[00:00:04] You're listening to PBN Your path back to stability here What is up everybody PBN family how you doing out there? Thursday tremendous day at the Prepper Broadcasting Network. I don't want to pat myself on the back too much last night

[00:00:44] But I took a walk with the dogs and the family in the evening the family minus the eldest son and Don't know did something the summer air. Maybe it was the pressure the barometric pressure from the incoming storm

[00:01:01] It affects the fish and I am a Pisces who knows The show is awesome. It's a great show on civil unrest It was a great show on who runs the streets in America today

[00:01:12] And I had a great time. It was good. Yeah, I am Liberty show check it out last night today We're gonna touch on a number of things What's in the bag? What's in the bag? Does anybody got an idea what's in the bag look closely?

[00:01:33] I'll tell you this much about what's in the bag They're all the same thing They're different colors But they are all the same thing That I can assure you that I can tell you that they are all the same thing let's say

[00:01:53] a little peak a little something a little Just a little something a little They're all The same thing so a lot of good guesses that came through from yesterday but the The quest goes on Many of you out there who are listening watching You guys

[00:02:16] Who are PBN members? I'm gonna try to get each one of you one of these because they're so sweet They're so sweet. They're so me. I don't know That's a tough one That's a tough one to follow What the hell are we talking about today?

[00:02:36] There's a million things going on man. I really need you to download the collapse survivor app I'm doing some marketing work for them and I could use I could use people downloading it and taking advantage of the

[00:02:46] Scenarios that I do over there or that they do over there They're fun man, they're fun and you'll learn a lot about yourself and the decisions you make and and to be honest with you The scenarios that are created by Drew Miller are as real as real gets

[00:03:02] Not that you need more to worry about there's enough to worry about in the real world but So in the room Over here I've got Probably about Two no three three large ball jars full of wax melting and we're creating something called Bigfoot fur, okay

[00:03:28] big foot fur is a little survival creation that my son my oldest son and I came up with Years and years ago and it was the concept was given to me by oh snap the Hatter is with us. What's up, buddy?

[00:03:45] That the concept was given to us by Oh My god, I'm drawing a blank on this woman and I can't Melinda Lee Melinda Lee who I haven't seen in chat in a while But is an amazing homesteader extraordinary

[00:04:01] Has a group teaches groups really awesome Melinda Lee. We miss you I think she sent us all the stuff to do it with with melted crayons and and Shredded newspaper in a wax cup like you put ketchup in

[00:04:18] Right, so you take the crayons melt them down dump it all over the wax the the shredded paper the kids I might have been a kid at the time think it was just Carter got in there and mixed it all up It was disgusting we put it

[00:04:31] We put it into a wax cup and then we tested it out and that stuff's amazing I mean that is that is an incredible fire extender man unbelievable I took it a step further my wife burns scented wax around the house smells great

[00:04:48] And then when the scent goes away The wax goes away, so we started to save the wax and like in no time will get ball jars full of this wax So I said you know what scratch the crayons

[00:05:02] We'll use that and you know whenever it comes to prep stuff whenever it comes to almost everything that I do pertaining to self-sufficiency and preparedness Like 99% of things that I do have everything to do with sustainable repeatability right like

[00:05:19] Not necessarily off-grid worlds collapse repeatability. That's great, but within my own lifestyle How can I do this again? How can I do this again and again and again, right and for a long time? I'd been practicing ferro rod over

[00:05:36] Dryer lint ferro rod and dryer lint is where it's at the dryer lint's free And you really can learn to use a ferro rod well I was learning how to start fires in my fireplace, you know a decade ago with

[00:05:48] ferro rod and and dryer lint taking it out back taking it on camping So I already knew that dry or lent and I keep dryer lint man like

[00:05:57] Big bags of it zip lock bag of dryer lint big one into your bug out bag into your camping bag into whatever It's the best and it's free

[00:06:07] I mean even if you don't dry clothes even if you do dry cleaning you can probably just run up into a Dry cleaner like like a laundromat and take the dryer lint

[00:06:20] They're not gonna be mad at you but dry lint's amazing free incredibly flammable. It's it's exactly what you see bushcraft guys making When they're doing like barks and getting fibery, you know dried grasses and all that kind of stuff

[00:06:35] So you got it. It's inside your dryer pull it out keep throw it in a zip-lock bag put in the bug out bag or camping bag Whatever get home back so what we did is we took

[00:06:44] The dryer lint and we took the melted wax and we combined those two together Right, and then we stick that into the little wax ketchup cup the wax paper cup I'm a little more wax on top of that and it looks disgusting. It looks absolutely horrendous. I

[00:07:02] Should have brought one for the the video feed but So we we mixed the dryer lint. We mixed the wax we put it in the wax paper cup. We let it dry and My son when he was about three or four

[00:07:15] We were watching like finding Bigfoot and stuff at night and he I remember him saying dad It looks like Bigfoot fur because it's disgusting and furry because it looked you know Most of our dryer lint is like dog fur anyway

[00:07:29] And I remember that's what that's what he said. He said dad. It looks like Bigfoot fur and The rest is history So now we make Bigfoot fur on a regular basis pack it up

[00:07:39] And these things when you light a cup of Bigfoot fur, which is no bigger than like this You know, there's no bigger than like two by two When you light one of these wax cups with the dryer lint with the wax mixed in it's 15 minute burn

[00:07:55] It's like a 15 minute burn Hatter in chat says he does the same thing but puts them in egg carton slots. That's a good move too That's a good move the egg carton slot the cardboard not styrofoam, but yeah, the cardboard one will do it

[00:08:10] The styrofoam one will kill everyone I'm just kidding So that's Bigfoot fur make some if nothing else start using your your wasted Dryer lint to get better at making fire or to make fire easier

[00:08:25] What I know to be true about Bigfoot fur and why we use it is that you can start a fire in any condition with it. I Don't know that's the deal, you know, that's pretty much the deal so

[00:08:37] We are one threat one solution today is gonna be interesting because it's it's not a focus on threat per se Let's pretend That we live in a world where there's a bunch of threats already Which is the reality

[00:08:56] And I want to talk about sort of an outcome on one threat one solution and I'll get into it Just Now I want to give Michael Snyder at the economic collapse Bob blog all the credit in the world

[00:09:23] He wrote this article this article has gone crazy in a number of places I don't know if it's the title the context. I'm not sure what it is I posted it up on instagram and it went absolutely insane, you know, really crazy viral

[00:09:42] Hundreds of thousands of Americans are going off grid In anticipation of what is coming 250,000 they're saying live off grid What's interesting about this article though and this is more of like the one threat one one solution side of one threat one solution

[00:10:01] We know the threats. We know why people are tapping out. We know why they're running to the woods We know why they're saying it's time to live off grid, you know um My personal point of view on off grid living is I feel like personal

[00:10:16] Do what you want if it works for you do it I literally just did a whole video on this for our membership last week, right do what works for you That said I do feel like my grandfather and great-grandfathers um Would be rolling around in their grave

[00:10:38] after fighting in wars living through depressions if they saw you know their progeny In me and my kids Crapping in five gallon buckets Or yeah, you know what I mean? I don't it's

[00:10:58] It's a weird thing. I don't know if it exists in our society as much as it used to but You honor The sacrifice of those who came before you and their desire to see you live better than they did

[00:11:15] This was this is a thing like in my family and in a lot of families where I grew up I think fat like Heritage and so on were they're important. They were important things and I I always think about that. I always think about like

[00:11:32] And you know, we could do it in a I don't know there's just a thing about that You know like the conveniences in the comforts of the modern world are dangerous. There's no doubt about it. They're dangerous They make you weak. They make you uh, you know dependent

[00:11:45] um But there's also a balance in it all man and and part of that balance to me is It's just that you know what I mean? It's like I feel like my great grandfather would want me to know how to dig an outhouse

[00:11:59] He would want me to be physically able and have the tools to do the job um and the knowledge but you know, he I'm sure he would say enjoy life To the best of your ability man. Like that's what we've been on

[00:12:18] About for the last, you know, however many thousands of years that we've been suffering to survive On grid off grid balance is my concept. Okay Brooke Morgan This is from the article now brook Morgan surveyed booths at the survival and prepper show in colorado

[00:12:35] That were stocked with ammunition mounds of trauma medical kits. That's a that's good writing right there That's a good way to to represent that mounds And every type of knife imaginable Here's where it gets interesting a self-described 30 year old lesbian from indiana

[00:12:50] Morgan is one of a new breed of americans getting ready to survive political upheaval and natural catastrophes. This is the growing um Well, this is a growing segment of the preparedness movement, right? I have said for years guys

[00:13:05] You want to talk about unity? You don't go to jill biden to talk about unity. You talk about survival You talk about prepping This is a place we all we all can understand

[00:13:14] It's not about the details of how you do it or if you live off grid or if you're vegan or if whatever the hell you Do is what you do but at the end of the day We can all understand we want to take steps to survive

[00:13:28] And thrive in this life right really not that hard to understand um A pursuit now, this is a weird one a pursuit until recently was largely associated with far right movements Such as white nationalists since the 1980s

[00:13:43] That's not really that true researchers say numbers of preppers have doubled in size about 20 million since 2017 uh So, you know the article goes on to discuss of various

[00:13:58] Reasoning why people are going off grid different off grid groups a community of society shunning americans launched a survivalist haven in utah uh Fear of you know sort of the village-esque concepts of why people do it um Yeah, it's a great article man. It's a great article

[00:14:21] It it's gone absolutely insane Because it's you know, this is what americans are looking for I think I think fundamentally at the end of the day americans are looking for Answers to what the hell is happening

[00:14:36] Politically with the world, you know, how whatever kind of things they're afraid of war climate, you know, everybody's got their To-do list when it comes to wake up and worry But I think they're also looking for A majority

[00:14:52] Movement that they can align with you know for the longest longest time preppers were fringe You know we were fringe people doing fringe things that didn't make sense People would laugh and you know pick us apart and all that kind of stuff. Whatever, you know I'm

[00:15:06] When you get on the path, it doesn't matter, you know, it's like it feels the same way That christianity feels You know what I mean Like in our in this day and age full of atheism and doubt and you know Sardonic takes on religion to begin with like

[00:15:25] It always feels like the barrier to entry to religion is is a serious one because there's a lot of Bullshit to wade through before you start to get to the gems where you're like, oh, this is real Like this is real

[00:15:40] But once you're in it then it just feels like who why like what What's going on out there? Why would you live life that way out there? That seems crazy So Yeah, the on grid off grid balance, you know, it is my

[00:16:01] Three years ago. I think it was now I helped write a book called no grid survival projects I talk about it all the time It is a it is exactly what it sounds like 70 or so projects step by step materials needed priced Power generation cooking fuel making

[00:16:22] Property layout gardening Everything off grid bathrooms so on and so forth j ferg what is up good morning The creator of the mystery bag. We already talked about the bag this morning j ferg. They might be getting close

[00:16:38] They might be getting close. I gave them a couple peaks um and a hint so everything that you need Primarily, you know to at least get started for me It's about the on grid off grid balance it's about having the capability to be off grid but not necessarily

[00:16:56] rushing headlong into well, you know Not enjoying the the incredible scientific advancements of our modern age. Let's go with that so That's in the in the show description down below in the link tree. You can find it no grid survival projects

[00:17:14] There's all kinds of dude if if you really are into preparedness Our link tree Down in the description of the show video whatever you're watching Is so full of of great stuff. It's unbelievable. I mean it's so full of solutions for you

[00:17:30] If you and they're all good, they're all vetted. They're all either created by me or pod Sponsors that we you know aligned with I don't know but I can only like shove gently in the right direction

[00:17:45] I can't wake up next to you every day and get to work All right, let's get into words today. We are going to the bible We are going to ecclesiasties for those of you Who love proverbs keep going You read through your proverbs you hit ecclesiasties keep going

[00:18:09] This is my favorite guy. You know what? I mean, this is my favorite guy in the bible Who does the writing? Let's go with that um When you read enough of the bible and understand enough of the bible

[00:18:24] It's hard for you to wrap your head around the fact that we don't read the bible in school You know what I mean? Separation church and state. I get all that but like it depends on how you look at this thing

[00:18:37] The bible is the most incredible successful outrageous History book and you can't you know There's some people who bristle at that But there is enough in the bible That has all to do with how you are to live life or how to live a bad life

[00:18:58] How to live a good life how to really screw it up how to really win The things that are important to humans before humans even realize it right because what do children know about what's important to a human? Right

[00:19:11] I want to get on and play video games with my friends And that's the most important thing online for me today The value set in this book Like you can read the bible and not be like Well, I guess i'm a hundred percent religious now

[00:19:31] And if you and if you think that there's like this weird idea that if you pick this book up and read it It will transform you Against your will Right like it like it's some kind of book from Hell you know what I mean?

[00:19:47] Like it'll it'll possess you I mean some of the ideas will likely possess you But you know being religious being christian takes work You know it's not you You read enough of this book and you start to realize what a roadmap it is for success for people

[00:20:05] Even if even if you have nothing to do with god just the lessons within it if you can think you know To the degree that a seven or eight year old can think And it's just crazy to me that We don't teach it in the schools

[00:20:22] That we don't read it or read the high level teachings in schools Of all the books that can be read in school of all the things that can be taught in school You have a human being user manual Right like the user manual for humans

[00:20:38] That's what the bible is now you can read the beginning of chapters and go cross-eyed Right and she was the brother of he and he was the brother of her and the second cousin of this one And that one knew and he would rule the many but

[00:20:53] If a teacher took time right and I I was never taught on the bible man I I read the bible enough to understand the things and I go in and read things that other people tell me to read Who are way smarter on it?

[00:21:06] But the idea that it's like this document that can't enter schools is so hilarious looking at the Condition of schools the condition of society today and not from I want I want you to understand. I'm not saying that Push all children to god and they will be saved

[00:21:27] Maybe that'll happen. I don't know. I know a lot of people who were Very heavily pushed to god and are long gone from this planet, right? What I do know is there's a bunch of information in this book

[00:21:40] That help people in very confusing and terrifying times figure out This is what it is to be human. This is what it is to live a good life And if you think that a bunch of people are walking around this planet right now with a clear path

[00:21:57] On what it means to be human and what it means to live a good life Don't look like it to me. Okay, so You know, you think about getting bibles handed down to you from like Dead relatives or important people or things like that

[00:22:14] This little bible here is from my kid from my son my oldest son It wasn't necessarily a gift But it's just one of those things you wind up with a bible in your hand and you're like

[00:22:26] Didn't expect it to come from here. So like I said, you read proverbs enjoy proverbs. Um, but also So Get on Ecclesiastes right after proverbs. All right, so we're gonna read this and close out the show Where we at here Ecclesiastes nine nine

[00:22:53] I'm not in the right place. Hang on one second There we are. All right. This won't resonate with everyone But if you're married or becoming married soon or particularly if you're a dude I don't know. This is one of my favorite pieces of writing in the bible period

[00:23:19] And it goes beyond just the marriage of it. All right Ecclesiastes nine nine live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of your vain life Which he has given you under the sun all your days of vanity For that is your portion in life

[00:23:38] And in the labor which you perform under the sun whatever your hands find to do do it with your might For there's no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave Where you are going Enjoy your wife. Enjoy your marriage. Enjoy your relationships. That's it

[00:23:57] You will die And guess what? Enjoy that shitty job that you hate even though you hate it and your boss is a retard Go in and do a good job

[00:24:07] How many times you walk into a place and you see people who would rather commit suicide than wait on you The race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong nor bread to the wise nor riches to the men

[00:24:24] Understanding nor favored of men of skill, but time and chance happen to them all For man also does not know his time like fish taken in a cruel net like birds caught in a snare So the sons of men are snared in an evil time

[00:24:41] When it falls suddenly upon them Wisdom is better than strength. Nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised. You gotta read Ecclesiastes. Okay? I know a lot of people love proverbs, but Keep going Read through your proverbs and then get into Ecclesiastes

[00:25:00] I feel like he just you know some of the proverbs I read and I go like I kind of understand that I could go many ways with that Ecclesiastes just hammers it down Enjoy life with your wife, dude

[00:25:12] Know that you're full of ego and vain and god has given you this portion in life to enjoy And uh, don't overthink it stupid. Have a good time because you will be dead soon And on top of all of that do good works

[00:25:27] If you've been hired to do a job do it with all your effort and do it well And then one day you'll be shuffled off this mortal coil and that's it. That's your story You know Such a great reminder particularly for preppers because we're always
