[00:00:00] Post-Heroine, a fight for the rights of the most stoned us in the United States Constitution. We are the Prepper Broadcasting Network. Hello everyone out there on internet, Radio Land. This is Dave Jones, the NBC guy.

[00:00:34] I'm chuckling because I usually don't come to you all on a sat Sunday night. Man, I'm listening to Stephen Menken. That man has got a calling in life. I thank the Lord that he is PBN's chaplain.

[00:00:56] I'm telling you what? If we ever had a spiritual problem, man, he's got the answers. So if you didn't listen to Reliance, listen to it. It makes my week go wonderful.

[00:01:15] When I listen to Reliance on Sunday, I have a great week and now I know this is going to be a great week. So this is something that's been bugging me.

[00:01:30] Something that I put out on my tactical movement class, but it's been bugging me lately because, well, just because. What do you carry on your belt? What do you carry on your belt? Now, this is inside your green zone, your own personal secure space.

[00:01:56] Okay? What will you carry with you everywhere you go outside of your home when you're on your property? Okay? Hear me out. A sidearm locked and loaded. An additional magazine for that sidearm. Now, this is only to present suppressive fire, to get to cover, to...

[00:02:33] If you start receiving fire, this is to suppress fire and get to cover. Okay? So that's why you're carrying that. A multi-tool. If you're out mending fences doing whatever, you don't want to have to go back and get a pair of pliers, a cutter.

[00:03:02] You know, the things that a multi-tool can do. And the third and final thing, and I say final because it may not be final, is a knife. A medium-sized camp knife.

[00:03:22] Something that you can pull out and cut things with instantly because the little blade on a multi-tool is crap compared to a medium-sized camp knife. Now, it depends upon your perimeter and what you're doing. You may want to have low-powered communication.

[00:03:46] And the reason I say low power is because the more power you're putting out, the easier it is to detect you. So there is a space within Preparatum for those little family handheld radios that also broadcast on GMRS.

[00:04:10] It's just that they're lower powered and that's just within your perimeter. And you may want to have that because, well, obviously communications, right? So that's what I'm thinking of right now. Think about it. What would you add? What would you subtract? Would you sub... This is in SHTF.

[00:04:42] When you actually have to put up perimeters and you have to defend and you are, let's say you're in a long period of grid down because we have had that here on the mountain. We have had power failures that has lasted over seven days.

[00:05:02] And I did not feel secure because the generator was running and creating all kinds of noise. I carried my belt. Now, at the time I didn't carry my communications but we're getting better at that walkie-talkie thing.

[00:05:24] Maria has finally come around to say, hey, that's a pretty good idea. It works better than the cell phone because you can just say what you want it to do. You don't have to wait for someone to answer. And it is. It is.

[00:05:40] And, you know, if everything goes to crap, the cell phone towers are going to be down. But your handheld communications will still be up, you know, relatively speaking. So there you go. What do you carry on your belt?

[00:05:59] And I have no idea why I'm putting this out there but you know sometimes... Sometimes you just get a feeling, right? Anyway, PBN Family, take care and prep on.
