[00:00:11] Welcome back to the Changing Earth Podcast with author Sarah F Hathaway and co-host

[00:00:17] Chen Gibson, blending survival fiction and fact to bring you entertaining education that

[00:00:24] will help you dream, survive and thrive.

[00:00:28] And now here's your host Sarah F Hathaway and Chen Gibson.

[00:00:35] Chapter 46 Two weeks later Cole's commitment to his orders was tested.

[00:00:41] He tried to be as steadfast as Bennett.

[00:00:45] General Merkley and Colonel Henderson gave the command to retake the Oregon lands.

[00:00:49] However, the reality of executing the order was a harsh one.

[00:00:53] They were invading the lands of people surviving peacefully.

[00:00:56] They were rounding them up and shipping them to camps.

[00:01:00] Cole had become the invading tyrannical force.

[00:01:03] That was the order and he had little choice but to follow it.

[00:01:07] Too many people counted on his leadership in the West and if he didn't do his job with

[00:01:12] precision he could easily be replaced.

[00:01:15] The endless gunfire filled Cole's ears and the sounds of people screaming echoed in

[00:01:20] the night.

[00:01:21] Sir, we've been fighting for a week.

[00:01:23] We're losing too much of our forces and expending too many supplies Monroe advised,

[00:01:28] returning from a supply check.

[00:01:31] Colonel Henderson wants Oregon and Washington back, Cole responded coldly.

[00:01:35] What did General McClintock say Monroe wondered?

[00:01:38] He gave the order and sent us additional forces, Cole replied.

[00:01:42] Chappie ran up catching his breath he told Cole.

[00:01:45] The scout said coastlines are toast Major.

[00:01:48] This is a fruitless battle.

[00:01:50] They're dug in deep.

[00:01:51] Sharing their doubts Cole snapped back.

[00:01:53] Stole that shit you two.

[00:01:56] We need to lead these troops.

[00:01:58] Humbled by the scolding the men watched Johnny approach.

[00:02:01] Major Verges the next load of ammunition arrived he declared.

[00:02:05] Chappie distribute the ammunition to the teams Cole commanded.

[00:02:09] Yes sir Chappie agreed reluctantly.

[00:02:12] Monroe we're going to push the line and take that town today Cole demanded.

[00:02:17] His troops fought valiantly pushing the line throughout the day but gaining little

[00:02:21] ground.

[00:02:23] Sir there's another group of refugees fleeing through the gate Private Guthrie shouted

[00:02:26] pointing into the distance.

[00:02:29] Put them on a transport make sure they get food and water.

[00:02:32] We'll ship them to Vegas Cole commanded.

[00:02:35] Yes sir Guthrie responded talking into his radio.

[00:02:39] Exhausted Cole took a drink from his canteen wondering how they could turn the tide.

[00:02:44] He scanned his men seeing the same tired expression in their eyes.

[00:02:49] Watching his mind work Monroe whispered Major Verges we're fighting for land

[00:02:54] that is useless.

[00:02:56] I don't want to die for this shit.

[00:02:59] Same with the same thoughts Cole barked back.

[00:03:01] If you're not going to follow orders you can load into that transport and go to Vegas.

[00:03:06] I need your head in the game now get out there and do your job.

[00:03:10] Yes sir Monroe agreed directing his team to keep moving.

[00:03:14] Before he could follow Cole's radio crackled.

[00:03:17] Major Verges we breached the wall and we're setting up our perimeter around the

[00:03:21] town now Chappie's voice told him.

[00:03:23] Keep pushing Cole commanded running to catch up with Monroe.

[00:03:28] As he reached the team a massive explosion echoed above the noise of the battle.

[00:03:33] Blown off his feet Cole looked towards Monroe.

[00:03:36] He was shaking his head as a loud humming blasted through it.

[00:03:40] You okay Cole asked helping him to his feet.

[00:03:43] Looks like they have an RPG in their arsenal Monroe commented motioning for the men to

[00:03:48] regroup.

[00:03:49] First private Guthrie take your team and get that weapon Cole ordered.

[00:03:54] Yes sir he declared dutifully.

[00:03:56] He eagerly left to complete his mission.

[00:03:59] Johnny go find Chappie and search the homes.

[00:04:02] Find the plans for the attack on the capital.

[00:04:05] If these people are plotting an attack like Henderson claims we need evidence.

[00:04:09] Cole told him fed up with this fight.

[00:04:12] Yes sir Johnny answered running off into the force of mercenaries.

[00:04:16] Suddenly they were rocked by another large explosion.

[00:04:20] Looking in the direction of the blast Cole's heart sank.

[00:04:24] That was Guthrie's team.

[00:04:26] Let's back them up Cole commanded.

[00:04:28] Get our medics over there.

[00:04:30] They pressed in fast and hard clearing a path to Guthrie.

[00:04:33] Lay down fire on the west flank.

[00:04:35] Push them north Cole commanded horrified by the number of refugee fighters that lay

[00:04:40] dead on the battlefield.

[00:04:42] Major I found them Monroe called.

[00:04:45] Cole ran over Guthrie's legs were blown to shreds.

[00:04:49] Guthrie oh crap.

[00:04:51] Medic!

[00:04:53] Guthrie looked up at Cole reaching up to grab his arm.

[00:04:57] Major I'm not going to make it.

[00:05:00] Yes you are we'll get you to a hospital Cole assured him.

[00:05:04] Guthrie moaned in pain and tears formed in his eyes.

[00:05:08] And then what half my body is gone.

[00:05:11] I'll be a cripple living in a refugee camp.

[00:05:15] No one can predict the future Cole replied knowing the man's assessment was correct.

[00:05:20] Guthrie's breathing was growing shallow and he gasped for air.

[00:05:24] You know the truth kill me.

[00:05:27] What no we're going to help you Cole replied horrified by the man's suggestion.

[00:05:33] Just kill me it's the best way to help me I'm dying anyway.

[00:05:38] Monroe where is that medic Cole requested?

[00:05:41] Monroe stared back at him.

[00:05:44] You know he's right sir.

[00:05:45] I would want you to do the same for me.

[00:05:48] I know damn it Cole admitted sadly.

[00:05:52] Guthrie's grip on Cole's arm tightened and a small smile crossed his face.

[00:05:56] Sir it's been an honor to serve with you.

[00:06:01] Cole took the man's arm off his and put it on his chest.

[00:06:05] He backed up pulling out his pistol.

[00:06:08] The honor is mine Cole told him sincerely pulling the trigger on his gun.

[00:06:14] He holstered his sidearm and looked out at the battlefield inhaling the metallic scent

[00:06:20] of blood and gunpowder.

[00:06:22] What are we doing here he wondered out loud.

[00:06:25] Make your call Verges Monroe told him.

[00:06:28] Cole took his radio out of his pocket and asked Chappie what have you found?

[00:06:34] Nothing sir they're getting food supplies ready for the winter no sign of plans

[00:06:38] for an attack on the capital Chappie informed him.

[00:06:42] Pull your team out of the town.

[00:06:44] I'll take anything Cole told him clipping his radio back to his belt he commanded.

[00:06:49] Mercenary forces cease fire and pull back to the south of town.

[00:06:54] Monroe bring your team and come with me get out that white flag and put it in the air.

[00:07:00] As the mercenary army pulled back a small group of rebel fighters approached.

[00:07:05] Here's your response sir Monroe told him directing his team to stand at the ready.

[00:07:10] The group approached and a man with a long black ponytail advanced.

[00:07:14] We want our lamb back like it was before the white man came we will all die before

[00:07:20] we give it up again the man declared.

[00:07:22] I can see that my name is Major Cole Verges.

[00:07:26] I am called River Walker what is your proposal?

[00:07:30] Cole chuckled at him.

[00:07:32] I don't know I was supposed to regain this territory.

[00:07:36] We were told your people were planning an attack on the new capital.

[00:07:40] You were told wrong.

[00:07:42] We want to be left in peace free of the white man.

[00:07:45] You can take them all we want our home back.

[00:07:48] I can't guarantee that someone won't come to take it back but I can guarantee it

[00:07:52] won't be me or anyone I command.

[00:07:56] You're an honorable man and a formidable warrior.

[00:07:59] I believe you will honor your word.

[00:08:02] There has been enough death take care of your people Cole told him sincerely.

[00:08:07] Thank you River Walker replied turning to rejoin his fighters.

[00:08:12] Monroe Chappie get these troops ready to roll out.

[00:08:15] We're not losing any more people to this fight Cole assured them.

[00:08:19] As they walked towards the transport Chappie wondered what are you going to tell McClintock?

[00:08:24] We lost Cole answered simply tilting his head to the sound of a rumble echoing

[00:08:29] through the air.

[00:08:30] Stole that gear everyone hang tight Monroe directed as the ground shook violently.

[00:08:36] As the quakes flowed a voice called to Cole on the radio.

[00:08:39] Go ahead Cole answered.

[00:08:41] There's lava approaching the town of Medina in Utah.

[00:08:45] They need immediate evacuation send out two teams we're done here and en route.

[00:08:50] Monroe shook his head at Cole responding out of the frying pan and into the fryer.

[00:08:56] Story of our life Chappie chuckled as they climbed into the transport.

[00:09:03] On the brink of blackouts again as power demand reached an all time record high

[00:09:07] overnight slivers of the Golden State plunged into darkness.

[00:09:11] It comes says it expects to continue with stage six rolling blackouts for the rest of the week.

[00:09:15] He scheduled outage on Thursday but the one that happened Sunday it wasn't

[00:09:18] scheduled it was unexpected and it lasted longer than a day.

[00:09:22] Point zero energy has given me the American tested American assembled reliable solar

[00:09:42] watt high efficiency inverter.

[00:09:44] So what does all that mean to you?

[00:09:46] It means the Titan can charge your smartphone for 88 hours your laptop for 35 hours

[00:09:51] a CPAP for 108 hours your refrigerator for 26.8 hours.

[00:09:57] Get to point zero energy dot com today for the all American solution to backup power.

[00:10:10] To pay the end.

[00:10:14] You're back to stability.

[00:10:38] Hello and welcome back to the changing earth podcast.

[00:10:42] This is episode number 446 season 15 episode 46 got a very spectacular show to bring

[00:10:54] to you guys tonight.

[00:10:55] You know we're always touting Prepper Camp because it's just our big family reunion time

[00:11:00] and so we have the ladies from Prepper Camp not all the ladies obviously but

[00:11:05] good handful of ladies that have either been part of Prepper Camp

[00:11:08] teach Prepper Camp or host Prepper Camp here on the show tonight.

[00:11:14] So we just heard chapter 46 of Virgis and we're talking a little bit about losing

[00:11:21] faith and leadership something that's easy to talk about these days.

[00:11:27] This was a chapter that was kind of tough for me because you know they go to take

[00:11:32] this land back from the natives and everything it was kind of my ode to

[00:11:37] you know people taking their space back after the collapse happened.

[00:11:42] So I hope you enjoyed the show the episode tonight but let me go ahead

[00:11:47] and introduce the guests and also let me say happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there.

[00:11:53] Appreciate all that everything that all the moms do trying your best to raise these little

[00:11:58] regrets so happy Mother's Day.

[00:12:01] So first guest up we have survivor Jane the host of Prepper or the hostess

[00:12:08] of Prepper Camp the hostess with the mostess.

[00:12:10] Hi Jane how you doing tonight?

[00:12:13] Hi thank you for inviting me back.

[00:12:15] Good to have you on.

[00:12:17] I was I was excited.

[00:12:18] I've been wanting to do this show for years literally for like at least the last three

[00:12:23] years and I always just forget like Prepper Camp just comes around again and I'm like

[00:12:28] darn it I was gonna do the lady show.

[00:12:32] Well I think it's a great idea and I'm looking forward to it tonight.

[00:12:36] Our second guest is Nicole Wallace she is one of the badass shooting

[00:12:43] instructors from Wolf Fire Firearms.

[00:12:46] So hi Nicole how you doing?

[00:12:49] Hey Sarah I am doing fantastic.

[00:12:51] Now did I get your last name correct?

[00:12:54] Yes.

[00:12:55] Okay all right good I was worried I was collecting information on you before the show.

[00:13:01] Yeah yeah so welcome to the changing earth you're a new voice on the changing earth

[00:13:07] and on podcasting so I want to welcome you to the show and yeah thanks for joining us.

[00:13:13] We got Jordan Smith in the house from Phoenix Survival PBN host.

[00:13:19] How you doing Jordan?

[00:13:22] I'm good thank you for so so much for having me.

[00:13:25] Of course of course and we got Gillian Rabelais host of Raising Value co-host but like

[00:13:32] the most important host of Raising Values so how you doing Gillian?

[00:13:37] I'm doing well thanks for having me Sarah.

[00:13:39] You're very welcome thanks for joining me.

[00:13:41] So all these ladies you know we're all part of

[00:13:45] Prepper Camp and sometimes guys are you know a little bit more involved in prepping and

[00:13:51] these ladies here are here to tell you that no no no it's definitely a woman's game as well.

[00:13:55] You should get out to Prepper Camp and check it out.

[00:13:58] Jane how is Prepper Camp 2024 shaping up or are you just going to be submerged in goats

[00:14:06] until we start putting tents up?

[00:14:09] Both both honestly both you know I just the homestead doesn't stop just because

[00:14:15] Prepper Camp is we put it on every year that's just our mission that's our ministry

[00:14:22] but we have got some fantastic speakers and classes you know we always strive to do at

[00:14:29] least 20 to 25 new classes a year.

[00:14:32] Yes.

[00:14:33] So when you're talking about 64 classes and at least a quarter of those if not more

[00:14:39] are new classes there's always something for a repeat repeat repeat which if those of us that

[00:14:47] go to it know it's like a big family reunion half the time we're seeing people from all

[00:14:53] over the country and sometimes internationally come in.

[00:14:57] We have a great surprise speaker for Saturday night also we've got great things going to be

[00:15:06] happening on Friday night on Saturday night you know we always try to throw things just step it

[00:15:12] up just a little bit more.

[00:15:16] Five times August gonna be back playing this year.

[00:15:18] He will be there again absolutely.

[00:15:21] I just love spending time with them.

[00:15:23] Bringing his friends you know he's gotten to where now he's inviting his own friends

[00:15:29] and neighbors to come to Prepper Camp so you know when your guest music guest is inviting

[00:15:36] not just their family but now the following years bringing friends and neighbors too

[00:15:41] that's pretty awesome.

[00:15:43] Right yeah that is it's just the honestly I'm like can't we just live at Prepper Camp

[00:15:48] and then go back to real life like we'll flip that we'll be like three days of other life.

[00:15:55] I wouldn't mind so Nicole how many years have you been at Prepper Camp

[00:16:01] and why don't you just talk a little bit about what you teach there

[00:16:04] and you know how beneficial your class is because it is a good one.

[00:16:10] Awesome so I have taught for three years there and so this will be my fourth year

[00:16:17] at Prepper Camp and I love it.

[00:16:21] In my own personal life I'm such an introvert but out there everybody is amazing

[00:16:26] and so friendly you can't help but just like just be moved by the energy

[00:16:35] and the vibe and just how wonderful everybody is.

[00:16:38] So I teach a home defense class so just kind of basic like

[00:16:44] how to make sure you're safe in and around your own home.

[00:16:49] This year I think we're bringing back the female shooter kind of class where

[00:16:56] we just address things that are kind of unique to us.

[00:17:00] We're the fastest growing dynamic in that world and you know most things are geared for

[00:17:07] like big guys and our bodies are very different and our circumstances are very

[00:17:11] different. We were talking before the show about maybe we carry in a diaper bag

[00:17:16] right we're probably gonna have kids with us so we go over all the terminology and things

[00:17:23] you know so that we can be much more educated in that world and then we're gonna

[00:17:27] teach a new class about night vision and thermal optics and kind of how to own

[00:17:33] thermal optics in that environment super cool stuff so that'll be a really interesting class

[00:17:41] that we're gonna step into this year.

[00:17:43] Very cool I use that a lot in my books so I have like the coolest design for a thermal cloak

[00:17:49] that could like hide you from thermal well that's neither here nor there.

[00:17:53] Jordan how many um how many years you've been coming to Prepper Camp and uh what do

[00:17:59] you what are you doing this year besides bringing a bigger baby?

[00:18:03] It's gonna be my right I think it's gonna be my fifth year actually.

[00:18:07] I think my first year was in 2019 and then I'll be um teaching the utilizing fiber for homestead

[00:18:18] and then survival and then yes my family is growing and it seems to be growing and coming

[00:18:23] along to Prepper Camp as well. Love it love it yeah wouldn't be the same without you.

[00:18:29] All right Gillian you're coming back this year.

[00:18:32] I am coming back this year so yeah I've only I know I'm so excited and I've only been one time

[00:18:40] but that was so life-changing that I've I asked off for this like a year before so

[00:18:48] I technically can't but I went on and told my principal I was like look next September

[00:18:52] I'm going I will be gone you will have to find a substitute if you can't find a substitute

[00:18:57] it's up to you I don't care because I will be in Saluda. I love it that's what I tell my

[00:19:03] kids school. Yuff that's what I tell them I'm like my kid's school actually gave him it off

[00:19:09] excused because of what we were doing because we go to an educational experience. Yeah I

[00:19:15] I don't think they counted the three days that she missed um year before last as an absence

[00:19:21] because I showed them pictures of her taking notes in her classes I mean at that point

[00:19:26] she was what 10 I think right and my child is in on in these tents and there she's taking notes

[00:19:31] on what these people were saying and and I'm like I don't know if you'll ever ever ever

[00:19:37] kill a deer skin it and you know do whatever this woman is telling you but

[00:19:42] you go girl I am so proud of you and you take those notes. Right Christian was even

[00:19:47] in the Dutch oven class one year. I know like we did that we did um oh what was it

[00:19:54] all the way in the back it was um something with weapons and I'm like all right Piper wants

[00:19:59] to go to this we'll go let's go do it. Oh Hakeem's classes yeah yeah yeah yeah so

[00:20:05] but I will be there this year um I will be helping out the boys they will be doing uh

[00:20:11] podcasting live podcasting again and I'll be helping with the booth and all that stuff so

[00:20:17] I'll have to take a moment to actually get on there this year I'm so busy always so busy

[00:20:22] there yeah yeah yeah so it's it's really exciting because Prepper Camp has been a topic in our house

[00:20:30] for five years I mean Phil and Andrew have been going for five years and um Jane and Rick have

[00:20:36] just taken us in with open arms and I love it and um so now they have a booth and they'll

[00:20:42] be doing the podcasting and I think Phil is doing a um a coffee roasting demonstration for

[00:20:49] CBN and for disaster coffee so I'll be helping with that as well uh lots of interesting fun

[00:20:55] things coming about that so be on the lookout for fun things like that.

[00:21:02] Let's do a favorite Prepper Camp memory and Jane why don't you start us out again

[00:21:09] because you just have the longest amount of memories of Prepper Camp

[00:21:13] Miss woman been rocking it for like a decade now. You know I have just one that's my top top

[00:21:19] favorite I'm going to try to make it as fast and short as I can um there was an elderly gentleman

[00:21:26] that was very very very obese and anybody that's been in Prepper Camp you know that

[00:21:31] it's in a beautiful orchard like campgrounds which is kind of rolling hills so you got

[00:21:36] flat but you got also kind of up the hill there a little bit and I saw this gentleman way down

[00:21:45] trying to walk up some stairs and it was just one step at a time and I thought I gotta go

[00:21:51] I'm gonna just run up the hill you know so I don't have to stand behind him and

[00:21:56] that little angel on my shoulder said uh-uh so I went on nuts so I went down and I walked

[00:22:04] beside him on the stairs and it took forever one step at a time just to get up and he was

[00:22:09] going to the restroom so I was asking him how he was enjoying himself and what did he like

[00:22:14] and just a little chit chat anybody that knows me knows I love to talk to people so

[00:22:19] I talked to him the whole way up and then just gave him a hug and said I just hope

[00:22:24] he has a really really good time. That was the last I saw of him the following year um

[00:22:31] somebody called me to the registration tent and said there's this family that wants to see you

[00:22:35] and it's like oh okay so I rushed over there and it's a lady and she had all these young kids

[00:22:43] and middle-aged kids and older kids there probably had to been at least 10 to 12 people

[00:22:48] and the lady came up and she said I just want to say thank you and it's like oh dear

[00:22:54] what do I do now and she said you took the time with my husband and and I was like oh what

[00:23:02] husband what husband she goes you walked with him up the stairs and all he could talk about

[00:23:07] the rest of the time at prepper camp and when he got home how nice that lady was that took

[00:23:14] the time and that she was the one that was running that show and that was making it sound

[00:23:20] it was a whole big deal and of course I'm embarrassed because it's like you know me I don't

[00:23:26] I don't need all that stuff I don't look for that stuff I just love people she said well we

[00:23:31] we all came here because he died a week later and our family wanted to come where papa

[00:23:39] had the best time of his life and we were all our family wanted to come and enjoy that time

[00:23:47] and it's like wow talk about you never know when you might touch somebody so that's my all-time

[00:23:53] favorite and I've never had anything that could top that right that moment oh that's good one

[00:24:00] that's a good one oh who's going next after that one yeah I guess I'll go next so nobody

[00:24:07] else feels awkward but um so my rain story but I'm gonna save that one um because I

[00:24:16] think everybody knows my first year um but last year horrible yeah but last year there's been

[00:24:25] this couple that comes to my self-defense class every year and um they look like um I

[00:24:32] think they live like in New York you know and they're definitely midwesterners and she's just

[00:24:38] the sweetest old lady her and her little husband you know and she came outside of a

[00:24:44] store and her husband was attacked and in this moment um he actually got the upper hand

[00:24:53] so she had like gone to the car but then the guy like kicked his knee and he had just had knee

[00:24:59] surgery her husband ended up going down this guy's like gonna you know beat on her husband

[00:25:04] here she comes out of the car just full of confidence and vigor and pushed this guy back

[00:25:11] off her husband and defended him until the police could get there and she was like you know you gave

[00:25:17] me the confidence to be able to do that because the confidence is 90 percent of winning the

[00:25:21] battle and I'm like it is so um yeah so that was a pretty cool one as well where it's like

[00:25:29] wow um okay thank you lord for putting me here to make this difference in people's

[00:25:35] you know that's awesome so uh yeah that's definitely my my one of my very special memories

[00:25:42] other than just most amazing time with amazing people including my family

[00:25:50] I guess I could I could throw I've got a couple memories but my my most the first memory

[00:25:57] that comes to mind with Prepper Camp is um meeting Dave Jones for the first time

[00:26:04] and he told me once he figured out who I was oh you're you know you're Jay Fer you're Jordan

[00:26:09] with a family affair he goes I'm gonna be honest with you I thought you were gonna be

[00:26:14] about 35 years older and 150 pounds heavier and all I could do was laugh and then he's

[00:26:19] like I bet I sound it taller didn't I said actually yes I thought you were much

[00:26:24] Oh that's funny but but you know that was one of those impressions the only other ones I can

[00:26:30] think of is I guess for me what keeps me wanting to come back and keeps me is not only

[00:26:36] everybody there but like I I had what was it I think last year the year before um

[00:26:44] when I first came when I first started teaching there was this uh these this family the two

[00:26:50] gentlemen and um it was a father a brother and a son and they were there and they learned how to

[00:26:55] spin and then they came back a few years later do you remember this young man and he had grown

[00:27:00] up and he didn't look like a little boy anymore he looked like a young man so it was

[00:27:05] for me it's being able to meet these people and then come back and see them a year or two

[00:27:10] years later and just to see that we are making an impression on him really just melts my heart

[00:27:16] on him really just melts my heart yep for sure that's nice yeah wait till you understand what

[00:27:24] it's like to be a teacher yeah right yeah martial arts was that way as well so I don't

[00:27:34] I've only been one time but like I said it was such a life-changing year for me and um

[00:27:41] I I never taught a class although Jane I do have an idea for a class I'll probably be

[00:27:46] laughed off the stage but I do have an idea I'd have to talk to you about um but for me

[00:27:52] for me the anticipation of just seeing everyone that we have

[00:27:56] grown to love uh through our podcast and knowing that they're all going to be there

[00:28:02] and we get to hang out with them and we have to you know we get to stink together and we get to

[00:28:08] drink day old coffee together and walk the hill a thousand times to see each other but um

[00:28:16] just being with everyone that has a like-minded personality and like-minded lifestyle and uh you

[00:28:23] know it's just like going home it really is like going home so um and like I said we talk

[00:28:30] about it in this house at least once a week we you know we were talking about it at lunch

[00:28:33] today it's Mother's Day at the hibachi grill we're talking about prepper camp so I'm not lying

[00:28:40] I'm really I'm really not no it's true so and it is true we talk about it on the pot both

[00:28:46] podcasts and it's just it's being around all those people that you know when when

[00:28:54] you talk about your lifestyle with just you know Jane Doe outside or whatever you're a lot

[00:29:00] of times you're judged and then you have hundreds of people there that live the same

[00:29:04] lifestyle or trying to live the same lifestyle and it is it's just like going home so that was me

[00:29:13] all right Nicole you're last up now I agree with so much of that um

[00:29:22] and I have a couple things right so um for those of you who know or don't know I got

[00:29:27] into this um through Dave who started at the beginning and he taught the self-defense class

[00:29:32] and he loved prepper camp and he was so excited for me to go the first year that I went and I

[00:29:37] loved it and then of course we know Dave passed away and so um I was invited to pick up his

[00:29:44] class and to teach my own um and the he died right after prepper camp and I will tell you

[00:29:50] that was the best week of his life was that whole week and the weekend of prepper camp but

[00:29:56] the very next year the people who lined up to hug me and tell me stories um it was it was

[00:30:07] unbelievable the people who had come year after year um and I enjoyed it so much and I felt

[00:30:13] so much love from that community from people I didn't even know it is such an amazing place

[00:30:19] he touched a lot of people yeah I knew him even before like just prepper camp I actually

[00:30:25] the first year we're there um I was like Dave you were right next to me and like we never said hi

[00:30:32] we had been like on the on the computer so much and then uh yeah to be able to connect that was

[00:30:38] that was a really good year it really was and then um I love to teach I especially love to

[00:30:45] teach women and so I know it doesn't come through through audio but I am about a foot

[00:30:51] shy of being six feet tall so um when I stand up on stage right not such an imposing

[00:30:59] figure right so when I tell women look you can carry anything you want to we are fully able to

[00:31:05] defend ourselves I had a lady bring her husband up and it was like see I told you she's not

[00:31:11] this giant person same I think I think Gillian's the only one over like five five here

[00:31:21] right that's funny wow she wins right I know I think so we're all the shorties

[00:31:34] I'm the shortest one in my family are you wow I am most of the most of the women in my family

[00:31:41] are six feet even my nieces are taller than me wow yeah I made it taller than my mom I

[00:31:48] was like I'm good I made it that's it I might be bringing mama with us this year we'll see

[00:31:56] oh that would be so cool but yeah she really would like to experience it and I know that all

[00:32:01] my family there would love to meet my mom so I'm like we'll see you know if she's willing

[00:32:07] to do the road trip and everything and then Ellen's definitely coming from Australia as well

[00:32:11] again this year so I am so excited about awesome right yeah she won't be on the boat

[00:32:17] this year so we got a full crew coming out that's for sure well okay most important survival tip

[00:32:25] so I will start this one off it is my rain story and I learned very well during

[00:32:36] my first year at Prepper Camp a lot about rain camping and so yeah it's not it's not a

[00:32:45] tip from a class although I've learned a ton especially from Jane's class

[00:32:52] I picked up a lot of basics that I didn't know I was missing like how to reseal jars with a break

[00:33:01] bleeder leader yes I did not know I was missing that tip but we lived in California

[00:33:09] for so long you know we didn't go out rain camping and so that first year there we just

[00:33:14] got flooded literally raining in the camp or in the tent with our our air mattresses floating

[00:33:23] so luckily we had got the van and we just made the best of it we had tarps up to keep us warm

[00:33:32] and the family pulled together so much and it just made it an amazing experience and then

[00:33:39] we had you guys there to you know at least dry out one of our sleeping bags a couple of them

[00:33:44] yeah we had some dry bedding but uh you know we pulled together a lot as a family and it just

[00:33:51] showed me like just how adaptable we can be and still be so happy together um so that's

[00:33:57] really my survival tip is like be happy with the ones you love oh that's great all right

[00:34:05] so I will say yeah I'll jump in um it's to the survival tip um maybe maybe not um for the

[00:34:13] people that are considering coming to prepper camp or the people that are at prepper camp

[00:34:18] my suggestion is is that nobody is totally prepared nobody so you don't get it by thinking

[00:34:29] oh I am so far behind there's no way to catch up that's not true because there's always

[00:34:35] things that we all can can build on there's always things that we can strengthen um so I don't like

[00:34:43] for people to feel like oh the only the the really experienced ones are going to be going

[00:34:49] because that's not what prep camp is about prepper camp is learning and and when you stop

[00:34:56] learning you start let you stop living as far as I'm concerned you know and um Gillian will

[00:35:01] definitely be there to tell me you know to back me up with that life is all about knowledge and

[00:35:06] all about learning so for those that say no I already all I already know all that

[00:35:13] well you know good for you but you know I have to I'm gonna have to call you on that

[00:35:17] because like I said we all can learn and nobody is totally prepared absolutely I have

[00:35:24] to back you up on that one Jane because I just did the women who prep conference and

[00:35:30] one of the things that I was telling people during that conference was you know prepping this

[00:35:35] lifestyle is so big and you can get lost in it so quickly and so easily and so you know what

[00:35:43] I kept saying was how do you eat an elephant one bite at a time and so you have to take

[00:35:50] this lifestyle and you have to take prepping one step at a time and you're not going to have

[00:35:54] it all and you're not going to be the best prepared I mean we have the best story for

[00:35:58] that with hurricane ida that you know came through the house and we had trees land

[00:36:04] we've been prepping for quite some time but the one thing we didn't have was a chainsaw to

[00:36:09] saw our way out of our house and so you know you're not going to have it all and it's

[00:36:15] going to be those aha moments going oh yeah you know I guess that would have been really

[00:36:19] good to have we have all the food and all the water but what if a tree fell on top

[00:36:23] of your house and you can't get out you're not going to get out with an x right yeah so true

[00:36:30] yeah you've got to just take it a little bit at a time a little bit at a time and that's why

[00:36:35] community resources are so important too you know I think that's why we have become so close

[00:36:41] to everyone in this community is because we know that we can reach out to y'all and be like

[00:36:45] hey we have this problem how would you go about it or what did you do to fix it right

[00:36:50] yeah there's never a question like that if you have a question and you reach out to anyone in

[00:36:55] the pbn community I mean host or on the element lines any of that I mean everybody would just

[00:37:02] it's just there to tell you whatever you need to know and that's one thing I was going to add

[00:37:06] too is like sometimes you learn so much from the people in the audience or after you know

[00:37:13] yeah um it's it's great uh that's one of my favorite parts as well is just uh you know

[00:37:18] the amount that you learn as you're going so good stuff all right Jordan or Nicole you guys

[00:37:26] sorry I was gonna say I I 100% agree with like you're never gonna know everything um

[00:37:34] but my survival tip would be know what your resources are um whether that is equipment a

[00:37:42] person your own body your knowledge right know what resources you have available um and make sure

[00:37:49] that you are competent with them and occasionally test yourself right because in a moment right

[00:37:56] sometimes your brain like completely forgets what you have available to you um I will tell

[00:38:02] you this year I thought I was going to learn how to land nav right I have zero sense of

[00:38:07] direction but I was doing all right I was out in the woods and then I got turned around

[00:38:11] and I had to call for help and he was like well why didn't you use your compass

[00:38:15] and I was like of all the things I know I have my compass I used it all morning long

[00:38:20] but I panicked in this moment forgot I had this tool right so go through your stuff make

[00:38:26] sure you know what you have and then you know how to use it and what could possibly

[00:38:30] go wrong with it and then how you fix that fair enough yeah there's a lot of times that

[00:38:36] we get gear gear and more gear and like how much you actually practice with it yes it

[00:38:43] all the gear in the world won't help if we don't know how to use it or how to fix it

[00:38:48] something goes wrong with it good one really good one I don't know if I can back that one

[00:38:55] up I mean I don't think I can say behind that's what happens it's accurate with every

[00:39:02] point everyone's making is accurate I mean it's you you never really know

[00:39:09] I mean you'll think you're prepared and then it's easy as how many years in a row did we

[00:39:14] forget the propane or rephrase twice twice we you know forgetting how to bring the propane or

[00:39:21] forgetting something as simple and it's just kind of like my second year was the rain

[00:39:27] so for me one and then it doesn't hurt to have an extra pair of shoes or to scotch guard your

[00:39:33] pants because there could be a leak and then you have to have water drop on it still didn't matter

[00:39:41] so even those who call themselves hardened preppers who have been doing it for years we

[00:39:47] still are learning and constantly changing the way we do things to make it easier more efficient

[00:39:53] better whatever is going to suit our needs because we on a fly then figured out okay we'll just pick

[00:39:58] up the pit that we left you Sarah yeah and we'll just cook from our pit instead of cooking from

[00:40:04] our propane I mean it's it just happens you adapt overcome you know improvise adapt and

[00:40:09] overcome well that's one of the things that made the Rainier so enjoyable was the intrepid

[00:40:14] commander Mr. James forgot his gas for his stove and at the camp store they only had the

[00:40:21] kind for my stove so he was like hey can I do coffee on your stove all weekend I was like sure

[00:40:28] it's just keeping my tent warm you know so uh yeah we we ended up with more gas than we

[00:40:34] came with I'm still using that gas so thank you James appreciate it yeah just never know

[00:40:42] but that no it's all about community it is that is and that's one of the things I love

[00:40:47] I'm always like we just need to buy like the massive piece of property and then everybody

[00:40:51] has their house like on the outside you know garden in the middle livestock that kind of stuff

[00:40:57] and ready let's do it yeah let's be there

[00:41:04] so goals for this year is what I had next on the list um I will say that I started teaching

[00:41:13] the anti-kidnapping and sexual assault class last year I have taught that class privately

[00:41:20] since a couple times since and um it's an emotional experience to go through just

[00:41:27] teaching that class so every time and then the stories and the things that you're told

[00:41:33] afterwards I will tell you that Satan is at work in our on our earth right now

[00:41:41] and there's a lot of hurt people out there and doing that class you know really gives people

[00:41:47] the tools that they need to fight that but like the devil tests me each time I do it too

[00:41:53] you know to where is like it is an experience and an emotional process to go through I'm so

[00:42:01] passionate about doing it I know it's the Lord's work and that's where he wants me to be

[00:42:05] so I'm there but uh it's definitely um been a interesting undertaking and I appreciate

[00:42:13] the opportunity to do it Jane and just share that knowledge so my my goal is to try and

[00:42:20] teach that class without shedding a tear this year um wow yeah because it was really something

[00:42:28] you know um and then you listen to the fathers even that come up and and tell you

[00:42:33] stories about what happened to their daughters and things like that you can just see it all over

[00:42:37] them you know the amount of pain and so that it's really been a challenge that's

[00:42:42] really been one of those things where uh you know you gotta you gotta uh put on the armor

[00:42:48] god so you can help people oh absolutely yep yep we will definitely well for that thank you

[00:42:55] um as far as my goals go drum roll please I am finally going to be getting the companion book

[00:43:04] to Rick's secret garden survival of how I actually make things in the kitchen from the

[00:43:12] homestead here so that is what I've been working on and hopefully will be done by

[00:43:20] um I've been diligently trying to you know get that done and get my chores and everything else

[00:43:27] but it's not a cookbook I stress that because everybody knows I am not a cook but can I tell

[00:43:34] you how I do something can I tell you how I did it can I tell you some of the shortcuts and

[00:43:40] some of the things that I've been able to do I want to touch the people that don't have

[00:43:45] a clue which is me nice it didn't have a clue as far as what the kitchen was and what this

[00:43:51] well I didn't even know what side the forks went on and all that other stuff you know to

[00:43:55] me you just grabbed a utensil to stir with it didn't matter if it was a spatula or if it was

[00:44:00] a knife or a fork you know so that's where I'm coming from I'm going to share all the

[00:44:06] different tips and tricks and break bleeder type of things that I can to make people

[00:44:12] realize oh well I can do this and can pull the book out just in case something was to happen

[00:44:18] and know how to substitute something for this and know how to do different things like that so

[00:44:23] it's it's not a cookbook I'll stress that I'm not a cook but I am a survivor in the kitchen

[00:44:30] and I can teach you how I did that we actually have a chat room now for the pbn family

[00:44:36] cookbook as well so if you're not in the element you got to go get in there have James

[00:44:40] get you in there um because that would be cool you could do like tips from Jane in there

[00:44:45] that'd be awesome oh yeah I'm definitely after that book very nice job love it

[00:44:55] all right what about you Nicole I see goals for this year my personal goals are to learn how to

[00:45:05] land nav um and jujitsu oh you're a cuddler right yeah the cuddlers going as well as

[00:45:14] as I had hoped that it was no it doesn't it's a very very difficult one I will teach you some

[00:45:20] survival stuff so that when you get into those positions you can actually just destroy somebody

[00:45:25] and get out of there perfect yes right and that but that's part of my um how do you not

[00:45:33] freak out and figure out what resources you have available right are my arms pinned oh but

[00:45:38] I have my legs or maybe I have arm left right how do you not yep how do you stay yeah beginning

[00:45:44] jujitsu is all about defense so that's the most important thing you can learn there is defense

[00:45:50] yes so fairly new to it um but that is my that is my goal and so then just I've

[00:45:58] expanded some of my class stuff for for proper camp so I'm hoping when I get up there that

[00:46:03] it's super interesting to everybody else is as much as it is to me very cool very cool that's

[00:46:10] nice yeah I call them cuddlers because you know jujitsu is just rolling around with sweaty guys

[00:46:15] all night pretty much like oh that's funny right what you're talking about yeah so I call

[00:46:21] them cuddlers yeah it is right uh-huh it is but none of these big guys want to roll with

[00:46:28] like the short new girl you know so yeah you gotta just assert yourself in there and be like yeah

[00:46:36] good luck tapping me it'll never happen I might not get you but you're definitely not going to

[00:46:41] get me either so right and it has been eye-opening to know just how how wiggly

[00:46:47] you can be um to get out of something yep yeah no I train full MMA so like I love

[00:46:55] to stand up fight so mine's all just about uh if I by some reason ever get in that position how

[00:47:01] can I just destroy and get out of there really fast because I I hate cuddling it's not my

[00:47:07] fortitude I could do it but like yeah I'd rather just do the stand up yes I much prefer

[00:47:16] being on my feet to to leave the situation yeah but most of the time when women are

[00:47:22] attacked it's by a single assailant and they want to take her to the ground as fast as possible

[00:47:26] so jujitsu is a good idea for females for sure but defend and then you can just rip

[00:47:33] fingers off and like smash through noses put your fingers and eyes that you can't do in a

[00:47:37] training room yep and yeah yeah and that's uh so once you have the defense down you learn

[00:47:42] those little you know where you can really hurt somebody really fast and that's your out you

[00:47:48] don't have to worry about arm locks and all this stuff so yeah we've learned some chokes and

[00:47:53] and I have a good friend who's like six foot two and 240 pounds and I'm like come here I

[00:47:59] have to practice this in class yeah I had like a 400 pound dude who was like I was like hey

[00:48:05] I just learned this in class come over here and he's like no no I'm like you can bench

[00:48:10] press me he's like no uh-uh I'm not playing I'm like fine whatever I'm taking my ball go home

[00:48:18] that's right all right what about you girls Jordan and Gillian so I have actually been

[00:48:26] working I have two goals but I've been working on these goals um and one of them is my health

[00:48:33] and so a lot of times in the prepper community we harp on making sure you have

[00:48:37] food storage and water storage and all that other stuff but a lot of times your health

[00:48:43] takes a back seat and so if you have to bug out you really need to be able to bug out and

[00:48:48] if you if you're going to bug in you really need to be able to bug in kind of thing but um I

[00:48:53] don't know if y'all know this but about a year and a half ago I was looking at an amputation

[00:48:58] of my left no my right leg underneath my knee so below my knee and so um he the doctor said

[00:49:07] you could really you know you if you lost about 100 pounds it might get better and so I'm halfway

[00:49:14] there but um your health is awesome yeah yeah and not looking at an amputation anymore is

[00:49:20] even better yeah so being able to um walk up the hill without as much pain or you know having

[00:49:29] a little bit more flexibility in my leg is going to be a lot um nicer so uh that is one

[00:49:37] thing that I will continue to work on that is going to be a goal of mine I'm actually very

[00:49:41] surprised with myself that I haven't fallen like fallen off of this um for over almost a year now

[00:49:48] so June 1st will be a year now it's a lifestyle awesome yeah now it's a lifestyle good job

[00:49:54] yeah now it's a lifestyle um the second thing was actually from a class at prepper camp

[00:50:02] I'm not going to get her name because I'm not going to remember it but she did a class on

[00:50:07] herbs and medicinal herbs and all that stuff and when I tell you like it sparked something in me

[00:50:15] I so I've been like eating through books trying to learn what's just in my backyard what's a

[00:50:20] good herb what's the medicinal value of this herb or even just just plant that's growing out

[00:50:25] there uh that most people consider a weed and this is going to sound so silly but I've been

[00:50:32] so afraid to move past just reading and getting knowledge and yesterday yesterday was the first

[00:50:39] time I made a tincture so it'll be sitting I know I'm so excited um it's going to be sitting

[00:50:45] for six weeks to do what it does but um that is my goal I want to be I want to make more

[00:50:51] tinctures and more selves and things like that and learn more and more about what the earth

[00:50:58] provides for us yeah herbal remedies are so important herbal remedies yeah well you know

[00:51:04] that it's amazing if you look at all the crap that they're putting in our food I mean I

[00:51:11] read something where they're putting sawdust sawdust now in the food for fillers as fiber

[00:51:17] and it's acceptable and we're eating it and we're paying for it yeah and the same thing

[00:51:22] with medications and what have you I think it's an awesome um goal that we're learning

[00:51:29] what we have right in our own backyard that we know what's been put on it you know no

[00:51:35] fertilizers or no pesticides or whatever it is and we're being able to actually heal our

[00:51:41] body from the crap that we put in it you know all these years um I that's that's wonderful

[00:51:48] and that's what we did we started I started to see a holistic doctor I dropped the

[00:51:53] you know regular just family doctor and went to a holistic doctor and we started to just turn

[00:51:59] packages around and read what was on the back what are the ingredients in this and if it had

[00:52:04] anything that was an inflammatory or it you weren't supposed to eat it like it you know

[00:52:11] probably not for human consumption but they say in small amounts it's fine we stopped eating it

[00:52:16] and I can't tell you just how much better all three of us are just eating real food

[00:52:23] eating real food. Gillian, Garden Girls curious what tincture did you start?

[00:52:31] I started a mimosa flower tincture. I saw that I'm so I'm so proud of you and I'm so excited.

[00:52:39] Thank you Jordan I'm proud of myself because I was like okay I know I have this right and y'all

[00:52:46] making this tincture so easy you put the flowers in a jar you put vodka in the jar and you

[00:52:51] just screw the top one and you hide it away in a cold dark place for six weeks

[00:52:56] and shake it every week. It is it's that easy and you could do that with so many things.

[00:53:02] I know I don't know why I was so scared to do this. I think it was red clover same thing red

[00:53:08] clover tincture and that was good for like well it was for the old goat really because he said

[00:53:14] my moods were kind of getting oh you were getting moody so you did it for him mom.

[00:53:19] Yeah so he's like yeah so we planted this whole field of red clover because it's supposed

[00:53:25] to be a natural hormone whatever it is.

[00:53:34] I mean is that it's honestly it's that easy and you can have all kinds of different things

[00:53:40] depending on you know what your body needs so it's not like it's some

[00:53:45] mystical whatever that you have to have do concoctions or whatever yeah and most of the

[00:53:50] you don't have to buy the best vodka either. No that was the best thing it was an eight dollar

[00:53:56] bottle of vodka and a mason jar I had of course I have tons of mason jars and I went on an

[00:54:03] overnight retreat with my sixth and seventh graders and right outside of our cabin was

[00:54:07] a mimosa tree that I've been looking for for a couple of weeks now even asking strangers

[00:54:12] do you mind if I come pick some flowers off of your tree? I promise I'm not a weirdo

[00:54:16] but I'm probably a weirdo yeah but not a real bad one. Well the pharmaceuticals they pull out

[00:54:24] one chemical out of that same thing right and then they can even artificially create it

[00:54:30] but they're taking out the one thing that causes your body to react a certain way

[00:54:34] and when you find it in nature all those buffers for your body the way God intended

[00:54:39] are there. Right nature yeah absolutely so you don't have all the harmful side effects and

[00:54:45] all that stuff going on man I researched it so hard when I was having all my stomach problems

[00:54:50] and they put me on like anti this anti that six different pills every single day yes I was

[00:54:56] like feeling like just I went from working out you know working a 10 hour day working

[00:55:01] out four hours after that to being like on the sofa feeling like I was dying I was like

[00:55:05] that's it I'm nope all this is out the window I went back to nature's medicine we

[00:55:11] solve the problems so there's so much we said for it. Yeah I take a we're going off on a tangent

[00:55:18] but I take a daily supplement from my doctor it's called din and it's something that is found

[00:55:26] in broccoli and it has helped with perimenopause it helps with your hormones and I will I told

[00:55:32] her I was like I you can tell me to get off of it I'm never getting off of this. Don't

[00:55:35] tell Rick about it. I have a whole pantry full of red clover now

[00:55:43] my day my ship is sold now so I'm giving it away for the young girls now. I may be needing both.

[00:55:52] I'll bring you some mimosa you bring me some red clover there you go. I have a swap meet at

[00:55:58] Prepper Counts. Passing tinctures under the table that's what we do at Prepper Counts.

[00:56:05] What do they call that yeah? Oh I love it that's good stuff though it's one of my

[00:56:15] herbal healing is one of the things that really got me into the survival community

[00:56:21] you know because I always grew up hunting fishing gardening that was like country

[00:56:26] lifestyle but when I started doing the herbal medicine that's when people are like oh you're

[00:56:31] a survivalist I'm like what is that yeah what are you talking about what you have a word for

[00:56:37] it now you know a lot of it's just country girl so um yeah that's really where a lot of my

[00:56:44] passions came from so good pick up there Gilliam. Alrighty guys well we have uh pretty

[00:56:52] much just chit chatted away the whole show here and I still gotta do the changing earth news because

[00:56:57] it's been a crazy week of uh earth news so um that's one of the things that really struck me

[00:57:06] over the last couple days is how you said Jane you know nobody's ever really prepared well I

[00:57:11] can tell you that nobody is because when I was looking at the prospect of like oh this CME

[00:57:16] is coming and it really might be a lights out event I was like oh my gosh I still have this

[00:57:22] to do and that to do and this to do and I was saving for this and I was saving for that and

[00:57:27] it could be tomorrow and it could be any tomorrow so like and that's what we get too

[00:57:33] complacent we really do and thank you so much for mentioning that because most people are so

[00:57:39] excited about the beautiful sky that they don't really realize that that's not any of it that

[00:57:48] has nothing to do with what is actually yes behind the curtain which is that our whole

[00:57:54] infrastructure and grid could be taken down by these beautiful red and fuchsia the red

[00:58:01] and the red should not even be there okay that is a horribly bad sign

[00:58:07] and it went all the way down to Puerto Rico first time in over a hundred years

[00:58:14] yeah unheard of yeah especially it wasn't actually like a huge solar event like it

[00:58:21] wasn't as big as a Carrington event obviously but um yeah thank goodness it wasn't but if that

[00:58:27] doesn't open each and every one of our prepper eyes to we can't exclude anything no you cannot

[00:58:35] exclude any thing even though it's remote you can't exclude it you have to have some type of

[00:58:41] contingency for it yeah that's steam engines that's like we wake up tomorrow and it's steam

[00:58:46] engines yeah so that was that was I had my little wake-up call I was like okay there are

[00:58:54] some things that have to get done like right now for sure all right guys so we're gonna jump

[00:59:01] into changing earth news if you want to jump off you are more than welcome to do so at this

[00:59:06] point thank you so much for joining me ladies can I just jump in and say prepper camp

[00:59:12] september 27 through the 29th yes ma'am the tickets we still have some um and that would be

[00:59:20] just going to prepper camp.com and click on the tickets there um as you've heard us all talk about

[00:59:29] nobody's a stranger there you're all community and Sarah thank you so much for inviting us all

[00:59:34] on the show to talk about our experiences and what prepper camp has done for us all

[00:59:40] absolutely it's like my favorite thing so thank you for joining me and just making a fun of it

[00:59:46] we'll have to get everybody together for um an audio drama blooper show get the girls together

[00:59:51] I've been hanging out too much with the guys so we'll have to do that yeah right yeah yeah

[00:59:58] well thank you again you're welcome thank you so much Jane thanks Sarah I'm gonna hop off too

[01:00:04] all righty guys enough all righty bye bye Nicole thanks so much for coming if you

[01:00:11] haven't jumped off yet you did great good to have you on the show all right looks like

[01:00:18] everybody jumped all right Nicole are you still there oh no okay all right guys let's go ahead

[01:00:29] and get into some changing earth news dream survive thrive this is changing earth news

[01:01:01] all right changing earth news so today is may 12 2024 and top news is obviously

[01:01:12] the x class solar flares they even put it in mainstream media news for a change which is

[01:01:18] really unusual for them to do um we had a total of seven x class flares pretty much rapid

[01:01:28] from the sun at the earth we reached a geostorm of kp5 it was very low level kp5 is the highest

[01:01:37] level though there's nothing um really more than when we reach level five of the geostorm

[01:01:44] so um it's just varying degrees from there uh so we did have auroras as we was talking

[01:01:51] about with jane it went all the way down in puerto rico and the crazy is just not over

[01:01:56] with yet this is not just an event where um it just it's gone tomorrow so it's going to wane

[01:02:03] but the earth has been basically supercharged with all this energy so we should see some

[01:02:09] more jet stream activity and um possibly earthquakes volcanic eruptions that kind of

[01:02:16] thing so i've got my eyes on we're checking it out also everybody be extremely aware your

[01:02:22] body is going to feel this solar activity you have an increased rate of a heart attack of stroke

[01:02:30] but also your cognitive abilities are going to be effective you affected you might have noticed

[01:02:34] you had a migraine that kind of thing going on so um give yourself a break anybody who has any

[01:02:41] kind of psychological problems it's going to be worse on these days so that's one of the

[01:02:46] reasons why i watch the sun a lot because when i'm dealing with people all day i want to

[01:02:51] know kind of how are people going to be as far as their mental status goes okay so let's break

[01:02:56] it down on may 5th we had 474 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger the biggest of which was a

[01:03:03] 6.1 in indonesia there was a 6.5 earthquake in japan that left one person dead and 20

[01:03:10] people injured texas we had some massive flooding it was actually just south of where i am

[01:03:16] in the houston area they had about 400 water rescues due to the water level there

[01:03:22] and we've still had more and more weather coming in tanzania also had a flooding event

[01:03:28] when they were hit by a cyclone hedaya and that cyclone also hit kenya and kenya is already

[01:03:35] dealing with flooding so that was more rain for them which did not do good three things

[01:03:40] northern california was hit with a storm they had snow actually up there in the mountain so

[01:03:45] late snow up in the sierras on the 6th of may there was 376 earthquakes or 2.0 or bigger biggest

[01:03:53] of which was a 5.6 in the philippine sea by taiwan there was a 2.2 near the airport in

[01:03:59] charlotte south carolina there was a 3.5 earthquake near edmund oklahoma there was

[01:04:06] flash flooding events in texas that unfortunately a four-year-old lost their life in and then

[01:04:12] 288 people dead homes destroyed roads destroyed bridges destroyed in kenya so this is a

[01:04:20] major event and they need some prayers over there so everybody say a little prayer for all the

[01:04:26] people affected by that flooding over there in kenya lincoln nebraska was hit by a tornado

[01:04:33] and in turkey they had strong storm surges that produced tsunami-like waves in india an

[01:04:40] uterke hand there you have forest fires that are becoming unmanageable they've already lost

[01:04:46] five firefighters to that disaster over a thousand hectares of land have been burned up there

[01:04:54] on the 7th of may there was 390 earthquakes or 2.0 or bigger biggest which was a 5.6 east

[01:05:00] of the south sandwich islands there is a 5.3 earthquake in quinghai province in china did

[01:05:06] some major damage 16 tornadoes hit six states monday night barnsdale oklahoma was particularly

[01:05:15] hard hit they received some major damage there on the 8th of may there was 386 earthquakes that

[01:05:24] were 2.0 or bigger the biggest of which was a 6.1 in vinat two in northern utah there was a

[01:05:31] 4.4 magnitude earthquake with aftershocks utah we're talking yellowstone so we always keep an

[01:05:38] eye on that it's questionable whether yellowstone could really be the disaster that they think it

[01:05:44] is my money is more on campy flagray than than yellowstone and then in arizona they had some

[01:05:54] wildfire sparks up these fires are taken off not contained this time on may 9th there was 350

[01:06:03] earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger biggest of which was a 5.1 of a not two there's a 6.2

[01:06:09] in indonesia and then tennessee experienced some massive flooding on the 9th in the central

[01:06:17] region of that state also northern georgia saw some major flooding on the 5th or on may 10th

[01:06:26] there was 403 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger the biggest of which was a 5.8 in

[01:06:30] the philippine scene near taiwan there was a 5.2 earthquake in chile there was a 5.8 earthquake

[01:06:37] in northern taiwan and then um the philippines saw an earthquake they had 352 homes destroyed

[01:06:45] there in that event in tennessee they had tornadoes tear through the state left three people dead

[01:06:52] and this was some major wind damage even a side of the tornadoes tennessee got particularly hard

[01:06:58] hit that day in uh bunbury australia they also had a tornado put two people in the hospital

[01:07:05] there on the 11th of may there was 361 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger the biggest

[01:07:11] of which was a 5.2 in but not two there was a 7.2 earthquake in china and uh what that one's

[01:07:18] always up in the air um the 5.2 in but not two was the biggest that they put on the usgs

[01:07:26] the 7.2 earthquake that happened in china it comes out of china reporting and then whether

[01:07:31] it happened the day before or that day is always up in question um it's just an interesting

[01:07:37] source but i saw enough information on it to mark it down in hawaii they had flooding due to epic

[01:07:44] rainfall they have some areas saw 19 inches in one area in northern afghanistan they had

[01:07:50] torrential rain flooding killing hundreds of people they definitely need some prayers over

[01:07:55] there big disaster southern brazil has just absolutely been devastated guys we've been

[01:08:02] talking about brazil for months now and i have to do a show on how the sequence of events went

[01:08:10] but the flooding has just not abated in southern brazil they have lost a lot of

[01:08:16] crop land they have 240 000 people displaced still doing water rescues the water is still

[01:08:23] coming um definitely a big situation going on down there and it's really going to hamper

[01:08:29] the global food production uh because a lot of stuff's grown in brazil

[01:08:35] uh port portage michigan was hit with a tornado on the 11th um in the united states we have had

[01:08:42] 105 tornadoes since monday across the country uh finley pennsylvania was another area that

[01:08:50] was devastated by tornadoes and then in delhi india they have a they had a massive

[01:08:56] sandstorm two people died six injured in that event and then um in bc they already have wildfires

[01:09:04] going again they're having a big evacuation event today so lots of news about that even today

[01:09:11] may 12th there were 367 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger biggest of which was a 6.2 in the

[01:09:18] north pacific ocean near mexico guangdong china their flooding is also getting worse

[01:09:24] there millions of people at risk uh they're the water is not subsided there either and then the

[01:09:32] u.s has seen more rain in the south today so we'll have to see what happens with that so you can

[01:09:36] see that the flooding levels have really really spiked up because of the solar activity this

[01:09:41] past week as far as volcanic activity we have 33 volcanoes erupting which is still really

[01:09:49] high numbers haven't come down that's still the highest i've reported of active volcanoes on our

[01:09:55] planet no change from two weeks ago we have 21 showing minor activity and 27 showing unrest so

[01:10:03] they really haven't gone anywhere since we reported on it two weeks ago as far as

[01:10:09] wildfires in the united states we have 8 965 acres actively burning right now that's

[01:10:16] coming from six fires two of them are contained in arizona they have three new fires totaling

[01:10:22] 4923 acres none of those are contained in oregon we have one new fire totaling 3278 acres

[01:10:32] none of those are contained in florida they have one fire 464 acres that is not contained

[01:10:39] and in mississippi there's one new fire 300 acres total and that fire is not contained either

[01:10:47] all righty guys well that's all we have for you tonight thank you for sticking around for a
