You're listening to PBN. You will pay us back the stability. Good morning, PBNers. It's Jayford here with Phoenix Survival. As you see, it is early. I'm kind of awake. No hot water or tea this morning, but it has been a long moment. I had quit podcasting for a moment because Prepper Camp was coming up and then trying to recover from Prepper Camp and a stressful job. So I am here to just pop back in and speak with you a early morning is just woke up. The gray is gray and cardigan is holding because my comfortable house dress is not white where we need it for the chill that is actually in the air. So a lot has happened in a very, well, just period. A lot has happened. Uh, we are dealing with the fact that it is starting to get much colder in the mornings. We actually had an, uh, A moment there where our high was maybe a 50 to 60, which is terrifying, being that it should be a lot warmer until the end of October. So it might be a hint of what's to come. No telling. We have had predators around the property, and I wish there was a way I could share it on here. I am recording from my phone with my laptop next to mine. but I'll have to try to upload it maybe to my Instagram page. Woke up one morning, thought I heard something attacking the ducks. I jump up, run out here onto the porch to hear this god-awful sound, which, as you can hear in the background, the ducks are due west, and the sound was coming due east, and it was... Absolutely terrifying and realizing, oh no, it's pitch black out. I am not walking out in that darkness. It's not going to happen. Pretty sure it was bobcats. Bobcats make some interesting and strange sounds as it is. So it was well within that range. Once I post it, you can give me an idea of what you think it is. A few people said fox, but Christopher has owned fox. It was close, but not quite there yet. And then three nights ago, he stepped out on the porch, which we have actually put a gate up on the porch to keep the groundhog from getting to certain plants up here. And he heard a deep, rumbly growl. But when I was getting more information, he said it sounded like it was growling as it was breathing. And so it was so it's like, OK. Most likely bear, which we do have bear in the region. We do have bear in the area. Very close. Bear is everywhere in this part of Western North Carolina. So it is not out of the realm of possibilities. So we'll see from there. Now, on the homestead, I have to... I've gotten two new roosters added to the flock. A friend had too many, so... They're not up for processing anytime soon. One of them actually is going to definitely be a great new blood for the flock that we have. So that'll make it easier on removing some of the ones that I have sitting in the coop that are ready to go. With that being said, besides that, I should grab this, but the glow on it earlier made me look very spooky. So I wasn't trying to add to the terror of Mornin' Jordan. let me, so I did want to mention, there's been a lot going on in the world outside of us. Um, and there's the talk of a, of the truckers protests. Don't know how that truth that is. I've talked to a few of my trucker friends who have even said it is talk. Um, there are certain corporations who are trying or companies who are trying to really get a lot more people on board to try to make a bigger impact. So I've had friends reach out asking if I'm concerned about the supply shortage that could happen. Again, as far as I know, it's just talk. Let me. I'm trying to pull up where the market is sitting at because silver has... Been low. Silver jumped for a minute. Thought it was going to hit $ 70 again. And then dropped back down to $ 62, $ 63. We hit $ 50 something not too long ago. So right now silver is at $ 64. 42. So $ 64. 42 per ounce. That's where market closed at. No clue where it's going to open. Gold is at $ 4, 286. and 20 cents per ounce, platinum, palladium. I'm seeing a lot more platinum and palladium pop up on the, on the precious metal market more than I have in the past. People are snatching up one, two thousands, one, two hundreds, one, five hundreds. And it's very interesting to see where the market could go. Copper in the precious metal area, even though copper is, you know what let me pull up what the market is on copper so here's the thing copper is not worth very much in the sense of you buy it by the pound but in the precious metal area we're seeing a huge influx of copper copper bullion copper coins copper which is actually currency backed in certain foreign countries we're seeing premium high art colorized copper so in the precious metal world copper is taken off and people believe copper could be the next trade value as far as precious metals i'm not huge on copper i do have copper because for those of you who know i am a bit of a copper hobbyist and uh Oh, hold on. I see here that there is a message. And there we go. Oh, good morning, Native Flows. Good morning. I'm so sorry that I just now saw that. My apologies. It's great to see you, hon. It is actually a little chilly. I should have brought my tea out. So right now, with the current... market it is only six dollars and seventy cents per pound which is interesting because in the precious metal world we are seeing an ounce of copper go for just as much if not more the collectible stuff i actually have a five ounce copper that is going for about 35 35 dollars for the design and what it is now So technically copper should be about 42 cents per ounce. You can Google all this. You can take a look at this. I'm actually half tempted to hop up and show you some of the copper. It is, you know, it's interesting. They make colorized copper, just like they do colorized silver and colorized gold. And it is in a collector standpoint worth its value. But in the world of trying to sell it, you're not going to get what you paid for it. Now, There are suspicions amongst the precious metal department and world that copper is going to boom in the sense that like everything else, the price is going to skyrocket. How, what does that mean for us? Hey, good morning. Hi, the common sense practical prepper. Thank you. Good morning. I figured I'd get on early because with national preparedness month, um, James is doing a podcast every day, which I think is fantastic. I wish I had that kind of time, which I just need to make time for it. I was actually up since about five, so I almost came on sooner, but truth be told, I didn't want to sit on the porch in the dark after the potential bear. Call me a weenie. I am okay with that. I live in the middle of nowhere. God forbid I do keep a pistol next to me or I have to bring out the rifle. That's just how we live. I digress. Let's see. But yes, so we are seeing the carpet, uh, copper market just take off. Um, there is a design that I absolutely love because I'm nerdy and I like the world wars, I like history, and I'm a bit dark in my style in the sense that, well, prime example. Let's see if I can set this down with breaking it and show you what I'm looking at. If this gives you any idea, this is a planter. I am a school girlie. So a lot... I'm trying to reach... A lot of my style is more gothic-esque. I don't know. Dark academia? I don't know what they call it now. So I like this one type of design that is called the Warmonger. And it is a death holding a soldier during one of the world wars. I believe it's actually World War I with what he's wearing. And Those designs, a kilo of that design goes for over $ 250, which is absurd for copper. But people collect them. People buy them. People stock them up. And people are stocking copper like they're stocking silver and gold. Do they hold the same value? No. Could they potentially? Yes. And I'm fighting trying to have the hiccups. So if you hear me, hiccup. Oh. I don't know what happened here. You know what? I don't care. Google is trying to do all sorts of things, and I don't even like to use Google, so I don't know why it even popped up on my computer. Oh, well. Hey, Diane. How are you? Good morning. Oh, see? Common Sense Prepper, here we go. You got a fan base. We're all fans. Truth be told. If you have met him... Good people. Everybody's good in here. It is chilly. I don't like being cold and I'm actually chilly. I don't know what the temp is. I might, I might have to take this in. So we're going to see a lot more fluctuation in all of the markets. We've already seen that food has gone up exponentially. Um, to the point that gas is even at an absurd high in my area. If we're lucky and I have to drive a ways out, I can find it for $ 4. 09 driving across state lines. I did find one place right on the state line that was $ 3. 85. God forbid, that was miraculous. But gas is like $ 4. 23 and up in quite a few places. $ 4. 19 is about the regular price. That I can find on the low end. Don't know what's going to happen there. Here's to hoping gas goes down. Not holding my breath. Because it usually goes up around the holiday seasons as well. So. We shall see where it goes. As far as what's going on here on the homestead. It has been such a chaotic summer. That. Yeah, the garden bed got built. It did not get fully filled because it was just too ungodly hot to carry barrels of dirt a half mile across to it. It just, it was just too much. So that is, we have our goals set up for what we're going to do this fall and how we're going to handle it this winter. Banana plants have taken off beautifully. Absolutely beautifully. I look down because... They're down the ways, but no fruit. You know, it's been an odd year for gardening to the point that I am about to restock up on a bunch of seeds from my favorite place because this year I had some seeds, but not as many as I would have liked. I've saved some seeds from the plants that I did grow from my original seed. I did make the mistake of having quite a few pre-seeded plants. Oh, alarm clock. And I'm finding out more and more, we, you know, I hear terrible and great things about Bonnie plants, but knowing that Miracle-Gro owns Bonnie plants and now owns Black Cow, um, kind of changes the whole gardening industry. It's kind of like the fact that Unilever bought out quite a few food items or a food company. What was it? Um, McCormick. They bought out McCormick, which is seasonings and spices. And so we are at the point where people have had an overabundance of things, jalapenos and tomatoes, and the tomatoes are on that verge where they're starting to get a little sad looking. So in our house, I'm actually not canning them because I don't have enough to can. I am actually dehydrating and powder in them. So I have tomato powder to add to soups and stews. We do pickled jalapenos, but we are now at a point we don't need more pickled jalapenos. So I'm going to dehydrate those and use those as a additive into seasoning as well. So in our house, our dehydrator has been going on stop. With the market increase, My mushrooms aren't going to produce anything until next year. The one set of mushrooms I had just unfortunately didn't take. And sometimes that happens. The environment's not just right. So with that, I have been buying and stocking up on mushrooms. And we all know mushrooms are not super shelf stable. So again, we dehydrate. And I will end up doing another bulk buy in the next few weekends of an overabundance of certain things or mushrooms or onions or garlic. And I will dehydrate and put them away because having those available will make all the difference. For example, we ran out of onion until recently when I could go get more onion. So we had powdered onion. We had dehydrated and minced onion. And all of those things are things that we use long-term in our household to try to make things last. We don't know where the economy is going to go as we see. I mean, what's the same? God, I miss when gas was 85 cents a gallon. That sounds like a foreign statement now. When you think about how long ago it was, even though it feels like it really wasn't that long ago. And I remember when gas hit 96 cents a gallon and my mom was saying, oh my God, gas has gotten outrageous. Look where we're at now. We're paying 419 a gallon. Holy cow. What's that say? Actually, those of you who are watching and in the chat, if you don't mind, tell me stuff that you're seeing an increase on or what you're doing to try to stave this increase. Because for us, it is now a matter of, oh, I didn't check the temp and it's chilly enough. I think my plants are fine, but it's now getting to a point I'm going to have to start watching and considering how I am going to winterize my plants. with the fact that one of my greenhouses was, two of my greenhouses were pretty much destroyed. So now what is your tip for fixing a greenhouse that the outer casing has been broke? I'm thinking about doing black plastic and doubling it and then throwing blankets over it for those days that it really drops. But I don't know. What would you do? Oh, how would you go about Fixing your mini greenhouses. And what ways would you go about it? Because. And there's James calling. I am live. So if anyone knows where, how to get, you know what? Hold on. Hold on. Let me let him know. I'm talking to you. God bless having multiple apps across devices. Because having a phone instead of using the laptop... Who? It removed it from my computer. Well, shit. Hey, uh, common sense prepper. Common sense practical prepper, my bad. Can you message James and let him know I'm live? Or somebody. That has been something else. I'm going to digress for a second. I heard a limb snap over there. And we have been dealing with, of course, the. We've been dealing with... Thank you, darling. We have been dealing with The squirrel. Sorry, my brain keeps stopping. I am not at full force today. Transitioning from a job that has you up until midnight to. back to an early morning shift is a rough transition. So this last week has been interesting. We have our squirrel. There are quite a few fox dens around here. I've noticed that we've had an owl issue. I have to fix and repair some wiring this weekend on the chicken coop because it's My chickens have dug to the point that they are now forcing part of the fins out so they can escape. Um, my chickens are assholes. Um, my ducks are good. My three turkeys are amazing. And the fact that they're all together, it's not usually advised to have your turkeys with your chickens only because turkeys are much more susceptible and a little more, um, Yeah, turkeys are much more susceptible to illnesses that chickens can carry. And their system usually doesn't hold up as well. So turkeys can die a lot easier. Luckily, I have a very good healthy flock. The two new roosters that I gained are actually up here for a week for containment. So I know they come from a good clean flock. But to be on the safe side, I am quarantining them for another week before I transition them into a containment pen. down with the rest of my flock so that the other birds can get used to them. Because I have some mean hens who will try to kill even a rooster. And these are young roosters who just got their crows. So with that being said, I don't want to risk losing these two young males who could be potentially great breedings. To some old vicious hens that I have who are quite scary. Sorry. I have my puppy in the yard on the side. And then I heard something rattling down there. So this is how it is. It's been, everything's been on a constant move. We have lots of deer who come through, which I was surprised my deer didn't eat my squash plants. My squash plants, though, I ran into something I've never seen before. The soil is fertile. The soil is great. We loosened up the soil to make sure that the roots would have great digging into because it is a bit clay and parts. My plants never got bigger than this. And they were bonnie plants. And that may have been my issue because my seeds didn't do well because we had a chipmunk who liked to climb into my greenhouse and eat my seeds and and the sapling and the little sprouts of everything out of the pots. So that's where we ran into a fickle moment. So now I have to, when I reset at my greenhouse next year, I'm going to have to put chicken fencing around the entire thing before I put the cover over it just to keep the squirrel and the chipmunks out. Now we have wood rats. Um, I have not had to deal with it. Our neighbors miles away all have had issues with wood rats. This, last couple of years, knock on wood, we have not yet. Um, but it's coming. It always happens. But with the squash and, and this goes to show where I really don't want to buy, um, mainstream plants anymore. I want to stick to my three trusted sites and try to only get my hands on plants that are heirloom or, um, Actually, heirloom. That's my main concern is because these squash never got bigger than this. Like, no joke. If I were to carry you over, they are still no bigger than this tall. They flowered and all flowered at the same time. It had male flowers with female flowers. No cross-pollination, even though the bees were doing great. We had all of the great insect life that should have increased it. Nothing. I actually... Which garden girl? I need more luffa seed. I planted all of them. They took off. They have flowered beautifully. And then the flowers just drop off and nothing. Same with cucumber seed. Flowered beautifully. They're budding like they're going to produce something. And then just stalled. And everything has just stalled. So my elderberries, beautiful. My rosemary, my thyme, lemon balm, which I didn't plant lemon balm. I bought a blueberry plant two years ago and it's held up and lemon balm has taken off in there and I never planted lemon balm. So I'm not even mad about that though. Let's see. Tomatoes, I maybe had six tiny tomatoes out of 36 plants. So now we have to get our garden completed. We've got good soil that did not come from anyone from Miracle-Gro. It came from a beautiful part of the land, beautiful fertile soil. We are going to move over there. And hopefully it will produce next year for us because I don't know what the hell is happening here, but it's not what we're wanting. So we shall see. We shall see. Because I'm looking and it's like blueberries held up, no berries this year. Again, it was super, super fresh when I got it. I did get a little lime tree. I like citrus. I cook with a lot of lime. You can use it in the same way you do lemon. And I love to cook. So I wanted something to be able to have my own staple. But just for whatever reason, it didn't do... Our beans did great. Not enough to keep and eat, but enough to have twice as many seeds for next year to replant and grow. So this year, I was really trying to see how much I could do for the seed aspect to try to grow for next year. It would have been nice to have eaten more out of our garden, but. That's not the case. Purslane did amazing. I actually had purslane and lettuce come back from last year. I still collected seed for next year. My tower planter is always great for purslane, for lettuce, for stuff that you can easily harvest constantly. I'm trying to think what else. My turmeric is... been absolutely beautiful but next year i am going to put it in a container twice its size so it can really grow and flourish and i have some ginger in the house that's sprouting that i am looking forward into planting because again turmeric and ginger are huge huge constants in our household and we are always trying to expand but our main thing is is here on our on our little homestead I don't think I'll ever be able to be 100% self-sufficient. And that's okay. But I would like the majority of what we produce or the majority of what we have come from here. I'm not at a point where I can have sheep yet. It is a goal for down the road. But you are going to see me making a transition from, yes, I will still be crocheting with acrylic for some things, but we are trying to make the transition away from acrylics and polyester in this household. So I am slowly working on getting us to primarily wool, linen, or cotton. Now that in its own is its own financial endeavor. But I am trying to slowly transition out what I can. Because wearing plastic all the time isn't good for you. It can't be good for you. And don't get me started on the health industry. I'm 37. I put on a little bit of weight. I'm still not a bad weight for my size. My friends say I look great. But Would I like to lose about 10 pounds? Yes. Am I to the point of taking medication for it? No. And here's why. Everybody is on the GLP train. And I get it. If you're taking it, good for you. But please be aware of these side effects that these GLPs cause. They are not looking at the long-term effects of these GLPs. Okay? Manjaro, Zympic, there is... Is it Repatha or is that for bone? So some of these medications are great for people who are diabetic. And a lot of people are taking... them for weight loss because in all essence of the word, sorry, I can identify the bird. I don't know how to say it without cursing. They fuck up your stomach. And permanently. And there's a lot of things, women who are taking it, who want to lose weight, it's great. But a lot of women are getting pregnant while on the GOP ones because of the fact that they counteract birth controls. They are having side effects. And I'm just going to say it outright. That are called... It is... Oh, maybe I shouldn't say that one. They are having... vaginal dryness where it's destroying their body. It's destroying and people are becoming fully insulin resistant. You can go blind. You can, I mean, people, please, please consider what you're putting in your body. And I get, oh, I just did it for a few months. It's not a big deal. But we are still learning that the things that we did 70 years ago and the long-term effects that are happening from them. we are seeing that things that us as preppers had said were dangerous, you know, that were conspiracies are not conspiracies. So please just be mindful because in the medicine world, um, I'm seeing a lot of, a lot of counterintuitive things. So for example, I have a new primary care physician, love her to death. She is an amazing young woman. Um, and, amazing ob-gyn she helped us through our darkest time when we miscarried in march and i was like okay maybe she'll be great primary care a pcp she is but she's not of our mindset and and that's okay um she referred me to another doctor for some injuries i've had for a very long time and this doctor prescribed me an inset even though i said really didn't want to take this because of other health issues that it could cause additional problems. He's like, oh, it's fine. The worst side effect you're going to get is maybe nausea if you don't eat. That's a lie. This medication, and we counted it the first day to a fluke. Maybe it was something I ate. Maybe it was something I had or whatever. I spent the entire night vomiting with a headache so bad I thought my head was going to explode and dizziness and That laying down sent the room spinning. I was like, okay, it's a one-off. I attempt to take the medication again because I'm hurting from this past injury. And it does the same exact thing. Even with food on my stomach and everything else that I let them know that no. And then I'm looking up the side effects of this medication. It can increase blood pressure, which I have abnormally low BP, which is a blessing. Because with my migraine diagnosis, I'm already at a potential risk of stroke. Can cause stroke. Nausea, dizziness, and vomiting. Stomach ulcers and stomach bleeding. And I'm just like, what in the hell am I taking? And if the doctor says, I took a doctor on his word, that it just causes nausea and slight increased blood pressure. Not everything else that was listed. So that was an immediate halt and stop. What I was going to get to, though, is I do a lot of natural medicine. For those of you who know, I'm a pharmacy technician. I have been a licensed pharmacy tech for a long time, 11, 12 years. I don't even know. So with that being said, I've always liked to know what the equivalence is to our medications that we take on a daily basis. I have found with certain things that I have actually reduced my headaches or muscle pain or relieved certain issues in our house with herbal remedies. And I may have disclosed that to my PCP, which it's always a gamble. I had a PCP in Mississippi who was amazing and actually loved alternative medicine over a lot of prescription medicines. So with that being said, when she found out I do a small bit of wild lettuce and plantain and usnea in my morning tea, she advised that I stop because there is no FDA science behind it at all. Well, here's the thing. A lot of FDA is going to be for what's going to benefit pharma. And I've seen it. I've seen the prices. I have EpiPens for my anaphylactic reaction to soybean. And EpiPens should not cost as much as they do, but they do. Just like women's hygiene products, feminine products should not cost an arm, a leg, and whatever body part you want to list in that. It's absurd. But they do. So that is the industry. dying or an ailment, we're going to sell you snake oil. That's what it feels like. Now, I'm not going to say that there aren't medications out there that don't do good because there are some amazing modern medicines that do amazing things. But keep in mind, a lot of our pharmaceutical medications come from plant derivatives. And I've said it a million times and I've said it before back when the hurricanes hit the islands. And Carvedalol and certain heart medications were on back order because those islands grew a plant that was the main ingredient for heart medications. So what's that tell you? We are still plant-based on quite a few things. Sorry, my phone beeped. But that's where we're at. That And I'm probably going to get kicked off of YouTube my first day of pairing up my YouTube. But you know what? It's an alternative. I'm not telling you you have to do it. But having a secondary means or an idea of how something works is not a bad thing. Knowing that you can dehydrate your food or if you don't have, you know, you don't know how to can or you're not comfortable canning is an alternative. Eventually, when I grow up, I would love to have a freeze dryer. but I don't have that kind of money right now. And you know what? My dehydrator has worked for ages. So knowing these things, knowing where the economy is sitting, knowing how much gas is, knowing how much gold and silver is, knowing what's going on around you is going to be the biggest thing. Pay attention to what's going on around you. I paid attention to the fact that I planted those squash plants and they're still flowering. They're still flowering and they're not growing. And they were Bonnie plants. I will not buy Bonnie again. I am going to try a few different things, even if that means I have to start the seedlings in my limited space in the house or set up whatever kind of new setup. We know we're going to have to do the chicken wiring. That's what you have to do. Sometimes being a prepper is not easy. You know, it's not laid back. And sometimes it is. I'm one of those. I planted seeds and okay, let's see how they do. And that's how I take things sometimes. But now it's okay. I know from these and those that pre-potted sold plants aren't just not going to be viable for us. And if you got from yours, fantastic. I'd love to hear how y'all's did. I'd love to hear. I mean, actually, common sense prepper, practical prepper, are you still in here? If so, let me know what Did you see any changes that you, or see anything that you're making a changes for? I've noticed, which I have to reach back out to these folks, and I feel so bad. I took a mushroom class. I wanted to get the husband and wife involved on here. I need to get Goldbacks back on here again. But it has been a chaotic year, to say the least. And that happens. And so now I'm implementing means of getting myself back into track, on track, getting myself back into a system. Is it going to always work? No. But that's what we're doing. So for you, I kind of just rambled today. I missed y'all. Be vigilant and aware that times are going to get tougher. They always do. And this is why we prep. We don't prep to. I don't do it for the clout. I don't do it because I have a million viewers because I don't. And I've been podcasting for years. I prep to know that on those rainy days, I can feed my family. There's extra food in the pantry. So when times get tough, um, there's extra heat sources and in the house. So if the power goes out, extra light, extra batteries, I make sure they're charged. We have our security cameras. I have a UPS, uninterrupted power source for my internet. Sorry, I thought that was going to be a hiccup. I could feel it. I'm fighting the hiccups this morning. I don't know why. For my internet and my security cameras, now it only lasts 45 minutes. I eventually will get a much bigger one, so I at least get an hour or so. But, you know, having those options are there. We live in a modern world. Does not mean, though, I have to confine, you know, go 100% modern world. I like living in the middle of nowhere. I like the fact that nature is around me. I like the fact that I stay vigilant and not because I want to be scared, but because nature will always take over. It's just a part of it. Keeps me on my toes. Keeps me aware. Watch it. I make sure I watch where I step because becoming complacent is a big issue. I was. Trying to see what other plans I had going. I have wasabi. I have passion flower. So as a common prep, a common sense, practical prepper, he's on X watching us. We are streaming on X, uh, rumble and YouTube. We'll see how long YouTube lasts. I always seem to, I think we all here at PBN typically get ourselves in a little bit of trouble. My garden didn't do as well as last year. Very odd. I shot from my pantry. And often with higher... Sorry, a button blocked it out so I couldn't see. And often with higher food processing. Right. Right. So we have a few stores that we can get stuff at a lower price at. And that's where I go to do my bulk buying. I buy my meat in bulk. I process my birds. I would love to... get my hands on a Kunikuni American Guinea hog cross. I get where some are slower growing, but I love the taste. I thought we could get our rabbit enclosure finished, and we couldn't. We ran into some things, needed some supplies, and on a financial standpoint, I'm not going to break the bank until I have to, which we are... reusing certain items to try to get that fixed. So with the cooler days, it might be more apt for us to start doing it now because it got ungodly hot for a while. So our main thing is going to be how we can increase our protein source here on the homestead and then what I can do on the gardening aspect. I wish I had the space to have a little grow light and be able to continue growing during the winter. I don't. Eventually, I hope to save up enough to have myself a little greenhouse. So I have one by the house and then I have the garden. We'll see. We'll see how it goes. With an Asian needle ants, though, it's now a fun battle of how often I have to diatomaceous earth around the house and in garden beds and in the coops. So it is interesting. I have not seen too many more murder hornets since my last sting. So that's promising. But we are to the point of... What are you eating? She's eating my loofah. Gracie, leave my plants alone. So it binds down and it is eating it. Yeah, we didn't do well in our garden at all, as you heard. And so I don't know. We'll see. I'm not going to stress it. You're going to have lean years and you're going to have years of plenty and bounty. And it's just a part of it. So with that being said, though, keep an eye on the market. I mean, my gold and silver isn't very much. But the silver I have is for those days of Christopher gets rained out for a whole week and we're going to be tight. I'd rather have to sell silver than sell guns. Because our guns, our protection, are for our household, are for keeping us safe. And I'd rather have a little more defense than a little more silver. So it is something to consider of what are you doing for your household. Now, the whole clothing thing, I will still buy clearance. Would I like to fully get us away from certain things? Absolutely. But that is going to be a feat on its own. It's not something we can transition right away. So I will be comfortable with what we have. But I would like to ultimately get us away from acrylics and polyesters and synthetics. And that's just because it's essentially plastic. And wearing plastic all day is not always great for you. Hopefully soon, you'll see a lot more spinning from me, a lot more yarn, a lot more handmade goods. You know, fingers crossed. If there is anything you're interested in, please let me know. I do do custom orders. Right now, I have the chicken purses. I'm going to be doing more. And I'm going to be working on a lot of mittens and socks because, yeah, we need more wool socks. Sorry, my phone keeps beeping. I keep trying to see what it is, so we'll see. But I have just talked your ear off with no rhyme or reason today. I'm not too out of the norm. For the last 46 minutes, I imagine, though, James is going to be popping on with a live here very soon for his daily pop-in. With that being said, I'm not going to hold you any longer. I appreciate the viewers who have popped in and appreciate your time. So feel free to reach out to me. I am on Instagram at phoenix underscore survival. I am on Facebook. I have not posted on there. I do need to. I apologize. I'm still trying to figure out the whole syncing up thing. I'm not a huge Facebook fan, but I have it. So shoot me a message or email me at phoenix-survival at proton.me and let me know what you're doing with your prep and what you saw as far as a hard contrast because this was a hard contrast for us. And what your plans are going into the future. If you'd like me to share it on air, I'd love to and see where everybody else is. Or tell me what you think is happening with gas or the economy. I'd love to hear it. This is actually the most human interaction I get other than running into town maybe once a week for errands. But all right, folks, I appreciate you. I hope you have an amazing day. a great weekend and let me know how those, that Previn's going and what you're planning for the future. Or if you have any tips or suggestions for me to try here on the homestead, let me know. I might just be willing to try it and record how I did it just so we can see how it works. I'm willing to set up a few projects to see how it works. So let me know what you do. All right, folks, I appreciate you and I hope you have a great day. When you're off the grid or working in real winter conditions, the basics matter more than anything. Heat Force Pro was designed around a simple idea. One product doing more than one job. Heat Force Pro turns a single heat source into three essentials, providing warmth, a place to cook, and generating USB power through high temperature thermoelectric technology you can use for charging or powering a light source. It gets the job done cooking, charging, heating, everything from A to B. I mean it's a good using product for the outdoorsman for sure.
