[00:00:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Hello everyone out there on Internet Radioland.

[00:00:14] [SPEAKER_00]: This is Dave Jones with your first tip of National Preparedness Month, Standardization.

[00:00:20] [SPEAKER_00]: This is a concept more than a tip but you want to standardize things across the board

[00:00:29] [SPEAKER_00]: amongst your family, amongst your group.

[00:00:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't stress this enough that standardization where you carry things, what you carry like

[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I talked about the multi-tool the other day.

[00:00:47] [SPEAKER_00]: If you all have the same multi-tool, you all have the same capabilities and if you

[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_00]: carry them in the same place, you know exactly where that person is carrying their multi-tool

[00:01:01] [SPEAKER_00]: and you can find it in the dark and pull it out and use it.

[00:01:05] [SPEAKER_00]: So standardization, that is your tip of the day.

[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Standardize weapons so you can interchange parts, interchange magazines, interchange

[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_00]: calibers.

[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't stress standardization enough.

[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Use the concept as much as possible.

[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Take care and prep on.
