DAC - What A Week!!

[00:00:12] A person who applicates and practices preparedness. One ready for any event that would disrupt their daily routine. That is a prepper. Everyone out there in internet radio land, this is Dave Jones the NBC guy. Holy cow what a week! What a week!

[00:00:37] Now I'm going back to the beginning of the week. Dudes and dudettes, if you want a week of great shows, this has been it. The matter of facts guys, they knocked it out of the park. They had a guest on that cuts plates, plate carriers, plates.

[00:01:04] You got to listen to them. I'm telling you, we had the chunks of chickens! Okay? And the intrepid commander was off the hook. The Patriot Power Hour guys, every week their chemistry, I don't know, it's like a fine wine. It gets better and better and better. Their chemistry is unbelievable.

[00:01:34] And then, let's see, I'm going back through my other phone. I'm flicking down through here. The Intrepid Commander, the Intrepid Commander, Surviving America, that was a great show. Oh my gosh! Sarah Hathaway has remastered, audio remastered her shows and she's rebroadcasting them.

[00:01:58] I died. I died. Oh! Oh, I think it's Larry. Hang on. Yeah, PBN family, that was Larry. Larry came over, gave me another mag carrier. He said as he runs across stuff that he's going through, if there's something I can use, he just brings it over.

[00:02:20] So, I need to send prayers out for Larry. He's battling the big sea. So, yeah, I think I mentioned it a while back. And he's still doing good. I mean, he mowed his grass for the first time. He said it wiped him out. But he got in the massage chair, got a couple massages and he's feeling pretty good now.

[00:02:50] So, there you go. Where was I? Oh yeah, it was Sarah Hathaway. And she's remastered. I died. And then, Strange Truth was awesome. Carl B, just fantastic. And Reliance.

[00:03:19] Dang, I'm telling you, our chaplain, he's getting better and better at what he does too. So, Reliance was fantastic. So, I know I'm going to have a good week. Back to school tomorrow. Worked, worked, oh my gosh, worked. We butchered eight rabbits and 26 chickens. We filled up a freezer. We redid some fences. It's a never-ending story here.

[00:03:50] So, while the two coops are empty, we're going to redo some of the infrastructure inside the coops. And we have 10 ducks that's going down to one location and 20-some. Oh my gosh. So, Maria got inspired when Deanna did her experiment with the chickens for a science project.

[00:04:18] And she just threw a bunch of eggs in an incubator. Without the turner or anything, just a bunch of eggs. And she turned them by hand. And truthfully, I never thought we were going to get anything out of it. Because it was just too haphazard. She had a better hatch rate than the incubator with the turner.

[00:04:44] These chicks, now we have 120 chicks we need to find homes for. So, I don't know. We tried to sell them on Craigslist. No one's buying. So, I don't know. We're just going to raise them up six weeks. Butcher them. More meat in the freezer. We're going to try some freeze-dried rabbit. And, oh!

[00:05:14] Prepper Camp! That's what... James did a special episode of Prepper Camp with the godfather of prepping Rick Austin. And it was fantastic. And the current plan for the Joneses, if you want to meet the warden face-to-face, her and I are coming down. We're leaving the kids behind. And it's just us.

[00:05:43] So, that's the current plan. Now, Maria has a tendency to bail on me last minute. But she's pretty fired up. She's getting a whole bunch of stuff together. Tinctures, soap, creams. She is getting a bunch of stuff together. So, Prepper Camp this year should be pretty interesting. I mean, every year it's interesting.

[00:06:11] But this year, it's going to be crazy, crazy. I'm pretty sure everybody's going to show up that didn't come last year, that missed it. So, it's going to be pretty off the hook. BBN family, if you can make it. If you can make it in any way, shape, or form, you will not be disappointed. Okay, I guess that's about it. Take care.
