[00:00:05] You're listening here to PBN. Your path back to stability here.

[00:00:55] Is that you're taking time to praise God in these holy days.

[00:01:03] Early in the morning, late at night, I find it a good time to look up to the stars and slow everything down.

[00:01:11] And tell yourself, hey, J. Ferg, what is up?

[00:01:13] And tell yourself, wow, I'm here.

[00:01:17] I'm here. I'm lucky to be here. I'm blessed to be here.

[00:01:20] I get this chance at life.

[00:01:24] And, you know, don't forget that's what these days are all about, man.

[00:01:28] That's what these days are all about.

[00:01:29] You forget that, it's trouble.

[00:01:33] So what the hell is going on in Syria?

[00:01:37] What is our obsession with destabilization?

[00:01:42] Answer is the government media.

[00:01:44] No, I'm sorry.

[00:01:46] The industrial, military-industrial complex is our obsession with destabilization.

[00:01:53] We love to do some destabilizing of governments because then we get a bunch of terrorist groups to roll in.

[00:02:02] They can make life hell for a little while.

[00:02:04] Then we get to roll in and tamp them down.

[00:02:06] And it's a vicious cycle, right?

[00:02:09] And what I see is, what I see happening over there, it's sort of the same old story, right?

[00:02:18] Who's behind it?

[00:02:19] You know who's behind it, right?

[00:02:21] You know what's going on.

[00:02:22] White House, there's a headline, White House races to stabilize Syria.

[00:02:32] Syria, who is a Russian ally.

[00:02:38] What do you, I mean, really?

[00:02:40] Do you think that, oh, it's just happenstance that they've decided to, you know, foist all this chaos on the nation?

[00:02:52] And these rebel groups, they were taken into a back room somewhere, in an embassy somewhere, and somewhere.

[00:02:57] And they were told by the U.S. operatives, move on these targets.

[00:03:03] We'll make sure you have the intel you need.

[00:03:05] We'll make sure you have some weapons, probably, and all that.

[00:03:08] I mean, this is how it goes, you know?

[00:03:12] You look back at Saddam, you look back at Gaddafi, and you understand that once they're marked, they're marked.

[00:03:23] You know what I mean?

[00:03:24] And there's a price to be paid.

[00:03:27] I told you with Putin, and it's the same thing with Syria, and it's the same thing with any country.

[00:03:35] You have to understand sort of the gang mentality of the United States.

[00:03:41] And I'm not even really, I don't really oppose it very much because if we're not the strongest and the baddest on the planet, then someone else will be.

[00:03:53] But I told you, I mean, years ago now, like this whole BRICS idea, this idea that they're going to create a BRICS,

[00:04:00] and they're going to do, you know, currency and trade outside of the U.S. dollar.

[00:04:07] It's all good and well.

[00:04:09] It's time to depress the disaster coffee here.

[00:04:15] It's all good and well to do your little BRICS thing.

[00:04:19] But there's a trend that you have to understand.

[00:04:24] When you decide that you're not going to use the U.S. dollar anymore, and you make it clear to the world, and you take steps, usually you die.

[00:04:43] That's typically how it goes, right?

[00:04:47] Give me one sec.

[00:04:48] Why am I checking my phone on?

[00:04:50] And I know the email is nonsense in the morning.

[00:04:56] But typically you die.

[00:04:57] That's how that story goes.

[00:04:58] You know what I mean?

[00:04:59] It's like, well, guess what?

[00:05:02] Guess what, U.S.?

[00:05:03] We're going to stick it to you.

[00:05:04] We're going to create our little BRICS coalition, and we're going to trade in yen or yuan, however you say it.

[00:05:13] And, you know, it's done then.

[00:05:18] Then it's done.

[00:05:19] Gaddafi.

[00:05:20] There's a list of people whose either economies have collapsed.

[00:05:24] Venezuela is always a good one.

[00:05:26] You like it, Jay Ferg?

[00:05:27] It may be like this for a while.

[00:05:28] I might do it even earlier.

[00:05:30] I may do it even earlier.

[00:05:32] I don't know.

[00:05:33] I have this window like this.

[00:05:35] I have this window like this right now because the youngest is sick.

[00:05:41] The oldest is off to school.

[00:05:43] The wife took him.

[00:05:44] She'll be back.

[00:05:45] I'll probably leave to go work at the cafe.

[00:05:51] And so I got this little window.

[00:05:53] You know what I mean?

[00:05:54] And pretty soon the boys will be on break.

[00:05:56] The wife will be on holiday for Christmas and all that.

[00:06:00] I'll still be doing shows.

[00:06:02] So I may.

[00:06:03] I may make this thing like 6 a.m.

[00:06:06] I know you're up super early, Jay Ferg.

[00:06:07] You're like me.

[00:06:09] You know?

[00:06:11] You're like me.

[00:06:12] We can't sleep.

[00:06:13] I was up 3.50 in the morning.

[00:06:15] 3.50.

[00:06:17] Like popped up.

[00:06:20] And debated.

[00:06:21] Oh, you want to see a cool cup?

[00:06:24] We're into this era.

[00:06:26] You guys drink Disaster Coffee?

[00:06:28] DisasterCoffee.com?

[00:06:29] It's time for me to promote my business, DisasterCoffee.com.

[00:06:32] I've been wildly quiet about it because I've been busy promoting other things, you know?

[00:06:38] These cups I bought.

[00:06:41] No, I think my wife bought these for me actually at a yard sale.

[00:06:44] So they came in a three-cup set.

[00:06:48] And we are such psychos that the Christmas thing is insane.

[00:06:58] None of it's on right now.

[00:07:00] I turn it to you.

[00:07:01] But I've created like this whole schedule where in the early days of December, late days, around Thanksgiving, I drink out of the gingerbread cup.

[00:07:14] And then as we get closer, I do the house and the decorated wreath cup.

[00:07:19] And there's several other coffee cups too that are Christmas related.

[00:07:24] Coffee drinking in Christmastime is just...

[00:07:28] At DisasterCoffee.com, we have an amazing coffee called The Christmas Hook, named after my book of the same name.

[00:07:36] And it's a gift tag.

[00:07:40] It's a gift tag.

[00:07:41] You know what?

[00:07:41] Let me show you the coffee.

[00:07:44] Let's get off the BRICS nations people who are all going to fall and demise and the whole nine yards, right?

[00:07:51] It just is what it is, guys.

[00:07:52] You know, it's an old story.

[00:07:54] It's just an old story.

[00:07:55] That's all.

[00:07:57] It's an old story.

[00:07:59] You think that people get away with things when they try to bash your nation and they try to destroy the economic engine that is the United States.

[00:08:08] But there's a lot of money to be made, folks.

[00:08:11] And I'm telling you right now, you do the wrong things, you make the wrong removes with the United States, and it's your ass.

[00:08:23] Cheers.

[00:08:24] Because it could be the other way around.

[00:08:26] Or someone else could hold that power.

[00:08:27] We hold that power.

[00:08:32] Disasters suck, but disasters without coffee suck more.

[00:08:37] If there were ever a more Andrew Bobo introduction to a website, right?

[00:08:44] My business partner, Bobo, hits the nail on the head.

[00:08:49] We will talk.

[00:08:52] Yeah, let's talk about this Christmas.

[00:08:54] It is the holiday season, and that's what I called it.

[00:08:56] It's the holiday season.

[00:08:57] We can get away with talking about some goodies.

[00:08:59] So you see this beauty right here?

[00:09:02] Those of you who don't know, your intrepid commander has a little bit of a knack for graphic design.

[00:09:09] I probably could have made a living in graphic design.

[00:09:12] Well, in some senses, I do.

[00:09:13] But what we've done with this amazing Christmas blend here is given you the ultimate coffee gift because you had the ability to utilize the to and from Christmas tag, the gift tag here on this.

[00:09:29] It's also awesome.

[00:09:30] It's amazing coffee.

[00:09:33] Jay Berg says sleep has been fit for the last few nights.

[00:09:36] Strange dreams.

[00:09:38] Yeah.

[00:09:40] There's something going on in the energies of the world.

[00:09:45] I think, in all honesty, I think it's the sun.

[00:09:50] I really do.

[00:09:53] It could be a myriad of things.

[00:10:01] This is added.

[00:10:02] This has to be.

[00:10:03] I didn't.

[00:10:03] I did not write this.

[00:10:05] This has to be.

[00:10:05] Did I write this?

[00:10:07] This is our festive coffee blend from Central South America.

[00:10:11] Who the hell wrote this?

[00:10:13] The bottom of the description of this coffee seems more like it was written by an Andrew or a Phil.

[00:10:23] We highly recommend Christmas Hook storybook that this coffee is named after.

[00:10:28] Medium dark.

[00:10:29] Read as you drink the Christmas Hook by James Walton.

[00:10:32] Yeah, that makes sense.

[00:10:33] But who wrote plus 10 jolliness if you add cookies?

[00:10:37] See, sometimes I get in these wacky moods where I would write something silly like that.

[00:10:43] Plus 10 jolliness.

[00:10:45] So it's hard to tell.

[00:10:46] But that doesn't read like me very much.

[00:10:50] So if you guys are interested.

[00:10:54] What the hell?

[00:10:56] The book is not up here anymore.

[00:10:58] There it is.

[00:11:00] So if you guys are interested.

[00:11:04] You can get this.

[00:11:05] Also get this at.

[00:11:08] Disastercoffee.com

[00:11:11] And this is my Christmas story, man.

[00:11:13] But the cool thing about this version.

[00:11:14] You can get the Christmas hook at Amazon.

[00:11:17] I had a free reading section.

[00:11:19] Or a free reading promo.

[00:11:21] For like all through Thanksgiving.

[00:11:24] If you read.

[00:11:26] The Christmas catalog.

[00:11:28] The holiday catalog.

[00:11:29] You would see that.

[00:11:31] But this is a 90s Christmas tale.

[00:11:35] About dreams.

[00:11:36] Actually.

[00:11:37] A lot about dreams.

[00:11:38] Creepy dreams.

[00:11:39] Just like Jay Fergus talking about.

[00:11:42] But what's special about this one is.

[00:11:45] It was illustrated by somebody.

[00:11:48] An artist from around my way.

[00:11:50] From around the way.

[00:11:52] And it's a good time.

[00:11:54] It's a good read.

[00:11:54] I'm trying to pump out this new book for you guys.

[00:11:58] I really am.

[00:11:59] It's not been easy.

[00:12:00] Today might be the day actually.

[00:12:02] Today might be the day.

[00:12:03] The slate's a little bit clear for a change.

[00:12:05] And today might be the day.

[00:12:06] I finish.

[00:12:07] Let your heart be light.

[00:12:09] It'll give me all week to edit it.

[00:12:10] I can get it to you by next week.

[00:12:13] It's an amazing tale, man.

[00:12:15] It really is.

[00:12:16] It's fun.

[00:12:16] It's been such a fun book to write.

[00:12:20] Not everything has to be about warfare.

[00:12:27] The fact that World War III is happening.

[00:12:29] And we're all pretending like it's not.

[00:12:33] It doesn't have to be about all that.

[00:12:35] It doesn't have to be about prepping.

[00:12:36] Though I will say.

[00:12:37] Now is the time to be smart.

[00:12:40] Giant kettlebells.

[00:12:45] Camping stoves.

[00:12:47] These are kinds of things that I ask for for Christmas.

[00:12:50] You know?

[00:12:51] So you may want to ask Santa for some big preps.

[00:12:54] I don't know.

[00:12:54] That might be a good angle for you.

[00:12:56] You might be Santa.

[00:12:57] I don't know.

[00:12:58] So.

[00:13:00] But it's a good time to ask Santa for.

[00:13:03] You know?

[00:13:04] One of those things that you.

[00:13:07] Don't want to drop big cash on.

[00:13:09] But it might make sense as a one and only gift.

[00:13:12] So what I'm drinking right now.

[00:13:14] This is important.

[00:13:15] This is a self-reliance topic.

[00:13:17] And then maybe we'll wrap it up.

[00:13:18] But I don't know how much time I have before my wife and three pit bulls come running.

[00:13:22] Or two pit bulls and a French bulldog come running through the door.

[00:13:28] Right now what I'm drinking is the bunker beans.

[00:13:32] Okay?

[00:13:33] Phil Rabelais, my business partner, is basically the expert of the group in terms of roasting coffee.

[00:13:40] And roasting coffee, grinding coffee, brewing coffee.

[00:13:49] You keep the bunker beans on hand.

[00:13:51] You store them in mylar bags because they last long-term.

[00:13:54] Oxygen absorber.

[00:13:55] Just like food storage.

[00:13:56] You know what I mean?

[00:14:00] To roast them.

[00:14:01] I roast mine in the oven.

[00:14:03] In a sheet pan.

[00:14:04] I started roasting them in a mesh pan.

[00:14:07] Or like an air fryer basket cookie sheet kind of thing.

[00:14:12] And it's perfect because the heat hits them all over.

[00:14:14] I have a convection oven too.

[00:14:16] So the convection problem.

[00:14:17] You know what I mean?

[00:14:20] It's really been great.

[00:14:21] It's easy.

[00:14:23] You can get them as dark as you like your roast.

[00:14:26] Just bring up, you know, like different roasted coffees in images.

[00:14:31] And you'll be able to look at the color of the coffee bean that you like.

[00:14:35] And you roast it yourself.

[00:14:36] And you're going to suck at it at first.

[00:14:38] You know what I mean?

[00:14:39] But once you get good at it, I drank.

[00:14:43] I like to go back and forth between my coffee and other coffee.

[00:14:47] And my wife bought me a bag of Dunkin' Donuts breakfast or something like that.

[00:14:52] And I drank that the last couple weeks.

[00:14:54] And I didn't drink any disaster coffee.

[00:14:56] And then I woke up today.

[00:14:58] And I brought down my little, like I have a screw top Tupperware that has roasted beans.

[00:15:04] These bunker beans that I've roasted myself.

[00:15:07] And I got a hand grind.

[00:15:10] You know what I mean?

[00:15:12] Five in the morning.

[00:15:14] Five in the morning grinding.

[00:15:18] And I made this cup of coffee.

[00:15:20] This is my second one.

[00:15:21] But I made a cup of coffee this morning.

[00:15:22] And when I tasted it, the difference just knocked me off my feet.

[00:15:29] You know what I mean?

[00:15:30] And it was like, I got to talk about disaster coffee today.

[00:15:36] It's one of those things that's so good, it's sad.

[00:15:38] It reminds me of, it reminds me of me.

[00:15:43] What's that from?

[00:15:45] It's one of those things, you know, that's just consistently, it's consistently on point.

[00:15:54] So you take it for granted.

[00:15:56] Fundamentally.

[00:15:58] I take it for granted.

[00:16:00] You know?

[00:16:01] It's like I know if I order a bag of my favorite tsunami.

[00:16:04] When I order bags of the Christmas hook.

[00:16:08] It's going to be amazing.

[00:16:10] It's always amazing.

[00:16:11] It's always incredibly fresh.

[00:16:14] It's diabolical.

[00:16:16] And it's worked for years that way.

[00:16:19] It's proven.

[00:16:20] You know what I mean?

[00:16:21] And the sad thing about human nature, man, is when things work effectively like that for years and years.

[00:16:29] What do we do?

[00:16:31] We forget about it.

[00:16:34] We take it for granted.

[00:16:35] You know what I mean?

[00:16:36] This is what it is.

[00:16:37] It's human nature.

[00:16:38] It can't do anything.

[00:16:39] So visit disastercoffee.com, man.

[00:16:42] Get yourself some deliciousness.

[00:16:44] We have really funny stuff over there, too.

[00:16:46] You know, we do.

[00:16:47] We try to have a good time with our coffees.

[00:16:49] Here's our medium roast selection.

[00:16:52] Uncle Randy's Porch is our newest one here.

[00:16:54] This medium roast.

[00:16:56] Out of Mexico.

[00:16:58] The F5 is amazing.

[00:17:01] It's a serious coffee.

[00:17:03] Ethiopian Sadama.

[00:17:06] Yeah.

[00:17:07] We name them after disasters.

[00:17:08] We name them after other stuff.

[00:17:10] This is a premium coffee here.

[00:17:12] It probably needs a price raise, to be honest.

[00:17:13] I know that looks expensive.

[00:17:14] But this is Uganda Sippy Falls is basically best coffee in the world.

[00:17:19] Best coffee growing region in the world.

[00:17:22] Uganda Sippy Falls.

[00:17:23] So the Great Reset's tremendous coffee.

[00:17:26] Tsunami's my personal favorite.

[00:17:29] The Uprising.

[00:17:30] The Bourbon Barrel Aged Uprising.

[00:17:32] I don't drink it except on the 4th.

[00:17:37] That's my treat on the 4th.

[00:17:39] The Civil Unrest ain't bad.

[00:17:41] Supply Drop is the classic.

[00:17:43] I mean, it's, you know, if you want to start with something, start with Supply Drop because

[00:17:47] it's so good.

[00:17:50] I'll give you a look at the dark roasts, too.

[00:17:53] You can do this yourself, but I'm having fun.

[00:17:54] I don't care.

[00:17:56] Our biggest seller year over year is Pandemic.

[00:17:59] This is a six-bean espresso blend.

[00:18:02] Amazing coffee, really.

[00:18:04] Category 6 is a great coffee, too.

[00:18:06] This is the first time I had a single origin, right?

[00:18:11] The cool thing about Category 6 is it's a single origin out of the oldest place in the world.

[00:18:18] Right?

[00:18:19] Sumatra, Sumeria.

[00:18:21] Like, these areas are ancient.

[00:18:23] And I always imagine, like, the first goat herders drinking this coffee out of Sumatra.

[00:18:30] Plus, it's an interesting taste.

[00:18:33] Category 6 was one of those coffees I tasted the first time, and I was like, wow.

[00:18:37] What is this?

[00:18:39] Is this coffee?

[00:18:40] Not, like, blow your mind away incredibly the best coffee, but definitely unique, you know?

[00:18:47] And new this year.

[00:18:49] New this year.

[00:18:50] I have to get a bag of this to the Phoenix.

[00:18:55] We're doing tea now.

[00:18:57] We have our EMP tea.

[00:19:00] EMP tea.

[00:19:02] Jasmine green.

[00:19:03] And they're all artisan loose-leaf teas.

[00:19:06] They're amazing.

[00:19:08] Unbelievable.

[00:19:09] The Earl Grey is top-notch, man.

[00:19:12] We call that the gray man.

[00:19:14] Disaster Coffee.

[00:19:15] It's been around since 2020.

[00:19:16] What can I say?

[00:19:17] It's great.

[00:19:18] It's a great little company I started years ago because no one would sponsor my network.

[00:19:23] No one will sponsor my podcast network.

[00:19:25] You hear people all the time talk about that.

[00:19:28] It's hard.

[00:19:28] It's not easy to get sponsors.

[00:19:30] It takes many things.

[00:19:31] You know?

[00:19:32] It doesn't even just take an audience.

[00:19:34] We have a sizable audience.

[00:19:35] Hey, Hunter.

[00:19:36] I didn't even see you in there, man.

[00:19:38] What's up?

[00:19:38] How did I miss you?

[00:19:41] Wait.

[00:19:42] What?

[00:19:43] Hunter's.

[00:19:44] Where are you at?

[00:19:47] Hunter SF says, good morning, senor.

[00:19:50] For some reason, his comment.

[00:19:55] Oh, this is an old comment.

[00:19:56] It's got to be.

[00:19:58] Maybe not.

[00:19:59] And this comment pops up.

[00:20:01] It says 8.35 p.m.

[00:20:04] But it says good morning, senor, from X.

[00:20:08] The StreamYard comment thing is a little wacky.

[00:20:11] I've seen this happen before.

[00:20:14] What else, folks?

[00:20:16] I don't know.

[00:20:16] I don't want to get into anything too deep.

[00:20:17] We're 20 minutes in.

[00:20:20] We talked coffee.

[00:20:21] We did a little good.

[00:20:22] We did a little coffee talk.

[00:20:25] No big whoop.

[00:20:27] My day is looking great.

[00:20:31] And I hope yours is, too.

[00:20:33] I get my son back to full health and life is, we're ready to pile into Christmas time.

[00:20:38] Well, we're already piled in.

[00:20:39] You piled in?

[00:20:40] You doing anything?

[00:20:42] A sound investment if you really want to enjoy the holiday.

[00:20:47] A couple years ago.

[00:20:50] Might have been at the Christmas Bazaar, actually.

[00:20:54] But a couple of years ago, I bought this big wooden plaque thing.

[00:20:59] Looks almost like a giant wooden gift tag with a rope through the top that you hang on the wall.

[00:21:06] And it's basically 25 items to do for the Christmas season.

[00:21:12] Like an advent to-do list type of deal.

[00:21:15] Do one every day.

[00:21:18] And we don't do them every day.

[00:21:20] And we start them early.

[00:21:22] But I'll tell you what.

[00:21:24] It's a different kind of year when you knock everything off the list.

[00:21:27] Even the trivial stuff.

[00:21:28] Baking cookies together.

[00:21:30] Gingerbread houses.

[00:21:32] Sledding.

[00:21:33] You know what I mean?

[00:21:34] This kind of weird, silly stuff that you don't even think would make that big a difference.

[00:21:40] But it, you know, nothing's trivial.

[00:21:43] PBN family.

[00:21:44] Every little thing is a thing.

[00:21:47] You know what I mean?

[00:21:48] Every little thing is a thing.

[00:21:49] There's no denying it.

[00:21:52] So, you know, let your heart be light this holiday season.

[00:21:55] It's true.

[00:21:55] It's chaos.

[00:21:56] I mean, there's wars.

[00:21:58] World War III is upon us.

[00:22:00] Like, Donald Trump's going to come in.

[00:22:02] And he's probably going to have to do some smashing, in my estimation.

[00:22:07] I mean, it looks to me like he's going to have to come in and show the heavy hand of the United States military in order to get these people to calm down.

[00:22:15] Maybe not.

[00:22:15] Maybe not.

[00:22:17] But the way strategy looks to be going right now, it doesn't seem to me that anybody's really ready to stop killing each other yet.

[00:22:26] Now, they may be just saying, let's get all the killing in we can because, you know, time's running out.

[00:22:31] Daddy's almost home.

[00:22:36] Yeah.

[00:22:38] I've got a big self-reliance piece coming for the members.

[00:22:43] You guys are going to enjoy it.

[00:22:44] It's about making things and, you know, the real meaning of self-sufficiency on the day-to-day.

[00:22:52] I did another day-to-day piece last week, too, which was all about my top five preps of all time.

[00:22:59] I started sitting there, you know, thinking, like, what are my top five preps of all time?

[00:23:04] The big, the real difference makers.

[00:23:07] And that list turned out nothing like I or you would ever have thought.

[00:23:12] Really, it was a very weird list.

[00:23:14] It really didn't turn out the way I thought it would turn out.

[00:23:17] Very surprising.

[00:23:18] But, you know, life is surprising.

[00:23:22] Right?

[00:23:23] So stay on your grind, folks.

[00:23:26] Okay?

[00:23:26] Keep pushing.

[00:23:28] Keep making more than you are taking.

[00:23:32] Keep taking on those projects, learning new skills, reading new books, so on and so forth.

[00:23:37] Because it's not just about, this whole journey is not just about, oh, my God, the sky is falling and I have to be ready.

[00:23:45] Like, this journey is about quality of life.

[00:23:49] It's about quality of life.

[00:23:53] And self-reliance and independence is, in my opinion, the best quality of life enhancer there is.

[00:24:00] You know what I mean?

[00:24:03] So I think that's it for me.

[00:24:05] I do appreciate you guys.

[00:24:07] Enjoy the rest of your day.
