[00:00:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Urban Survival Simulation
[00:00:06] [SPEAKER_01]: This is Gotham, Get Out
[00:00:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Alright, last flight out of Gotham folks. We're here in the Jones Mobile and we're actually in the midst of a deep talk about when to bug out.
[00:00:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, when you get preppers like this together, the question was, when do you bug out? When do you know it's time to go?
[00:00:38] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, what is the thing? And we talked about, well there must be a wave and it starts up slowly where people are leaving but they don't know why they're leaving or where they're going.
[00:00:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And then there's a massive departure, exodus. And then that drops off like a rock because there's just less and less people.
[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_02]: And James was saying, well it's probably less chaos and I said yeah, because people are chaos. And if there's less people, there's less chaos.
[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_03]: And Dan mentioned the bug out equation which I think is probably worth talking about. I think that's a cool way to look at it.
[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't author this but Ben and I talked about this on Patriot Power Hour probably when we joined Prepper Broadcasting Network in 2020.
[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And the formula I saw is you measure the risk of staying where you are and compare it to the risk of the bug out, the movement plus the risk of where you're going, your destination.
[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, the whole conversation of bugging out is you have a pre-planned location that will be lower risk when you arrive there, right?
[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_00]: But you gotta factor in the risk of the move which we're going to simulate and exercise and practice tonight.
[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean that's largely the whole threat, right? Is the move tonight aside from maybe being seen.
[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, the vast majority is going to be the elemental impacts on us and what we can sustain.
[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_03]: So Dave Jones is on, he's about to be on his flight out of Gotham. And we are sitting here in the lot and it is our last chance for either or any or all of us to say, you know what?
[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_03]: This is a bad idea. Let's forget it.
[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a volunteer mission. It's your last chance to turn back.
[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_02]: We stopped at the destination and dropped off the last caches and we were outside for maybe 15, 20 minutes and they were already shivering.
[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_02]: But there's a physical reaction you get when you fast where you get chills. You get chills even if it's warm.
[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think it's your body adjusting, you know, the internal thermostat.
[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_02]: So this is going to be interesting. Each one of these guys has not eaten in what, 20 hours?
[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_02]: What time even is it?
[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, about 20 hours.
[00:03:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_02]: So and I'll tell you, I know what's in those boxes and it might be a lot longer before they...
[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I had three pulled pork sandwiches at 7 p.m. last night.
[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_00]: That was it?
[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, last meal. What did you have? I had... You know what I had? This is perfect for this.
[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I had eggs from the Jones Homestead and I had bacon from the hogs from our...
[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Was that operation we had?
[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_01]: The swine. What was the swine?
[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, when he came up and got it.
[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah, what did we call that one?
[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_03]: What did we call that one?
[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Was it operation swine? It could be.
[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, my story is like if this was going to be my last meal before Fasten and go on this, it would be all from the Jones Homestead.
[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, these guys have been talking about nothing but food the whole time with where?
[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, the route is encrusted with markets and restaurants. That's probably why.
[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Fast food restaurant with deep fryers. You can smell them from outside.
[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Every type of food you want around here, literally.
[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. One of the drop off locations used to be an outback.
[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_00]: So since we're only doing this tonight, this isn't real world and this isn't for days or weeks on end.
[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_00]: No.
[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_00]: But for tonight, what's the criteria that you're willing to eat something that you find?
[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I think it'll be a food safety concern.
[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_03]: You could go a little longer if you think it's going to make you sick.
[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Food safety would be my only concern. Flavor, nutritional value out the window.
[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_00]: But in the environment that we're sitting in, we're looking outside, this is suburbia, mid-Atlantic suburbia.
[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, what might you find?
[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, the ground rules though, we're not heading into the sores, we're not talking to people.
[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, of course.
[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And you went to... We went past a sushi place and they had a dumpster and a sushi dumpster would be...
[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.
[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_02]: That's below the line.
[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's for tonight.
[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I mean by food safety concern.
[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_03]: If I'm going to eat it and regret it in a day or two, probably not going to go for it.
[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_00]: But all that said...
[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Day 7, no food, sushi dumpster probably gets above the line.
[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, maybe. Depends, right? You could die from it too.
[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_00]: It's been cool freezing the whole time.
[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_03]: You could definitely die from dehydration.
[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_03]: That's exactly what I was about to say.
[00:05:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Funny enough is if people took food from display cases and what?
[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Maria is asking, did they chicken out yet?
[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_02]: She knows.
[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_02]: And I said, no not yet.
[00:05:56] [SPEAKER_03]: She knows the cold better than all of us probably.
[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Well Dan, you said each route is about eight miles.
[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_02]: About eight miles, yeah.
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so and urban terrain, they could take shortcuts but then you run the risk...
[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Risky business.
[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, of taking that shortcut and finding a fence that you can't cross or a swamp.
[00:06:21] [SPEAKER_02]: That was my concern.
[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_00]: We're not in city core.
[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_00]: So maybe the name of this election is slightly misleading.
[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_00]: We're not getting out of like Manhattan.
[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_00]: We're not in concrete jungle yet.
[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Manhattan, yeah.
[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_00]: No, this is suburbia.
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Suburbia.
[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Mixed residential...
[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I think Manhattan would be worse.
[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Plazas, commercial, industrial, escape from New York.
[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe that's another Azure highlight in the future but for today we're just going to get out of suburbia.
[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And I would say squirrels are on the menu.
[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_00]: You can kill one.
[00:06:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, or trap one.
[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Squirrels good.
[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_02]: They each have a multi-tool so it's definitely possible.
[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I could break a squirrel down with a multi-tool for sure.
[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's no problem.
[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Squirrel ain't bad.
[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Squirrel tastes great.
[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah, it's all the work meat.
[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Especially if it's hot.
[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_03]: We've got a fire in a hot squirrel.
[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_03]: It would be great with a little wild onion.
[00:07:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah, now you're talking.
[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I think fire is a possibility.
[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not raining.
[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, fire is a definite possibility.
[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_00]: But it did snow last night.
[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a definite possibility.
[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_00]: We've got about an inch and a half of snow on the ground.
[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to strip that cedar tree we just saw damn near bear on our way into camps.
[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll at least have that if nothing else.
[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that'll definitely light.
[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_00]: And the goal is to make it to sunrise where Newt Gruer is going to come down and tell us how we did.
[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, Ivy in hand.
[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, that was one thing we talked about.
[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Water, we got to get you guys started off with some water because who knows?
[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_02]: No.
[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll tell you what though, that little berm right there when we pulled into the park has plenty of snow on it.
[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_03]: We can definitely fill that little pot I bought up with that and have some hot water, which that will be a game changer.
[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm telling you, we get some hot water.
[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_03]: No, I'm not going to tell you.
[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_03]: No, none of that.
[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_00]: We're too close now.
[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_00]: It's all possible is what you want to say, right?
[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Everything is possible.
[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Everything's possible.
[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_00]: But there's multiple ways to get to that park right there.
[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_00]: But the fatigue, the wind is a bit windy out.
[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's windier than I thought it would be.
[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_00]: A low of 22 degrees Fahrenheit at about 4 a.m.
[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Wind is going to take our willpower.
[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_00]: And again, we chose the fast starting yesterday.
[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's 24 hours at kickoff at the start point without food by the time we finish, we're out towards 36 hours.
[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Although we can eat anything we can find once we start.
[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_00]: True.
[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Might have to get in this in winter.
[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_03]: See what we got?
[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_03]: No light in the woods.
[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_03]: That's going to be tough.
[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_03]: We've got to find some kind of light source because then we can at least scan the ground for, you know, the vestiges of some kind of root.
[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_00]: See, there's something about this though.
[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_00]: This there's a lot of ambient light in suburbia.
[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's not as dark as you might think.
[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_03]: I hope that it is a little lit up.
[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_03]: That would be nice.
[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Although, you know, what's the closest thing to where you guys are that neon looking building?
[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_00]: That office building's parking lots have lights there all the time.
[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_02]: You might be.
[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we may have some.
[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_03]: And then you're going to have the highway at the back and that's got to be pretty decently lit, right?
[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah.
[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_03]: So somewhere to do a light for that.
[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_02]: It's pretty far down there.
[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, here's something worth talking about for anybody who does cross.
[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Like if you go through that, if you happen to go through the golf course, it's late season.
[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't even know if they'd be any good to eat, but the cat tails will still be there.
[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_03]: And they suck when they're good.
[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_03]: But you know, it's something if to get there, I wouldn't want you to get the root out because the root though it's starchy is going to be underwater and you can't do that in this kind of weather.
[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_03]: But if you can nab a handful of cat tails low as low to the root as possible, they may I mean they're going to be frozen.
[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_03]: It's when you cook them fresh, they're already jelly in texture and terrible.
[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_03]: So I'm not sure how bad they would be, but it is a wild edible.
[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean,
[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_00]: So coming up and scavenging food is part of the all viable.
[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_00]: It's all viable.
[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Trying to upcycle whatever we can find for fire and light you're talking about, but also makeshift weapons, additional clothing.
[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Light sources, camouflage.
[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_02]: If you found a trash bag,
[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.
[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I would put that trash bag on just to block the wind.
[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that would be great.
[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Cut holes for the arms right under my coat.
[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, actually my under my brother.
[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah, right under the coat.
[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_03]: I'd put it.
[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_02]: We were going hunting.
[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_02]: It was like the first day of deer season and our parents' property had like nine acres and at the back was just open farmers field.
[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_02]: And they deer came in there all the time because they were going to go pond.
[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, he comes over.
[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_02]: He don't have a raincoat on.
[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_02]: It's drizzling rain.
[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_02]: It's cold.
[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_02]: It's November.
[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't have a raincoat.
[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_02]: We put trash bags on us.
[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Cut holes in it like this.
[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And they were light blue trash bags.
[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_02]: And he says, if any deer see us, they're gonna fall over for laughter.
[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I've seen blaze orange before, but what is this nonsense?
[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Light blue.
[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_02]: The only color we could see is like Robin's Egg Blue.
[00:11:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh wow.
[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_00]: But I could see that.
[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So just for the ground rules of God, them get out with, you know, this is an exercise in the real world where we're avoiding people.
[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_00]: We're not talking to people.
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Getting interactions with anybody, especially the authorities is automatic loss.
[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's a competition between three of us.
[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to try and take this honestly.
[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Other things, we're not going to trespass.
[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_00]: We're not stealing anything.
[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_00]: We're not taking anything that is not clearly just refuse or discard debris.
[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_00]: But, and you know, it's only 24 hours.
[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't want to lead people to think that we're going to be dumpster diving tonight.
[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_00]: But Davis set up the basically the simulation for that with the cash boxes, right?
[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_00]: So in the event that you were in a scenario where you did need to leave an urban area and you had to do it with stealth and you had to do it quickly.
[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And he had to find things that you need.
[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_00]: We've developed an exercise to try to simulate that tonight.
[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_00]: First of its kind. See how it goes.
[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited.
[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited to find something to eat right now, actually.
[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited.
[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm excited.
[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how excited I'll be in two hours into this.
[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_02]: But you know, I've already alluded that there's stuff in them pockets.
[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, but it's not.
[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not the pockets.
[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just not.
[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, that was a joke.
[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_02]: If you're thinking...
[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_02]: We're banking on that box.
[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Some of Maria's cooking.
[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I gotta get to that box.
[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_02]: You will be sad.
[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_02]: No jars of bean soup.
[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_02]: There is stuff in there.
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_03]: No blueberry oatmeal?
[00:13:54] No.
[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Sorry.
[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_03]: That was good.
[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_03]: For those of you who don't know, you go to Dave Jones house.
[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_03]: You've never eaten before in your whole life.
[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_02]: She's making food right now for you guys tomorrow.
[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.
[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, if we go on to phase three...
[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_02]: After phase two, you may not want to do phase three.
[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Phase two?
[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not even saying I might be passed out.
[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I should eat.
[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Phase two plus a meal, you're probably going to lose a lot of willpower.
[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be like...
[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm ready for home.
[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, right.
[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I need to recuperate.
[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Get home and God only knows what's waiting for you there.
[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_03]: So we're what?
[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_03]: We're two hours?
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_03]: No.
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Hour 45 out from launch.
[00:14:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Pretty much waiting for the sun to set.
[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_02]: We have to pre-position the cars.
[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, true.
[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_02]: This is a safety factor.
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And then...
[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_02]: And then...
[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I take you around.
[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess Dan should be last because he's got to tell me where to drop you guys.
[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_03]: What do you think?
[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_03]: You know the route is better than all of us.
[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, we just retro-noir them.
[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Yours is longer.
[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll ride...
[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll all ride together and drop you off first James.
[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Drop Ben off next and then I'll help Dave get to my drop off point.
[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And from there it's Gotham get out.
[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_00]: We're getting out.
[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_03]: All right, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_03]: This could be the last time you hear from me.
[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_03]: I salute you.
[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Awake.
[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Enjoy it.
[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be fun.
[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to be touching base too along the way.
[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_03]: So have fun.
[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_03]: We didn't really talk about the...
[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's solidify that real quick so the listeners know what to look for.
[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Do we want to do like a top of the hour, half hour, last quarter of hour?
[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_03]: We would like to touch base on the walk and sort of convey our suffering.
[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Or at least I will for sure.
[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's going to be impromptu.
[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be when we stop to have something to talk about.
[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's a good point too.
[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Because definitely...
[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, and Dave Jones has asked us to talk through the cash boxes.
[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, when you open it up, I would like to hear your thought process about what you find
[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_02]: and your reaction.
[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_02]: God damn it!
[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Dave, what the hell?
[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_02]: What kind of box?
[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_02]: A fork.
[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_00]: He's rubbing it in!
[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_00]: So we're on three different routes all intersecting at two different points where cash has been
[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_00]: laid.
[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_00]: They're just cardboard boxes with a bunch of stuff sitting in them.
[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And what about when we cross each other's paths?
[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I think what we ought to aim for is if one of us can actually sneak up on another
[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_00]: one of us without being detected, that should be some bonus points, shouldn't it Dave?
[00:16:48] [SPEAKER_02]: That sounds like auto win.
[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but do your paths cross all that much up until the end point?
[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Towards the end points and then we're all headed to the same finish line.
[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_00]: There is a potential to come across each other.
[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, let's say the first one there, you know, he hides.
[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And then as someone else comes up, they have to recognize or to see if they are the first
[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_02]: one.
[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a good call.
[00:17:18] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, and yeah, whoever surprises who.
[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_00]: But if we do happen to arrive at the same point, we're going to grab our box and separate.
[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_00]: We're not talking to each other because this is an individual event until we hit the finish
[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_00]: line.
[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to take our time at the finish line, report it to you Dave.
[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_00]: And then once all three of us are at the finish line, we're going to go into
[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_00]: the team event where we're just going to make it to the sunrise together.
[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And then tomorrow I'm going to come here, try to be here at six and evaluate your campsite
[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_02]: set up and everything that you did and made.
[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_02]: And I have some specific questions I want to ask because they have to do with.
[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, you'll see.
[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_02]: And then then we all pack up and go to my place for a phase three.
[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Fully clothed.
[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Well with your.
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Your.
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Do we have to maintain our thrift gear at your phase three?
[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I would think.
[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I guess that makes sense.
[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll get a warm up on the ride.
[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_02]: But you're going to be augmented with a couple things.
[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, OK.
[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And then you'll have specific.
[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_03]: It's one of flamethrower.
[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_03]: All right, folks.
[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, we'll be touching base soon.
[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Stay tuned.
[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Wish us all luck.
[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to need it tonight.
[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_03]: See ya.
