Its the Villian, Stupid! I AM Liberty

[00:00:00] You're listening here to PBN.

[00:00:07] Your path back to stability here. stupid welcome in PB and family to the I'm Liberty show this entire show is comes from a play on words a phrase created by James Carville during the Clinton HW election season and he coined several phrases but one of the phrases

[00:01:44] that he is noted and you probably whatever it is because I need the voice

[00:03:05] of the people. I miss the voice of the people. Talk radio kind of sucks around 804-767-7171, 804-767-7171. The reason we're opening all this up tonight is because we're talking about something that's, you know, it just is what it is. It has really nothing at all to do with prepping

[00:04:21] and has everything to do with the floundering movie industry.

[00:04:25] Now you have to understand your host,

[00:04:27] your intrepid commander,

[00:05:27] There's just no way Disney could come close to making something like this anymore. And that's just, you know, that's just the reality of it.

[00:05:30] Really, I'll tell you what it was.

[00:05:32] The straw that broke the camel's back, and the reason I'm doing this show fundamentally,

[00:05:40] was the Madam Web Movie.

[00:05:43] Now many of you probably don't even know what was Madam Webb, Julia Cornwall, Isabelle A. Anya, who was who? There were three separate Spider Ladies. One of them was like a black suited Venom, the other one was, and the bad of the villain. It has no concept of the villain, right? It has no idea that the villain is the most important part of any movie. And believe you me, the villain is the most important part of any movie.

[00:08:24] If you look at any new movie that's coming and a new villain is announced, all of us dorks go like, oh yeah, Kang the Conqueror, of course.

[00:09:42] I know him.

[00:09:43] But really, most of us don't know shit.

[00:09:46] I'm still waiting on Doctor Doom.

[00:09:48] But nobody knew who Kang the villain. Stupid. So what I thought I'd do tonight, and I asked the PBN family to help out with it, after we get through our run of ads, I wanted to just talk about some of the great villains that have made movies what they are.

[00:11:02] I wanted to go through some lists of top. I already know it. Number one. Who's the villain? The villain is such a side story character. You've never heard of him.

[00:13:25] I don't know. I don't know. I watched that over my sister's house and it was a lot of that stuff, a lot of that same stuff.

[00:13:29] Anyhow,

[00:13:31] my cry to Hollywood,

[00:13:35] wake up, not woke up.

[00:13:40] You're not putting out movies with good villains, therefore nobody gives a shit about your movies.

[00:13:43] You're not even putting out movies with good heroes anymore.

[00:15:00] Therefore nobody cares, okay?

[00:15:05] If you're in the city, if you're in the my wife and and decided honey baby please you can't live on gummy bears and pretzels alone my dear not with me. So you know we broadened their horizons tremendously.

[00:17:24] protein is one of those preps that feels good when you put it on your shelf. You put it on your shelf and you say to yourself like, oh,

[00:17:27] I've just added a whole nother category of protein to my food plan.

[00:17:33] And we talked about our food security network.

[00:17:35] Well, not many of you came, but the members were there.

[00:17:42] If you weren't a member, you might not know it, but we did an hour and a half on

[00:17:46] building your food security network.

[00:18:45] Survival food or whatever the situation is I still got the say grace up on the shelf shelf stable You can mix it in with your rice like I do and then

[00:18:49] You know mylar bag it up. They even sell five pound bags now

[00:18:54] Over at their website five pound mylar bags with five gallon buck. I'm sorry five pound bags of protein

[00:19:01] dehydrated a

[00:19:03] Five gallon bucket a five gallon mylar bag bucket oxygen absorbers all this comes with the order Okay Say grace protein check them out now the other product that demands your attention is the eye target Pro I Mean the eye target is right here to the right of me. I posted something up on Instagram about it today. I Mean it's a game changer

[00:20:21] I'll just with this one will be short and sweet

[00:21:26] money saver. I mean these are both money saving opportunities, right? You get two and a half pounds of protein for nine bucks. You get the I-Target Pro and it's

[00:21:33] shelf stable, but I'm not talking about going by steak, right? That you got to

[00:21:38] freeze or whatever. Shelf stable, dehyd acquisition dry fire drill. I link to a YouTube video so you can see what the drill is every month. This routine will be a members only routine, but what are you not a member for? Why are you not a member?

[00:23:01] If you're going rats, I want to do the routine, but I'm not a, why are you not a member?

[00:23:06] I'm giving you solutions. Alright, PBN family, it's the villain. Stupid. That's the theme of tonight's show. Let's dig in to start to our faithful folks here at the Prepper Broadcasting Network.

[00:24:20] We've got some serious Silence of the Lambs fans here.

[00:24:22] Garden Girl earlier today said two of her best villains of the 80s and see what people have come up with. Let me look for a reliable website. myself, but I get it. Oh, Audrey! Audrey from Little Shop of Horrors. Beetlejuice. Biff Tannen. I know some of you going crazy out there. Biff Tannen. Right. Back to the future. Uh, Chet Donnelly from Weird Science. I'm not too- I'm not really digging this list too much.

[00:27:02] Christine Akar?

[00:27:05] Uh, I'll go with Chucky from Child's Play. He was scary to me when I was little. Um, who else we got here? Jack Torrance, The Shining, one of the best performances by Jack Nicholson. How come Jack Nicholson's characters are always named Jack? Johnny Lawrence. I mean, Johnny Lawrence was a very hateable character.

[00:28:21] He was a very hateable character.

[00:28:23] He was a guy who, uh, yeah.

[00:28:27] Yeah.

[00:28:27] That's a good one.

[00:28:28] That's a good one. movies that come out today they're trying to be cute or something. T-800. T-800 was one of the great villains ever. The original Terminator is one of the greatest concepts of all. He's unstoppable. He's like Jason Voorhees. You know what I mean? You couldn't hurt him. You couldn't stop him. Guy comes from the

[00:29:41] future tells you I don't know if I could beat him big fan but I get it you know I understand who we missing who we may I feel like we're missing some serious 1980s villains best 1980s villains let's just go with that I mean they're okay but

[00:31:00] back to the future I mean come on we mean they were so terrifying they were hard to watch Like I'd want to run Hell raids are three hell on earth. I had it on tape Alien Queen Oh Jordan Jordan from

[00:32:22] Phoenix survival said that alien was one of her favorites the alien Queen from the

[00:32:27] 1986 than like they did with Batman, you need an actor who can carry the water. Like not some undiscovered, nothing wrong with undiscovered new, you know, actors and all that kind of stuff, but don't give me somebody I'd never heard of playing as a villain I've never heard of and expect me to say, I'm definitely going to see that movie. I mean, that's just gonna be about as good as it gets.

[00:33:44] Garden Girls Hubby said that Lex Luthor, Now 1999, the number one movie villain is a guy, I don't even know who it is. You guys might laugh at me, but I have no clue who it is. Is this the best? Aaron from Titus. Oh, these are alphabetical order, I'm sorry.

[00:35:02] Aaron Stampler from Misery, two great ones. Two great ones right off the bat. James and the Giant Peach, no thank you buddy love screen double-edged lightsaber yet spikes coming out of his head he was that's a villain man you know that's a villain what do we got ghostface yeah I don't when I say villains I don't mean horror characters I mean I get it but at

[00:37:44] the same time it's a different thing it's a different feel for me here's a great villains that he play what's his name oh my god i can't believe i forgot his name the guy who played bram stoker is dracula uh... what else we got boogie boogie was a good villain he was cool all the mask of the fantastic great the fantastic herself spoiler alert

[00:39:01] uh...

[00:39:03] great villain great cartoon villain Eric Draven played by Bill Skarsgard this go-round who I was very excited about. I like Bill. Bill does good work man. He was amazing as Pennywise. He was great in John Wick 4. He was great in Barbarian. He's a good actor man. They turned him into, he looks like just is what it is. Uh, Chris, I'm sorry, Jay Ferg said Hannibal Lecter. Her partner said Jean Baptiste Emmanuelle Zorg. Now he's laughing at me right now because I don't even know who that is.

[00:41:46] Let's see. Maybe really unbelievable. Oh How could I forget?

[00:43:00] now there is

[00:43:03] Several villains in my and this speaks volumes of this to my favorite movie of

[00:44:02] Oh, it's got six, seven villains in that movie. It's great.

[00:44:04] But Gary Oldman is incredible in that one.

[00:44:07] Leon the Professional, we talked about that.

[00:44:10] The Fifth Element, we talked about that.

[00:44:15] Hannibal, I don't remember him in Hannibal.

[00:44:18] Pete the Devil.

[00:44:21] Batman Begins, but he's not a bad guy in those.

[00:44:26] I feel like I watched him.

[00:44:27] Oh, what's that movie came out in 2015. I thought that was a new movie. Not a bad guy in it, but in Darkest Hour he made me cry. I just, you know, good stuff. Good stuff.

[00:45:40] The heir of the villain.

[00:45:42] How come we can't get it right in Hollywood these days?

[00:45:45] What's out now?

[00:45:46] Let's play fun.

[00:45:47] We'll go to my favorite movie theater. up I talked about it already it's a movie coming out on the 15th of March called the American Society of Magical Negroes and it might be it might be one of the most racist things I've ever seen but you know whatever on two on both sides of the is. A woman on the cover of the picture, the poster, a movie called Article 370, looks really cool. No idea what it's about, who it's about.

[00:48:21] You know what I mean?

[00:48:24] None of these movies that I'm looking at he's doing so why is Hollywood struggling so much? Think about Sarah Hathaway. Sarah Hathaway wrote a book series where the villain was so good he got a whole book. Everybody knows who he is. Everybody knows the deal, right? Like, you immediately understand that you're gonna go watch the movie. And that movie is Labyrinth. It's the original Labyrinth. And what do you see on the movie poster? There's a beautiful young girl in a dress. Right? There's a castle. There's a slew of monsters.

[00:51:00] And on top of all this is a demonic, poofy-haired,

[00:51:05] David Bowie villain. He's the biggest picture in the whole thing, too many white people in these movies it's getting crazy and you lose like the very foundation of what makes a good movie man right you lose the very foundation the guy who madeooth Wars. For those of you who don't know, Wolverine's archnemesis is Sabretooth. He heals like Wolverine, he's way bigger than him, and one of the things he likes to do is really ruin his birthday every single year, okay?

[00:53:41] And he's basically pulled all the Sabretooths from the multiverse out and are just given

[00:53:47] Wolverine hell. Is there any don't I don't know the legacy of my character? That's the guy who made saber-tooth if he's sitting around going I worry about the legacy of saber-tooth for cannibalizing main characters in the Marvel Universe These are the things that force me to be sitting here in front of the microphone at 856 p.m. Talking about

[00:55:03] how to save movies

[00:56:04] supposed to say it, you're not supposed to say anything about a guy like him, right? But he's one of these guys who says things.

[00:56:06] Look, when Leonardo DiCaprio wakes up after Bill's shot and he saves his life, and he

[00:56:16] rolls over and Bill's sitting there in the rocking chair and he has his shirt off because

[00:56:22] he's all bandaged up, but he has the American flag wrapped over top of him.

[00:56:26] It's one of the best movies ever made. I really do. I mean, Fences is one of the best movies ever made, I think. I mean, if you're a family man, maybe that's it.

[00:57:42] You know, if you're a kid and you watch it, you might not get it.

[00:57:45] You know what I mean? to Harry Potter's we read them a little bit but we never got through them as a family I'd much rather talk about Anton from no country it for old men right you want to talk about a you want to talk about a winner like come on again another

[00:59:01] I don't want to sound like a you know I don't want to beat the drum to death but one of the great actors of our time, right? Incredible performance, a guy you love to see in the flick, right? And who's the other bad guy? Ray Shao Ghoul played by Liam Neeson. Awesome. Then we move into the dark night and you have the Joker.

[01:00:20] You know, an epic performance.

[01:00:21] And you know who's also, well, he's decent in it.

[01:00:25] He's Carmine Falcone.

[01:00:26] He's pretty good in it.

[01:01:23] And that's the reason why, because the villain's so good.

[01:01:27] Fast forward to the third one, right?

[01:01:34] You have maybe the most important character in Spider-Man

[01:01:37] from the villain side of things in Venom, right? Or at least the coolest.

[01:01:40] And they chose Topper Grace to play him.

[01:01:45] Right?

[01:01:46] Like, what are we doing? you can sell an entire movie that would otherwise suck on the back of a good villain. It's really hard to sell a movie on the back of a great actor who's a really good hero. You know what I mean? People are gonna buy land where my land is. The price is gonna go up. But it's an investment. I don't put money in stocks. I know it's fake. You know it's fake, right?

[01:04:21] I burned my 401k out to be here with you in this life.

[01:04:26] Best move I ever made.

[01:05:23] in places like Texas, in places like New Mexico.

[01:05:26] Why not? Do you know what I mean?

[01:05:27] If you have it, if it's sitting around in a bank

[01:05:30] and you're waiting for a bank run,

[01:05:32] if it's sitting around in stocks

[01:05:33] and you're waiting for the stock market to bottom out,

[01:05:36] put it in something tangible, put it in land.

[01:05:40] And you know, you know you have something

[01:05:43] that's gonna appreciate over time.

[01:05:44] You have no idea how much it's gonna appreciate.

[01:05:46] Look, all of a sudden You look at it's doubled in price tripled quadrude who knows Now I'm not gonna run the ad because I just did the ad you're welcome sponsors Ad lived all the ads tonight on the I am Liberty show guys. I hope you enjoyed yourself tonight

[01:07:00] Sometimes we got to take a break. I'll be back tomorrow morning bright and early with PB and daily news
