[00:00:37] Good day, PBN family. It's a podcast kind of day.
[00:00:41] It's a day to be off the video camera for a change. I know it was nice just to be behind the microphone with the podcast audience.
[00:00:51] It's all good. There is a lot to be done and a lot that is doing and going on in the world these days.
[00:01:00] But truly what has me, I'm on the road, as you can tell, and I didn't buckle my seatbelt.
[00:01:07] So I'm getting told off by robots, by my cybernetic counterparts in the world.
[00:01:13] My phone tells me off, my car tells me off, everything.
[00:01:17] You know, we have this big dream that one day these robots are going to rule over us.
[00:01:21] Listen to me. I watch my son on his iPhone. It's here. It's already here.
[00:01:28] Okay? They just don't look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, so we don't understand it.
[00:01:33] They're not humanoid. And if they're smart, they'll never be humanoid because that would be too much of a threat.
[00:01:41] But look, I have the first remark on this sky in front of me.
[00:01:47] Okay? Because I was about to not leave the house this morning.
[00:01:52] I work from home the vast majority of the time.
[00:01:57] But I do like to leave because I think it's important for Dad to get the hell out of the house.
[00:02:02] Not even just for my sake, but for everyone's sake.
[00:02:05] Like, Dad, come on. Let us miss you a little bit.
[00:02:08] Like, my goal, you guys know, the long-time listeners, was to be around.
[00:02:15] And like all great plans, right?
[00:02:17] Like, there's always a hiccup. There's always a caveat. There's always a clause.
[00:02:22] And the clause in my great plan was people get sick of you.
[00:02:25] So you gotta leave.
[00:02:27] You gotta leave.
[00:02:29] You know what I mean?
[00:02:30] So I give my wife the house, give over the house to her on the Christmas break and depart for hours at a time.
[00:02:37] Being a writer, I'm lucky enough that I have several locales I can go to and do the things I need to do, work on the things I need to work on.
[00:02:46] But, you know, the sky is insane at the moment.
[00:02:51] The sun's coming up and it's split down the middle.
[00:02:56] Because a storm's rolling in later today.
[00:02:58] Okay.
[00:03:00] And on one side is this sort of, you know, I don't know.
[00:03:03] It's a frosty blue, high wispy cloud winter sort of sky.
[00:03:08] Which in its own right is beautiful.
[00:03:10] The high clouds, the chemtrails up there are catching the sunlight and it looks very nice.
[00:03:17] But then split right down the middle off to the right is this sort of gray blue ocean with pink highlights.
[00:03:25] Pink crests of waves.
[00:03:28] And it's, I don't know.
[00:03:30] For some reason, this type of sky, you've seen it before.
[00:03:33] You've seen, if you get up early, you've seen the sort of the grayish cloud that peaks.
[00:03:42] Very, almost the same as a wave or small waves.
[00:03:48] And each one of those small waves is sort of peaked with a, I don't know what it is.
[00:03:53] It's sort of like a tangerine sort of color.
[00:03:56] Beautiful, unbelievable.
[00:03:57] It could be a mountain.
[00:03:58] It could be a mountainscape up there in the sky.
[00:04:01] Something along those lines.
[00:04:04] Why am I talking about the clouds?
[00:04:07] I have a funeral to go to today of a young man.
[00:04:12] And a guy who, you know, no one saw it coming.
[00:04:16] It's one of those kind of things, you know.
[00:04:20] And I always remind you, and I know I do it ad nauseum.
[00:04:22] You guys probably get sick of hearing it.
[00:04:24] But, you know, nobody knew that he'd have a funeral two days, what is it, two days after Christmas in 2024.
[00:04:33] He didn't know.
[00:04:34] Family didn't know.
[00:04:35] He didn't know that this sky that I'm looking at right now would be barred from his view.
[00:04:40] And all sky from then on, you know.
[00:04:43] But this is madness.
[00:04:44] This is beautiful here.
[00:04:45] This is like, if Jesus came down from the heavens between these clouds, I wouldn't be that surprised.
[00:04:51] That's how beautiful the morning is.
[00:04:56] So enough gushing.
[00:04:58] Enough gushing over everything.
[00:05:02] Truth of the matter is there's a monstrous year to be had, folks.
[00:05:07] A monstrous year to be had.
[00:05:09] You know, I think, as I mentioned earlier, the landscape of civil unrest and political sort of warfare
[00:05:20] is really just about to kick off.
[00:05:23] You know, I think, I think it's a take matters into our own hands moment for Democrats
[00:05:29] and people who really hate this whole Donald Trump, Elon Musk, J.D. Vance alliance
[00:05:36] that has sort of taken root, RFKG, the whole, you know, the whole kind.
[00:05:41] And I really, you know, I think there was a moment when the collective, the base politic of the left decided,
[00:05:53] well, she can't win.
[00:05:54] She's not going to win.
[00:05:55] She never could win, even though we lied about it, even though we got the bumper sticker,
[00:05:59] even though we sent the money in.
[00:06:00] We know she can't win.
[00:06:01] She's never going to win.
[00:06:03] So we need a new battle plan.
[00:06:06] We need a new battle plan, you know.
[00:06:08] We need a new game.
[00:06:09] I mean, you look at what Biden's done with Syria.
[00:06:11] You look at what he's doing with Ukraine.
[00:06:15] And you can't help but think to yourself,
[00:06:20] is this all about leaving a giant wake of shit for the next administration?
[00:06:26] Commuting a thousand or so criminals.
[00:06:30] Oh, they only had drug offenses.
[00:06:31] Yeah.
[00:06:32] You knew him personally?
[00:06:34] Did you know him personally?
[00:06:37] So while I think at the personal level,
[00:06:42] you, me, you, your wife, you, your neighbors, that kind of thing,
[00:06:48] I do think 2025 is going to be monumental.
[00:06:51] This is the weird, like, juxtaposition of the world and the nation that we live in right now.
[00:06:58] I think for those of us who are on our self-reliance journey,
[00:07:03] our self-sufficiency journey, whatever it is,
[00:07:07] I think this is going to be a momentous year.
[00:07:10] I think you're going to do things this year that are going to blow your mind.
[00:07:13] I think you're going to do things this year that solidify all kinds of stuff,
[00:07:18] skills and food production.
[00:07:20] And I just, it's the kind of year it's going to be back of power, maybe.
[00:07:26] Because everybody's motivated.
[00:07:28] Everybody's motivated.
[00:07:29] These things are more accessible than ever.
[00:07:31] I really do think we are in like a perfect marinade for preparedness.
[00:07:39] And it's only going to be fueled by the chaos of the political.
[00:07:43] It's only going to be fueled by the moment that Donald Trump starts deporting people
[00:07:49] who would like to rape our children under bridges.
[00:07:52] And then we have to watch the crazy left wing get upset about it and say,
[00:07:56] yeah, break it up, families.
[00:07:58] Yeah, break it up, all the families.
[00:08:00] Like, we don't have families that get broken up every single day in this country, right?
[00:08:05] The same people that tell you divorce, divorce, divorce, divorce.
[00:08:08] If she looks at you the wrong way, divorce.
[00:08:10] If he says the wrong thing, divorce.
[00:08:12] If he can't read your mind, divorce, right?
[00:08:15] If she gains a little weight, divorce.
[00:08:17] The same people who tell you that are the ones that are going to cry buckets
[00:08:23] over breaking up families of people they don't know and who, you know.
[00:08:30] So you've got to be able to, you know, you've got to toughen yourself up for this.
[00:08:33] You've got to prepare yourself for this.
[00:08:35] You've got to see between the lines.
[00:08:37] You've got to recognize the BS when you see it because it's coming full force.
[00:08:41] It's coming full throttle for you.
[00:08:43] There's no stopping it.
[00:08:44] There's no preventing it.
[00:08:46] And, you know, it's here to stay, PBN family.
[00:08:49] You know, this...
[00:08:50] I'm not 100% sure what any of it means, really, to be honest with you.
[00:08:55] I don't know what the long-term effects will be.
[00:09:02] I really don't know.
[00:09:03] I don't know what the long-term effects will be.
[00:09:05] I don't know how effective all this stuff with Musk and Trump is going to be and RFK and, you know,
[00:09:16] the inner battles, the outer battles.
[00:09:18] Who knows what kind of a nation it's going to spawn off.
[00:09:21] We think it's going to spawn a better nation.
[00:09:23] We think it's going to spawn a nation that is, you know, more what you want in this life, right?
[00:09:32] More of what you want out of this lifestyle, right?
[00:09:35] Less sort of victimhood, more sort of, you know, stand on your own two feet, make it happen.
[00:09:42] Opportunity, fairness, the whole nine yards, right?
[00:09:45] And fairness in the real sense of the word, not fairness in the woke sense of the word.
[00:09:52] We just... we fundamentally cannot know, you know?
[00:09:55] We cannot know.
[00:09:56] And that's a tough one.
[00:09:59] That's a tough one.
[00:10:01] But what I do know...
[00:10:04] What I do know for sure, PBN Family, is that the cafe I was going to go to is closed.
[00:10:11] That I'm sure of.
[00:10:14] And what I have to do now is pull over and find out if it's opening late or if they're on a Christmas break.
[00:10:20] And trust me, they've earned it.
[00:10:22] So, rerouting.
[00:10:28] Rerouting to a new location.
[00:10:29] No, that's good, really.
[00:10:30] That is.
[00:10:31] That's good for them.
[00:10:33] That's good.
[00:10:33] I like when people take off.
[00:10:35] Do you like people when they take days off?
[00:10:37] I like that.
[00:10:39] I particularly like it when people provide an excellent service.
[00:10:45] And this cafe of mine, I love this place, man.
[00:10:48] They're always great.
[00:10:49] The music's great.
[00:10:50] The people are great.
[00:10:51] The customers are a little wacky because of the area.
[00:10:54] But the...
[00:10:56] You run into some things.
[00:10:58] Eavesdrop on some things, it'll blow your mind.
[00:11:00] But, um...
[00:11:03] I don't know.
[00:11:03] It's good to see people take a Sunday.
[00:11:05] It's good to see them take a...
[00:11:07] You know what I mean?
[00:11:07] Take days off.
[00:11:08] Take extended vacations.
[00:11:10] Shut the businesses down.
[00:11:11] It also makes me feel like they're doing good.
[00:11:15] You know what I mean?
[00:11:15] Like they're surviving.
[00:11:16] They can take some days off.
[00:11:19] I just spent many years of life next to business owners.
[00:11:25] And now I'm a business owner myself.
[00:11:27] You know, when I would work in these restaurants and the chef would be the owner.
[00:11:31] Like chef owner.
[00:11:32] You know what I mean?
[00:11:33] It's romantic and, you know, sort of really interesting.
[00:11:38] Chef owner.
[00:11:39] Oh, let's get a story written up about him.
[00:11:42] And you feel like you get a story written up about chef owner.
[00:11:46] And everything's set from then on.
[00:11:47] You know what I mean?
[00:11:51] And I just remember the sweating.
[00:11:52] The sweating.
[00:11:53] The nerves.
[00:11:54] Oh my goodness.
[00:11:55] I can't believe it.
[00:11:56] I don't know what's going to happen.
[00:11:57] Can I make it?
[00:11:58] Are we going to make it through the month?
[00:11:59] Are we going to make it through the year?
[00:12:00] Are we going to make it through the week?
[00:12:02] Can we make it?
[00:12:04] I never should have done this.
[00:12:05] Now I'm in debt.
[00:12:06] You know, all those kind of conversations you have when you're like sous chef under a guy
[00:12:10] who's a chef owner.
[00:12:11] And you're watching him.
[00:12:13] And you're watching him.
[00:12:15] You're watching the early days when everything's going well.
[00:12:17] You're watching when everything starts to fall apart and it gets ugly.
[00:12:21] The whole thing.
[00:12:22] You know, it's just one of those things.
[00:12:24] It's the reality of business.
[00:12:26] So it's nice to see a business that's got, you know, the ability to shut the doors for a few days
[00:12:31] and a little breathing room.
[00:12:32] It's good.
[00:12:34] It's a good thing.
[00:12:37] So now we're headed in the opposite direction of the beautiful sky.
[00:12:40] What else?
[00:12:41] I don't know.
[00:12:42] Like, you know it's going to be a political circus.
[00:12:46] You know all the greatest tricks and things are going to be applied in order to keep...
[00:12:52] Well, all the terrible and wonderful things that Donald Trump is going to try to do.
[00:13:06] It's going to really be a battle.
[00:13:08] And I think it's going to be...
[00:13:09] This is the interesting part.
[00:13:12] I think politically in 2025, we're going to see more of a match of wits than we are going to see a match of...
[00:13:20] Actually, it might not even be as much a match of wits as it is a match of...
[00:13:25] Or a battle of...
[00:13:28] I hate to say it because it sounds sort of like caveman, but...
[00:13:32] Who's tougher?
[00:13:35] Do you know what I'm saying?
[00:13:36] Like, it really does seem like one of those situations where it's like, who's tougher?
[00:13:41] Whoever is tougher is going to come out on top.
[00:13:43] It really feels that way to me.
[00:13:50] And, you know, Donald Trump is just far tougher and completely okay with hurting people's feelings and all that.
[00:13:57] And I know he'll have no problem sort of dealing with Chuck Schumer.
[00:14:06] You know what I mean?
[00:14:08] And the types of old and decrepit people who have, you know, made their unholy money and are content to fight the battle to a point.
[00:14:19] You remember those two, Chuck and...
[00:14:23] Who's the ancient?
[00:14:25] Who's the ancient lizard?
[00:14:27] The most ancient, the most high of the lizards.
[00:14:30] Nancy Pelosi.
[00:14:32] Chuck Schumer and Nancy.
[00:14:33] Remember they had that little sit down with Donald Trump and Donald Trump kind of...
[00:14:38] Kind of shut them both down.
[00:14:41] I think we're going to see a lot of that.
[00:14:43] Well, we may not see a lot of that, but I think the politics of the United States are going to be built on those kinds of interactions.
[00:14:54] Now, you know, Congress has to vote the way that it votes and all that kind of stuff.
[00:14:57] But I also think that an allegiance will form around Trump on both sides of the ball because...
[00:15:07] What's the other side?
[00:15:09] Leadership.
[00:15:10] You know what I mean?
[00:15:10] The leadership on the other side are like these old dragons.
[00:15:14] These old decrepit necronite dragons.
[00:15:18] You know what I mean?
[00:15:18] They're like...
[00:15:20] They're like rotten plumes of corrupted soul inside of a skin suit.
[00:15:30] You know what I'm saying?
[00:15:30] It's like...
[00:15:32] Everybody can see it for what it is.
[00:15:33] The up-and-comer.
[00:15:34] You can't tell me there's an up-and-comer in the Democrat Party that's watching a Chuck Schumer
[00:15:39] or Nancy Pelosi and going like...
[00:15:43] Yeah.
[00:15:44] That's what I want to do with my life right there.
[00:15:47] That's what I want to become.
[00:15:48] You know what I mean?
[00:15:49] That's exactly what I want to become.
[00:15:51] I want to become a Nancy Pelosi.
[00:15:54] Something like the Crypt Keeper.
[00:15:56] You know what I mean?
[00:15:59] No.
[00:16:00] There's nothing like that going on there.
[00:16:03] It's a dark and sordid situation.
[00:16:08] What really has me gripped...
[00:16:10] What I think we'll probably spend a lot of time on.
[00:16:13] What I think one of our focal points will be on is on this.
[00:16:17] Well, it's just...
[00:16:19] You call it the homeland attack.
[00:16:21] If you heard the Sean Ryan show, it was very alarming.
[00:16:24] You know, trained terrorists being ushered into the nation.
[00:16:27] Thousands of them preparing to commit some kind of attack.
[00:16:32] I always err on the side of these guys get gobbled up little by little by law enforcement.
[00:16:37] We don't really know about it.
[00:16:39] I could be wrong about that.
[00:16:41] You know, FBI, that kind of thing.
[00:16:44] I could be wrong about that.
[00:16:47] It's, you know, it's a nice dream.
[00:16:49] But I don't know if it's the real thing.
[00:16:51] I don't know if it's real.
[00:16:52] All I can say is that it feels good.
[00:16:55] When I say it out loud.
[00:16:57] It makes me sleep better.
[00:16:59] But the focus...
[00:17:01] The focal point on this sort of concept of this homeland attack in 2025 is...
[00:17:06] I think it's...
[00:17:07] Even if it's not...
[00:17:09] Even if it doesn't happen.
[00:17:11] Even if it gets thwarted.
[00:17:12] Even if now just saying it has spoiled it.
[00:17:16] It's sort of a rerun of the same old, you know,
[00:17:19] Radicalized Muslims looking to take over everything and subjugate everyone.
[00:17:23] You know?
[00:17:24] And that's what it is.
[00:17:25] And that's always going to exist.
[00:17:27] And that's like a fire that you beat back time and time again.
[00:17:31] And it burns, you know, brighter.
[00:17:34] And you got to beat it back.
[00:17:35] And you got to stamp it out a little bit.
[00:17:37] And then, you know, it just seems like this thing.
[00:17:40] It's always going to happen.
[00:17:41] It probably always has happened.
[00:17:42] We just didn't have the news apparatuses to see around the world to say, wow.
[00:17:47] I think there's a pattern.
[00:17:50] I think there's a pattern here.
[00:17:52] Right?
[00:17:54] So, you know, I like big events like this.
[00:17:59] I think they're highly motivating.
[00:18:01] They're definitely motivating for me.
[00:18:03] I like having a North Star that we could vote.
[00:18:05] Why are we doing all this?
[00:18:06] You know what I mean?
[00:18:06] Why are we doing it?
[00:18:07] Why are we taking it to the next level?
[00:18:09] Why are we doing this prepper fit in hell stuff?
[00:18:10] I can raise all the chickens I want.
[00:18:14] All the gardens I want.
[00:18:15] I can put solar panels in my yard.
[00:18:18] I don't need to hoist a kettlebell above my head 30 times in order to be self-reliant and independent.
[00:18:28] I would say that, you know, from my standpoint, that's 100% wrong.
[00:18:34] But at the same time, I understand your point.
[00:18:37] You know?
[00:18:38] You know, what threats like these remind us is that, you know, it could come, the day could come where you are tested mano y mano.
[00:18:50] Do you understand?
[00:18:52] For me, this is 90% of physical fitness.
[00:18:56] 90% of physical fitness and martial arts training for me is always one day it could be mano y mano.
[00:19:07] And you see, I'm not the type of guy who's overly confident, particularly about my physicality.
[00:19:13] I'm just not that type of person.
[00:19:15] You know, I don't look at someone and say like, oh, yeah, I'll tear him up.
[00:19:18] You know what I mean?
[00:19:20] I'm not an overly confident person in that regard.
[00:19:23] So what physical fitness does for me and boxing, training, martial arts, all that kind of stuff.
[00:19:31] Why it's so important to me and why it should be important to you is because it puts you in a place that sucks and you get comfortable there.
[00:19:44] And then when you get in that place in real life, you're not entering into some place you've never been before.
[00:19:51] You're entering into a place where you're comfortable.
[00:19:55] This is why endurance training is so important to me.
[00:19:58] This is why, you know, boxing training is so important to me.
[00:20:03] It's important.
[00:20:05] I want to have a leg up and know it.
[00:20:09] I want to know how far I can go.
[00:20:12] I want to know how hard I can hit.
[00:20:14] All those kinds of things.
[00:20:16] And it's not even that I want to.
[00:20:18] I have to.
[00:20:20] I have to have that reassurance in my head.
[00:20:23] I just have to have it.
[00:20:26] I want to step into a.
[00:20:30] If I have to have an altercation, I want to be in a very deep pool with someone.
[00:20:36] And what I mean by that is I want to know that I've gone to the bottom of this pool and I go to the bottom of this pool every week, you know, and how long can you hold your breath in the bottom of this pool?
[00:20:47] Because I do it every week.
[00:20:50] In other words, you lock up with somebody or you're in a fist fight with somebody or somebody has a knife, whatever the situation is.
[00:20:58] I want to know for sure.
[00:21:00] Because I do it all the time that I've got the strength.
[00:21:05] I've got the endurance.
[00:21:06] I've got the skills.
[00:21:08] And they may too.
[00:21:09] You never know.
[00:21:10] But I want to know that I'm in a place.
[00:21:13] Okay, here I'm in a place where we're fighting.
[00:21:16] And it's tiring.
[00:21:18] And I'm just as comfortable as I could be because I'm here all the time.
[00:21:23] You know, in the overall endurance of life, fitness helps everything, guys.
[00:21:30] You know what I mean?
[00:21:30] It really does.
[00:21:32] It just helps everything, in my opinion.
[00:21:35] We've had a breakneck couple days in my house.
[00:21:38] And I don't know.
[00:21:40] If I wasn't endured the way that I am, I wouldn't have probably been able to do all the stuff I've done in the last couple days.
[00:21:48] You know, we went to the gym last night so my kids could shoot hoops.
[00:21:52] And I was really not interested in working out at all.
[00:21:56] I brought all the swim stuff.
[00:21:57] I said, look, you guys will finish up.
[00:21:59] We'll go swimming.
[00:22:00] I wound up working out with my wife.
[00:22:03] Pretty hard workout.
[00:22:04] I was doing my kettlebells in Christ, actually.
[00:22:08] I was doing Turkish get-ups with a 35-pound kettlebell.
[00:22:13] And the Turkish get-up is, you know, it's a sleeper.
[00:22:17] It's a monster.
[00:22:19] It doesn't feel like you're doing a lot until you finish and then you're like, whoa, okay.
[00:22:23] Yeah.
[00:22:24] Yeah.
[00:22:26] If you want to live life to the fullest, if you really want to live life to the fullest, I really do think there's no better recipe than prepping.
[00:22:37] Really.
[00:22:38] Preparedness, self-reliance, and a focus on fitness.
[00:22:41] I don't see anything better.
[00:22:43] I don't see any better formula than that.
[00:22:47] But so all I ask of you out there who are listening and have not yet committed, commit.
[00:22:54] Like, go all in on this thing, man.
[00:22:56] Seriously.
