H you're listening here again, you were pay us back just ability ship. Well, hello everyone, welcome in, Welcome in, catch a catch your breath, and let's do a show. I uh, I kind of want to do like a hangout. I kind of would like to hang. With you to day. Not too over the top, any one subject, not dig deep into some conspiratorial thing or some preparedness thing. We'll talk. About tremendous preper products like the Sidekick by hydro Blue. Let's let's expand our horizons here so you can see this thing, the Sidekick by hydro Blue three stage straw water filter. Look at that thing. Uh, tiny, compact, beautiful, effective, smaller than the life Straw, cheap Huh, affordable water preps Hydroblue dot com. Check them out. Incredible sponsor Refocus. No, you see my book back there, The Ultimate Survival Toolkit would be out in Amazon or on Amazon rather on the twenty eighth. Look, the issue, like with the podcast lately, is there's just too much to talk about all the time. And uh, I'm trying to stay I'm trying my damnedest to stay focused for you. Got I really am. You know, there's things I'm excited about There's things that we gotta do. You know. One of the biggest things that we gotta do, like we gotta spread the word about PBN. We gotta just take the link to the podcast, put it in an email, send it to a person. Take the link from today's podcast or a podcast that you liked last week. Said this may be not the best one to share. I don't depending on who your friends are, family and that kind of thing. Because truth be told, I have no idea where it's gonna go. I have no clue, no notes, nothing. I got some books, I got a thumb drive, I got a double a battery. You know what I mean. This thing could go anywhere. We could build something, we could burn something, we could I got a tape recorder here with with a piece of PBN lore that I really have to get working. Here's my problem. You're listening to the voice of. A future Dan. I guess what I have to do is I have to find a quiet time. There's no switch on this thing. There's no switch that will make it. Remember there used to be like a switch that would make tape players go backwards. We have the entirety of Dark Trail March here on this antique piece of alien technology known as a tape player. Cassette tape player. Dark Trail March is the prepper is the prepping. Uh. Hold on a second, let me get this just right there you go. I wanted to look like my eyes. Dark Trail March is the prepping uh exercise that you never heard. You never heard it. It's like as Your Highland, something along those lines, but we never got it to the audience. The guys recorded the entire thing on this cassette, on this cassette player recorder. I got it. I couldn't find First of all, I couldn't get this to work at all. Then I couldn't find anything on the tape. Then when I finally found the tape, it's in ancient Sumerian. So we're gonna get The reason this is sitting on my desk is because I've been putting it off, putting it off, putting it off for a long time. We're gonna bring the. Dark Trail March back to life because it was a great exercise. In fact, was it Dark Trail March or was As Your Highland? I think Dark Trail March was the worst uh, the real true battle that I'm trying to remember, there's an image in my head burned into my head. I get to the Jones Homestead, I approach Ben, the breaker of the Bangsters, who is just totaled, you know what I mean. I'm looking at him and he's just totaled and rightly. So, you know, when when we do these prepper exercises, they're never easy. And that's the whole point, right, The whole point is, don't we don't want it to be easy. What's the point of that? Right? What is up? Firewolf? How you doing? Yeah? I don't. I'm trying. I want to play it the right way, you know what I mean? What's up? Rom in Black? How you doing well? Perfect timing? Anti virus? Perfect timing, guys, that's probably gonna lag this show like crazy anyhow, Yeah, perfect timing on that. I am playing it backwards because it only plays backwards. I guess what I could do if I were smart. See, sometimes I gotta get with you guys and talk with you guys because it helps my brain go to a different place. I guess what I could do is just go to like Goodwill and buy a tape player. Huh, a new tape player? Don't you think run it in that My plan is to run it in front of this microphone and then reverse the whole thing with audio editing. But whatever, whatever the situation is, just some things. I could do a podcast called on the Desk. I think that would be kind of fun because there's always wild stuff on the desk. You want to see another cool thing I found. I'm sure you the price of it first, because I thrift shop like a madman. So five bucks, right. If I see a book that looks like this, I'm probably buying it. You know what I mean it to be. It have to be real boring for me to not buy it. But this is imitation of Christ. And this is first of all, there's a handwritten note on the inside. And the handwritten note on the inside of this book is probably as beautiful as anything printed in the book. The book is ancient. I don't know when it's from. I didn't really care that much about you know, it's not like something I'm going to resell. I never read it. The imitation of Christ, and I really want to. But look at this note, this handwritten, exquisite note. Another reason I bought the book that is not printed, folks, some guys just like scrawl or gal scrawled. That down. A long long time ago to my D. B. L. R. K. McCoy, with the love and with love, with the love and best wishes of the of Fred Willilliams. It's hard to read beautiful though. Thomas A. Kempis new edition, New York, M d C C c XC. Let's see what it is. I'm not I know my Roman numerals pretty well. Let's see md C C x C I I what we got, guys. That must have been when it was first written. This is a new edition, but it says it's in seventeen ninety three. This book is not that old, right, there's no way it's that old. If it is, they kept it up like you wouldn't believe, because it's it's in pretty good condition. Yeah, this is one. I gotta sit down. I gotta get in the hammock with this one. This is this is an important book, you know, on hiding of God's secret judgments of our own infirmity. Well, that's that's my chapter right. There be therefore ready for battle. If you wish to win the victory without a conflict, you cannot obtain the crown of patients. But if you desire to be crowneds, drive man fully, bear patiently without toil. You cannot arrive at rest nor without a battle. Can you attain victory? Make that possible to me, Oh Lord, by your grace, which appears impossible to me by nature. Thou knowest how little I am able to bear, and how soon I am cast down when a slight trouble arises. Let every discipline of tribulation be accepted by me in the spirit of love for thy name's sake. For to suffer pain or trouble for THEE is very beneficial for my soul. Yeah, this is going to be a good read. Five bucks, you're kidding five dollars, Thanks Robin Black. See you later. But how is everybody? I'm just giving you a little tour of the things that are on my desk. I also have Prepper's Home Defense to another great book everybody should have. I got the old edition on the desk right now. There is a new edition Preppers Home Defense Bingo, beautiful wonderful books. Should we talk about books? Do you guys want to talk about books? Of all things? Of the writing of many books, there is no end. I'm forty years old. I don't know. I probably have written nearly forty books. I've probably written nearly a book for each year of my life. Is that hard to believe? It's crazy to think about. Well, some I. Didn't write completely, so I guess I shouldn't get all the credit for that. But I do this podcast, and I meet people and speak and do that kind of stuff and consult a little here and there, and it's you know, you forget that you're an author. You forget that you're a writer. A lot of times. It's weird. You can't remember everything you know in a day's time. You don't wait. I don't wake up every day as a thing like I don't wake up, you know what I mean, Like if you have a profession, you wake up and you're like, I'm a car salesman, man, I'm gonna go in here and sell these cars, you know. Or I'm a truck driver, man, I'm gonna go drive this truck. It's really weird living this life that I live largely podcast writer. I spend a lot of time every day writing in the sense of like day to day work, right, But it's really strange because a lot of times you wake up and you're like, I'm just I'm James like I was yesterday, and you forget about it, You forget about the things. There's an interesting article out of the the NY Post, the New York Posts, probably a great I wonder what's going on at the New York Post these days? You know me. I'm at the Times reader through and through. Right, we do the newspaper. We do the newspaper for those of you who are uninitiated. Right, let's open up the let's open up the floodgates so you can see the beautiful newspaper. It's a beautiful thing. Man newsprint, baby newsprint. This is a great article by my favorite author at the Epic Times, k Rubichick, K, come on the show, Come on, Kay Rubicheck. A great article about the kids are not okay with AI and they know it. All these different commencement speeches. That's right. That's the right word, isn't it. Commencement speeches, all these graduation speeches, and the kids are just basically like booing people from the AI world who showed up to do their graduation talk. It's a thing. My kids don't want to see it. I can tell you that much. My kids do not like it, and they smell it out like you wouldn't believe. They sniff it out like that's a I turn it off, and you know, it's one of those things. I think they're very threatened by it, as they should be, you know I do. I think kids are threatened by artificial intelligence, as they should be. What I really hate is the idea that oh, look at that I ran and executes two young men for offering to help a fleeing anti regime protesters. That's weird, out of character for that great nation where it war with. Okay, well, the post is kind of crap. I mean the website. I'm sorry. Websites are hard, man. They're really hard to watch. They're really hard to go to. They must be really hard to keep afloat. You know, visit Redbeaconmedia dot com. By the way, if you want to go to a really nice website, like a really nice website. Nope, hop ups, no crap right. We run ads native ads on PBN, That's what we do. But I'll never have pop ups and nonsense at Redbeaconmedia dot com, at Prepperbroadcasting dot com. These things will never have disaster coffee that. You can't. It's so insane to go to a website and try to navigate it. Mom, Donnie and his DSA comrades have one goal, a communist revolution in America. This is written by Lady Miranda Divine, Divine, devine. Not sure it's it's well done, not that like I'm surprised, but it's just it's a very aggressive article for a female writer. In my opinion. That's everybody is gonna be like, what what's that supposed to me? But I don't know. Just is enemy mind over matter over at Instagram. Welcome in man, cool uh cool name. I like that. Let's get into this thing. Man our preening mayor well well put. Zoran the Sultan Mamdani says his administry doesn't call him the Sultan. I do. I don't want to get her in any more trouble. Says his administration's legal department is examining how best to arrest Benjamin net Yahoo. I love this. This, This is phenomenal right here. This is one of my favorite things going on right now, that that Zoran the Sultan is so drunk on his power that he thinks he's going to arrest Benjamin y Yahu. He's a war criminal who has been charged by the International Criminal Court. Remind me again, who gives half of a cuss about the International Criminal Court? Just remind me, Remind me of the jurisdiction. Remind me why I'm supposed to care even a little bit about the International Criminal Court. And also remind me when the last time the International Criminal Court did anything of note, arrested anyone of note? They are they the ones that arrested the Tates, the tape brother? How would people get. So wrapped up over these guys one way or the other? Ha, we finally got them. We're oh, no, there goes my hero Andrew Tate. Marco Rubio has thoughts on this and much more. He said, well, he says kind of the same thing I do. The ICC's interfering with American military and law enforcement operations would mean the death of the US as a sovereign and independent nation. But this is America. Independence is our birthrate. We don't intend to trade it for rule by his self appointed priesthood of international law. Freedoms and Rumors of Freedoms. The reason I titled the podcast Freedoms and Rumors of Freedoms is because if you haven't noticed the movement, particularly in the Democrat Party, is to install people who are you know, they like to wield selective freedoms. That's pretty much in a nutshell. They call on amendments when it suits them, and then they try to outlaw the amendments that don't suit them, or when they don't suit them, or parse them out in a way that only suits them. It is no matter what's happening. Look, this is about to get highly political. I don't really care that much, but no matter what's happening with the economy, with the war. Look, I don't want to be at war. I do not want to be. At war with Iran, not at all, not in the least. I think we should have killed as many people at the top as possible from the get go. That should have been priority number one. We should have sent in whatever we needed to send in to do that, to decimate the leadership. But the American people won't let you do that because they don't like when you do regime change, so you get hampered by that. We didn't want to send ground voices in, so these guys escaped the way to tunnels. And this is where we're at. You know, we still in the United States don't know how to fight war, right And one of the reasons we don't know how to fight war is we don't vote for it. If we did things the right way and whatever, you know, you could say what you want about the political process right now, there's no way that Democrats would have voted for war and approved the war with Iran. Maybe not, but that's saying something. Isn't that saying something in and of itself? Right? If this is as pressing an issue as it is to the America. But then again, the American people also we suffer a bit of life, Like. What do we suffer? Affluence? Isn't that what they used to call it? Affluents with rich kids who yeah, they're sort of like so so distant from the real world and real world troubles that it's almost, you know, it's almost a different thing. Firewolf says, thought Tate was in jail already, No clue sounds good to me. I mean, neither here nor there, to be honest with you, couldn't care less, couldn't care less. I never was really on the Tate train. Mam Donnie's belief that as a minor municipal functionary he wields some imaginary international power to subvert American sovereignty just so the shows the delusions of his ideology. This is it, folks, this is the war we are waging in the United States right now. And like I was going to say, no matter what's going on with the war, no matter what's going on with the economy, you have to understand one thing. When it comes to primary season. There are two parties like it loved or hated. It is what it is. You got two choices, Democrats Republicans. The Republican Party is what it is. It plays host to the most hated man in the world. The Democrat Party is a dissolving entity, or at least an entity so male or a reforming entity. Let's go with that. The Democrat Party right now is a reforming entity, not reforming anything but itself. It's reforming in a in a red green alliance. Fundamentally, I don't know. If you don't know what the Red Green Alliance is, look it up. But that's what it is. It's it's reforming in a communo fascisty mooslow derivation that there will be freedoms and rumors of freedoms. If you you know what I mean, there's a lot at risk man survival man to welcome in. How are you. Figure it out this time? That's a good Instagram handle. I like that, even though most of us know we won't figure it out this time. It'll take like six more times. Because that's life. So you know, keep that in mind when you go to the polls. That's all. That's the course of the life of mortal men in these primaries. That just is. What it is. That's what you're voting for, you know what I mean. You might don't, probably don't like the party of old mean white guys in the Republican Party, and look, there's corruption in there. They'll pad their pockets, they'll make sure that the defense companies get their money and so on and so forth. But the Democrat Party is on its way to total communism. That's what it is. The Democratic Socialists of America know nothing, have built nothing, and don't understand the country they live in. Yet they imagine they have the moral authority to tear it down. Tearing it down is the important part. Everything that you love about life, and everything that you complain about as not being good enough in your life can easily be destroyed till you to a point where you wake up every day and hope the water is safe to drink, right till you wake at the unprepared within your ranks will wake up and worry whether or not the water. Is safe to drink. We will not worry because we have our friends at hydroblue dot com. Should I do it again? Let's do it again? What the hell's my show? It's my show and it's basically free, right. You can do whatever you want. You don't want to see the versa flow from hydro blue. You don't have to see the versa flow. But when your communist buddies break the water system and big cities like New York, you know how they do in calib and they're like, you know what, maybe we don't need. Water in the fire. Hydrants if you've got an inline versus flow water filter, which is like under thirty bucks. By the way, this thing. Do you believe that the prices at hydro blue dot com are crazy? Let me get you the actual price because I don't want to speak out of out of step here, but I want you to understand it because I mean, it's guys, they need to charge more money for their products first of all. But the hydro bo this right here, This package comes with the inline versus flow water filter, comes with the spigot, comes with the two bags, the tubing. I mean, this guy is phenomenal. Right, it's twenty it's twenty five dollars. Twenty five dollars. I can't even take a kid out to eat for twenty five dollars. Understand, I can't take a child out to eat at most places for twenty five dollars. But I can filter ten thousand gallons one hundred thousand gallons of water for twenty five dollars. Where's it at? I can filter up to one hundred thousand gallons of water for twenty five dollars with hydro Blue. Dude. Visit hydro blue dot com. They're not going to keep their prices like that forever. It's insanity, right. If you think them prices are going to be like that forever, you're out of your mind. So check them out because the cost of things, Okay, the cost of things is driving me insane, it really is. Speaking of hydrants, the headwater dude wants to charge the fire department for the water they use. Where fire will forge tell me more, tell me more of the communist fire water crew. It's got to be in La right. Hey, wake up, buddy, I'm the host. Sorry, camera was misbehaving. What do we used to call the camera? Remember you had a name? What was his name? The camera used to have a name. I forget what it was. It was the robot from Uh it wasn't R two D two? What was the robot movie from the eighties? Yeah? Short circuit? What was short circuit Robot's name? Isn't that what we used to call him? Let me query the internet real quick. What Johnny five? That was it? Johnny five? I didn't watched that in a while. Oh, they want to charge it in Texas, guys. I had a local Prepper yesterday. I posed, did this is a reminder like this is important the local preppers cool school. Check them out YouTube. I don't know where else he's at. He's on X. He reached out to me on X, but I posted, Ah, I posted something they're doing in Virginia. You know what I mean. Virginia is hilarious. It's it's one of the funniest places to live of all time. But there's so much corruption. It's unbelievable because the filth of North is leaking, dancing, dripping on my my big nose every day, the filth. And then I'll let's bring it up. Let's bring it. Up and we'll talk about it. What the hell, it's not even ten o'clock yet, I've got all the shows up for the day. Did the Red Beacon Daily News already promoted Redbeaconmedia dot Com already? I mean, we've been busy around here. But it's a big day. It's a big, huge day. It's so much to do. There's so much to do today. I almost was going to broadcast from the VR headset and spar live while I did the show. It's like I could kill two birds with one stone. Here, Oh, here you go. Virginia Democrats vote to remove photo ID requirement for voting. There's no sense, you know what I'm saying. There's no sense. There is a destruction of the United States. That is the motivation. In the back of my head. There's always the idea of running, you know what I mean. It was in there since twenty twenty. And then I hear stories like they want to charge you for water usage if you're a fire department which is funny because I thought the fire department state anyway. But whatever, just another brilliant democratic move. I'm sure. I posted that and the local prepper was like, you should move like I did from Virginia to another state. And believe me, like when Abigail, the mother of Mayhem Spamberger got in office, Dave Jones and I and several other people were definitely sitting here going like, should we move, should we leave? You know what I mean, just how bad could it get? And all that kind of stuff, especially when she comes out of the gates and it's like, well, let's just take all the guns, right, gets a Muslim from northern Virginia to write up two bills, one that is let's take the guns and another one that is let's turn any comments that are negative about Islam into a hate crime. Well, welcome home. I don't want to talk about that. I went on and on about hate crimes last week and the inefficiencies they create. But uh, he said, oh, well you should move like I did. And you know, one of the things in back in twenty twenty, it seemed like it made sense. Right, you had some you had some places to go. First of all, there's a real, like Philly kind of middle finger in me, in my heart and soul. You know what I mean. It's a rigid middle finger that is very territorial, you know what I mean. You grow up in a place like Philly, there is territory. You know. You see people in your territory in the opposing garb, and it's like, you know what I mean, it's it's just bred into you. So and I left, so I can't say that I'm you know, so passionate about it, but it's you know, I got to piss on the bushes sometimes. But one thing that I really don't like is the idea that I'm gonna leave because because of something morons, do you know what I mean? I don't think I could do it. I think I almost feel like if it got so bad that i'd rather the family leave, you know what i mean. I'm talking you. Know, SHTF situation like we really should leave. I would feel better being like, you know, the kids are older, the wife busy, she's over me. Anyway, you guys go and move. I'll stay here with the resources that I have and fight the good fight, because you got to understand, I love it here it's a beautiful southern city. Actually, Virginia itself is an incredible state. It is an incredible state, you. Know what I mean. And I came here not necessarily kicking and screaming, but kind of and the idea, and over time I just unmasked and unwrapped all the beauty of this state. And it's a place I will happily die. I'll happily die here of old age, no problem whatsoever. Hopefully on the James River, you know, Hopefully I get a good heart attack on the James pass out, drowned. And that's it. Whatever happened to Dad, I don't know. He went fishing, never came back. But to be honest with you, man, like the idea that some dumb let's see right, like who sponsored it? This is the kind of stuff that you just have to think about it this way, you know what I mean? Or I do. I'm not saying local preppers in the wrong for moving like, get the hell out of here. If it's not what you want to do, you know what I mean, Go, it's fine, it makes perfect sense. You do you But me, like, this is one of those things, it's just so what is it? WHSV three w h SV three Democrats voter I D Virginia. If you want to learn how to prompt the internet? Was it? Mark Warner? Senator Mark Warner called out on ABC intervery for an accurate voter I D claims this is old. No, it's not either. It is yesterday. Now. I understand that you think that you and I think every other Democrat opposed to this so called Save America Act. And there's a lot of reasons that you've put forward. But let me ask you very narrowly on the issue of photo ID requying photo ID to register to vote, to vote. Is this something that Democrats should get behind? Carl asked this week you know what? Oh, come on, man, just let me read the article. See this is why I had to create Red Beacon Media because these websites are brutal. Oh now, I can can't finish it perfect. Thank you, Fox worthless, worthless, Fox News. Okay, let's go this way. Let's go through the back door. Where's your response. You know what, in Virginia, we have voter ID and photo I D. Warner said, that's actually not the case. Carl said, I mean, I'm a Virginia voter. You don't need to show a photo ID in Virginia. There are a wide range of things you could show four ID. Show one of those, you can, David saying. In a testing you can sign an AFFID David Warner said, Carl said, and AFFID David was not required. Those become ballots that if we want to contest later can be contested. But we have voter ID in one form or another one. This is not what I'm looking for basically. But see the other thing is is this even real? We're all mad down here, do. You know what I mean? It's like the twenty percent of the shit I read and repost, even working hard you doing with Virginia Democrats vote to remove a photo ID. The thing, The thing about a lot of these things on X that you wind up posting and reposting is like sometimes they're ancient, sometimes they're ancient. I can't find this this now that I'm looking it up. But it doesn't matter. Is this is the full story? It doesn't matter because what because I don't want to sede land to the losers or the communists or the socialists, right I, personally, I don't care what you want to do. You do what you want to do. It's fine. I really don't care, you know what I mean. I know the foothills of Virginia are filled with people who in the worst case scenario, right, but I'm not going anywhere, I can tell you that. And my but my biggest fault in all of it, right, And why I'm kind of talking out of my ass a little bit is because I'm not in politics, and I should be in politics. It's really that simple. I mean, when you think about my situation, my position where I'm at, what could a guy like me do? Well, maybe I don't know. It takes a lot of money. But when you think about all that stuff, you think about, oh, you've got a lot of good ideas, or you got this, or you got that or whatever. You have such a big problem with the way things are run, why don't you do something about it? Where I am certainly falling short. Is in that end. Now, life, my friends, is a book of many chapters. Okay, You've got to understand that about life, you know, And this chapter of mine is not necessarily the one I think I need to be waiting through the filth of Virginia politics. But we're getting close. We're getting close. We're in a different chapter right now. You know what I mean. We're in the family chapter and the upbringing of children chapter and the building of the businesses chapter. And you know, like I said, that chapter will end one day, and who knows what awaits? Maybe politics, A lot of people tell me. And if my goals or maybe not necessarily my goals, but if enjoying life requires Richmond, Virginia to be more than a statue trashing socio communist state cultural mess, right then maybe maybe time will tell. We'll see. I don't know just is what it is. What I do want you to understand is that the socialists and the communists are on the move. Leftists are motivated by envy and a poisonous result, the author says here that makes them hostile to everything that has made americ successful, As Rubio said last week when opening the State Department Conference on Combating Left Wing Violence, something his Cuban emigrat family knows a thing or two about, like Gordillo Uganda born Momdani and so many of their DSA comrades, from Somali born rep Ilhan Omar deportation to Ecuador born assembly Woman Diana Moreno deportation came to America or in some cases, were born here after their families fled countries crippled by socialism. Why do they come here and hate it? Why? Why do some come here and hate it and most come here and go don't do what we did? And you know, I really think the reason for this? Do you want to know the reason? What I really think? Because I know like human nature, you know what I mean, most of the time, it's just human name. Everything can be explained by human nature. This is what I think. I think if you come over here and you get a job, and you work and you go, America is sweet. There's food, there's water everywhere that you can just drink out of the tap. It's nice, tons of opportunities. People are nice, you know what I mean. You rarely see beheadings in the streets. You come to the country, you assimilate to the country, You appreciate the country. You can still love the country you came from. In the history, nobody, you know, nobody's ever gotten on the Italians, nobody's ever gotten on the Irish for love in their country and also loving America. I think the problem is when you come here and you get a taste of either fame, notoriety, or the Greenbacks for being anti American. I really think that that's what it is. I think a loser like illhan Omar came to the country, did heinis stuff in her country, I'm sure, and was clearly fine with doing Haines stuff to get to the country. In the country, stay in the country into Congress. God only knows, to make her millions, right, Oh, I got ninety five million dollars in net Worth? Really Nope, just kidding. You start getting people in your face and they saying, ilhan Omar, you're so brave, we're gonna vote you back in. Yeah, we're gonna vote you. Oh man, we'll get you know, we're gonna get here and meet this person that all you got to do is sit there and start hollering and railing over the United States. And there are a lot of enemies of the United States with a lot of money and a lot of influence will influence these people to do just that, you know what I mean, influence these people to become America haters, not even because they really hate the country. They I mean, you have to be an idiot if you can't from a place like Somalia and get to americaan go, well, this just isn't right around here, right moron? So uh, I really do think it comes down to that. I think the Democrat Party is drama club. And listen, I love a good play, you know me. I'm poetry and literature boy, right, I like a good play. I like a good Shakespearean. But I think the Democrat Party is really that now. I think it's all an act. I think Mamdani is an act. I think elan Omar is an act. I know a case Eo Cortez is an act. You know. I really do believe this, guys. I believe that they have fallen to the sin of vanity and they just can't get enough of it. They can't get enough of it. They've fallen into this niche and they're inviting more people just like them in there, you know what I mean, Just just just come on in, come on into our party. This is the role we all play. We're all America haters, we're communists. We're bringing about the the communist Islam Revolution in the United States because we're fighting for the oppressed. Get me a microphone so I can scream into it about the you know, the nasty capitalist system. They all learned from the sort of the head master Bernie Sanders, right, they learned their game from the headmaster Bernie Sanders. Who is I think he is a true believer. I don't think you know he's He's the be a Tree guy in the Drama Club. You know, be a Tree. You're like, he's a true believer. The other ones are like, oh, I want to be famous, so I'll say whatever I need to say. Hit the brakes. Hit the brakes. Because our Portuguese prepper is with us and he's asking about breakfast. You should know, man, ten am Eastern Standard time. I haven't eaten yet. No, that's not a lie. I had a couple pieces of incredibly sweet and delicious crisp hydrating watermelon before I started work today. Very rare that I eat that early, but it was just there. I cut it up last night and I was like, oh, man, we're hydrating in the morning, so you know, you can get away with fruit in the morning. Doesn't mess your fast up too bad. But I'm in had some pasta bowling naisy. That sounds everything pasta is the best. It really is, Like I'm at a point in my life where I take pasta over basically everything, if it's the right pasta for the day. You know what I mean. I take a pasta bowling nasy for dinner tonight over a ribbi steakh No way, no way, A grilled ribbi, a grilled venison steak. Are you kidding? I don't know. I just like it better. I just think it's better food. I really do. I I really do believe it. I think that it's there's something about it. There's something about a bowl of pasta, sliced garlic, red chili flake, chopped basil, parmesan cheese, come on olive, a good olive. Oil on top. Like that. There's something to that meal that is religious. I know you're like me. I do believe that prepper has to have cooking skills. Oh yeah, one hundred percent. All right, you gotta have the cooking skills, right. Cosmo over and Instagram champagne socialism. I love that. That's it, Cosmo says, Pesto alfredo no tomato for me. I love it all. Pesto does sound good. Actually, that may go down today. Grilled fire the grill up. Let's go to SHTF chef fire the grill up right, marine the chicken. We marinate the chicken, probably something simple, you know what I mean, good olive oil, garlic, maybe maybe a little lemon, maybe grilled chicken, fresh pesto. Go pull the basil right, maybe you got the pine nuts. If you don't have the pine nuts, don't worry about it. Make the basil pesto with the basil, the parmesan cheese, the olive oil, the fresh garlic. It's still phenomenal. Right, And if you want to, if you want to cheat a little bit, you can add you can add some spinach to it. It makes it like super bright green. It's a little chef cheat trick, but it works. And man, Yeah, then then some farfallet, some cavatapi, some pennae right tossed in the pesto, grilled chicken sliced on top. Maybe a little parmesan cheese on top of it all. Definitely some olive oil on top. All of that. That's dinner. That's my mouth is ordering like crazy. Over at redbeaconmedia dot com, we have an SHTF section SHTF chef section, and that is where I'm finally gonna give you guys all my dirty secrets in the kitchen. Okay, before I was here doing this, before I was here as a writer, I was a chef. I went was classically trained as a chef in the restaurant industry, and in college by a great chef, actually a Michelin starred chef, Jean Francois Lassance, one of my favorite dudes of all time. Man, I know he's dead now, but he's He was so much fun man in college. He was such a great chef to have in college. I love that guy. Man. Lissancelissance was amazing. Was Belgian, Belgian chef. He had a one Michelin starred restaurant in Belgium, and he was just he was Belgian, you know what I mean. He wasn't like a Johnny Calm down, you don't need to track my movements. This is how AI will track your movements and shoot you to death if you try to go break into a data center to you know, subdue the portal ways to Hell that they're building. But anyway, Laissance was amazing man, because he was Belgian and he wasn't Belgian masquerading as American. But he did love the country and he loved his job. But he was always picking on us, and it was so funny. It was. It was hilarious. He would tell me story. You wouldn't even believe the stories he'd tell me. He putting stuff away, temperature and stuff time, temperature, abuse safe, you know, serve safe was a big piece of it. And look, food safety is essential. There's a reason we don't have big outbreaks like we currently have. But that's that's not from you know, kitchen preparation. But anyhow, we'd be putting stuff away and we put the mayonnaise in the fridge, and he's a fridge. It'd say, we'd take the mayonnaise and we'd put it under the open top that they put the mayonnaise underneath the counter, you know what I mean. And that's where it stayed. That's where you stored the mayonnaise in Belgium. Never went in the fridge, you know what I mean. It never never went in the frigerator. I walked into the to the walk in one day. We ran restaurants in college. It was a really good program. We had a like a courtyard. We had four different restaurants that were opened every night in my college. And we operate the students operate. We waited tables, we were cooks. Sometimes we would be uh, every position you did every position in a restaurant by the time you were done your degree there and it was it was a great program. I mean, really, you one thing's for sure. You didn't leave Walnut Hill College the restaurant school in Philadelphia going I don't know if I like being a chef or not. I don't know if I want to own a restaurant or not. Like you knew one hundred percent, you were like, Okay, this is for me. I like this. So we had, you know, a lot of work to do each and every day. We had a big reservation book. People came all the time. The prices were really cheap. You got like really good food most of the time, and prices were really cheap. So people came. And one of our dining rooms was five starsh you know what I mean. Like we did table side cooking and it was really fun. It was cool. And I remember going in Saturday to open the restaurants and I was there early because I drove into the city. You know. I used to drive an old ninety two green Oldsmobile in the West Philadelphia, park it on the street and walk on into work, were into college whatever, and the chef was in the walk in refrigerator eating eating steak tar tar that I think was three days old with his hands out of a bowl. And I was like, Chef, is that from the party from Wednesday? And he was like, yes, it is good. We did a good talk talk. We did a good talk tar. And I was like, isn't that too You gotta throw that away, man, You're gonna get sick. And he looked at me and he used to say this a lot, actually, but he looked at me and said, you Americans are afraid of everything. And I just think about that all the time because that's the way I feel about Europeans, and I guess that's that's kind of the way they feel about us. I don't know. Chef Jean Francois, he was the man. We had a lot of fun man, and he and I, he and I planning specials. Yeah, it's a good time. All of that from your little comment Jr. And all of that to say, like, don't miss out on cooking, man. I run into a lot of women and a lot of dudes, more women than dudes. It feels like nowadays that are like I don't cook, you know what I mean, And I know where it comes from, Like it comes from this. First of all, it comes from like I'm not good at it and I don't want to suck at it, so I'm not going to do it. And then it comes from the learning gap is so big that I don't want to, you know, I undertake it, you know, because it is. And people don't know how to learn how to cook. That's the problem. The problem is people have no idea where to begin, right, They're like, oh, I want to learn how to cook a chicken dish, right, Oh, you don't know how, and you don't know how. You don't know knife skills, you don't know cooking techniques. You don't know how to tell with your finger if a chicken breast is done. You don't know how long to cook a chicken breast on both sides. And guess what, nobody knows how long to cook a chicken breast on both sides where it's done. You know why, because you can buy a fancy hippie organic chicken breast that's about this size, or you can go to like a Kroger buy a cheap chicken breast that's two times. That's size that there's no way that those two things are gonna cook. You know, it's not like four minutes on each side, you're done, you know what I mean? Anytime you read a recipe and it says X minutes on each side, like, don't it don't you. Know what you need? I'll tell you what you need. I got rid of my over the top prideful chefness and gotta meet thermometer. It's gonna meet thermometer. Stop stop with all the poking of the steaks. And you know what I mean. I get chefs and people who cook steaks always tell you like, oh my god, if you poke it, it's so dumb. If you poke it, all the juices will run out of be dry and terrible. Just think about that from it. There's no way that that is true. But you know what will happen if you don't know what you're doing and you undercook it or you overcook it, then it definitely will be terrible. So the way I look it is better to just stick it with a thermometer, particularly if you're new to cooking. Stick it with a thermometer. One hundred and sixty five degrees. Oh cool, chickens. Done. I mean you could probably pull it off at one sixty, to be honest, Let it rest. It'll get up there. Done, no second guessing. No, because from the moment you buy a meat thermometer and learn the temperatures, print it out, put it on your kitchen frame the cooking temperatures. Put them in your kitchen. That takes such a big piece of the puzzle out of everything. Matter of fact, I should do it in my own kitchen because you know, my kids don't know them all, my wife doesn't know them. But it takes a huge weight off everybody's shoulder. Is it done, that's the question. Is it done? Is it medium? Is it medium? Rare? Like you don't have to guess. We used to do this thing in the restaurant industry, like make a tight fist, it's well done, make it. Loosen it up a little bit. It's medium, Well, make it you know, barely a fist at all. It's rare. We used to do that. Number. Don't do that. Just get a thermometer, stick it in the meat at the thickest part about midway. Get the temperature. Is it done, Yes, it's done. No, it's not done. He's a cook more. You know what I mean, silly, we should join efforts to do a prepper cookbook. A prepper cookbook will most certainly happen. The SHTF chef cookbook will happen. There's no doubt about it, right, I tell you, my kid learned how to cook eggs properly. Finally. Amazing. That's so weird, Firewolf, because both of my kids are cooking eggs now too. That is that is interesting? Hm, wow, that is interesting. My kids started cooking eggs, so, you know, naturally I showed them all the tips and tricks for scrambled and you know, the whole thing. But chance, it's a great food. It's a great food to start kids on too, you know it really is. That's a good one. And it's a great food for if your kids are like they come home from school when you're not there, or maybe they are late night kids, whatever the situation is, they can prepare a food that is just it is me. I mean, like if you. Like me, Like, if you're like James, I think has got his good head on his shoulders. He's in good shape. Like I'm just an egg dude, I'm like literally like half an egg I'm like fifty percent egg I eat close to half my calories a day, probably an eggs. The other thing, you know, here's the other thing too. By the way, I know a lot of people suffer from digestive problems like one way or the other. It feels like it feels like everybody that I know, they tell all my life, people have told me like when you get the blank age, you're gonna have blank problem. Don't have any problems, but a lot of people suffer these dietary stomach upset situations. Do you know what I mean? Like they do like they can't go, or they go too much, or it hurts when they get whatever. You know what I don't. I do think my diet has a lot to do with it, you know what I mean. I do think the fact that I eat a lot of eggs has a lot to do with the fact that the porcelain throne is still a great time. You know what I mean. It's a great time to catch up on comic book reading because you eat easy to digest foods. Man, it's. Duh, you know what I mean? If you're eating steak three times a day, like this is stuff that doesn't break down very easy. If you're eating like lots and lots of meat, doesn't break down very easily, doesn't break down right unless you're really chewing the hell out of it and helping your body out. Of course, if you're eating like you know, trans fat, super processed carbs and stuff like that all the time too, then that's gonna be a whole nother run of issues. Right. You fill your body up with like hydrogenated soybean wax oil resin, then I have a feeling you're gonna have issues. Right. Primarily, my diet is like it really is, primarily whole foods, but lots of eggs, and the carbs that I eat are basically bread, pasta, and rice for the most part, do you know what I mean? The other thing I avoid, like the plague most of the time, sugar, I really do. I make it a point to avoid sugar every day for as long as possible, like stave it off as long as you can. Just fight sugar. As long as you can fight it. You're gonna give in, right, but fight sugar man like, as long as you can see it's not the chewing firewell, forge firewooll Forge says, chewing what's that it's not necessarily the chewing, because I do eat a lot of vegetables, you know what I mean. Like I love we eat raw broccoli in our house as a side, you know what I mean. Like the kids don't like it, I'll cook it. They don't like it, even if I just steam it, boil it, whatever, They're like, just give it raw. So we eat a lot of raw stuff. We you know, raw kale. We uh. But I like to sauteate up vegetables too, particularly in pasta. Great, you know what I mean, prima Veda really good. What else, folks, What the hell else are we doing? What are we doing today? We're having a good time. We're having a good time. The problem is all this talk of food has made me hungry. So I think, uh, we're gonna call it a day.
