[00:00:03] You're listening here to PBN. You will pay us back the stability here.

[00:00:32] What strange goings on, PBN family? Friday. Friday in the afternoon, you find the commander here, uh, hungry, okay? It's been the, I mean, it's been the way for most of May. It's the 23rd, I mean, Ration of Ruin is almost complete. Hey, get a peek real quick at the beautiful, uh, the beautiful book cover behind you, right?

[00:01:00] Poems for Men, coming out Father's Day, be there. Fire Wolf Forge is in the chat, welcome my man. Listen, we're doing something very interesting today. It's not gonna be a super long show, but I'm gonna partake in something outlandishly good. Well, actually, I don't know if it's outlandishly good. It's, it's a little whited out. We're gonna bring up the website, so it's not a big deal.

[00:01:27] My buddy, what up, Born to Brat in the chat? My buddy Dan Gentry sent me this. It's from a company called Essential Provisions. It's their Field Fuel product line. Hey, Instagram, what's going on everybody over there? Andrew Health Fitness, you picked a good show, my man. Uh, you picked a real good show. If you've never heard of Essential Provisions, stay tuned, okay? Um, Alex, Francois, Free, what's up, guys? Welcome.

[00:01:56] I'm probably not gonna sit here and monitor that Instagram chat very much. You can come find us at YouTube, though. And, uh, X, and I can see the chat here in StreamYard pretty well. So, all transparency. This is my XMRE. So, for those of you guys who know what the hell time it is, um, what is, whoa. There's another dimension inside the MRE. See it? You see it popping through?

[00:02:24] Uh, I could get you the actual title, Firewolf, if you want to promote the book. Don't worry about that. I'll get you the actual cover. Um, it'll probably be out for pre-order this weekend, too, by the way. I just got a few things to button up. Um, but anyhow, today, we're digging into Essential Provisions. Like I said, my buddy Dan Gentry sent me a box of these things, okay? Look at the promo code down there. That's an astounding price.

[00:02:54] Now, what is this? What is the value of this thing? Why does this stand out? Why am I even bothering with this in the month of Ration of Ruin? What the folks at, uh, Essential Provisions have done. I'm sorry. My light, I had turned it on way too strong. I wanted to make sure that we were looking good on the packaging. But, uh, now it just looks like I'm, I'm, like, dripped from heaven. I turned it down a little bit.

[00:03:22] Um, so, Essential Provisions does meals ready to eat in a way that no one does meals ready to eat. Whether that's for camping, whether that's for hunting, whether that's for prepping, whether that's for guys who are starving to death, like myself. Um, it's weird because we're not starving to death. You know what I mean? Uh, I'm certainly not anywhere near starving to death. But I'm at a caloric deficit most days of the week.

[00:03:52] And it's having an effect. You know what I mean? It's definitely having an effect. We're going to talk about that on the Ration of Ruin report later. Probably tonight, maybe later. Not sure. Jay Ferg in the chat. What is up? Yeah, now I'm coming straight, coming to you straight from heaven. I'm not sure. I turned the light up so I could show off the product real good. And then I realized, you know what we ought to do instead of that. Instead of that, why don't we bring the website up? Because that'll be easier anyway.

[00:04:23] Because we got a great product here. Like I said, and it's taken me far too long to tell you what it is that they do and what it is that they do better than everybody else. And the best way for me to do it is to read you the ingredients list. I'll show you the ingredients list too. But they've got... You know, this might not be grass-fed bison. I might have been lying. But it says bison, filtered water.

[00:04:49] All of everything else I'm going to tell you, except for the beef bone broth and the pink Himalayan sea salt, has the word organic in front of it. Do with that what you will. Tomato paste, carrots, potatoes, beef collagen. Oh no, that doesn't. Hydrolyzed beef collagen. Onions, tomatoes, and tomato puree. Celery. Extra virgin olive oil. Potato starch. Maple syrup. Maple syrup is interesting. Garlic. I'm sorry.

[00:05:17] My mouth is watering like crazy right now. Salivating. You know what I mean? What do I want here? I want to share the screen. There we go. Smoked paprika, rosemary, onion powder. Okay, good enough. Delicious spices and herbs. Delicious bison. Delicious, deliciousness. It's spitting all over the place. I'm hungry. Oh my goodness. So this is the bison stew.

[00:05:48] And yeah, we're going to eat it right now with you guys. It's been here since the beginning of May. There's a chili. There's a stew. The whole nine yards. It's been here. And I've been like dying to try it. But since we've been on the ration ruin situation, I haven't been able to. So we're going in. Oh my God. By the way, each these bison stews have 43 grams of protein in them.

[00:06:18] I worked out way too hard yesterday. Yesterday, I felt like I was at the gym lifting heavy weights. I don't even remember what I had for breakfast if I ate breakfast. What was yesterday? Thursday. Yeah. So on almost nothing. And this morning, it feels like it. This morning, it's really rough. I hadn't gone to the gym and lifted heavy all month for fear of like what exactly I'm dealing

[00:06:47] with today or worse. You know, it's not like I'm going to run to the gym and work out on the weekend. Although I did do actually the day one, I did a pretty brutal workout with my wife. And I paid for it, man. I paid for it for sure. So the sauce is phenomenal. The sauce is all tomato based, right? It's dominated by... It is a little paprika dominated, but it's good.

[00:07:21] The vegetables are perfect. Carrots, potatoes. Cooked perfect. Seasoned well. I can definitely get the Himalayan salt. The beef, the bison is completely... Well, what is it? I didn't get another bite in there.

[00:07:44] If you make beef stew and the pieces don't come completely apart into like mush, you know what I mean? Like each... I can't really show you because it's... Everything's kind of covered in this delicious stew. Um... And I'm sorry for eating on the air. Like... That's what this is all about. That was a bison.

[00:08:13] My body is like attacking this stuff like you wouldn't believe. Because... What was on the menu for... Today... Was vegetarian taco... Pasta. That was my MRE for today for rationing the ruin. What I was supposed to eat today... And the guys at rationing the ruin are going to see this and be like, you cheating ass. What I was supposed to eat was my MRE of vegan taco pasta. Or vegetarian... I'm sorry.

[00:08:42] Vegetarian taco pasta. Which is... One of those things that has the strange... Veggie crumbles in it. And you have no clue how they take veggie and turn them into a crumble. Right? But people tell you like... It's good to eat vegetarian. And then they... And then you see something like a vegetarian crumble. And you're like... What do you gotta do to a... What do you gotta do to a soybean... To turn it into a crumble? Right?

[00:09:10] These are the people that yell at me about eating like a... Two cheeseburger meal from McDonald's. You shouldn't be eating that crap. Okay. Well, show me how... I mean, I have to imagine that the process from chicken to chicken nugget... Is pretty damn similar to the process of soybean... To vegetarian taco crumble. Right? Like, we're in the same kitchen. We're doing the same things. So, apparently they've got the bison chili as well. Essential provisions.

[00:09:40] And that's supposed to be a spicy one. I'm gonna eat and we'll look at their goodies. Which one was I on where I was nice and small? There we go. So, this way all you have to do is endure the feasting. See, and they have... They do have actual vegetarian options. Like lentil stew. Which I'm sure is delicious. This thing is unbelievable. Now... The kicker is, of course, that these cost a lot more than your MRE.

[00:10:10] These are not the kind of food, unless you've got big pockets... To store long-term for your whole entire family. Right? See, here goes the bison chili. $15.95 for one. It's expensive. But it's ready to eat. Sorry. That was a mouthful of delicious. That was a mouthful of delicious. The chili is 60 grams of protein.

[00:10:41] 60 grams. 60 grams. Holy moly. That's like as much as the... Literal whey protein I've been using all month. 60 grams, I think, for two scoops. That's a lot. That's a lot. The bison chili. Tremendous. They say it's nice and spicy. I was gonna eat that today instead. I'd probably prefer that. But I couldn't do it without my kid. My kid would have been mad at me. He likes spicy stuff.

[00:11:11] And he likes to try all this survival food with me. I actually was down in MRE for this Ration of Ruin challenge. Which is why I'm not feeling too bad about this. I was down in MRE because when I came home from meeting at Dave Jones' house. Gathering all the survival food. He's like, I want to try an MRE now. What are you going to say to that? You know what I mean? So, when you... This is why these guys are top tier.

[00:11:40] You can look at what they're working with. Right? 100% grass-fed finished beef bone broth. Filtered water. Am I missing the main ingredient here? 100% grass-fed finished bison. So, this is not mountain house. You know what I mean? This is definitely not ready hour. Right? This is not XMRE food. This is food that is for performance.

[00:12:05] I mean, when I look at these guys, when I eat something like this, I think about performance. I think about what I want to eat after a workout. What I want to eat on a day like today when I'm recovering from a workout. This was packed up. This package right here was literally packed up in my workout bag yesterday. Because I was going to make this thing happen. I was planning on making this happen. Where's my screen at? With the little mini.

[00:12:36] Gone? There we go. Yeah, I was going to make this happen after the workout. I was thinking, let's do it after the workout and that kind of thing. So, the company, again, Essential Provisions. If you use the promo code down below, then you can get 20% off these guys, the lentils. Oh, you know what? They have other stuff too. They've got these really cool. I got to show you these. I got to shrink down again. Sorry.

[00:13:07] Why is my chat going crazy? I got to show you the cool little energy shots they got. They're cool. You know, energy is one of those things that you think about, but when you're starving, you think about it a lot more. Meal ready to eat. Bison stew. Lentil chili. Where's the full shebang bang? Promo code PBN20. Get 20% off.

[00:13:34] Like I said, there's a good chance you... Oh, sports nutrition. I'm so dumb. Sports nutrition. Here you go. So, sustained energy, chocolate, orange, ginger, salted almond, vanilla, and raspberry mint. Mint, what would I buy? You guys want to guess? Out of those three flavors, which one does the commander purchase? There is one that stands out. I'll see if you can figure it out.

[00:14:03] You know, funny enough, I love mint, but I'm not a big fan of mint in things. I would go with the salted almond, vanilla. That sounds amazing. These guys are really cool. I don't know if I have these. We'll eat all this stuff together if you want. I don't care. Nutrient dense, condensed, best for military ration, sports nutrition, disaster relief, emergency preparedness. These guys are $6 a pop.

[00:14:32] A little more affordable, right? Coconut water powder, coconut milk powder, chia seeds, maple syrup, Madagascar bourbon, vanilla extract. For those of you who don't know, Madagascar and vanilla, it's the best there is. You know what I mean? On the planet. Organic dried coffee berry, Himalayan sea salt, coconut MCT oil, almond butter. These things are packed. I mean, they're absolutely packed with incredible ingredients for your body.

[00:15:02] This really is like... What's exciting is this is kind of like the nexus of prepper fit and health for me. You know what I mean? It really... It's like the nexus of prepper fit and health. It's like where it all meets. Because, again, I wouldn't store a year's worth... I couldn't imagine... I'd have to take a loan out to store a year's worth of field fuel.

[00:15:28] But after going through Ration of Ruin, if I were able to put some of these on the shelf... Because like I was telling everybody in the first Ration of Ruin report, protein is going to be your biggest challenge. Once you start working through emergency food in a disaster, you're going to be like, Oh, what I really need is more protein. If you're not growing it outside, if you don't have chickens clucking around outside quail... I moved the quail, by the way.

[00:15:56] I moved the quail to a stationary location. And I can't tell you how happier I am now that the quail are in a stationary location. I was physically moving the quail every day, man. And it was kind of a nightmare. What's up, Rogue Crew? Jeremy? Chris? Chris, your last name? Chris Kuretzel? Kertzel? Chris Kertzel's last name. Kertzel.

[00:16:25] K-U-E-R-Z-E-L. Reminds me of some kind of thing that you would eat at Christmas time... ...that would be filled with raspberry puree and taste like heaven. That's right. No idea how things like that pop into my head. But that's what I get from Chris Kertzel. Eccentric... I don't know. When you guys get too cute with the Instagram names, I gotta go away. Okay? Sorry. But I appreciate you. Thanks for tuning in.

[00:16:53] We're eating grass-fed hardy bison stew by Essential Provisions. We're talking about their awesome sustained energy blends. Talking about how this is really like the nexus of our series, Prepper Fit and Health, and Food to Match. I got a bunch of these, man. I really want to thank the guys at Essential Provisions. Dan Gentry for working with me. Don't forget to use the promo code PBN20 if you like what you're seeing. I'm telling you right now, like...

[00:17:24] You use promo code PBN20. Okay? You get 20% off your Essential Provisions bison stew. You put it in your lunch bag. You don't have to heat this up. I mean, look. If you're picky and whiny, heat it up in the microwave or something like that at work. But you don't have to heat this up. And it's phenomenal.

[00:17:47] Not only is it delicious, it's a completely organic, grass-fed Himalayan sea salt and so forth, right? What was the other one that got me excited? Oh, this beef bone broth in the stew itself, right? As the, like, broth of the stew. 20% off gives you, what? Three bucks or something like that off. Somewhere along that. I don't know. I'm bad with math.

[00:18:13] I guarantee you, if you go to a fast food restaurant and do it right for lunch. Like, if you're thinking, like, I can't eat field fuel. That's too expensive. You go to Chick-fil-A, you get yourself, you know, the deluxe grilled chicken sandwich because you feel like you're being healthy. Fries, large drink, or maybe even, like, a milkshake. Like, dude, we're spending the exact same amount of money.

[00:18:41] Literally spending the exact same amount of money. Instead, you bring the grass-fed bison stew or the grass-fed bison chili to work. Bottle of water. Maybe, maybe if you work, work. Maybe a liquid IV to go in that water. Dude, you're going to be feeling good, man. And then maybe you hit one of these, you hit one of these sustained energies on the way back into, after your lunch break.

[00:19:11] Because this guy's 12 ounces, 370 calories, 28 carb, and like I said, 43 grams of protein. I mean, what you're getting out of the grass-fed bison for your life, like, for your daily nutrition. 3.5 grams of iron. Eat it out in the sun, you'll get your vitamin D right. 900 milligrams of potassium. Look, when you eat meat, it's just, you know what I mean?

[00:19:41] When you eat really good meat, grass-fed meat, it's lived outside. You know what I mean? It's lived a life. You can't beat that stuff, man. So, what I want you to take away from this, and the price is, you're spending it on food anyway. You know what I mean? If you're eating out, if you're like, oh, me and Nicole are going to go to Panera. Dude, you're going to spend 15 bucks. It's easy, right? Oh, we're going to go run over to the cafe. We're going to run over to the whatever.

[00:20:10] We're going to do the whatever. You're going to spend the money. There's no doubt about it. So, I don't know. Think it over. You know? Oh, my good God, man. I'll tell you what. Oh, let's see. Jay Ferg asked if there's soy in it. I didn't see anything that's soy. I'm telling you, there is... There's next to nothing in terms of additives in this thing. What I read out is what's in it.

[00:20:38] The only weird ingredient, and it's not really that weird, it's hydrolyzed beef collagen. Everything else is an actual ingredient. Yeah, that's it. Dairy-free, gluten-free, preservative-free, phthalate-free, three-year shelf life, BPA-free. It doesn't actually say soy-free. But we could find out.

[00:21:08] You know, Jor-8, I got beef jerky actually salting in the fridge. Welcome, though. It's good to see you, man. Jor-8 thought I was like Nosferatu last time I popped on my Portuguese brother over there. He's living the high life out in that sun.

[00:21:34] Firewolf Forge, yeah, these are the ones with the caffeine, the sustained energy blend. They got coffee... Let me show you the description if you can see it. They got coffee... Coffee berry in it. MCT oil. Yeah, the whole nine. I'm looking for what gives you energy. They got the beef collagen in them, too. You ladies are on that collagen all the time.

[00:22:02] Lowell, always looking to have food options that won't kill me. That's a plus. My phone is ringing. And that's my wife's ringtone. All right. Essential provisions, folks. I actually do have to go pick my son up. So it's time for me to go. Maybe that's a reminder. Oh, look. I'm vaporizing back to heaven. As if I deserve to be there. All right, guys. I appreciate you. Don't forget promo code PBN20.

[00:22:32] The website is essentialprovisions.com. Look for the ration of ruin report either tonight or tomorrow. We might have issues with it. Getting it together tonight. We're trying. It might be out tonight. What else? I don't know. That's good enough. Thanks for enduring me. Thanks for I don't know what the hell hydrolyzed beef collagen is, but I'm sure the women use the beef collagen and stuff all the time for, you know, the collagen in the skin and all that kind of stuff. I don't look it up.

[00:23:01] Anyway, I got to hit the road. Thank you guys for everything. Talk to you soon. See you. Bye. Bye. Bye.
