[00:00:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you can only just suck.

[00:00:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh, PBN family, this is Dave Jones, NBC guy with another TIP.

[00:00:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I say another because I did like three TIPs in a row.

[00:00:18] [SPEAKER_00]: This is assessing your people.

[00:00:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You need to know the capabilities and limitations of all your equipment,

[00:00:26] [SPEAKER_00]: but more importantly, all your people.

[00:00:30] [SPEAKER_00]: What is your single biggest resource in an SHTF situation?

[00:00:37] [SPEAKER_00]: People, people, people, people.

[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_00]: It's the number one resource.

[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_00]: People lose sight of this and to assess your personnel,

[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_00]: you need to assess them on the physical merits.

[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay?

[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_00]: What they can do and what they can't do physically.

[00:00:57] [SPEAKER_00]: They're skills.

[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_00]: What skills do they have?

[00:01:01] [SPEAKER_00]: What skills don't they have?

[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And something I like to call heart.

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay?

[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_00]: This is...

[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Are they in it to win it?

[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Are they winters?

[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Complainers?

[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Are they the person that's going to drag everybody else down?

[00:01:24] [SPEAKER_00]: You have to have a PMS,

[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_00]: positive mental state when the stress is on.

[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And if that person doesn't, you rank them.

[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_00]: You rank them in order of these things.

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Someone may be super physical,

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_00]: great at doing something terrible mental state

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_00]: and have no skills.

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_00]: You put them out there chopping wood alone.

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't need an infection in your group of PMS.

[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So those three things you need to assess everybody on

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_00]: and remember, people are your number one resource,

[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_00]: not equipment.

[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Take care of PVA family and prep on.
