[00:00:17] A person who advocates and practices preparedness. One ready for any event that would disrupt their daily routine. That is a Prepper. Hello everyone out there in internet radio land, this is Dave Jones the NBC guy. Have you missed me? Did you miss me? Well I learned a valuable lesson.

[00:00:44] Don't let your wife clean up the office or you will never find stuff. So I found the phone. I thought it was me. I thought I put it in some place unusual and... She's calling to tell me let's go. So we have been all about selling puppies since we had puppies.

[00:01:12] Fifteen puppies. That girl of ours, Clover, is an overachiever. She almost set the record. The record for golden retrievers is 17. Yeah, so it's been kind of busy around the Jones homestead ever since... Well, 14 December is when she had the pups. Gosh, 15 puppies. Think about that. Feeding.

[00:01:42] And of course, mom, you know, only has 10 functional thingamajigs for her to feed her puppies. So we had to rotate them and it was every two hours. But these are the things you do as a homesteader, right? Oh, so... Crazy, crazy winter. Crazy winter weather and we're not out of it yet.

[00:02:10] I did want to mention, and I've been thinking about this for weeks and weeks... Dehydration in the winter time. People, a lot of times, do not realize how much they sweat when they're doing stuff outside. So dehydration is a real thing and you've got to really look at it in the winter time. You know, the summer time you'll sweat and you'll say, Oh yeah, I've got a drink.

[00:02:39] But in the winter time it can sneak up on you. So... So... Just pay attention to that. Get your liquid IV in you. And, you know, prep on. I... You know, after being off the air so long you would think I'd have lots to talk about. But... Gosh. Trump is in. He's doing a great job. And know this. Just because you don't hear from me doesn't mean I'm away.

[00:03:08] I am in the back channel constantly. And... We are planning some stuff that you'll hear more about. The Patriot Power Hour guys. They always put their prepper mouth where their money is. And... They do the thing. They test themselves. And... They have three exercises under their belt right now. So if you... Want to go back through the archives.

[00:03:38] You know, James should put together all three exercises and play them. Three... All three. You know, in a row. And just listen to the content that came out of it. Because it's... And I'm not sure what they're going to do to top the last one. Because... Well, I mean... We had talked about other things that we didn't get to. So maybe we'll do those other things that we didn't get to.

[00:04:09] And of course, I want to do the prepper games. Maybe get some sponsors. And have a competition. Ten preppers meet in an arena challenging their very existence. Yes, preppers. Yes. Yes. The prepper games. And, you know, have a celebrity panel of judges.

[00:04:35] Like Dr. Bones can judge, you know, the medical portion of it. And I know Tim McWelch. I think six-time best-selling... New York Times best-selling author on survival. He could judge the bushcraft and foraging. And, of course, there's going to have to be, you know, a weapons competition.

[00:05:07] Different weapons. And then, you know, a fitness. Fitness competition. So everything gets a score. And then whoever has the top score at the end wins. Wins the prepper cash of prizes that are put together by our sponsors. And, anyway, that's just the idea I had for when we were talking about prepper TV.

[00:05:37] You know, a reality show for preppers, about preppers, with preppers. I think it would be interesting. I think it would be interesting for anybody to watch, you know, reality competition among preppers. Yeah. Anyway, that's about it. We're going in town.

[00:06:06] We're selling our last puppy today. And then I think there's a celebration in order. Because, wow, 15. 15 has been something. Anyway, you may hear more of me now that I found my phone with this stuff on. I have not gotten into StreamYard. Everybody else is doing StreamYard. I'm still on Spreaker.

[00:06:35] And I think, well, Maria said if I do StreamYard, I might as well do my own podcast. So, we'll see how that goes. I'm not too sure, you know. Maybe we should put it to a vote among the PBN family. James, if you listen to this, maybe we could do a survey, you know. Just the yes or no.

[00:07:00] Who would listen to Dave Jones's prepping up with the Joneses? Or even watch. Because if we do StreamYard, we're going to have tons of video. Maria said she would record herself every day doing stuff. So, me, I teach high school history. Maria said she would record her. So, that's not very, very exciting. Hey, President's Day. So, this is President's Day.

[00:07:28] Created by none other than Ronald Reagan. And he was badgered for a long time while he was in office to create Martin Luther King Day. And he did not feel that Martin Luther King was on the same historical plane as George Washington or Abraham Lincoln.

[00:07:57] So, when he was pressed into creating Martin Luther King Day, he moved one of the holidays from February to January. Made it Martin Luther King Day. And Washington's birthday, All-President's Day. So, there you go. A little piece of history on today's PBN. Okay, PBN family.

[00:08:27] I am going to sign off. I'm glad to be back. I'm happy I found my phone. And you may probably hear more of me now that I know where the phone is. Take care and prep on.
