Listening to World Leaders and Prepping

PBM Family, welcome. What is it, Thursday? Welcome to a chilly... Autumn, Thursday. Richmond, Virginia going down to like, I'm almost into the 40s tonight. I kind of can't wait. I think I'm going to get my youngest to make a fire in the fireplace tonight. Yeah, why not? Why not? Right? 51 or something along those lines. Look at the beauty of the Richmond War Memorial. Wow. Wow. Flags are flying the skyline of richmond city i get to go a little deeper into the city these days because of my son's school my son's high school and uh yeah it's exquisite it's amazing it really blows my mind i often wonder like what could it be if we had anybody with a quarter of a mind running a city like richmond it could be one of the most well i don't know right You almost don't want things to be too good because then people find out about them. My whole life has been a succession of that. Hey, I found about this cool thing. And I tell people about it and all of a sudden it's overrun. That's why my father, when we used to go fishing, my father played it so cool. We'd go fishing. We'd run into somebody on the creek or we'd run into somebody on the way out. And, uh, it didn't matter what happened, right? We could have caught the biggest trout in the whole stream. Um, My dad would always tell him, oh, we got a couple. Nothing, nothing major, right? That guy would walk, maybe no intentions of fishing whatsoever, right? Walk by. I'd be all young and thrilled. I'd want to talk. I got four rainbows and two brown trout today. It was awesome. I did it on the fly rod. My dad, he would, yeah, we got a couple. Keep walking. He knew, right? He knew. If you talk about a good thing too much, it gets overrun. That's just how it works in life. You know. What's it? Carrying capacity? Isn't that what it is? Hunter's language? Carrying capacity, man. My neighborhood has reached carrying capacity for deer. I can tell you that much. Oh, my goodness. We got to eat some venison. So, I thought I'd get on today on an audio podcast. How lovely it is to audio podcast, guys. I mean... You know, I don't want to go down the same rabbit hole I always go down with. I hate video, you know. It's not that I hate video. I just love this. I just love just talking, right? I love being a voice above all, right? A voice rather than an image, rather than motion, rather than, you know, a wink and a nod and all that. I just like to be a voice. It's what I like to do. I really do. I can't wait until... video is completely adulterated by AI and nobody wants to listen to it anymore. But then I guess the same thing will happen to audio. And then we'll have no choice but to tour as a podcast network so you can see us in person to verify it's actually us and not some artificial intelligent bot that's creating episodes for us. I kind of want to talk about what's going on in the UN. What's going on with the... You know, the big world leaders meeting and yapping. They're speaking their piece on the world. It's... You know, there's something about them, right? You listen to the speeches, and a lot of them, to be honest with you, sound canned. They're like canned, kind of boring speeches. Paraguay's was in a nightmare. The Iranian leadership coming out and talking about how Americans have killed hundreds of innocents was kind of funny. Not funny, but it was just so tone-deaf. It was so tone-deaf that as a leader you could come out and say, like, the Americans are bombing us and they're killing women and children and we don't know what to do about it and it's terrible. Knowing that a year ago or whatever it was, not even, you had killed tens of thousands of your own people who dared speak up against your radical Islamic insanity. So that's a funny one. That's a funny one to witness. The comments on the videos are terrifying. They're morbidly terrifying. You know, like when you have the president or whatever he is of Iran sitting there talking about nonsense like that. And the comments from YouTube are, it's good to finally hear some truth about the war. Oh, my God. I didn't listen to Macron. I saw him up there. I listened to the Denmark fellow talk about what's going on there, saw Trump meet with the Middle Eastern group. I can't listen to them all, you know what I mean? They're insanely boring, but it gives you sort of a broad picture of what's going on in the world and what it all means, right? What it all means to you, the average person, the average prepper. I still think that domestic and local concerns are really 95, if not 99% of the things that you ought to worry about as a prepper. You know, domestic and local threats. Local threats being the lion's share. I think that is sort of the threat analysis of it all, right? There is a strategic and regional unbelievable undertaking by the president, you know. I had this feeling. It was one of the greatest feelings I've had in a very long time. But I had this feeling when Donald Trump won the election. And he started signing executive orders and fixing the border. I just remember driving in the truck with my son. And knowing that his life was immediately going to be better. Right? I mean, seriously, like... seriously looking at my kids and going, their lives are going to be better now. Like in long term. And this was before sort of the, the whole re-imagination of, uh, of oil and the re-imagination of security in the Western hemisphere. Like it's the moves that have been made and, and, you know, they'll take good leadership to, um, They'll take good leadership to stay in place beyond Trump, but the idea's been built, this whole situation's been laid out, you know what I mean? And it's just, the blueprint is there now, and no one's ever done anything like this. I just want you to understand that. For those of you who love or hate Donald Trump, like, the elimination of eastern influence from the western hemisphere the removal of China from Panama the removal of the Venezuelan president and basically taking that over largely at least from an influential standpoint and knowing that alright we now again have access through the Panama Canal to both major oceans we now have access to Venezuelan oil and more importantly China and Russia do not And really the last holdout is Canada up there. I mean, who would have thought Greenland and Denmark, for all the yipping and yiping that happened when we brought that up, would have signed on to security. Now all of this, look, all of this movement, I don't think is for nothing. I don't think is for naught. I do think Donald Trump wants the world to be, the North American hemisphere in particular, to be as safe as possible. That's why he hates Canada so much right now, because Canada's doing the bidding of China. Canada is being wooed by the Chinese, which is unbelievable and hilarious. By the way, did you see the flyover? It wasn't quite as impressive as the Putin flyover, but Trump had a... I don't know what it was. It almost looked like an A-10, but I don't think it was. Fly over Xi's head as he came to the United States, if you remember. Another wonderful moment. I mean, they should play this on CNN once a day to fit the narrative, right? Or not to fit the narrative, but to break the narrative, which is Donald Trump bad, everything he does bad. They hated Russia and hated Russia so much. It was unbelievable. There's no reason that people from the mainstream media shouldn't be applauding that day that Putin came to town and we flew B-1 bombers over his head. I mean, come on, right? That's a spectacle. That's a show of force and power. That's letting the world, one of the great superpowers of the world, know, hey, things have changed, my friend. You know what I mean? Joe Biden is retired. with his ice cream. It's over. I think all of this is being done to avoid war. I really do. I think all of this is being done to avoid war, not to prepare for war. I hear a lot of commentators talk about Trump's preparing for world war by positioning all this and that and the other thing. I don't think that's the case, you know. I don't think anybody's in... I don't think the world is in a position for war. I really don't. I don't think Russia's anywhere in position for war. And I don't think that... I just don't see it, man. You know, it doesn't seem like a thing to me. Everybody keeps saying that we're low on munitions, right? And I like that idea that we're low on munitions only because I like the idea of... considering which country would like to test the theory you know what I mean which America's incredibly low on munitions okay well which nation would like to see exactly how low on munitions the United States military is well you know I mean who would like to take the brunt of those limited munitions now we're taking immense control over oil across the world and it's hard to imagine anyone deciding now's the time to launch an offensive on the United States or Europe or anything you know I think Putin, for all his bluster, has his hands full with Ukraine. That could spill over and get crazy because of Poland right there. That could get nuts. But then again, can Russia deal with, without nuclear weapons anyway, can Russia deal with Poland entering the fray in this war? There's no way. They can barely handle what's happening with the Ukrainians right now. They've created drone guerrillas everywhere. You know what I mean? That are just, they're going to do what they want. I mean, Zelensky was, even said he was going to make it a really rough winter for the Russians. So, and this, you know, this is vengeance. This is like, we've been freezing our asses off for years in the winter thanks to Russia. We're going to return the favor. So boil it all down. What does it mean to you guys, you know? Everything, I don't know how else to say it more succinctly, but everything goes back to like, what's the property? What is your property? You know what I mean? And I don't mean acreage. I mean capability. What is the property that you have? What are you capable of getting your hands on? What are you capable of producing? What skills do you have? That would allow you to feed yourself... Warm yourself... And your family if need be... Right? I mean it really... We really are winding things back... To the basics of survival... And just... Not only... It's not about understanding... The basics of survival... Food, water, shelter... Right? It's owning those things... And in my... You know... Dave Jones... Myself... Many preppers... Operate this way... It's about having tears... It's many operating tears... On food. So it's not just. I bought my six months worth of food. From some food storage company. No it's about having that. But it's also about growing food. And it's not just about growing food. It's about relationships with local farmers. It's about maybe getting deliveries from local farmers. To the household. Or knowing where the local farmers markets are. Where you can go and get food from other sources. Should things go wrong. It's the two is one, one is none mentality built into the way you heat your home, power your home, feed your family, protect your family, and so on and so forth, guys. In short, it is a slow sort of stepping off of the grid and the system at large, right? And a very personal sort of connection to it all, right? What things do you not want to give up? But if you don't give it up, then you better have a contingency for when it gives up on you. You know, hot water is a great example. Everybody loves a nice hot shower after a long day or a cold day or whatever it is. So, you know, those are things that are part of a system, right? You need a power system. You need a water system, something along those lines to make that happen in the way that we're used to having it happen, right? Nice, long, hot shower. Things a king couldn't buy, right? There's a phrase about that. I don't know what it is. It's fine to love those things and to be on grid. I'm on grid. I'm not living some off-grid lifestyle on 40 acres producing all of our own food, right? Again, this is your life. You know what I mean? Do it the way you want to do it. But I would just say have the plans, have the hardware, have the SHTF infrastructure in order to survive off grid because it just seems like whether it's a storm, whether it's– one of the things that I think about all the time lately in terms of technology at large is like how long before– How long before these just roving AI bots that are all throughout the internet just decide they're going to go... I mean, it just seems like the internet itself is going to be ravaged, right? Doesn't it seem that way? It seems to me like we're on a limited time frame with the internet. Because there are rogue AI agents that are out there. They're going... I mean... We don't know what they're going to do, largely. I don't think the companies that created them know what they're going to do. But more people are going to create more bots and more bots and more bots and more bots. AI-powered bots that might get smarter, might get crazier, might decide to shut down Verizon today, might decide to shut down this, shut down that. And then we find ourselves in this situation where like, okay, well, that's that. I mean, what would your life look like if you woke up and half the internet didn't work? But then the next day it did work. But then the next day half of it didn't work again. Right? It's sort of the rolling internet blackouts, right? And then, you know, do these AI rogues, this sort of resistance, this AI resistance, like, get into other systems and become a true villain, right? And what could be better for AI security teams... and a sort of artificial intelligent inflated military than this rogue digital warfare that's happening online and we have to create more bills and hire more and increase the military budget and more spend on IT and more data centers because we have to fight these crazy rogue AI bots that have infiltrated our digital way of life. You know what it sounds like? It sounds exactly like people. It sounds exactly like people, right? We have an abundance of this animal, so we're going to put a predator in there to go after it. But then the predator is going to go crazy, so we're going to have to put a bigger predator to go after that predator. And we're going to try to manage this natural system with the brilliance of our human minds and we wreck. And I think we're in for a wreck, folks. That's what I think. So I guess we better take PBN on the road. sooner rather than later, huh? I don't know how long podcasting and things are going to be. But then again, there's also that concept of like building your own internet, building your own sort of internet infrastructure. This is a thing people are doing already. And it may be the direction we go. All right, folks, a lot to chew on. The world is talking. The world is changing. You are preparing. And I appreciate you for that. You're proving to the world that this is something that we need to do, right? And you're also in the long run going to prove to the world and probably have already since 2020 really the sort of the efficacy of really freaking having control of your life and how dependence, particularly on the digital world, is what is it?
