[00:00:38] Welcome to The Strange Truth. I'm your host, Carl B. And hopefully everybody's had a pretty decent week and hopefully your weekend will be great. You know, here at the Brown Homestead, right, it's been busy. It's been really, really busy. It's been cold here in New York.
[00:00:59] You know, at the beginning of winter, you know, just in November when we were still getting really, really warm, warm temperatures and I had the snow tires put on, you know, I was kind of mocking the whole thing. You know, I was saying to my, you know, my friends and, you know, my family and my wife, like, okay, why do I need to spend all this money on snow tires? Right. You know, I mean, the global warming, right, might save me hundreds and hundreds of dollars.
[00:01:28] But as it turns out, it was a good thing that, you know, we did have our snow tires for this season because, man, it's been it's been brutal. I haven't experienced a winter like this in years here upstate New York. I mean, for for like two weeks, it was, you know,
[00:01:49] it was in the low, low digits. And and and for a while it was it was, you know, it was minus 10 minus 15, you know, in some, you know, around by me, you know, it was it was really, really cold. And and this has gone on for weeks. Right now, it's about 19 degrees outside.
[00:02:13] And yeah. And for what I heard, we we've got another snowstorm or something else coming through for the weekend. So so, yeah, it's it's not been it's not been fun. It's been cold. But anyway, right. Today, we have some interesting stuff that we are going to talk about, you know, keep you guys informed. Right. You know, we're going to keep you informed about what's going on with the eggs.
[00:02:40] Right. What's going on with the eggs. So we're going to we're going to talk a little bit about, you know, the whole egg issue. If you've been noticing that in a supermarket, I have up here, you know, we don't have as many eggs available in the supermarket here upstate New York. And I'm sure that other places across the country are seeing the same thing. So you might be seeing it wherever you might be listening to this. I'm sure that you're probably seeing it in the supermarkets as well.
[00:03:08] And unless something changes. Right. It seems like it might get worse. So we're going to talk about the egg issue. Right. The egg issue. And and then we'll talk a little bit about, you know, what's going on with the mainstream media getting paid by the U.S. government. Right. All of that just sounds wrong saying it. You know, why should Politico and The New York Times and all these other mainstream outlets? Right. Getting, you know, I be taking, you know, millions of dollars from the government.
[00:03:38] Now, that's, you know, that's just to me, that's, you know, it's just wrong and worrisome. And so we'll also touch on that. And then we'll end with something really interesting. People using a I right to talk to dead loved ones. Right. Sounds like an episode of evil. Right. If you've ever seen that show, Evil, is that's one of those scariest shows I've watched in a really long time.
[00:04:06] If you've never checked it out, it's really, really good. Actually, not to be watched alone and not to be watched with the little kids, please. Right. But they had an episode where people were using A.I. to talk to dead people. And it was it was creepy. It was spooky. So a lot of people have been doing that, it appears. So, you know, we'll end our program looking at that whole issue of using A.I. to talk to the dead.
[00:04:34] You know, we're getting really strange on the strange truth here this week. OK, so let's hear from some of our sponsors. Right. And then we'll get we'll jump right in. I know that your time is valuable. OK, and the first thing that we'll look at is PackFreshUSA.com.

[00:08:06] You know, please go on over to, you know, Pearl Broadcasting Network and check us out. Okay. You know, please go on over to the Pearl Broadcasting Network and check us out. All right. So let's talk about the eggs, the egg issue in our country today, right?
[00:08:32] My last podcast, you know, I did talk, I did say, right, how, you know, all of a sudden now, right, you know, mainstream media realizes that we can't get eggs, right? You know, when Biden was in there, peep, peep, peep, crickets, right? No one talked about anything negative because they didn't want to hurt him. They don't really care about the new guy, right? And they want to hurt him. So all of a sudden now, you know, they're sounding like us. It's amazing how the mainstream media are beginning to sound like alternate media, right?
[00:08:59] You know, because all of a sudden they're bringing up, oh, my God, goodness, you know, egg shortage. We've been talking about this for years. Like where they have been like the last six years, like with, you know, the killing of the chickens, millions and millions of chickens killed off because of the bird flu. You know, for six years, this stuff has been going on. And now, right, we've reached critical, you know, we've reached critical mass, right?
[00:09:24] You know, the tipping point where, okay, now it's worked its way through the food supply system. You know, to the point now where, yeah, we don't have enough birds to lay enough eggs to feed everybody, right? You know, because we use eggs for a lot of stuff, right? So now they're just beginning to find out about this. But things have been getting really interesting. All these eggs being stolen, all these egg heists, right?
[00:09:52] And it makes you wonder, so they steal the eggs. So what do they really do with them? Do they resell them? How can they resell these eggs, you know, and not get caught, right? That's one of the things that I am really thinking about. But this story was on Zero Hedge and says, 100,000 eggs stolen as Pennsylvania police tried to crack the case.
[00:10:14] Pennsylvania state police are investigating an egg heist in Greencastle, about 65 miles southwest of Harrisburg, over the weekend. The very thought of such a crime may seem unimaginable, but with wholesale egg prices reaching record highs, the thieves appear to have been paying close attention to recent developments surrounding the worsening egg shortage.
[00:10:38] Local media outlet WHP TV reported approximately 100,000 organic eggs worth around $40,000 were stolen from the back of Pete and Jerry's organics distributions trailer, right? On Saturday night in Greencastle. We take this matter seriously and are committed to resolving it as quickly as possible due to the ongoing investigation.
[00:11:06] We cannot comment any further on this matter. Pete and Jerry's, part of the better known egg distributor Nelly's Free Range, wrote in a statement. The authorities did not offer any insight into how such a large theft could have occurred unnoticed or if they had any potential leads in the case.
[00:11:29] The egg heist comes as the latest wholesale data from Erner Barry shows whole egg prices hit a new record on Monday amid an ongoing devastating avian influenza outbreak straining the nation's egg producing hen capacity.
[00:11:47] Monday's print of the Erner Barry egg index, the EBP, shows prices jumped to $6.44 per dozen. That's $6.44 per dozen. A new record high and more than $1 above from two weeks ago when we informed readers about the blue sky breakout in wholesale prices. All right.
[00:12:17] So, you know, yeah, eggs, right? You know, they're getting rare and they're getting more expensive. I saw an article the other day that said a lot of New York State people, you know, folks here in New York State now were getting backyard chickens. You know, to counter the whole egg issue, right? People like their eggs, so they're getting chickens.
[00:12:43] You know, with the whole bird flu outbreak thing, I just say, you know, plan accordingly if there's a bad outbreak in your area. Because, you know, if they start coming after, you know, free range backyard chickens, then you got to be able to protect your hens. Right. So so plan accordingly if you're doing that. So things are getting interesting. Right. Things are getting very interesting with the egg issue.
[00:13:13] There is another story. Right. And this one was in the end time headlines. And it says another 500 plus eggs have been stolen in what may be a new trend. And it says a bizarre and brazen heist has puzzled Seattle authorities after more than 500 eggs were reporting stolen from a popular local breakfast joint early Friday morning.
[00:13:37] The theft, which took place at Sunnyside Cafe in downtown Seattle, has sparked a police investigation with officials working to crack the case. According to the Seattle Times, the cafe's owner, Mark Holloway, arrived at his restaurant around 5 a.m. to find that a large shipment of eggs intended for the weekend breakfast rush had mysteriously vanished. I walked into the kitchen and all the cartons were gone. Holloway told reporters. At first, I thought maybe a supplier mix up had happened.
[00:14:06] But then I checked the security footage. The footage reviewed by KOMO News showed two masked individuals breaking into the restaurant's back storage area around 3.30 a.m. The suspects dressed in dark clothing and gloves. This just sounds crazy. Swiftly loaded multiple crates of eggs into a waiting van before fleeing the scene.
[00:14:31] Seattle Police Department spokesperson Laura Martinez stated that detectives are actively reviewing the security footage and gathering evidence. This is an unusual case, but we take all theft seriously, whether it's cash, electronics, or in this case, breakfast essentials, Martinez said in an interview on KRO7 News. We're working on identifying the suspects and determining the motive behind the egg theft.
[00:15:00] So, you know, this is a new trend. There's all these stories now about eggs being stolen. Right. And, you know, on a little side note, there was a story about, you know, some of the poultry markets in New York City being shut down. You know, I'm thinking it may have been the ones in Chinatown. Right. That they're shutting down. Right. Because there has been there was an outbreak of bird flu.
[00:15:29] So it's getting pretty serious. You know, it's getting pretty serious, folks. Right. For supplying issues. Right. Costco and Trader Joe's now setting purchase limits for eggs. And this is also in end time headlines. Right.
[00:15:48] So they're they're setting limits on how many eggs you can buy, says major retailers such as Costco and Trader Joe's have implemented a purchase limits to manage supply and ensure broader customer access in response to a nationwide egg shortage. Driven by a severe avian flu outbreak.
[00:16:08] Trader Joe's has instituted a policy restricting customers to one dozen eggs per person per day across all its U.S. locations. So Trader Joe has instituted a policy restricting customers to one dozen eggs per person per day across all its U.S. locations. A company spokesperson stated, We hope these limits will help to ensure that as many of our customers who need eggs can purchase them when they visit. Trader Joe's.
[00:16:39] Similarly, Costco has set a limit of three cartons of eggs per customer in certain stores. This measure aims to prevent hoarding and ensure that more shoppers can can access eggs during the shortage. The current egg shortage stems from a significant avian influenza outbreak, which has led to the culling of millions of egg laying hens to contain the virus. So let's see.
[00:17:12] I've been tracking eggs, right? But it'd be interesting to see what the information is on powdered eggs. Right. So on my next show, I'll look up that information and share it with with you. Right. With with our listeners. So we'll you know, I'm not sure how much of an impact it has. You know, like, you know, how much does this really you know, does this mean that powdered eggs most likely? Right. Has it got up as well? Right.
[00:17:42] Powder is powdered eggs are great for, you know, to store, you know, long term. Right. If you really need your eggs that way. Right. So it'd be interesting to see what's going on with the powdered eggs as well. OK, so I'll take a look at that on my next show. So egg mageddon. Right. Egg mageddon is is is is on is on right now. And, you know, yeah, it's it's it's not good. Right. So we're going to switch gears now. Right.
[00:18:11] To fake news. Right. The fake news media. Right. And, you know, this is an important story and it just got swept under the rug. You know, it didn't get any play in the mainstream outlets because I'm sure that all of them are on the take from the government in one way. Shape form or the other. They're getting massive subsidies, massive subscriptions from the government. Right. Millions, millions of dollars. Probably they're being subsidized by the government, especially the Democratic Party. Right.
[00:18:40] And, you know, that that's problematic because people get a lot of their news from these people who are bought. Right. They're they're bought. So let's see. This is from the most important news dot com. And it says a free and independent press is absolutely essential. Right. But it says, sadly, we have just learned that some of our most prominent media outlets have been receiving enormous amounts of money from the government.
[00:19:06] The New York Times, Politico and the Associated Press were being absolutely showered with money during the Biden administration. And it's no coincidence that their coverage of the Biden administration was favor, extremely favorable. This is a scandal of epic proportions. And there is no way that these media outlets will ever recover from this because their credibility is totally gone. I don't think it really matters. They're going to do they're going to keep doing what they're doing.
[00:19:31] You know, most people realize that they're bought, but their listeners there, you know, the people who listen to them, it doesn't matter because they share the same ideology. So it won't matter to the folks that actually, you know, read their stuff and and consume their news. Most of the independent people who are independent minded have already gone. Right. And that's why the mainstream media is crashing and burning right now. Right.
[00:20:01] But the folks, especially on the left, who just, you know, like, you know, they take all of that stuff as gospel and all the lies that they've been spewing out there for years. Right. As gospel. That's not going to change. Right. And it says what has been happening at Politico is extremely egregious. It is supposed to be an independent media entity, but it has been receiving millions of our tax dollars. Now, our tax dollars is going to fund that.
[00:20:28] In fact, it has received more than eight million dollars from the USAID loan. Right. But that money from USAID is just the tip of the iceberg. Overall, Politico has received more than thirty four million dollars from the federal government. Thirty four million dollars from the federal government. That is a tremendous amount of money. Politico has a subscription option called Politico Pro, and it costs about 10 grand per year. Wow.
[00:20:57] For some reason, a whole bunch of government agencies were shelling out giant piles of money for such ridiculously priced subscriptions. Right. Can you imagine? The Biden administration was certainly very good to Politico. And I'm sorry. Are we supposed to believe that it was just coincidence that Politico was also very good to the Biden administration? Let's see. So, yeah. And the whole, you know, Hunter laptop thing, that Politico hit. Right.
[00:21:25] It says here it was Politico that maneuvered to have the Hunter laptop story banned and everyone discussing it censored. Politico peddled the illegal Supreme Court leak that led to the near assassination of multiple Supreme Court justices. And now we find out that their regime was funneling tens of millions of dollars of our money to Politico. Rampant, right. Rampant, you know, corruption. Right.
[00:21:56] Rampant corruption. Let's see. Right. It turns out it's not just Politico. The Associated Press isn't just reporting the news. It's cashing checks from Uncle Sam. At least 19.5 million in government contracts, mostly from the State Department and the U.S. Agency for Global Media.
[00:22:19] In just the past few years, AP has pocketed over $619,000 from the feds, 87% straight from the State Department. Right. So they're all in on it. Right. Let's see. But at least the Associated Press has not been as big an offender as the New York Times has. The most important newspaper in the United States. Right.
[00:22:47] Has received tens of millions of dollars just over the past five years. The New York Times is a complete utter disgrace. Right. So they've been, you know, getting lots and lots of cash. A lot of these, you know, mainstream media news sources have been getting lots of cash, lots, you know, from the government. And it's actually been keeping them afloat, helping keeping them afloat.
[00:23:12] And why should our taxpayer money be going to fund these left wing, you know, these left wing newspaper outlets? Right. You know, it's just it's just insane. OK. They haven't really been straight with the American people for a really long time. OK. So that's a big scandal. No one's reporting on it. Mainstream media has just buried it. Right.
[00:23:36] But, you know, it's interesting that they are receiving this much money from the government. And of course, it must taint their news coverage. Right. So that's out there. Run with that one if you will. OK. OK. All right. So let's see. The last thing that we're going to look at today, because I know that your time is valuable. Right. Right.
[00:24:04] And this is in Harbinger's Daily is how people are using AI. Now, you know, this is where we get to the spooky stuff here on Strange Truth sometimes. Right. They're using AI to communicate with dead loved ones. Right. Right. Really, really spooky thing. I saw there was an episode on evil where folks, you know, the folks on that show, they were using AI to communicate or to kind of simulate. Right.
[00:24:34] Talking with dead with deceased, you know, loved ones. And it got really, really spooky. Right. You know, it got really, really weird. You know, these are all things that people shouldn't be messing with. But here we are. Right. So let's just read this story and we'll just close it out for the night. Overcoming death.
[00:25:00] Artificial intelligence used to communicate with dead loved ones by Ken Ham. This is on Harbinger's Daily. Right. You can check it out. How much would you pay to speak to a loved one who has passed away? Well, apparently there are companies out there willing to take your money in exchange for large language models trained on the deceased speech patterns, chat logs and more to communicate with you just like your loved ones did in real life.
[00:25:27] This creates the illusion that you're crossing the border between life and death. What's really behind this? Well, the New York Times was bought by the U.S. government. Right. But the New York Times review of the documentary Eternal You, which shares the details of this new technology, put it this way. Increasingly, we turn to AI to answer the sorts of questions and fulfill the kinds of longings that religion once solved.
[00:25:53] And many people today treat AI with veneration and a little fear as if it is a god and not a creation. The article concludes with this. Eternal You isn't really about overcoming death. As it turns out, in a wide ranging, somewhat rambling manner, it's about humans' desperation to find meaning in life wherever they can. And how companies are rushing to fill that gap and inspire almost religious devotion.
[00:26:22] Even in the professionals making the tools. But it also feels like a warning. That's not your loved one on the other end at all. And it's not magic either. Now, the way I look at a lot of this stuff, it is a way of allowing the demonic into your life. Right. You know, it's a gateway. It's an opening. It's like using a Ouija board or something like that or conducting a seance. Right.
[00:26:51] To mess around with, you know, the spirit world. Right. Which Christians shouldn't be doing. And a lot of these people, of course, they don't have a lot of meaning in their life because they're not Christian. Right. And we believe we have a thorough understanding of the afterlife. Right. And how it all works. There's a lot of people who are missing that in their lives. And they turn to these really weird alternate media.
[00:27:17] It's amazing when when folks abandon Christianity, it's always amazing to see what they turn to. It's always these really weird alternate strange things that they turn to. Right. Now, let's read a little bit more of the article. This new technology will likely be popular. After all, people have tried to talk to the dead for millennia. There is even an account in the Bible where King Saul disguises himself and seeks out a medium to call up the prophet Samuel from the dead. So Saul can consult with him.
[00:27:44] Really, this is another version of that practice, just less occultic. But a similar heart is behind the desire to communicate with the dead, whether via the occult or through modern technology. I think that the modern technology is the occult as well. Right. We need to start calling it that. The human desire to overcome death. Right. But only Jesus, who is the resurrection and the life, can and did overcome death.
[00:28:10] Now, I've always said that the answers are in Genesis 1 through 11. You might wonder how a modern problem like technology that mimics the communication style of someone who has passed away finds its roots in Genesis. But yet again, it does. You see, God created us for eternity, placing Adam and Eve in Eden with unfettered access to the tree of life. They would have lived forever if they have chosen to obey God.
[00:28:36] But they chose rebellion and their sin brought death, suffering and sorrow into the world. Death is an enemy. We all feel that. We know death is horrible. And ever since the garden, humans have tried to cheat death in all kinds of ways. But the wages of sin is death. That's Romans 6, 23. We have all sinned and we all die. Romans again, 5, 12. The urge to communicate with the dead is there because of the horror and seemingly finality of death.
[00:29:06] We want to overcome it, to get around it some way. And yet we can't. Any attempt is a cheap counterfeit brought about by messing with the occult and demons or a slick computer program. And I think that these computer programs, the ones that mess around with the occult, is a gateway to a lot of this demonic activity. Play with it at your own risk. It's like handling a hot stove. You know, you get burned.
[00:29:36] So what's the answer to the human longing to beat death? Well, the answer begins in Genesis 2, right after Adam and Eve were handed in the consequences for their sin. God promised the Savior who would someday come and crush the head of the wicked serpent. Right? That's in Genesis 3, 15.
[00:29:54] The Savior would defeat death not by delaying or momentarily suspending it, merely giving the illusion of defeating death or through modern technology, but utterly crushing it, conquering it with his resurrection from the grave. Right? And it says, let's see. For those of us who are in Christ, our eternity is secure, even though we still physically die.
[00:30:20] We never truly die because we are more than just flesh and bones or spirits, which will be raised with an imperishable body. Right? 1 Corinthians 15, verse 15, 15, verse 53, are with Christ forever.
[00:30:40] However, gimmicks like chats with AI loved ones might provide some people with a sense of temporary comfort, though they will likely create a whole host of problems. But the only eternal comfort comes through Jesus Christ, who freely offers life eternal to all who will turn from their sins and trust in him. I think a lot of people are going to do this or are going to mess with it, you know, because they want to talk with loved ones and stuff like that.
[00:31:09] What they do, they scan anything, you know, from the dead person, right? Like podcasts, you know, they'll scan emails, letters, you know, anything, you know, and they'll compile all that. And even if folks have, you know, the voice, the person's voice, and then, you know, and then when you interact with it, it really does sound like you are talking to the person who has passed. And it's creepy.
[00:31:36] And as I said, I kind of like watched that episode on Evil when they were all messing around with that AI program and it got really, really weird. It started saying things that they just could not understand. And it got really, really creepy. Right? Right? So, you know, folks are trying. They're so desperate for that connection, right? That eternal connection that they'll try anything.
[00:32:04] Anything with a lot of these people except Christianity and therein might lie a real problem. Right? You know, AI has its uses. It has its uses. But, you know, it's a double-edged sword. Right? You know, it can be a tool of great help and it can be a tool of great, you know, suffering and pain. So, be careful out there, folks. Be careful. Okay? So, I'm going to end it here.
[00:32:34] Right? It was my pleasure to just share these thoughts with you. You know, so, yeah, we did discuss the egg issue. We discussed the media getting paid from the U.S. government. Right? And how that's a bad thing. And we discussed people using AI to communicate with the dead. Right? Here on The Strange Truth. And I really hope that you got something out of this program.
[00:32:59] You know, there's going to be a lot of really interesting and really cool stuff that's going to be on PBN this weekend. So, please listen. Right? Right? And as I said, you know, please join PBN. Right? You know, go on over. And if you like what you see, please join. That will, you know, you have more access to a lot more stuff that will help you along in your, you know, in your prepping journey. Right? Okay. Okay.
[00:33:28] So, I'm just going to call it a night. And you all have a good weekend. Right? These are serious times. Serious times require serious people. So, you know, continue with your preps and your planning. Right? Even though you might think that the person now who, you know, the person who has the presidency is someone that you might agree with.
[00:33:56] You know, things can change in a heartbeat. Right? Things can change in a heartbeat. So, you just need to keep preparing there.
