Folks, 20th show. It's not November, September 20th. NPM 20. 10 more left. It's hard to believe, actually. It's kind of hard to believe. We have, well, in the world of EMP protection, right? You probably have your ideas about things like little sachets and dry bags and packets and this one and that one. This brand does a little thing for the laptop and that one does a little thing for the phone. And you know what I mean? We've all been there. We've all done those kinds of things and bought those kinds of things. I met Troy from Faraday Containers a couple years ago now. And I realized that he was playing a different game On a couple levels when it came to EMP protection. Number one was the size game, right? Was the ability to finally protect some things of worth, right? Outside of a cell phone, outside of some radios. In all transparency, I keep all my radios in an EMP-proof dry bag, just, you know, in all transparency. They have their use, right? But when I met Troy, the first thing that came to mind was the Homestead Tractor, right? And the value of the homestead tractor and how much harder life would get if you were on a lot of acreage with a dead tractor per EMP. So that's when I started thinking, hmm, these things got some merit. Now, the other thing that they do better than anyone is they go the distance in terms of EMP protection. And I'll let Troy explain that because he could do a much better job than I can. But without further ado, folks, FaradayContainers.com. You can go check out their incredible shipping containers that are completely EMP-proof. Tonight we have Troy with us. I wasn't even going to try that last name, Troy. Bruzowitz. Bruzowitz, okay. I think I was pretty close. I'd have been pretty close. So Faraday Containers in its what? What year are you guys in now in business? We were organized in January of 24. So we're going on three years here this January. Going on three, man. That's a beautiful thing. That's a beautiful thing. Yeah. Heard about them for a long time talking to you. Then Prepper Camp 2025, you guys brought them. Well, you brought the work boxes and you had those. I got to see the copper beryllium gaskets. Is that what I got to see? Yep. Yeah. What's the value in that, man? That's a collection of words that I feel like I'll never hear except from Troy. Yeah, you're probably not going to find that in discussion much. Right. Talking about Faraday containers. But that speaks to your guy's quality. But what are those things? So the beryllium makes the– it's a gasket that helps to seal any larger penetrations like doors or windows in. the beryllium is a springiness that's then coated with copper, which gives it the, you know, electrical properties, conductive properties and the springiness, you know, it just is the part of, of making the seal and keeping that, that door sealed. So it's a good, you know, they do need some maintenance, but they're definitely longer term. That's what the military and the government uses. Yeah. I mean, So I guess you should tell the audience sort of what the product line is, top to bottom, so they know what it is Troy can do for them in terms of EMP protection. Yeah. When I started this company, I wanted to make sure that I had. Products that were affordable by the consumers and private consumers and not just corporations and government agencies. Something affordable, yeah. Trying to keep it affordable, correct. You know, the Faraday bags, especially the foil ones, you take them outside and look through them, you'll see pinholes all the way around the seam. I took a brand new one, put my phone in it, called straight through to it, it rang the bell. So watch those bags. You know, the black better made fabric ones are probably better. Some of them are for sure, but... We make three foot, four foot and five foot job site boxes, basically a metal enclosure. It's on wheels. That would be for your, your garage. And, and really the, you know, I didn't expect the three foot job site. They're actually 32 inches. Didn't expect them to be as popular as they are, but you know, for people that live in the city and apartment thing fits nicely into an apartment, you can put quite a bit of stuff in there. And you've got people that are needing to protect, whether it's laser sights or small electronics. Sure, yeah. You've got people that are wanting to protect bigger. We've got pretty much for whatever the customer is looking to protect, and that's what we wanted to do. We wanted to design around what people actually want to protect, which brings us then to the full-size shipping container versions. We do 10-foot, 20- and 40-foot shipping containers. We're building out a 10-footer right now. Um, but the big thing about our, our, our Faraday enclosures is we're the only ones out there that have a full width door that you can drive a vehicle or like you said, a tractor into. Yeah, that's the key, right? Right. You know, even, uh, large racks and, and, uh, systems that are too big to build, uh, to bring in through a personnel door. You know, we've got a, a proprietary door sealing system with a triple seal, um, door on it that is proprietary to us and um you know without that door you're basically just going to have a a door like you'd walk into into your house um so that that's really set us. Apart yeah that's the key right you can only get so much in there if you don't have that setup. Right so we've you know we do the we do the 20 and 40 footers for solar farms and and uh people doing uh data um data processing, solar farms, as well as crypto miners. Oh, that makes a lot of sense. I hear NVIDIA is going to start paying people to put little mini data centers outside their house. You might want to reach out to them. Yeah, definitely. They want to put all that money outside of somebody's house just to let it get whacked by a lightning bolt or something. Right, right. Or, you know, you've got to protect that information as well. Some of that information is sensitive. We've had countless now government agencies reaching out to us and government contractors. And more than I could even mention. First one was Lockheed Martin. Wow, that's a good day in business. Lockheed reaches out to you. So we've got our job site boxes. We've got the shipping containers. I've got, actually, we're taking the door system that I've created and we're making that a package system as well for other installers, you know, or people that want to build their own. We can sell them the door system as a package deal. The shipping containers, you know, we try to keep them affordable for the public. as a storage unit, but then there's people that want to put HVAC or communications, fiber optics, you know, all the different power lines coming in with solar and alternative energy and battery, you know, battery management systems. We've, we've been able to cover all those penetrations and feed throughs. We basically find out what the person is looking for, what the client's looking for, and then build their container around that. So, you know, Our base model, you know, we have our base prices and then based on what the client is looking for, it's going to determine, you know, the total price on that. Sure. So what you guys see up here on the screen is the Faraday Containers website. You got the workbox on the left. I think that's a five foot. Is that right? Four foot, five foot? That's a five footer, yeah. That's the five footer. And as reference, for those of you who know the PBN family well enough, Jordan will fit in one of those. So Jordan the Phoenix can get inside one of those. And on the right there, you have the shipping container. And let's see if I can find an image of the door for everybody. Oh, there you go. There's the whole worksite. box set up. Oh, and there's your swinging door right there. Nice. Yeah, I like the new site. It looks good. It's always a work in progress. Of course, right? Things are changing up quite a bit. So we've got a lot of growth and a lot of improvements and we're already further along than we expected to be as far as, like I said, with all the government contracts. But like I said, my goal is to always have available. Products that are going to be cheap enough for the public. Yeah, we appreciate that. Definitely. Because there's not, as of yet anyway, anything remote. Anything remotely close to competing with that job site box, man, that thing is, that's ready for war. So most people, right, they look at a metal shipping container, they're probably thinking, don't I have a Faraday cage here already? Yeah, a lot of people think that it's a big metal box already, but the floor is actually plywood. So, you know, we've gone through different stages of how to seal that floor. We are now we're now sealing them. So in a way that we don't have to remove that OEM floor out of there, which is a large part of the rigidity of that container, as well as the installers and contractors that are installing things inside that container, like battery, you know, inverters and batteries, they really want to mount to the floor. Well, when you pull that 18 ply plywood out of there, um, You can't really mount, you can't penetrate through the Faraday protection, the Faraday skin, the shield. So we've moved that shield now. We leave the floor in place and we put the sheet metal at the bottom, very bottom of the container. So we flip that container over and weld things on now from the underside, which has made a huge improvement in not only rigidity, but the ability to mount and do whatever you need to inside there. Now you talk about one of the, well, probably the biggest sticking point, right? As you can imagine, when I first talked to you, Troy, I was talking to a lot of people who do doing a lot of EMP things, right? That's like the nature of my business when it comes to sponsors and companies and people to interview. You were the only guy, and still to this day, you're the only guy who's ever talked to me about 70, 90, and 102. 10 decibels. Tell us about how you test these things so that we're not the ones testing them because a lot of times, like you mentioned at the beginning of the show, you get a Faraday product and you feel like, I wonder if anybody tested this or if me sticking my phone in here is the test. And they're not cheap. Those things aren't cheap. So how do you guys test. We have an EMP engineer that has come. He's got over 50 grand in equipment. He flies out to where we need them. And I've got videos and footage of testing one of these containers. And we were getting up over 100 decibels of attenuation, which if you want to talk in terms of EMP and decibels and attenuation and protection. So 60 decibels is where you want to be for a minimally protected container. Faraday enclosure. Military looks to go to 110 or above. So I'll just give you some numbers here. 60 decibels is one one millionth. So let's say there's a million packets of energy coming down in an EMP. Only one of those is going to get through at 60 decibels. At 80 decibels, it's 100 times more than that. So it's one one hundred millionth of the energy getting through. And that's at 80 decibels. We're typically trying to go between 70 and 110. We're seeing 100 quite a bit. That's one ten billionth of the energy that is coming, you know, at the container. One ten billionth of the energy is being blocked. One ten billionth is getting through, I'm sorry. Getting through, correct. So if there's 10 billion volts coming at you, you're going to get one volt out of that. That's wild. I mean, you don't necessarily talk about it in terms of volts, but EMP energy. It's a good way for an average person to get it, though. Right. 120 decibels is one one trillionth. So those are, you know, when you're talking 80 to 100 decibels of attenuation, that's definitely stopping the vast majority of everything. Yeah, that makes the whole surge. kind of concept null and void right right you. Got to understand too that there's a frequency range there so at a at one let's say 100 megahertz you're going to have a different attenuation than you do at say a gigahertz or five gigahertz in an emp you're typically looking at between 100 megahertz and one gigahertz is the energy that comes out of an emp So we typically don't bother testing above one gigahertz because. It can't put out that kind of energy out of an EMP. So again, it's a, it's a range of decibel attenuation that's relating to a range of frequencies being tested. It's difficult to say, well, what is the decibel? You know, what is the level of shielding there? You have to talk about it in terms of frequency and, and ranges. Well, I think what's important is the guy making them knows and the guy making them is, you know, well, well enough versed in this thing that it's, it's an important piece of the puzzle because as I mentioned, I don't want to hear, you know, I'm not going to mention brand names, but I've talked to a lot of marketing guys from companies that sell EMP stuff. And I've talked to some owners and I've even interviewed some owners of EMP companies or EMP protection companies. And like I said, copper beryllium and decibel attenuation. Never heard that stuff till I talked to you on a phone call that was not being recorded and not, you know, you weren't there to impress anybody or to sell anything. So that's really why I threw my hat in with you guys. Cause I was like, this guy knows what he's doing with this stuff and he's dedicated to it, you know? So, so if somebody sees one of these things, And they're like, man, I need that five-foot workbox for my solar generator, solar panels, radio comms, night vision goggles, and so forth. What's the best way to get a hold of Faraday containers? Get an order placed? Just contact me through the contact on the website. Email me, call me, call us. the best thing I can do is to find out what you're looking to protect. And then I can set you up, let you know what you're probably looking for. You know, if you've, there's a lot of questions on what do I even put in there? What, why would I need to protect my electronics if there's no more grid? Well, one of the things you really want to consider is protecting a solar generator, a few solar panels, a big, uh, lithium, you know, solar, uh, battery. Yeah. And then you can recharge all of your stuff, whatever you put in there, you now have the power for it. You do need to, you're going to save a significant amount of stuff electronically. Then you definitely want to have a, a couple of different sizes of solar generators, at least, you know, one good size one. Yeah. We live in a digital world. I mean, this should be a, Anybody who's out there not practiced that thinks they're going to go from digital play land to off-grid in the snap of a finger without issue, you're not thinking clearly. Yeah. Some thought put into it and you're going to start having a whole lot of other thoughts that don't occur if you're just putting 10 minutes into it. Oh, right. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. So I got the contact form up here, folks. If you're going to fill out the contact form or use the phone number to call them, it sounds like the best thing to do is leave a message. I got laptops and radios and that kind of stuff that I want to keep safe. How do I do it? What's the best tool for the job? And Troy and his crew will get back to you. How about if we got somebody who's like, They want to do something that's like multiple containers. Just fill that in there also. Something big and something innovative. The best thing is it's more of a consultation at first. People will have a lot of different ideas that probably are bigger than they need to be or we can get them protected. Multiple, we can have a, we offer quantity discounts. We're looking at companies that are buying multiple units for long term you know so yeah you have a discount or or you know if you i just sold two boxes to a guy in florida uh two um job site boxes two different sizes i gave him a discount on that um you know. So the so the key guys is to get in contact with faraday containers that's the key yeah getting if you have real concerns you have real things you want to get protected from EMP Radio. out, start a conversation, talk about what you need, and that's how you get involved. Sound about right? Sounds perfectly right. You got anything on the drawing board, Troy, or you guys sticking with this core inventory? I don't really know what else you could do, right? I mean, Uh, yeah, we've got some stuff that we're working on. We're doing a, uh, we're doing an all in one fully contained, uh, deployable. Box as well. That's going to be basically a. A disaster power box that first responders can connect to drop it off in a, say a hurricane area. Um, but I mean, we're not, we're, you know, there's other companies out there doing that. We're, We're doing ours a little differently, and we're Faraday protecting it. Like I said, we've got a lot of interest coming in. That's great news, man. I am glad to hear it. Well, folks, Troy Bruzowitz, FaradayContainers.com. He's been with the network. You've heard his, if you listen to PBN, if you're new to NPM, to this National Preparedness Month series, you may not have heard him before, but if you listen to PBN, then you've heard us. talk about Faraday containers in the past and you'll hear us talk about Faraday containers in the future so that's great news Troy we're glad to see you guys uh settled in and you know catching the eyes of the most devious of them all up there on Capitol Hill they got big big deep pockets at the very least right so that's a good thing I appreciate you joining us tonight man on a Sunday night I know it's a little bit of a slog at the end of the week but thanks for having me yeah no problem All right, folks. Episode 20. I'll see you guys tomorrow. I have no idea who's on tomorrow, to be quite honest with you. I don't have the schedule in front of me. We may be doing a comms check recap tomorrow. Not sure. But I will be here. All right. 9 a.m. Eastern Standard Time tomorrow. Talk to you soon, folks. Thanks for everything, Troy. And I'll talk to you soon, too, man. When you're off the grid. or working in real winter conditions, the basics matter more than anything. Heat Force Pro was designed around a simple idea. One product doing more than one job.
