[00:00:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Blending Survival, Fiction and Fact to bring you entertaining education that will help you dream, survive and thrive.
[00:00:27] [SPEAKER_02]: And now here's your host, Sarah F. Halfway and Chen Gibson.
[00:00:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Chapter 58.
[00:00:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Co-weighted for evening fall before seeking out Sergeant Bennett.
[00:00:40] [SPEAKER_04]: The refugee curfew had common gone, but the streets were filled with activity.
[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_04]: The landowners attended shows and dance long into the night.
[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Co-slunk through the streets trying to stay in Cagnito.
[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_04]: He knew Bennett would be at the training warehouse still.
[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Waiting in the dark by the corner of the building, he listened to a young man trying to seduce a young landowner woman.
[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_04]: The young lady won the argument and the man agreed to take her home.
[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Co-host attention was drawn to the sound of the warehouse door opening and Bennett walked out alone.
[00:01:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Silently sneaking up behind him, Cole whispered,
[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_04]: But it whipped around ready to fight but recognize Cole's face in the faint light.
[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Damn, Virges! You can't sneak up in the dark like that.
[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_04]: You're going to get yourself shot.
[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Cole told him quietly,
[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm leaving in the morning and we have to talk.
[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's go get a drink Bennett suggested.
[00:01:36] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know that we should be seen together, Cole informed him.
[00:01:39] [SPEAKER_04]: What do we need to talk about Bennett asked curiously?
[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Erica, what about her?
[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_04]: The Marks gave me permission to use my resources to get her out of here, Cole informed him.
[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Not understanding the complication Bennett said,
[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Then take her legally she's a refugee.
[00:01:56] [SPEAKER_04]: She's not Cole enlightened him.
[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Bennett chuckled at his comment.
[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Are we talking about the same Erica?
[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_04]: The lone survivor, Cole clarified?
[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Bennett looked unsure.
[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_04]: But how do you know?
[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_04]: General McClentock crossed reference the federal databases.
[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_04]: She's not hard to track.
[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_04]: She's been here for nine years. Why didn't anyone?
[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Her children Bennett stumbled over as words looking at Cole with wide eyes.
[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Land owner children.
[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Do you know what a mistake like that would do to a FEMA directors career?
[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_04]: The board would strip his authority and throw him in with the refugees.
[00:02:36] [SPEAKER_04]: And how would a FEMA director avoid that, Cole asked?
[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_04]: With a confident voice Bennett explained,
[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_04]: He would give Daniel permission to go out on a mission and then send them on a solo mission
[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Where they could be disposed of quietly.
[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Cole chuckled nervously at Bennett's comment.
[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_04]: That's pretty specific, but he'd probably do something like that.
[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_04]: He just did that a couple of days ago.
[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_04]: I took the uniformed of Daniel as his birthday present.
[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Understanding that they were already out of time, Cole noted,
[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_04]: then the wheels are already in motion. She can't go out on that mission.
[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_04]: The resistance needs her, especially without William.
[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_04]: She can lead the people to freedom.
[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Bennett looked concerned.
[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_04]: That's a tall order for one little lady.
[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_04]: She can do it. You know she can.
[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, she can do it.
[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_04]: But it will be a hard road ahead.
[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_04]: I love that woman like a sister.
[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a lot to ask Bennett admitted.
[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_04]: The alternative is civil war, Cole told him flatly.
[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Honestly, Mark Command is already discussing it.
[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Damn Bennett commented, looking at the ground.
[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_04]: He kicked some sand around with the toe of his boot.
[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to get Cassidy out simultaneously, Cole informed him.
[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_04]: And why are you telling me all this Bennett wondered?
[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_04]: You've trained Erica. You know she is the one we need to peacefully restore this country.
[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Somehow we need them in the same place.
[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_04]: We'll only get one shot at this.
[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Will you help us, Cole requested?
[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Bennett needed little time to think.
[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm not willing to help use her as a pawn,
[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_04]: but I am willing to get her family out of here so Matthew doesn't kill them.
[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_04]: That's all I'm asking Cole responded.
[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, I would ask one more thing,
[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_04]: but I bet you'd say no.
[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_04]: What's that Bennett wondered?
[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Come with us, Patrick. Join the Merch's call offered.
[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Bennett shook his head negatively.
[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_04]: I can't Cole, someone has to be here to help stop the corrupt slave trade and keep tabs on the feds.
[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_04]: The invitation stands if you change your mind.
[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_04]: I've got to get back.
[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Staff Sergeant Bingham will know the plans.
[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Coordinate your move with him.
[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_04]: We'll do Bennett responded as he walked away,
[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_04]: lost and thought.
[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Cole left in the twilight of the night headed for Reno.
[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_04]: They arrived home early in the morning and Johnny was waiting when he got there.
[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_04]: How did it go, Major? Johnny wondered.
[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Hands down one of the worst things I've ever had to do, Cole admitted sadly.
[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_04]: And Monroe messed Chappy up pretty good.
[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_04]: I would have two Johnny agreed, Cole laughed.
[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't say I blamed him.
[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Did you get to see Cassidy, Johnny wondered?
[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_04]: No, it would have been two obvious, Cole admitted sadly.
[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Bingham and Bennett are on the same page and coordinating with Chappy.
[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Chappy's trying to get word to King and right now.
[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_04]: They came in with you from Peach Springs, right?
[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_04]: How come they weren't adopted out?
[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_04]: There's only so many landowners.
[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Not all the refugees can get adopted out.
[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_04]: I guess that makes sense, Chappy admitted.
[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Does it, Cole asks?
[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Because none of it should.
[00:05:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Chappy laughed at his joke.
[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to get some sleep and there was a long night, Cole told him.
[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_04]: But Johnny, yes sir, Johnny responded, making eye contact with him.
[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Make sure you and Jess up stay ready to leave Cole informed him.
[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_04]: We'll do search Johnny said before exiting through the door.
[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_00]: On the break of blackouts again, as PowerDemand reached an all-time record high overnight,
[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_00]: slivers of the Golden State plunged into darkness.
[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_09]: Some says it expects to continue with stage six running blackouts for the risk of a
[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_09]: scheduled outage on Thursday but the one that happened Sunday,
[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_09]: it wasn't scheduled it was unexpected and it lasted longer than a day.
[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Point zero energy has given me.
[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_01]: The American tested American assembled.

[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_01]: So what does all that mean to you?
[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_01]: It means the Titan can charge your smartphone for 88 hours.

[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_06]: You're listening to me, to pay the end.
[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Your path back to stability.
[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Hello and welcome back to the changing Earth podcast.
[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_04]: This is episode number 464 season 15 episode 58.
[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_04]: I teach him what's up.
[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Shins in the house.
[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Wait a minute.
[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Wait, talk again because it might be my end of the technology now.
[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's go for a...
[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you did it.
[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, well, if I want to second, I'm going back to my...
[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we'll be clipping this out of the record.
[00:08:20] Yes.
[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know how this thing gets changed.
[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_04]: But that...
[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_04]: All right, now.
[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, let's go out.
[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_04]: What's going on live to the PBM crowd?
[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm blaming it.
[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_08]: He's in the green room.
[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, there we go.
[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_08]: There are push and buttons on us.
[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Now the crowd can hear you.
[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_04]: And we also have Ellen in the house.
[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_04]: And I hate Ellen what's going on.
[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Hey, good day.
[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that way.
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Literally.
[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Literally.
[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_04]: In the house.
[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Yep.
[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Rod next to Sarah.
[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Yep.
[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_04]: We got the double mics going all the...
[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, you know, we had to upgrade for family feud.
[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_04]: We had a lot of us in here, so the changing our studio received a little update.
[00:09:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_04]: If you guys are out in the live room, please let me know if the sound sounds good.
[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_04]: I think I have everything working proper now.
[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Should be good to go.
[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Alrighty.
[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_04]: So news on the docket.
[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_04]: The big news.
[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Why Ellen is in the town this time of year?
[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_04]: It is proper camp, 20, 24.
[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_04]: We are on the doorstep.
[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Tickets are sold out.
[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Camp sites sold out.
[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Every Airbnb within 100 miles probably sold out.
[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_04]: So if you're just getting arrangements for where you're going to stay, it's probably going to be in your vehicle in the park in your area.
[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_04]: So, but we got to see the schedule.
[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_04]: It looks phenomenal.
[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Chen is having technical problems tonight, so he's not DJing the chat room.
[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_04]: I also feel like...
[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_08]: I think it would be a pretty nice witness with the links.
[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, be like, hey, Chen, throw that up so they can see the schedule.
[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_04]: But the schedule is out.
[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_04]: You just go to a proper camp.
[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Check out all the cool classes and start print.
[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Now, your schedule.
[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_04]: So you know exactly what you want to go to.
[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Alrighty.
[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Other happenings.
[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_04]: The audio drama episode eight is going live this week.
[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_04]: So that's the next chunk of audio drama episodes five to eight.
[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_04]: So I have to see where it ends up.
[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_04]: The members already know where it is going to end up.
[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_04]: So I think we've had that for a week.
[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_04]: So if you want to become a member, just head on over to changingherseries.com.
[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Become a member.
[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Really appreciate you helping the changing earth world go around everybody.
[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Alrighty.
[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_04]: So, uh, Virges, we're almost to the end.
[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_04]: And given that proper camp happens not next weekend, but the week and after we won't have a show.
[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_04]: So my suggestion at the beginning in the green room there was that we just do two chapters next week.
[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_04]: So we can finish off Virges before we head out for a proper camp.
[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_04]: And I think that's the solid idea.
[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I think we'll just do that.
[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_08]: It's your idea.
[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you know, I'm yeah.
[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_08]: I love with the best ideas.
[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_04]: I just pat myself on the back a little bit.
[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_04]: That was great.
[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_04]: That was great idea.
[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_04]: So usually my last chapters of my books are like a couple paragraphs anyway.
[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_04]: So, um,
[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_04]: We'll just do it that way.
[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, we were on a new material when we get back and what we're going to do.
[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, my thought is that we go through season three of the audio drama.
[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm picking out a bunch of cool survival information from it.
[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_04]: And we'll just do shows on based off that info because there's a lot of really great nuggets through in there.
[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I should have like a little, you know how they do those shows that are like,
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_04]: You watch it and tells you all about the shooting of like what happened during the film.
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, right?
[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_05]: So I want to have like a little, oh, survival tip, definitely.
[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_05]: You know?
[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, yeah, there's little pop ups.
[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, you're watching a movie and there's a little pop ups.
[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know how to do that in an audio drama.
[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I've got to figure that out without getting kind of annoying.
[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_04]: But last week, Virgis met with Alex the set up the plan.
[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_04]: This week he met with Bennett.
[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_04]: And then he returns home to Reno hoping that everything's just going to go smoothly.
[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_04]: And they're going to be able to break Erica and Cassidy out of the camp and one fall swoop.
[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_04]: So we'll have to see how that goes for our next week.
[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_04]: But today, given that way of Ellen in the house, I wanted to do a little conversation on the future of surveillance technology.
[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Now, guys, I am a woodlands girl.
[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I enjoy hunting and fishing and shooting and technology is more chin realm.
[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_04]: That's nice.
[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Right?
[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Another tech guy.
[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Then it is mine.
[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_04]: So we're going to walk through this and just talk about a lot of the concepts that I have to go with the technology.
[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_04]: And obviously they weren't using any of the surveillance technology on our former president today.
[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_04]: President today.
[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, it would grow.
[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I want to take a minute and just say a prayer for Mr. Donald Trump that he keeps being blessed by the Lord and can do good things for our country.
[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_04]: So let's just say that little prayer for him.
[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Alrighty.
[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_04]: So surveillance technology.
[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Current state of affairs Ellen, why don't you tell us a little bit about how it was to travel in today's surveillance heavy world now?
[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, sure.
[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_03]: It was definitely a journey.
[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_03]: So I let departed from Canberra Airport, which is one of our regional airports where I will close away with it live.
[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm just a bit of a 50 minute flight from there to Sydney.
[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And then I've gone through all security and everything like that, they can be airport and then I have to do it again in Sydney.
[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_03]: So I get out of the domestic airport and stay within the secure area.
[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Get the bus over the international airport and go through security again.
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Then they go through and look at my passport or that sort of stuff.
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_03]: And then for the US, you have to actually say those security guards, not customs.
[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Security guards are coming around and actually ask what your purpose in America, why are you going all this other stuff?
[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like you.
[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm a prep camp.
[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Now, you're gonna...
[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna...
[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna let this stuff up.
[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, wow.
[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_03]: The visit my sister's to be there for almost so weeks.
[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, no worries. You know where you are.
[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm mind you, I've already filled this all out in the visa application.
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_03]: So the online stuff, we don't have to go to the full visa.
[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_03]: We just have a range of between government.
[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_03]: So it's like an online form.
[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Cost me a $14 US or whatever it is.
[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_03]: So that's all of that is in the S.O.R.E.
[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_04]: It's already pre-done before you even get to an airport.
[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_03]: It's gotta be done in paid for before you get to the airport.
[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_03]: So did all that anyway?
[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Had to go through security again at a senior airport then get my passport goes in.
[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_03]: You put it in the radar, you know, in an all-scanet.
[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Then you can find a stamp anymore.
[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Don't get stands out.
[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_04]: You know how it was like cool.
[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Like I traveled to these places.
[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_04]: No, you don't get the stamps anymore.
[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, goes in a radar.
[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Of course, they're all come with a smart card in them now.
[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_03]: In the passwords.
[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_03]: And then I read that and then you did get a photo taken.
[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_03]: So no glasses, no hat, no nothing.
[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Just your photo is taken.
[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Then you can cross over into the departure area.
[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_08]: So to do twilight zone.
[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_03]: And then you're in the secure area.
[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_03]: But I was in the already in the secure area.
[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_05]: So stayed in the secure area.
[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_05]: That would be good again.
[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_05]: Do it again.
[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_03]: So that is all that.
[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Answer all those questions.
[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Then arrive in Dallas.
[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_03]: And then get there.
[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_03]: And then luckily, their robahall wasn't as busy as it was last time.
[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_03]: So I got pretty through pretty quickly.
[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and same again, scan passports.
[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Take photos.
[00:16:48] [SPEAKER_03]: They already had my fingerprints from last time.
[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_03]: So they don't have to do that again.
[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_03]: But ask the same questions.
[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Fingerprint event.
[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they took a freeing print last time.
[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Do you put your hand over on the arms scanner?
[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_03]: And then you can go through.
[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_03]: And then I had to go through there.
[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Out into the ether, go around.
[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_03]: So still within the secure zone.
[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_03]: But goes through security again.
[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_03]: So three times.
[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
[00:17:15] [SPEAKER_03]: And yet sniffed by the sniffed dogs and all that stuff.
[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_04]: This is just for a visit.
[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Like if you were coming to live here illegally,
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure it would have been much easier.
[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah.
[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_03]: 100% just wait for the water that eagle pass and get either.
[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Right?
[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, right.
[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, that's where we are now.
[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_04]: I know that like my martial arts instructor went to Taiwan when he came through China.
[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_04]: When he walked up to the desk they already knew who he was.
[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Hello, you know his last name.
[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Come on up.
[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_08]: How about that?
[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Because they're just facial recognition, right?
[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Now, I did see this really trippy mask last night that like,
[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_04]: like a thousand dollar mask.
[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_04]: And you, it was crazy.
[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_04]: You put it on and you just look like somebody completely different.
[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_04]: So like humans always.
[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_08]: Mission impossible.
[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Right?
[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_04]: But that one was a thousand dollars.
[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_04]: People have a lot more money than that.
[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Just spend government.
[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Have a lot more money than that.
[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Just spend.
[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that wasn't just insane to me to see that.
[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_04]: So but what I my thought was when I saw this was you see people
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_04]: will always find a way.
[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Right?
[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_04]: But technology will get better.
[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_04]: But it's always people just always keep thinking around this stuff.
[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_08]: So I wonder, Ellen, is that only coming into the United States?
[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_08]: Or do you know if that's the same process for any international flight?
[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I can't remember what it was like last time.
[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Like have you ever flown into a different country before you came to the US?
[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, you know that's what I meant.
[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_03]: No, I haven't done it and I don't know what the, what that process was.
[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_04]: And you're always out on ship when you got our going to the country.
[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_03]: So they did ask, they did ask if I was transiting through the US?
[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_03]: If I was going to transit and but that wasn't I didn't answer.
[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, so I didn't.
[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_04]: That's one of the things that I've heard about the Legels is that they're they're saying like it's like a short term stay,
[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_04]: but then they end up just staying.
[00:19:22] [SPEAKER_08]: You should you should have downloaded that app.
[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_04]: You could have got like the EBD card or whatever, right?
[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_04]: You could have had endless money.
[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_03]: I have commitments in Australia.
[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_03]: You could have laughed at us.
[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Me dude, I want to take it.
[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm like, uh, giving you a helpful chip.
[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, okay.
[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_04]: We're not leaving now in a stray.
[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll just applaud for a new job.
[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_03]: So I'm getting out of the military and going,
[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_03]: work as a as a screw in a Tasmania.
[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_03]: So hopefully I get that.
[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_04]: You got our fingers crossed.
[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_04]: So for better or worse, this technology.
[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_04]: So we go, I always fall back to Ben Franklin.
[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_04]: I can't help it every single time.
[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_04]: It's like when you give up your liberty for security.
[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_04]: That's when you don't get either.
[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Yep.
[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_04]: You don't have freedom.
[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_04]: You don't have liberty.
[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_04]: You have nothing left.
[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_04]: And I understand like, yeah, it's risky.
[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_04]: It's risky to be free.
[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_04]: It's dangerous.
[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_04]: You have to actually have faith in other human beings
[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_04]: and allow them to make their own choices
[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_04]: and guess what?
[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_04]: They might make the wrong ones and have to pay consequences for that.
[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_04]: But that's what it's all about.
[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_04]: You're going to hear offensive things.
[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_04]: You're going to hear things that you don't agree with.
[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Move on, scroll on.
[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Move on.
[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Right?
[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_04]: You're going to wake up in the morning with leprosy
[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_04]: because you got exposed to a different idea
[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_04]: than what you agree with.
[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_04]: So of course I'm going to fall that way.
[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_04]: I do understand like, for example, the rain cameras.
[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I would never put one on my door
[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_04]: because I don't want there to be a network of surveillance technology.
[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_04]: I think that it's really scary.
[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, but the next step you drive or walk up
[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_08]: down your community, look at how many of those there are.
[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Have them already?
[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Where they can make this network of like,
[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_08]: yeah, it's there.
[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, how to track people, how to track vehicles.
[00:21:38] [SPEAKER_04]: They can just access these cameras along your way.
[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_04]: They give insurance discounts for them.
[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_08]: So they're incentivized.
[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_08]: I had one, well I had one in the front,
[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_08]: one in the back when I lived in Charleston.
[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_08]: There was some break-ins and the cops actually came to everybody's door
[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_08]: and asked if we were there.
[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_08]: For their cameras?
[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_08]: They said could you check their knees
[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_08]: times on these days and then the camera would let you send video.
[00:22:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Like I could send them a clip of what it was.
[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I could email.
[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Right, what I like to talk about.
[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_08]: What I moved into the mountains, I'm like,
[00:22:17] [SPEAKER_08]: that ain't coming with me.
[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_04]: No, and I do understand
[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_04]: like the reasoning behind, you know,
[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_04]: say you're 80 years old.
[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_04]: And you really need to know who's at that door
[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_04]: before you open it.
[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, there's all kinds of,
[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_04]: I can understand.
[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_08]: It's like there's so much good right?
[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_08]: All this technology.
[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_08]: There's so much good to be done with it.
[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_08]: It till some goofball
[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_08]: decides to corrupt it and do bad things.
[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_08]: You know what I mean?
[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.
[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_08]: It's like that, like,
[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_08]: smart home stuff where you walk in
[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_08]: and the lights come on at a temperature
[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_08]: just the way you want it
[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_08]: and the sheets go up or down.
[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_08]: That's like awesome, right?
[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_08]: It till they start watching your patterns
[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_08]: and, you know, they're like,
[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_08]: well, you're supposed to be at work and you're
[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_08]: coming home with this, or, you know,
[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_04]: right?
[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_04]: The shut downs in the cars.
[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_04]: They want every car to have a kill switch.
[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's great.
[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_04]: If somebody's like drinking or driving,
[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_04]: I totally understand like the excuse behind that.
[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_04]: But what's the stop them from saying,
[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_04]: well, you're not allowed to travel outside of your
[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_04]: travel zone.
[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Boom, your car doesn't work.
[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, shut down your whole house.
[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Night pal.
[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_03]: You've already used too much this.
[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, they start and
[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_03]: put smart metres in the houses in Australia
[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_03]: where they can turn around and turn the power off
[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_03]: when the grid's on the pressure.
[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_03]: So, that's scary.
[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_03]: What if someone's on a C-pop machine
[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_03]: or a Bentley?
[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_03]: I've got, we, my husband does fish.
[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_03]: She keeps a growing fish.
[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, get the power turned off of
[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_03]: we've lost thousands of dollars worth of fish.
[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Then you got to invest in the Jenny
[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_04]: and all that stuff.
[00:24:08] [SPEAKER_03]: We already got it.
[00:24:09] [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, yeah.
[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not going to generate,
[00:24:11] [SPEAKER_03]: it's not going to pay what we have.
[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, and for long term,
[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_08]: and then, you know, is it natural gas or something
[00:24:19] [SPEAKER_08]: and then they can control that or, you know.
[00:24:22] [SPEAKER_04]: And the more that generations are used to already
[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_04]: being surveilled, those, well, that's normal.
[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, let's just know what normal happens.
[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, I would hear in Texas they're not allowed to use
[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_04]: the street cameras, you know,
[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_04]: to like take your picture if you run a red light.
[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.
[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_04]: They don't allow that out here.
[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, I love that because you know,
[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_04]: they're not like constantly.
[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_04]: It's still a free place to live, you know.
[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, so of course there'll be some people
[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_04]: that decide to blow the red light
[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_04]: and, you know, take that risk and everything.
[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_04]: But what kind of, you know,
[00:24:58] [SPEAKER_04]: when you put those street lights on
[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_04]: and now everybody's under the gun
[00:25:01] [SPEAKER_04]: and you're reenwatched all the time,
[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_04]: what does that do even to the human psyche?
[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_03]: I can tell you it was well.
[00:25:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Um, when you do self-check out at
[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_03]: supermarket, you get video.
[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Um, when you go through door for is like,
[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_03]: McDonald's, their video taping you.
[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Like there's a camera right on you when you go up to the screen.
[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_03]: That's just where we're going to end.
[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, the ATM's of course been that way for a long time
[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_04]: because for your protection,
[00:25:26] [SPEAKER_04]: which so everything like you say,
[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Chad and you write,
[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_04]: oh, we're going to keep you safe.
[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_08]: And first, but then what they do with all that data.
[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_08]: We're going to go.
[00:25:38] Mm-hmm.
[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_04]: And the other one that I really,
[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Kwon to when I heard this was,
[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_04]: um, the tech companies,
[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_04]: they have a fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders.
[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_04]: So if they're developing the surveillance technology,
[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_04]: they have a responsibility to sell their product
[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_04]: so they can make their shareholders money.
[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_08]: And what is their product?
[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a restraint of your freedom as their product.
[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_04]: And so they have the responsibility to sell this
[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_04]: so they have to make it attractive to Americans in general.
[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, and then there was a conversation about how far China is
[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_04]: and there's surveillance technology
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_04]: and how if we're going to keep up with their,
[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_04]: with technology to technology,
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_04]: we have to start deploying the stuff in the United States.
[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_03]: We've got mobile phone protectors now.
[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Red light cameras, speeding cameras.
[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_03]: We've also got just community cameras in light hot, hot zones,
[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_03]: like places where you're going to say.
[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Half the other side walks that can happen.
[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_03]: And then we haven't even talked about the cash yet.
[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_03]: So yeah.
[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_03]: So, um,
[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_03]: I have to, you know,
[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_03]: for my job, I have to go through
[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_03]: the big roles of having a security clearance and all that sort of stuff.
[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_03]: If I go out and get cash continually from one place
[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_03]: and it happens to be within an ATM,
[00:27:06] [SPEAKER_03]: within a bar,
[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_03]: that's the closest one to where I live.
[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_03]: That will see that and say,
[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_03]: you know, you're spending your money on gambling
[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_03]: because we can't,
[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_03]: you can't prove where you've used up use that money
[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_03]: because you've taken cash out instead of using your card.
[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_03]: And now it's actually making it very,
[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_03]: very hard to use cash in a store
[00:27:24] [SPEAKER_03]: because one of the supermarkets don't hardly hold it anymore.
[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_03]: There is very, very little.
[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_03]: They're taking away the ATM's,
[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_03]: or the slowly downgrading,
[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_03]: the bank physical bank locations are closing
[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_03]: and for basically forcing us to use our cards.
[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's,
[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_03]: it's scary.
[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_03]: There's a big pushback at the moment for it.
[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_03]: The people are saying cash, cash out day,
[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_03]: pay for cash only.
[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Lots of businesses are now going card only in Cedric Ash.
[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_08]: It was so cool to have a credit card.
[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_08]: It was so easy,
[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_08]: you didn't have to worry about,
[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_08]: oh, I was going to go out and if you're cost 20 bucks,
[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_08]: I better have 25 bucks in my pocket to make it.
[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_08]: You don't have to cut it.
[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_08]: You can just put whatever you can just run the card.
[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_08]: We're good, you know, whatever.
[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_08]: And they just suckered you into it.
[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_08]: They made it simple.
[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_08]: They made it easy.
[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, additionally to that.
[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_03]: So what they actually got us with
[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_03]: and what we're struggling with is what,
[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_03]: they call afterpaying.
[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_03]: I think they've got a version of it in here,
[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_03]: you know, your OS as well.
[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_03]: So it's basically like,
[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_03]: take home lay by.
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_03]: So you go in all the way, you call it.
[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_03]: So you go in and say what you want to buy
[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_03]: and you've got the app on your phone
[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_03]: and say,
[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_03]: I've got this product, this $500.
[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_03]: You go in, scan that.
[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_03]: You don't pay anything upfront.
[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_03]: You can take the product out.
[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_03]: But it gets taken out of your account.
[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Didn't fortnight later.
[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_03]: So split into four payments.
[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_04]: And they're just automatically do that for you.
[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Crazy.
[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_04]: And there are fee for that, of course.
[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_03]: There is a fee.
[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_03]: They actually charge the retail as for it.
[00:29:01] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not charged.
[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_03]: They don't charge the consumer anything for it.
[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, it's what the real teller is passing it on to you.
[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
[00:29:10] [SPEAKER_08]: It's like here to see it's got support with that credit.
[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_08]: Whoever.
[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_08]: The fees.
[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_08]: The cash are credit.
[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_08]: But now if you pay credit, it's always warm money.
[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_03]: So that's that.
[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, I've got my limit is the $3,000.
[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_04]: So you can go get a $3,000 item.
[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Just take it home and they're just going to bust it
[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_04]: and before pay events for you and you have to start paying.
[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Which is just like credit card though.
[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_03]: It is.
[00:29:35] [SPEAKER_03]: But it's easy on a lot easier to use.
[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_03]: And basically at day on now,
[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_03]: because I realize that it's forcing a lot of people
[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_03]: to get a financial stress.
[00:29:44] [SPEAKER_03]: But they are now doing a credit check before you apply for these things.
[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_03]: But we did our work.
[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_04]: They weren't even doing a credit check before you go.
[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_04]: I was like, yeah, yeah.
[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_04]: So I had to try that out.
[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm not much as your own responsibility.
[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, I should know whether I can afford.
[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_05]: Fair.
[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_08]: To buy something.
[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_08]: I shouldn't be.
[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, what do you mean?
[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_08]: I couldn't just have that $3,000 item.
[00:30:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Right?
[00:30:09] [SPEAKER_08]: I said I could leave with it.
[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_04]: You need to have the responsibility to not take the $3,000 item.
[00:30:15] [SPEAKER_04]: No, that you can afford the $3,000 item.
[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Yep.
[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_03]: No, I think so.
[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_03]: They're just going to, and it's called us out a few times.
[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_03]: It really has.
[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_03]: And initially, you could only use it for what they say.
[00:30:29] [SPEAKER_03]: You could use it for.
[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_03]: So buying a computer where going to camping stores all that sort of stuff.
[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Now, a version of that system if you behave yourself and don't get any late payments.
[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay.
[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Get it.
[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_03]: And use it basically like a debit card.
[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Pay full groceries, pay for everything.
[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Everything.
[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Crazy.
[00:30:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, I knew that Australia was doing the push to the central bank money before we were,
[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_04]: but that is, like I say, I've always said that is the, that's end game.
[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_04]: That's full on.
[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_04]: They control.
[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_04]: They know they monitor whatever you're spending.
[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be.
[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be known.
[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, more cash.
[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_04]: And that's where they want to go.
[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_04]: I've because Americaners are blocking cash so much.
[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I've seen a new version where they actually put the chip in the dollar in the bill.
[00:31:24] [SPEAKER_04]: So you can still have your cash.
[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_04]: But now there's chips in your money and they can turn it off.
[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, it's not worth the dollar anyway.
[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Right?
[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_08]: Get back to it.
[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_04]: I saw that.
[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_04]: The latest.
[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, okay.
[00:31:41] [SPEAKER_04]: This is just, they're just going to find a way.
[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_04]: So that's the thing.
[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Like Americans are like, no, no, no, no, we don't want that.
[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_04]: We like our life.
[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_04]: We like being free.
[00:31:49] [SPEAKER_04]: They're like, well, what if we just package it this way for you?
[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_04]: What do you like that better?
[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, oh, did you see that you're under threat now?
[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Right?
[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you probably just need that thing.
[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_04]: That would be better, right?
[00:32:02] [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be safer.
[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_04]: You want to keep your kids safe.
[00:32:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that's really important.
[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_04]: So, and of course, that's important to all of us.
[00:32:13] [SPEAKER_04]: We all live on it.
[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_04]: We want to live a nice place for our kids.
[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_04]: And they just use it as a way to tax the heck out of everybody and, you know, blow through
[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_04]: communist agendas.
[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_03]: So, just on that, I just, oh, I've had this conversation myself already, but so, massive
[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_03]: big, great input in the strife have a new bullsever.
[00:32:37] [SPEAKER_03]: That sort of stuff.
[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_03]: They actually, the Shrine Government of the United States,
[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_03]: actually passed it.
[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_03]: That there will be no petrol, news sales of petrol cars by 2030.
[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_03]: It's all all be electric.
[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_03]: And they're ripping down, you know, putting ripping down trees, putting wind turbines on
[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_03]: ridges, taking down on the trees and stuff like that.
[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_03]: But if you want to put, test something down and put a house up, no, you can't do that.
[00:33:07] [SPEAKER_04]: You got to protect the tree.
[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_03]: You got to protect tree, but they're happy to, you know, acres and all mountains.
[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_03]: And all mountains right there, leveling up all mountains.
[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Or winter.
[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Just put up wind to land.
[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_04]: All the land.
[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_03]: All the land we've lost to solar panels.
[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_03]: The farming land that we've lost to solar panels.
[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_04]: And so, and they're no longer making any vehicles in Australia anymore.
[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_04]: They're importing everything.
[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_03]: The last one closed.
[00:33:32] [SPEAKER_03]: I want to say five years ago.
[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_03]: So, GM, holden for us.
[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_03]: GM, close the last factory.
[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_04]: It's crazy.
[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_04]: It's like a floating California out there.
[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_03]: And then he's a crazy bit.
[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_03]: So we have one reformary lift in Australia.
[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_04]: For oil.
[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_03]: For oil.
[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_04]: So is that what's going to, like, collapse of the whole world?
[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Is our world interdependence instead of being self-reliant upon us?
[00:34:02] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, is that why the preparedness community kind of gets so attacked?
[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Because, oh, you're speaking about self-reliance.
[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_04]: We don't want self-reliance anymore.
[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_04]: We want global reliance.
[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_03]: And I can tell you, like being from an online nation.
[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_03]: It's like doesn't take very much at all to shut off the ship lines.
[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And we will be basically useless until weeks.
[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Sorry.
[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_08]: But an alienation.
[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_08]: But it's not like it's Cuba.
[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_08]: Right.
[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_08]: Not or Indonesia.
[00:34:30] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_08]: We're going to be a little bit more of the size of one of our states.
[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_04]: It's like the size of our, if you put Australia on top of the United States,
[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_04]: what do we talk about?
[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I think you know, in a such a little bit, if you include Alaska.
[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_04]: If we don't include Alaska, we're just talking cat and Nettle.
[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_03]: You put it on until it's a pond.
[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_04]: But America's a little bit bigger, right?
[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_04]: But not much.
[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_04]: I bet that.
[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_08]: It's for about what are your natural resources.
[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_08]: Right.
[00:35:00] [SPEAKER_04]: And the center of it.
[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_03]: So the opposition government has said that and what if they, if they win the next
[00:35:08] [SPEAKER_03]: election, they also, they said they're going to put nuclear power in.
[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_03]: So however, they've made it very, very, very, the current government has made it very,
[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_03]: very hard for the new government, which they will win the new government to do that
[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_03]: because they've stopped the development of a mine in the Northern Territory to get your
[00:35:28] [SPEAKER_03]: opinion.
[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Sorry.
[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a law.
[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_03]: There's countless, moves and cannabis.
[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_04]: It sounds the same.
[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_04]: All across the globe.
[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, this is a very global agenda.
[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_04]: And that's obvious at this point.
[00:35:42] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I wish like more people are talking about the options.
[00:35:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Like literally, you know, I've never been like, I'm behind Trump.
[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_04]: I hope he wins this election.
[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_04]: But I've always been kind of standoffish just because I only talked about things that
[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm educated about.
[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't like to get it, you know, there's no sense in having a political debate if you're
[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_04]: an educated and the topic that you're talking about.
[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_04]: But the fact of the matter is if you're voting for a Kamala, you're voting for global
[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_04]: governance.
[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that's what we had with Biden.
[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_04]: That's what we're going to have with Kamala.
[00:36:20] [SPEAKER_04]: These are not strong leaders.
[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_04]: These are not people who are going to, you know, the half, you know,
[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_04]: baked half the time.
[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_04]: And you just, it's just not a, not a strong leader who's going to be able to push
[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_04]: take our country forward into new areas of innovation and exploration that we really need to
[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_04]: be going into.
[00:36:42] [SPEAKER_04]: So that we can make positive changes instead of walking through our old
[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_04]: collective.
[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
[00:36:51] [SPEAKER_03]: And I would be really interesting if, if hopefully Trump gets up, what Putin would do?
[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_04]: They always get along pretty well.
[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.
[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_03]: It will be, it might be actually, yeah.
[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, mutual respect.
[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I'll back off you back off hopefully.
[00:37:07] [SPEAKER_08]: You have to, they have to love each other just so no.
[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_08]: Work things out.
[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_08]: And they have issues they work them out.
[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_04]: We should be able to do that.
[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_04]: We've worked together on, you know, space exploration.
[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_04]: We've worked together multiple things.
[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_04]: This is all it's, you know, my opinion it's for the military industrial complex because they have a
[00:37:29] [SPEAKER_04]: fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders to make money.
[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Trump showed them down basically for four years.
[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_04]: They weren't making anything.
[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_04]: So whenever the global regime got back into the place where they are, then okay,
[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_04]: we're up that old war machine because we have a fiduciary responsibility to our shareholders
[00:37:47] [SPEAKER_04]: to make these companies work and that's their product.
[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_04]: So that's what they're going to sell to you.
[00:37:55] [SPEAKER_04]: It really always comes down to business and money every time.
[00:38:01] [SPEAKER_04]: You just have to follow that trail.
[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_04]: See where I lead to.
[00:38:05] [SPEAKER_04]: I still want one, you can listen.
[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_04]: So how, in my opinion,
[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_04]: the only way they're going to roll this out on the American people is with a big enough perceived threat.
[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so it's got to be civil war.
[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Look at what's happening on your streets guys.
[00:38:25] [SPEAKER_04]: We got to have a military presence.
[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_04]: We got to have the surveillance technology up.
[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_04]: And me, I think that's why the so many immigrants were allowed in to just drive that stress of the population.
[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_08]: It just allowed into, they were dispersed throughout.
[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Dispursed, placed, flown in, troop in.
[00:38:48] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean paid to be here.
[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_04]: So it's an interesting, it's going to be an interesting problem that we have now.
[00:38:57] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to get into any of the details there because there has been some horrific stories already coming out about big problems.
[00:39:03] [SPEAKER_04]: So I hate to like bash on people, you know.
[00:39:10] [SPEAKER_04]: But we did the topic of the refugee camps and we could easily build some kind of city out new Mexico that could have been like the transitory station for these people.
[00:39:23] [SPEAKER_04]: If they were really seeking to like a side one from their country and whatnot.
[00:39:27] [SPEAKER_04]: And it would have given that like a staging area like our island used to be.
[00:39:32] [SPEAKER_04]: And we would have been able to integrate people into our society much easier without this stress and this mass.
[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's the same way they pulled out of Afghanistan.
[00:39:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Just bloop, here it is, that's a mass there. Oh, we made another mass. Oh, don't look at that. We're already over here. What are you doing?
[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_04]: So I don't know.
[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_04]: I think Brock told me 16 or 12 of the last 16 years have been democratic presidents for the most part because Bush, you know, was pretty much in line with them.
[00:40:06] [SPEAKER_04]: And we are expecting something different to happen if we continue down the same road.
[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know. I don't think so.
[00:40:16] [SPEAKER_03]: So it's just going to get the inflation on the control.
[00:40:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Just ridiculous. Well, that was self perpetuated as well.
[00:40:24] [SPEAKER_04]: But because you're going to own nothing by 2030 and be happy about it.
[00:40:28] [SPEAKER_04]: So we got a stress put stress under.
[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Yep. So yeah, giving people these access to these things and then getting putting them under for an internal stress where they have to get assistance.
[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_04]: And I don't want to even get into the policies, the unrealized gains and that kind of taxes is insanity.
[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_08]: But the unrealized losses.
[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. Those don't count those that doesn't count.
[00:40:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that doesn't count.
[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_04]: No, no, no, no, no.
[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_04]: I love that. I love that angle, Chad.
[00:41:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. Oh, I planned to, I think I'm going to lose money on this investment.
[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_04]: So where's my money back for that? Yeah.
[00:41:08] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to realize that on my taxes right now.
[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Look, that was my taxes.
[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_03]: If only.
[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_04]: That's a great point.
[00:41:15] [SPEAKER_08]: It's like my car's value went down.
[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_08]: Did that.
[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_08]: I thought it could be a collector site of it.
[00:41:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. Me too.
[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_04]: My Dodge Caribbean.
[00:41:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:41:24] [SPEAKER_04]: For sure.
[00:41:26] [SPEAKER_05]: That's what I was thinking.
[00:41:28] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:41:29] [SPEAKER_05]: I was going to have it fully restored.
[00:41:32] [SPEAKER_08]: It's a piece of American.
[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_05]: That's right.
[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, no, that's true.
[00:41:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:41:41] [SPEAKER_08]: I wanted to go one way.
[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but not the other.
[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_04]: And G, I wonder why.
[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_04]: And then if we allow that to happen,
[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_04]: they're going to go after the investments next.
[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_04]: So if everybody's like, oh, well,
[00:41:55] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm safe. I'm in the stock market.
[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, gosh, what?
[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_08]: That's just, yeah.
[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_08]: Con people and to put money in there.
[00:42:02] [SPEAKER_08]: So they had money to play with for the money.
[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_04]: More gambling.
[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Another farm gambling.
[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_04]: All right, guys.
[00:42:10] [SPEAKER_04]: So we're getting real with you today.
[00:42:12] [SPEAKER_04]: That was pretty real conversation.
[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_04]: I was just like, if we don't, if we don't,
[00:42:19] [SPEAKER_04]: if you know, everybody's got to wake up a little bit and be like,
[00:42:22] [SPEAKER_04]: no, that's not okay.
[00:42:24] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_04]: That is not okay.
[00:42:26] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't think that we, like,
[00:42:28] [SPEAKER_04]: I can understand from the international travel point of view.
[00:42:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[00:42:31] [SPEAKER_04]: So we're trying to keep terrorists out.
[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_04]: I haven't go through two checkpoints in all the,
[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, before you even get out a little crazy
[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_04]: because you already did it once.
[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_08]: So they did, so they do that to Ellen right?
[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:42:45] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:42:45] [SPEAKER_08]: As far as we know, she's enough standing citizens.
[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_08]: We'll have a community right?
[00:42:52] [SPEAKER_08]: But had she, like,
[00:42:55] [SPEAKER_08]: take it a boat into Mexico and then just gone for a little hike across the border?
[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_08]: She'd like a free ride.
[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_08]: Here's some hotel tickets.
[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_08]: You don't know.
[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Not worried about immunizations or that.
[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_08]: I think that her flight into Lake Asheville.
[00:43:12] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:43:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Springfield?
[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, yes.
[00:43:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Sarah's going to be waiting down the boat.
[00:43:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I was just going to go pick her up.
[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
[00:43:24] [SPEAKER_05]: But now, it's here.
[00:43:26] [SPEAKER_08]: We're going to be there with Sarah and the family.
[00:43:28] [SPEAKER_08]: Come on.
[00:43:28] [SPEAKER_08]: Would you rather get a free airplane ticket?
[00:43:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, free airplane ticket.
[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, a small money spending card like then you're on the government
[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Don't.
[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:43:39] [SPEAKER_04]: You feel that way.
[00:43:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you, Ellen.
[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_04]: That's why we're friends.
[00:43:43] [SPEAKER_08]: That's why we're friends.
[00:43:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:43:45] [SPEAKER_08]: There's a make a dime.
[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Sarah's dime and my dime and a real estate.
[00:43:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I got collecting it.
[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, don't get me started on that.
[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_03]: There's a lot of things that's happening in the Australian military right now.
[00:43:57] [SPEAKER_03]: That I cannot talk about.
[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_03]: There isn't.
[00:43:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Trying to be.
[00:44:01] [SPEAKER_04]: That's true.
[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_04]: True.
[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_04]: All they do are there just the redistribution hub.
[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_03]: So one of the biggest things, and I can't talk about most of it that's happening.
[00:44:11] [SPEAKER_03]: And this is not anything in regards to technology or whatever we're getting.
[00:44:15] [SPEAKER_03]: It's personal wise that they are allowing now because our recruitment is that
[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's not easy to afford people would pay to other.
[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_03]: It's absolutely second.
[00:44:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, like imagine you know, that's just got to trust people you're with.
[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, such situations.
[00:44:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
[00:44:39] [SPEAKER_04]: So let's do our part against the surveillance technology.
[00:44:42] [SPEAKER_04]: There's a class of proper camp on degloodling phones.
[00:44:46] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to talk about that.
[00:44:47] [SPEAKER_04]: We'll do a show on that one, because Jen actually has the info on it.
[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_04]: He's just been super busy lately.
[00:44:53] [SPEAKER_04]: So I haven't been able to work it out of them.
[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_04]: But I want to give you a couple months to settle
[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_04]: and just think that, right?
[00:45:00] [SPEAKER_04]: I know you've been crazy.
[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_08]: Every time I talk to you in my different pieces,
[00:45:04] [SPEAKER_08]: I'll have to cuter my phone to have a little bit.
[00:45:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Right?
[00:45:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, no.
[00:45:08] [SPEAKER_04]: And I just know like life's been busy.
[00:45:11] [SPEAKER_04]: And yeah.
[00:45:12] [SPEAKER_07]: I had to be on the show.
[00:45:13] [SPEAKER_04]: So we'll talk about taking care of your phone,
[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_04]: doing that kind of stuff.
[00:45:20] [SPEAKER_04]: And we got to just be vigilant.
[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, we can't be complacent.
[00:45:23] [SPEAKER_08]: It really isn't that hard.
[00:45:26] [SPEAKER_08]: And I mean, I've been running a D-Google phone for a while now.
[00:45:30] [SPEAKER_08]: It's a little different because there's some,
[00:45:33] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't get the being.
[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_08]: It's going to rain in five minutes notice anymore.
[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_08]: Right?
[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_08]: But that's all stuff that they, you know, here,
[00:45:42] [SPEAKER_08]: you have a little piece of candy.
[00:45:43] [SPEAKER_08]: Take the goodie first.
[00:45:44] [SPEAKER_08]: First one's free.
[00:45:45] [SPEAKER_08]: Yep.
[00:45:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Take the goodies.
[00:45:47] [SPEAKER_04]: And then you take the goodies and your hook right in.
[00:45:51] [SPEAKER_03]: That's what that's all the way with the apps, right?
[00:45:53] [SPEAKER_03]: You would still get the,
[00:45:55] [SPEAKER_04]: no, because they were tracking your location.
[00:45:57] [SPEAKER_04]: They're tracking everything about you.
[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_03]: So that would take a while.
[00:46:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Your ability to get toned out of a lot, son.
[00:46:04] [SPEAKER_08]: No, I still get the, um,
[00:46:08] [SPEAKER_08]: like that what's that called when the kids listen?
[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_08]: I forget the umbrella.
[00:46:11] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, umbrella.
[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_04]: And the tornado alert runs on the same as the amber.
[00:46:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_08]: So you'd still get that.
[00:46:18] [SPEAKER_08]: It's pushed, push out to all the cell phones.
[00:46:20] [SPEAKER_04]: It does like your phone started doing it when you got into Texas, right?
[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, right?
[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Because it just pushes it at you because your phone is in here.
[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:46:28] [SPEAKER_03]: So we go off the, off the cell.
[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_08]: I had an app some my other phone and they,
[00:46:34] [SPEAKER_08]: they did, um, location and it would know if there was,
[00:46:39] [SPEAKER_08]: it was awesome because it would see,
[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_08]: you're going to,
[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_08]: it's going to rain in five minutes or thunder.
[00:46:44] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:46:45] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:46:46] [SPEAKER_08]: And I'll be damned if I didn't have rain start in five minutes.
[00:46:50] [SPEAKER_08]: It's, it was like awesome.
[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_08]: Right.
[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_08]: It was way better than the weather man.
[00:46:54] [SPEAKER_05]: Uh-huh.
[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_08]: But, um,
[00:46:56] [SPEAKER_08]: it's all because it was track,
[00:46:57] [SPEAKER_08]: they were tracking your location.
[00:46:59] [SPEAKER_04]: My father-in-law used to say the best weather app was a rock.
[00:47:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Just throw it outside.
[00:47:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:47:05] [SPEAKER_04]: It's dry.
[00:47:06] [SPEAKER_04]: It's sunny.
[00:47:07] [SPEAKER_08]: It's, it's a leaves on a tree because you could see him blowing
[00:47:10] [SPEAKER_08]: or the flip-ball.
[00:47:11] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_08]: They flip-ball.
[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_08]: You see the underside of a tree leaf.
[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_08]: You know, it's coming.
[00:47:16] [SPEAKER_08]: Right.
[00:47:16] [SPEAKER_08]: It's a bad gust of wind.
[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_04]: And if it gets wet, then it's raining.
[00:47:20] [SPEAKER_04]: That's raining.
[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_05]: You're going to see that.
[00:47:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.
[00:47:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he was a crack up.
[00:47:28] [SPEAKER_04]: So, no, like I'd say, be visually.
[00:47:30] [SPEAKER_04]: And how many times are you just talking around your phone?
[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_04]: And you're like, oh, I was really thinking about blah, blah, blah, blah,
[00:47:36] [SPEAKER_04]: for those of you who have a Facebook, use Facebook.
[00:47:38] [SPEAKER_04]: And now your Facebook just pops up with that stuff.
[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, man.
[00:47:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Do I have a story for you?
[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[00:47:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, as soon as I come like a rye of tea,
[00:47:45] [SPEAKER_03]: all the my Facebook feed was all American ads.
[00:47:49] [SPEAKER_03]: That's crazy.
[00:47:50] [SPEAKER_04]: It just switches over.
[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_08]: It knows where you are.
[00:47:53] [SPEAKER_08]: It's tracking me.
[00:47:54] [SPEAKER_08]: You could even, these apps are all feeding to each other too.
[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_08]: Like, all Google, Google, and YouTube, and all that stuff
[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_08]: cross-pollony.
[00:48:04] [SPEAKER_08]: They're all sent in stuff back before.
[00:48:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.
[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_04]: See, that was the dumbest thing they ever did
[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_04]: was an eye-leading me from Facebook because now they can't track
[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_04]: any of that.
[00:48:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, duh.
[00:48:15] [SPEAKER_04]: No, you know, actually having that cord cut,
[00:48:17] [SPEAKER_04]: like, I just quite using it.
[00:48:19] [SPEAKER_04]: And then you realize like, I don't need to use it.
[00:48:22] [SPEAKER_04]: What's the big deal?
[00:48:25] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, like my phone, I can still do most thing.
[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_08]: The biggest thing is notifications.
[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't get a lot of the,
[00:48:31] [SPEAKER_08]: but it's nice because I'm not like ding ding ding all the time.
[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.
[00:48:36] [SPEAKER_04]: I have to turn mine off.
[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I get like, yeah, ding ding ding, like all the time.
[00:48:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I just leave my phone sound off.
[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_08]: So I don't want to get ding ding.
[00:48:44] [SPEAKER_08]: When I get email and stuff,
[00:48:45] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't get ding all the time because I don't like,
[00:48:47] [SPEAKER_08]: at that notification has to go through Google Play.
[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, see?
[00:48:53] [SPEAKER_04]: And so Google's like, no one, oh, you just got an email
[00:48:56] [SPEAKER_04]: about this.
[00:48:57] [SPEAKER_04]: You just got an email about that.
[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_04]: You just got an email about this.
[00:49:00] [SPEAKER_04]: And if you think they can't survey that stuff,
[00:49:03] [SPEAKER_04]: like, yeah.
[00:49:05] [SPEAKER_04]: All right, we better get into what.
[00:49:07] [SPEAKER_04]: We better get into some change in Earth news.
[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_04]: So here, I'm just chilling.
[00:49:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I know.
[00:49:11] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if she's chilling.
[00:49:13] [SPEAKER_08]: Play the fucking music.
[00:49:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's calm it.
[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_06]: Survive, thrive.
[00:49:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Theus is changing Earth news.
[00:49:34] [SPEAKER_04]: All right, change it or news.
[00:49:39] [SPEAKER_04]: So today is September 15th, 2025.
[00:49:42] [SPEAKER_04]: We have a major X class player that went off the sun yesterday.
[00:49:48] [SPEAKER_04]: X 4.5, it was just a short duration player.
[00:49:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Jump on your YouTube and check it out though,
[00:49:57] [SPEAKER_04]: because it was really cool to see.
[00:50:00] [SPEAKER_04]: It will just be a glancing blow that's gonna hit us
[00:50:03] [SPEAKER_04]: on Monday.
[00:50:06] [SPEAKER_04]: But because it was so large, it still,
[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_04]: like, kind of worrisome.
[00:50:11] [SPEAKER_04]: One of the comments was, even a semi-hertz,
[00:50:14] [SPEAKER_04]: a glancing blow, right?
[00:50:17] [SPEAKER_04]: So minor disruptions are expected from this storm.
[00:50:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Some of the systems might go down.
[00:50:24] [SPEAKER_04]: They were, for example, AT&T,
[00:50:26] [SPEAKER_04]: some of the gaming systems, Discord, stuff like that,
[00:50:29] [SPEAKER_04]: that's one more sensitive side.
[00:50:32] [SPEAKER_08]: How about banks?
[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_04]: I think we're gonna be okay there.
[00:50:36] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not like a deep rooted.
[00:50:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Internet problem, as long as all that system stays right.
[00:50:44] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that's the forecast of it.
[00:50:46] [SPEAKER_04]: People are gonna tell you different things,
[00:50:50] [SPEAKER_04]: but Ben from suspicious observers,
[00:50:52] [SPEAKER_04]: he's not wanting to blow it up as far as like,
[00:50:54] [SPEAKER_04]: oh, this is gonna be horrible or whatever, right?
[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_04]: So I think he's looking at it pretty realistically,
[00:50:59] [SPEAKER_04]: but it was a major event.
[00:51:02] [SPEAKER_04]: The, let's call it the Emerald Spire.
[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_04]: It was huge compared to what it normally is.
[00:51:09] [SPEAKER_04]: So I'm always pretty crazy to see.
[00:51:12] [SPEAKER_04]: We have wildfires out west situation
[00:51:16] [SPEAKER_04]: was not improving as very early this morning
[00:51:20] [SPEAKER_04]: when I was doing my research about one o'clock.
[00:51:25] [SPEAKER_04]: And so that situation,
[00:51:28] [SPEAKER_04]: it did get better as today.
[00:51:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Went on there having some cooling out there,
[00:51:31] [SPEAKER_04]: so that's a good thing.
[00:51:33] [SPEAKER_04]: And then we had Hurricane Francine run into Louisiana,
[00:51:36] [SPEAKER_04]: but you guys have one sitting right off the coast
[00:51:39] [SPEAKER_04]: of the Carolina's right now as well.
[00:51:42] [SPEAKER_04]: So it's gonna be heads up on that one.
[00:51:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, September 9th, 2024, we have 351 earthquakes
[00:51:49] [SPEAKER_04]: that were 2.0 or bigger.
[00:51:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Biggest of which was a 5.5 in central,
[00:51:53] [SPEAKER_04]: the central eastern Pacific rise.
[00:51:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Ring of fire was really active.
[00:51:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Central Asia was really active with earthquake
[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_04]: activity.
[00:52:02] [SPEAKER_04]: And there was a 5.3 near We Walk,
[00:52:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Papua New Guinea.
[00:52:07] [SPEAKER_04]: And then I've been getting all my language corrected
[00:52:10] [SPEAKER_04]: by I wanted to do for that area which I appreciate
[00:52:13] [SPEAKER_04]: because I have no idea.
[00:52:14] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know if we don't fall down.
[00:52:16] [SPEAKER_04]: No, We Walk, yup.
[00:52:17] [SPEAKER_04]: And I'm sure I slaughter it.
[00:52:19] [SPEAKER_04]: So sorry to everybody out there,
[00:52:21] [SPEAKER_04]: slaughtering your countries.
[00:52:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Go ahead and leave me a message about it though.
[00:52:26] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm fine with that.
[00:52:27] [SPEAKER_04]: If Uganda, this one's gonna be really bad.
[00:52:31] [SPEAKER_04]: The Naiwamba river flooded, claiming two lives
[00:52:35] [SPEAKER_04]: in cassice.
[00:52:37] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a big flooding problem going on down there.
[00:52:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Severe flooding also in India.
[00:52:43] [SPEAKER_04]: This is their normal monsoon times,
[00:52:44] [SPEAKER_04]: but it's been significantly worse.
[00:52:47] [SPEAKER_04]: This year multiple districts affected there.
[00:52:50] [SPEAKER_04]: The boils fire in northern California burned down
[00:52:54] [SPEAKER_04]: 30 structures on the night.
[00:52:56] [SPEAKER_04]: And the Bolivian wildfires,
[00:53:00] [SPEAKER_04]: we are talking 3.8 million hectares of rainforest.
[00:53:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Now gone off the face of the earth.
[00:53:09] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a really, really devastating disaster
[00:53:14] [SPEAKER_04]: that's going on down there.
[00:53:16] [SPEAKER_04]: And the 3.8 million hectares
[00:53:18] [SPEAKER_04]: figures out to about almost 9 million acres.
[00:53:24] [SPEAKER_04]: So that is really, really sad.
[00:53:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I've seen some big fires in California
[00:53:29] [SPEAKER_04]: and I have no idea still what 9 million acres
[00:53:33] [SPEAKER_04]: would look like.
[00:53:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Fuego volcano erupted, causing an earthquake
[00:53:39] [SPEAKER_04]: from that activity.
[00:53:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Volcano activity is still crazy guys.
[00:53:44] [SPEAKER_04]: September 10th, there were 327 earthquakes
[00:53:47] [SPEAKER_04]: our 2.0er bigger, biggest of which was a 5.7
[00:53:50] [SPEAKER_04]: in the South Atlantic Ocean near Chinsfavorite.
[00:53:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, South San Francisco.
[00:53:56] [SPEAKER_04]: South Sanwich finally up there on the list.
[00:54:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Typhoon Yagi.
[00:54:02] [SPEAKER_04]: This is over hitting lower Asia.
[00:54:05] [SPEAKER_04]: It is hitting Vietnam.
[00:54:08] [SPEAKER_04]: It is hitting Myanmar.
[00:54:11] [SPEAKER_04]: It's hitting Thailand.
[00:54:14] [SPEAKER_04]: It is doing some big time damage.
[00:54:17] [SPEAKER_04]: 200 people at least that in Vietnam hit Myanmar did day.
[00:54:23] [SPEAKER_04]: What was my mom saying like 900 people there?
[00:54:26] [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't write that note down, but it was like 900.
[00:54:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Dought in the field of flooding and flooding and so on.
[00:54:31] [SPEAKER_04]: And landslides.
[00:54:32] [SPEAKER_04]: That cyclone is doing some mega damage over there.
[00:54:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Central Florida also experienced heavy flooding.
[00:54:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Tuscany Italy was hit with a hail storm 120 mile
[00:54:45] [SPEAKER_04]: in our winds.
[00:54:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Oregon is struggling to tackle over 20 active wildfires
[00:54:49] [SPEAKER_04]: in their state.
[00:54:51] [SPEAKER_04]: September 11th, 2024, 347 earthquakes
[00:54:54] [SPEAKER_04]: our 2.0er bigger, biggest of which was a 6.3
[00:54:57] [SPEAKER_04]: in the Bismarck scene near Papadugini.
[00:55:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Two earthquakes near Albuquerque, New Mexico.
[00:55:04] [SPEAKER_04]: They were upwards of a 2.5.
[00:55:06] [SPEAKER_04]: So that's pretty big for New Mexico.
[00:55:08] [SPEAKER_04]: I saw there was more activity in Texas today.
[00:55:11] [SPEAKER_04]: France scene made landfall in Louisiana.
[00:55:14] [SPEAKER_04]: As an official hurricane down there,
[00:55:16] [SPEAKER_04]: did some widespread damage.
[00:55:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Not nearly as bad as some of the ones we've seen in the past though.
[00:55:22] [SPEAKER_04]: It didn't go up to like a five or anything like that.
[00:55:25] [SPEAKER_04]: On September 12th of 24,
[00:55:27] [SPEAKER_04]: there was 338 earthquakes, our 2.0er bigger,
[00:55:30] [SPEAKER_04]: biggest of which was a 5.2 in the north Pacific
[00:55:33] [SPEAKER_04]: ocean near Japan.
[00:55:35] [SPEAKER_04]: A 5.8 earthquake hit Pakistan, the tremors were fell
[00:55:39] [SPEAKER_04]: all the way to India.
[00:55:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Both the bridge fire and the airport fires
[00:55:43] [SPEAKER_04]: are prompted the emergency declaration in the state of California
[00:55:47] [SPEAKER_04]: with over 100,000 acres burned.
[00:55:50] [SPEAKER_04]: The line fires also burning in that same area.
[00:55:54] [SPEAKER_04]: And then Ohio is having droughts
[00:55:57] [SPEAKER_04]: in the south affecting their pumpkin crops there
[00:56:01] [SPEAKER_04]: so that might affect some prices of pumpkins
[00:56:04] [SPEAKER_04]: at Halloween time.
[00:56:06] [SPEAKER_04]: September 13th, 2024, 363 earthquakes
[00:56:10] [SPEAKER_04]: are 2.0er bigger, biggest of which was 5.7 in the Philippines
[00:56:13] [SPEAKER_04]: in your Japan.
[00:56:15] [SPEAKER_04]: There's a 4.7 earthquake that shook LA.
[00:56:19] [SPEAKER_04]: That is the 4.0er bigger this year.
[00:56:24] [SPEAKER_04]: That is the most since 1988,
[00:56:26] [SPEAKER_04]: which is when they had a really bigger earthquake
[00:56:28] [SPEAKER_04]: that took down the bay bridge.
[00:56:29] [SPEAKER_08]: Just got that.
[00:56:31] Oh.
[00:56:31] [SPEAKER_08]: I think that was that road,
[00:56:33] [SPEAKER_08]: maybe that that rease elevated roadway?
[00:56:37] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that was how two levels.
[00:56:38] [SPEAKER_04]: That's the bay area bridge.
[00:56:40] [SPEAKER_04]: And that one took it there.
[00:56:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that was a big disaster.
[00:56:44] [SPEAKER_04]: So there was one that hit on Super Bowl Sunday too.
[00:56:49] [SPEAKER_04]: But it did like some damage to the,
[00:56:52] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if it was Super Bowl Sunday,
[00:56:54] [SPEAKER_04]: but it hit on the stadium.
[00:56:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Peaceball.
[00:56:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, the world series, right?
[00:56:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the world series.
[00:57:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, yeah, big event.
[00:57:02] [SPEAKER_04]: So that would happen, but so that's kind of some interesting
[00:57:05] [SPEAKER_04]: activity.
[00:57:06] [SPEAKER_04]: It's really not slowing down.
[00:57:08] [SPEAKER_04]: It just keeps shifting.
[00:57:09] [SPEAKER_04]: It's centered in middle America and then it shifts
[00:57:12] [SPEAKER_04]: down to South America, like I did today.
[00:57:14] [SPEAKER_04]: And then it'll shoot up to North America
[00:57:16] [SPEAKER_04]: and shift down to South America.
[00:57:18] [SPEAKER_04]: So it's interesting.
[00:57:20] [SPEAKER_04]: We're just gonna keep our eyes on that.
[00:57:22] [SPEAKER_04]: And the Philippines, Mount Canle,
[00:57:25] [SPEAKER_04]: can't, can't loan.
[00:57:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure I kill it.
[00:57:28] [SPEAKER_04]: It erupts after 300 and 37 earthquakes in 24 hours.
[00:57:33] [SPEAKER_04]: So that one was definitely making some noise before she went.
[00:57:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Francine, left Louisiana.
[00:57:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Lots of flood cleanup going on there.
[00:57:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Tiling, got hit by Aggie.
[00:57:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Landslide concerns, big time they've been getting
[00:57:46] [SPEAKER_04]: just soaked over there.
[00:57:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Indiana farmers are desperate for rain
[00:57:51] [SPEAKER_04]: as their drought is worsening so that one little
[00:57:54] [SPEAKER_04]: sloth through there and it's weird
[00:57:57] [SPEAKER_04]: because we've been getting so much rain in other areas
[00:57:59] [SPEAKER_04]: and then some areas are just left without.
[00:58:05] [SPEAKER_04]: 300 or on September 14th of 2024,
[00:58:08] [SPEAKER_04]: there was 321 earthquakes.
[00:58:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Our 2.0 or bigger, a bigus of which was a 5.3
[00:58:13] [SPEAKER_04]: in the Philippines, senior Guam.
[00:58:15] [SPEAKER_04]: There was a 3.4 earthquake that hit San Jose
[00:58:17] [SPEAKER_04]: in California and there was a 4.1 earthquake in Texas.
[00:58:22] [SPEAKER_04]: There's major flooding concerns over the Czech Polish border.
[00:58:26] [SPEAKER_04]: So if you haven't seen this story,
[00:58:27] [SPEAKER_04]: central Europe is just getting hammered by severe flooding.
[00:58:33] [SPEAKER_04]: I think their death toll is up to 7,
[00:58:36] [SPEAKER_04]: but it has across France, Austria, Germany
[00:58:39] [SPEAKER_04]: and then moving over into Poland
[00:58:43] [SPEAKER_04]: and the Czech Republic.
[00:58:46] [SPEAKER_04]: So that is an unfolding situation.
[00:58:48] [SPEAKER_04]: It got worse actually today
[00:58:50] [SPEAKER_04]: and there's more rain expected to come this week.
[00:58:53] [SPEAKER_04]: So it's not gonna get better anytime soon.
[00:58:56] [SPEAKER_04]: And Nigeria, the situation also grew worse.
[00:58:59] [SPEAKER_04]: We've been talking about the flooding
[00:59:00] [SPEAKER_04]: that's been going on there for a couple weeks.
[00:59:02] [SPEAKER_04]: One million people are now displaced
[00:59:05] [SPEAKER_04]: after a damn collapse due to all the rain.
[00:59:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Two million people affected by the flooding there.
[00:59:12] [SPEAKER_04]: In Zimbabwe quite a different story
[00:59:14] [SPEAKER_04]: so we're talking northern Africa, southern Africa.
[00:59:17] [SPEAKER_04]: They are having severe drought
[00:59:19] [SPEAKER_04]: which is affecting water levels in their lakes
[00:59:23] [SPEAKER_04]: which are they rely upon for fishing and things like that.
[00:59:27] [SPEAKER_04]: And it's causing a lot of widespread malnutrition.
[00:59:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Today, the 15th most of the activity
[00:59:35] [SPEAKER_04]: as far as earthquakes was in middle America and South America
[00:59:38] [SPEAKER_04]: but is also interesting
[00:59:39] [SPEAKER_04]: because there's normally activity in central Asia
[00:59:43] [SPEAKER_04]: which is normal but it actually started just slashing down
[00:59:48] [SPEAKER_04]: into southern Asia as well
[00:59:49] [SPEAKER_04]: and that could be because Jaggi came through there.
[00:59:52] [SPEAKER_04]: But it was a significant line down
[00:59:55] [SPEAKER_04]: and then also from, say it proper for me,
[00:59:59] [SPEAKER_04]: then along too.
[01:00:00] [SPEAKER_04]: There you go.
[01:00:02] [SPEAKER_04]: From, it doesn't even spell that way.
[01:00:05] [SPEAKER_04]: From Vanuatu all the way up the,
[01:00:08] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm ring of fire all the way up into Russia.
[01:00:11] [SPEAKER_04]: So it was just interesting activity
[01:00:14] [SPEAKER_04]: that I don't normally see and pretty heavy,
[01:00:17] [SPEAKER_04]: 478 earthquakes, that were 2.0 or bigger.
[01:00:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean so we had that X-Class activity
[01:00:23] [SPEAKER_04]: instant optic in earthquake activity.
[01:00:26] [SPEAKER_04]: There was a 5.5 earthquake in Indonesia
[01:00:28] [SPEAKER_04]: that's our big dog for the day 4.5 a kilowayah in Hawaii
[01:00:33] [SPEAKER_04]: and then the central European flooding
[01:00:36] [SPEAKER_04]: just growing worse and worse.
[01:00:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so we were up last week
[01:00:40] [SPEAKER_04]: with our volcano numbers never seen 35 before
[01:00:44] [SPEAKER_04]: and all the years that I've been recording numbers
[01:00:48] [SPEAKER_04]: and we're still there this week.
[01:00:51] [SPEAKER_04]: We actually went up one for unrest
[01:00:56] [SPEAKER_04]: and the same for minor activity.
[01:00:58] [SPEAKER_04]: So they added another volcano to the list this week
[01:01:03] [SPEAKER_04]: it just keeps growing.
[01:01:04] [SPEAKER_04]: It seems so we're at 92 now.
[01:01:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Definitely gonna keep my eyes on the volcano numbers
[01:01:10] [SPEAKER_04]: because that's insane.
[01:01:11] [SPEAKER_04]: I've just never seen that many before ever
[01:01:14] [SPEAKER_04]: and you know, the big explanation
[01:01:18] [SPEAKER_04]: is that we have this alignment of our gas giants
[01:01:21] [SPEAKER_04]: coming up October 24th.
[01:01:25] [SPEAKER_04]: There's gonna be a time when the Earth
[01:01:26] [SPEAKER_04]: is the only thing that's on the one side of the sun
[01:01:29] [SPEAKER_04]: and everything else is aligned on the other.
[01:01:32] [SPEAKER_04]: So we'll see, I don't know, you know
[01:01:34] [SPEAKER_04]: there's been lots of things that come down the pipeline
[01:01:36] [SPEAKER_04]: we'll just keep an eye on it.
[01:01:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Interesting theory to watch.
[01:01:40] [SPEAKER_04]: In the United States for wildfire
[01:01:42] [SPEAKER_04]: our preparedness level is at a five.
[01:01:44] [SPEAKER_04]: There are 62 fires, three of them are new.
[01:01:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Two million, 485,000 acres on fire.
[01:01:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Six of those fires are contained at this time.
[01:01:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Number one, stay down fire is California with eight fire.
[01:01:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Eight fires, 574,000 acres burning.
[01:02:03] [SPEAKER_04]: One of those fires is contained at this time.
[01:02:06] [SPEAKER_04]: I've seen California numbers alone in the millions though.
[01:02:09] [SPEAKER_04]: So it's still pretty decent here for them I'd say.
[01:02:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Number two on the list is Idaho.
[01:02:16] [SPEAKER_04]: They have 22 fires actively burning, 430,000 acres on fire.
[01:02:22] [SPEAKER_04]: No new fires, none of them are contained.
[01:02:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Number three state is Oregon.
[01:02:28] [SPEAKER_04]: 22 fires also burning in Oregon for a total of 372,000 acres.
[01:02:33] [SPEAKER_04]: No new fires, none of those are contained.
[01:02:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Wyoming is number four on the list with four active fires
[01:02:38] [SPEAKER_04]: for a total of 68,000 acres.
[01:02:41] [SPEAKER_04]: There are two new fires, but one of those is contained.
[01:02:45] [SPEAKER_04]: So they're making headway and hopefully they're getting
[01:02:47] [SPEAKER_04]: a lot of cool weather this week.
[01:02:50] [SPEAKER_04]: They should help those firefighters get those fires out.
[01:02:54] [SPEAKER_04]: So all righty, so that's the change in Earth news.
[01:02:57] [SPEAKER_04]: The volcano was man.
[01:03:00] [SPEAKER_04]: I can't believe it.
[01:03:02] [SPEAKER_08]: I just saw I just saw I noticed that the west coast of Canada
[01:03:09] [SPEAKER_08]: just had a 6.6.
[01:03:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh really?
[01:03:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Like just got that notice right now?
[01:03:17] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes, since we started the show.
[01:03:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Crazy.
[01:03:19] [SPEAKER_04]: See, that's why I'm saying it's like bouncing between South America
[01:03:23] [SPEAKER_04]: and then boom back up to North America and like day by day.
[01:03:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes it's South America happening and sometimes it's up on the North America.
[01:03:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Middle America has just been yet wild.
[01:03:35] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know they've had constant activity.
[01:03:37] [SPEAKER_04]: The same thing happens on the ring of fire by Australia.
[01:03:40] [SPEAKER_04]: It goes from Bono Alto up to Russia, but sometimes it doesn't go all the way down.
[01:03:46] [SPEAKER_04]: It just stops in Indonesia.
[01:03:47] [SPEAKER_04]: So we have the activity there and then it'll bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce.
[01:03:53] [SPEAKER_04]: So, oh crazy stuff.
[01:03:56] [SPEAKER_08]: We have New Zealand.
[01:03:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Let's look at the Queen Charlottes' sounds.
[01:03:59] [SPEAKER_04]: New Zealand got rock today too.
[01:04:02] [SPEAKER_04]: And the Queen Charlottes' sounds so is it.
[01:04:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I wonder if that's up further north.
[01:04:07] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, north of Vancouver.
[01:04:10] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[01:04:10] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[01:04:11] [SPEAKER_04]: What?
[01:04:12] [SPEAKER_04]: That would, from what I've seen, I would be watching the Cascadia fault line right now.
[01:04:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Because that energy usually comes down into their or towards Yellowstone and then it comes
[01:04:22] [SPEAKER_04]: down around the North American Great Town.
[01:04:25] [SPEAKER_04]: So, interesting.
[01:04:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Breaking news.
[01:04:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Breaking news.
[01:04:29] [SPEAKER_04]: You heard it first here.
[01:04:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Make next week's list.
[01:04:34] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, exactly.
[01:04:35] [SPEAKER_05]: It will be on next week's list.
[01:04:38] [SPEAKER_04]: All right guys.
[01:04:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, Chin.
[01:04:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you very much for coming.
[01:04:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I know you're so busy.
[01:04:42] [SPEAKER_04]: So I always appreciate it.
[01:04:44] [SPEAKER_08]: You can take an enjoy sitting gap with me.
[01:04:46] [SPEAKER_04]: There you go.
[01:04:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Get a break.
[01:04:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Take it a break.
[01:04:48] [SPEAKER_04]: To chat with friends.
[01:04:50] [SPEAKER_08]: That's right.
[01:04:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Ellen, thank you very much for coming.
[01:04:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Coming to the show.
[01:04:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Coming down the show.
[01:04:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Even though I made this mistake in time of week early.
[01:04:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, she's got to hang out with me for like a whole week now.
[01:05:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[01:05:04] [SPEAKER_04]: But it'll be on next weekend.
[01:05:05] [SPEAKER_05]: We'll be working.
[01:05:07] So.
[01:05:08] [SPEAKER_04]: All right, you guys.
[01:05:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Had an over to change in our series.com.

[01:05:22] [SPEAKER_04]: They look beautiful.
[01:05:24] [SPEAKER_04]: So, um, had an over there,
[01:05:25] [SPEAKER_04]: checking out new merch.
[01:05:26] [SPEAKER_04]: The merchandise is really, really cool.
[01:05:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Great quality shirts.
[01:05:30] [SPEAKER_04]: So check that out.
[01:05:31] [SPEAKER_04]: And until next time, remember.
[01:05:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Dream.
[01:05:35] [SPEAKER_08]: Survive.
[01:05:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Survive.
