[00:03:38] But I've always been a big fan of George Norian Coast to coast AM and the things that he does And I would love that I would love to do that I would love to have ourselves a late night Overnight Paranormal show just along those lines
[00:03:55] So if somebody's out there doing it It doesn't matter if they have an established podcast Or whatever the situation is I'll reach out to them and chat And figure out if we can make them a part of this Prepper Broadcasting Network lineup Again
[00:04:11] The things that I struggle with folks are Well, it's really simple You know, and it's I hope it's authentic It probably is authentic as it is selfish But whatever I want you to know my intentions Everything that I do is a balance between Satisfying me and satisfying you
[00:04:34] Do you know what I mean? Everything on this network Everything that I write It's this balance act Of What I want and what you want And a lot of times Not a lot of times, but every so often
[00:04:51] I start to creep from one to one side of that scale And I got a course correct And this morning I was sitting in front of this microphone Thinking about what you wanted me to hear I'm sorry, what you wanted me to say What you wanted to hear
[00:05:07] And that never works well for me And it didn't work well for me So I brought you My thoughts here in the first five minutes My desires and such Now I want to talk to you about With all the gardening
[00:05:25] With the rain falling out of the sky today Here in Richmond with The concerns that we have You know, we're at a point guys where I could do an entire hour Just remarking on the news of the day
[00:05:41] And I don't know if that would be beneficial or not I created one threat, one solution To sort of Carve out something important to consider And then give you some ammunition to deal with it But there's so many news stories every day
[00:05:59] I almost feel like I should be doing a rapid fire You know H5N1 on the border How to prepare yada yada, you know It's overwhelming It's overwhelming at times for me And this is why Or at least it's one of the reasons why I always push membership
[00:06:23] Of course it helps fortify the network but I don't know how I would deal with this life If I weren't a prepper already Like I'm a prepper already And have been at it for a while And I have moments where it's just so overwhelming
[00:06:41] You know, the news of the day The threat analysis, the threat And it could be that I'm sort of bathing In this stuff on a day to day basis too So I know more about it than the average person But ignorance Ignorance is not an answer
[00:06:58] If things begin to fall apart worse Than they already are, right? So a lot of times you gotta You gotta carve things down You gotta, what do I always say You have to round the sharp edges I don't say that
[00:07:17] I write that a lot in things that I write I like that concept We're moving into gardening season One of the things That's so important to consider Is how you're gonna water your garden And watering your garden is not the same thing as Drinking water
[00:07:38] You don't need the same type of water To water your garden as you do to drink Now, for me personally I don't worry a ton about water I've set up systems I have A multitude of systems In more than one location For the procurement of drinking water
[00:08:04] And I also have, you know, natural Natural sources of water very close by Okay? There's a creek on my property For one thing Year-round creek This is not a creek that appears This time of year You know what I mean? It's there all the time
[00:08:24] But I realize that not everybody has Those options And you may be looking at your stack of Water bricks or your collection of Water bottles or whatever the situation is And you may be wondering, you know Not only do I have to make sure
[00:08:44] My family has enough safe water to drink In a situation like this But if we're dealing with some kind of Economic collapse Well My ability to grow food My survival seed kits Or the seeds that I have saved over all these years From gardens, you know, subsequent gardens
[00:09:04] All that stuff is going to require water You know? And in months like August And July and even September Where's the water going to come from? How are you going to water the garden? How are you going to make sure that your garden is watered? Now look
[00:09:24] This is a legitimate concern And this is where the concept of SHTF infrastructure comes in again It's one of those ideas Well, I don't know if you know this But they have collapsible rain barrels On the market And a collapsible rain barrel is one of the most
[00:09:44] It's one of the ultimate forms of SHTF infrastructure If you don't know what I'm talking about When I use that combination of words SHTF infrastructure You need to listen to last Wednesday's show These are things that you can be packed away
[00:10:01] If you're in a situation where you can't have rain barrels all the time Because neighbors get upset Or the HOA or the state or the county will come down You can't collect rainwater You're not allowed to collect the rainwater, sir
[00:10:18] We talked to Zeus and he said that that rainwater is his So if you're in a position like that All of these rules and regulations on self-sufficiency are ridiculous First and foremost And second of all If things get dire and more dire
[00:10:44] That the enforcement of said laws is going to go away So it's good you know You can pack these things away and you can deploy them Because a lot of people are worried about TAP A lot of people are worried about water access And an emergency and disaster
[00:11:02] And you should be You should be I think outside of hydration Your next biggest problem is going to be All the food I grow or the animals that I keep How do I keep them in water If I'm in a situation where I don't have it around
[00:11:23] This could be a suburban or urban prepper problem Exclusively because most of us don't have access to well water But again the digging of wells is one of those things that Right now you say to yourself Well I'm not allowed to just dig a random well out back
[00:11:45] But if we get deep into some sort of Whatever, whatever boogeyman you want to draw up If we get deep into a collapsed situation Survival is going to be everything Survival is going to be the priority You're not going to be concerned about whether or not
[00:12:08] I can tap a well in my backyard to make sure I So again it goes back to that concept Of having the tools and the infrastructure that you need Even if you're not using it at the moment The long game of course is to
[00:12:24] Put these resources back into the hands of the people Rather than having these highways That can be cut off easily to things like Power and water and so on What's your plan for water? What's your plan for water? We're going to be detailing a simple atmospheric water
[00:12:49] Generator build, filtration system The whole process starts to finish On the membership side here at PBN this month And you're going to dig it I'm not saying that's your one solution For watering the garden I don't even know that I'd use that method For watering a garden
[00:13:11] It's probably better kept for drinking But remember every ounce of water That you can pull from the atmosphere Rather than from another source of water For everything else But it's time to consider folks It's time to consider your water preparedness All you have to do really
[00:13:31] Once you get out there and you're weeding And you're watering on a regular basis Just take into account how much water you're using How much water you're using to keep that machine That is your garden going And then factor in the 2-3 gallons of water per person
[00:13:50] Per day that you want to have readily available For your family There's a lot to consider Rainwater is your best option Rainwater is your best option for mass problem solving In terms of water needs If you're lucky enough to have water sources nearby Then that's huge
[00:14:13] You can't understate it And of course No matter where you're pulling water from Or how you're getting water You need to have high quality water filters You need to have methods and means of sanitizing that water Even after it's been filtered You know, if you've...
[00:14:36] Water filters are water filters man And also You know, you go out into the woods Like for me I'll take a trip to the mountains of Virginia I'll do some trout fishing I'll drink some water through a K-Did and Hiker Pro Not boiled
[00:14:55] Just filtered through a high quality filter And drink that water for a day Or a day and a half or whatever the situation is Right? To hydrate And then I come home and I do life And I go back to drinking What I normally drink
[00:15:12] And I go back to eating what I normally eat And exercising and all those kinds of things That's totally different Than every bit of water that I drink Is going through a water filter That used to be something I use just rarely
[00:15:31] So in other words, you can't necessarily Unless you're drinking out of those water filters Every day through like a gravity filter Like a burky or an Alexa Pure You can't... is it Alexa Pro or Alexa Pure? I don't know You know what I mean
[00:15:48] You can't know how well they work You can't know how that filtered water Is going to affect your body, right? So good to have options Good to have options Good to have options beyond just the water filtration To make sure your water's safe as possible

[00:19:52] With likely infected cattle This case is notable for being the first instance Of avian flu influenza Detected in cows in the United States And it's only the second case ever recorded In a human in the U.S. So that story broke A day ago, two days ago maybe
[00:20:10] And I said, you know, it is what it is And for the first time Over at the Collapse Survivor App Which everyone should have Because it's fun We get a real threat alert We get a real threat alert The H5N1 virus, previously known as avian bird flu
[00:20:29] Is spreading into more mammal populations A recent human case in the U.S. Is not from human to human transmission But the risk is increasing And Drew goes to talk about 60% Potential 60% lethality With H5N1 And so on and so forth Now this guy experienced

[00:21:15] See this one was in Does it say where? Just Texas Department of State Department of Health Now we have farewell What is it? Not farewell Texas Notice, far well Texas The Texas Agriculture Commissioner now Announced the halting of operations At Cal Main Foods
[00:21:43] The nation's largest fresh egg producer Was ordered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Depopulate or cull 1.6 million laying hens And 337 pullets at their Texas facility The commission advised this is absolutely Devastating news for Cal Main In the entire Panhandle region Which has already suffered so much already
[00:22:03] I mean the Texas Texas is bleeding Agriculture between the wildfire and now this The order comes after bird flu is discovered At the facility separately The bird flu has been detected in 11 dairy herds Across Texas, Kansas, Michigan and New Mexico Since 2022 the bird flu has impacted
[00:22:25] 82 million birds in the U.S. To include egg laying birds Recently has invaded the dairy industry We expect the USDA and CDC to be more involved Which means they'll order more cullings And more restrictions however we don't anticipate Shortages to beef, milk or eggs
[00:22:42] Minimal price hikes could happen but nothing That the everyday consumer would notice of note Cal Main was ordered to kill The amount of birds that Cal Main was ordered to kill Is less than 4% of their flock So what we know is There's bird flu in cows
[00:23:03] And that's a weird one And this is something Drew Miller's talked about a lot About the increasing mammalian population Diversity of species that are mammal That are catching this bird flu What's your pandemic preparedness situation like Now nobody's a newbie to pandemic preparedness right
[00:23:28] We had a primer just four years ago So I hope everybody's got their bug in process Honed in But the other thing is The CDC, the USDA When these people get involved in these things It's not good You know what I mean?
[00:23:53] I mean it's good to some degree But when they start making declarations You know how that can go bad fast I think it's... I don't know enough From a virological, is that a thing? Virological standpoint With what's happening with the transmission between people And animals right
[00:24:18] Like I know you can get it You can get the avian flu from chickens Direct or close contact with chickens I guess you can get it from cows What most concerns me right now Is not the prospect of H5N1 Becoming a massive killer of the population
[00:24:44] And I could be wrong I mean this is Drew's baby right here He talks about this all the time What I really worry about Is this concept being used to cull off Way more animals In an effort to From the front line look like
[00:25:05] Oh, we're taking care of these viruses But what's really happening is We're limiting people's access to protein Because that protein's killing the planet That's what I fundamentally worry about You know Now again, I've been saying for a long time Everybody needs chickens Everybody needs chickens Everybody needs chickens
[00:25:28] Because when herds of birds And the millions and tens of millions Get culled and the prices are affected I don't even feel it Doesn't touch me Many of you out there doesn't touch you In fact, not only that You can become, you know You can save people money
[00:25:50] Who live around you By handing out dozens of eggs Here, here, here, here Right? Or you can sell them to people around you At a price that, you know Is way better and way more competitive than the market So I don't know All these stories come out folks
[00:26:12] As radical as they are As scary as they can be As nerve-wracking as they can be And I guess I'm just at a point now where All roads turn to self-sufficiency And the further you get down that road of self-reliance
[00:26:27] The less you have to worry about this kind of stuff You know In other words, if a pandemic were to break out of H5N1 Your best bet would be to stay home So address what you need to address In order to be able to stay home
[00:26:43] This is the only action you need to take You don't need an antidepressant to deal with it, right? If the egg culling goes crazy all over the country And all the chickens get killed and burned Or whatever the situation is
[00:26:58] Well then you should be producing your own eggs anyway Right? I don't know When you wake up and you work towards this stuff daily It gets kind of boring To talk about the various threats Do you know what I mean? Like it doesn't really light my fire
