[00:00:25] [SPEAKER_06]: Not too long ago, two friends of mine were talking to a Cuban refugee, a businessman who
[00:00:30] [SPEAKER_06]: would escape from Castro.
[00:00:32] [SPEAKER_06]: And in the midst of his story, one of my friends turned to the other and said, we don't know
[00:00:35] [SPEAKER_06]: how lucky we are.
[00:00:36] [SPEAKER_06]: And the Cuban stopped and said, how lucky you are.
[00:00:40] [SPEAKER_06]: I had some place to escape to.
[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_06]: And in that sentence he told us the entire story.
[00:00:46] [SPEAKER_06]: If we lose freedom here, there's no place to escape to.
[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_06]: This is the last stand on earth.
[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_05]: This is the last stand on earth.
[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_05]: The last stand on earth.
[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_01]: You are now listening to the Patriot Power Hour.
[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_01]: This live episode features the situational awareness you need to practice self-reliance
[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_01]: and independence.
[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Introducing your hosts, Ben the Breaker of Banksters and Future Dan, the editor of FutureDanger.com.
[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Patriot Power Hour, we are live.
[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_04]: It's August 14th, 2024.
[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_04]: This is episode 274.
[00:02:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Ben the Breaker of Banksters here with Future Dan.
[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, Ben, it's great to be back.
[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't like a single part of this show's, the nature of the headlines.
[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't want any of them to ever happen.
[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_03]: But I love doing the show with you because they are happening and we need to talk about them.
[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_04]: We do.
[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_04]: We will.
[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_04]: We shall.
[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Good news is there's not too much news, especially compared to the last month.
[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_04]: It's almost exactly, actually it is.
[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the 14th of August, so it's been just a little over one month since Trump's narrow
[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_04]: miss.
[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Now we do have some more false flag exposed news that will get into.
[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_04]: It's come out in the past week.
[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_04]: But one month later, what has been a surprise and maybe what has not been a surprise
[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_04]: with how things have proceeded?
[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Nothing.
[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Nothing.
[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_03]: It's going into that dormant period.
[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_03]: I think if there's conspiracy, the conspiracers are in that mode of prevent and detection.
[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, this will be the period where if they had exposure, it's going to come out.
[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Or it can come out in 50 years as well.
[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll see.
[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_03]: But I just great to be back and broadcasting in August of 2024.
[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Thank God Trump hasn't been shot since, right?
[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_03]: So we were in the midst of a somewhat related conversation, I guess you could say, right
[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_03]: before we got on there, which is the upcoming fast on a broadcasting network.
[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Can you tell me what you're up to and trying to accomplish?
[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_04]: So last week I flew solo on PPH and at the last five minutes or so, I talked a little bit
[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_04]: about fasting and also just generally getting your metabolism and body ready for SHTF conditions,
[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_04]: which will mean very little food, maybe no food for quite a while.
[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_04]: And also doing physical work while you have little to no food for multiple days.
[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_04]: So I've been working on improving my resiliency and hardening my body and all that.
[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_04]: And mine, really it's mine.
[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_04]: We'll get into that.
[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_04]: But I've been working on that especially the last few months, but really I've been
[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_04]: on that journey for a while as a prepper as well.
[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_04]: But anyway, I talked about that and NBC guy and the trepid commander himself, James Walton
[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_04]: said, hell, let's turn this into a challenge.
[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_04]: We've done a few challenges on this network feature Dan.
[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_04]: And the next one is a 72 plus hour fast.
[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_03]: So before we get into that to sort of set the agenda for episode 274 before we forget
[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_03]: what I was last on air with you two weeks ago, we were in the midst of talking Bitcoin
[00:05:56] [SPEAKER_03]: and how to have it encrypted on a thumb drive where you co hold the key self custody as
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_03]: we were discussing about and started, you know, just scratch the surface on the topic
[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_03]: of how to trade the highs and lows if it's possible to take a position in Bitcoin
[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_03]: and then increase it or improve it.
[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_03]: So for the end of this show, I'd like to touch into those two topics, but I want to hear more
[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_03]: about 72 hours plus.
[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_03]: How do you get yourself in condition so that you could do that without suffering immediate
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_03]: consequences?
[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_03]: What symptoms come forth while you're fasting and how long before they don't bother you
[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_03]: anymore?
[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm interested in all of this.
[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_03]: I've never fasted myself.
[00:06:50] [SPEAKER_03]: And also, I've never spoken to someone who has.
[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Nice.
[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_04]: All right, let's do it.
[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_04]: We're definitely going to get the news in the second segment, but like we were talking
[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_04]: about a little quiet.
[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_04]: So we'll take our time to talk about this.
[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_04]: We got some other great topics tonight as well.
[00:07:04] [SPEAKER_04]: So it won't be a lack of content on Patriot Power Hour.
[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_04]: So let's see.
[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I first fasted.
[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, okay, let's set maybe some rules here.
[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_04]: I consider prolonged fasting.
[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's call it that to be at least 36 hours, right?
[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_04]: They call it intermittent fasting, maybe like 24 hours or maybe you fast 20 hours and then
[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_04]: you eat four hours a day, like one meal a day or a couple of meals in a small window.
[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_04]: And that's actually the first thing I would suggest people do if they've always
[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_04]: eaten three plus meals a day and really never gone more than a day without food,
[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_04]: like consolidate your eating window to eight hours, six hours, maybe even four hours.
[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_04]: If you can for a month straight not eat 20 hours a day and then eat that four
[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_04]: hour window, which I would suggest between about three to seven p.m.
[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_04]: So not too early, not too late.
[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, a few hours before you go to sleep, you want to stop eating.
[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I suggest doing that and that'll really help get your system ready to fast and it
[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_04]: actually does a lot of the same benefits.
[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_04]: It's almost like the cheap man's easy man's fast is to just change that part
[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_04]: and it will help with a lot of your metabolism and blood sugars and hormones.
[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Just that itself could make a difference in his.
[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_04]: That's like some basic training and some tips I would suggest,
[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_04]: but it takes a little while, especially if you like wake up and eat breakfast at
[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_04]: 7 a.m. every day of your life and then you eat a snack and then you eat at lunch
[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_04]: and then you eat a snack and then you eat at dinner and then you eat a snack
[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_04]: and then you eat some chips and some ice cream and then you go to sleep.
[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Like it's way harder to go from that to fasting rather than eating just
[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_04]: in a three, four, five hour period.
[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_03]: What are the symptoms you got to endure to do it?
[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, there's actually a lot and they come in different waves and I would say the first,
[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_04]: well okay, first off the symptoms come in waves but I feel like the benefits
[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_04]: come in waves too.
[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_04]: So there's times where you feel better than ever.
[00:09:20] [SPEAKER_04]: You haven't eaten for 36, 48 hours.
[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_04]: You're just on a high.
[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_04]: You're very clear.
[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_04]: You're able to like you can exercise pretty much the same levels.
[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_04]: So there's like kind of certain peaks and valleys and sometimes you feel pretty low.
[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_04]: I feel like I've done a 72 hour fast a few times but I'm not like some super expert.
[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I've done it a few times in the last few months and my worst feeling was probably about
[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_04]: our 56 to 60 because that's when you really are totally out of glycogen stores.
[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_04]: You're totally out of any calories to be burned except for pretty much your body fat or your muscle.
[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_04]: And if you do this right, it's going to be a great majority fat.
[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_04]: You will lose a little muscle for sure and especially the longer you go but so the worst,
[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_04]: I feel like the worst point that I've done is about our 60 but you bounce back from that.
[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_04]: But I feel like there's several different, you know, we can go through each kind of window
[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_04]: and we'll be talking about that on Preppers Live as well.
[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_04]: But that's where, last thing I want to say before maybe if you had any other questions
[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_04]: or want to expand on that is you can get away with that first 24 hours.
[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_04]: You don't feel any negative or very little negative impact.
[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_04]: If you're used to not eating for 16, 18, 20 hours and then having your meal,
[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_04]: your body kind of like the circadian rhythm though.
[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Like if you're used to having your first and only meal at like 5, 6 p.m.
[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_04]: for about half an hour around that time, you are going to be really hungry.
[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to hit you.
[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_04]: I used to smoke cigarettes. I don't anymore.
[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_04]: It's been a while, nasty habit but it's almost like a cigarette urge.
[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_04]: You're like, oh, I got to eat, I got to eat, I got to eat.
[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_04]: And then about 20, 30 minutes later, if you can last through that,
[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_04]: you're not hungry for at least another 12 hours.
[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm telling you so that's kind of that first window.
[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_04]: After that, you're not really too hungry in the second 36 hours
[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_04]: but there are times where you kind of feel a little nauseous
[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_04]: or maybe a little white-headed but if you do the right things,
[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_04]: it's not too bad and those two, those pass as well.
[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_04]: So again, it's like waves of good and bad
[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_04]: and sometimes better than other
[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_04]: and probably each person is different
[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_04]: but actually you don't really get that hungry
[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_04]: except for at about hour 16 to 24.
[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_04]: You kind of want some food. I'll tell you that.
[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_03]: What about your stomach growling?
[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_04]: That's actually something I really was concerned about when I started off
[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_04]: because I was like, oh, I'm just going to get all this acid in my stomach
[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_04]: so I'm going to get a sixth stomach or it's going to growl.
[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_04]: It really doesn't happen much
[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_04]: and I'm drinking black coffee straight.
[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_04]: So on my fast, I drink a fair amount of water
[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_04]: and then I have some salt and potassium
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_04]: and other minerals but no sugar at all
[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_04]: and no sweeteners either.
[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Just like salt, potassium, magnesium
[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_04]: and a couple other things.
[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_04]: So I was really worried that I'd be drinking all this coffee
[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_04]: and stuff and not eating in my stomach would be growling and hurting
[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_04]: but at least mine, no problem at all.
[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_03]: So the first time someone attempted something like this,
[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_03]: they should build up to it.
[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Like what kind of, how far should you go without eating
[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_03]: and for how long should you go
[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_03]: and how often should you have done that amount of time
[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_03]: before you attempted to go on for 72 hours?
[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_04]: What I did, I'm no doctor so no medical advice
[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_04]: but what I did is about 36 to 40 hours.
[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_04]: I did that successfully a few times
[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_04]: before I tried to go further.
[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_04]: So my whole plan was, hey,
[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_04]: I can go the whole day without eating and go to sleep.
[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_04]: So that's 24 hours plus sleep, right?
[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_04]: So let's just say, I don't know, if you roll it all together
[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_04]: if you can go that first day without eating
[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_04]: and then you can sleep 7, 8, 9, 10 hours
[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_04]: all of a sudden you're at hour like 30, 34, 36.
[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_04]: So at least myself, I don't get very hungry in the morning
[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_04]: almost no matter what.
[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Some people do.
[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I haven't eaten breakfast very often in my life though
[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_04]: so it could be different for people
[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_04]: but for that first 4 to 6 hours in the morning
[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_04]: I wasn't hungry anyway.
[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_04]: So I'm already at hour 36
[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_04]: and then cruising to hour 40, 42 is pretty easy
[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_04]: but then by about hour 42
[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_04]: maybe I started to feel a little weak
[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_04]: or just not so great.
[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_04]: I was like okay, hey I did 40 hours, I'm good.
[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_04]: So I strung together a few successful 40 hours
[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_04]: and then I'm like alright, I'm going for the big one.
[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah totally.
[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_03]: I did the last 36 hours of Ranger school with no food
[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_03]: but I also did it with no sleep.
[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_03]: It was on the 9 1⁄2 and 10th day of the third phase
[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_03]: and I was telling you earlier in the show
[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I did eat when that was over
[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_03]: and had a meal and then fortunately found out
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_03]: I was graduating so very happy day
[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_03]: and I ate as much as I could
[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_03]: now I was obviously younger
[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_03]: and maybe the metabolism factor explains it
[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_03]: but I had no problem eating until I was full
[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_03]: so you talked to me earlier about that's not a good idea
[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_03]: and I would agree probably in civilian regular condition
[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_03]: that's probably good move to not gorge yourself.
[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_03]: I could manage it then but perhaps not now.
[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_03]: How do you handle it?
[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Great question.
[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_04]: I've done the best or the worst of both worlds.
[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm still somewhat undecided
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_04]: so I have somewhat gorged myself.
[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't literally eat everything I could as quickly as I could
[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_04]: but let's just say I put down a few thousand calories
[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_04]: of healthy food not like McDonald's and shit
[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_04]: but like macadamia nuts, hamburger, blah blah blah blah blah
[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_04]: like relatively healthy stuff no sugar
[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_04]: and I felt like I could eat a heck of a lot more even
[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_04]: so you can do that
[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_04]: or what they say, you know what folks suggest
[00:15:52] [SPEAKER_04]: I've done my fair amount of research written as well as YouTube, video, etc.
[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_04]: You gotta kind of warm that system up
[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_04]: especially if you're going 72 plus hours
[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_04]: so they suggest maybe some beef broth
[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_04]: and then an hour later have a few scrambled eggs
[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_04]: and then maybe an hour later you can have a full meal
[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_04]: something like that just to get your acids flowing
[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_04]: just to kind of like get the machinery running again
[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_04]: so I'm pretty sure you know as a ranger
[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_04]: or you know your ranger school is just about to graduate
[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_04]: it was fine, your body was like
[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't think I need to warm up
[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_04]: I'll eat whatever the hell I want
[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_04]: and think about our ancestors
[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_04]: they often went many hours even days without eating
[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_04]: and then when they actually got a kill
[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_04]: right they would gorge themselves
[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure they weren't like
[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_04]: okay let me eat four ounces of protein
[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_04]: and wait 30 minutes
[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_04]: and then have a little bit of fat blah blah blah
[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_04]: It's optimized perhaps scientifically
[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_04]: and the older you get
[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure you have less resiliency
[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_04]: but our bodies are meant not to eat
[00:16:55] [SPEAKER_04]: for a couple days, a few days
[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_04]: and hopefully bounce back pretty quick you know
[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah and for anybody who's seen
[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_03]: the documentaries or the fiction
[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_03]: a great example is one of the episodes
[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_03]: in Band of Brothers
[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_03]: when they came upon the holocaust camps
[00:17:15] [SPEAKER_03]: they gave, they didn't know this
[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_03]: they gave the survivors that were there
[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_03]: you know all they could eat
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_03]: and in the scene in that
[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Band of Brothers episode
[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_03]: the doctor you know realized what they were doing
[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_03]: and be like no no take the food back
[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_03]: you can't do that
[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_03]: they're not going to hold it down
[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_03]: it's going to hurt them worse
[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_03]: so I guess it's a function of time
[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_03]: the longer you go
[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_03]: the more you got to warm that up
[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_03]: but you're saying even after 72 hours
[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_03]: you're going to take a little precaution
[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_03]: to come out of it
[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah I would and
[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_04]: it's relative, I think
[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_04]: it's what you eat as much as how much
[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_04]: you eat so
[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_04]: chugging a can of Mountain Dew
[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_04]: and then eating you know
[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_04]: some McDonald's with some seed oils
[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_04]: and you know a bunch of bread
[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_04]: and just cram it
[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_04]: you know carbs definitely will spike
[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_04]: your blood sugar so a big part of
[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_04]: well big part of disease these days
[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_04]: heart disease and otherwise
[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_04]: strokes etc you know
[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_04]: high blood pressure
[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_04]: and diabetes are huge factors
[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_04]: to lots and lots of deaths
[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_04]: and that's pretty much related to
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_04]: overeating sugar and carbs
[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_04]: so I'm currently keto
[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to be keto the rest of my life
[00:18:34] [SPEAKER_04]: but I pretty much don't eat any bread
[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_04]: or noodles or anything like that
[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I eat vegetables and fruits for sure
[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_04]: but I think it's important
[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_04]: not to eat processed carbs at least
[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_04]: don't eat a bunch of sugar
[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_04]: that night after you're done fasting
[00:18:48] [SPEAKER_04]: and you know if you can help it
[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_04]: try to eat a small portion
[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_04]: and then wait an hour or two
[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_04]: but it's hard though
[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_04]: trust me like it's mental
[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_04]: most of this is mental but actually one of the hardest parts
[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_04]: is once you start eating after a fast
[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_04]: like it's super hard not to keep going
[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_04]: because your body's like alright
[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_04]: bring on the buffet you know what I mean
[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_03]: now a big family alone show
[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_03]: and the season is ongoing
[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_03]: is in my opinion one of the best ever
[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_03]: and you watched a season
[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_03]: an episode few weeks ago with me
[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_03]: and they're talking about
[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_03]: well after three days
[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_03]: well after five days
[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_03]: there's a zone for many days where
[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_03]: you just stop thinking about the food
[00:19:34] [SPEAKER_03]: but now you're shedding the muscle mass
[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_03]: and the fat in you know at a certain point
[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_03]: you know they call it on that
[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_03]: television show the starvation game
[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean you know you're starving
[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_03]: at that point have you ever contemplated
[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_03]: or maybe I should say this one
[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I know you have contemplated
[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_03]: but where is the limit
[00:19:55] [SPEAKER_03]: where when the body starts
[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_03]: breaking down the muscle
[00:20:00] [SPEAKER_03]: right because I remember at Ranger School
[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_03]: when that started happening to everybody
[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_03]: and we just smelled like ammonia
[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_03]: like you just stunk of it
[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_03]: because the muscles were burning away
[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_03]: so I spoke to you
[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_03]: and you introduced this segment
[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_03]: your answer to my question
[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_03]: is segment with 72 hours plus
[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_03]: so what kind of plus do you think
[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_03]: you might reach for
[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_03]: and what kind of trade off are you willing to make
[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_03]: because at some point the muscles
[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_03]: are getting burned off
[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_04]: so I have the research I've done
[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_04]: is from a lot of different angles
[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I've researched what bodybuilders say
[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_04]: and I've also researched what
[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_04]: doctors put out there about fasting
[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_04]: and they have different objectives
[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_04]: right but I feel like
[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_04]: they have very similar results
[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_04]: so like the data plays out
[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_04]: whether you're a doctor trying to find health
[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_04]: or your bodybuilder that doesn't really care about health
[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_04]: you just want to get ripped as hell
[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_04]: and not lose muscle
[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_04]: and when I kind of correlate that in my brain
[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_04]: or I guess collate that in my brain
[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_04]: less than 36 hours fast
[00:21:11] [SPEAKER_04]: especially if you're not
[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_04]: having much sugar in your diet
[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_04]: will be almost all
[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_04]: body fat burned
[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_04]: and then after that from 36 hours plus
[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_04]: slowly but surely
[00:21:24] [SPEAKER_04]: more and more muscle gets burned up
[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_04]: and maybe at some point it hits equilibrium
[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_04]: and goes from there
[00:21:30] [SPEAKER_04]: I'll say a lot of this would depend
[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_04]: on how much physical activity you do too though
[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_04]: so if you're like in ranger school
[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_04]: and didn't eat for 36 hours
[00:21:39] [SPEAKER_04]: you're already burning a whole bunch of muscle
[00:21:42] [SPEAKER_04]: as opposed to if you're just sitting
[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_04]: watching TV for 36 hours
[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_03]: so in the
[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_03]: proper broadcasting challenge coming up
[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_03]: how much past 32 hours
[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_03]: could you contemplate going
[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_03]: before you just don't want to make that sacrifice
[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_03]: on losing muscle mass
[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_04]: well for the network and the show
[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_04]: and just to extend my all-time record
[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_04]: maybe I'll be willing to lose a little bit of muscle mass
[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_04]: so this time around
[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm definitely going 72 hours
[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I was contemplating going into the next day
[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_04]: if I made it like 96 hours
[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_04]: I could make it to the next Patriot Power Hour
[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_04]: I've never gone more than 74-75
[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_04]: I stretched it slightly past 72
[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_04]: like I felt like I was on a marathon
[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_04]: like just go another 10 minutes, another 20 minutes
[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_04]: so it's not easy at all
[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_04]: but we'll see
[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm definitely going the full 72 hours
[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_04]: and that's gonna start this Friday after dinner
[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna start it at like
[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_04]: maybe 6 p.m. eastern
[00:22:49] [SPEAKER_04]: on Friday will be my last
[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_04]: you know food, last calorie intake
[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_04]: and then yeah
[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_04]: I think Preppers Live will be like 7 p.m.
[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_04]: on the 19th on Monday
[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_04]: so that'll be like 73-74 hours in
[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_04]: and then I think after the show
[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm just gonna go to sleep
[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_04]: and wake up and work
[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_04]: I can work from home that day hopefully
[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_04]: and then I'll be on like hour
[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_04]: 85
[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_04]: question is how am I gonna feel that day
[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_04]: I've never made it to that
[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_04]: midday of that fourth day
[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know how I'll be feeling
[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_04]: here's one, here's a cheat that I
[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_04]: do the first couple days
[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_04]: but I don't know if I can maintain it
[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_04]: is I go for a pretty rigorous
[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_04]: tough hike through the woods
[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_04]: I put about 30 pound pack on
[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_04]: and go running up and down some stuff
[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_04]: burn about 500 calories
[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_04]: in about 45 minutes
[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_04]: so it's pretty intense
[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_04]: not super crazy but you're going relatively fast
[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_04]: in tons of hills and weight on me
[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_04]: so anyway after that
[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_04]: for 4, 6, 8 hours
[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_04]: I feel great and I'm not hungry at all
[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_04]: so I do that like the first couple days
[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_04]: of my fast but by day 4
[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't think I'll have the energy
[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_04]: to go on
[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I think I'll be
[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_04]: dragging ass so maybe I'll go on
[00:24:08] [SPEAKER_04]: like a light walk and try to get some of those same
[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_04]: effects
[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_04]: because last thing we gotta go to
[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_04]: break then we're gonna news Blitz
[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_04]: we can talk a little more of this and some other stuff too but
[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_04]: mental is the problem
[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_04]: like you don't even feel very hungry
[00:24:22] [SPEAKER_04]: after the first 24 hours
[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_04]: but you're like looking forward to that
[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_04]: treat it's like Pavlovian
[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_04]: or like where's my reward
[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_04]: I just got done
[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_04]: working for a few hours why can't I
[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_04]: eat or you know oh it's Friday
[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_04]: afternoon or it's Saturday morning
[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_04]: I want some pancakes like that's my tradition
[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_04]: where's my donuts no you're fasting
[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_04]: so like that mental
[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_04]: come down of oh
[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't get it
[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_04]: like that's actually sometimes worse
[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_04]: but again I quit smoking
[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_04]: cigarettes it's almost similar to that
[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_04]: like you know after
[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_04]: drinking a cup of coffee
[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_04]: you want a cigarette and
[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_04]: that's the mental part
[00:25:01] [SPEAKER_04]: in association with other tasks
[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_04]: is a big thing and you know
[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_04]: fasting hopefully if
[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_04]: you have a wife
[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_04]: a husband a girlfriend boyfriend
[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_04]: or even just a friend that's a roommate
[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_04]: hopefully you could do it together
[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_04]: or avoid each other
[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_04]: because yeah it's not so easy
[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_04]: to fast when people are around you eating though
[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I'll say that
[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_03]: right right well we did as your highland
[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_03]: and we did as your highland
[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_03]: to dark trail march
[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_03]: then we did as your highland
[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_03]: toffa ghetto
[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_03]: and
[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_03]: the point of those exercises
[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_03]: was to challenge ourselves
[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_03]: in conditions that
[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_03]: we may very well face
[00:25:43] [SPEAKER_03]: in
[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_03]: a grid down collapse
[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_03]: scenario
[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_03]: and certainly I can't take a one
[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_03]: that is more basic
[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_03]: and more
[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_03]: you know
[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_03]: to be able to be anticipated
[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_03]: then the potential
[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_03]: that you have to go out of food
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_03]: for extended periods of time
[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_03]: not sure I'm ready to join you on this one
[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_03]: but we'd love to interview
[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_03]: you a week from tonight after
[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_03]: 120 hours Ben
[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna do my best to make that mark
[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_04]: so that on
[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_04]: pp hour next week
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm still fasted at 120 hours
[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I'll do it safely
[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_04]: I'll pull the ripcord if I need to
[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_04]: but I'm gonna make a real effort for it
[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_04]: and uh
[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna push that envelope
[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_04]: maybe kinda like the end of summer
[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_04]: cut
[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_04]: something like that but I'll do it safely
[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_04]: and you know what I mean
[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_04]: screw it let's do it baby
[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I'll be back next week
[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_04]: God willing I'll be fasted for pp
[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_04]: alright we're going to break folks
[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_04]: stick with us we're gonna do the dashboard
[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_04]: and uh
[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_04]: we could
[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_04]: while we're listening to a couple of nice commercials
[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_04]: I will regret
[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_04]: the commitment I just made
[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_04]: but I'm a man of my word
[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna stick to it so goshdag it
[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_04]: I might have to work from home
[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_04]: the first few days though
[00:27:11] [SPEAKER_04]: alright anyway I'm looking forward to it
[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_04]: uh it is a huge
[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_04]: huge ability
[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_04]: and almost a skill
[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_04]: to do I think as a prepper so
[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_04]: whether it's 16 hours or 120
[00:27:24] [SPEAKER_03]: but no one you could
[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_03]: do it again if you had to
[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_03]: and if you have to again no one
[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I've done this before I can make it through it
[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_03]: that could be very
[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_03]: valuable on the outside
[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_04]: very true it shifts the window
[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I used to think 36 hours would be
[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_04]: impossible now I'm like
[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_04]: 72 hours it's not even that hard
[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_04]: let's go 120
[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_04]: so it definitely
[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_04]: proves your resiliency if you do it the right way
[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_04]: again it is dangerous if you do it the wrong
[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_04]: way you gotta hydrate gotta have the right
[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_04]: stuff and consult your doctor
[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_04]: if you already have like diabetes
[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_04]: and stuff like that because it's dangerous
[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_04]: if you're not healthy already
[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_04]: to go too hard on it
[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_03]: so I tell you what
[00:28:03] [SPEAKER_03]: if you're into the 90s
[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_03]: moving past
[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_03]: 100 hours next week
[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_03]: you just let me know
[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_03]: we're gonna do it broadcast live
[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_03]: and I will bring you
[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_03]: the meal of your choosing
[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_03]: made the way you want it
[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_03]: maybe like a big
[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_03]: fresh seared ahi tuna steak
[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_03]: if you want that
[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_03]: and uh
[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_03]: and I'll pull in
[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_03]: and do a joint live show
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_03]: and you can enjoy that meal at the end
[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_04]: yes at the end
[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_04]: that's the key because as soon as I eat it
[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_04]: I want to eat more and I'll get sleepy too
[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_04]: so
[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_03]: but only after the news blitz
[00:28:42] [SPEAKER_03]: only after the news blitz next week
[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_04]: alright damn it
[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_04]: it's gonna be a great end to the summer
[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_04]: folks
[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_04]: we'll be right back got a couple commercials
[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_04]: support
[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_04]: prepper broadcasting network
[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_04]: pbnfamily.com
[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_04]: and our sponsors
[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_04]: be right back with the news blitz

[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_02]: bioterrorism response
[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_02]: radiation
[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_02]: and how to build the off-grid
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_02]: medical kit
[00:30:15] [SPEAKER_02]: at home
[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_02]: look 2020 taught us a lot
[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_02]: about the limitations of our medical infrastructure
[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_02]: in America
[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_02]: get the preppers medical handbook
[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_02]: today
[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_02]: at amazon.com
[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_02]: again that's the preppers medical handbook
[00:30:29] [SPEAKER_02]: by wiliam w40
[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_04]: patriot power
[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_04]: hour time for the news blitz
[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_04]: 14th of august
[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_04]: 2024
[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_04]: episode 2 7
[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_04]: for
[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_04]: let's roll
[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_04]: relatively quiet we do have some very important
[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_04]: new information coming out
[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_04]: on the trump
[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_04]: assassination attempts so we'll get to those at the end
[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_04]: let's start with
[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_04]: federal government
[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_04]: borrowing 5 billion
[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_04]: b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b billion
[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_04]: with a B as in bravo
[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_04]: a day
[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_04]: 5 billion a day
[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_04]: fiscal year 2024
[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_04]: starting october 1 of last year
[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_04]: till now i believe
[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_04]: so 5 billion a day
[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_04]: federal government records
[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_04]: 2nd biggest July deficit in history
[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_04]: as 25% of tax
[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_04]: revenue goes to pay the
[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_04]: interest on the national debt
[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_04]: So one quarter of tax revenues paying interest right now. That's pretty crazy
[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_04]: and the deficit i.e. how much is being added to the debt second biggest in all
[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_04]: time in July. Yeah otherwise economically Bitcoin is well this past week it's
[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_04]: stable but the week before had a bit of a crash just after we were talking
[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_04]: about it on the show went down from about 65,000 to 50,000 but right now it's
[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_04]: about 59,000 you could have bought it at 50k and been up you know 20% in the past
[00:32:13] [SPEAKER_04]: few days but it's a dangerous game be careful I buy a little bit in a hole just
[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_04]: like gold and silver gold at 2,448 silver at just under 28 bucks oil 77 so there
[00:32:30] [SPEAKER_04]: has been a little volatility but overall things haven't moved too much this summer
[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_04]: up or down equity markets yeah they had a bit of a crash to start August but
[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_04]: they've mostly bounced back even Japan regained a fair amount of what they drop
[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_04]: so we're always watching for this economic collapse it seems like it'll be
[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_04]: any day but it's not today let's keep going Ukrainian nuclear plant engulfed in
[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_04]: flames amid combat not a meltdown thankfully but always watching Russia of
[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_04]: course pushed into Ukraine or excuse me Ukraine pushed into Russia proper and
[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_04]: there's a nuclear plant near Kursk where they're attacking is that an objective
[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_04]: of theirs that's something else to watch on that that was a different nuclear
[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_04]: plant by the way multiple nuclear plants in the war zone and within you know
[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_04]: spit distance 10 of the deadliest superbugs worrying scientists you can
[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_04]: go into live science calm got the link right here and they have the very detailed
[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Latin derivatives of a lot of the strains and superbugs viruses and bacteria
[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_04]: but they also have an explanation and links to articles by the WHO so if you
[00:33:59] [SPEAKER_04]: want to try to get ahead of what might be the next major pandemic check that
[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_04]: out now false flag exposed more and more information coming out daily if you
[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_04]: haven't seen this yet butler cop butler Pennsylvania cop on body cam says he
[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_04]: told secret service to cover the warehouse used by shooter and they
[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_04]: agreed I told him to use to cover that warehouse to cover that roof last
[00:34:30] [SPEAKER_04]: week I'm pretty sure was the exact quote congressional special committee for
[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Trump shooting seeks documents and briefings records show Trump shooters
[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_04]: trips to DHS linked gun range some indicate he had company so he wasn't
[00:34:49] [SPEAKER_04]: going in there on the range himself so more and more being added to the the
[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_04]: scale of let it happen on purpose or maybe even make it happen on purpose
[00:35:04] [SPEAKER_04]: future day and that's the news blitz not much I mean each one of those is
[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_04]: important we can talk about but from a volume standpoint it's not too much
[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_04]: crazy stuff going on right now at least future day are you there
[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_03]: hopefully I didn't freeze no we're good we're good I'm back yeah okay there's
[00:35:30] [SPEAKER_03]: more there's more there's more coming on the false flag exposed and I saw
[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_03]: something on social media indicating Trump has vowed to return to butler
[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Pennsylvania in October so yeah I like to break down on the assets that you
[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_03]: gave us and it kind of segues back to what I mentioned earlier in the show
[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_03]: and we were talking about two shows ago so I could say that I don't want to put
[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_03]: you on the spot but I probably do it all the time on the page your power are
[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_03]: so you're pretty good on the spot though so let's let's do that again
[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_03]: self-custody and limit orders we kind of scratch the surface but I gotta be
[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_03]: honest I didn't take away actionable like how do I do either okay from our episode
[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_03]: a few weeks ago so maybe we could pick it up there let's do it let's start with
[00:36:36] [SPEAKER_04]: self-custody it's once you already have bitcoin however you got it did someone
[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_04]: send it to you did you mine it yourself with a minor which is advanced and cost
[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_04]: money but people do some bitcoin mining or did you buy it from an exchange using your
[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_04]: fiat currency there's different ways to get bitcoin but once you get it however you get it
[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_04]: you can either leave it with an exchange think of that as like with the bank right
[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_04]: I highly suggest not doing that the alternative which is the equivalent of hiding
[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_04]: your money under the mattress but it's superior in many ways but if you don't hold it you don't own it
[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_04]: if you don't have the private keys to your hardware wallet or your bitcoin account then you don't
[00:37:29] [SPEAKER_04]: own it but you can with self-custody so the easiest way to self-custody is you can purchase
[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_04]: a hardware wallet there's a lot of reputable ones out there that have pretty much open source
[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_04]: code and a lot of people have tried to break them and see if they can
[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_04]: you know scam scam them and and they don't last uh the hackers that is they're not able to with
[00:37:58] [SPEAKER_04]: properly constructed hardware wallets what those wallets do is use an algorithm and a cipher
[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_04]: essentially a reverse cipher actually to create a unique bitcoin address and the associated keys
[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_04]: there are more potential possible bitcoin keys in the algorithm than there are
[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_04]: grains of sand in the Sahara desert and actually it's like billions of times more than that
[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_04]: you know i'm doing a pretty piss poor job of explaining it but there is
[00:38:42] [SPEAKER_04]: trillion one trillion dollars times one trillion times one trillion times one trillion times one
[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_04]: trillion possible combinations and it's impossible to randomly guess them is my point got guys so
[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_03]: that's secure that way but can you give me a how-to i buy one of these hardware wallets
[00:39:01] [SPEAKER_03]: does it come with the bitcoin keys holding a certain amount on the blockchain how do you get
[00:39:10] [SPEAKER_03]: how do you get it onto your wallet how do you get it out of your hardware wallet like the mechanics man
[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_04]: so when you the hardware wallet comes with nothing on it in terms of actual bitcoin
[00:39:22] [SPEAKER_04]: you have to set up the wallet with your secret password and then send your bitcoin to your
[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_04]: wallet and the wallets of thumb drive yes now if you memorize the password which is between 12 and
[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_04]: 36 words in a row unique words if you can memorize it or write it down on a piece of paper and you
[00:39:43] [SPEAKER_04]: actually don't need the wallet the piece of hardware but it's simpler to have the hardware
[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_04]: and you need to generate that super secret password i was talking about and you can
[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_03]: either do that pencil or with that but before we do this what hardware do you need you gotta have a
[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_03]: pc a phone like how are you connecting to the blockchain you can do it by shortwave radio
[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_04]: technically but you know 99 percent of people will connect it through their pc or laptop
[00:40:21] [SPEAKER_04]: but you don't trust that there's ways to connect to the bitcoin network without going
[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_04]: through a computer or through windows you can even like a third party no no website how do you
[00:40:33] [SPEAKER_03]: have like all right say i'm sitting there behind my laptop what do i do where do i go so you have
[00:40:41] [SPEAKER_04]: your wallet and there's two paths there's pretty much two addresses one is your secret password
[00:40:46] [SPEAKER_04]: the other is public and that's what you give people say hey send me bitcoin to this address
[00:40:53] [SPEAKER_04]: or of course you can send your own bitcoin to this address and that's the public address so that's
[00:40:59] [SPEAKER_04]: equivalent to you know your email address or hey send send me a zell payment to my phone number
[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_04]: everybody knows that number and it's fine you can publish it everywhere people put their public
[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_04]: bitcoin address on their website in their twitter or whatever on their storefront so
[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_04]: you send your own bitcoin to that address or other people send their bitcoin to that address and
[00:41:24] [SPEAKER_04]: then that's now it's in your hardware wallet and no one has access to it except for you
[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_03]: so i'm connecting to an exchange i got it on a hardware wallet and i'm connecting to an exchange
[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_03]: and i'm putting money into an exchange account and then i can sell it and get cash that would be
[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_03]: one way to bring it off of self-custody and convert it into another form of wealth right yes um
[00:41:56] [SPEAKER_04]: i've only really done uh one way transfers to a hardware wallet meaning once i put it on a
[00:42:02] [SPEAKER_04]: hardware wallet i don't really take it off but you can for sure put keep it all on a hardware
[00:42:07] [SPEAKER_04]: wallet and then transfer it off and sell it and then buy some more and put it back on
[00:42:12] [SPEAKER_04]: what i do i have like i do work through the exchange of some so i have a little bit of mine
[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_04]: on the exchange and that's where i do my buy sell well let's get into that next but
[00:42:26] [SPEAKER_03]: that hardware wallet if you buy one it's a thumb drive thrown into your pc you're logging
[00:42:32] [SPEAKER_03]: into coinbase and what what how does it come off of that thumb drive or how does the keys
[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_03]: allow a transaction with the bitcoin that technically it always stays on the blockchain right
[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_03]: you're just you're just accessing you're just the one in control of it
[00:42:52] [SPEAKER_04]: do i have that right is that the steps correct the bitcoin does not live on your hardware wallet
[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_04]: or even live in coinbase it lives in the bitcoin network everywhere and nowhere at once
[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_04]: it's all about do you have the password to open the specific address that has your bitcoin in it
[00:43:13] [SPEAKER_04]: or not it's in the ledger which is the block here yep yep so it's uh i think it's kind of weird
[00:43:23] [SPEAKER_04]: to get your head around but what someone said ones that sort of made sense to me is like a
[00:43:27] [SPEAKER_04]: mailbox at the post office like at any time you know they'll add new mail to your
[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_04]: you know your your post office but only the person who comes in and a lot of people can see the
[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_04]: you know go in there and access their own box but they don't have your key to your mailbox so they
[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_04]: can't access it now of course in real life they could just use a sledgehammer and break into
[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_04]: your box in the cyber world they can't hack it because it literally would take tens of thousands
[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_04]: of years with the fastest computer guessing every combination before they would hit it
[00:44:03] [SPEAKER_03]: in theory okay so for limit orders you bring a little bit onto the exchanges
[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_03]: you know what was that drop in bitcoin since last week how could somebody have traded that
[00:44:17] [SPEAKER_04]: i'll just tell you what i did um when bitcoin was about 66 thousand dollars i had some fiat
[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_04]: currency on an exchange and i had orders were said if bitcoin goes below 56 000 by x amount
[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_04]: if bitcoin goes below 52 000 by y amount and if you have it set up properly and it's easy to do
[00:44:43] [SPEAKER_04]: you can do this on cash app you can do it on coinbase there's all different types of exchanges
[00:44:49] [SPEAKER_04]: now but even robin hood is starting to do it so everybody's getting in on it because they're
[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_04]: like oh actually bitcoin is legit and people want to buy it we can actually make money if we
[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_04]: buy into it ourselves um so you got to have some fiat currency on the exchange though and
[00:45:04] [SPEAKER_04]: that's a risk because if stuff collapses you ain't getting it back so keep that in mind but i had
[00:45:11] [SPEAKER_04]: it you know let's just say a few thousand dollars on this exchange with a few different
[00:45:16] [SPEAKER_04]: orders set and while i was sleeping bitcoin dropped a lot i purchased it at low amounts and by the time
[00:45:26] [SPEAKER_04]: i woke up it was already higher than what i had purchased that now that's dangerous because you
[00:45:31] [SPEAKER_04]: might buy it and then it drops another 10 percent so yeah you're playing a little risky game but
[00:45:36] [SPEAKER_04]: i believe in bitcoin as much as any as much as gold at least as much as any financial instrument
[00:45:43] [SPEAKER_04]: i believe in it uh you know i'm all in than that regard so you're setting floors you also setting
[00:45:51] [SPEAKER_03]: ceilings right if it hits some kind of eyes sell a little yep you can even build a conditional
[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_04]: buy sell order where you say if it drops below 56 000 by you know x amount and then
[00:46:11] [SPEAKER_04]: that'll that'll take place as soon as that order is fulfilled you could have it say if
[00:46:18] [SPEAKER_04]: it gets above 64 000 as an example so a big gain automatically sell it all so you kind of
[00:46:26] [SPEAKER_04]: are having the computer buy it at a low and then sell it at a high automatically for you if you set
[00:46:32] [SPEAKER_03]: it up correctly and you talked about multiple floors as you can certainly do multiple ceilings
[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_03]: but now we're getting to the nitty gritty what what are the strategies you know what proportion of
[00:46:48] [SPEAKER_03]: the first floor would the second floor be or the third floor before to implement some kind
[00:46:56] [SPEAKER_03]: of growth strategy i mean how is this really done by the real day traders of this stuff oh man
[00:47:03] [SPEAKER_04]: well first you gotta buy my course now i'm just kidding there's a lot of courses out there a lot
[00:47:08] [SPEAKER_04]: of legit people but also a lot of scammers and everything in between they do this for stocks
[00:47:13] [SPEAKER_04]: and bonds and options and a lot of it's the same logic uh but i would say bitcoin is a lot more
[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_03]: volatile yes it's not going to be the same in a lot of ways yeah it's like uh yeah a factor of five so
[00:47:32] [SPEAKER_04]: a lot of stock traders will get devastated if their portfolio is down five percent but you
[00:47:38] [SPEAKER_04]: shouldn't feel that way as a crypto or in particular bitcoin person unless it's down at least 25
[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_04]: because it's up and down so quick um my my personal strategy is whenever it's going down i buy whenever
[00:47:55] [SPEAKER_04]: it's going up i sell maybe it's not the most optimized but i buy a low sell high i try to do that
[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_03]: right but you know what kind of curve are we looking at the more the more it goes down or
[00:48:11] [SPEAKER_04]: when a little bit more money afterwards or is it scale up great question um i kind of take a gauge of
[00:48:23] [SPEAKER_04]: what the price action has been the last couple few months you do okay if it breaks out of that
[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_04]: either up or down that's where i'll set mine so let's there's always like a between 10 to 20 percent
[00:48:40] [SPEAKER_04]: you know let's just say minus 15 percent and plus 15 percent from where it is currently
[00:48:47] [SPEAKER_04]: if it's a very stable market at that time if it goes up 10 or 15 percent i'm not doing anything
[00:48:53] [SPEAKER_04]: if it goes down 10 or 15 percent i'm not doing anything but once it starts getting outside of
[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_04]: that kind of standard deviation or that zone of kind of what we've seen recently then i start to
[00:49:06] [SPEAKER_04]: dip my toe in and then the the low let's just say the price is going down right down down down
[00:49:13] [SPEAKER_04]: if it goes from 60k to 50k i might buy a little bit but if it goes from 50k to 45k i'll buy twice
[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_04]: as much as i did before if it goes from 45k to 40k i'll buy four or eight times as much
[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_04]: now it's super dangerous to do that you can say that's almost like going to vegas and just
[00:49:37] [SPEAKER_04]: doubling down on roulette every single time you know i'm always gonna make money yeah until it hits double
[00:49:42] [SPEAKER_04]: zero uh but i believe in bitcoin enough and i it's paid off for me so far knock on wood
[00:49:49] [SPEAKER_04]: that if it does drop 20 30 40 50 percent and i just keep doubling down it has always snapped back
[00:49:56] [SPEAKER_04]: up way above and beyond and i'm just massively in the money on the other hand when it goes up 10
[00:50:02] [SPEAKER_04]: percent i don't do anything but if it goes up another 10 percent then i'll sell a little bit
[00:50:06] [SPEAKER_04]: but if it's like doubled like like what it did it the first half of this year it went from 25
[00:50:11] [SPEAKER_04]: thousand to 70 thousand from 25 to 50 let's say i sold a little bit just uh you know rebuy at
[00:50:19] [SPEAKER_04]: a lower price maybe but once it went from 50 up to 60 up to 70 i was i was selling a decent chunk
[00:50:26] [SPEAKER_04]: but most of that money i kept and set new limit orders with that said okay i sold this i bought
[00:50:34] [SPEAKER_04]: this stuff at 25 000 i sold it at 70 i'm gonna rebuy everything i just sold and more so like
[00:50:42] [SPEAKER_04]: reinvesting my profits at 55 000 right so a little bit of it is just licking your finger
[00:50:48] [SPEAKER_04]: put it in the in the wind and just kind of going with it my number one thing i would suggest to people
[00:50:53] [SPEAKER_04]: though is at least keep consistent especially with that type of strategy i just said if you don't double
[00:50:59] [SPEAKER_04]: down every single time and you break from it then you're gonna get massive losses um and yeah if
[00:51:05] [SPEAKER_04]: bitcoin goes to zero you're kind of screwed so maybe you should have a limit of how much you
[00:51:10] [SPEAKER_04]: will invest even if it goes down 80 percent um but bitcoin's gone down 50 60 70 plus percent
[00:51:17] [SPEAKER_04]: multiple times and within a year it's you know hitting record highs so it's risky i think so uh
[00:51:27] [SPEAKER_04]: again i would say last thing 90 percent of my bitcoin self-custodied i don't play these games
[00:51:34] [SPEAKER_04]: with it i just bought bought it and put it on my hardware wallet right but that 10 percent that's
[00:51:41] [SPEAKER_04]: what i'm buying and selling so eventually if bitcoin gets up to like 200 000 i'll probably have
[00:51:47] [SPEAKER_04]: already sold all my kind of you know trading amount and then the question is do i put more in
[00:51:54] [SPEAKER_04]: there to sell or i to keep holding it i don't know i'll probably hold it but i want to sell
[00:51:59] [SPEAKER_04]: a little bit i want to buy a homestead so in a way i want to sell some of this but uh i don't
[00:52:03] [SPEAKER_04]: know it's always a changing calculation in my brain so a few more questions along the way
[00:52:11] [SPEAKER_03]: let's say it's time to bring money out of this exchange or platform that you're making these
[00:52:19] [SPEAKER_03]: limit orders you let's say you have gains and you want to bring it on to your wallet
[00:52:24] [SPEAKER_03]: your your your self-custody hardware wallet so now you're just attaching that to your laptop
[00:52:30] [SPEAKER_03]: you're logging into the exchange and you're paying what your your your hardware wallet that amount
[00:52:37] [SPEAKER_04]: to take it off the exchange so here's the cool thing you don't you only need to attach your
[00:52:44] [SPEAKER_04]: hardware wallet when you're sending from your hardware wallet if the hardware wallets receiving
[00:52:48] [SPEAKER_04]: it does not have to interface with anything so if you're not said that we're going to you're
[00:52:54] [SPEAKER_04]: only receiving because it has you already know the public address um so it's almost like someone
[00:53:01] [SPEAKER_04]: going to your mailbox and adding more to it you don't need to show them your your private key
[00:53:08] [SPEAKER_04]: you don't need to plug it in they already know where your public address is if you give it
[00:53:15] [SPEAKER_04]: to help on exchange if it's not an exchange where is it uh i mean if no one knows what it is
[00:53:23] [SPEAKER_04]: then no one's going to be sending you mail i guess but if you tell people where to send it they can
[00:53:29] [SPEAKER_04]: send it to you without you plugging in your your wallet and the bitcoin network will acknowledge
[00:53:34] [SPEAKER_04]: that it's changed possession and you are now in possession of the bitcoin they sent you
[00:53:38] [SPEAKER_04]: and you do not need to plug in your wallet your hardware wallet at all gotcha but if you
[00:53:46] [SPEAKER_04]: want to send if you want to send bitcoin from your wallet somewhere else then you it's almost
[00:53:53] [SPEAKER_04]: like you have the i don't know there's all these analogies and they all suck but you have like the
[00:53:57] [SPEAKER_04]: the signet or you have like the seal and you're able to press that you know magic seal and that's
[00:54:03] [SPEAKER_04]: your hardware wallet or your 24 word passphrase you can input that and that will authorize bitcoin
[00:54:13] [SPEAKER_04]: to be moved from your account to someone else so that you need either the hardware wallet or
[00:54:18] [SPEAKER_04]: the password to send but to receive you do not i think i might have to watch and do this to fully
[00:54:26] [SPEAKER_03]: grasp how that works but another question about the limit orders and you're on a platform and setting
[00:54:33] [SPEAKER_03]: the limits do those have a cost do they expire if they expire how long can you set them for
[00:54:41] [SPEAKER_04]: what's the mechanics there great question different platforms are have different options
[00:54:50] [SPEAKER_04]: the platform i use your limit orders can you know have no expiration so they can be there forever
[00:55:01] [SPEAKER_04]: for a while so you can set you though your limit orders to last for one hour 24 hours seven days
[00:55:12] [SPEAKER_04]: whatever so you can definitely manage your risk in that way and be like i want these orders in place
[00:55:17] [SPEAKER_04]: for this week but if they don't execute i want them to cancel and i don't want any orders left right
[00:55:23] [SPEAKER_04]: so you can definitely definitely do that um what was your other question there's a good one i forgot
[00:55:28] [SPEAKER_04]: does it have a cost oh yeah okay funny thing is the cost is equal or less than just going to
[00:55:38] [SPEAKER_04]: the exchange and it's called a market order where you just buy whatever it is right now
[00:55:43] [SPEAKER_04]: like oh i don't even want to mess around with playing with these limits and shit just give me
[00:55:48] [SPEAKER_04]: some bitcoin here's some fiat cash give me bitcoin right now that has a fee usually between
[00:55:55] [SPEAKER_04]: 0.5 percent or half a percent all the way up to 3 percent depending where you're at
[00:56:00] [SPEAKER_04]: if you're paying 3 percent you should not be but some are um and doing a limit order
[00:56:08] [SPEAKER_04]: i've seen some places where it's less the fee is less because the exchange actually wants those
[00:56:14] [SPEAKER_04]: limit orders on their books to build liquidity and actually have the ability to make a market
[00:56:21] [SPEAKER_04]: so they want you to use a limit order and they'll actually sometimes give you a slight discount
[00:56:26] [SPEAKER_04]: on the fee so you should expect let's just say like a 1 percent fee so if you invest $100 you're
[00:56:33] [SPEAKER_04]: going to pay a dollar fee almost no matter what final question if you have a hardware wallet and
[00:56:40] [SPEAKER_03]: i have a hardware wallet how do we transact bitcoin directly i give you my public address
[00:56:50] [SPEAKER_04]: which is a string of characters like 20 characters or something some like weird looking
[00:56:54] [SPEAKER_04]: password type characters 38 q 7 blah blah blah blah random but not random so i i give that to you
[00:57:05] [SPEAKER_04]: you plug your hardware wallet in or in you know with your passphrase either way
[00:57:12] [SPEAKER_04]: you go in and you then will copy paste the address i gave you and say pretty much give
[00:57:18] [SPEAKER_04]: instructions i want to give 0.1 bitcoin to this address which is my address and then
[00:57:25] [SPEAKER_04]: when you put in the secret password or connect your wallet successfully it will broadcast to
[00:57:32] [SPEAKER_04]: the bitcoin network and say okay wallet a wants to send to wallet b wallet a we can confirm it's
[00:57:40] [SPEAKER_04]: the legitimate owner it has its legitimate password now someone else gets your password you're
[00:57:46] [SPEAKER_04]: screwed there's no customer service to call so you got to keep your password super secret but
[00:57:51] [SPEAKER_04]: the bitcoin network will is able to authorize that which goes beyond right now but mathematically
[00:57:56] [SPEAKER_04]: they can prove that you are the owner of the keys and that you requested to send some bitcoin on
[00:58:03] [SPEAKER_04]: the ledger to me and then the bitcoin network will verify that and create blocks and do the
[00:58:11] [SPEAKER_04]: verification that's what the miners are doing with their computer power to verify that you're not
[00:58:16] [SPEAKER_04]: given a fake password or that you're not trying to send 50 people a transaction when you don't have
[00:58:24] [SPEAKER_04]: enough money that's called double spend and that's a huge issue bitcoin fixes you're not allowed
[00:58:29] [SPEAKER_04]: to go so currently like clearing houses and banks are the only thing that people stop people from
[00:58:34] [SPEAKER_04]: doing false checks right and sending a bunch of fake checks out to people and then running away
[00:58:39] [SPEAKER_04]: bitcoin takes care of that automatically that's a huge feature so
[00:58:42] [SPEAKER_04]: I know I'm rambling running out of time hopefully that's helped a little bit
[00:58:47] [SPEAKER_03]: we got I am liberty following patriot power hour tonight you know what actually I saw
[00:58:55] [SPEAKER_04]: I am liberty was posted today I've been really busy at work I didn't get to listen to it

[00:59:36] [SPEAKER_04]: this whole thing of the federal government borrowing five billion a day in fiscal year 2024
[00:59:41] [SPEAKER_04]: you can't fake bitcoin you might think it has no value but it can't be faked you can't fake gold
[00:59:47] [SPEAKER_04]: you can't fake medical supplies you can't fake health that's for fasting right all these
[00:59:53] [SPEAKER_04]: tangible items that are not your bank account not your 401k invest in those not in the five
[01:00:00] [SPEAKER_04]: billion dollars of fraud every day that the federal government's borrowing that's my final
