[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_00]: or they don't want to work or whatever.
[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And these countries are getting rid of non-productive people
[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_00]: in the caravans, in many cases,
[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_00]: and they're also getting rid of their murderers
[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_00]: and their drug dealers and the people
[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_00]: that are really brutal people.
[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_00]: And they're coming into our country at levels
[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_00]: that have never been seen before.
[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And I saw an ad just before I got on the air,
[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'm walking over here,
[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_00]: and I saw an ad by Kamala saying
[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_00]: how she is going to provide border security.
[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Where's she been for three and a half years?
[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_00]: For three and a half years.
[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, no.
[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_02]: We have 20 million people border.
[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_02]: It's terrible.
[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think this frankly,
[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I think this is a fundamental existential issue
[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_02]: for the United States.
[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And if we have another four more years of open borders
[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_02]: and it's gonna be even worth it
[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_02]: with another four more years,
[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_02]: it's gonna be even worse than it's been
[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_02]: for the past three and a half years.
[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sure we've got a country.
[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_02]: You don't have a country.
[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Elon, if they get in,
[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_00]: you will have 50 to 60 million people
[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_00]: from all over the world.
[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Not South America only.
[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_00]: We think of South America.
[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_00]: We think of Honduras and El Salvador, Guatemala,
[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_00]: and Mexico, the four.
[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's not that.
[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_00]: It's everywhere.
[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_00]: They're coming in from everywhere.
[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And I had to stay in Mexico.
[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_02]: This is a super important point.
[00:27:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, people, it's like,
[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_02]: basically when I went down there,
[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I was like, well, where are people from?
[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like almost no one was from Mexico.
[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_00]: No, Mexico less.
[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just the border with Mexico.
[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_02]: But the people coming in, it's Earth,
[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_02]: the rest of Earth.
[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_02]: And America is only about four or five percent
[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_02]: of the population of Earth.
[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_02]: It would only take a few percent of the rest of Earth
[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_02]: to overwhelm everything in the West.
[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_00]: We're already overwhelmed, Elon.
[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_00]: We're overwhelmed.
[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_00]: You had to see the news tonight about New York.
[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_00]: And I love that place.
[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_00]: And what they're doing to it is horrible,
[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_00]: what they're doing to it.
[00:28:30] [SPEAKER_00]: And all the courts do is they try and focus on Trump.
[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, let's focus on Trump who did nothing wrong.
[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I complain about her, a rigged election.
[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Elon, what's happened is unbelievable.
[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_00]: You have from Africa, from the Congo they're coming,
[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_00]: from the Congo.
[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And 22 people came in from the Congo recently
[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_00]: and they're murderers.
[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And they drop them.
[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_00]: They take them out of jails, which is very expensive
[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_00]: to maintain the jails.
[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Although they don't do too much maintaining,
[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I can tell you.
[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_00]: But they take them out of jails, prisons.
[00:29:01] [SPEAKER_00]: They take them out and they bring them
[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_00]: to the United States.
[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_00]: They deposit them in the United States
[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_00]: since they don't ever come back
[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_00]: and you're gonna be executed.
[00:29:08] [SPEAKER_00]: And they don't wanna come back.
[00:29:10] [SPEAKER_00]: But they won't come back.
[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_00]: But they're coming from Africa,
[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_00]: they're coming from Asia,
[00:29:16] [SPEAKER_00]: they're coming from the Middle East,
[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_00]: they're coming from South America.
[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_00]: They're coming from everywhere.
[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And there are a lot of really bad ones.
[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just an everywhere on Earth thing
[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_02]: and it's just not possible for the United States
[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_02]: to absorb everyone from Earth
[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_02]: or even a few percent of the rest of Earth.
[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just not possible.
[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_00]: So, that's yeah.
[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Just to finish this up,
[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_00]: we're gonna have the largest deportation in history
[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_00]: of this country and we have no choice.
[00:29:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise we're gonna have a country,
[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_00]: what they've done to our country.
[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Think of it, in Venezuela
[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_00]: and in some of these other countries,
[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_00]: crime is down 50, 60, 70, 80%.
[00:29:57] [SPEAKER_00]: And you would be the same.
[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_00]: You would have...
[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what,
[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Venezuela has not gotten rid of all of them.
[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_00]: They've gotten rid of about 70%
[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_00]: of their really bad people.
[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Their jails are about 50% put into the United States.
[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Same with other countries.
[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Some are at 30%, some are at 50%.
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_00]: They're all different.
[00:30:15] [SPEAKER_00]: But the bottom line is they're all gonna be at 100%.
[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Why wouldn't you put 100% of it?
[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And they're doing it right now
[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_00]: while this third rate phony candidate...
[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Don't forget, I beat Biden.
[00:30:29] [SPEAKER_00]: He failed in the debate miserably.
[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_00]: And some people said,
[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_00]: "'Oh, gee, it's too bad.
[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_00]: "'It's too bad he did so badly.'"
[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Or, "'I did well in the debate.'"
[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_00]: The first night they said,
[00:30:39] [SPEAKER_00]: "'Wow, I wonder the people at CNN said
[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_00]: "'that was the greatest debate performance
[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_00]: "'I've ever witnessed.'"
[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And then two days later,
[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_00]: they didn't talk about that.
[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_00]: They just said he was bad.
[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_00]: But that's okay, that's the way I get treated.
[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't mind that at all.
[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_00]: What I can tell you is this,
[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_00]: we cannot have a Democrat.
[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_00]: We cannot have her.
[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_00]: She's incompetent.
[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_00]: She's as bad as Biden in a different...
[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't done an interview
[00:31:01] [SPEAKER_00]: since his whole scam started.
[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_00]: And say what you want.
[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_00]: This was a coup.
[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_00]: This was a coup of a president of the United States.
[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_00]: He didn't wanna leave.
[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_00]: And they said,
[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_00]: "'We can do it the nice way,
[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_00]: "'or we can do it the hard way.'"
[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they just took him out back behind the shed
[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_02]: and basically shot him.
[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, what they did with this guy.
[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm no fan of his.
[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And he was a horrible president,
[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_00]: the worst president in history.
[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And one of the reasons he was so bad,
[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_00]: first of all,
[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_00]: the Israeli attack would have never happened.
[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Russia would never have attacked Ukraine.
[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_00]: And we'd have no inflation.
[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And we wouldn't have had the Afghanistan mess,
[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_00]: if you think of it.
[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_00]: And we wouldn't have had Afghanistan.
[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_00]: But we think of it.
[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_00]: We take a few of those events away
[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_00]: and we have a different world.
[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_00]: We would also have no inflation was caused by oil.
[00:31:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, no.
[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I think you're making an excellent point here,
[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_02]: which is that when other countries can,
[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_02]: are thinking about invading or doing bad things,
[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_02]: when they're thinking about that,
[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_02]: they're thinking about,
[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_02]: okay, what's the American president gonna do?
[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And do they fear the American president?
[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Or is there someone they do not respect
[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_02]: and do not fear?
[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think they do,
[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_02]: rightfully be,
[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_02]: look at the footage of the assassination.
[00:32:20] [SPEAKER_02]: They're like, okay,
[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_02]: President Trump is like,
[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_02]: don't mess with me.
[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's like,
[00:32:28] [SPEAKER_02]: but whereas I think people are not gonna be,
[00:32:30] [SPEAKER_02]: and they obviously have not been at all intimidated
[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_02]: by Biden.
[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_02]: And they certainly will not be intimidated by Kamala.
[00:32:36] [SPEAKER_02]: And you have to really think about it
[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_02]: in the context of global security.
[00:32:42] [SPEAKER_02]: If the American president is someone that,
[00:32:46] [SPEAKER_02]: like evil dictators are scared of,
[00:32:49] [SPEAKER_02]: that makes a huge difference to the security of the world.
[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_00]: So I had a good relationship with Putin
[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_00]: despite the Russia Russia Russia hoax
[00:32:57] [SPEAKER_00]: that lasted for over two years.
[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_00]: It's just a hoax created by Hillary Clinton
[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_00]: and Adam Shifty Schiff,
[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_00]: some just bad people,
[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_00]: just sick people, frankly.
[00:33:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Schiff is a sick person.
[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_00]: He's gonna end up probably being a Senator.
[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_00]: It's hard to believe the whole thing is hard to believe.
[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_00]: But they put our country in danger with that stuff too.
[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_00]: They actually,
[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_00]: when they make up stories
[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_00]: and you have to fight your way out of it
[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_00]: for a long time.
[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_00]: But I know Putin very well.
[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I got along with him very well.
[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_00]: He respected me.
[00:33:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's just one of those things.
[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_00]: And we would talk a lot about Ukraine.
[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_00]: It was the apple of his eye,
[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_00]: but I said, don't ever do it.
[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Don't ever do it.
[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I shut down Nord Stream too.
[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_00]: That was the big oil pipeline.
[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_00]: The biggest, I think the biggest pipeline in the world
[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_00]: going all over Europe.
[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I shut it down.
[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Biden came and then they say,
[00:33:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I loved Russia.
[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I was a friend of Putin and I loved Russia.
[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_00]: No, he actually said to me one time,
[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_00]: he said, if you're my friend,
[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I'd hate to see you as an enemy.
[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I shut down his pipeline.
[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_00]: The biggest pipeline,
[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_00]: they were looking at that fund
[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_00]: and this pathetic president gets in there.
[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_00]: And the first thing he did,
[00:34:02] [SPEAKER_00]: one of the early things he did is he shut down
[00:34:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Keystone XL pipeline,
[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_00]: which is our pipeline that would have employed 48,000 people,
[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_00]: pipeline workers,
[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_00]: shut it down.
[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_00]: That was a massive job that Obama refused to allow.
[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I allowed it in my first week
[00:34:23] [SPEAKER_00]: because it was jobs and it moved oil.
[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And by the way,
[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_00]: in a much more environmentally friendly way,
[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_00]: it's underground.
[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not a truck that catches on fire
[00:34:30] [SPEAKER_00]: or a train that catches on fire.
[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_00]: But think of it.
[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_00]: He shut down the XL pipeline,
[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_00]: the Keystone XL pipeline.
[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_00]: He shuts that down and he approves the Russian pipeline.
[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it doesn't make any sense.
[00:34:46] [SPEAKER_02]: It's inconsistent.
[00:34:49] [SPEAKER_02]: But I mean,
[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it's just worth emphasizing to listeners
[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_02]: the immense importance
[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_02]: of whether the United States president is intimidating
[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_02]: or not intimidating
[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_02]: and how much that matters to global security
[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_02]: because there's some real tough characters out there.
[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_02]: And if they don't think the American president is tough,
[00:35:12] [SPEAKER_02]: they will do what they wanna do.
[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_02]: I know every one of them.
[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_02]: It puts the whole world in danger.
[00:35:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Elon, I know every one of them
[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_00]: and I know him well.
[00:35:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I know Putin,
[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I know President Xi,
[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I know Kim Jong-un of North Korea.
[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I know every one of them.
[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_00]: And let me tell you,
[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_00]: people will say,
[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_00]: oh, this is terrible.
[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_00]: He said, I'm not saying anything good or bad.
[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_00]: They're at the top of their game.
[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_00]: They're tough,
[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_00]: they're smart,
[00:35:33] [SPEAKER_00]: they're vicious
[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_00]: and they're gonna protect their country
[00:35:36] [SPEAKER_00]: whether they love their country.
[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_00]: They probably do.
[00:35:38] [SPEAKER_00]: It's just a different form of love
[00:35:40] [SPEAKER_00]: but they're gonna protect their country.
[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_00]: But these are tough people at the top of their game.
[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_00]: And when they see a Kamala
[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_00]: or when they see Biden, Sleepy Joe,
[00:35:49] [SPEAKER_00]: they can't even believe it.
[00:35:50] [SPEAKER_00]: They can't believe this happened.
[00:35:52] [SPEAKER_00]: All this stuff that you're seeing now,
[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_00]: all the horror that you're...
[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Look at Israel.
[00:35:56] [SPEAKER_00]: They're all waiting for an attack from Iran.
[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Iran would not be attacking, believe me.
[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, when I was there
[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_00]: and I say it with respect
[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_00]: because I think we would have been good with Iran.
[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't wanna do anything bad to Iran
[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_00]: but they knew not to mess around.
[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Iran was broke
[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_00]: because I told China,
[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_00]: if you buy from Iran oil,
[00:36:15] [SPEAKER_00]: it's all about the oil.
[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_00]: That's where the money is.
[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you buy oil from Iran,
[00:36:20] [SPEAKER_00]: you're not gonna do any business
[00:36:22] [SPEAKER_00]: with the United States.
[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_00]: And I meant it.
[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And they said, we'll pass
[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_00]: they didn't buy oil.
[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Other countries likewise,
[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_00]: you wanna buy,
[00:36:30] [SPEAKER_00]: you're not doing business
[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_00]: with the United States.
[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_00]: And they were at a point where they were...
[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_00]: They had no money for Hamas.
[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_00]: They had no money for Hezbollah.
[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_00]: They had no money for any of these instruments of terror.
[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_00]: And it was amazing.
[00:36:42] [SPEAKER_00]: In fact, there were articles when I was leaving
[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_00]: which is hard to believe actually,
[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_00]: especially when you look at
[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_00]: what's happened to our country.
[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Our country is so bad right now.
[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_00]: It's such a different place.
[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_00]: We were respected.
[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Think of it, four years ago,
[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_00]: we were so respected to a point where
[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_00]: when I said don't buy oil,
[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_00]: they didn't buy oil.
[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_00]: But they had no money.
[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And Israel would have never been attacked.
[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Zero chance.
[00:37:07] [SPEAKER_00]: And again, I said to Vladimir Putin,
[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I say, don't do it.
[00:37:10] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't do it Vladimir.
[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_00]: You do it.
[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_00]: It's gonna be a bad day.
[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_00]: You cannot do it.
[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And I told him things that what I do
[00:37:18] [SPEAKER_00]: and he said, no way.
[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And I said, way.
[00:37:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's the last time we ever had the conversation.
[00:37:25] [SPEAKER_00]: He would never have done,
[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I got along well with him.
[00:37:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I hope to get along well with him again.
[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Getting along well with them is a good thing,
[00:37:32] [SPEAKER_00]: not a bad thing.
[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I got along well with John Lund.
[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_00]: When I met with President Obama just before entering,
[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_00]: it's sort of a ritual.
[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_00]: And I sat down with him and we talked.
[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_00]: It was supposed to be for a very short period of time
[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_00]: and turned out to be a long period of time.
[00:37:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I said, what's the biggest problem?
[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_00]: He said North Korea.
[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I had that problem worked out very quickly.
[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_00]: It was nasty at the beginning with Rocket Man
[00:37:55] [SPEAKER_00]: and all the different things.
[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_00]: But all of a sudden I got a call.
[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Those were some epic tweets by the way.
[00:38:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they were epic everything.
[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_00]: He said that he has a red button on his desk.
[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I said, I have a red button on my desk too,
[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_00]: but my red button is much bigger
[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_00]: and my red button works.
[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And then I called him a Rocket Man,
[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_00]: if little Rocket Man.
[00:38:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, here's the bottom line.
[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_00]: All of a sudden I got a call from him
[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and they said they want to meet me.
[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And we met, as you remember,
[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_00]: we met in Singapore, we met also in Vietnam.
[00:38:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And I got along with them great.
[00:38:29] [SPEAKER_00]: We were in no danger.
[00:38:31] [SPEAKER_00]: But President Obama,
[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_00]: President Obama thought we were gonna end up in a war,
[00:38:35] [SPEAKER_00]: a nuclear war with him.
[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And let me tell you,
[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_00]: he's got a lot of nuclear stuff too.
[00:38:38] [SPEAKER_00]: He's got plenty of nuclear.
[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_00]: He can do plenty of damage.
[00:38:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I mean it's because people like Kim Jong-un,
[00:38:48] [SPEAKER_02]: they respond to strength, not weakness.
[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_02]: And if you project strength,
[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_02]: you know, you're good.
[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Remember I met him and we walked onto his land.
[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Nobody ever walked onto his land before.
[00:39:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I walked there and gave,
[00:39:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't say, let's bring up Secret Service again.
[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't say they were thrilled when I did that.
[00:39:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I walked onto his land
[00:39:06] [SPEAKER_00]: and it was an amazing period.
[00:39:11] [SPEAKER_00]: But we were not in danger with him because of me.
[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I always say
[00:39:15] [SPEAKER_00]: that we have enemies on the outside
[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_00]: and we have enemies on the inside.
[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_00]: We have some really bad people in our government
[00:39:22] [SPEAKER_00]: and people that are,
[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_00]: and controlling of the people.
[00:39:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I'd mention names,
[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_00]: but I really don't wanna give them the credit.
[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_00]: But we have some really bad,
[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_00]: and I say they're more dangerous than Russia and China.
[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_00]: If you have a smart president,
[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_00]: a president that gets it,
[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_00]: we are not in danger from those countries
[00:39:42] [SPEAKER_00]: because they need us and they need our help.
[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we forced Obama,
[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_00]: if you think about it,
[00:39:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Obama and Biden and Bush to a certain extent,
[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_00]: in all fairness,
[00:39:52] [SPEAKER_00]: forced Russia and China together.
[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_00]: And if you're a history student,
[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_00]: the first thing you learn is
[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_00]: you cannot let Russia and China align.
[00:40:02] [SPEAKER_00]: But then they also got,
[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_00]: if you take a look, Iran,
[00:40:05] [SPEAKER_00]: and they have North Korea.
[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_00]: That's, you know, they called it the access of evil.
[00:40:10] [SPEAKER_00]: In the old days, you had the access of evil.
[00:40:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Here we have a modern day access of evil.
[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_00]: These are powerful countries, very heavy nuclear,
[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_00]: which is the biggest threat.
[00:40:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, the biggest threat is not global warming,
[00:40:22] [SPEAKER_00]: where the ocean's gonna rise one eighth of an inch
[00:40:25] [SPEAKER_00]: over the next 400 years.
[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_00]: The big, and you'll have more ocean front property,
[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_00]: right?
[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_00]: The biggest threat is not that.
[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_00]: The biggest threat is nuclear warming,
[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_00]: because we have five countries now
[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_00]: that have significant nuclear power,
[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_00]: and we have to not allow anything to happen
[00:40:43] [SPEAKER_00]: with stupid people like Biden.
[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, Biden did something with Russia.
[00:40:48] [SPEAKER_00]: There was no chance of him ever going in.
[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And when I left, and then after I left,
[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_00]: they started forming big armies on there
[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_00]: on the border with Ukraine, right?
[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And I looked at that,
[00:40:59] [SPEAKER_00]: and I thought he was doing that,
[00:41:01] [SPEAKER_00]: because Putin's a good negotiator.
[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I thought he was doing that to negotiate.
[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_00]: But then Biden started saying such stupid things.
[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_00]: For instance, he said that it can be a NATO country.
[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, Russia for as long as there's been NATO has said,
[00:41:16] [SPEAKER_00]: we're never gonna agree to that.
[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And we go right up front and say that.
[00:41:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And we did things and said things
[00:41:23] [SPEAKER_00]: through this president with a low IQ, very low IQ.
[00:41:26] [SPEAKER_00]: He had a low IQ 30 years ago, by the way,
[00:41:28] [SPEAKER_00]: but now he might not even have a IQ at all.
[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_00]: There is nothing on the board that goes this long.
[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_00]: He said things that were so stupid
[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_00]: that that war would have been,
[00:41:40] [SPEAKER_00]: that war had zero chance of happening
[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_00]: if I were there, zero chance.
[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_00]: He was saying everything the opposite,
[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_00]: everything the opposite.
[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's so sad because many more people
[00:41:52] [SPEAKER_00]: have been killed in Ukraine than you read about.
[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't read about how bloody it is and how desolate.
[00:41:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Hey look, just in the two armies,
[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_00]: you lost a half a million people.
[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_00]: And you know, Ukraine's having a hard time.
[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you saw the article recently
[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's true, you don't hear the true story.
[00:42:08] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you think about it, Russia's gone,
[00:42:12] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, Russia defeated Germany with us
[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_00]: and they defeated Napoleon.
[00:42:16] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, they've been around a long time.
[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_00]: They're a big fighting force and it's very unfair.
[00:42:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And Ukraine now doesn't have enough men.
[00:42:24] [SPEAKER_00]: They're now using young men and very old men to fight.
[00:42:28] [SPEAKER_00]: And we're in a very bad position.
[00:42:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not gonna blame exclusively,
[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_00]: but I can tell you I could have stopped that
[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_00]: and a smart president could have stopped that.
[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_00]: It wouldn't have happened.
[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_00]: But we had a man that actually made it more prevalent.
[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_00]: It was so bad, the words that he was using,
[00:42:49] [SPEAKER_00]: the stupid threats coming from a stupid face
[00:42:52] [SPEAKER_00]: that he was using.
[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I said, this guy's gonna cause us a war.
[00:42:56] [SPEAKER_00]: He's gonna cause us,
[00:42:56] [SPEAKER_00]: and let me tell you, it can lead to World War III.
[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_00]: That can lead to World War III.
[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_00]: The Middle East can lead to,
[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_00]: we have numerous places that could end up
[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_00]: in a World War III right now for no reason whatsoever.
[00:43:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I think you're right.
[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I think people underrate the risk of World War III.
[00:43:13] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's just, you know,
[00:43:15] [SPEAKER_02]: when looking at the risk of global thermonuclear warfare,
[00:43:18] [SPEAKER_02]: it's game over for humanity.
[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And you know, it's something that people have,
[00:43:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I think after the end of the Cold War,
[00:43:25] [SPEAKER_02]: people have become complacent about,
[00:43:27] [SPEAKER_02]: but they actually have forgotten
[00:43:29] [SPEAKER_02]: that there are currently a lot of nuclear missiles
[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_02]: that have targeting parameters
[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_02]: for the United States and other countries.
[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_00]: What we're gonna do is,
[00:43:39] [SPEAKER_00]: we're gonna build an iron dome over us.
[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, Israel has it.
[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna have the best iron dome in the world.
[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_00]: We need it, and we're gonna make it
[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_00]: all in the United States,
[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_00]: but we're gonna have protection
[00:43:49] [SPEAKER_00]: because it just takes one maniac to start something.
[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna have protection.
[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_00]: And we're gonna have,
[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_00]: why shouldn't we have an iron dome?
[00:43:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Israel has one.
[00:43:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Some other places have one
[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_00]: that nobody even knows about, frankly.
[00:44:01] [SPEAKER_00]: But Israel has it.
[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna have an iron dome.
[00:44:03] [SPEAKER_00]: But you know, with all of that being said,
[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_00]: to me, that's so important, the most important.
[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_00]: But with all of that being said,
[00:44:10] [SPEAKER_00]: the election's coming up
[00:44:11] [SPEAKER_00]: and the people wanna hear about the economy
[00:44:13] [SPEAKER_00]: and the fact that they can't buy groceries
[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_00]: because they don't have enough money to buy groceries.
[00:44:19] [SPEAKER_00]: The inflation has killed them.
[00:44:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Food prices are up 50, 60, even 100% in some cases.
[00:44:24] [SPEAKER_00]: And this stupid administration allowed this to happen,
[00:44:28] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's a shame.
[00:44:30] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's the thing that people most care about,
[00:44:32] [SPEAKER_00]: in my opinion.
[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_00]: They care about the border a lot.
[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And we discuss the border at great length.
[00:44:36] [SPEAKER_00]: It's nice to have a forum like this
[00:44:38] [SPEAKER_00]: where I can discuss something at length.
[00:44:41] [SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, you think Biden could do this interview?
[00:44:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you think that Kamala could do this interview?
[00:44:45] [SPEAKER_00]: They would take a pass on you.
[00:44:47] [SPEAKER_01]: No, they could not.
[00:44:48] [SPEAKER_00]: They don't need Elon screaming out questions.
[00:44:53] [SPEAKER_00]: It's pretty sad when you think
[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_00]: that somebody that does this for a living
[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_00]: can't answer a question or is afraid to do an interview.
[00:45:01] [SPEAKER_00]: And in her case, with a very friendly interview,
[00:45:03] [SPEAKER_00]: she's got all friendly interviewers.
[00:45:05] [SPEAKER_00]: It's pretty sad.
[00:45:07] [SPEAKER_00]: But the big thing now is the economy, Elon.
[00:45:09] [SPEAKER_00]: And as much as, I mean,
[00:45:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I view nuclear as the single most important thing,
[00:45:13] [SPEAKER_00]: but a lot of people don't understand that.
[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_00]: But it doesn't have to.
[00:45:17] [SPEAKER_00]: If I understand that that's all you need,
[00:45:18] [SPEAKER_00]: because if I was president,
[00:45:20] [SPEAKER_00]: you're not gonna have that kind of a problem.
[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_00]: But the thing that they really is making them angry
[00:45:26] [SPEAKER_00]: is what Kamala and Biden
[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_00]: have allowed to happen to the economy.
[00:45:30] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a disaster with inflation.
[00:45:33] [SPEAKER_00]: The inflation, it doesn't matter what you make.
[00:45:36] [SPEAKER_00]: The inflation has eaten you alive.
[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_00]: If you're a worker or if you're just a middle income person,
[00:45:44] [SPEAKER_00]: you can't afford, four years ago, five years ago,
[00:45:47] [SPEAKER_00]: people were saving a lot of money.
[00:45:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Today, they're using all their money
[00:45:51] [SPEAKER_00]: and borrowing money just to live.
[00:45:53] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a horrible thing that's happening.
[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_00]: And we'll end that quickly.
[00:45:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, a lot of people just don't understand
[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_02]: where inflation comes from.
[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Inflation comes from government overspending
[00:46:05] [SPEAKER_02]: because the checks never balance
[00:46:06] [SPEAKER_02]: when it's written by the government.
[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_02]: So if the government spends far more than it brings in,
[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_02]: that increases the money supply.
[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_02]: And if the money supply increases faster
[00:46:15] [SPEAKER_02]: than the rate of goods and services,
[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_02]: that's inflation.
[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_02]: So really, we need to reduce our government spending
[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_02]: and we need to reexamine.
[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I think we need a government efficiency commission
[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_02]: to say, where are we spending money that's sensible?
[00:46:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Where is it not sensible?
[00:46:34] [SPEAKER_02]: And we need to live within our means.
[00:46:37] [SPEAKER_02]: We're currently adding, I think,
[00:46:39] [SPEAKER_02]: a trillion dollars to the deficit
[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_02]: roughly every 100 days.
[00:46:45] [SPEAKER_02]: And the interest payments on the national debt
[00:46:48] [SPEAKER_02]: have now exceed the defense budget.
[00:46:50] [SPEAKER_02]: It's on the order of a trillion dollars.
[00:46:51] [SPEAKER_02]: It's interest.
[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And it keeps growing.
[00:46:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I rebuilt our military, largely rebuilt our military.
[00:46:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Did a great job on it, which was so important.
[00:46:59] [SPEAKER_00]: We had jets, we had fighters that were,
[00:47:02] [SPEAKER_00]: and bombers that were 70 years old.
[00:47:04] [SPEAKER_00]: We did a great job in that.
[00:47:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Then we, by the way, then we gave 85 billion of it
[00:47:08] [SPEAKER_00]: back to Afghanistan, if you can believe it.
[00:47:10] [SPEAKER_00]: We gave them 85 billion.
[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_00]: They're one of the largest sellers
[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_00]: of military equipment in the world.
[00:47:15] [SPEAKER_00]: They're selling what we gave them.
[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_00]: That was one of the most embarrassing days
[00:47:20] [SPEAKER_00]: in the history of our country.
[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you think about, let's go back to the economy,
[00:47:27] [SPEAKER_00]: we have to bring energy prices down.
[00:47:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Energy started at the price of gasoline.
[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Now your cars don't require too much gasoline.
[00:47:35] [SPEAKER_00]: So you have a good, and you do make a great product,
[00:47:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I have to say, I have to be honest with you.
[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't mean everybody should have an electric car,
[00:47:43] [SPEAKER_00]: but these are minor details.
[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_00]: But your product is incredible.
[00:47:46] [SPEAKER_00]: But the gasoline, Elon, is the cost of energy.
[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Not only gasoline, it's the cost of heating your house
[00:47:53] [SPEAKER_00]: and cooling your house.
[00:47:54] [SPEAKER_00]: That has to come down.
[00:47:57] [SPEAKER_00]: It's gone up 100%, 150, and 200%.
[00:48:01] [SPEAKER_00]: And that has to come down.
[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_00]: When that comes down, and we're gonna drill baby drill,
[00:48:06] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, they stopped drilling,
[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_00]: and then they went back to drilling
[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_00]: because they went back to the Trump policy.
[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_00]: But if they won, the day after they get into office,
[00:48:17] [SPEAKER_00]: this country will go out of business
[00:48:19] [SPEAKER_00]: because they're gonna go to an energy policy
[00:48:21] [SPEAKER_00]: that's not sustainable.
[00:48:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Wind and different things.
[00:48:25] [SPEAKER_00]: You're not gonna have any.
[00:48:26] [SPEAKER_00]: And I know you're a big fan of the AI.
[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_00]: And I have to say that AI, and this is shocking to me,
[00:48:33] [SPEAKER_00]: but AI requires twice the energy
[00:48:36] [SPEAKER_00]: that the country already produces for everything.
[00:48:40] [SPEAKER_00]: So we're gonna have to build
[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_00]: a lot of energy if our country will be competitive with China,
[00:48:46] [SPEAKER_00]: because that's our primary competitor for this, on the AI.
[00:48:50] [SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna need a lot of electricity.
[00:48:52] [SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna need tremendous electricity,
[00:48:55] [SPEAKER_00]: like almost double what we produce now
[00:48:57] [SPEAKER_00]: for the whole country, if you can believe it.
[00:49:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
[00:49:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, just going back to this basic thing,
[00:49:06] [SPEAKER_02]: which people try to make it sound complicated,
[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_02]: but it's not.
[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_02]: But inflation is caused by government overspending.
[00:49:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Would you agree that we need to take a look
[00:49:14] [SPEAKER_02]: at government spending
[00:49:16] [SPEAKER_02]: and have perhaps a government efficiency commission
[00:49:20] [SPEAKER_02]: that just tries to make the spending sensible
[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_02]: and so that the country lives within its means,
[00:49:25] [SPEAKER_02]: just like a person does?
[00:49:26] [SPEAKER_00]: The waste is incredible.
[00:49:29] [SPEAKER_00]: And nobody negotiates prices.
[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_00]: You used to have a lot of people making jets
[00:49:33] [SPEAKER_00]: and you end up with two companies
[00:49:35] [SPEAKER_00]: and they'll probably try and merge at some point.
[00:49:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I wiped through it.
[00:49:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Like Air Force, just a thing like Air Force One,
[00:49:43] [SPEAKER_00]: one of the first documents they asked me to sign
[00:49:45] [SPEAKER_00]: in general office,
[00:49:46] [SPEAKER_00]: and sir, would you please sign this document?
[00:49:47] [SPEAKER_00]: And what is it?
[00:49:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Air Force One, that's with Boeing,
[00:49:51] [SPEAKER_00]: which is basically two planes, two 747s.
[00:49:54] [SPEAKER_00]: And the price was $5.7 billion for two planes.
[00:49:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, they're highly sophisticated.
[00:50:00] [SPEAKER_00]: They're even nicer than your plane, okay?
[00:50:02] [SPEAKER_00]: But much more sophisticated.
[00:50:04] [SPEAKER_00]: I won't say what's on it,
[00:50:05] [SPEAKER_00]: but they got a lot of stuff on it.
[00:50:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, but it's 5.7.
[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_00]: That's a crazy number.
[00:50:11] [SPEAKER_00]: But I said, I'm not gonna pay 5.7.
[00:50:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not gonna do it.
[00:50:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I said, who made the deal?
[00:50:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Obama and his people.
[00:50:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I said, well then I know the deal is no good.
[00:50:18] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not gonna do it.
[00:50:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And over course of about four weeks
[00:50:22] [SPEAKER_00]: by my saying I'm not gonna do it,
[00:50:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I got the price reduced by $1.6 billion
[00:50:28] [SPEAKER_00]: for the exact same plane,
[00:50:29] [SPEAKER_00]: other than we had a nicer paint job
[00:50:31] [SPEAKER_00]: if you wanna know the truth.
[00:50:32] [SPEAKER_00]: But for the exact same plane,
[00:50:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I saved one.
[00:50:35] [SPEAKER_00]: And I said to Boeing,
[00:50:37] [SPEAKER_00]: man, you guys must make a lot of money
[00:50:39] [SPEAKER_00]: if you can reduce the price by that.
[00:50:41] [SPEAKER_00]: But now what I do here is that they're going back
[00:50:44] [SPEAKER_00]: to the Biden administration
[00:50:47] [SPEAKER_00]: and wanting big cost overruns
[00:50:48] [SPEAKER_00]: because they see these dopey suckers in there
[00:50:51] [SPEAKER_00]: and they'll end up getting some of the money back.
[00:50:54] [SPEAKER_00]: But I shaved it by $1.6 billion
[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_00]: for the exact same plane.
[00:50:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And you can now take that
[00:50:59] [SPEAKER_00]: and multiply that out times thousands of other items.
[00:51:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Multiply it by a billion.
[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the numbers are astronomical.
[00:51:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I agree with you.
[00:51:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, so I mean,
[00:51:12] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it'd be great
[00:51:13] [SPEAKER_02]: to just have a government efficiency commission
[00:51:15] [SPEAKER_02]: that takes a look at these things
[00:51:17] [SPEAKER_02]: and just ensures that the taxpayer money,
[00:51:22] [SPEAKER_02]: the taxpayers hard earned money is spent in a good way.
[00:51:26] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'd be happy to help out on such a commission
[00:51:29] [SPEAKER_02]: if it were full.
[00:51:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, you're the greatest cutter
[00:51:32] [SPEAKER_00]: and I look at what you do.
[00:51:34] [SPEAKER_00]: You walk in and you just say,
[00:51:35] [SPEAKER_00]: you want to quit?
[00:51:37] [SPEAKER_00]: They go on strike.
[00:51:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I won't mention the name of the company,
[00:51:39] [SPEAKER_00]: but they go on strike and you say,
[00:51:41] [SPEAKER_00]: that's okay, you're all gone.
[00:51:42] [SPEAKER_00]: You're all gone.
[00:51:43] [SPEAKER_00]: So every one of you is gone
[00:51:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and you are the greatest.
[00:51:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You would be very good.
[00:51:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you would love it.
[00:51:48] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you look at our...
[00:51:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'd be happy to help out.
[00:51:50] [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, congratulations.
[00:51:52] [SPEAKER_00]: I just looked at the number of people
[00:51:53] [SPEAKER_00]: that are listening to you and I chat.
[00:51:55] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll call it a chat.
[00:51:58] [SPEAKER_00]: But congratulations.
[00:51:59] [SPEAKER_00]: This is very good.
[00:52:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's great.
[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_00]: And you're an interesting character.
[00:52:03] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, the new head of a place called Argentina
[00:52:10] [SPEAKER_00]: and he's a big...
[00:52:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Malay Poses.
[00:52:11] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, he's great.
[00:52:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And he's a big MAGA fan.
[00:52:14] [SPEAKER_00]: You know that he ran on MAGA
[00:52:16] [SPEAKER_00]: and he took it to an extreme too.
[00:52:18] [SPEAKER_00]: He ran on MAGA and I hear he's doing
[00:52:20] [SPEAKER_00]: really a terrific job.
[00:52:22] [SPEAKER_00]: It's called Make Argentina Great Again.
[00:52:24] [SPEAKER_00]: It worked out perfectly.
[00:52:25] [SPEAKER_00]: He came in, they bought a lot of hats.
[00:52:27] [SPEAKER_00]: He brought over, but he's doing a big job.
[00:52:29] [SPEAKER_00]: He really cut.
[00:52:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm hearing he's starting to do pretty well.
[00:52:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Inflation's getting down.
[00:52:35] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, they had like 2000%.
[00:52:36] [SPEAKER_00]: They had inflation like not normal inflation.
[00:52:40] [SPEAKER_00]: They had the real deal.
[00:52:43] [SPEAKER_00]: But we're gonna have that pretty soon.
[00:52:45] [SPEAKER_00]: We have...
[00:52:46] [SPEAKER_00]: I think we have the worst inflation
[00:52:47] [SPEAKER_00]: we've had in 100 years.
[00:52:48] [SPEAKER_00]: They say it's 48 years.
[00:52:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't believe it.
[00:52:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I think we have the worst.
[00:52:52] [SPEAKER_00]: They don't include a lot of the items
[00:52:54] [SPEAKER_00]: that should be included.
[00:52:56] [SPEAKER_00]: You know?
[00:52:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:52:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's just from government overspending
[00:53:00] [SPEAKER_02]: and not just not spending taxpayer money effectively
[00:53:04] [SPEAKER_02]: and having, you know, just department...
[00:53:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Like so many departments, you can't even name them all.
[00:53:10] [SPEAKER_02]: And what Malay is doing is,
[00:53:14] [SPEAKER_02]: you know, he's cutting government spending.
[00:53:16] [SPEAKER_02]: He's simplifying things.
[00:53:18] [SPEAKER_02]: He's putting in regulations that make sense.
[00:53:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And Argentina overnight is experiencing
[00:53:27] [SPEAKER_02]: a giant improvement in prosperity.
[00:53:30] [SPEAKER_02]: But it's also a lesson for the United States,
[00:53:32] [SPEAKER_02]: which is that Argentina used to be
[00:53:35] [SPEAKER_02]: one of the most prosperous countries in the world.
[00:53:38] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, I think in the 30s, 40s.
[00:53:42] [SPEAKER_02]: And because of bad government policy,
[00:53:45] [SPEAKER_02]: it ruined the country.
[00:53:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And if you take Venezuela, for example,
[00:53:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Venezuela should be incredibly prosperous.
[00:53:51] [SPEAKER_02]: They have phenomenal reserves of everything,
[00:53:56] [SPEAKER_02]: oil, everything.
[00:53:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And it should be prosperous,
[00:53:59] [SPEAKER_02]: but if the government's wrong,
[00:54:01] [SPEAKER_02]: it impoverishes the people.
[00:54:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And so I think we should not become placents
[00:54:06] [SPEAKER_02]: in the United States in thinking that
[00:54:07] [SPEAKER_02]: and taking our prosperity for granted,
[00:54:09] [SPEAKER_02]: because with bad government policy,
[00:54:12] [SPEAKER_02]: we can run the country to the ground.
[00:54:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And that's just something people should bear in mind.
[00:54:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't take prosperity for granted.
[00:54:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, think of education.
[00:54:20] [SPEAKER_00]: So we're ranked at the bottom of every list
[00:54:22] [SPEAKER_00]: of the top 40.
[00:54:23] [SPEAKER_00]: We're ranked number 40, number 38.
[00:54:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Norway, Switzerland, Sweden,
[00:54:30] [SPEAKER_00]: different countries are ranked good.
[00:54:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Actually China's pretty close to the top.
[00:54:35] [SPEAKER_00]: They're a top six or seven.
[00:54:37] [SPEAKER_00]: But we're ranked at the bottom,
[00:54:39] [SPEAKER_00]: almost at the bottom, 38, 39, 40.
[00:54:42] [SPEAKER_00]: In other words, horrible.
[00:54:43] [SPEAKER_00]: And yet we spend more per pupil
[00:54:45] [SPEAKER_00]: than any other country in the world.
[00:54:46] [SPEAKER_00]: So we spend more.
[00:54:48] [SPEAKER_00]: And what I'm gonna do, one of the first acts,
[00:54:50] [SPEAKER_00]: and this is where I need an Elon Musk.
[00:54:52] [SPEAKER_00]: I need somebody that has a lot of strength
[00:54:55] [SPEAKER_00]: and courage and smarts.
[00:54:56] [SPEAKER_00]: I wanna close up Department of Education,
[00:54:58] [SPEAKER_00]: move education back to the states
[00:55:01] [SPEAKER_00]: where states like Iowa,
[00:55:04] [SPEAKER_00]: where states like Idaho.
[00:55:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Not every state will do great
[00:55:08] [SPEAKER_00]: because states that basically aren't doing good now,
[00:55:11] [SPEAKER_00]: you look at Gavin Newsom,
[00:55:13] [SPEAKER_00]: the governor of California,
[00:55:16] [SPEAKER_00]: he's terrible, he does a terrible job.
[00:55:18] [SPEAKER_00]: So he's not gonna do great with education.
[00:55:20] [SPEAKER_00]: But of the 50, I would bet that 35 would do great.
[00:55:26] [SPEAKER_00]: And 15 of them or 20 of them
[00:55:30] [SPEAKER_00]: will be as good as Norway.
[00:55:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Norway is considered great.
[00:55:35] [SPEAKER_00]: You can name them.
[00:55:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, just they're so good.
[00:55:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Some of these countries are so good.
[00:55:39] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you go into some of these really well-run states,
[00:55:43] [SPEAKER_00]: we have states that don't know what debt is.
[00:55:45] [SPEAKER_00]: We have states that have low taxes, no debt,
[00:55:49] [SPEAKER_00]: everybody working, they're really well-run.
[00:55:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And maybe they have certain advantages
[00:55:54] [SPEAKER_00]: in terms of location,
[00:55:55] [SPEAKER_00]: in terms of the land or the sun
[00:55:59] [SPEAKER_00]: and the water and the whole thing.
[00:56:00] [SPEAKER_00]: There are a lot of advantages that some people have.
[00:56:02] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you moved education back to the 50,
[00:56:06] [SPEAKER_00]: you'll have some that won't do well,
[00:56:08] [SPEAKER_00]: but they'll actually be forced to do better
[00:56:10] [SPEAKER_00]: because it'll be a pretty bad situation.
[00:56:13] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you think about it,
[00:56:14] [SPEAKER_00]: you'll have some of these states.
[00:56:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll bet you'd have 30, 35 states.
[00:56:18] [SPEAKER_00]: It'll be much better.
[00:56:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And you know what it'll cost?
[00:56:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Less than half what it is in Washington.
[00:56:24] [SPEAKER_00]: And these people don't care about students
[00:56:26] [SPEAKER_00]: in these far away states.
[00:56:29] [SPEAKER_00]: And it will be unbelievable.
[00:56:31] Yeah.
[00:56:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I think you're making a good point in that
[00:56:35] [SPEAKER_02]: if the states have to,
[00:56:37] [SPEAKER_02]: if each individual,
[00:56:38] [SPEAKER_02]: if each state has to compete against other states,
[00:56:40] [SPEAKER_02]: then people will naturally move
[00:56:42] [SPEAKER_02]: to states where it's better.
[00:56:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, like California,
[00:56:46] [SPEAKER_00]: as we said, it's a badly run state.
[00:56:49] [SPEAKER_00]: I can go through,
[00:56:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I got so many friends that are in those states,
[00:56:52] [SPEAKER_00]: even if they're Democrats,
[00:56:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I hate to mention certain states,
[00:56:55] [SPEAKER_00]: but Illinois is badly run with Pritzker.
[00:56:57] [SPEAKER_00]: He's a real loser.
[00:56:59] [SPEAKER_00]: But some of these places are just badly run.
[00:57:04] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's almost gonna force them to run better
[00:57:06] [SPEAKER_00]: and they won't do good initially,
[00:57:08] [SPEAKER_00]: but you're not gonna do worse than you're doing right now.
[00:57:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And I would say that the cost,
[00:57:13] [SPEAKER_00]: you would cut your cost by 50 or 60%.
[00:57:16] [SPEAKER_00]: And you'd have a little monitor.
[00:57:18] [SPEAKER_00]: You wanna make sure they're teaching English
[00:57:20] [SPEAKER_00]: as an example.
[00:57:21] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, give us a little English, right?
[00:57:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Sure, yeah.
[00:57:24] [SPEAKER_02]: No, but I mean,
[00:57:25] [SPEAKER_02]: to what I mean,
[00:57:26] [SPEAKER_02]: some of these governors are doing so badly.
[00:57:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they got so many people moving
[00:57:31] [SPEAKER_02]: out of their state,
[00:57:31] [SPEAKER_02]: they should get U-Haul Salesman of the Year Award
[00:57:34] [SPEAKER_02]: because they're driving so much U-Haul.
[00:57:36] [SPEAKER_00]: It's actually amazing.
[00:57:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, people move it out.
[00:57:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Isn't it amazing to you as a businessman
[00:57:42] [SPEAKER_00]: that they can even survive?
[00:57:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Like Illinois, so many people are leaving
[00:57:46] [SPEAKER_00]: and you wonder how do they survive?
[00:57:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, how do they survive?
[00:57:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I saw where you left California
[00:57:53] [SPEAKER_00]: and you moved to Texas.
[00:57:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Texas does a great job.
[00:57:57] [SPEAKER_00]: But you know what I mean?
[00:57:57] [SPEAKER_00]: I just wonder,
[00:57:58] [SPEAKER_00]: how do these states survive
[00:58:01] [SPEAKER_00]: when big businesses,
[00:58:03] [SPEAKER_00]: a big oil company just left California,
[00:58:04] [SPEAKER_00]: as you know,
[00:58:05] [SPEAKER_00]: and they moved to Texas.
[00:58:06] [SPEAKER_00]: How do these big states survive
[00:58:08] [SPEAKER_00]: when they lose so many businesses
[00:58:12] [SPEAKER_00]: and their taxes are already really high?
[00:58:14] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, the taxes are among the highest taxes.
[00:58:17] [SPEAKER_00]: You almost wonder how do they continue on?
[00:58:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And in many cases,
[00:58:21] [SPEAKER_00]: the governors don't do a good job
[00:58:23] [SPEAKER_00]: in their crime-ridden places.
[00:58:25] [SPEAKER_00]: You wonder how do they continue to just go on?
[00:58:28] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not a good situation.
[00:58:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think the thing
[00:58:32] [SPEAKER_02]: that's the only thing that's gonna force
[00:58:34] [SPEAKER_02]: some of these states to change
[00:58:35] [SPEAKER_02]: is if they risk bankruptcy
[00:58:36] [SPEAKER_02]: and they're not getting bailed out
[00:58:37] [SPEAKER_02]: by the federal government.
[00:58:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's the only thing
[00:58:41] [SPEAKER_00]: that's gonna get them changed.
[00:58:42] [SPEAKER_00]: You remember the area in California
[00:58:44] [SPEAKER_00]: where they had that,
[00:58:45] [SPEAKER_00]: where I guess somebody had sticky fingers
[00:58:47] [SPEAKER_00]: and they sold a lot of money
[00:58:49] [SPEAKER_00]: and they went into a form of chapter
[00:58:54] [SPEAKER_00]: and it was very nasty for a period of time
[00:58:56] [SPEAKER_00]: but now it's probably the most popular place
[00:58:58] [SPEAKER_00]: in all of California.
[00:59:00] [SPEAKER_00]: So you know, at some point,
[00:59:02] [SPEAKER_00]: something like that may have to happen.
[00:59:03] [SPEAKER_00]: But the problem is you can't penalize people
[00:59:07] [SPEAKER_00]: that loan money to the state
[00:59:09] [SPEAKER_00]: when you have incompetent people
[00:59:10] [SPEAKER_00]: like a Pritzker.
[00:59:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Look, the family didn't want him
[00:59:13] [SPEAKER_00]: in the family business
[00:59:15] [SPEAKER_00]: and then he ends up being governor of Illinois.
[00:59:17] [SPEAKER_00]: So you know, is he gonna be a great governor?
[00:59:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And you know, you have people,
[00:59:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I could name every one of them.
[00:59:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I got to know every one of these
[00:59:25] [SPEAKER_00]: and some are very good
[00:59:26] [SPEAKER_00]: and some are just horrible.
[00:59:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I think that,
[00:59:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that larger point here too,
[00:59:31] [SPEAKER_02]: as you're saying,
[00:59:33] [SPEAKER_02]: a lot of people are concerned about the economy,
[00:59:34] [SPEAKER_02]: a lot of people are concerned about inflation
[00:59:36] [SPEAKER_02]: and inflation is effectively a tax
[00:59:37] [SPEAKER_02]: on people that save money
[00:59:40] [SPEAKER_02]: and for people that are working day to day.
[00:59:43] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just a form of taxation
[00:59:46] [SPEAKER_02]: and if we can solve the government spending problem,
[00:59:49] [SPEAKER_02]: we'll solve the inflation problem
[00:59:50] [SPEAKER_02]: which means people will have
[00:59:52] [SPEAKER_02]: a better standard of living
[00:59:52] [SPEAKER_02]: and that's a really big deal.
[00:59:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, the people that got hurt worst
[00:59:55] [SPEAKER_00]: are the people that did it
[00:59:58] [SPEAKER_00]: the way they were taught to do it
[00:59:59] [SPEAKER_00]: all through their younger life
[01:00:02] [SPEAKER_00]: their young life and their whole life.
[01:00:05] [SPEAKER_00]: The people that saved money
[01:00:06] [SPEAKER_00]: and then they got no interest on their money
[01:00:09] [SPEAKER_00]: and inflation destroyed them
[01:00:11] [SPEAKER_00]: and frankly, they were almost better off
[01:00:13] [SPEAKER_00]: if they didn't do anything like that.
[01:00:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, those people have been absolutely decimated
[01:00:17] [SPEAKER_00]: and we're gonna bring those people back
[01:00:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and help those people.
[01:00:20] [SPEAKER_00]: We've got to get the prices down.
[01:00:22] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, when I look at bacon costing five,
[01:00:25] [SPEAKER_00]: four or five times more than it did a few years ago,
[01:00:27] [SPEAKER_00]: when you look at some of the food products
[01:00:29] [SPEAKER_00]: and groceries, those people go, they can't believe it.
[01:00:32] [SPEAKER_00]: They used to be able to buy a whole cart
[01:00:34] [SPEAKER_00]: and today, you know, a lot of people
[01:00:36] [SPEAKER_00]: just don't have the money.
[01:00:38] [SPEAKER_00]: They go in and they can't buy anything.
[01:00:40] [SPEAKER_00]: They look at, it's sticker shock.
[01:00:43] [SPEAKER_02]: They call it sticker shock, right?
[01:00:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it really just comes down to,
[01:00:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess two things which is that
[01:00:51] [SPEAKER_02]: if you solve government overspending,
[01:00:53] [SPEAKER_02]: you solve inflation
[01:00:54] [SPEAKER_02]: which improves living standards of the average person
[01:00:57] [SPEAKER_02]: and then if you deregulate,
[01:01:00] [SPEAKER_02]: like have sensible regulations
[01:01:02] [SPEAKER_02]: because a lot of the regulations are nonsensical
[01:01:05] [SPEAKER_02]: and cause the cost to be extreme for no reason
[01:01:09] [SPEAKER_02]: and but unless you've got effective deregulation
[01:01:12] [SPEAKER_02]: like Reagan did a great job on deregulation in the 80s
[01:01:15] [SPEAKER_02]: but it's been 40 years since we had anyone really,
[01:01:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, during your administration,
[01:01:20] [SPEAKER_02]: we made some progress
[01:01:21] [SPEAKER_02]: but I think the cherry to make,
[01:01:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I think radical progress with sensible regulation
[01:01:28] [SPEAKER_02]: and if you, those two things, yeah.
[01:01:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Those are the big deals.
[01:01:33] [SPEAKER_00]: We set a record.
[01:01:35] [SPEAKER_00]: We did more deregulation and more restrictions
[01:01:40] [SPEAKER_00]: on all of the different businesses
[01:01:41] [SPEAKER_00]: than any other president.
[01:01:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Remember I had the rule for every one we put in,
[01:01:46] [SPEAKER_00]: you have to get rid of 10 or 12
[01:01:48] [SPEAKER_00]: and we did radical cuts on all of that
[01:01:51] [SPEAKER_00]: and a lot of that's being put back by this administration
[01:01:54] [SPEAKER_00]: and we did radical cuts on things that weren't necessary
[01:01:57] [SPEAKER_00]: but we were all set.
[01:01:59] [SPEAKER_00]: We had the best economy ever maybe in the world
[01:02:03] [SPEAKER_00]: and then what happened is COVID came in
[01:02:05] [SPEAKER_00]: and we had to focus on that
[01:02:07] [SPEAKER_00]: and nobody knew what it was
[01:02:09] [SPEAKER_00]: and I always say I got good marks on economy,
[01:02:11] [SPEAKER_00]: good marks on military.
[01:02:12] [SPEAKER_00]: We knocked out ISIS.
[01:02:13] [SPEAKER_00]: We did so many different things.
[01:02:15] [SPEAKER_00]: We rebuilt
[01:02:15] [SPEAKER_00]: but I never got the credit
[01:02:19] [SPEAKER_00]: that we really deserved on what we did with COVID.
[01:02:22] [SPEAKER_00]: We never got the credit
[01:02:23] [SPEAKER_00]: but had that not happened,
[01:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: the gift from China, from Wuhan,
[01:02:30] [SPEAKER_00]: came in from Wuhan, the Wuhan labs
[01:02:32] [SPEAKER_00]: and I always said it and it turned out to be right
[01:02:35] [SPEAKER_00]: but had that not happened,
[01:02:38] [SPEAKER_00]: we were set to start reducing debt.
[01:02:41] [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna reduce taxes further.
[01:02:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I gave the largest tax cuts
[01:02:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and we were gonna reduce taxes still further
[01:02:46] [SPEAKER_00]: for middle income people, not only businesses
[01:02:48] [SPEAKER_00]: but we did it for businesses
[01:02:50] [SPEAKER_00]: because they're the ones that,
[01:02:51] [SPEAKER_00]: that's why we had the great job numbers
[01:02:53] [SPEAKER_00]: but we were set to really start reducing debt
[01:02:57] [SPEAKER_00]: and we were sitting on the biggest pile of liquid gold
[01:03:02] [SPEAKER_00]: anywhere in the world,
[01:03:03] [SPEAKER_00]: bigger than Saudi Arabia, bigger than Russia
[01:03:06] [SPEAKER_00]: and we were gonna drill
[01:03:07] [SPEAKER_00]: and we were gonna make so much money.
[01:03:08] [SPEAKER_00]: We were gonna supply Europe with oil.
[01:03:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I had stopped the Russian pipeline
[01:03:12] [SPEAKER_00]: and we were gonna supply them with oil and gas.
[01:03:15] [SPEAKER_00]: We were gonna make a fortune
[01:03:17] [SPEAKER_00]: and then the COVID came in
[01:03:20] [SPEAKER_00]: and we really had to divert.
[01:03:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Then what happened is when they came in,
[01:03:25] [SPEAKER_00]: we kept a lot of businesses alive.
[01:03:27] [SPEAKER_00]: If I didn't do what we did,
[01:03:28] [SPEAKER_00]: we would have had a 1929 type depression
[01:03:31] [SPEAKER_00]: but the problem is when Biden came in,
[01:03:34] [SPEAKER_00]: he got trillions of dollars
[01:03:35] [SPEAKER_00]: and just started spending it stupidly.
[01:03:37] [SPEAKER_00]: You didn't need it anymore.
[01:03:39] [SPEAKER_00]: We got over that bad period
[01:03:40] [SPEAKER_00]: where it was everybody dying
[01:03:42] [SPEAKER_00]: and it was just not a good period.
[01:03:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Interestingly, during his administration,
[01:03:50] [SPEAKER_00]: many more people died
[01:03:52] [SPEAKER_00]: during his administration of COVID
[01:03:54] [SPEAKER_00]: than during my administration
[01:03:56] [SPEAKER_00]: and we really got the brunt of it
[01:03:58] [SPEAKER_00]: but people don't realize more people died
[01:04:00] [SPEAKER_00]: during his administration than ours
[01:04:02] [SPEAKER_00]: but it diverted us from doing what I wanted to do
[01:04:06] [SPEAKER_00]: but we had the greatest for almost three years.
[01:04:09] [SPEAKER_00]: We had the greatest
[01:04:10] [SPEAKER_00]: and you know that probably better than anybody.
[01:04:12] [SPEAKER_00]: So many of your friends said to me,
[01:04:14] [SPEAKER_00]: the best years we've ever had in business
[01:04:17] [SPEAKER_00]: were during the Trump years
[01:04:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and also said that African-American,
[01:04:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Hispanic-American were so incredible.
[01:04:27] [SPEAKER_00]: They were having the best Asian-American women, men,
[01:04:30] [SPEAKER_00]: young people without a diploma,
[01:04:32] [SPEAKER_00]: young people that graduated from the best colleges,
[01:04:35] [SPEAKER_00]: from MIT, from the Wharton School,
[01:04:38] [SPEAKER_00]: from all of the great colleges, Harvard.
[01:04:41] [SPEAKER_00]: They were doing better
[01:04:42] [SPEAKER_00]: and people without a diploma were doing better
[01:04:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and everybody was happy.
[01:04:47] [SPEAKER_00]: And then COVID came and we had,
[01:04:49] [SPEAKER_00]: the problem is they spent trillions
[01:04:51] [SPEAKER_00]: and trillions of dollars they wasted.
[01:04:53] [SPEAKER_00]: They shouldn't have taken any money
[01:04:55] [SPEAKER_00]: and we wouldn't be having inflation right now
[01:04:57] [SPEAKER_00]: which is killing our country.
[01:04:59] Yeah, yeah.
[01:05:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, absolutely.
[01:05:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I should probably say something about like,
[01:05:03] [SPEAKER_02]: you know, maybe my views on climate change
[01:05:05] [SPEAKER_02]: and oil and gas
[01:05:08] [SPEAKER_02]: because I think it'll probably differ
[01:05:11] [SPEAKER_02]: from what most people would assume
[01:05:14] [SPEAKER_02]: because my views are actually pretty,
[01:05:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I think moderate in this regard
[01:05:17] [SPEAKER_02]: which is that I don't think we should vilify
[01:05:20] [SPEAKER_02]: the oil and gas industry
[01:05:21] [SPEAKER_02]: and the people that have worked very hard
[01:05:23] [SPEAKER_02]: in those industries to provide the necessary energy
[01:05:26] [SPEAKER_02]: to support the economy
[01:05:28] [SPEAKER_02]: and if we were to stop using oil and gas right now,
[01:05:31] [SPEAKER_02]: we would all be starving
[01:05:32] [SPEAKER_02]: and the economy would collapse.
[01:05:35] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's, you know,
[01:05:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it's right to sort of vilify
[01:05:38] [SPEAKER_02]: the oil and gas industry
[01:05:39] [SPEAKER_02]: and I, you know, the world has a certain demand
[01:05:43] [SPEAKER_02]: for oil and gas
[01:05:45] [SPEAKER_02]: and it's probably better if the United States provides that
[01:05:47] [SPEAKER_02]: than some other countries
[01:05:50] [SPEAKER_02]: and it would help with prosperity in the US
[01:05:53] [SPEAKER_02]: and at the same time, obviously my view is like,
[01:05:56] [SPEAKER_02]: we do over time wanna move to a sustainable energy economy
[01:06:00] [SPEAKER_02]: because eventually you do run out of,
[01:06:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you run out of oil and gas.
[01:06:05] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not infinite
[01:06:07] [SPEAKER_02]: and there is some risk.
[01:06:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it's not,
[01:06:11] [SPEAKER_02]: the risk is not as high as,
[01:06:14] [SPEAKER_02]: you know, a lot of people say it is
[01:06:15] [SPEAKER_02]: with respect to global warming
[01:06:16] [SPEAKER_02]: but I think if you just keep increasing
[01:06:19] [SPEAKER_02]: the cost per million in the atmosphere long enough,
[01:06:22] [SPEAKER_02]: eventually it actually simply gets uncomfortable
[01:06:25] [SPEAKER_02]: to breathe.
[01:06:26] [SPEAKER_02]: People don't realize this.
[01:06:28] [SPEAKER_02]: If you go past a thousand plus per million of CO2,
[01:06:32] [SPEAKER_02]: you start getting headaches and nausea
[01:06:34] [SPEAKER_02]: and so we're now in the sort of 400 range.
[01:06:38] [SPEAKER_02]: We're adding, I think about roughly two parts
[01:06:41] [SPEAKER_02]: per million per year.
[01:06:43] [SPEAKER_02]: So, I mean, it still gives us,
[01:06:44] [SPEAKER_02]: so what it means is like,
[01:06:46] [SPEAKER_02]: we still have quite a bit of time
[01:06:49] [SPEAKER_02]: so there's not like, we don't need to rush
[01:06:51] [SPEAKER_02]: and we don't need to like, you know,
[01:06:53] [SPEAKER_02]: stop farmers from farming or, you know,
[01:06:56] [SPEAKER_02]: prevent people from having stakes
[01:06:58] [SPEAKER_02]: or basic stuff like that.
[01:07:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, leave the farmers alone.
[01:07:02] [SPEAKER_00]: How crazy is that where, I mean,
[01:07:04] [SPEAKER_00]: you have farmers that are not allowed to farm anymore
[01:07:07] [SPEAKER_00]: and have to get rid of their cattle
[01:07:08] [SPEAKER_00]: and the whole world is a little crazy
[01:07:11] [SPEAKER_00]: but it's largely taken its lead from us.
[01:07:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I just say though,
[01:07:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I've heard in terms of the fossil fuels
[01:07:18] [SPEAKER_00]: because even to create your electric car
[01:07:23] [SPEAKER_00]: and create the electricity needed for the electric car,
[01:07:26] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, fossil fuel is what really creates that
[01:07:29] [SPEAKER_00]: at the generating plants
[01:07:30] [SPEAKER_00]: and, you know, so you sort of can't get away from it
[01:07:33] [SPEAKER_00]: at this moment.
[01:07:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, someday you might be able to
[01:07:36] [SPEAKER_00]: but I do hear we have anywhere
[01:07:37] [SPEAKER_00]: from a hundred to 500 years left.
[01:07:40] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, much of it hasn't even been found yet
[01:07:42] [SPEAKER_00]: but there were tremendous, like ANWR,
[01:07:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I got ANWR in Alaska approved.
[01:07:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Ronald Reagan couldn't do it, nobody could do it.
[01:07:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody tried, nobody could do it.
[01:07:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I got it approved.
[01:07:52] [SPEAKER_00]: The first thing that Biden did was unimprove it
[01:07:56] [SPEAKER_00]: to get rid of it.
[01:07:58] [SPEAKER_00]: He ended it.
[01:08:00] [SPEAKER_00]: His secretary went in and she ended it.
[01:08:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And what a disgrace, that's ANWR.
[01:08:06] [SPEAKER_00]: That's bigger or they think it could be bigger
[01:08:08] [SPEAKER_00]: than Saudi Arabia in Alaska.
[01:08:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Could be bigger than Saudi Arabia
[01:08:12] [SPEAKER_00]: but they went in and they terminated it
[01:08:15] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'll get it going very quickly
[01:08:16] [SPEAKER_00]: because not only is it big for Alaska,
[01:08:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you talk about economic development
[01:08:21] [SPEAKER_00]: that for the United States, I mean, that is,
[01:08:24] [SPEAKER_00]: they say bigger than Saudi Arabia or the same size
[01:08:28] [SPEAKER_00]: and pure, really good stuff.
[01:08:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And you know, they ended it.
[01:08:33] [SPEAKER_00]: So I think we have, you know, perhaps hundreds of years
[01:08:36] [SPEAKER_00]: left, nobody really knows, but during that time
[01:08:39] [SPEAKER_00]: something will come around that will be very good.
[01:08:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, my estimate would be, you know,
[01:08:46] [SPEAKER_02]: a little more aggressive than that
[01:08:48] [SPEAKER_02]: but it's not the sort of like,
[01:08:49] [SPEAKER_02]: we're all gonna die in five years stuff.
[01:08:51] [SPEAKER_02]: That's obviously BS.
[01:08:54] [SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, my view is like,
[01:08:55] [SPEAKER_02]: if you just look at sort of the posthumillion
[01:08:58] [SPEAKER_02]: that increments every year, you know,
[01:09:00] [SPEAKER_02]: you get sort of two or three posthumillion
[01:09:01] [SPEAKER_02]: every year of CO2.
[01:09:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think some of that,
[01:09:07] [SPEAKER_02]: it's problematic if it accelerates
[01:09:09] [SPEAKER_02]: if you start going from two or three to say five
[01:09:11] [SPEAKER_02]: and then there may be some situations where
[01:09:15] [SPEAKER_02]: you get a step change increase in the CO2
[01:09:20] [SPEAKER_02]: and I think we don't wanna get too close
[01:09:24] [SPEAKER_02]: to a thousand PPM because like that's actually
[01:09:27] [SPEAKER_02]: makes it uncomfortable to breathe.
[01:09:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Like just existing in a thousand PPM CO2 is uncomfortable.
[01:09:35] [SPEAKER_02]: That's like a,
[01:09:36] [SPEAKER_02]: that's considered like an industrial hazard.
[01:09:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Just so it's, you know,
[01:09:42] [SPEAKER_02]: that's actually start getting headaches and stuff.
[01:09:44] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's even without global warming,
[01:09:46] [SPEAKER_02]: it's not comfortable to live.
[01:09:47] [SPEAKER_02]: So we don't wanna get too close to that
[01:09:49] [SPEAKER_02]: but I mean, I think we've got,
[01:09:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I think we wanna just move over
[01:09:53] [SPEAKER_02]: and like, and if, I don't know,
[01:09:55] [SPEAKER_02]: 50 to 100 years from now we're,
[01:09:58] [SPEAKER_02]: we're, I don't know, mostly sustainable.
[01:10:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I think that'll probably be okay.
[01:10:05] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's not like the house is on fire immediately
[01:10:08] [SPEAKER_02]: but I think it is something we need to move towards
[01:10:11] [SPEAKER_02]: and on, you know, on balance
[01:10:14] [SPEAKER_02]: it's probably better to move there faster than slower
[01:10:19] [SPEAKER_02]: but like I said, without vilifying the oil and gas industry
[01:10:23] [SPEAKER_02]: and without causing hardship in the short term
[01:10:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I think this can be done
[01:10:29] [SPEAKER_02]: with without, you know,
[01:10:30] [SPEAKER_02]: people can still have, you know, a stake
[01:10:33] [SPEAKER_02]: and they can still drive gasoline cars
[01:10:37] [SPEAKER_02]: and it's okay.
[01:10:39] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like, it's not,
[01:10:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we should vilify people for it
[01:10:41] [SPEAKER_02]: but I think we should just generally lean
[01:10:43] [SPEAKER_02]: in the direction of sustainability
[01:10:47] [SPEAKER_02]: and I actually think solar is gonna be
[01:10:50] [SPEAKER_02]: a majority of us energy generation in the future
[01:10:54] [SPEAKER_02]: and it's certainly trending that way
[01:10:56] [SPEAKER_02]: and so you get the solar power,
[01:10:59] [SPEAKER_02]: mind that with batteries
[01:11:01] [SPEAKER_02]: so because obviously the sun doesn't shine at night
[01:11:03] [SPEAKER_02]: and then you use that to charge the electric cars
[01:11:06] [SPEAKER_02]: and you have a long-term sustainable solution
[01:11:09] [SPEAKER_02]: and you know, that's what Tesla's trying
[01:11:11] [SPEAKER_02]: to move things towards
[01:11:11] [SPEAKER_02]: and I think we've made a lot of progress
[01:11:13] [SPEAKER_02]: in that regard
[01:11:14] [SPEAKER_02]: but when you look at our cars,
[01:11:16] [SPEAKER_02]: like we don't believe that environmentalism,
[01:11:19] [SPEAKER_02]: that caring about the environment
[01:11:20] [SPEAKER_02]: should mean that you have to suffer
[01:11:22] [SPEAKER_02]: so we make sure that our cars are beautiful,
[01:11:24] [SPEAKER_02]: that they drive well,
[01:11:25] [SPEAKER_02]: that they're fast,
[01:11:27] [SPEAKER_02]: they're sexy,
[01:11:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they're cool.
[01:11:29] [SPEAKER_02]: In fact, literally,
[01:11:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the sexies are Model S,
[01:11:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Model 3, Model X and Y spells out sexy
[01:11:34] [SPEAKER_02]: is probably the most expensive joke out there
[01:11:37] [SPEAKER_02]: but I just, I don't know,
[01:11:38] [SPEAKER_02]: like cheesy humor, you know, so
[01:11:41] [SPEAKER_02]: and but I'm a big fan of like,
[01:11:44] [SPEAKER_02]: let's have an inspiring future
[01:11:45] [SPEAKER_02]: and let's work towards, you know, a better future
[01:11:49] [SPEAKER_02]: and we can do so without demonizing people.
[01:11:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Right, I'm okay.
[01:11:53] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's very interesting,
[01:11:55] [SPEAKER_00]: you use the word global warming
[01:11:57] [SPEAKER_00]: and today they use the word climate change
[01:11:59] [SPEAKER_00]: because you know, you have some places that go up
[01:12:01] [SPEAKER_00]: and you said they were getting themselves
[01:12:03] [SPEAKER_00]: in a little trouble with the word global warming
[01:12:05] [SPEAKER_00]: because not every place is warming,
[01:12:07] [SPEAKER_00]: some places are going the opposite direction
[01:12:08] [SPEAKER_00]: but you know, I'm sort of waiting for you
[01:12:11] [SPEAKER_00]: to come up with solar panels on the roofs of your cars
[01:12:15] [SPEAKER_00]: and on the trunks of the cars
[01:12:16] [SPEAKER_00]: and it just seems like something
[01:12:18] [SPEAKER_00]: that at some point you will come up with,
[01:12:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure you'll be the first
[01:12:21] [SPEAKER_00]: but it would seem that a solar panel
[01:12:24] [SPEAKER_00]: on the roofs, you know, on flat surfaces,
[01:12:26] [SPEAKER_00]: on certain surfaces might be good
[01:12:28] [SPEAKER_00]: at least in certain areas of the country
[01:12:30] [SPEAKER_00]: where you have the, or the world
[01:12:31] [SPEAKER_00]: where you have the sun
[01:12:33] [SPEAKER_00]: but I would think
[01:12:35] [SPEAKER_00]: and I have no idea because that's not my world
[01:12:37] [SPEAKER_00]: but I would think that this would be something
[01:12:39] [SPEAKER_00]: that would be interesting
[01:12:40] [SPEAKER_00]: but you know, the one thing that I don't understand
[01:12:43] [SPEAKER_00]: is that people talk about global warming
[01:12:46] [SPEAKER_00]: or they talk about climate change
[01:12:48] [SPEAKER_00]: but they never talk about nuclear warming
[01:12:50] [SPEAKER_00]: and for me that's an immediate problem
[01:12:53] [SPEAKER_00]: because you have, as I said, five countries
[01:12:56] [SPEAKER_00]: where you have major nuclear
[01:12:57] [SPEAKER_00]: and you know, probably some others are getting there
[01:13:01] [SPEAKER_00]: and that's very dangerous
[01:13:02] [SPEAKER_00]: that's why you need a strong American president
[01:13:04] [SPEAKER_00]: because you just,
[01:13:05] [SPEAKER_00]: you don't wanna have this proliferation
[01:13:07] [SPEAKER_00]: but you have five countries and getting more,
[01:13:11] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, China is much less than us right now
[01:13:13] [SPEAKER_00]: but they're gonna catch us sooner than people think
[01:13:17] [SPEAKER_00]: they're way lower.
[01:13:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Russia and us are number one
[01:13:21] [SPEAKER_00]: and we were sort of tied
[01:13:22] [SPEAKER_00]: and China's far behind
[01:13:24] [SPEAKER_00]: but they're developing at a level
[01:13:26] [SPEAKER_00]: that you know, you're not surprised to hear very fast.
[01:13:28] [SPEAKER_00]: It's gonna, they'll end up catching up
[01:13:31] [SPEAKER_00]: maybe even surpassing
[01:13:32] [SPEAKER_00]: but to me the biggest problem
[01:13:34] [SPEAKER_00]: is not climate change, it's not
[01:13:38] [SPEAKER_00]: and everything's a problem but it's degrees.
[01:13:41] [SPEAKER_00]: To me the big problem is the nuclear power.
[01:13:44] [SPEAKER_00]: The power of nuclear is so great
[01:13:47] [SPEAKER_00]: and when I talk about
[01:13:49] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll prevent World War III, I will
[01:13:52] [SPEAKER_00]: but the truth is that you have to
[01:13:55] [SPEAKER_00]: because this is no longer army tanks
[01:13:57] [SPEAKER_00]: going back and forth and shooting at each other
[01:13:59] [SPEAKER_00]: this is a level of destruction and power
[01:14:02] [SPEAKER_00]: that nobody's ever seen before.
[01:14:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, actually there's the bad side of nuclear
[01:14:09] [SPEAKER_02]: which is nuclear war, very bad side
[01:14:10] [SPEAKER_02]: but there's also I think nuclear electricity generation
[01:14:15] [SPEAKER_02]: is underrated. Absolutely, you're right.
[01:14:17] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's actually, you know, people have this fear
[01:14:20] [SPEAKER_02]: of nuclear electricity generation
[01:14:23] [SPEAKER_02]: but it's actually one of the safest forms
[01:14:25] [SPEAKER_02]: of electricity generation.
[01:14:27] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just a huge misunderstanding
[01:14:30] [SPEAKER_02]: and if you look at the injuries in desk
[01:14:32] [SPEAKER_02]: caused by say, I mean, I'm not trying to pick
[01:14:35] [SPEAKER_02]: on coal mining but just any kind of mining operation
[01:14:38] [SPEAKER_02]: and there's a certain number of injuries in desk per year
[01:14:42] [SPEAKER_02]: you compare that to nuclear.
[01:14:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Nuclear is actually way better
[01:14:46] [SPEAKER_02]: so it's underrated as an electricity source
[01:14:48] [SPEAKER_02]: and I think it's something that's worth reconsidering
[01:14:50] [SPEAKER_02]: but there's so much regulation
[01:14:52] [SPEAKER_02]: that people can't get it done.
[01:14:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe they'll have to change the name.
[01:14:57] [SPEAKER_00]: The name is a rough name.
[01:14:59] [SPEAKER_00]: There are some areas like when you see what happened
[01:15:02] [SPEAKER_00]: you have to rebrand it.
[01:15:04] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll have to give it a good name.
[01:15:05] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll name it after you or something.
[01:15:07] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, it has a branding problem.
[01:15:11] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, when you see what happened
[01:15:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I just have a branding problem.
[01:15:14] [SPEAKER_00]: When you see what happened in Japan
[01:15:16] [SPEAKER_00]: where they say you won't be able to go on the land
[01:15:18] [SPEAKER_00]: for about 3000 years.
[01:15:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Did you ever see that?
[01:15:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And in Russia where they had the problem
[01:15:22] [SPEAKER_00]: where there's a lot of bad things happened
[01:15:25] [SPEAKER_00]: and they have a problem and they say that
[01:15:27] [SPEAKER_00]: in 2000 years people start to occupy the land again.
[01:15:31] [SPEAKER_00]: You realize it's pretty bad.
[01:15:33] [SPEAKER_00]: No, that's not true.
[01:15:34] [SPEAKER_00]: But you write about it.
[01:15:35] [SPEAKER_00]: It's amazing.
[01:15:36] [SPEAKER_02]: It's actually not that bad.
[01:15:38] [SPEAKER_02]: So like after Fukushima happened in Japan
[01:15:41] [SPEAKER_02]: people were asking me in California
[01:15:44] [SPEAKER_02]: are we worried about a nuclear cloud coming from Japan?
[01:15:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm like no, that's crazy.
[01:15:48] [SPEAKER_02]: It's actually, it's not even dangerous in Fukushima.
[01:15:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I actually flew there and ate locally grown vegetables
[01:15:53] [SPEAKER_02]: on TV to prove it.
[01:15:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And I donated a solar water treatment,
[01:15:59] [SPEAKER_02]: a solar powered system for a water treatment plant.
[01:16:03] [SPEAKER_02]: But you haven't been feeling so well lately
[01:16:05] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'm worried about it.
[01:16:06] [SPEAKER_02]: No, no, but I'm only getting mine.
[01:16:09] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed
[01:16:13] [SPEAKER_02]: but now they're full cities again.
[01:16:16] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's really not something that,
[01:16:20] [SPEAKER_02]: it's not as scary as people think basically.
[01:16:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's see, I mean are there some other topics
[01:16:26] [SPEAKER_02]: we should touch on?
[01:16:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Like lawfare I think we need to be concerned about.
[01:16:31] [SPEAKER_02]: What they've done to this country.
[01:16:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Obviously.
[01:16:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, we just won the big case in Florida.
[01:16:37] [SPEAKER_00]: This was a Biden administration
[01:16:39] [SPEAKER_00]: did something that's never been done in this country
[01:16:42] [SPEAKER_00]: and that's go after their political opponent me
[01:16:45] [SPEAKER_00]: with this nonsense and just nonsense.
[01:16:48] [SPEAKER_00]: And the big case in Florida we won
[01:16:51] [SPEAKER_00]: but they always pick a judge
[01:16:53] [SPEAKER_00]: and they use local DAs.
[01:16:56] [SPEAKER_00]: They use the local attorney generals like Fani,
[01:17:00] [SPEAKER_00]: you know Fani spelled F-A-N-I Fani.
[01:17:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's all a big hoax
[01:17:06] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's all run from there.
[01:17:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Like in Manhattan,
[01:17:10] [SPEAKER_00]: one of the top people from the justice department
[01:17:12] [SPEAKER_00]: went in and ran Manhattan ran the state.
[01:17:15] [SPEAKER_00]: The Letitia James deal was run by a person
[01:17:18] [SPEAKER_00]: from the Department of Justice, Biden.
[01:17:23] [SPEAKER_00]: A very bad precedent.
[01:17:25] [SPEAKER_00]: It's called lawfare, warfare.
[01:17:28] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a terrible thing and never happened in our country.
[01:17:32] [SPEAKER_00]: It does happen in banana republics
[01:17:34] [SPEAKER_00]: and third world countries, but it's never happened.
[01:17:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And the incredible thing is it actually drove my numbers up
[01:17:41] [SPEAKER_00]: because people see,
[01:17:42] [SPEAKER_00]: fortunately I have a platform like you
[01:17:45] [SPEAKER_00]: or in all fairness like a conversation like this
[01:17:48] [SPEAKER_00]: where I can talk about it and people understand.
[01:17:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you fight for election integrity
[01:17:54] [SPEAKER_00]: and you end up getting indicted
[01:17:56] [SPEAKER_00]: because you're fighting for election integrity.
[01:17:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And when the day comes
[01:17:59] [SPEAKER_00]: that you can't fight for election integrity,
[01:18:01] [SPEAKER_00]: you don't have a country anymore.
[01:18:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So what happens is they went after
[01:18:05] [SPEAKER_00]: their political opponent me.
[01:18:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Now Biden's close to vegetable stage in my opinion.
[01:18:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I looked at him today on the beach and I said,
[01:18:16] [SPEAKER_00]: why would anybody allow him?
[01:18:18] [SPEAKER_00]: The guy could barely walk.
[01:18:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Why would anybody allow him?
[01:18:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Does he have a political advisor
[01:18:23] [SPEAKER_00]: that thinks this looks good?
[01:18:26] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, he thinks this looks good
[01:18:27] [SPEAKER_00]: because it looks so bad and it's ridiculous.
[01:18:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, and he's been doing that for a long time.
[01:18:34] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, he can't lift the chair.
[01:18:35] [SPEAKER_00]: The chair weighs about three ounces.
[01:18:37] [SPEAKER_00]: It's meant for children and old people to lift
[01:18:40] [SPEAKER_00]: and he can't lift it.
[01:18:42] [SPEAKER_00]: The whole thing is crazy.
[01:18:44] [SPEAKER_02]: It's clearly like we just don't have a president.
[01:18:47] [SPEAKER_02]: You don't have a president
[01:18:48] [SPEAKER_02]: and she's gonna be worse than him
[01:18:50] [SPEAKER_00]: because she is a San Francisco liberal
[01:18:54] [SPEAKER_00]: who destroyed San Francisco
[01:18:56] [SPEAKER_00]: and then as attorney general, she destroyed California.
[01:19:00] [SPEAKER_00]: You talk about location
[01:19:01] [SPEAKER_00]: and we're talking about the sun and the water and all.
[01:19:04] [SPEAKER_00]: There's nothing better than California.
[01:19:06] [SPEAKER_00]: She has destroyed that.
[01:19:07] [SPEAKER_00]: She was the original DA.
[01:19:09] [SPEAKER_00]: She was the original in San Francisco.
[01:19:11] [SPEAKER_00]: She was the original attorney general in California.
[01:19:14] [SPEAKER_00]: What she has done to California is,
[01:19:16] [SPEAKER_00]: well, you know better than I do.
[01:19:18] [SPEAKER_00]: You just left California for a lot of those reasons
[01:19:21] [SPEAKER_00]: and what she's done with crime, with cashless bail,
[01:19:27] [SPEAKER_00]: where you kill somebody.
[01:19:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we have states there,
[01:19:29] [SPEAKER_00]: you kill somebody and they let you out right away.
[01:19:31] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you don't have to even put up
[01:19:33] [SPEAKER_00]: and then they never find the people
[01:19:34] [SPEAKER_00]: unless they kill again and then they let them out again.
[01:19:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Our country is becoming a very dangerous place
[01:19:40] [SPEAKER_00]: and she is a radical left San Francisco liberal
[01:19:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and now she's trying to protect.
[01:19:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Now she's looking like she wants to be more Trump than Trump
[01:19:50] [SPEAKER_00]: if that's possible.
[01:19:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's possible,
[01:19:53] [SPEAKER_00]: but she wants to be more Trump than Trump.
[01:19:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I want a wall.
[01:19:56] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to, you know,
[01:19:58] [SPEAKER_00]: she wants to release all the prisoners
[01:19:59] [SPEAKER_00]: that are in detention
[01:20:00] [SPEAKER_00]: and some of these guys are really bad.
[01:20:02] [SPEAKER_00]: That just came out today.
[01:20:04] [SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't wanna build the wall
[01:20:06] [SPEAKER_00]: even though the walls work.
[01:20:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Walls and wheels.
[01:20:08] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, in your business,
[01:20:10] [SPEAKER_00]: everything you do is obsolete, not the tunnels,
[01:20:13] [SPEAKER_00]: but everything is obsolete.
[01:20:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Even your rocket ships,
[01:20:15] [SPEAKER_00]: like a month later they're obsolete.
[01:20:17] [SPEAKER_00]: You find a better way to...
[01:20:19] [SPEAKER_00]: The only thing that's not obsolete is a wall and a wheel
[01:20:22] [SPEAKER_00]: and the wall, you know,
[01:20:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I built hundreds of miles of wall
[01:20:25] [SPEAKER_00]: and that's why we had such good numbers.
[01:20:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I was gonna add 200 miles.
[01:20:31] [SPEAKER_00]: We bought it.
[01:20:31] [SPEAKER_00]: We could have flipped it up in three weeks
[01:20:34] [SPEAKER_00]: and they sold it for five cents on the dollar.
[01:20:38] [SPEAKER_00]: That meant, I said, wow,
[01:20:39] [SPEAKER_00]: that means that they actually do wanna have open borders.
[01:20:42] [SPEAKER_00]: She wants to have open borders
[01:20:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and now she's going like she's tough on the border.
[01:20:47] [SPEAKER_00]: It's such a lie.
[01:20:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is simply not true.
[01:20:50] [SPEAKER_00]: This is simply not true.
[01:20:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And everybody knows it's not true.
[01:20:52] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a disgrace that she can say it.
[01:20:55] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I mean, obviously what was happening sort of overnight
[01:20:58] [SPEAKER_02]: is they're rewriting history
[01:21:02] [SPEAKER_02]: and making Kamala sound like a moderate
[01:21:04] [SPEAKER_02]: when in fact she is far left, like far, far left.
[01:21:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Worse than Bernie Sanders.
[01:21:08] [SPEAKER_00]: She is considered more liberal by far than Bernie Sanders.
[01:21:12] [SPEAKER_00]: She's a radical left lunatic
[01:21:15] [SPEAKER_00]: and if she's gonna be our president,
[01:21:18] [SPEAKER_00]: very quickly you're not gonna have a country anymore
[01:21:20] [SPEAKER_00]: and she'll go back to all of the things
[01:21:22] [SPEAKER_00]: that she believes in.
[01:21:23] [SPEAKER_00]: She believes in defunding the police.
[01:21:25] [SPEAKER_00]: She believes in no fracking, zero.
[01:21:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Now all of a sudden she's saying,
[01:21:30] [SPEAKER_00]: no, I really wanna see fracking.
[01:21:33] [SPEAKER_00]: The day that if they got in,
[01:21:35] [SPEAKER_00]: the day she got in, she'll end fracking.
[01:21:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, if people didn't think that
[01:21:40] [SPEAKER_00]: the lunatics that really believe in that,
[01:21:44] [SPEAKER_00]: they won't vote for her.
[01:21:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, like the Palestinians and Israel,
[01:21:49] [SPEAKER_00]: she is so anti-Israel and she's bad for both.
[01:21:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Biden actually did something that was impossible.
[01:21:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Both sides hate him, you know, both sides.
[01:21:59] [SPEAKER_00]: That was a hard thing to do, unification.
[01:22:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, no, I mean, you know,
[01:22:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Netanyahu came to give a talk
[01:22:08] [SPEAKER_02]: to a joint Senate and House sitting
[01:22:12] [SPEAKER_02]: and I was there and Kamala stood him up.
[01:22:15] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, what does that say?
[01:22:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's highly disrespectful.
[01:22:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And I say if you're a Jewish person
[01:22:22] [SPEAKER_00]: or if you believe in Israel,
[01:22:23] [SPEAKER_00]: if you're a person that is very pro-Israel,
[01:22:28] [SPEAKER_00]: if you vote for her, it's worse than Biden
[01:22:31] [SPEAKER_00]: and Biden was bad.
[01:22:32] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you vote for her,
[01:22:33] [SPEAKER_00]: you ought to have your head examined.
[01:22:35] [SPEAKER_00]: And you see tonight, I mean, as we're doing this,
[01:22:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm seeing reports coming that they expect
[01:22:40] [SPEAKER_00]: an attack tonight or tomorrow from hundreds
[01:22:42] [SPEAKER_00]: and maybe thousands of rockets.
[01:22:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, their iron dome, as they call it,
[01:22:47] [SPEAKER_00]: as we all call it, but their shield that they built,
[01:22:50] [SPEAKER_00]: that can be swamped.
[01:22:53] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll use the term that's appropriate, swamped.
[01:22:56] [SPEAKER_00]: But they swamp it by shooting enough missiles.
[01:22:59] [SPEAKER_00]: You know this better than anybody,
[01:23:00] [SPEAKER_00]: by shooting enough missiles.
[01:23:01] [SPEAKER_00]: They can't defend themselves.
[01:23:04] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, they just obliterate the whole place.
[01:23:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's what some people think they're looking to do.
[01:23:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And we have no leadership.
[01:23:12] [SPEAKER_00]: There's no respect for the United States of America
[01:23:14] [SPEAKER_00]: with these people.
[01:23:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm telling you, it'll be worse than him
[01:23:18] [SPEAKER_00]: because she's a believer in being radical left
[01:23:20] [SPEAKER_00]: and he wasn't.
[01:23:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I think you're right.
[01:23:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's important for the public
[01:23:26] [SPEAKER_02]: that may be listening to this to say
[01:23:28] [SPEAKER_02]: to look at Kamala's track record, you know,
[01:23:31] [SPEAKER_02]: before the last like month and say,
[01:23:34] [SPEAKER_02]: is that a track record you agree with?
[01:23:36] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think if you're an independent moderate,
[01:23:39] [SPEAKER_02]: you definitely would not agree with it
[01:23:41] [SPEAKER_02]: because her behavior has been far left.
[01:23:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And we're seeing just an overnight propaganda attempt
[01:23:47] [SPEAKER_02]: to rewrite history and make it sound
[01:23:48] [SPEAKER_02]: like Kamala's moderate when she in fact is not moderate.
[01:23:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, her running mate approved,
[01:23:56] [SPEAKER_00]: signed into legislation.
[01:23:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Tampons in boys' bathrooms, okay?
[01:24:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Now that's all I have to hear.
[01:24:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Tampons in boys' bathrooms.
[01:24:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And that means she believes in that too.
[01:24:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, she picked this guy
[01:24:10] [SPEAKER_00]: because he was the closest to her.
[01:24:12] [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people thought she'd pick sort of the opposite
[01:24:15] [SPEAKER_00]: but she picked an anti-Israel radical left person.
[01:24:19] [SPEAKER_00]: But she is far worse they say than Bernie Sanders.
[01:24:23] [SPEAKER_00]: If we have her as a president,
[01:24:25] [SPEAKER_00]: if we have a Democrat at this moment as the president,
[01:24:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think our country can survive.
[01:24:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it's a massive,
[01:24:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I think we're in massive trouble, frankly,
[01:24:37] [SPEAKER_02]: with the Kamala administration
[01:24:38] [SPEAKER_02]: and that's my honest opinion.
[01:24:41] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think really it's essential
[01:24:45] [SPEAKER_02]: that you win for the good of the country
[01:24:49] [SPEAKER_02]: for this election.
[01:24:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, that's just stating my opinion.
[01:24:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Now, you may have seen this
[01:24:55] [SPEAKER_02]: but I got a letter from the EU commission
[01:25:00] [SPEAKER_02]: like saying to not have disinformation
[01:25:03] [SPEAKER_02]: on during this discussion that we're having.
[01:25:07] [SPEAKER_02]: And there's a lot of attempts to do censorship
[01:25:11] [SPEAKER_02]: and to force censorship even on Americans
[01:25:14] [SPEAKER_02]: from other countries.
[01:25:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And what do you think about that?
[01:25:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I know the European Union very well.
[01:25:22] [SPEAKER_00]: They take great advantage of the United States
[01:25:25] [SPEAKER_00]: in trade as you know.
[01:25:27] [SPEAKER_00]: We through a different forum, NATO, we protect them
[01:25:32] [SPEAKER_00]: and yet if you build a car in the United States
[01:25:36] [SPEAKER_00]: you can't sell it in Europe.
[01:25:37] [SPEAKER_00]: You just can't sell it.
[01:25:38] [SPEAKER_00]: It's impossible.
[01:25:40] [SPEAKER_00]: The same thing with our farmers.
[01:25:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Our farmers find it very difficult to do business.
[01:25:43] [SPEAKER_00]: We have a deficit with them of $250 billion
[01:25:48] [SPEAKER_00]: which people don't know.
[01:25:49] [SPEAKER_00]: It sounds so nice, the European Union
[01:25:50] [SPEAKER_00]: but let me tell you they're not as tough as China
[01:25:54] [SPEAKER_00]: but they're bad and I let them know it.
[01:25:57] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's probably why they notified you.
[01:25:59] [SPEAKER_00]: No, they don't treat our country well.
[01:26:02] [SPEAKER_00]: We defend them with Ukraine.
[01:26:06] [SPEAKER_00]: So we're in for 250 billion
[01:26:08] [SPEAKER_00]: and they're in for about 71 billion
[01:26:10] [SPEAKER_00]: and they have the same size.
[01:26:12] [SPEAKER_00]: If you add up the European nations
[01:26:14] [SPEAKER_00]: in terms of an economy, it's about the same size.
[01:26:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And they're in much greater risk.
[01:26:23] [SPEAKER_00]: They're right there.
[01:26:25] [SPEAKER_00]: We have an ocean separating us from,
[01:26:27] [SPEAKER_00]: in this case the enemy would be Russia.
[01:26:30] [SPEAKER_00]: It used to be for the Soviet Union
[01:26:31] [SPEAKER_00]: but let's assume they're close enough.
[01:26:34] [SPEAKER_00]: What happens is they're in for 70 something million,
[01:26:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I think even less than that, billion
[01:26:42] [SPEAKER_00]: and we're in for about 250 billion
[01:26:46] [SPEAKER_00]: and it could be a lot higher than that.
[01:26:48] [SPEAKER_00]: And I say, why aren't you gonna equalize?
[01:26:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Why aren't they paying what we're paying
[01:26:52] [SPEAKER_00]: and they're in much more,
[01:26:54] [SPEAKER_00]: it's much more important for them
[01:26:56] [SPEAKER_00]: because of the fact that they're right near there.
[01:26:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they're all sort of in that location.
[01:27:01] [SPEAKER_00]: We're not but they should,
[01:27:04] [SPEAKER_00]: and I did it with NATO.
[01:27:06] [SPEAKER_00]: There were only seven countries
[01:27:07] [SPEAKER_00]: that were paid up in NATO out of 28 at the time.
[01:27:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And the United States was subsidizing NATO,
[01:27:18] [SPEAKER_00]: tremendously subsidizing NATO.
[01:27:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And I said, I went in and I said, you gotta pay up.
[01:27:22] [SPEAKER_00]: If you don't pay up,
[01:27:23] [SPEAKER_00]: we're not gonna defend you any longer.
[01:27:25] [SPEAKER_00]: I took a lot of heat, but you know what happened?
[01:27:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Billions and billions of dollars came flowing in.
[01:27:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And yeah.
[01:27:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I think a lot of the public isn't aware of the fact
[01:27:34] [SPEAKER_02]: that the United States pays a disproportionate share
[01:27:37] [SPEAKER_02]: of the NATO expenses.
[01:27:38] [SPEAKER_02]: And then we can take advantage of on trade.
[01:27:42] [SPEAKER_02]: So think of that.
[01:27:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the point of NATO is defending Europe
[01:27:45] [SPEAKER_02]: and it's like, okay, well why is the United States
[01:27:50] [SPEAKER_02]: paying disproportionately more to defend Europe
[01:27:52] [SPEAKER_02]: than Europe?
[01:27:53] [SPEAKER_02]: That doesn't make sense.
[01:27:54] [SPEAKER_02]: That's unfair.
[01:27:55] [SPEAKER_02]: And that is an appropriate thing to address.
[01:27:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, when you talk about cost cutting
[01:28:00] [SPEAKER_00]: and savings and everything else,
[01:28:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, honestly, look,
[01:28:05] [SPEAKER_00]: there's nobody that feels worse
[01:28:06] [SPEAKER_00]: about the Ukraine situation than I do
[01:28:08] [SPEAKER_00]: because I know it would have never happened.
[01:28:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I know Zelensky, he was very honorable to me
[01:28:13] [SPEAKER_00]: because when they went with the Russia hoax
[01:28:15] [SPEAKER_00]: and they said I had a phone call with him,
[01:28:16] [SPEAKER_00]: he said it was a perfect phone call.
[01:28:18] [SPEAKER_00]: It was a great phone call.
[01:28:19] [SPEAKER_00]: He could have grandstanded and said,
[01:28:21] [SPEAKER_00]: oh, he was very threatening.
[01:28:23] [SPEAKER_00]: He said, no, it was a very nice phone call.
[01:28:25] [SPEAKER_00]: I called him up to congratulate him on his win
[01:28:28] [SPEAKER_00]: and you end up getting impeached
[01:28:30] [SPEAKER_00]: because these people are lunatics.
[01:28:33] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I was talking about the difference
[01:28:34] [SPEAKER_00]: from the people within and the enemies on the outside.
[01:28:37] [SPEAKER_00]: In many cases, the people from within
[01:28:39] [SPEAKER_00]: are more dangerous for our country
[01:28:42] [SPEAKER_00]: than the Russians and the Chinese.
[01:28:45] [SPEAKER_00]: If you have a smart president,
[01:28:46] [SPEAKER_00]: you're not gonna have a problem with them.
[01:28:47] [SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna do things.
[01:28:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Now they've taken advantage of us incredibly,
[01:28:52] [SPEAKER_00]: but you're gonna do things with the right person.
[01:28:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, I think it's obvious
[01:28:57] [SPEAKER_02]: that you're a believer and an advocate of free speech
[01:29:00] [SPEAKER_02]: because during your first time as president,
[01:29:03] [SPEAKER_02]: you were attacked relentlessly every day,
[01:29:05] [SPEAKER_02]: often very unfairly with false attacks.
[01:29:09] [SPEAKER_02]: And you didn't try to shut down the media.
[01:29:11] [SPEAKER_02]: You didn't try to inhibit their freedom of speech.
[01:29:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think that says a lot.
[01:29:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, the good thing is that you and I have,
[01:29:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and some people, very few, we can get the word out,
[01:29:23] [SPEAKER_00]: although sometimes it's hard
[01:29:25] [SPEAKER_00]: because they don't wanna print it.
[01:29:26] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, like we're having a great conversation right now.
[01:29:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Kamala wouldn't have this conversation.
[01:29:32] [SPEAKER_00]: She can't, because she's not smart.
[01:29:34] [SPEAKER_00]: She's not a smart person, by the way.
[01:29:36] [SPEAKER_00]: She can't have this conversation.
[01:29:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And Biden, we don't even have to talk about it.
[01:29:40] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he couldn't have this conversation.
[01:29:42] [SPEAKER_00]: He would've given up on the first half of a question.
[01:29:45] [SPEAKER_00]: He would've walked out.
[01:29:46] [SPEAKER_00]: He would've said, where am I?
[01:29:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Where am I going?
[01:29:49] [SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, but no, he wouldn't have this.
[01:29:51] [SPEAKER_00]: That's true.
[01:29:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Not a lot of people would have this conversation,
[01:29:53] [SPEAKER_00]: but you know, we cover a lot of territory.
[01:29:56] [SPEAKER_00]: But the beauty is that we can have a conversation.
[01:30:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm able to get it out without,
[01:30:02] [SPEAKER_00]: because I get treated fairly by-
[01:30:04] [SPEAKER_02]: This is a really big point.
[01:30:05] [SPEAKER_02]: You can actually have a conversation with you.
[01:30:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's nice, isn't it?
[01:30:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And you can't have a conversation with Biden or Kamala.
[01:30:11] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like not, it's not possible.
[01:30:13] [SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
[01:30:14] [SPEAKER_02]: This is like talking to an NPC.
[01:30:17] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's just impossible.
[01:30:17] [SPEAKER_00]: But think of it.
[01:30:18] [SPEAKER_00]: We need a man or person who's unbelievably sharp
[01:30:23] [SPEAKER_00]: in order to stop all the nuclear danger
[01:30:25] [SPEAKER_00]: and all the dangers that I'm talking about.
[01:30:28] [SPEAKER_00]: And I got along with all this.
[01:30:29] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I got along with Kim Jong-un.
[01:30:30] [SPEAKER_00]: We had dinner, we had everything.
[01:30:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And he really liked me and I got along with him really well.
[01:30:37] [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, he's the absolute boss over there.
[01:30:39] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, a lot of people said,
[01:30:40] [SPEAKER_00]: oh, do you think he'd really-
[01:30:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's for sure.
[01:30:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Let me tell ya,
[01:30:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I saw things that you don't wanna know about.
[01:30:45] [SPEAKER_00]: He is the boss.
[01:30:46] [SPEAKER_00]: But we had a good relationship
[01:30:49] [SPEAKER_00]: and he doesn't like Biden.
[01:30:51] [SPEAKER_00]: He considers him as a stupid man, he said.
[01:30:53] [SPEAKER_00]: He's a stupid man.
[01:30:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, at least he speaks his mind.
[01:30:57] [SPEAKER_00]: But you know, in this country,
[01:30:58] [SPEAKER_00]: you're not sort of allowed to say it,
[01:30:59] [SPEAKER_00]: but I guess you are.
[01:31:00] [SPEAKER_00]: You should be allowed to say it, that's true.
[01:31:02] [SPEAKER_00]: But we need really, we need smart people
[01:31:05] [SPEAKER_00]: and we need people that have an ability to lead.
[01:31:08] [SPEAKER_00]: And she doesn't have that ability.
[01:31:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Can you imagine?
[01:31:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Now you know Chairman Chi very well.
[01:31:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Can you imagine her and him negotiating or-
[01:31:17] [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's silly.
[01:31:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Even standing together.
[01:31:19] [SPEAKER_00]: The whole concept is ridiculous.
[01:31:21] [SPEAKER_00]: She is terrible, she's terrible.
[01:31:23] [SPEAKER_00]: But she's getting a free ride.
[01:31:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I saw a picture of her on Time Magazine today.
[01:31:27] [SPEAKER_00]: She looks like the most beautiful actress ever to live.
[01:31:30] [SPEAKER_00]: It was a drawing.
[01:31:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And actually, she looked very much like
[01:31:35] [SPEAKER_00]: our great first lady, Melania.
[01:31:39] [SPEAKER_00]: She didn't look like Camilla, that's right.
[01:31:42] [SPEAKER_00]: But of course she's a beautiful woman,
[01:31:43] [SPEAKER_00]: so we'll leave it at that, right?
[01:31:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, I think part of what people in America
[01:31:50] [SPEAKER_02]: wanna feel excited and inspired about the future.
[01:31:55] [SPEAKER_02]: We wanna feel like the future's gonna be better
[01:31:56] [SPEAKER_02]: than it was in the past.
[01:31:57] [SPEAKER_02]: And that America's gonna do things that are greater
[01:32:00] [SPEAKER_02]: than we've done in the past,
[01:32:02] [SPEAKER_02]: reach new heights that make you proud to be an American
[01:32:06] [SPEAKER_02]: and excited about the future.
[01:32:11] [SPEAKER_00]: They want the American dream back
[01:32:13] [SPEAKER_00]: more important than anything else.
[01:32:15] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like, you don't have that today
[01:32:17] [SPEAKER_00]: because the people, they've been just sucked.
[01:32:20] [SPEAKER_00]: They see incompetent people running our...
[01:32:22] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, the Biden thing is very interesting.
[01:32:25] [SPEAKER_00]: People just found him to be incompetent.
[01:32:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And when I debated him, I was like, is this for real?
[01:32:32] [SPEAKER_02]: It was just absurd.
[01:32:35] [SPEAKER_02]: But I think there are some grand projects
[01:32:39] [SPEAKER_02]: that we could do.
[01:32:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think we could build a base on the moon.
[01:32:45] [SPEAKER_02]: We could send American astronauts to Mars.
[01:32:47] [SPEAKER_02]: We could build high-speed connections
[01:32:50] [SPEAKER_02]: that are more advanced than anything else in the world
[01:32:53] [SPEAKER_02]: between our cities so people have fast transport.
[01:32:57] [SPEAKER_02]: It's possible to solve traffic with tunnels.
[01:33:01] [SPEAKER_02]: We already made great progress in Vegas doing that.
[01:33:06] [SPEAKER_02]: And just do things that are exciting and inspiring
[01:33:09] [SPEAKER_02]: to make the future feel like it's better than the past.
[01:33:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I saw what you did in Vegas
[01:33:12] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'll tell you it was amazing.
[01:33:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I got to see, I took a big glimpse at it
[01:33:16] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's incredible.
[01:33:18] [SPEAKER_00]: It's incredible.
[01:33:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And you could do that all over.
[01:33:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You can do that all over.
[01:33:22] [SPEAKER_00]: It's deep.
[01:33:23] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't even need much structure,
[01:33:25] [SPEAKER_00]: assuming you're in the right area.
[01:33:26] [SPEAKER_02]: No, it's straightforward.
[01:33:28] [SPEAKER_02]: It's amazing.
[01:33:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I think we could do some things.
[01:33:33] [SPEAKER_02]: China's got incredible high-speed rail
[01:33:35] [SPEAKER_02]: between its cities,
[01:33:36] [SPEAKER_02]: but I think it's actually possible with tunnels.
[01:33:40] [SPEAKER_02]: If it was deregulation with an ability to actually,
[01:33:44] [SPEAKER_02]: where it's legal to actually do the tunnels,
[01:33:47] [SPEAKER_02]: then you can have high-speed tunnels
[01:33:50] [SPEAKER_02]: that are actually better than anything else in the world
[01:33:53] [SPEAKER_02]: for high-speed transport between cities.
[01:33:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And that would be something that Americans can say,
[01:33:59] [SPEAKER_02]: wow, okay, we've got something that's cooler
[01:34:01] [SPEAKER_02]: than anyone else in the world.
[01:34:03] [SPEAKER_02]: That's the kind of thing that makes you proud.
[01:34:05] [SPEAKER_00]: And much safer than surface trains
[01:34:07] [SPEAKER_00]: where there is a danger there with crazy people.
[01:34:11] [SPEAKER_00]: It's much safer, much better.
[01:34:14] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's sad because I've seen some of the greatest
[01:34:16] [SPEAKER_00]: trains, I find it fascinating.
[01:34:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And I've seen the systems and how they work
[01:34:20] [SPEAKER_00]: and the bullet trains, they call them, I guess.
[01:34:23] [SPEAKER_00]: And they go unbelievably fast, unbelievably comfortable
[01:34:28] [SPEAKER_00]: with no problems.
[01:34:29] [SPEAKER_00]: And we don't have anything like that in this country,
[01:34:31] [SPEAKER_00]: not even close.
[01:34:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And it doesn't make sense that we don't.
[01:34:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Doesn't make sense.
[01:34:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think also there's,
[01:34:41] [SPEAKER_02]: kind of hopping on the excess regulation,
[01:34:43] [SPEAKER_02]: but I think something that
[01:34:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I think people can generally understand is that
[01:34:47] [SPEAKER_02]: what happens with laws and regulations is that
[01:34:49] [SPEAKER_02]: there's more and more of them every year.
[01:34:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And unless there's a process to clean them up,
[01:34:54] [SPEAKER_02]: eventually everything becomes legal.
[01:34:55] [SPEAKER_02]: And that actually slows down the development
[01:34:58] [SPEAKER_02]: of new technologies.
[01:35:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, if you take the sort of,
[01:35:01] [SPEAKER_02]: like I think there's room for some reform at the FDA
[01:35:06] [SPEAKER_02]: for improving the speed with which we approve drugs
[01:35:10] [SPEAKER_02]: that could help save lives and improve people's lives.
[01:35:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I worked very hard on that.
[01:35:15] [SPEAKER_00]: We got that down to the lowest number ever.
[01:35:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And we got therapeutics approved in the FDA
[01:35:23] [SPEAKER_00]: that people can't even believe the speed,
[01:35:26] [SPEAKER_00]: but I took them on.
[01:35:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they liked me too much,
[01:35:29] [SPEAKER_00]: but I got things approved in the FDA
[01:35:32] [SPEAKER_00]: at numbers that they wouldn't believe.
[01:35:35] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's a very bureaucratic group.
[01:35:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Actually it's a fine group of people in many cases.
[01:35:40] [SPEAKER_00]: I got to know a lot of them,
[01:35:41] [SPEAKER_00]: but I was pushing them really hard for regenerants,
[01:35:44] [SPEAKER_00]: for so many different things
[01:35:45] [SPEAKER_00]: that were really pretty amazing.
[01:35:48] [SPEAKER_00]: But the FDA takes too long.
[01:35:51] [SPEAKER_00]: It's 12 years to get a product approved.
[01:35:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I got it down to four,
[01:35:55] [SPEAKER_00]: and I got some things done very quickly,
[01:35:57] [SPEAKER_00]: but it's really something
[01:36:00] [SPEAKER_00]: that is gonna have to be worked on
[01:36:02] [SPEAKER_00]: because it takes too long.
[01:36:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Just takes too long.
[01:36:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it just takes too long.
[01:36:06] [SPEAKER_02]: And you end up in the same with what they approve,
[01:36:09] [SPEAKER_02]: but it just takes years
[01:36:12] [SPEAKER_02]: instead of something that could potentially take months
[01:36:15] [SPEAKER_02]: that improves people's lives.
[01:36:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I just wanted to hop on this point
[01:36:21] [SPEAKER_02]: that there has to be an active process
[01:36:24] [SPEAKER_02]: for reducing rules and regulations,
[01:36:28] [SPEAKER_02]: because otherwise they just keep building up every year
[01:36:30] [SPEAKER_02]: and you get hardening of the arteries,
[01:36:32] [SPEAKER_02]: and eventually everything's illegal or takes forever.
[01:36:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And then we just ossify as a society,
[01:36:42] [SPEAKER_02]: we just can't make any progress.
[01:36:45] [SPEAKER_02]: And that's a really big deal.
[01:36:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Elon, just getting back to the FDA for one second,
[01:36:49] [SPEAKER_00]: I got something done called Right to Try.
[01:36:51] [SPEAKER_00]: This is where you can go in
[01:36:53] [SPEAKER_00]: and if you're terminally ill,
[01:36:55] [SPEAKER_00]: you can use a space-age medicine or whatever it may be.
[01:36:59] [SPEAKER_00]: We have the best doctors,
[01:37:01] [SPEAKER_00]: the best labs in the world, we really do.
[01:37:03] [SPEAKER_00]: But people would go to other countries
[01:37:06] [SPEAKER_00]: because you couldn't use the product
[01:37:07] [SPEAKER_00]: even if they thought it worked,
[01:37:09] [SPEAKER_00]: because it's going through the FDA.
[01:37:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I got it approved where you can basically...
[01:37:14] [SPEAKER_00]: You look, nobody wanted it.
[01:37:15] [SPEAKER_00]: The doctors didn't want it because of the liability.
[01:37:17] [SPEAKER_00]: The country didn't want it, our country,
[01:37:19] [SPEAKER_00]: because they didn't want to get sued.
[01:37:20] [SPEAKER_00]: These are people terminally ill.
[01:37:22] [SPEAKER_00]: The insurance companies didn't want it
[01:37:23] [SPEAKER_00]: and the pharmaceutical companies, nobody wanted it.
[01:37:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I got everybody into a room
[01:37:27] [SPEAKER_00]: and we came up with an agreement that you won't get sued.
[01:37:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And also, they didn't want it on their record.
[01:37:33] [SPEAKER_00]: If somebody's terminally ill and they die
[01:37:35] [SPEAKER_00]: after taking a drug,
[01:37:36] [SPEAKER_00]: they didn't want that on their record.
[01:37:38] [SPEAKER_00]: So we set a separate list
[01:37:40] [SPEAKER_00]: so it wouldn't count as a negative.
[01:37:43] [SPEAKER_00]: And as you know, we got it done.
[01:37:45] [SPEAKER_00]: We have saved Right to Try.
[01:37:47] [SPEAKER_00]: They've been trying to get this done for 58 years
[01:37:50] [SPEAKER_00]: and it sounds simple, but it wasn't
[01:37:52] [SPEAKER_00]: because the insurance companies, nobody wanted it.
[01:37:56] [SPEAKER_00]: But we got it done.
[01:37:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Somebody signs, you sign a document
[01:38:00] [SPEAKER_00]: that you're not gonna sue the insurance companies,
[01:38:02] [SPEAKER_00]: the country, you're not gonna sue anybody.
[01:38:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And we got it done
[01:38:05] [SPEAKER_00]: and we're saving tens of thousands of lives.
[01:38:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Right to Try, hopefully you never need it.
[01:38:10] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you do, you don't have to travel to Asia.
[01:38:13] [SPEAKER_00]: You know people, if they had money,
[01:38:15] [SPEAKER_00]: they go to Asia, they go to Europe.
[01:38:16] [SPEAKER_00]: If they don't have money, they go home and die.
[01:38:18] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what happened.
[01:38:19] [SPEAKER_00]: They'd go home and die.
[01:38:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, and actually to give you some props here,
[01:38:25] [SPEAKER_02]: it's like if a drug is approved in Europe,
[01:38:28] [SPEAKER_02]: which has a crazy amount of regulations,
[01:38:30] [SPEAKER_02]: it should obviously be approved in the US.
[01:38:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they have more regulations than we do.
[01:38:34] [SPEAKER_02]: So why would a drug be approved in Europe
[01:38:37] [SPEAKER_02]: and not in the US?
[01:38:37] [SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy.
[01:38:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, we did something that really,
[01:38:41] [SPEAKER_00]: they've been trying to do it for 50 years
[01:38:43] [SPEAKER_00]: and they just couldn't get it done
[01:38:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and they got it done.
[01:38:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's really something.
[01:38:47] [SPEAKER_00]: But you're right, some people go to Europe
[01:38:49] [SPEAKER_00]: because a drug isn't approved here
[01:38:51] [SPEAKER_00]: but it's approved in Europe
[01:38:52] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's a drug that generally speaking would work.
[01:38:55] [SPEAKER_00]: It's pretty crazy.
[01:38:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
[01:38:56] [SPEAKER_02]: You're right.
[01:38:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I think so as long as people are properly informed
[01:39:00] [SPEAKER_02]: of the pros and cons and like these are the risks,
[01:39:02] [SPEAKER_02]: this is the risk and like you make your own decision.
[01:39:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:39:06] [SPEAKER_02]: That makes sense.
[01:39:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I think just in sort of closing up
[01:39:10] [SPEAKER_00]: and by the way, I'm looking at the numbers.
[01:39:12] [SPEAKER_00]: You get a lot of people listening.
[01:39:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I hope you don't get nervous
[01:39:15] [SPEAKER_00]: because you got a lot of people listening to you
[01:39:17] [SPEAKER_00]: right now, like 60 million or something.
[01:39:20] [SPEAKER_00]: What is that number?
[01:39:21] [SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy.
[01:39:22] [SPEAKER_00]: It's amazing how you can see that right away.
[01:39:25] [SPEAKER_00]: How many, what is the number?
[01:39:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
[01:39:29] [SPEAKER_00]: What is it?
[01:39:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I think in terms of people that's the ultimate.
[01:39:37] [SPEAKER_00]: That's bigger than you said.
[01:39:39] [SPEAKER_00]: You said 25 and you're much more than double that number.
[01:39:42] [SPEAKER_00]: 25 million, I think you're gonna be 60 or 70.
[01:39:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And I guess over a period of time,
[01:39:47] [SPEAKER_00]: hey, I congratulate you.
[01:39:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Do I get paid for this or not?
[01:39:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I think actually in terms of the number of people
[01:39:56] [SPEAKER_02]: that will hear this conversation over the next few days
[01:40:02] [SPEAKER_02]: it's gonna be 120.
[01:40:04] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what they say.
[01:40:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's good.
[01:40:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, look, it's an honor.
[01:40:07] [SPEAKER_00]: But I just ask this, are you better off now
[01:40:11] [SPEAKER_00]: or were you better off when I was president?
[01:40:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Nobody's better off now.
[01:40:15] [SPEAKER_00]: We put out polls on that and nobody's better off now.
[01:40:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Inflation has killed it.
[01:40:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And they also feel very unsafe.
[01:40:23] [SPEAKER_00]: You look at what's going on
[01:40:24] [SPEAKER_00]: with a lot of different things.
[01:40:26] [SPEAKER_00]: You look at the riots we had in the colleges over.
[01:40:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's ridiculous, but all of the riots
[01:40:31] [SPEAKER_00]: they just feel unsafe.
[01:40:32] [SPEAKER_00]: And now they really feel unsafe
[01:40:34] [SPEAKER_00]: because you have a new form of crime.
[01:40:36] [SPEAKER_00]: It's called migrant crime.
[01:40:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I call it Biden migrant crime.
[01:40:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I'll call it Kamala migrant crime.
[01:40:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, with all these things
[01:40:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I always try to like try to get to the ground truth
[01:40:45] [SPEAKER_02]: by just asking people.
[01:40:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And my mom lives in New York
[01:40:49] [SPEAKER_02]: and I was like, mom, have any of your friends
[01:40:54] [SPEAKER_02]: been attacked or assaulted?
[01:40:55] [SPEAKER_02]: And she said, yeah, three of her friends
[01:40:57] [SPEAKER_02]: in three separate incidents were assaulted
[01:40:59] [SPEAKER_02]: just in recent months,
[01:41:01] [SPEAKER_02]: just walking around the streets of New York.
[01:41:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And I said, well, what happened to the people
[01:41:07] [SPEAKER_02]: that assaulted them?
[01:41:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh nothing, they got away.
[01:41:11] [SPEAKER_02]: They just know that nothing's gonna...
[01:41:13] [SPEAKER_02]: And they don't even bother reporting it
[01:41:16] [SPEAKER_02]: because they know that people
[01:41:20] [SPEAKER_02]: are not gonna get prosecuted.
[01:41:21] [SPEAKER_02]: They just let violent criminals out in New York.
[01:41:25] [SPEAKER_00]: The only one that gets prosecuted is Donald Trump.
[01:41:29] [SPEAKER_00]: They prosecute Trump.
[01:41:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it's just obviously messed up
[01:41:33] [SPEAKER_02]: if violent criminals are being getting off scar free.
[01:41:38] [SPEAKER_02]: And meanwhile,
[01:41:39] [SPEAKER_02]: the New York spending massive resources prosecuting you.
[01:41:43] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, what's this?
[01:41:45] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, and I think the sort of sensible public
[01:41:49] [SPEAKER_02]: said, looks at this and says,
[01:41:51] [SPEAKER_02]: what the heck's going on here?
[01:41:52] [SPEAKER_02]: This is obviously abuse of the legal system.
[01:41:55] [SPEAKER_02]: The legal system is supposed to be protecting the public
[01:41:58] [SPEAKER_02]: from violent criminals.
[01:42:00] [SPEAKER_02]: And it should be obviously allowing the public
[01:42:02] [SPEAKER_02]: to make their own decision about who should be president
[01:42:05] [SPEAKER_02]: as opposed to some legal case.
[01:42:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Once they start this precedent,
[01:42:11] [SPEAKER_00]: because this can go on with the next one.
[01:42:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this is a very bad precedent
[01:42:15] [SPEAKER_00]: what they're doing in terms of going after
[01:42:17] [SPEAKER_00]: their political opponent.
[01:42:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's all it is.
[01:42:19] [SPEAKER_00]: It's going after their political opponent.
[01:42:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And then you get a judge who's, you know,
[01:42:24] [SPEAKER_00]: a strong Democrat.
[01:42:26] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm being nice when I say that in many cases,
[01:42:28] [SPEAKER_00]: crooked as hell, but you get a judge
[01:42:30] [SPEAKER_00]: and you go into an area where a Republican
[01:42:33] [SPEAKER_00]: gets three or 4% of the vote.
[01:42:35] [SPEAKER_00]: And you know, you'll have a jury pool
[01:42:37] [SPEAKER_00]: with people that hate Republicans or hate.
[01:42:41] [SPEAKER_00]: It could also be the other way though.
[01:42:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Of course.
[01:42:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Because it could start the other way
[01:42:44] [SPEAKER_00]: in areas where they hate Democrats.
[01:42:46] [SPEAKER_00]: And you get into a Pandora's box.
[01:42:48] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a very dangerous thing for this country
[01:42:51] [SPEAKER_00]: and a very dangerous thing even for the state.
[01:42:54] [SPEAKER_00]: New York City is losing, New York City and state
[01:42:56] [SPEAKER_00]: lose a lot of business over what they did to me.
[01:43:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Cause these people say,
[01:43:00] [SPEAKER_00]: we don't want that to happen to us.
[01:43:02] [SPEAKER_00]: That's no justice system.
[01:43:03] [SPEAKER_00]: You have an unfair system of justice
[01:43:05] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's costing New York state
[01:43:07] [SPEAKER_00]: a tremendous amount of money.
[01:43:10] [SPEAKER_00]: People are leaving and companies are leaving
[01:43:11] [SPEAKER_00]: and they won't come back.
[01:43:13] [SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, all of that stuff is important
[01:43:15] [SPEAKER_00]: but the economy now is the big thing
[01:43:17] [SPEAKER_00]: and we can turn that economy up so fast
[01:43:20] [SPEAKER_00]: and people are gonna be back again.
[01:43:22] [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna get rid of the...
[01:43:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think it's a lot of opportunity.
[01:43:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Right, absolutely.
[01:43:26] [SPEAKER_00]: And I just wanna congratulate you.
[01:43:28] [SPEAKER_00]: You've done an amazing job.
[01:43:30] [SPEAKER_00]: You have definitely got a fertile mind.
[01:43:33] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, we can talk,
[01:43:34] [SPEAKER_00]: you and I can talk about rockets.
[01:43:35] [SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of you to say thank you.
[01:43:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Tunnels, we can talk about tunnels and rockets
[01:43:40] [SPEAKER_00]: and electric cars, so many things.
[01:43:43] [SPEAKER_00]: And now you're into the AI
[01:43:45] [SPEAKER_00]: and that's gonna be another beauty I'll say.
[01:43:47] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's an amazing thing you've done, Elon.
[01:43:52] [SPEAKER_00]: It's an amazing thing and I congratulate you.
[01:43:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, thank you.
[01:43:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And well, I just say here's to an exciting,
[01:43:59] [SPEAKER_02]: inspiring future that people can look forward to
[01:44:01] [SPEAKER_02]: and be optimistic and excited about what happens next.
[01:44:04] [SPEAKER_02]: And that's the kind of future
[01:44:05] [SPEAKER_02]: that I think you will bring as president
[01:44:07] [SPEAKER_02]: and that's why I endorse you.
[01:44:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I appreciate that.
[01:44:10] [SPEAKER_00]: That endorsement meant a lot to me.
[01:44:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Not all endorsements mean that much, to be honest.
[01:44:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Your endorsement meant a lot.
[01:44:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And you know, we have a phrase, make America great again.
[01:44:19] [SPEAKER_00]: It's pretty simple, but it really says
[01:44:20] [SPEAKER_00]: that we wanna make America great again and we can do it.
[01:44:23] [SPEAKER_00]: We can do it now,
[01:44:24] [SPEAKER_00]: but if we were gonna suffer another four years
[01:44:27] [SPEAKER_00]: like we suffered for the last four years,
[01:44:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure the country can ever come back.
[01:44:32] [SPEAKER_00]: That's how bad it is.
[01:44:33] [SPEAKER_00]: It's so bad.
[01:44:34] [SPEAKER_00]: We have to do a lot of things.
[01:44:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I think that's a very real risk.
[01:44:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's a big risk.
[01:44:37] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a very real risk.
[01:44:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's, you know, I'd just like to note
[01:44:41] [SPEAKER_02]: to people listening,
[01:44:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I've not been very political before
[01:44:44] [SPEAKER_02]: and if you look at my record,
[01:44:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I've actually been,
[01:44:49] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not like,
[01:44:49] [SPEAKER_02]: sometimes they try to paint me as a far right guy,
[01:44:51] [SPEAKER_02]: which is absurd because I like making electric vehicles
[01:44:54] [SPEAKER_02]: and solar and batteries helping with the environment
[01:44:57] [SPEAKER_02]: and I actually,
[01:45:00] [SPEAKER_02]: you know, I supported Obama.
[01:45:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I stood in line for six hours to shake Obama's hand
[01:45:05] [SPEAKER_02]: when he was running for president.
[01:45:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And so it's not like I'm some sort of
[01:45:10] [SPEAKER_02]: dyed-in-the-wool long-term republic.
[01:45:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm actually, I call myself
[01:45:15] [SPEAKER_02]: historically a moderate Democrat
[01:45:17] [SPEAKER_02]: but now I feel like we're really at a critical juncture
[01:45:21] [SPEAKER_02]: for the country.
[01:45:24] [SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, I think a lot of people thought
[01:45:27] [SPEAKER_02]: that Biden administration would be
[01:45:28] [SPEAKER_02]: a moderate administration, but it's not.
[01:45:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And obviously, we were just gonna see
[01:45:35] [SPEAKER_02]: an even further left
[01:45:39] [SPEAKER_02]: administration with Kamala.
[01:45:40] [SPEAKER_02]: That's my honest opinion.
[01:45:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, her dad is literally,
[01:45:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, she was brought up as an actual,
[01:45:46] [SPEAKER_02]: her dad is a Marxist economist.
[01:45:49] [SPEAKER_02]: You can Google it.
[01:45:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we're not making this up, you know?
[01:45:53] [SPEAKER_02]: That's how she was brought up.
[01:45:55] [SPEAKER_02]: So and we just,
[01:45:57] [SPEAKER_02]: we wanna have a future that is prosperous
[01:45:59] [SPEAKER_02]: and I think we're just at this critical juncture
[01:46:04] and I think this is a case of
[01:46:07] that America is kind of at a fork in the road.
[01:46:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think it will take,
[01:46:14] [SPEAKER_02]: it will take the path,
[01:46:17] [SPEAKER_02]: like you are the path to prosperity
[01:46:19] [SPEAKER_02]: and I think Kamala is the opposite.
[01:46:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Then that's my honest opinion.
[01:46:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna get attacked like crazy
[01:46:24] [SPEAKER_02]: and I've also experienced quite a bit of low fare myself
[01:46:28] [SPEAKER_02]: and but I'm just trying to tell people
[01:46:31] [SPEAKER_02]: my honest opinion
[01:46:31] [SPEAKER_02]: and I haven't been active
[01:46:33] [SPEAKER_02]: and really active in politics before
[01:46:35] [SPEAKER_02]: and I'm just trying to point out
[01:46:37] [SPEAKER_02]: that my track record historically has been moderate
[01:46:39] [SPEAKER_02]: if not moderate, slightly left
[01:46:42] [SPEAKER_02]: and so this is to people out there
[01:46:44] [SPEAKER_02]: who are in the moderate camp
[01:46:45] [SPEAKER_02]: to say I think you should support
[01:46:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Donald Trump for president
[01:46:50] [SPEAKER_02]: and I think it's actually a very important junction
[01:46:52] [SPEAKER_02]: in the road and we're deep trouble
[01:46:54] [SPEAKER_02]: if it goes the other way.
[01:46:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I wanna thank you
[01:46:58] [SPEAKER_00]: and you know, I actually always did think of you
[01:47:00] [SPEAKER_00]: as somewhat left, I must say that.
[01:47:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's even more of an honor
[01:47:05] [SPEAKER_00]: to have your endorsement.
[01:47:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I know how strong you feel about it
[01:47:07] [SPEAKER_00]: but you know, when you think of her,
[01:47:10] [SPEAKER_00]: San Francisco, 15 years ago,
[01:47:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I had a great friend Bob Tish,
[01:47:13] [SPEAKER_00]: he said it's the greatest city in America
[01:47:15] [SPEAKER_00]: and now it's almost not livable there
[01:47:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and California likewise
[01:47:21] [SPEAKER_00]: and she was involved in the destruction
[01:47:23] [SPEAKER_00]: of San Francisco and the destruction of California
[01:47:25] [SPEAKER_00]: and she will be involved in the destruction
[01:47:28] [SPEAKER_00]: of our country if people are so unwise
[01:47:32] [SPEAKER_00]: as to elect her
[01:47:33] [SPEAKER_00]: and I hope that doesn't happen
[01:47:35] [SPEAKER_00]: and I hope the elections are gonna be run honestly
[01:47:39] [SPEAKER_00]: and we're gonna turn this country around,
[01:47:41] [SPEAKER_00]: we're gonna do things that
[01:47:42] [SPEAKER_00]: and we can do it fairly quickly
[01:47:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and we have to get rid of the criminals
[01:47:46] [SPEAKER_00]: that have been given to us by other countries
[01:47:49] [SPEAKER_00]: as they laugh at us.
[01:47:50] [SPEAKER_00]: They think we're stupid to accept these people.
[01:47:53] [SPEAKER_00]: These are radical stone cold killers
[01:47:55] [SPEAKER_00]: in many cases and terrorists
[01:47:58] [SPEAKER_00]: and they're in our country by the hundreds of thousands
[01:48:02] [SPEAKER_00]: and we have to take them out.
[01:48:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean if I could summarize it perhaps,
[01:48:07] [SPEAKER_02]: you know, I think these are issues
[01:48:09] [SPEAKER_02]: that I think most people in America would agree with
[01:48:13] [SPEAKER_02]: which is that we want safe and clean cities,
[01:48:16] [SPEAKER_02]: we want secure borders,
[01:48:18] [SPEAKER_02]: we want sensible government spending,
[01:48:20] [SPEAKER_02]: we want to restore both the perception
[01:48:24] [SPEAKER_02]: and reality of respect in the judicial system,
[01:48:28] [SPEAKER_02]: just stop the lawfare
[01:48:30] [SPEAKER_02]: and I think that's like,
[01:48:33] [SPEAKER_02]: and how are those even right-wing positions?
[01:48:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I think those are just, that's just common sense
[01:48:39] [SPEAKER_02]: and that's, I mean would you agree with that?
[01:48:43] [SPEAKER_00]: 100%.
[01:48:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't understand, you know the whole,
[01:48:46] [SPEAKER_00]: they call it progressive,
[01:48:47] [SPEAKER_00]: they don't like the word liberal anymore
[01:48:48] [SPEAKER_00]: but call it liberal or progressive.
[01:48:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't understand how somebody could say
[01:48:53] [SPEAKER_00]: that it's okay for them to empty prisons
[01:48:55] [SPEAKER_00]: into our country
[01:48:56] [SPEAKER_00]: and again I told you their crime rates
[01:48:58] [SPEAKER_00]: all over the world are going way down,
[01:49:00] [SPEAKER_00]: which makes sense.
[01:49:01] [SPEAKER_00]: In fact the next time what we'll do
[01:49:02] [SPEAKER_00]: is if something happens with this election
[01:49:05] [SPEAKER_00]: which would be a horror show,
[01:49:06] [SPEAKER_00]: we'll meet the next time in Venezuela
[01:49:08] [SPEAKER_00]: because it'll be a far safer place to meet
[01:49:11] [SPEAKER_00]: than our country, okay?
[01:49:12] [SPEAKER_00]: So we'll go, you and I will go
[01:49:13] [SPEAKER_00]: and we'll have a meeting and dinner in Venezuela
[01:49:15] [SPEAKER_00]: because that's what's happening.
[01:49:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Their crime rates coming down
[01:49:18] [SPEAKER_00]: and our crime rates going through the roof
[01:49:20] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's so simple
[01:49:22] [SPEAKER_00]: and you haven't seen anything yet
[01:49:23] [SPEAKER_00]: because these people have come into our country
[01:49:26] [SPEAKER_00]: and they're just getting acclimated
[01:49:28] [SPEAKER_00]: and they don't know about being politically correct
[01:49:31] [SPEAKER_00]: law enforcement or lack of law enforcement
[01:49:34] [SPEAKER_00]: and our police, I have to just end with this,
[01:49:36] [SPEAKER_00]: we have great police, we have great law enforcement
[01:49:39] [SPEAKER_00]: but they're not allowed to do their job.
[01:49:41] [SPEAKER_00]: They have to be able to do their job
[01:49:42] [SPEAKER_00]: without being destroyed.
[01:49:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely and it's obviously demoralizing
[01:49:47] [SPEAKER_02]: if you're a police officer risking your life
[01:49:52] [SPEAKER_02]: to arrest violent criminals who could kill you
[01:49:55] [SPEAKER_02]: and do kill you sometimes
[01:49:56] [SPEAKER_02]: and then you arrest a violent criminal
[01:49:58] [SPEAKER_02]: and then the DA doesn't prosecute
[01:50:03] [SPEAKER_02]: and that's let the guy out.
[01:50:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, then like why should a police officer risk
[01:50:07] [SPEAKER_02]: their life to arrest a violent felon?
[01:50:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, even worse,
[01:50:12] [SPEAKER_00]: if nothing's gonna happen.
[01:50:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Even worse, they prosecute the police officer.
[01:50:16] [SPEAKER_00]: They go after it and they prosecute the police officer
[01:50:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and they take away his pension,
[01:50:21] [SPEAKER_00]: they take away his job, he loses his family,
[01:50:24] [SPEAKER_00]: he loses his house.
[01:50:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I thought it was very telling,
[01:50:29] [SPEAKER_02]: like incredibly telling that when there was a case
[01:50:33] [SPEAKER_02]: where sort of a gang of thugs beat up police officers
[01:50:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it was in Times Square in New York
[01:50:40] [SPEAKER_02]: and then nothing happened to those guys.
[01:50:43] [SPEAKER_02]: They were let out zero bail
[01:50:45] [SPEAKER_02]: and I think a bunch of them
[01:50:46] [SPEAKER_02]: were given free tickets to California.
[01:50:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, what is the,
[01:50:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean that is a gross indignity
[01:50:53] [SPEAKER_02]: against the United States
[01:50:54] [SPEAKER_02]: and that's how, this is insane.
[01:50:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Like have we lost all pride?
[01:51:00] [SPEAKER_02]: How can such a thing be allowed to occur?
[01:51:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I've never seen anything.
[01:51:03] [SPEAKER_00]: We see where they get shot.
[01:51:05] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a very dangerous profession
[01:51:07] [SPEAKER_00]: but something they're very proud of
[01:51:09] [SPEAKER_00]: and they wanna be able to do their job
[01:51:10] [SPEAKER_00]: but I've seen them get shot.
[01:51:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I've seen a lot of things
[01:51:12] [SPEAKER_00]: but I've never seen where these guys are standing
[01:51:15] [SPEAKER_00]: in the middle of a big street,
[01:51:17] [SPEAKER_00]: everybody watching them and they're literally boxing,
[01:51:19] [SPEAKER_00]: like punching, stand up fighting a police officer.
[01:51:24] [SPEAKER_00]: There were two of them
[01:51:25] [SPEAKER_00]: and you had about six of these guys
[01:51:26] [SPEAKER_00]: and they're punching the hell out of them
[01:51:28] [SPEAKER_00]: and in their own country,
[01:51:30] [SPEAKER_00]: they would be dead if they did that.
[01:51:32] [SPEAKER_00]: They'd be shot.
[01:51:33] [SPEAKER_00]: They would be shot instantly
[01:51:36] [SPEAKER_00]: and they come from these countries
[01:51:37] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's taken them a while to realize
[01:51:39] [SPEAKER_00]: that we don't do that in this country
[01:51:41] [SPEAKER_00]: but in their own country,
[01:51:42] [SPEAKER_00]: if they stood on a street
[01:51:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and had a fight with a police officer,
[01:51:46] [SPEAKER_00]: they would be shot.
[01:51:47] [SPEAKER_00]: There's no political correctness
[01:51:49] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's such a sad thing to see
[01:51:53] [SPEAKER_00]: and that's the reason we have time by the way
[01:51:55] [SPEAKER_00]: because we don't do anything about it.
[01:51:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we just cannot have a situation
[01:51:59] [SPEAKER_02]: where our police officer is beaten up on camera
[01:52:03] [SPEAKER_02]: by a gang of illegal immigrants
[01:52:05] [SPEAKER_02]: and then nothing happens to the guys
[01:52:08] [SPEAKER_02]: that beat up the cops and they're let out.
[01:52:11] [SPEAKER_02]: This is unacceptable.
[01:52:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, we're gonna change it
[01:52:13] [SPEAKER_00]: and we're gonna get them out of the country.
[01:52:15] [SPEAKER_00]: When I first got involved,
[01:52:17] [SPEAKER_00]: they said you couldn't get them back to these countries.
[01:52:19] [SPEAKER_00]: You couldn't take them back.
[01:52:20] [SPEAKER_00]: In the case of Guatemala, Honduras,
[01:52:23] [SPEAKER_00]: El Salvador, some others,
[01:52:25] [SPEAKER_00]: you couldn't get them back
[01:52:26] [SPEAKER_00]: and I said really?
[01:52:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you can't get them back
[01:52:28] [SPEAKER_00]: because under Obama, he couldn't get them back.
[01:52:31] [SPEAKER_00]: They'd fly them in
[01:52:32] [SPEAKER_00]: and they put planes on the runways in these countries
[01:52:34] [SPEAKER_00]: so you couldn't land a plane.
[01:52:36] [SPEAKER_00]: They'd bring them back
[01:52:37] [SPEAKER_00]: and the general told me,
[01:52:38] [SPEAKER_00]: the generals told me,
[01:52:39] [SPEAKER_00]: sir, we can't bring them back.
[01:52:40] [SPEAKER_00]: The countries won't accept MS-13 gang members.
[01:52:43] [SPEAKER_00]: They won't accept them
[01:52:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and I said really,
[01:52:45] [SPEAKER_00]: how much do we pay these various countries
[01:52:47] [SPEAKER_00]: in terms of economic aid,
[01:52:49] [SPEAKER_00]: which is also somewhat ridiculous
[01:52:51] [SPEAKER_00]: and the answer was $750 million.
[01:52:54] [SPEAKER_00]: They said good,
[01:52:55] [SPEAKER_00]: tell them they're in default.
[01:52:56] [SPEAKER_00]: They're delinquent.
[01:52:57] [SPEAKER_00]: We're not gonna do,
[01:52:58] [SPEAKER_00]: we're not paying them anymore
[01:52:59] [SPEAKER_00]: because they won't accept it
[01:53:01] [SPEAKER_00]: and you know what happened?
[01:53:02] [SPEAKER_00]: They all called me,
[01:53:03] [SPEAKER_00]: every one of them,
[01:53:03] [SPEAKER_00]: they said we would be honored to take them back.
[01:53:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Sir, we would be honored.
[01:53:07] [SPEAKER_00]: It was so easy
[01:53:08] [SPEAKER_00]: but it's one of those things
[01:53:10] [SPEAKER_00]: and we got them back.
[01:53:10] [SPEAKER_00]: We took in so many,
[01:53:11] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, MS-13 is probably the worst gangs
[01:53:14] [SPEAKER_00]: in the world.
[01:53:15] [SPEAKER_00]: They're the most vicious violence.
[01:53:17] [SPEAKER_00]: We took them out of here
[01:53:18] [SPEAKER_00]: by the thousands
[01:53:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and got them out of here
[01:53:20] [SPEAKER_00]: and their countries took them back
[01:53:22] [SPEAKER_00]: and because I said,
[01:53:24] [SPEAKER_00]: you're not getting any more economic aid
[01:53:26] [SPEAKER_00]: and once I said that,
[01:53:28] [SPEAKER_00]: they were nice.
[01:53:28] [SPEAKER_00]: They wouldn't take them back for Obama.
[01:53:30] [SPEAKER_00]: They wouldn't take them back for anybody
[01:53:33] [SPEAKER_00]: and now we have a problem
[01:53:34] [SPEAKER_00]: because we have this guy
[01:53:35] [SPEAKER_00]: and they again,
[01:53:36] [SPEAKER_00]: they don't take them back anymore
[01:53:37] [SPEAKER_00]: with Biden
[01:53:38] [SPEAKER_00]: because they don't respect him.
[01:53:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah.
[01:53:43] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just gotta be done.
[01:53:44] [SPEAKER_02]: We just can't have,
[01:53:48] [SPEAKER_02]: whether they're citizens or not citizens,
[01:53:50] [SPEAKER_02]: we can't have,
[01:53:51] [SPEAKER_02]: because there weren't prosecuted citizens either,
[01:53:53] [SPEAKER_02]: not just illegals.
[01:53:57] [SPEAKER_02]: you can't have violent,
[01:53:59] [SPEAKER_02]: repeat violent offenders
[01:54:01] [SPEAKER_02]: that don't get incarcerated
[01:54:05] [SPEAKER_02]: because they will obviously, by definition,
[01:54:09] [SPEAKER_02]: continue to hurt people
[01:54:14] [SPEAKER_02]: and I think where part of this comes from
[01:54:16] [SPEAKER_02]: is that there's,
[01:54:18] [SPEAKER_02]: and I do sort of consider myself liberal in some ways.
[01:54:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's just that you wanna have empathy for people.
[01:54:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Obviously you wanna have empathy for people.
[01:54:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I totally agree with that.
[01:54:26] [SPEAKER_02]: You wanna have empathy
[01:54:28] [SPEAKER_02]: but you also have to have empathy
[01:54:29] [SPEAKER_02]: for the victims of the criminals
[01:54:31] [SPEAKER_02]: and if you just have empathy for the criminals,
[01:54:34] [SPEAKER_02]: it's actually shallow empathy.
[01:54:36] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not real.
[01:54:37] [SPEAKER_02]: You're not thinking.
[01:54:38] [SPEAKER_02]: You have one layer deep empathy.
[01:54:41] [SPEAKER_02]: You gotta say like,
[01:54:42] [SPEAKER_02]: if you don't incarcerate this person,
[01:54:44] [SPEAKER_02]: who are they going to hurt?
[01:54:48] [SPEAKER_02]: They might kill someone.
[01:54:49] [SPEAKER_02]: They might rape someone.
[01:54:50] [SPEAKER_02]: If you don't incarcerate them,
[01:54:52] [SPEAKER_02]: you have to have empathy for the victims
[01:54:55] [SPEAKER_02]: and there's a lack of empathy
[01:54:56] [SPEAKER_02]: for the victims of the criminals
[01:54:58] [SPEAKER_02]: and too much empathy for the criminals.
[01:55:00] [SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't make sense.
[01:55:02] [SPEAKER_02]: That's why you wanna have deep empathy
[01:55:04] [SPEAKER_02]: for society as a whole,
[01:55:06] [SPEAKER_02]: not shallow empathy for criminals.
[01:55:08] [SPEAKER_00]: And we have to give our police officers
[01:55:10] [SPEAKER_00]: the dignity and the respect that they deserve
[01:55:13] [SPEAKER_00]: and we have to let them do their job.
[01:55:16] [SPEAKER_00]: They can do a great job
[01:55:17] [SPEAKER_00]: but we have to let them do their job
[01:55:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and if we don't do that,
[01:55:21] [SPEAKER_00]: it's gonna all disappear.
[01:55:24] [SPEAKER_00]: There's never been a society like this
[01:55:25] [SPEAKER_00]: where you're allowed to do anything you want
[01:55:28] [SPEAKER_00]: and nothing happens
[01:55:29] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'm talking about violent crime
[01:55:31] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's gonna get more violent
[01:55:33] [SPEAKER_00]: because these are really, really violent people
[01:55:36] [SPEAKER_00]: and we're gonna get them out of our country
[01:55:38] [SPEAKER_00]: and we're gonna get them back to where
[01:55:40] [SPEAKER_00]: because they were sent here by the presidents
[01:55:42] [SPEAKER_00]: and by the various people that run those countries
[01:55:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and I know every one of those guys
[01:55:45] [SPEAKER_00]: and they're smart people
[01:55:47] [SPEAKER_00]: and they're street wise people
[01:55:49] [SPEAKER_00]: and they really think that the USA is stupid.
[01:55:52] [SPEAKER_00]: They think we're run by stupid people
[01:55:54] [SPEAKER_00]: and they happen to be right
[01:55:55] [SPEAKER_00]: but when I was there,
[01:55:57] [SPEAKER_00]: we had no problem, we got them out.
[01:55:58] [SPEAKER_00]: We took out thousands of MS-13 gang members
[01:56:01] [SPEAKER_00]: who we brought them back
[01:56:02] [SPEAKER_00]: and now again, it's the same old story,
[01:56:05] [SPEAKER_00]: we don't do it
[01:56:06] [SPEAKER_00]: and they actually gave them a big increase in aid.
[01:56:09] [SPEAKER_00]: They raised it up to billions of dollars
[01:56:12] [SPEAKER_00]: and they get nothing for it.
[01:56:14] [SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, it's...
[01:56:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I hope everybody is gonna vote for Trump
[01:56:18] [SPEAKER_00]: and we're gonna get this country straight
[01:56:20] [SPEAKER_00]: and I didn't need this.
[01:56:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't need this.
[01:56:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I had a very nice life.
[01:56:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't need to go through court systems
[01:56:26] [SPEAKER_00]: and go through all the other stuff
[01:56:27] [SPEAKER_00]: and run at the same time.
[01:56:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I have to run.
[01:56:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I have to go through fake trials
[01:56:31] [SPEAKER_00]: with in some cases, corrupt judges,
[01:56:34] [SPEAKER_00]: totally corrupt judges.
[01:56:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't need it.
[01:56:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I had a nice life.
[01:56:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I have great locations.
[01:56:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I have beautiful oceans that I have places.
[01:56:41] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, this was...
[01:56:43] [SPEAKER_00]: But I felt it was important
[01:56:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and if I had to do it over again,
[01:56:48] [SPEAKER_00]: you probably think I'm crazy for doing it actually
[01:56:50] [SPEAKER_00]: but if I had to do it over again,
[01:56:52] [SPEAKER_00]: I would've done it over again
[01:56:54] [SPEAKER_00]: because this is so much more important
[01:56:56] [SPEAKER_00]: than me or my life.
[01:56:57] [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna save this country.
[01:56:59] [SPEAKER_00]: This country is going down
[01:57:00] [SPEAKER_00]: and these people are bad people
[01:57:03] [SPEAKER_00]: that we're running against
[01:57:04] [SPEAKER_00]: and they're liars.
[01:57:05] [SPEAKER_00]: They make statements.
[01:57:06] [SPEAKER_00]: They do things that are so bad.
[01:57:10] [SPEAKER_00]: They say they're gonna make a strong border.
[01:57:12] [SPEAKER_00]: They say they've been great on the border
[01:57:14] [SPEAKER_00]: and they've been the worst in history.
[01:57:16] [SPEAKER_00]: They say they're gonna stop crime.
[01:57:18] [SPEAKER_02]: The facts speak for themselves.
[01:57:19] [SPEAKER_02]: It's so incredible.
[01:57:20] [SPEAKER_02]: The facts speak for themselves.
[01:57:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Like it's got to the point
[01:57:23] [SPEAKER_02]: where people just don't even bother
[01:57:24] [SPEAKER_02]: reporting crime in a lot of cities
[01:57:25] [SPEAKER_02]: because they know nothing is gonna happen.
[01:57:28] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, that's what I hear anecdotally
[01:57:29] [SPEAKER_02]: from people all the time.
[01:57:32] [SPEAKER_02]: So you know, it's just...
[01:57:33] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, my values,
[01:57:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying to people out there,
[01:57:36] [SPEAKER_02]: the things I think are important for the future
[01:57:38] [SPEAKER_02]: is like we've got to have safe cities.
[01:57:40] [SPEAKER_02]: We've got to have secure borders.
[01:57:42] [SPEAKER_02]: We've got to have sensible spending
[01:57:44] [SPEAKER_02]: and we've got to have deregulation
[01:57:47] [SPEAKER_02]: and so we can have a prosperous future
[01:57:50] [SPEAKER_02]: and then we want to have some exciting
[01:57:52] [SPEAKER_02]: sort of moonshot projects
[01:57:54] [SPEAKER_02]: that people get fired up about
[01:57:57] [SPEAKER_02]: and you know, that's the future I'm looking for
[01:58:00] [SPEAKER_02]: and you know, I'm pro-environment
[01:58:02] [SPEAKER_02]: but I'm not against...
[01:58:04] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, I'm not like...
[01:58:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we should vilify the oil and gas industry
[01:58:08] [SPEAKER_02]: because they're keeping civilization going right now
[01:58:11] [SPEAKER_02]: but I do think we want to move
[01:58:13] [SPEAKER_02]: you know, at a reasonable speed
[01:58:15] [SPEAKER_02]: towards a sustainable energy economy.
[01:58:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Those are my values and I think...
[01:58:21] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, and so I mean that's
[01:58:26] [SPEAKER_02]: why I'm supporting you for president.
[01:58:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I appreciate it.
[01:58:29] [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna give incentive to companies
[01:58:33] [SPEAKER_00]: to come into our country, not to leave our country.
[01:58:36] [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna be giving tremendous incentives.
[01:58:39] [SPEAKER_00]: We want companies to build here,
[01:58:41] [SPEAKER_00]: not to build in other locations
[01:58:42] [SPEAKER_00]: and we wanna create jobs
[01:58:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and again, it's about the American dream.
[01:58:47] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't hear about the American dream anymore, Elon.
[01:58:49] [SPEAKER_00]: You're the American dream in the truest sense
[01:58:52] [SPEAKER_00]: but you don't hear about the American dream anymore
[01:58:54] [SPEAKER_00]: and you're gonna hear about it.
[01:58:56] [SPEAKER_00]: People, they need that incentive to go out and do it
[01:59:00] [SPEAKER_00]: and they're gonna love their lives.
[01:59:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they're gonna look forward
[01:59:03] [SPEAKER_00]: to getting up in the morning
[01:59:04] [SPEAKER_00]: and going to a job that they love,
[01:59:07] [SPEAKER_00]: not a job that they can't send
[01:59:09] [SPEAKER_00]: or not any job at all where they have no money
[01:59:12] [SPEAKER_00]: where they literally have no money
[01:59:13] [SPEAKER_00]: and then they end up with violence
[01:59:15] [SPEAKER_00]: and lots of other problems.
[01:59:16] [SPEAKER_00]: No, we're gonna do some great things
[01:59:18] [SPEAKER_00]: and I learned a lot in the first.
[01:59:19] [SPEAKER_00]: We had a great economy and all of that.
[01:59:22] [SPEAKER_00]: We rebuilt the military, we did so much
[01:59:23] [SPEAKER_00]: but I also learned and I also learned the best people.
[01:59:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I learned the good people, the smart people,
[01:59:29] [SPEAKER_00]: the dumb people, the people that can do things.
[01:59:31] [SPEAKER_00]: You learn, when I first came in, I tell people
[01:59:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I was in Washington DC only 17 times
[01:59:37] [SPEAKER_00]: according to the fake news media.
[01:59:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I was in 17 times, I never stayed over
[01:59:42] [SPEAKER_00]: and you don't know people.
[01:59:43] [SPEAKER_00]: You rely on other people to give your names
[01:59:45] [SPEAKER_00]: and then you realize the people you relied on
[01:59:48] [SPEAKER_00]: weren't so good.
[01:59:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Now we had great people but we also had some
[01:59:51] [SPEAKER_00]: where I wouldn't have used them had I known.
[01:59:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Now I know everybody and I think we're gonna
[01:59:57] [SPEAKER_00]: really turn things around fast.
[01:59:59] [SPEAKER_00]: We have no choice otherwise
[02:00:00] [SPEAKER_00]: we're not gonna have a country.
[02:00:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And I really appreciate this has been, to me
[02:00:04] [SPEAKER_00]: it's been a lot of fun being with you.
[02:00:05] [SPEAKER_00]: You're an amazing guy, you've done an incredible job
[02:00:08] [SPEAKER_00]: and a great inspiration to people, a great inspiration
[02:00:12] [SPEAKER_00]: and I hope you keep going and just continue to do well
[02:00:16] [SPEAKER_00]: and we're gonna have a big election coming up
[02:00:18] [SPEAKER_00]: and I think November 5th will be the most important day
[02:00:22] [SPEAKER_00]: in the history of our country.
[02:00:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I think that election will be the most important election
[02:00:26] [SPEAKER_00]: and I think it'll end up being maybe
[02:00:28] [SPEAKER_00]: the most important day in the history of our country
[02:00:32] [SPEAKER_00]: because if we don't win, I just feel so sorry for everybody.
[02:00:37] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I think we're at a folk in the road
[02:00:39] [SPEAKER_02]: of destiny of civilization
[02:00:42] [SPEAKER_02]: and I think we need to take the right path
[02:00:46] [SPEAKER_02]: and I think you're the right path.
[02:00:49] [SPEAKER_02]: So I think that's what it comes down to.
[02:00:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you very much, Elon.
[02:00:51] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a great honor and we'll do it again sometime
[02:00:54] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's been really fun
[02:00:56] [SPEAKER_00]: and I hope you got a lot of viewers.
[02:00:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I hear you got a lot.
[02:00:59] [SPEAKER_00]: But I hope you got a lot.
[02:01:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Sure, yeah.
[02:01:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I know you got a lot of them.
[02:01:04] [SPEAKER_00]: So I appreciate it.
[02:01:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll see you soon.
[02:01:07] [SPEAKER_02]: All right, sounds good, thank you.
[02:01:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Elon.
[02:01:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you very much, bye.
[02:01:38] [SPEAKER_00]: That's a wrap, PBN family.
[02:01:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Hope you enjoyed it.
