[00:00:22] Well, if it ain't the PBN Family, what is up? This has been a long day's journey to Mike, if you know the reference. I'm late. I'm late baby, I'm so late, it's crazy. I couldn't sleep last night, no sleep, nothing.
[00:00:45] Severely bug bitten, I traipsed into the Garden of Eden. My son even warned me like I was rolling into this patch of..., I don't need these headphones on... You know, like, it was crazy. The ground was mint and surrounding us on all sides with blackberries. This wasn't a dream, this was reality.
[00:01:12] And somehow, I don't know, I happened upon..., or it could have been when I was running around looking for chanterelle mushrooms the other day. Whatever happened, I found all the chiggers. I found them all, you know? And about annually I do that. About annually I find them all and they absolutely punish me. And that was the case folks, that was the case. Why do I look kind of like not focused? Is it focusing on me?
[00:01:40] Okay. Well, I'm gonna talk about PBN today, I think, fundamentally. But I do want to talk to you about MylarBags and PackFreshUSA.com. I do want you to read them and weep. I do want..., this is part of a..., oh yeah, that's it. That's number five. Long term. And these will be the subject, well not the subject, but one of the many techniques for today's members only podcast.
[00:02:09] I'd started this podcast about four times already. I was gonna do the members podcast as today's podcast. I was gonna do today's podcast as the, you know, that whole thing. You need MylarBags in your life. Okay. PackFreshUSA.com, check them out. PackFreshUSA.com, check them out. We're gonna read an article. No, not in this podcast. Next one.
[00:02:28] I've got food insecurity on my mind. So for the members only podcast today, we're gonna talk about like real legitimate cooking techniques, recipe-ish things that will save you money and get you fed. And probably get you fed better than the way you're eating already, in all honesty. You know, America is a weird place, man. We know the answers.
[00:02:55] I'm more than Jay Furt. Thanks for joining me late. We know the answers, but we don't often like take advantage of them. So it's a weird one. It's a weird one. But that's today's members only podcast. That'll be coming about midday. I want to kind of talk about PBN shortly, briefly. I don't really want to get into news and stuff. I don't want to get into anything. I really don't. I don't know.
[00:03:23] It was one of those mornings. I got started late when I hopped on the podcast. The dogs were like wrestling and fighting. It was loud. And it was one of those things like this ain't gonna work today. You know what I mean? And I almost abandoned it altogether. I did no show yesterday either. Why didn't I do the show yesterday? I don't remember. It was another one of those things. No surviving America yesterday, but you know, is what it is.
[00:03:50] But I just somebody, you know, sometimes. Sometimes I get into this headspace with PBN where it's like, I don't know, it's not really. Jay Furt says it's called life. Yeah, no doubt about that. That's that's the real deal right there. You definitely called it.
[00:04:12] But you get into this. I get into this headspace with PBN where I'm overwhelmed in a good way. That's really what it is. It's it's overwhelmed in a really good way, you know, and that's where we are right now with PBN.
[00:04:25] Right before I hopped on, I saw Sarah Hathaway and I reposted it over on next Sarah Hathaway put her latest trailer up for the changing earth audio drama video music sound the whole nine yards like what she's doing with the audio drama has been absolutely incredible. Most of you out there probably have no idea we even have an audio drama. You know what I mean? Probably have no clue. Oh, by the way, I did two things for you folks here at for those of you on Instagram.
[00:04:55] Pretty cool. I took this was last night I interviewed a guy. His show will be up soon on drones and drone tech and using drones and thermals and drones. Really cool show. Great guy. Guy from Prepper Camp. Part of the Prepper Camp series. For those of you keeping up with the Prepper Camp series, you know, first of all, buy your tickets, go to Prepper Camp. Don't be silly.
[00:05:20] Like you're going to waste that money on a on a restaurant and a couple glasses of wine. And then you're going to say you're going to be like sitting in a chair like this in a room like this going like, how come I never set aside money for survival? Or how come I can't afford survival training and tactical training and, you know, herbal medicine training and all this kind of stuff? It's not fair. I want to get the real training. Right. And you're going to you're going to piss and moan about it.
[00:05:47] I'm telling you right now for the price, there's no greater deal than Prepper Camp 2025. So go get your tickets. But, you know, a speaker there is going to talk drones. I talked to him last night about drones and then all fair. He was talking a lot about growing medicinal herbs and things like that. And I said, you know what? I'm going to send you a guy named Judson Carroll's show. And I sent him the latest episode.
[00:06:10] And then out of curiosity, I searched YouTube and I went and saw what happens if I just type his show into my YouTube search? Not not the YouTube search, but, you know, like my studio. And I was able to grab all of them. So what I did is I created a playlist on our YouTube channel. So if you're watching us on YouTube, subscribe and you can, you know, get to that playlist pretty easily. And it's all herbal medicine for preppers.
[00:06:38] It's like 20 episodes or something like that, because his shows are amazing. They're if you're into that kind of thing, it's like that is the podcast. It's a guy, Judson Carroll, if you don't know him, he's a guy who lives in the Appalachian Mountains and what he does. Among, you know, other things, he's a writer, writes, writes really interesting stuff over at Substack. You should check him out, plays guitar. This is just what I know of and goes out in the woods and finds medicinal plants.
[00:07:04] That's the guy who you want to do your herbal medicine for preppers podcast. You know what I mean? So. Just like those two things right there. Bananas like bananas. Like it's not a it's not a good person from this. Nothing wrong with it. I'm a person from the suburbs. It's not like a person from the suburbs who trained to become an herbalist and now they do a podcast because they know it's lucrative. Like it's a guy who this is his life. You know what I mean?
[00:07:32] The same could be said for the Phoenix in chat for Jay Fergie. Jay Fergie. And it just things like this just hit you. You know what I mean? They just hit you and you just go. All of a sudden, the Prepper Broadcasting Network has a new dynamic homesteading program. It just like happened like that. You know what I mean?
[00:07:55] It just and all it was again was immersing a person who belongs there back in her natural environment. And it just takes off. It's like Dave Jones, you know, a well-oiled machine. Dave Jones, the NBC guy. You listen to him. You get a little bit of everything. It's he's up there on his doing his homestead thing. It's yeah, I just like I said. And like I always say. Just find me the network.
[00:08:25] Find me the website. Find me the podcast. Find me the thing. That is anything like PBN. Find it for me. I want to look. I would listen. I would watch. You know what I mean? If there were if there was this collection of incredible people doing amazing things, all just delivering the answers. To you, you know what I mean?
[00:08:49] Like delivering the like there's so many videos out there about what's wrong and so many articles about what's wrong and so many things about we're confused. We're lost. We're in a cult. We're wrapped up in this. We're wrapped up in that. The future is bleak. The blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. What the Prepper Broadcasting Network has become over the years is. Well, it's become your path back to stability. That's what it is. And I don't know. Proud, proud father moment. We'll go with that.
[00:09:19] Proud commander moment. How about that? You know, it's just I've just been having that feeling lately. Not not because the Internet's telling me to. Not because we're seeing some kind of boost in certain metrics or anything like that. Not because we're making a bunch of money or anything along those lines. Like just watching this thing work. Stepping back. Patriot Power Hour live last night. I mean, you could argue the Patriot Power Hour. Like.
[00:09:50] I don't know. I don't listen to a lot of that kind of content. You know what I mean? Especially not two man stuff. So the Patriot Power Hour and the Rising Republic is really like. That's kind of my my jam for news and two people. Right. But yeah, it's just one of those. It's just one of those things. You start gathering it all up. The matter of facts podcast is phenomenal. And you realize that there really is. There's nothing out there like the Prepper Broadcasting Network. You know, and it's.
[00:10:20] Like I said, I'm not trying to convince you. This is not I'm not having convinced. The majority of people I'm talking to already listen, already know. I'm gushing. That's all. That's all I'm doing. You know what I mean? I'm just gushing right now because you. I'm so immersed in it. Obviously, it's what I do. But you can go through great stretches where you're doing a job. Right. You can go through great stretches where you're like pop star podcast tags. Tags. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. How do we grow? How do we this? How do we that?
[00:10:50] And then you go through these stretches where it's like. Look at what. What we've become. You know what I mean? Like, look at what this is. Look at the body of information. You know what? I think it also has to do with, too, is when you get. When you get so immersed in the Internet that you see like there's almost nothing worth watching. Anybody having that problem anymore? I felt like there was a time where I'd flip the phone on.
[00:11:19] I had some housework or some yard work to do or whatever. Some editing, something that requires some audio. And it was like just a list of things. And I'd be like, oh, I want to watch that. I'll watch that later. I'll listen to that. I'll do that. You know, I get in the phone and bring up YouTube now. And I'm like. I don't watch any of this. I don't I don't care about anybody's thoughts on any of these topics. I don't know. It just feels that way. So then you return. You return home to your friends on PBN. You know what I mean?
[00:11:49] And they're all doing great stuff as per usual. I don't know. It's just one of those things, man. It's you know, and this this is like only the show content stuff. Right. Like this is only the show content. We're not even scratching the surface on members content stuff. We're not even scratching the surface on like prepper camp behind the scenes stuff. Things that are like just bubbling to the surface.
[00:12:17] It's it's a big wide world, you know, here at PBN. And I am just super grateful for for everybody here. It's it's wide. And you, you know what I mean? And you, too. You know, it's you guys. You guys who are the listeners, you change everything. Hey, no, no, no. We're not going under here to eat random things. OK, Bob. The puppy has reached raptor phase now. He's full on raptor. He's full on just absolute tornado of destruction.
[00:12:47] He here he goes right now. He's he's stealing a Lima Tango handkerchief and running away with it. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Can't do that, buddy. I just gave you a big old bone. Come here. Give me that back. Can't take the old Lima Tango hanky. This thing's worth buying on its own. You ever see one of these? Oh, it's got all kinds of stuff, man.
[00:13:17] It's got all kinds of survival recommendations, skills, knots, first aid business. I mean, it's it's awesome. Hypothermia prevention. The rule of three hydration. So what it's got? It's got the clove hitch. It's got the bowling. It's got the stitch. What is this? Why can't I read that? Oh, it's upside down and backwards. That's why. Two half hitches. Yeah, it's cool. It's a really cool little reference. And the hanky, man, the hanky is essential.
[00:13:46] You got to have it. You got to have it. You know, if you got to drop your kid off at the liberal parents house, you got to have the hankies. They let you in. I'm here to drop my kid off. Is it OK if I come inside? I'll leave my gun in the car. Yes, sure. Yes, sure. Enter. You may access granted. Access granted, you capitalist right wing pig. Get in here and get out of here as quickly as you can because we don't want you here.
[00:14:14] I don't deal with that very much at all, actually. So that's a good thing. That's a good thing. So what else? What else is happening in the big wide world? Go to pbnfamily.com. See the membership website. We created a new membership checkout. I don't know why it took me so long. I'm just going to show you. I'm just going to show it to you because it's I didn't realize like for the longest time,
[00:14:39] this is a blind spot of mine, but I didn't realize that our checkout screen was so goofy. Do you care? I don't care if you don't care. You know what I mean? I really don't this morning. I'm sorry. Oh, yeah. Jay Fergus is flooding everywhere. Yeah, we're flooded like we are. The backyard is a marsh right now. I've got to go check out a survival cache in the backyard and see if it held up.
[00:15:07] Because I'm sure it was swimming last night at some point. But anyway, I just want to show it because it's cool. And for those of you watching who like, I don't know. Thinking about it. It's a much better situation. Yeah, we could talk about the rain. I don't know. I think I might start doing like a foil Friday.
[00:15:31] I think I might start doing a foil Friday and talking about things like what's on my mind when it comes to this flooding business. Because it is absolutely bonkers. So this is pbnfamily.com, our membership website. And we used to have this weird little bit of verbiage, right? And then it was just like a link. That wasn't what the link said. But it was just a red link.
[00:15:56] And I got this, you know, I got a really good website extension thing that allows me to create cool stuff like this checkout here. And I don't know. I don't know why it took me so long to like upgrade from this. 2008 link checkout situation. So just so you know, OK, just so you know, gives you a list and breakdown of everything that's included.
[00:16:25] You know, like I said, prepper camp tickets, monthly PBM membership. You can get just an undeniable chunk of preparedness, survival, homesteading, foraging, bushcraft, wilderness, survival and more knowledge. Right. For under 100 bucks. Under 100 bucks. Five bucks a month. I'm talking about do it right.
[00:16:54] You know, start today. Buy your prepper camp ticket today. Those things are going to cost you less than 100. I mean, if this is something you want to get into. I know some of you not. Who cares? Right. Right. Not really not really into it. Whatever. Down the tinfoil and the conspiracy for the week or month. Oh, down for you probably meant down for tinfoil. But the Internet, I mean, the the device is no better than us. Right. They know what we want to say better than us.
[00:17:22] They're predictive and all they do is screw up our conversations. Yeah. Seamless. I don't know. Like I said, I'm just talking up the situation. You know, check out real easy. Boom. Card. We don't ask for that much information. Name, card, whatever. Right. And get started. Zip code. I don't even I don't even think we asked for. Yeah. We don't even ask for what's it called? Address fundamentally.
[00:17:52] But that's it. That's PBN family dot com. That's PBN family dot com. This is what you get. Tons of amazing stuff. Had the new members, by the way. I got to reach out to you guys. The SHTF chef. Oh, my goodness. More is coming from the SHTF. So I just posted an SHTF chef for our basil chimichurri over the week. I take all the SHTF chef recipes and they're combined here.
[00:18:20] In the SHTF chef world, basil chimichurri over a charred nation, corn beef hash over auto pen shipwreck. Alfredo was a good one. DIY bacon basic cure. Oh, yeah. The moros. That's a good one. Commander's tomato sauce. That's that you got to have that. That's an easy one, man. So I don't know. Like I said, you put your head down for 10 years and you do a thing.
[00:18:49] And every once in a while you get to look up and go like, wow, check it out, man. Check it out. Right. Reliance. You guys listen to Reliance. Reliance is crazy. Reliance is crazy. Reliance is this guy, this like world class tutor who tutors college kids and SAT prep, that kind of stuff. And he shows up on Sunday and gives an incredible sermon every well, almost every Sunday here at PBN.
[00:19:18] Stephen Menking, you know, literally like a combination of words that I never really liked hearing people say. And I really never really liked saying it myself. But because of Stephen Menking, I can say that dude is legitimately my brother in Christ. Like he was between him and my wife, really, probably fundamentally. And Mike, that was Mike's name. I can't remember.
[00:19:47] We had him on first before Stephen Menking was like it was meant to be right. But he Mike, the guy Mike golf, Mike, I can't think of his name years ago. He tells me about this guy. You should also talk to this guy, Stephen Menking off to the races. You know what I mean? Off to the races. We do need to get some archive stuff up.
[00:20:08] But I've been sort of bandying about whether I want to get into archive shows or if I want to fill the free air time with 24, not a 24-7, but like an archive live. You know what I mean? And run an archive live because. Yeah. But yeah, Foil Friday seems in order because I don't know about you, but last night I'm sitting here, right? I don't even want to tell you what I was doing, but last night I spent about three hours painting Warhammer figurines.
[00:20:39] It's one of those nights. The wife was preoccupied. The kids, they were all doing their thing. And I knew for certain that I had time to burn. And, you know, what I've been doing lately, unfortunately, when I run into that time to burn, I just work. And I know, right? You know. We all know when our bodies had too much and it's like, dude, you got to do something that you want to do. That's silly. That's disconnected. That's creative. That, you know, you got to do that. So I sat down and did that for like three hours.
[00:21:08] I drank too much coffee, which kept me up all night. And I had a fucking blast. Okay. And that's the point. Isn't it? Isn't that the point? You're here for life. Right. You are here for life. But while I'm doing this, while I'm painting, right, I'm over here. I'm dry brushing my mini. And I'm hearing thunder like I've never heard in my whole life. You know what I mean? I've been here a long time now. I've been here. What?
[00:21:38] When did I get here? Oh, nine. Almost 20 years in Virginia. I'm listening to thunder. It sounds like Warhammer's happening outside. Like, that's what it sounds like. It sounds like there's dreadnoughts trampsing through the forest out there and, you know, battles in the skies above. And I'm like, what is it? Like, thunder that rumbles for a long time and almost sounds like it's it almost feels like it's exploding in the sky.
[00:22:08] And then the shock wave is hitting the house. Like thunder that would shake the whole house. What is going on? Not like a boom. You know, normally like a boom, like thunder used to be like a boom, like a lightning. Oh, shit. That was close. Boom. Boom. Oh, cool. Yay. It's all crazy now. I don't know. Maybe I'm paying more attention to it. I have a hard time believe that.
[00:22:35] I have a hard time believe I'm paying more attention to the lightning than ever before. But it is what it is. I don't know, folks. At the end of the day, life is good. I hope yours is. And if it's not, I hope you're working towards something. Don't sit in it. Don't stew in it. Don't sit there and be like, oh, life. There's so many people who've just given up or something. You know what I mean? I don't know what to tell you.
[00:23:02] The grim, dark future of the Warhammer universe. Superheroes and their constant struggles. All that stuff amounts to me waking up every day and being like, this day we shall war. You know what I mean? This day is a war.
[00:23:31] And it's not about violence or it's not even about a great, you meet me, you know me. I'm not an aggressive guy. You know what I mean? But there's a war inside. And I think there has to be a war inside. I really do.
[00:23:46] I've never felt better than when I've just come to terms with the fact that, like, we live in a time where you will be tested more than any generation has ever been tested ever. Maybe in 24 hours. So you have to be, you have to go into it with that mentality. You know what I mean?
[00:24:12] You have to go into it with that sort of, I don't know, indomitable spirit fundamentally. I mean, I'm talking to Mrs. Indomitable Spirit right here in chat. But, like, you need that to survive this day and age. You can't black pill. You can't do this crazy shit where you're like, the world sucks and that's the state of affairs. So, sorry. You know what I mean? You can't live like that. It's bananas.
[00:24:39] Who the hell would live like that? So you have to steel yourself against the times. You have to, well, what you have to do is you have to get honest about your weaknesses. You know what I mean? And then you have to get honest about what is expected of you. I've been thinking about this a lot. The average person, if your goal is to stay on the straight and narrow, you know what I mean? Like, if you don't want to fall into a pit, into the apple orchard, if you will.
[00:25:11] What's it called? Is it called? The Orchard Pit, rather. The Orchard Pit. It's in Poems for Men, written by Dante Gabriel Rossetti. Every man needs to read The Orchard Pit, dude. Come on. Um, what's up, RedSport91? Oh, snap. It's Silverstreak. How you been, man? How have you been? Wow. Yeah, it has been a long time. Jeez. How funny that you showed up today because we're talking largely about PBN. You know?
[00:25:40] Sorry to break my train. You broke my train of thought, man. What the hell? I'm just kidding. Because you are existing in a world that's never existed before. You do have challenges that no one has ever, the likes of which no one has ever faced before. I know we hearken back to, like, the young boys who took off to World War II and won the war, and good. It's a great generation. Nothing against it.
[00:26:12] We are living through a time where things, you have to have a guiding light. You have to have God fundamentally. You have to have a moral compass. And not only do you have to have a moral compass, dude, you got to be in that thing all the time.
[00:26:28] You got to be in that thing.
[00:26:59] Like, when was the first time your morality or whatever, you were fundamentally tested by the day, you know, with sin and temptation? Like, how long did it take in a day before you got to that point? You know what I'm saying? Today you wake up, you pick this up. What time is it? Immediate.
[00:27:28] You got immediate issues, right? Immediately as you wake up, you probably don't even realize it. But immediately as you wake up, you're worried about your shortcomings. Oh, I ate too much last night. Oh, I got to wake up. I got to drink water. I got to hydrate. I got to make sure I'm hydrated. I'm going to die if I don't hydrate. Right? Immediately you're tested by all this stuff.
[00:27:51] And it's just, you look at the state of humanity and to be honest, you know, you see the worst of it and you can say like, oh, we're doomed. But when you see the best of it, not even the best of it, when you see people surviving America, it really is one of those things where you go like, the human is amazing. Like the human is amazing. What we've been forced to adapt to and what we put ourselves through on a day-to-day basis is bananas.
[00:28:21] You know? It's bananas. You know, the level of testing that you go through every day. Like I said, if you're looking, if you have any care in the world at all about the Ten Commandments, if you have any care in the world at all about sin or anything like that, or you're not even about biblical sin, like just being a good person. You are tempted all the time. Like never before.
[00:28:48] And it's just, you give yourself no credit for winning that battle and you should. Do you know what I mean? It's likely you give yourself no credit for winning that battle and you should. Why does it look like I'm from 1901 with my camera hair? And what I have found that works best for me is to basically wake up with war on my mind. You know what I mean? Like I said, it's not aggression. It's not anger. It's not anything like that.
[00:29:17] It's just a life boiling up inside of you that is indomitable. Because you know, I'm going to hit the waves. I'm going to hit the tidal waves. I'm going to hit the speed bumps. I'm going to hit the brick walls. I'm going to, you know, all this kind of stuff. And all the while fighting that war, the temptations of chaos are in your head trying to pull you away. And what if this, how, what if you did this or whatever? You know what I mean? It is a lot. It is a lot.
[00:29:46] So, you know, you've got to dial in. Or as my kids say, you've got to lock in. You've got to lock in. And I'll tell you what, if you don't have kids of your own and you feel like you've got this thing wrangled to some degree, you probably should mentor someone if you have the time. Because I can't imagine being out there with no questions asked. And the shoulder that I lean on is YouTube and TikTok. You know what I mean? You've got to, you've got to.
[00:30:18] And give the generation coming up with the cell phones sewn to their arms some grace because they're fighting the same battle. They're fighting the same battle. And the only difference between them is they don't even know what it's like without it. I didn't get a cell phone until I was probably 19. You know what I mean? These people, these kids have been attached to the digital world since they're three years old or whatever.
[00:30:44] You know, whenever, whenever they first make, whenever they first eyes go over and they see that. Oh, what's mom playing on? I want to play on it. I want to watch on it. So, it's, it is what it is, folks. You are being challenged. You are being tested. If I were you, I would act accordingly. Okay? Talk to you soon, folks. Appreciate you.
