It's fine. What is up TVN family. We are out here in the uh We are out here in the Kudszoo of North Carolina, and the Kudzuo is baking along with us here at Preppercamp twenty twenty six. It's a warm one. It's a warm one, but it's the vendors, man, and we got incredible vendors here. Let me take this toothpick out of my mouth before you yell at me. Some walking the grounds at the moment, just getting a look to see how everything's going. The crowds look great. A lot of people here, A lot of people showed up Prepper Camp twenty twenty six. Man, they came, they came, they came. We needed them to show up. They showed up at the new location at try On. As I mentioned, I knew this would be something of a high heat adventure and it is just that. Man, it is just that. Last night we played History Draw with Dave Jones, the NBC guy and his crew, and man, was that that was a fun time. That was That's a game. That's a game worth having, that's a game worth playing. We had a blast with it, We really did. We even it was so good that we wound up recruiting people who were just you know, on standby. You know, they were just bystanders, and we we recruited some people in that situation. It was really awesome. So I was super excited to get a chance to play that with the whole crew. It was us the Hathaway's Keith from the common Sense Practical Prepper. It was it was about Oh man, it was a great time. You'll see it before long, and if you see it, I'd highly recommend you buy it if you got kids in your life or you know, I mean, you don't even need kids though. To be honest, we had a blast. We had a blast playing it just ourselves. So yeah, no, something to consider, definitely something to consider. What what are the takeaways? I don't know. I haven't taught my class yet. I haven't done any cook any classes yet. I've been out of the news for like days. I have no idea what's going to President could be dead. I wouldn't even know it. It seems to be a consistent theme. You know, where is he? What do they have to sneak him out in today? But the yet location is beautiful. Man, It's definitely a battle against mother nature as per usual. But we've come equipped and we're prepared and it's a good thing. Oh there goes a little bass. There are bass in this pond. Okay, huh, not bad so, PBN family. Uh. I got some video this morning. I'll probably have some video later. I went and talked to all the vendors, a lot of great vendors, a lot of recurring vendors, you know, people we see every year. There is something to an event out in the wilderness and in the mountains. Though. That's nice, it's a nice thing. We're all hoping for rain a little bit, but also not hoping for rain because we don't want to deal with the booths getting wet and that whole thing. That kind of can be a pain. As you can imagine, the coffee sales are about wrapped up for the day because it feels like it's i'd say it's got to be close to ninety already, so you know, the disaster coffee side of the business is slowing down. Oh yeah, look at these bass. We got a little school of bass right here. Sorry, the fishermen in me is distracted by what's in the pond. It looks like a good time tonight, I intend on entering into solitude a bit. In all honesty, I think once I wrap up my class, I'll probably shut things down and head back for a quiet evening. You know, you start to figure out the things that are rare, the rarities of life, if you can take advantage of them, take advantage of them. Saturday night we do our big Prepper camp party, awards, ceremony, all that kind of stuff, and it is largely a party, So take the advantage hydrate. You know, this is where things like liquid IV are so effective. I mean, just you can't measure the importance of something like a like an electra like drink in a day like this, you know, particularly if you're at it all day. It's just a different thing, man. I Mean, it's just a you're you're dealing with a different sort of situation when it comes to the amount of sweat that you're losing, the amount of heat that your body's dealing with. Right, It's it's akin to the Appalachian Trail hike that the breaker. Oh look at that baby bass, Oh my god, he's tiny. He's food been the break of the Banksters and I did a break neck twelve was it? Twelve mile or six twelve mile twelve mile, yeah, twelve mile hike through the Appalachian Trail around this time, but overnight in the dark, and it was a mock bug out from his location to Dave Jones's location and the physical We did it from about I think it was about well, it was summer, so it was probably about nine six hours. After nine. Yeah, we did twelve miles and six hours. That was. That was pretty good considering we were going up a mountain, down a mountain, and back up a mountain and again. But I just you know, I know the value of the electro lights right from working out in the heat like this, but I I never really I don't work out with other people very often. So what happened is as we broke into our electrolight powders, the whole morale of the situation changed, you know what I mean. It was very clear. It was like the whole morale of the situation changed and all of a sudden boom, like we hit a wall. Not a wall, I mean, we rolled. We rolled the whole thing, despite this being covered in sweat, but we rolled the whole thing. And and I'd say it was probably about an hour to two hours left, and we kind of bonked a little bit, you know, I mean we were getting like tired and slowing down a little, and we stopped by a creek and shook up some liquid IV into our water bottles, and it was just instant, man, it was. It was clear that the body was turning down, like your capacity to keep pace. It was naturally turning that down, you know, even to the point where, like willing yourself to the highest level, you're still kind of less than what you were when you started. And as soon as we got that electro like mix in us, it was boom right back, right back in action. So sometimes those little preps, man, are the ones that make all the difference. Sometimes those little preps just really make the whole difference of the whole situation. I mean it really more. I'll be honest with you. You know, when it comes to prepping, it's like you think that you need a lot of gear, right, I need this in case this happens, this in case that happens, this in case that happens. When I have used my preps has almost always been like the preps that have stood out most to me in my career doing this have always been a single thing at the right time when you needed it most, you know, and it really changes the game. The bass are feeding on the minnows right here. They can't see me. I could just sit here and watch them. Dude, I would catch these fish like crazy. I didn't even bring my well. I don't think I want to be really sweating it out fishing, simultaneously running a booth, simultaneously preparing for everything else that we got going on. But all right, PBM, family, stay hydrated. I will. I'll check back in with you, don't you worry. Talk to you soon.
