Unless their prices went up insane. If I saw 25, I'd be blown out of the water. Blown out of the water. So let me preface it with Virginia, in Virginia. Virginia Sam's Club, okay? But think about that. That's a lot. I would probably push back. Did I do the math right? Or is it 48? Yeah, 480. So I would push back on filling the coffers like that. Oh, jasmine rice. Okay, I should have specified. You're right, jasmine rice. Go cheap white rice. If you got nothing, if you want to make a big dent, right, cheap white rice, $ 20. My bad, Ditch Doc. I thought you were scraping the bottom of the barrel like the rest of us. I didn't know you were eating high on the hog with jasmine rice. I'm kidding. But anyway, from the monetary standpoint, right, or from the affordability, $ 20 for 80,000 calories. Just wrap your head around that. So now let's talk about thank you, Pete Hegseth. Every major news outlet, thank you, Pete Hegseth. Every food storage company, solar generator company, thank you, Pete Hegseth. The other thing that's creepy is, you know, we're sitting down and we're having a meeting or something. Something happens with Pete Hegseth and, you know, the Republican Party, Donald Trump, that whole group, right? And you go, At some point, this fortress initiative comes down the line, and you go there for approval and that kind of stuff. I don't know how it all works. But at some point, there's an idea of a fortress initiative. I want to bolster the military's capability, make sure they can survive off-grid, right? Why? Probably number one, because the number one biggest reason I have to imagine is because we got hit with a tidal wave of technology. and just auto-adopted it all. Everybody did it. Everybody got hit with more convenient and comfortable technology, absorbed it. Yeah, we'll depend on it 100%. We'll guide our missiles with it. it. We'll do everything with it. You know what I mean? We'll put it in all of our vehicles and travel with it, and this is how we'll get around. Yeah, we'll throw some paper maps in there, but nobody knows how to use that shit. We'll just use the G. So that massive adoption of comfort and convenient technology was adopted by everybody, right? particularly the, not particularly, but the military too. And then all of a sudden you go, ooh, this could go away. Everybody had that realization. The EMP commission, right, for anybody who was paying attention, and I think that was a general. Wasn't it a general who brought that to Congress's attention? Either way, the EMP commission was like, we get hit with an EMP, we're done. We're done. It's over. You know what I mean? Back then when that, I mean, that's like 10 years, 20 years ago now. So these things had to have been sort of spiraling in people's heads for a while. What makes me a little, I don't know. What feels a little weird is the timing. Right? What feels a little weird is the timing. I'm glad it happened. I'm 100% on board. I'm 100% on board with every country who's came out and said, hey, store more food, do more stuff. You know what I mean? This is the really real world. What movie is that from? If anyone in chat knows what movie, this is the really real world, man. There ain't no coming back. If anybody knows that, I will be blown away. But anyway, so that's the deal, right? The deal is eventually it came down the pike, and then eventually somebody approved it, and then Pete decided, I'm going to announce it to the American people. I'm going to announce it to the American people the week before the midterms. Why? That's weird, right? We're going into the holiday shopping season. Is that why? Why? You know what I mean? To me, it feels like when there are threats, big and ominous threats, people vote Republican. Don't you think? Big and ominous, not climate change, right? Climate change. But when there are legitimate, ominous threats, people go, safety, security. Yeah, we need safety, security. I mean, you could largely put that on why Donald Trump got reelected. There was a big chunk of the United States, right? Ditch Doc says Waterworld. No, I don't know if I've ever even watched that movie. It was from The Crow. It was from the crow when, uh, the guy's getting taped to the vehicle that he will be, um, driven. Was he driven into the, into the Hudson or whatever? Anyway, the timing is weird. The timing to me feels like let's remind the American people that this shit is real, that there are concerns to be had. I'm not saying it's a bad strategic move. I'm just saying, is it, I'm asking the question, is it part and part? It's, It's an important strategic move, period. But was the timing strategic to elections? And if the Republicans win because of it, I'm not going to be like poo poo for it or anything. But I don't know. It's just, you know. There has to be a reason. Right, because you can announce something like this internally. It'll get leaked and it'll still be made a big deal. But there was a moment when Pete Hegseth decided, like, I'm going to go out on a stage and announce this like a Trump rally. Ditchstock says, let's remind the West that something is going on. Yeah. I mean, like I said, I think that's part of it. There's no doubt about it. The move is smart. The move is smart. You couldn't find, I mean, anybody who would be opposed to it. Listen to Dave Jones' show on it because he has some great points from a military officer's perspective that I thought were interesting, if you haven't heard it. I think the show is called 72 Hours is Not Enough. Listen to that. It's on YouTube, too, actually. You better go watch Dave on YouTube before they find out who he is and what he's doing. If they ever find out he's affiliated with me, he's finished. You know what I mean? It's over. He'll be gone. All his hard work... into those videos and reports and images has disappeared. So that's part of it, right? But what else is the push? Why the push across the various European nations, Japan as well, for a higher standard of preparedness? The easy answer is Russia-China war, right? Russia-China war, something along those lines. Something big is coming. There's a piece of that, right? The European nations would be idiotic to not tell their people to prepare more because they just took on the responsibility of military again. After how many decades did they just realize, oh, Trump just told us we got to grow up? That's what happened. Trump told the European Union, hey, you guys have to grow up and build your militaries up and make ready to defend your own nation. Even if your nation's already fallen and infiltrated by the radical Muslim jihadis, you still got to defend yourself. You're going to sit here and badmouth Russia from across the bow and then look back to us like, yes, hey, we told them. Europe was like the little Italian friend. You know what I mean? Like the little crazy little friend you had growing up who would just always talk shit to people, people, groups of people. You know what I mean? But shut up, dude. What are you trying to do? That was Europe. They're like, no, no, my buddy's got my back. America's got my back. So, yeah, they're reviewing everything. You know what I mean? They're reviewing. They're looking at what's happening internally. UK, France, crazy unrest. They're like, people are going to be locked in their house for a while. That's going to happen. You know what I mean? They got to be able to stay put for a little while. They're not going to be able to run down the street for a bottle of Bordeaux and a baguette, you know what I mean, every other day if things get really chaotic. So to me, that new responsibility of government is part of that thing. You know what I mean? What I'm trying to get at is this is a confluence of things. And just understand that. I don't want you to not be afraid. Well, I don't want you to be really afraid, but I don't want you to be insane about it. I don't want you to be paralyzed by it. I don't want you to think that the end is imminent. We don't know. Nobody knows anything with AI. I don't care what anybody tells you. Nobody knows what's going on with AI. Unless the big conspiracy that AI is not even real is true. That would be kind of fun. But I don't think that's the case. What I do think is the case is it's like releasing... a million minnows into a pond and then telling a guy to go get them all. You know what I'm saying? That's what I feel like is happening right now with the internet and everything you use on the internet with AI. Everybody's making bots and telling them to go do shit. Everybody's making agents and having them go act on their behalf, do things, go do that for me, go in here and do that for me, go and do that for me. Man. You know, something's going to go wrong. We don't know how critical that'll be. It might be like, oh, we can't watch YouTube for a couple weeks. Rats. But some things are going to go wrong because of that. That's another piece of all this preparedness. You know, a lot of these guys, the reason I know it has something to do with AI and power in general is because a lot of these nations are saying, take cash out, which is crazy in this day and age, right? Cash? So... You know what that is. That means you ain't going to be able to use the ATM or the banking system, which just found AI agents in the banking system, logging in under people's credentials. Now, these were credentials given to the AIs. Hey, you're my little assistant. I need you to log in my bank and pay these people or these bills or transfer this money to this account. I'm fully automated with AI, man. It's amazing. Until you get hacked. And then there's a rogue AI agent inside of Wells Fargo running around. And who knows what people can do with that? I don't know. That's the problem right now is I don't know. You know what I mean? Ditch Doc says if he couldn't watch YouTube for a few weeks, his entire education system would be shut down. Yeah, yours in America is at large. You kidding me? I remember my kids when they were in elementary school. They'd be singing songs off of YouTube videos. Like learning songs, but teachers bring it up all the time. So understand this is a confluence of things, concerns, the whole thing. There are some very real concerns in terms of warfare. I don't think we're thinking of the right countries off the top of our head. I don't think China and Russia. America's decided to stop sending Patriot missiles to Ukraine. They made that decision. We can't send the Patriots. And I don't think that's to slap Zelensky's hand. I know Trump's tired of the war. We're all tired of the war. We're all tired of war at large. But I think that's because they're thinking, hey, we need these. How stupid will we look if we send them all to Zelensky and then we actually need them and we don't have them? So, you know, that's something to consider too. At the end of the day, the announcements, And this is the big takeaway, and this is what we'll end the show with. But at the end of the day, for me, for folks like me, for my friends, the hosts here at PBN, you guys, the PBN family, this is a dream come true, right? This moment is a dream come true. For two decades almost, we've lamented the fact that the government has no sense of preparedness whatsoever, right? FEMA, build a kit, make a plan. Okay. Okay. Do you remember the amazing nuclear war recommendations from New York City when Russia first invaded Ukraine? It was the catalyst for our book, Nuclear War Prepared, Not Scared. It literally was why we created that book. I don't even know where you can get that book now. Actually, if you sign up for the newsletter, you can get that book. It's in there for free. And it'll be free in the Preppers Black Friday catalog, too. I don't know, though. We might stick a dollar on that thing. Get it now while you can. You know what I mean? A dollar to the average person is almost, it almost doesn't matter. But if we started collecting $ 1 on those books between, and I shared it with Dave, it would make a difference. You know, we've sold, we've sold a lot. We haven't sold. We've given away probably close to 10,000 of those books free. You know what I mean? Last I checked, we was like 9,000. So, I'm sure Dave wouldn't mind a payday of $ 4, 500 right now, right? Nobody would. But we did it. We gave it away for free for a long time because New York came out and said, should there be a nuclear strike, go inside, sit down, and turn on the TV and stay put. That was their advice. When your government has nothing for you like that, you know what I mean? That's it. G-Z-D-Rev-ish numbers and letters. Do you suggest we apply for a ham radio license so we can still communicate? Listen, I talked about ham radio at the beginning of this. What I'd really recommend you do is join our radio comms group. Okay? We use PacLink radios, which do use cell towers for transmission. But when... Cell service is compromised to some degree. You'll still be able to get a ParkLink radio out. These ParkLink radios, you can get the G9, which also has Wi-Fi. So if you have a G9 that has Wi-Fi, then you can get Starlink, and you'll be able to use the Wi-Fi to transmit. You follow me? If you don't like ham radio, do not get a ham radio license. It's the most boring shit I've ever been a part of in my whole life. You know what I mean? It's... You won't do it. I mean, you'll have to have the willpower of Sisyphus to get that thing into you. The people who have success, they join the local ham radio groups. You know what I mean? And they do that stuff week after week. And that's how you get good at it. And then don't forget, the biggest problem is not you doing it. It's then, are you going to get your 67-year-old mother to do it so she knows how to contact you with the ham radio? You know what I mean? It doesn't work. I mean, it works. The technology works, but getting people to do it doesn't work. And that's the whole point. You know what I mean? If you can't do it easily on your end, and you're the prepper, and then you decide that you want to get your sister or your brother to do it in Oakland, California, are they going to do it? If they don't do it, it doesn't matter. You might as well buy a ham radio and just turn it on and scroll around the frequencies just to hear what people are saying, which is cool. You could do that. I have Baofeng radios for just that. You know what I mean? Well, US Ditch Doc says, and she has to have a license. We'll go with that. That's the right thing to say, right? GMRS for local is king. That is true. I use the G2 from Skycom PTT, and that guy has GMRS for just that reason, which, by the way, me and Common Sense Practical Prepper have got to get linked up via GMRS. All right, folks, I'm getting out of here. Listen, we're going to build the home fortress, okay? The fortress initiative is a beautiful thing. All of these countries taking preparedness steps, this is a beautiful thing. The people in these countries taking preparedness more seriously. This is, you understand? Like, this is what I get on here and do. This is the reason I get on here and do this day in and day out. That and I have bills to pay. And it's a way better profession than flipping saute pans, you know what I mean? But anyway, like, this is what we've wanted for so long. So don't let the anxiety of the situation and of the moment really wear you down. think that cooler heads will likely prevail in terms of warfare because who wants to go to war with the U.S. if they can help it, right? Europe's going to have its issues. We're going to have our issues internally. We should be prepared for all that. We have been preparing for all of that. I mean, last year, two years ago, what? We were talking about a massive internal ISIS attack and how to prepare for that. So it's not like we're sitting here like twiddling our thumbs, you know what I mean? But the general pop, the gen pop, it seems like is getting a rude awakening again. COVID, you know, Black Lives Matter, mostly peaceful protests, all that kind of stuff. You just got to keep shaking them. You know, they're like my youngest in the morning. I got to shake them about three or four times before he wakes up. They wake up and pass back out. So while they're up, we're going to try to keep their attention with the How to Build a Home Fortress podcast. initiative it'll be a seven eight week series sign up for the email newsletter if you're interested that is in the link of this show down below or you can just go direct chirp.me slash pbn there's also a ton of other resources at the chirp i mean amazing build your own emergency plan you can consult with me over there you can buy preps that i use over there already they're already waiting for you um the only thing that's not over there is my book which is not even in the camera right now The Ultimate Survival Toolkit.
