PHOENIX SURVIVAL

[00:00:04] You are listening to PBM

[00:00:09] Your path back is to be let it here

[00:00:55] Good morning PBM. It is great to have you here on this Saturday morning May 4th of 2024

[00:01:29] How is everybody doing? I do see Pappy here in the chat

[00:01:34] My early morning partner... oh what?

[00:01:38] I jumped chat rooms

[00:01:40] So if you are listening live jump over to Prepper Broadcasting.com

[00:01:45] Join the live, join the chat

[00:01:47] I promise you the chat is half of the podcast

[00:01:52] So what is going on in this world?

[00:01:55] Chaos, mess and everything else

[00:01:59] So if anyone listened or watched the live yesterday

[00:02:03] I was on the show with the Matter of Facts boys Andrew and Phil

[00:02:08] They were talking about how to define imbalance and breaking up

[00:02:15] The monotony of everything else that's going on around you

[00:02:19] How to decompress and de-stress

[00:02:22] And how different was it? All three of us were

[00:02:25] I think the extremes on every end for the personality types

[00:02:31] Bo-Fill and I are very type A personalities

[00:02:35] We both feel like we have to constantly be doing something

[00:02:41] And Andrew Bobo is definitely one who doesn't mind

[00:02:46] Because he is also a second shift worker

[00:02:48] Who doesn't mind sitting down and relaxing

[00:02:50] So he has to get himself the motivation to get up

[00:02:53] The difference between me and Phil

[00:02:55] Is I need out of the house at the end of the day

[00:02:59] I need some human interaction

[00:03:01] I need to go walk in, I need to be out and moving

[00:03:04] Helm, he's worked all day

[00:03:06] He's ready to sit down and relax or try to

[00:03:09] So we both are opposites on that spectrum

[00:03:12] But today, today folks

[00:03:16] So I did do a quick TikTok live this morning

[00:03:20] I was just showing some of the growth of the garden

[00:03:23] I do need to put that up on Instagram

[00:03:25] I have my drop bags

[00:03:27] Which I need to...

[00:03:29] Look you know what? I'm just gonna do this

[00:03:32] This is why I have sticky notes here

[00:03:34] I need to write this down

[00:03:36] If I don't hit all of the equipment in the process

[00:03:41] And write this down

[00:03:43] Cause I say it while I'm on the line with you

[00:03:45] And then I forget what it was I was actually going to do

[00:03:48] So let's do...

[00:03:50] I also want to pull up

[00:03:57] Okay

[00:03:58] And then I have some hard stuff to talk about I guess

[00:04:01] Or stuff you may or may not want to hear

[00:04:04] And if you don't like it, turn it off

[00:04:06] Alright, what did I say? Oh drop bags

[00:04:10] Pappy, I hope you're helping me

[00:04:12] Cause we both know butterflies are strong in this household

[00:04:16] Alright, here's the live on Instagram

[00:04:24] Which I'll probably do this after the podcast

[00:04:30] Alright, so

[00:04:32] Title 9

[00:04:34] I know some of us had heard this

[00:04:36] What is

[00:04:38] Title 9, right?

[00:04:40] Title 9 is the most commonly used name

[00:04:43] For the landmark federal civil rights

[00:04:45] In the United States

[00:04:47] That was enacted as part of the education

[00:04:49] Amendments of 1972

[00:04:52] It prohibits sex based discrimination

[00:04:55] In any school or any other education program

[00:04:58] That receives funding from the federal government

[00:05:01] Okay, so what does that mean

[00:05:03] In simple terms

[00:05:09] It prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex

[00:05:12] And education programs and activities

[00:05:14] Right, I said that

[00:05:16] The thing is, what does it mean for you?

[00:05:20] Well that means anybody can do

[00:05:24] Let me rephrase this in the right way

[00:05:26] Because it's the fact that this removed

[00:05:29] It basically what's happening now

[00:05:32] Is there's more liberties

[00:05:35] Among sexes being able to do anything

[00:05:38] Essentially

[00:05:40] So now, what does that mean?

[00:05:42] That means

[00:05:44] The laws in those 10 states

[00:05:46] That had put into place to protect women

[00:05:49] And girls from having boys

[00:05:51] Coming into their bathroom at school

[00:05:54] Or in certain places

[00:05:56] Is now no longer a safe place

[00:05:58] That means boys can be in the

[00:06:01] Changing area for the girls

[00:06:03] They can be in the bathrooms

[00:06:05] And honestly it is concerning as a parent

[00:06:10] As a woman that something like that

[00:06:13] Can be allowed

[00:06:15] So it really changes how much people

[00:06:21] Have as far as rights on

[00:06:25] I get it is, you know

[00:06:27] Trying to keep people from being discriminated

[00:06:30] Based on sex but at the same time

[00:06:33] Women should have their own spaces

[00:06:35] Men should have their own spaces

[00:06:38] It's just that simple

[00:06:40] Women should be allowed to encumber

[00:06:43] And take away that safety

[00:06:46] That was there

[00:06:48] Now you're gonna have to deal with

[00:06:50] More issues of sexual harassment

[00:06:53] Less than equal

[00:06:55] You know they're trying to make it equal treatment

[00:06:58] But things are not equal between a male and a female

[00:07:01] Biologically, physically, hormonal

[00:07:06] Men are stronger than women

[00:07:09] They're built differently

[00:07:11] I'm not saying that women are weak by any means

[00:07:13] But women are strong in their own ways

[00:07:16] Men are much stronger

[00:07:19] Physically, they are

[00:07:22] That's just how they're made

[00:07:25] You know so you are putting women

[00:07:27] In some dangerous situations

[00:07:30] This is their way of trying to

[00:07:35] Ugh, you know what

[00:07:36] I don't even want to talk about this anymore

[00:07:38] It sounds horrible

[00:07:39] Do your research folks

[00:07:40] Look it up

[00:07:41] Look how Title IX

[00:07:43] Or what Title IX meant

[00:07:45] And now that the fact that Title IX has been

[00:07:47] Was that Title IX has now abolished

[00:07:50] Title IX protected people from being

[00:08:05] I'm not saying Title IX

[00:08:07] Was a bad thing

[00:08:08] Title IX, you know

[00:08:13] It just, just

[00:08:15] The fact that Title IX was done the way it was

[00:08:17] And what does that mean

[00:08:19] And how it will affect you

[00:08:21] Look into it folks

[00:08:22] Please do not

[00:08:27] Do not just take things

[00:08:29] For face value for folks

[00:08:30] Do your research

[00:08:31] Because right now I'm flustered with the whole thing

[00:08:33] That I'm getting distracted

[00:08:37] It's just look into it, okay

[00:08:40] Look into it

[00:08:41] What is else that's going on in the world

[00:08:43] That we are seeing is

[00:08:45] You know what, let me just pull this up

[00:08:47] Protesting at the universities

[00:08:50] Right

[00:08:51] So on the live yesterday

[00:08:54] One of the listeners, Kyle Wilson

[00:08:57] Or Kyle from YouTube

[00:08:59] Something like that, sorry

[00:09:00] I just remembered seeing the name on there

[00:09:06] He mentioned that there are some

[00:09:10] Protests happening in the south

[00:09:15] Ole Miss, Alabama and LSU

[00:09:18] But they're not going as well

[00:09:20] Which I'm not surprised because

[00:09:22] In the south we don't handle protests

[00:09:24] In the same, especially in Mississippi

[00:09:26] I lived there for 10 years

[00:09:29] Now there are some things about that state

[00:09:31] I could tell you I think are a little backwards

[00:09:33] But

[00:09:34] In the grand scheme of things

[00:09:36] Mississippi is all for the rights

[00:09:38] Of the individual and the gun holder

[00:09:41] So when BLM was going through

[00:09:43] When you had all these crazy protests

[00:09:45] That were shutting down the freeways

[00:09:48] In Tennessee

[00:09:49] That nearly killed a child

[00:09:51] Who was in an ambulance

[00:09:53] Mississippi does not put up for that

[00:09:56] They do not

[00:09:57] And the cops have, I've seen

[00:09:59] Cops tell protesters

[00:10:01] If you get in this road and you get hit

[00:10:03] We will not stop the driver

[00:10:07] Hey, good morning Silverstreak

[00:10:10] How are you?

[00:10:15] 18 years for me

[00:10:17] 18 years for what, Pappy?

[00:10:19] Oh, Mississippi, yes

[00:10:21] Don't get me wrong, I like Mississippi

[00:10:23] There are certain parts of it that are beautiful

[00:10:25] Some of the laws and the way that they protect

[00:10:27] The people there

[00:10:29] Absolutely back 110%

[00:10:31] There are other things in that state

[00:10:33] That, yeah

[00:10:35] A little less desirable

[00:10:37] And it's just the way the laws

[00:10:39] And things work

[00:10:41] So I am seeing here

[00:10:43] Police make arrests at NYU

[00:10:45] In the new school

[00:10:47] Arrest from campus demonstrations

[00:10:49] Or racking up what happens next

[00:10:51] These are just headlines, okay

[00:10:53] What people do not realize

[00:10:55] These young folks

[00:10:57] And if you're a younger folk

[00:10:59] Individual, a college student, whatever

[00:11:01] Listen up, please

[00:11:03] Please

[00:11:05] You want to be pro-Palestine

[00:11:07] You want to stop this

[00:11:09] What are you doing?

[00:11:11] These chants that these people are saying

[00:11:13] Are calling for terrorism

[00:11:15] They're not just being pro-Palestine

[00:11:17] They're being pro-Hamas

[00:11:19] Do you even know what Hamas is?

[00:11:21] Do you know who they are and what they stand for?

[00:11:23] Do you not realize

[00:11:25] What you are calling for

[00:11:29] What you are demanding

[00:11:31] And how you were treating the Israelites

[00:11:33] And the Jews

[00:11:35] Do you not realize

[00:11:37] You're making Hitler one of the proudest people in his grave

[00:11:41] Think about that

[00:11:43] You call all these people Nazis

[00:11:45] You call all these people

[00:11:47] These horrible things

[00:11:49] And you demand all of these things

[00:11:51] On American soil

[00:11:53] And mistreat your own American brother and sister

[00:11:55] For what?

[00:11:57] Your 10 minutes of fame

[00:11:59] You won't let

[00:12:01] Social media, any sort of media cruise in there

[00:12:03] Because why? You're afraid

[00:12:05] Of your face

[00:12:07] But you think if taken over

[00:12:09] A part of a college campus

[00:12:11] And destroying that

[00:12:13] That you're making a message

[00:12:15] No

[00:12:17] You're showing people how liberal

[00:12:19] And how bad things have gotten

[00:12:21] You are

[00:12:23] You are making things impossible

[00:12:25] For everybody else who is just trying to do

[00:12:27] Get an education

[00:12:29] And do right by themselves

[00:12:31] But then these kids are so upset

[00:12:33] When they get banned

[00:12:35] When they're getting suspended

[00:12:37] Expelled

[00:12:39] They're losing their grants

[00:12:41] What did you expect?

[00:12:45] That everything was going to be

[00:12:47] Oh, rainbows and flowers and sunshines

[00:12:49] And kumbaya

[00:12:51] You're no better than the idiot who have glued their hands

[00:12:53] To the concrete

[00:12:55] I'm sorry

[00:12:57] It is going to be a harsh one today

[00:12:59] I'm sorry, Papi

[00:13:01] Please, do you rail me please?

[00:13:03] Beautiful land and that was about it

[00:13:07] You're right Mississippi is beautiful

[00:13:09] It's very flat though so I'm used to the foothills

[00:13:11] In the Ozarks

[00:13:13] So it is very flat for me

[00:13:15] But yes, some great hunting

[00:13:17] Hunting in Mississippi

[00:13:19] Hello folks

[00:13:23] In the chat it's great to see you mat dog

[00:13:25] Cats kill Frank

[00:13:27] Silver streak and Papi

[00:13:29] Are my four today

[00:13:33] But that's the problem

[00:13:35] That if they act

[00:13:37] In a extreme way

[00:13:39] That it is going to

[00:13:41] Gain attention

[00:13:45] You're not

[00:13:47] You are not, you are hurting yourself

[00:13:49] You are hurting the people around you

[00:13:51] For what?

[00:13:54] Do you not realize the actions

[00:13:56] What you are calling for

[00:13:58] Is treasonous

[00:14:04] I don't think these people realize

[00:14:06] You've gotten so into your blue

[00:14:08] Scared warped freaking mindset

[00:14:10] Of pronouns and heath a them

[00:14:12] It's

[00:14:14] No one cares

[00:14:16] Mental illness has taken

[00:14:18] A high point

[00:14:20] With this behavior

[00:14:22] Grow up

[00:14:24] The world is not all sunshine

[00:14:26] And butterflies, I am sorry

[00:14:28] I am so sorry

[00:14:30] That you are so overly cuddled

[00:14:32] And protected

[00:14:34] That you think that is what the world

[00:14:36] Is

[00:14:38] I am so sorry

[00:14:40] That you don't realize the world is hard

[00:14:42] It is nasty

[00:14:44] It is not easy and we all

[00:14:46] Struggle

[00:14:48] There are going to be things in this world that none of us like

[00:14:50] But there are things in this world

[00:14:52] That are going to happen

[00:14:54] That are out of her control

[00:14:56] And how we react to it makes the difference

[00:14:58] So if you want to sit there

[00:15:00] And kick and scream

[00:15:02] And break federal laws and act like a child

[00:15:04] Then understand you will get the consequences

[00:15:06] Consequences for your behavior

[00:15:10] If you want to handle things

[00:15:12] Like an adult and understand

[00:15:14] There are things out of your control

[00:15:16] Things go a lot better

[00:15:19] I am not saying back the government on everything

[00:15:21] But I am saying

[00:15:23] What these kids are doing is absurd

[00:15:27] We should be back in Israel

[00:15:29] That is my opinion

[00:15:31] It states that is the holy land

[00:15:33] That is not a country we need to ever turn our backs on

[00:15:35] And this younger generation

[00:15:37] Has no clue

[00:15:39] What they are doing to themselves

[00:15:41] It is probably good James James isn't live right now

[00:15:46] I didn't mean to go that dark on you

[00:15:48] It is just

[00:15:50] I am doing a feel rant

[00:15:52] Sorry Phil, I took that from you

[00:15:57] Y'all be proactive in your life

[00:15:59] If you don't like something

[00:16:01] Change something different

[00:16:03] You know for me

[00:16:05] I don't like how food prices keep going

[00:16:07] I don't

[00:16:09] And it's not going down anytime soon

[00:16:11] Our rent is increasing again

[00:16:13] Can you believe that? Again

[00:16:15] Woo

[00:16:21] And what are we doing?

[00:16:23] I don't like how food has gone up

[00:16:25] So I am gardening again

[00:16:27] I don't like how much it costs for eggs

[00:16:29] And other things that shouldn't be

[00:16:31] As expensive as they are

[00:16:33] So I have chickens again

[00:16:35] I have an overabundance

[00:16:37] Of certain vegetables in my garden

[00:16:39] That we won't eat in a single use

[00:16:41] So I will be canon again

[00:16:43] I can eat in bulk

[00:16:45] So I can freeze and dehydrate

[00:16:47] And put up again

[00:16:49] Because those are things I can do

[00:16:51] To offset

[00:16:53] Everything else in my life

[00:16:55] I save money

[00:16:57] By doing this

[00:16:59] Yes it takes a little bit of my time

[00:17:01] But I am okay with allocating time

[00:17:03] To something that is going to be

[00:17:05] A

[00:17:07] A benefit

[00:17:09] To my family

[00:17:11] A benefit to our needs

[00:17:13] A benefit to saving money

[00:17:15] And the overall cost of things

[00:17:17] I am taking the time

[00:17:19] To realize okay

[00:17:23] We're going through all of our clothes

[00:17:25] Minimizing, selling

[00:17:27] What have you

[00:17:29] Decreasing so we have less

[00:17:31] To have to worry about

[00:17:33] Because overabundance

[00:17:35] Is a bad thing sometimes

[00:17:37] Especially depending on what

[00:17:39] What it is

[00:17:41] Being able to say I can do this myself

[00:17:47] Makes

[00:17:49] A difference

[00:17:51] So you know I can make my own

[00:17:53] Textiles

[00:17:55] I can crochet

[00:17:57] I am sewing

[00:17:59] I am doing what I need to

[00:18:01] For my family

[00:18:03] What are you doing

[00:18:05] What have you

[00:18:07] Chose to do to help with your family

[00:18:09] I know most of my listeners

[00:18:11] I do believe garden or

[00:18:13] Or starting a garden

[00:18:15] I want to try making sourdough

[00:18:17] So I am going to be doing a starter soon

[00:18:19] Watching garden girl

[00:18:21] And J Bindi

[00:18:23] Watching them

[00:18:25] Make stuff as really pushed

[00:18:27] What I want to do

[00:18:29] And folks if you are not in the chat

[00:18:31] Please sign up

[00:18:33] Reach out to myself, reach out to James

[00:18:35] Reach out to whomever in the network

[00:18:37] And we can get you added to these rooms

[00:18:39] We have things like the live chat

[00:18:41] We have the open chat

[00:18:43] We have the PBN family cookbook

[00:18:45] In which we share recipes

[00:18:47] We have projects

[00:18:49] And homestead

[00:18:51] And everything else

[00:18:53] I mean it is something

[00:18:55] You want to be a part of

[00:18:57] These are people with like-minded ideas

[00:18:59] And we all come from different walks of life

[00:19:01] Think of it this way

[00:19:03] Even if you are not 100% on board

[00:19:05] Maybe something on here might catch your attention

[00:19:07] That is why we have as many

[00:19:09] Hosts as we do

[00:19:11] We have 15 different hosts

[00:19:15] All from different parts of the world

[00:19:17] Different parts of life

[00:19:19] And we are just

[00:19:21] All in the same area

[00:19:23] Where we want to be self sufficient

[00:19:25] Where we care for our fellow

[00:19:27] Brothers and sisters

[00:19:29] And want to be more

[00:19:55] I don't know if y'all can hear

[00:20:04] My son is in the background with his

[00:20:06] Miss Rachel program on youtube

[00:21:09] Because the world of ready

[00:21:11] Is out

[00:21:13] What is the world of ready

[00:21:15] World of ready is a book that is

[00:21:17] Showing preparedness to children

[00:21:19] It is not to be scary

[00:21:21] Okay, when- you know what

[00:21:23] Let me read this on the back

[00:21:25] When wildfires threaten young

[00:21:27] Mallory and Conrad's home

[00:21:29] They discover a strange gift

[00:21:31] And embark on a journey to

[00:21:33] The world of ready

[00:21:35] There they meet a creature, Uda

[00:21:37] Who teaches them about preparedness

[00:21:39] And how to build a go-back

[00:21:41] Alright, this is kid friendly

[00:21:43] This is sweet, we've read through it

[00:21:45] Why not

[00:21:47] Show that preparedness does not have

[00:21:49] To be scary for any person in the family

[00:21:51] I have

[00:21:53] Three older children myself who

[00:21:55] I've raised in preparedness and they do not

[00:21:57] Find it scary, they find it as a part

[00:21:59] Of their life so those moments that seem

[00:22:01] Like they could be scary, gives them

[00:22:03] That sense of peace. This book

[00:22:05] Helps insure deusas that to your children

[00:22:07] For those of you who don't know where to begin

[00:22:10] Who

[00:22:12] Want it to be one thing, preparedness is not

[00:22:14] Age specific

[00:22:16] Preparedness can go all the way down to your

[00:22:19] Little's and this book right here is a great start

[00:22:22] I love it. James you did amazing with that

[00:22:25] So I'm giving you a shout out, check it out

[00:22:27] It is on Amazon

[00:22:37] It is the world of ready book one

[00:22:43] Go bags, there are to be more

[00:22:45] Okay this book is amazing

[00:22:48] If you have prime it is

[00:22:51] 999

[00:22:53] I think it's maybe also if you

[00:22:56] Don't have prime I think it's around $10

[00:22:58] But it's definitely worth getting

[00:23:01] It's worth looking, it was written by

[00:23:03] James Walton illustrated by

[00:23:05] Leisha Earlin and Evelyn

[00:23:07] Wesley

[00:23:09] Look into it, it's a great book

[00:23:11] Especially if you're not sure where to start

[00:23:13] You want it family friendly

[00:23:15] It's a great beginning

[00:23:17] I promise y'all it's a great

[00:23:19] Beginning

[00:23:21] Let's see

[00:23:24] You know what, let me go to

[00:23:26] A quick commercial break

[00:23:28] Grab some more water and I will be

[00:23:30] Right back

[00:23:41] They plunged into darkness

[00:23:43] He says he expects to continue with stage 6

[00:23:45] Throwing blackouts all the rest of the world

[00:23:47] He's scheduled outage on Thursday

[00:23:49] But the one that happened Sunday

[00:23:51] It wasn't scheduled, it was unexpected

[00:23:53] And it lasted longer than a day

[00:23:55] Point zero energy has given me

[00:23:57] The American tested

[00:23:59] American assembled

[00:24:01] Reliable solar backup that I've been looking for

[00:24:03] Their tightly solar generator

[00:24:05] Is American ingenuity at its finest

[00:24:07] With a removable

[00:24:09] Expandable lithium ion battery

[00:24:11] 2000 watt hour

[00:24:13] 3000 watt high efficiency

[00:24:15] Inverter, so what does all that mean to you

[00:24:17] It means that Titan can charge

[00:24:19] Your smart phone for 88 hours

[00:24:21] Your laptop for 35 hours

[00:24:23] A CPAP for 108 hours

[00:24:25] Your refrigerator for 26.8 hours

[00:24:27] Get to

[00:24:29] PointzeroEnergy.com

[00:24:31] Today for the all American

[00:24:33] Solution to backup power

[00:24:35] Hello

[00:24:37] Welcome to the podcast

[00:24:41] Present your vaccine passport

[00:24:45] Enter your social credit score

[00:24:47] And be sure

[00:24:49] You have enough remaining carbon credits

[00:24:51] To enjoy today's show

[00:25:03] That's right

[00:25:07] Your garden is the resistance

[00:25:09] Can you believe that

[00:25:11] Everything that we do as preppers

[00:25:13] Is always going to be questioned

[00:25:15] It's gonna be

[00:25:17] Threat or something along some sort of

[00:25:19] Line

[00:25:21] Self-sufficiency

[00:25:23] Is key

[00:25:25] Being able to grow and do for yourself

[00:25:27] Is

[00:25:29] Paramount

[00:25:31] You need to be able to do these things

[00:25:33] Whether it be

[00:25:35] Knowing how to start a fire

[00:25:37] Knowing how to

[00:25:41] Grow your own plants

[00:25:43] How to

[00:25:45] Fish, hunt

[00:25:47] So all of these things

[00:25:49] Are important

[00:25:51] What makes the difference is how important

[00:25:53] Each one is to you

[00:25:57] Yep, you hear that

[00:26:01] I don't know if y'all can hear him in the background

[00:26:03] But I can hear him singing away

[00:26:05] But

[00:26:07] It just goes to show things

[00:26:09] Things make a difference

[00:26:15] Is my volume too loud?

[00:26:17] I just realized that my microphone is reading some crazy

[00:26:19] readings

[00:26:21] That's because it's picking up in the music

[00:26:25] In the background. I did not realize

[00:26:27] It was, is it that loud, Pappy?

[00:26:29] I'm just now realizing that it's moving

[00:26:31] Based on the background

[00:26:33] Yeah, so I mean

[00:26:43] Okay

[00:26:53] Sorry, I'm just tickled at watching this

[00:26:55] And I believe it's picking up everything in the background

[00:26:57] I may have to

[00:26:59] Does that help?

[00:27:01] No, that does not help

[00:27:03] Alright, regardless

[00:27:05] Being able to know what it is you want

[00:27:07] To do for your family

[00:27:09] Again, we always hear

[00:27:11] I don't know where to start

[00:27:13] I have a friend who wants to learn

[00:27:15] To can and she wants to do all these things

[00:27:17] But she doesn't know where to start

[00:27:19] And I told her let's get the supplies

[00:27:21] First of what it is

[00:27:23] If you want to make jelly, if you want to can soup

[00:27:25] Whatever

[00:27:27] Let's get those first, okay

[00:27:29] I have the pressure canner

[00:27:31] Let's get your jars that you want

[00:27:33] And let's figure out what it is you want to make first

[00:27:35] And we'll handle one thing at a time

[00:27:37] You get one thing down

[00:27:39] You like it, alright? You keep doing that

[00:27:41] Great

[00:27:43] Then you get to the next thing

[00:27:45] Oh, I want to do this, perfect

[00:27:47] Let's start here, always start from the beginning

[00:27:49] Always

[00:27:51] I'm not sure how to do this

[00:27:53] Alright, let's look at recipes

[00:27:55] Let's look up the

[00:27:57] The jar and cookbook

[00:27:59] That one has some amazing recipes in there

[00:28:01] Nothing wrong with that

[00:28:03] Works phenomenal

[00:28:05] Sorry folks

[00:28:09] I am, so I know

[00:28:11] I spoke to y'all before when I found that electric chicken

[00:28:13] Coup d'oeuvre

[00:28:15] I didn't need one, I did just make a wooden one

[00:28:17] I've got to put the latch on there so I can lock it at night

[00:28:19] But

[00:28:21] I found a 2-in-1 portable camp and stove

[00:28:23] In propane oven

[00:28:25] Two burner stove top

[00:28:29] With adjustable fire

[00:28:31] The momiter, wind, panel

[00:28:33] And regulator for traveling and tailgate

[00:28:35] This is what I want, that's $199

[00:28:37] So, what's that mean?

[00:28:39] It means

[00:28:41] I will be saving up for this

[00:28:43] I like this, I want to try it

[00:28:48] I think it would be something that works great

[00:28:50] The power goes out here because

[00:28:52] Guess what? Our fireplace

[00:28:54] Has been removed

[00:28:56] So, what does that mean for us?

[00:28:58] That means that we have no heat source

[00:29:00] Or cooking source indoors, it would be outside

[00:29:02] But during hurricane season

[00:29:04] It's not always the safest

[00:29:06] So we shall see

[00:29:08] We shall see

[00:29:10] Sorry I'm everywhere today

[00:29:17] Folks, it's just

[00:29:19] That little rant kind of

[00:29:23] It's upsetting because this is not

[00:29:25] What we want for our children

[00:29:27] And our children are the ones who will

[00:29:29] Have to deal with this

[00:29:31] So we are the ones who have to make sure

[00:29:33] We give our children a solid background

[00:29:35] A solid foundation

[00:29:37] And I say this every time but it's so true

[00:29:39] I have

[00:29:41] Four children

[00:29:43] Four

[00:29:45] I have a teenager

[00:29:47] Who

[00:29:51] Things he knows everything

[00:29:53] And can take on the world

[00:29:55] And maybe he will eventually know everything

[00:30:00] I have two young daughters

[00:30:02] Both pre-teens

[00:30:04] Who

[00:30:06] One has her head about her

[00:30:08] Better than anyone else I've ever seen

[00:30:10] And another one who has the strongest back

[00:30:14] And I hope for the best

[00:30:16] For each of those older three children

[00:30:18] Because

[00:30:20] They are going to deal with the times of now

[00:30:22] They are going to live through this

[00:30:24] Right now

[00:30:26] My youngest is so small

[00:30:28] That

[00:30:30] Everything that happens within the next

[00:30:32] Five years

[00:30:34] Unless something terribly

[00:30:36] Dramatic happens

[00:30:38] They will not impact him

[00:30:40] The same

[00:30:42] So all we can do is

[00:30:47] Keep teaching our children to be prepared

[00:30:49] Keep giving them

[00:30:51] That foundation even though

[00:30:53] They are going to hit a point where

[00:30:55] Whatever mom

[00:30:57] Whatever dad

[00:30:59] I don't care

[00:31:01] And we don't

[00:31:03] I don't know everything

[00:31:05] But I do my damnedest to learn as much as I can

[00:31:07] For my kids

[00:31:09] And for my family

[00:31:11] And that's all we can do

[00:31:13] Give them that foundation

[00:31:15] Give them that hope

[00:31:17] That we keep alive in ourselves

[00:31:19] In them

[00:31:26] So

[00:31:28] I keep garden

[00:31:30] I keep my chickens

[00:31:32] I keep sowing

[00:31:34] I keep taking time

[00:31:36] To take my children on walks

[00:31:38] And we talk about the animals

[00:31:40] The flora and the fauna

[00:31:42] We go to the beach

[00:31:44] We talk about things there

[00:31:46] We go fishing

[00:31:48] We keep ourselves

[00:31:50] Involved

[00:31:52] In everything around us

[00:31:54] So that we can keep our children

[00:31:56] Children involved

[00:31:58] And enlightened with what is going around them

[00:32:05] Parenting is never idle

[00:32:07] Learning

[00:32:09] Is never idle

[00:32:11] Being involved in both of these

[00:32:13] Is a big deal

[00:32:22] Sorry y'all I can hear

[00:32:24] Peppy is it really bad or mad dog?

[00:32:26] I know y'all are in here

[00:32:28] Let's see

[00:32:33] What is something

[00:32:35] Good that's going on in the world

[00:32:37] Let's check a quick peek

[00:32:39] Let's see

[00:32:50] They're making it a whole

[00:32:52] Biden vs Trump now with the college

[00:32:54] Protest vs Hamas

[00:32:56] And Israel

[00:32:58] We are dealing with our

[00:33:12] Own issues

[00:33:14] In America

[00:33:16] We are dealing with an influx

[00:33:18] Of refugees

[00:33:20] Coming in

[00:33:22] People are getting hurt

[00:33:24] People are losing homes

[00:33:26] All because

[00:33:28] People who are not

[00:33:30] Born here or going about it

[00:33:32] The legal way now have more rights

[00:33:34] Than we do as an individual

[00:33:36] I was trying to go to a happy route

[00:33:38] But let's just be honest

[00:33:40] This is what today is sorry

[00:33:42] We are dealing with

[00:33:46] Our own

[00:33:50] Many terrorism in our own

[00:33:52] Country with these

[00:33:54] Protest of Hamas

[00:33:56] Pro Hamas

[00:33:58] Pro Palestine individuals on college campuses

[00:34:00] That are

[00:34:02] Attacking

[00:34:04] And hurting the Jewish community

[00:34:06] Anyone from Israel

[00:34:08] Anyone who seems like they are pro-Israel

[00:34:12] We are

[00:34:17] Witnessing

[00:34:19] Some terrible things

[00:34:24] Or the start

[00:34:26] Of some potentially terrible, terrible things

[00:34:28] These are all bad things

[00:34:30] Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to downplay it

[00:34:32] Why is this not motivation enough?

[00:34:36] Yes

[00:34:40] It is not affecting you directly

[00:34:42] Right?

[00:34:44] What do you do when it does?

[00:34:46] Now at the moment

[00:34:48] This is all at college campuses

[00:34:50] But what about for the people who live around those

[00:34:52] College campuses

[00:34:54] Or those people who are trying to go back to school

[00:34:56] Or are going to school and it does affect them

[00:34:58] What would be something you tell them?

[00:35:00] What would be a message you give to these people

[00:35:02] Who we are standing on the sidelines watching?

[00:35:06] What is something you would tell them?

[00:35:12] When they ask why

[00:35:14] I don't know the why

[00:35:16] I don't understand

[00:35:18] Their why

[00:35:20] Not the people who are asking, the people who are doing this

[00:35:22] I don't understand

[00:35:24] What you think this is going to achieve

[00:35:26] We're

[00:35:32] Almost like 1970s

[00:35:34] Right? With the Vietnam

[00:35:36] Oh no, not that one

[00:35:38] You get what I'm trying to do

[00:35:40] I just

[00:35:44] What do you do for those people?

[00:35:46] How are they supposed to prepare?

[00:35:48] Do we tell them

[00:35:51] To make sure to stay strapped?

[00:35:53] What would your advice be

[00:35:55] Happy or whomever

[00:35:57] To these listeners

[00:35:59] Who may be a part of this?

[00:36:01] Keep your head up

[00:36:03] As you see

[00:36:05] Actions are being taken

[00:36:07] To stop what they're doing

[00:36:09] But it does affect you

[00:36:11] I don't know how far in life it is affecting you

[00:36:13] But it does

[00:36:15] We are also seeing

[00:36:17] A federal law of

[00:36:19] Anti-Semitic language

[00:36:23] It is now a federal offence

[00:36:25] To say anything negative

[00:36:27] In anti-Semitic

[00:36:29] In a semi-Semitic way

[00:36:35] I mean all sorts of things are happening

[00:36:37] What can we do?

[00:36:42] We stay ready

[00:36:44] Keep prepping

[00:36:46] Make sure you have plenty of water put up

[00:36:48] Make sure you have plenty of food in the house

[00:36:50] Make sure you have a way to cook

[00:36:52] Store that food properly

[00:36:54] Make sure you have emergency bags

[00:36:56] And bandages and food

[00:36:58] Not food, medical care

[00:37:00] And everything else

[00:37:02] Because when it comes down to it

[00:37:04] Yes

[00:37:06] We are watching this from the sidelines

[00:37:08] Yes, it seems like it's nothing

[00:37:10] Except for the people it does affect

[00:37:12] Right?

[00:37:14] What happens

[00:37:16] When those people take it too far

[00:37:18] And they try to prevent people

[00:37:20] Or

[00:37:22] You know

[00:37:24] Transports coming in and out with food

[00:37:26] And everything else

[00:37:28] You have to be ready for anything

[00:37:30] And throw your way

[00:37:32] You know the people who are trying to go

[00:37:34] On the campus

[00:37:36] Who say that they haven't had any issues

[00:37:38] And nobody has attacked them

[00:37:40] Make sure you're still carrying

[00:37:42] A first aid or a trauma kit

[00:37:44] I would highly recommend

[00:37:46] Anywhere you go for anybody

[00:37:48] You have that on you

[00:37:50] Because anything can happen at any point in time

[00:37:52] I don't want you to be afraid

[00:37:54] I don't and this is not trying to fear

[00:37:56] Mongol, this is not fear porn

[00:37:58] I want you to understand

[00:38:00] That preparedness

[00:38:02] You can be prepared for anything at any point in time

[00:38:04] I think everybody

[00:38:06] Should have a small IVAC

[00:38:08] Um

[00:38:10] Should

[00:38:12] Maybe have a small trauma kit

[00:38:14] In their car

[00:38:16] A few extra bottles of water

[00:38:18] I always keep nabs

[00:38:20] In my vehicle

[00:38:22] It's just a habit for me because I travel a lot

[00:38:24] I have children

[00:38:26] I have food and water or a snack

[00:38:28] To get a spine case I break down

[00:38:30] A first aid kit because guess what

[00:38:32] Boo-Boo's happen, accidents happen

[00:38:34] People follow, they scrape their knees

[00:38:36] They trip, they

[00:38:38] Whatever, it happens

[00:38:40] So it's not me

[00:38:42] Trying to tell you to be prepared because

[00:38:44] Oh, extreme such and such could happen

[00:38:46] No, it's being prepared because

[00:38:48] Any minor accident can happen

[00:38:50] A fender banner

[00:38:52] I had a friend who sent me one and she was all shaken up

[00:38:56] It's a good idea to have these things on you

[00:38:58] My girls, my son

[00:39:00] They carry little kits in their bag

[00:39:02] Because guess what

[00:39:04] Paper cut, whatever

[00:39:06] Someone falls

[00:39:08] At least then they have it

[00:39:10] Accidents do happen

[00:39:12] Minor things happen

[00:39:14] But it doesn't mean you can't be prepared for it

[00:39:16] I mean

[00:39:18] Someone's gonna be doing something

[00:39:20] And they accidentally cut their finger with their knife

[00:39:22] Well that's bleeding

[00:39:24] Wrap it up, put a bandage on it and you're good

[00:39:26] Instead of having it bleed everywhere

[00:39:28] Trying to find a bandaid

[00:39:30] My biggest piece

[00:39:35] To these people is keep your head up

[00:39:37] The people who are

[00:39:39] Around this, who see it and just see chaos

[00:39:41] Keep your head up

[00:39:43] Keep pushing forward

[00:39:45] Carry

[00:39:47] Your first aid kit, carry your iFax

[00:39:49] Carry whatever it is

[00:39:51] You think you may need

[00:39:53] For your own safety and protection

[00:39:55] Because it's what it's gonna take

[00:39:57] It's kinda like I told

[00:39:59] James and

[00:40:01] Andrew, not James

[00:40:03] Phil and Andrew last night

[00:40:05] On the show

[00:40:09] Alright, so I always carry if I'm going out

[00:40:11] I actually got a date

[00:40:13] Where I didn't have

[00:40:15] My son with me

[00:40:17] He stayed home with dad so I could get some grocery

[00:40:19] Shopping done

[00:40:21] Cause it just happened to be deer nap time

[00:40:23] I pull up to Kroger

[00:40:25] And there's the, I say a young mom

[00:40:27] She's probably my age

[00:40:29] And she has

[00:40:31] Two small children with her

[00:40:33] And she's trying to load them into her car

[00:40:35] And she's got a cart full of things

[00:40:37] And I decide, you know what

[00:40:39] I can't in good conscience

[00:40:41] Leave her

[00:40:43] Staying in there

[00:40:45] Loading two littles by herself

[00:40:47] And not keeping an eye out for her

[00:40:49] So I walked around to the front of my car

[00:40:51] And I leaned up against the hood

[00:40:53] And I said, I hope you don't mind

[00:40:55] I'm just gonna stand here until you get your

[00:40:57] Your babies loaded

[00:40:59] Just because there's been a lot going on here

[00:41:01] Even in Myrtle Beach

[00:41:03] There's been a lot of incidents

[00:41:05] And she said

[00:41:07] Oh thank you, I appreciate it

[00:41:09] Normally I'm carrying

[00:41:11] And today I just had to get out of the house

[00:41:13] Real quick

[00:41:15] And normally I send one child

[00:41:17] My older child to climb over

[00:41:19] And I said, you don't have to explain it

[00:41:21] I understand, I just want you to know

[00:41:23] I would feel safer knowing you get them both

[00:41:25] I understand on the strap

[00:41:27] Because I lifted up part of my shirt

[00:41:29] And she saw I'm carrying two

[00:41:31] Just so she felt understood

[00:41:33] That hey, I respect that

[00:41:35] I'm a carrier too

[00:41:37] And she said thank you

[00:41:39] I appreciate you so much

[00:41:41] Because normally I have a certain way

[00:41:43] I load my children in

[00:41:45] So we don't have to worry about

[00:41:47] I'm trying to come up and grab one of my babies

[00:41:49] But today for whatever reason

[00:41:51] I put something here and it's blocked

[00:41:53] So I have to put them in individually

[00:41:55] And I was like, I completely get it

[00:41:57] I'm just happy you didn't mind me standing

[00:41:59] Here for the safety of your kids

[00:42:01] And that's what our whole interaction was

[00:42:03] Because it was important

[00:42:05] To me

[00:42:07] That her and her

[00:42:09] Babies

[00:42:11] Were okay

[00:42:13] Her and her babies were safe

[00:42:15] And because I would want

[00:42:17] Someone to do the same for me

[00:42:19] And mine

[00:42:21] My children

[00:42:23] Because I know what it's like

[00:42:25] To have several littles

[00:42:27] And to be trying to get them in

[00:42:29] The vehicle with as little

[00:42:31] Issues as possible

[00:42:33] Because my biggest fear

[00:42:35] Was

[00:42:37] I've had someone approach and act

[00:42:39] Like they were going to take my son

[00:42:41] Not with me, but with my in-laws

[00:42:45] My biggest fear was what happens

[00:42:47] If someone walks up and grabs my all three kids

[00:42:49] And runs in different directions

[00:42:51] Luckily

[00:42:53] I have children who are very

[00:42:55] Understanding of how mommy's brain works

[00:42:57] And paying attention

[00:42:59] That when someone's walking up

[00:43:01] Or when I'm loading them into the car

[00:43:03] We have a method for this

[00:43:05] So

[00:43:07] Be kind to one another

[00:43:09] Look out for each other

[00:43:11] Because

[00:43:13] I'm a little bit

[00:43:15] Amid just standing there those extra

[00:43:17] Few minutes

[00:43:19] I mean the mom was thinking me

[00:43:21] Like absolutely and I told her it wasn't a big deal

[00:43:23] Because for me

[00:43:25] I would want someone to have our back

[00:43:27] You're not going to see that much in life

[00:43:29] But we could do that

[00:43:31] Be cognizant

[00:43:33] Be kind

[00:43:37] Keep preparing

[00:43:39] Keep prepping, keep doing what you need to do

[00:43:41] To take care of your family

[00:43:43] Try to get into a little happier

[00:43:45] We

[00:43:47] We are going to see a lot more madness

[00:43:49] Come out of the world

[00:43:51] I know it and you know it

[00:43:53] Just kind of like the whole

[00:43:55] Shirt that James has is

[00:43:57] Let's be the calm within the chaos

[00:43:59] We're going to have our moments where

[00:44:01] We're upset and we watch it

[00:44:03] And we shake our head

[00:44:05] But let that be your reminder

[00:44:07] Of why we prepare and why we prep

[00:44:09] It's not just for the chaos though

[00:44:11] Everything the hurricanes, the tornadoes

[00:44:13] The storms that are hitting everywhere

[00:44:15] Have you seen what's going on

[00:44:17] In the south and the midwest

[00:44:21] This is what happens

[00:44:23] This is why we prep

[00:44:25] We want to be able to give ourselves

[00:44:27] The security blanket

[00:44:29] Because in a blink of an eye

[00:44:31] A tornado or storm

[00:44:33] Can take it away

[00:44:35] This is why we make sure

[00:44:37] Each of our kids and ourselves

[00:44:39] Have easy bags. This is why

[00:44:41] I throw all the storm drills

[00:44:43] And everything my kids made them put on their

[00:44:45] Backpacks when bad weather hit

[00:44:47] Because that could be their lifeline

[00:44:49] That could be the difference between

[00:44:51] A little bit of comfort

[00:44:53] And calm in all of the chaos

[00:44:57] So I do appreciate everybody

[00:44:59] Taking the time today

[00:45:01] I apologize for the rant

[00:45:03] But again, I'm sorry

[00:45:05] And not sorry at the same time

[00:45:07] I hope everyone has an amazing weekend

[00:45:09] Get out there

[00:45:11] Have fun
