TIP: 3 Knife Concept

[00:00:10] Okay PPN Family, this is Dave Jones, the NBC guy and I'm coming at you with another concept,

[00:00:17] concept and tip.

[00:00:19] So the 3 knife concept.

[00:00:23] You need to always have 3 different types of knife.

[00:00:27] Remember I said right tool for the right job?

[00:00:29] Okay you need to have a big knife like a machete or a short sword and if it has a saw tooth

[00:00:39] on the back end of it that is great.

[00:00:42] And that goes on your get out bag, your get home bag, what you're going to beat through

[00:00:48] the brush because you could make a shelter with that.

[00:00:53] The number 2 knife is the hunting camp knife and it's a medium knife maybe a 5 inch blade,

[00:01:02] a nice thick blade so it doesn't break.

[00:01:07] You need to have like oh I wouldn't go with a 2mm, 5mm, you know a nice, this is a camp knife.

[00:01:16] This is a knife that you use around the campsite and if you had to you could build a shelter

[00:01:22] with it because it's that sturdy.

[00:01:25] The Mora is a great brand of knife Swedish, you know that fits this bill and then you

[00:01:32] need to have a third knife, a small knife maybe a neck knife and that is the knife

[00:01:39] you would skin game with and do things like that with.

[00:01:44] So that is the 3 knife concept.

[00:01:48] You need to have at least 3 knives each one to do a different job.
