[00:01:22] That's what I used to say right last night show was prepper gold. It was awesome and Now I find myself saying it was gold the lines between prepper and

[00:01:35] Normie or whatever have blurred so much in the concerns of the world have taken such a forefront and then and Mainstream media has hopped on the sort of doom and gloom bandwagon so heavily that to me it looks like Last night's show all about the

[00:01:52] Maybe about four or five really deep prepping questions Answered by myself answered by Dave Jones Just gold man, just go I mean if you're here and you're listening to this podcast That stuff is invaluable that information is invaluable

[00:02:11] For a number of reasons experience being you know the greatest of them so Today's PBN Daily News is titled a well-rational life and it has everything to do with

[00:02:24] The conversation we're gonna have well the conversations that we had last night what you're gonna hear on the rising Republic today and What we're gonna do for one threat one solution in today's PBN Daily News

[00:03:25] We're what you've been looking for all right, so let's get into our one threat one solution last week We talked about this is from our friends over at the gray man brief last week we talked about things getting better in the West with with

[00:03:40] Water rationing and Oregon farmers was Oregon or Idaho might have been Idaho. Yeah, I think it was Idaho farmers Getting their water rights back well, you know this The battle with your electricity the battle with your water the battle with your food all of this stuff man

[00:03:59] This never goes away It's sort of similar to like a second amendment attack, you know what I mean where they're always attacking even if they're just taking little nibbles So let's get into it

[00:04:10] Government oversight self-sufficiency with the gray man brief that is our one threat one solution. Okay In Oregon law limits the use of groundwater on private property to irrigate up to half an acre for personal use

[00:04:39] Not for commercial purposes some small farms violated this by using groundwater without a permit For crops they sold with increased enforcement funding The water resource department mandated these farms or personal gardens over a half acre So anybody growing food over half an acre

[00:04:57] To obtain water use rights a process that takes a year according to multiple reports Misconceptions spread claiming personal garden watering was banned, which is false The ability of citizens to irrigate gate their farms has seen increased regulations. So You know the sort of the psyched up news was

[00:05:18] Holy shit, we have to stop ordering our gardens. The government says so First of all If the government says so and it's something as heinous as that you need to start questioning you need to start saying to yourself What's it look like if I follow that path? right

[00:05:40] So what? What happens if I don't who's gonna enforce it who's gonna you know what I mean you get you got to start Wrapping your head around these things because a lot of these laws are gonna keep coming keep coming keep coming

[00:05:54] So instead of a direct ban on gardening the government has made it more difficult to sustain a home garden particularly larger gardens that are capable of producing quantities for sale But also larger gardens that are capable of producing food to feed your family may be exclusively right

[00:06:15] I'll tell you right now something that I didn't do out of brilliance. I did out of by accident fundamentally And I can't even say that I'm the one responsible for it all but you know, you've heard the word decentralized you've heard about things like decentralized

[00:06:30] gun storage and currency and all that kind of stuff like If you have a faker and you're worried about this in Oregon And I'd recommend this anyway for all all people who are self-sufficiency minded. You should decentralize your food growing also What does that look like?

[00:06:49] It looks like hidden perennial gardens not hard to do You look at local perennials that will sustain in your environment Food producing perennials would be in other words, you know food that comes back year after year

[00:07:03] You don't have to go there and plant it and trellis it and feed it and fertile. I you know Real stuff that grows where it's supposed to grow and comes back year after year

[00:07:12] You look outside. You see green stuff growing that there. It's all perennial or trees, right? so Decentralized gardening can be that it can also be encouraging everyone in your family to grow food Right encouraging other people who live nearby in your family to grow food

[00:07:30] Hey, why don't you have a garden? You should have a small garden if you have a small garden and three of your relatives and two Of your friends have a small gardens

[00:07:38] You guys can do a lot, you know, and you don't have to worry about hitting some kind of half-acre Hoosy watsy, you know what I mean Because I look I don't look at a story like this guys and go oh Oregon is is so crazy. I

[00:07:55] Look at a story like this and I say This is the future This is the future a well-rassioned life for you from your government, right? You can have this much water you can have this much air you can have this much electricity

[00:08:10] You can have this much red meat you can fly in planes this many times per year You can this this this right So what our duty as freedom-loving Americans is right now? We have to figure out how to get around all of it early and often

[00:08:25] Early and often the government puts these crazy statutes ORS 537.54 or OAR 690-300-0010 That specifically allow water used for small irrigated commercial when all that stuff starts going into effect That's when you just have to you have got to figure out

[00:08:49] How to go around it how to go around it rain barrels decentralized gardening Whatever kind of water sources you can muster this is water like If you can't argue your way To self-sufficiency with water

[00:09:05] We got a much bigger problem and the fact that the matter is when it comes to water You don't have to argue water tanks can be stored underground right wells can be dug

[00:09:17] Covertly you're not supposed to I get that but guess what I don't think your government's supposed to regulate your water use either Right there's a lot of there's a lot of things not supposed to be happening and

[00:09:30] One thing to consider. Ah see now now I'm going off on a tangent yesterday. I was quick One thing to consider though is the entire tolerable acts right the intolerable acts I

[00:09:45] Don't want to go into history look it up if you don't know what it is probably if you're listening to my show Most people know what it is

[00:09:52] We're there we're there with our government at the very least and so it's very hard for me to wrap my head around this idea that like Only the peasants follow the rules that keep them alive

[00:10:06] Right don't get me wrong. I appreciate justice and so on but and I want law and order But when you start telling me You can only have five gallons of water a day to water your plants It's not about a protest in the streets

[00:10:21] It's about well, we'll just figure our way around that alternative everything for those of you who listen to the prep or broadcasting Network on the regular Alright, so that's our one threat one solution folks it

[00:10:33] You know it calls into question how you get the things that you need and I hope that you're considering How you get the things that you need? We're gonna wrap it up We're gonna wrap it up with our good friend Khalil Jibran

[00:11:40] This is a poem called The Poet actually and talks about the value therein and a Variety of things man until when a man until when oh existence will you build house of honor to them that need

[00:11:53] With the earth with the blood and shun those who give you peace and repose until when will you exalt killing and Those who make bend the neck beneath the yoke of oppression and forget them that pour into the blackness of the night

[00:12:06] I wanted to read you this final stanza But I just got tripped up on that because that's pretty cool the light of their eyes to show you the day's splendor Those whose lives are passed in misery that happiness and delight might not pass you by and

[00:12:22] The final stanza here, I know most people aren't into this kind of stuff, but it is what it is It's important poetry is important arts important these things You start to abandon these things and you wind up with You wind up with Oakland, California's what you

[00:12:38] And you oh poets life of this life That's pretty cool If you if you can appreciate poetry and understand that it is like someone grabbing life from mid-air and presenting it

[00:12:53] It's very cool to Khalil Jibran called poets the life of life, right and you poets life of this life You have conquered the ages despite their tyranny and gained for your gain for you a laurel crown in the face of delusions thorns
