[00:00:00] You are listening here to PBM.

[00:00:07] Your path back is to be ready here.

[00:00:30] The perennials are playing tricks.

[00:00:34] PBM family, it's Monday, new week.

[00:00:37] What a day it's going to be today.

[00:00:40] We have Arthur Bradley on Prepper, prolific Prepper fiction author.

[00:00:46] We're going to talk EMP with him.

[00:00:49] That's something of his bag of tricks.

[00:00:52] He's got a line of really cool EMP protection products too.

[00:00:56] Less EMP cloth based, more sort of like EMP shield stuff.

[00:01:03] We're going to have him on Prepper's live tonight, talk EMP, fitting time.

[00:01:09] The perennials are popping up and they're doing their thing.

[00:01:13] One of the things that people who raise perennial edible food,

[00:01:17] which you got to raise perennial edible food.

[00:01:22] You come to realize that perennial edibles play tricks on you.

[00:01:28] This is what they like to do, they like to play tricks on you.

[00:01:31] They'll pop up in places you weren't expecting them.

[00:01:35] Our Jerusalem artichoke bed exploded this year.

[00:01:40] That's going to be great.

[00:01:42] I was out by the strawberries today, talking to my wife on the phone.

[00:01:47] I noticed that even the strawberries have decided to grow outside of their little area that we put them in.

[00:01:55] I've told you this before, the perennials are going to take over my yard.

[00:02:03] I'm going to step out of the way.

[00:02:06] I'm going to get out of their way.

[00:02:08] I'm not that dumb.

[00:02:13] In other words, if the strawberries continue to grow out of their bed

[00:02:18] and take over the whole left side of my fenced-in garden area,

[00:02:22] then we have a lot of strawberries.

[00:02:24] Less garden area for that kind of annual type stuff.

[00:02:31] Staring down at those little white flowers, looking at the strawberry that's starting to form at the center,

[00:02:39] I started to think to myself, if the world, if you had no phone, if you had no internet,

[00:02:46] if you had no television, if you had no radio, how happy would you be?

[00:02:52] Honestly, you wake up, you do your morning routine, whatever it is, whatever.

[00:03:04] For me, I walk out back and go see what's happening in the garden.

[00:03:10] The bush beans popped today, which is always a good feeling.

[00:03:14] I'm doing them in pots this year.

[00:03:16] I did them in pots years ago. They were so good.

[00:03:19] They did so good.

[00:03:21] We're doing them in pots again. We'll do pole too, but I like the bush beans. They're pretty prolific.

[00:03:26] I'm looking around at all this stuff.

[00:03:29] The world is greening, coming to life, and I'm thinking to myself the only reason I'm stressed out right now

[00:03:36] is because of news from halfway around the world.

[00:03:40] If I was ignorant to it, then I'd just be joyous.

[00:03:47] I'd just be joyous.

[00:03:50] Now, you know, it's true ignorance is bliss, but ignorance can get you killed too.

[00:03:55] So the reality is until the Luddite cult destroys the power grids all over the world

[00:04:04] and forces us back into only tribal and regional conflict with spears,

[00:04:10] this is the world in which we must live, folks.

[00:04:18] I guess what I'm getting at is don't miss the beauty in the run-up to World War III.

[00:04:25] Chances are you've done a lot of work, and now's one of those times where you can say,

[00:04:30] look at it all. Look at it all coming to life.

[00:04:33] Look at the seedlings sprouting. Look at the perennials coming back.

[00:04:37] Look at the trees blooming, right?

[00:04:39] Look at all this stuff. Look at the greenhouse.

[00:04:41] Look at the solar panel. Look at whatever it is that you've done.

[00:04:45] Look at the chickens clucking. Actually, the chickens are angry at me right now.

[00:04:49] I haven't let them out yet this morning.

[00:04:51] They're like, what's going on here?

[00:04:54] But just be aware of it all, you know? Be aware of it all.

[00:05:00] Because it may not be nice like this all the time.

[00:05:02] You might not be wanting to walk outside in the near future. Who knows?

[00:05:07] I spent a significant amount of time this morning working on the new 100 essential books for Surviving Doomsday.

[00:05:19] I talked about it briefly, but it's going to be an e-book.

[00:05:23] I'll just tell you exactly what it's going to be.

[00:05:27] It's going to be an e-book with hopefully 100 books that I think every prepper should have.

[00:05:38] I'm getting some recommendations from elsewhere as well.

[00:05:43] It's going to be an e-book that unlike the Nuclear War Prepared Not Scared,

[00:05:48] this is going to be an e-book designed to enlighten those who get it, but also gather email addresses to help build the network.

[00:05:58] Truth, honesty. Every book will be affiliate linked so it will make a little money for us as well.

[00:06:05] So it's part and parcel education and enlightenment and part and parcel marketing and money making.

[00:06:13] I'll tell you that why, because I've always been transparent with you and I want you to understand my motivations.

[00:06:21] I've always been very clear about my motivations here at PBA.

[00:06:26] I bought this thing not because I thought it would be my ticket to becoming a millionaire,

[00:06:36] but largely because I wanted my friends' shows to go on and my own show to go on.

[00:06:43] I knew that being a freelance writer was one of the only people capable of doing what I've done with the network.

[00:06:53] That was the reality of it, you know?

[00:06:59] We've since made it into a profitable podcast network.

[00:07:05] And a lot of that, like I said, I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that you guys trust me and you trust me because the fact that when I do a thing, I'll tell you why I'm doing it.

[00:07:15] You know? I'll tell you why I'm doing it and what the overall motivations are.

[00:07:20] I'm not trying to pull the wool. I'm not saying I'm creating this book from my heart of hearts to give unto you.

[00:07:27] Yeah, I mean that's part of it.

[00:07:30] I've got a lot of great books. I want to share them with you, you know?

[00:07:33] There's a lot of great books out there written by amazing people that you should have on your bookshelf in case we are in an off-grid situation.

[00:07:42] You know, but business is business, baby.

[00:07:47] So now that we got that out of the way, I'm about a day or two.

[00:07:55] We're going to talk about terrible news, don't worry, but let's talk about some cool stuff.

[00:07:59] Can we talk about some cool stuff? I've given you a great guest tonight, perennial updates, all kinds of fun stuff.

[00:08:07] We'll get to the Russian hypersonic missiles, don't worry.

[00:08:13] But first what I'd like to talk about is the world of ready because I think I'm about five days out.

[00:08:21] I think by the weekend, best case scenario, the world of ready could be on bookshelves digitally.

[00:08:31] Which is pretty cool.

[00:08:33] Which is our first endeavor into children's books geared towards preparedness and I promise you, you've never seen anything like it.

[00:08:44] Okay, there's nothing out there like it and it's going to be great.

[00:08:52] It's going to be absolutely great. The characters are astounding.

[00:08:56] The environments, the members, the PBN members have seen the environments.

[00:09:01] I've shared some artwork on the back end with the members.

[00:09:06] I just really got lucky and met a really great illustrator and she's fallen in love with the project.

[00:09:14] Not only has she fallen in love with the project, but she gets it. She gets the vision.

[00:09:19] She understands the fantastic world, the fantastic other dimension world known as the world of ready.

[00:09:28] It's crazy inhabitants who are there to teach kids all about preparedness.

[00:09:36] This is essential. This is an essential mission.

[00:09:41] Again, it's also business but understand and you've got to understand it has to be business because I'm not rich.

[00:09:49] Things have to make money or they go away.

[00:09:52] If I were a billionaire, whatever, then I'll do all kinds of cool charity stuff for the betterment of society.

[00:10:00] But I can't better society if I can't pay mortgage.

[00:10:05] I can't better society from the refrigerator box out back of a manufacturing center where I live with my family now

[00:10:15] because I was so charitable with my time and my effort.

[00:10:20] You guys know the dealer but he's got work and make money.

[00:10:24] But you're going to get to meet Uda.

[00:10:26] You're going to get to meet Uda.

[00:10:28] You're going to get to meet Kit in this book.

[00:10:32] You're going to get to meet these characters and see what they do.

[00:10:35] And you're going to get to meet the children who are quite frankly terrified about the approaching wildfires that they overhear their parents talking about one night.

[00:10:45] And to put that anxiety at rest, Uda gives them something to do.

[00:10:51] Imagine that action.

[00:10:53] The anxiety, the first time I ever really heard about Uda, the Uda loop which is what his name is derived from

[00:11:03] or the first time I ever heard about it and it really stuck was from Pastor Jill Fox over at Viking Preparedness.

[00:11:09] And I like the concept.

[00:11:12] I've talked to you guys about the concept before.

[00:11:14] Observe, orient, decide, act.

[00:11:17] You can look at the whole of America and it's only going to get worse.

[00:11:22] You can look at anxiety.

[00:11:23] You can look at depression in this country.

[00:11:25] You can look at the effect that so many choices have on our society.

[00:11:32] You can look at the effect that all the freedoms fundamentally have on a people, all the choices, all the voyeuristic hours spent looking at other people's lives and other people's decisions and other people's options.

[00:11:47] And what that has done.

[00:11:50] And now with the chaos in the world, what that has done is we are trapped in the first two stages of the Uda loop.

[00:12:00] Observe, orient, decide, act.

[00:12:04] Right?

[00:12:05] For the most part when it comes to relationships, when it comes to career, when it comes to education, when it comes to having kids.

[00:12:13] Most people man seem to be stuck in the observe and orient, observe and orient, observe, orient, observe, orient, observe, orient.

[00:12:21] When you are scrolling through your phone, that's what you're doing.

[00:12:26] You're observing culture and trying to orient on what makes sense for you to make a decision.

[00:12:34] Right?

[00:12:35] You watch people man, they observe, orient, observe, orient, they so rarely decide.

[00:12:41] And then when they decide they so rarely act, right?

[00:12:45] So we're stuck.

[00:12:47] We're stuck in observing orient.

[00:12:49] That's why Uda made so much sense to me as a character.

[00:12:54] Because observe, orient, decide, act.

[00:12:57] It's not only helps.

[00:13:01] I'm sorry it not only works but it's also what helps.

[00:13:04] It's what helps you through the anxiety of a moment like this.

[00:13:07] Right?

[00:13:13] Let's get into one threat, one solution.

[00:13:15] One way.

[00:13:32] I met another wonderful website on the internet.

[00:13:35] Just another wonderful website on the internet.

[00:13:38] You know years ago I said I'm not putting any ads on my websites.

[00:13:44] You know I don't care what the sponsors want.

[00:13:47] I don't care.

[00:13:48] We're not going to have Google ads because Google hates us anyway.

[00:13:51] I'm not going to put ads on my website.

[00:13:53] I cannot tell.

[00:13:54] I don't know you know how I would feel.

[00:13:57] I don't think if I had an extra $30,000 in the bank from Google AdWords or something like that.

[00:14:04] Not that we would have even made that much money but let's just say right that I had that extra money.

[00:14:10] I still think I would feel shitty because when I go on a website like the-express.com

[00:14:17] just to read a story about Russia and there's videos and ads on both sides

[00:14:23] and breaking news at the bottom and notifications at the bottom right

[00:14:27] and then ads built into the article and it's like embarrassing you know.

[00:14:36] Russia moves supersonic missile warship to Middle East after Iran attack on Israel.

[00:14:41] This I hadn't heard a lot about.

[00:14:43] I don't know if you did right.

[00:14:46] Russia's called for restraint from both Iran and Israel as a wider war in the Middle East becomes a real possibility.

[00:14:52] So I ran- I mean Russia's trying to say look we're going to pretend like the world cares about our diplomacy at the moment.

[00:15:03] Russia has sent a Navy frigate Marshal Sheposhnikov armed with Kinsel supersonic missiles into the Mediterranean Sea

[00:15:16] via the Suez Canal just hours after Iran attacked Israel with hundreds of missiles and drones.

[00:15:22] The Kremlin confirmed the ship's presence in the area adding that it will continue to perform the tasks assigned to it under the expedition plan.

[00:15:30] So they've rolled up.

[00:15:33] Russia's rolled up in the Mediterranean with hypersonic missiles.

[00:15:38] Dmitry Peskov, the troublemaker says right now it's very important to everyone to maintain restraint

[00:15:45] in order not to lead to a complete destabilization of the situation in the region

[00:15:50] which does not exactly shine with stability and predictability.

[00:15:55] What- you know they've been there. They know what the deal is in the Middle East.

[00:16:00] Why are they- you know no one should be making assumptions that anything but war is going to happen in this area.

[00:16:08] This is what this area is.

[00:16:14] We also want to address the Iranian threat to launch a significant- to launch a significant-

[00:16:20] they're threatening to launch a significant attack in Israel.

[00:16:24] That's what Joe Biden said before the attack.

[00:16:28] As I told Prime Minister of Vietnam our commitment to Israel's security against these threats from Iran and its proxies is ironclad.

[00:16:35] And you know what? The US showed up.

[00:16:37] It blew out 100 drones or something out of the sky and missiles.

[00:16:42] This is happening. You know what I mean?

[00:16:48] I got off the phone with my wife this morning and I said pray for peace in your free time today.

[00:16:55] You know? How bad it can go bad fast.

[00:17:01] Do you know what I'm saying?

[00:17:05] It can go fast. I mean it can go bad fast.

[00:17:07] You know I don't forget Iran's got hypersonic missiles too.

[00:17:11] Iran shut down Israel with a cyber attack.

[00:17:15] You know? I mean they- never underestimate your enemy.

[00:17:21] Do you know what I'm saying? Never underestimate- I've heard a lot of people talking about how ineffective that little attack was.

[00:17:30] And don't for a second think maybe it was ineffective for a reason.

[00:17:34] Or that it wasn't in a- you know.

[00:17:37] So for you what's it mean? One threat, one solution right?

[00:17:41] World War 3 on the horizon. Possibly. Maybe.

[00:17:46] What's that mean?

[00:17:48] That means the cost of everything goes up.

[00:17:51] Right? Cost of everything goes up.

[00:17:54] Hopefully your vigilance goes up.

[00:17:57] It means that the budget will be busted out again by Congress.

[00:18:02] They'll love it. They'll put a war bill together.

[00:18:04] They won't vote on a war. They won't actually go to war with anyone.

[00:18:08] They'll vote on the war bills that are 16,000 pages long and everybody gets a handshake and some pocket money.

[00:18:18] But what's it mean to you?

[00:18:22] War equals off grid.

[00:18:26] War equals off grid. I've been telling you for I don't know how many years now.

[00:18:31] War equals off grid. Do you have off grid survival projects yet?

[00:18:36] If you don't have off grid survival projects or something similar on your bookshelf, please prioritize this.

[00:18:42] Okay? I'll put the link in the description. Please prioritize this.

[00:18:47] Your life could be off grid a lot quicker than you think.

[00:18:51] If war comes, cyber attack will come to the United States.

[00:18:56] Whether it's Iran, whether it's Russia, whether it's China, cyber attack will come to the United States in a way that finally will affect people en masse.

[00:19:04] It's already here and in some ways it is affecting people en masse.

[00:19:08] It's in the pharmaceuticals lately. Right? We've seen it.

[00:19:12] But if they shut the power down for a week, two weeks, a month, forever.

[00:19:20] That's it. It's over then. You don't hear me anymore.

[00:19:24] You don't hear anybody on the PBN anymore unless you bought our archives.

[00:19:34] I stopped pushing that, but we can sell you archives.

[00:19:37] We can sell you a little USB with the PBN archives on it.

[00:19:40] It's not a bad call. Probably a good idea to have.

[00:19:44] But books are a thing too. Books make sense.

[00:19:52] What it means to you is war equals off grid.

[00:19:54] What it means to you is it's clear now.

[00:19:57] The path back to stability is self-sufficiency.

[00:20:04] One thing I would say is lingering health, dental, wellness, whatever issues.

[00:20:16] I would highly recommend you get on that in the ASAP.

[00:20:22] I mean highly recommend.

[00:20:25] If you've got a nagging pain, if you've got a surgery, if you've got a thing,

[00:20:30] if you've got something you need to get in and maybe do a round of massage,

[00:20:35] or something that needs healing, whatever it is, don't push it off.

[00:20:41] Get that stuff. It's like you want your vehicle to be in the best shape possible.

[00:20:49] That's what you want right now.

[00:20:52] You need to get into that frame of mind.

[00:20:55] You need to take care of those things.

[00:20:57] You need to write that maintenance down and get it taken care of. Period.

[00:21:03] Or else you're going to regret it.

[00:21:07] You don't want to have...

[00:21:09] You don't want to need a root canal when the world has been off grid for two weeks.

[00:21:14] You don't want that.

[00:21:20] So take advantage of the gifts of our modern society now while you can,

[00:21:24] but be prepared to survive without them should that situation come.

[00:21:32] Yeah, I think that's pretty much it.

[00:21:35] I think that's pretty much it for One Threat One Solution.

[00:21:38] I want to talk to you guys...

[00:21:41] What did I want to talk to you guys about?

[00:21:44] I had an SHTF chef lined up in my head.

[00:21:49] And what happened to it? It disappeared.

[00:21:52] So knockies.

[00:21:54] Knockies.

[00:21:57] I wanted to talk to you about knockies.

[00:22:00] How many people are familiar? Anybody?

[00:22:03] Does anybody know knockies?

[00:22:06] Where in the hell is the long pork audio?

[00:22:09] That's okay. SHTF chef, let's do it folks.

[00:22:22] The potato we pasta.

[00:22:32] The filling potato we pasta.

[00:22:34] I don't know how many of you have potatoes in the ground yet.

[00:22:37] Sweet potatoes, you can do it with both.

[00:22:39] The knockie is one of my favorites.

[00:22:43] It really is.

[00:22:44] Yesterday when I visited my mother and father,

[00:22:47] she had on a pot of knockie soup, chicken, carrots,

[00:22:52] knockies, peas.

[00:22:56] No, just peas.

[00:22:58] And I was reminded about them things man.

[00:23:01] I'd forgot about them.

[00:23:03] Lately I've been eating a lot of straight up spaghetti,

[00:23:06] garlic, red chili flake, good shaved Parmesan cheese on top.

[00:23:10] It's been delicious, wonderful.

[00:23:12] And today in my head I started thinking about back

[00:23:17] when I used to make potato knockie weekly.

[00:23:21] It was a very posh thing in the restaurants I was working with

[00:23:25] to make these handmade hand rolled potato knockie and it's easy.

[00:23:33] Something just exploded.

[00:23:37] Did you hear that?

[00:23:40] I'm not sure what that was, PBN family.

[00:23:43] But something legitimately just exploded.

[00:23:49] Let's hope it's one and done.

[00:23:53] I am going to end the broadcast and go see what the hell that was.

[00:23:57] It wasn't super close.

[00:24:00] There is several highways my way so I need to go check

[00:24:04] and see if neighbors are all right.

[00:24:07] Because I have no idea what that was but it was pretty loud.

[00:24:12] I don't know if you heard it or not.

[00:24:14] We will reconvene, okay?

[00:24:17] My dogs are out back dude they probably just had a heart attack.

[00:24:22] Don't worry I'll check and let you know everything's okay

[00:24:25] but gotta go see what the hell that was.

[00:24:28] Talk to you soon folks.

[00:24:30] See ya.

[00:24:36] I'm going to end the broadcast.

prepping,russia,israel,iran,us,
