[00:00:04] [SPEAKER_00]: You're listening to me, to pay the end.

[00:00:10] [SPEAKER_00]: You were the last night just to fill it a hand."

[00:00:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Rain Midnight Rain

[00:00:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing but the wild rain

[00:00:37] [SPEAKER_00]: On this bleak hut and solitude in me

[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Remembering again that I shall die

[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And neither hear the rain nor give it thanks

[00:00:48] [SPEAKER_00]: For washing me cleaner than I have been

[00:00:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Since I was born into this solitude

[00:00:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Blessed are the dead that the rain rains upon

[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I kind of could say that I've been waiting for this rainy day

[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_00]: When the leaves are just starting to turn

[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't say that I had Edward Thompson's

[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_00]: 1916 poem titled Rain

[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Plan for you

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_00]: But I found that this man who was writing poetry in the trenches

[00:01:29] [SPEAKER_00]: In 1916 created this simple and short reminder of the

[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, the precious rain

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_00]: And more importantly than that

[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_00]: The most important or at least one of the most important revelations that man can have

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Which is death which is mortality

[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Which is time

[00:01:56] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like that

[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_00]: This is the one that you have to have

[00:02:00] [SPEAKER_00]: The sooner you can have it, the better your life's going to be

[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_00]: And some people never have it

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_00]: They never come to realize that tomorrow is not promised

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_00]: They never come to realize that death stalks us at every turn

[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_00]: They never come to realize that hidden up there in the corner of your room

[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_00]: That you're sitting in now and you're all facing your bedroom

[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_00]: And you're kitchen and you're dining room

[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_00]: You're living room

[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Wherever you are listening to this podcast

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Read up there in the corner like a cobweb

[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Like an old cobweb that you can't seem to get rid of

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Is the cloak of death himself, the grim reaper

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_00]: And he's always right there. He's always breathing down your neck

[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Some people put it so far out of their mind that they

[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Spended an entire lifetime wasting life, wasting time

[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Never really ever considering what it is they should be doing or what they ought to be doing or what they could be doing

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_00]: With their 70 to 80 years

[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_00]: You know

[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Average

[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Average

[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Average, 70

[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I learned this early. Wasn't a death

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Wasn't anything like that

[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I had no you know, super

[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Revelation moment where a train flew by my head

[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_00]: And I was fairly grazed by a bullet in warfare

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_00]: None of that for me

[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I just had the revelation early thinking

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Through thinking

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, that old thing we used to do

[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Two things I used to do a lot of I still do today actually

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_00]: But most people don't is

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Being bored and thinking

[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Except now boredom has to be forced

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And all honesty

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_00]: So you know, you have to be aware that this is your life

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Number one

[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_00]: You have to be aware that this is your life

[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not Donald Trump's life

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not the MSNBC hosts life

[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not Kamala Harris's life

[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not your boss's life

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not your kids' lives

[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not your spouse's life

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_00]: It's your life

[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_00]: You'll likely die alone

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And that'll be the end

[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_00]: The chances that you'll die in the bed

[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_00]: We're holding your spouses hand

[00:04:30] Right?

[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And then whispering all your good deeds

[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And your ear while you pass over to the other side painlessly

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_00]: He's not usually how it goes

[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_00]: At least not in my experience

[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's horrible

[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_00]: It's horrible, it's terrible and it often happens

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_00]: When you're alone

[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And you know, you might even prefer it

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_00]: When you're able to be able to face that part of your life alone

[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_00]: So what you have to do is you have to wake up every day

[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And you have to go outside and you have to look up in the sky

[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_00]: You have to wake up early enough to see either the sunrise

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Or the morning itself

[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_00]: So that you can appreciate the fact that God paints you

[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_00]: To incredible portrait season every day

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_00]: At least

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_00]: You at least get to

[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_00]: In credible moments each and every day to marvel at the sky

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_00]: It's birth and it's death

[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_00]: And if nothing else, if you have no dollars, no sense, no house, no clothes, nothing

[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Hell, if you have no self on, you'll probably better off

[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_00]: If you have nothing

[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Then you know that you have the artwork of God every morning, every night

[00:05:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Every evening, let's go with that

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_00]: That's a given

[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_00]: More and more

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_00]: As I get older

[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't help but think

[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean about

[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_00]: How much control

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I have on my life

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_00]: To either ruin it or make it exactly what I wanted to be

[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_00]: It's universal too, by the way

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's probably been with you, but you didn't understand it

[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_00]: All of your life

[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You have it too

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not easy

[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't mean that it'll be easy to craft the life that you want

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't matter that

[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Or it doesn't mean that it will be something that you can do with a few key decisions

[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I've learned something this year

[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's something I knew but I've experienced it this year

[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_00]: And it is the adaptability

[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_00]: The necessity of adaptability and entrepreneurship

[00:06:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you know what I mean?

[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_00]: These are hard lessons to learn

[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And they're lessons that one must learn

[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_00]: If you're going to be successful

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_00]: But they also hurt

[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_00]: They hurt

[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_00]: They affect things in your life

[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And you realize that in moments like these

[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_00]: You either have to sit down, look at metrics, look at money, look at things and say to yourself

[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_00]: This is changing

[00:07:18] [SPEAKER_00]: What should I do?

[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And not just what should I do but what's the best thing to do

[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_00]: For me

[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I know it sounds like conceded or narcissistic or whatever it is

[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_00]: But people have to understand that you will break

[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Ask any interrogator

[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_00]: So

[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_00]: You have to prop yourself up a little bit

[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_00]: In other words, if you're going to take on extreme endeavors

[00:07:53] [SPEAKER_00]: If you're going to take on a burden that is immense

[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And if listen, if you're talking to Dave Jones

[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_00]: If you're going to live the kind of life you want to live

[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_00]: You're going to take on tremendous burdens

[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Because the difference between a life well

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, lived

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_00]: And just a life is

[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Everything that happens after

[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Comfort

[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Everything that happens at the end of energy

[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Everything that happens when you peel yourself off the floor

[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Everything that happens when you tell yourself

[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't do anything else

[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't have the strength to do more

[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't have the energy to do more

[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't have the patience to do more

[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Once you hit the barrier of excuses and go through that barrier

[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_00]: That's when you start making the life you want

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Everything before that is you can just auto pile

[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_00]: You've got this routine, you've got this list of things you do

[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_00]: But but but but but but but but but but but

[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay now it's dinner time and whatever you do all that and clear this you whatever you don't

[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Whatever the thing is right

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_00]: All that is just stuff that has to get done

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And you can live a life and enjoy life of all the things that I have to get done in the day

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_00]: A little bit of time here to do maybe some free time stuff that I want to do

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And then off the bed and wake up the next day and start to hold things again

[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_00]: A life of experience

[00:09:24] [SPEAKER_00]: A life that is extraordinary

[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Only happens after you hit the wall of excuses

[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Everything after the wall of excuses is extraordinary

[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what it is in my experience

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll give you some examples so you know I'm not just spouting philosophical nonsense

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that we'll even talk about preparedness today

[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a rainy day. It's lovely the coffee's great. The lavender candle is tremendous

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I had the window up listening to the rainfall the wind blow. I got tremendous worries

[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I got all kinds of stuff to worry about right

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_00]: I got all kinds of concerns personal world political everything

[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Right

[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And all of that has to be brushed aside to enjoy the day

[00:10:16] [SPEAKER_00]: All of that has to be forced

[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Into a certain hole in the brain so that the day can be enjoyed and that things can be ticked off the list

[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_00]: And the life can be lived and we can also enjoy the coffee enjoy the candle

[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Enjoy the wind enjoy the rain

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Dunk and trussle

[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_00]: A guy who

[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Most people listening probably wouldn't even appreciate

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you'd like him or not he's acquired taste for sure

[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_00]: But he's somebody who kind of resonated with me right off the bat

[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I found him through Joe Rogan you know a decade ago and really like always

[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Lingeoy does message not all of it, you know, but a lot of it

[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And he's not a very not mean he's a quotable guy, but he's not a popular guy who gets quoted a lot

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_00]: But he has a quote that I think is so important for this day and age and for people to understand

[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_00]: About about and it all filters back to making the life and living life you want to live

[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Right

[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Dunk and trussles a comedian so you have to understand this this is cynical and funny

[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Right the way he said it

[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_00]: But he says some poor some poor phoneless fool

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_00]: It's probably sitting next to a waterfall somewhere totally unaware of how angry and scared he's supposed to be

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_00]: And if you get dunking trussles like this all wacky and wild and he talks like kind of high pitched like this

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_00]: He's from North Carolina and and

[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_00]: That's an amazing quote some poor phoneless fool is probably sitting next to a waterfall somewhere

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Totally unaware of how angry and scared he's supposed to be we've all been in those positions

[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_00]: If you're into bushcraft if you're into camping if you're into those kind of things

[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_00]: We've all spent time next to a body of water

[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Totally disconnected from anything related to trump

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Biden harrests politics

[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_00]: The NFL you know what I mean all these sort of

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Ephemeral issues of the day

[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_00]: The life that you want to make is on the other side of of

[00:12:37] Excuses

[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_00]: The life that you want to live is well it by the way. It's well within your grasp

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_00]: When I first started doing podcasts and look no matter what I ever tell you about doing podcasts

[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_00]: No matter how this whole career of mine pans out understand

[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_00]: It's human nature to take things for granted my life

[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_00]: That's been incredible because of it

[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Not just because of you guys and because of the network and our great hosts

[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_00]: But you know the life that I live beyond that and I want you to understand it's not monetary

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, it's far from monetary

[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_00]: It's about to life, you know what I mean it's the quality of the life

[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_00]: But when I started doing those podcasts there were nights when I did two podcasts after nine o'clock two hours

[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And in those nights I was working two jobs

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'd leave my first job about three o'clock PM. I had to be there at six

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I'd leave around two thirty three o'clock my next job was started about four

[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, a lot of times I'd go to the gym between or I'd go to the pond down the street for my other job catch bass go to work

[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'd be back to work, you know and it depends on the night I might work till nine and I worked till 12 you know what I mean?

[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I was a cook at a wine bar

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I was at new into Virginia only a couple years I had had some jobs

[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I had lost some jobs and I was just working my ass off to pay the bills had a new son

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And I remember getting

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_00]: There would it would be those nights, you know where I would be up

[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Long beyond comfort, long past excuses all your two tired you two this you two that and I'd be recording the live podcast for PBN

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'd knock the live podcast out on a Friday or a Wednesday I don't remember what it was

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I'd knock the live podcast out

[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And then immediately after I'd record another 45 minutes to an hour for the prep or podcast radio network

[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_00]: And then I'd send that off, I was making no money

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Zero dollars zero cents

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_00]: No benefits, I wasn't getting people weren't sending me

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Stuff to review and nobody was reaching out emailing me go and hey, you know you really changed my life Mr. Walden

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_00]: You're really you know what I mean?

[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Thank God there were no metrics to look at back then I probably would have quit altogether

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_00]: But maybe not

[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe not because if I weren't up doing podcasts and I was up writing books or I was up early writing books

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Or I was working out at four o'clock in the morning with Antoine my buddy Antoine back in those days

[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Because you in order to make the light you know you have to make time to make the life you want

[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_00]: You have to find the will find the patience to make the life you want

[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I say patience because this is one of the core things about making the life you want

[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_00]: You know there are moments that happen in my week sometimes almost daily

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Where I'm quit and I know you are too because you have kids, but your hit with this very clear decision

[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_00]: It's the end of the night it's the end of the day it's been a long day you're sitting on the couch or in a chair or lying in bed or whatever it is

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_00]: And there's an opportunity to do one more thing with your kids

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Or there's an opportunity to do one more thing with your spouse whatever it is

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Or even your dogs for God's sake and you know it's there. You know there's a little window

[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_00]: And you know that you're telling yourself you're dead and you have no energy and you have no patience and you just say I just should just rest

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_00]: You know

[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And you know a lot of times you probably should just rest but never forget the time for rest will come and you will have no option beyond it

[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_00]: The time for a forever rest is at hand

[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't know when it's going to show up, right?

[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_00]: So I find myself in this situation all the time and sometimes I make the right choice sometimes I don't but I find myself in this situation

[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that I have a problem with this. Dad come watch this, dad come see this right?

[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Jimmy comes see this, Jimmy come upstairs, Jimmy this, they're right

[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what my wife calls me and

[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_00]: That's where life gets extraordinary

[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_00]: That's where it gets extraordinary

[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_00]: You could do a great job you know get a great get a raise and all that kind of stuff at work

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's great too, it's not wrong with it

[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_00]: But that's just life

[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_00]: You know the extraordinary stuff happens after life and the extraordinary people just do it

[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_00]: They do extra

[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_00]: As Steve Harvey used to say

[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_00]: In order to be extraordinary you have to do extra

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_00]: And the reason I bring it all up is because

[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_00]: You can not only can you

[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I went on a tie rate on Instagram yesterday about this not only can you make your own life but we've reached a point now where we have to make our own life

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_00]: We have to make it now, we have to make our own life

[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_00]: The way that we want it

[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Why do we have to?

[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Because the lizards have decided to make your life for you now

[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_00]: That's the big difference, this is the biggest difference

[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Of our time compared to any other

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Is your life is going to be made up a certain way your life is being transformed right now before your very eyes

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And you have a choice to either take control of it and craft at the way you want

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Or if you don't go that route

[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_00]: If you decide I don't want to get into all this prepping and survival

[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to get into all this stuff, I don't want to learn gardening

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_00]: If you decide that self-reliance and independence

[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Even if you're not interested in preparing for emergencies and disasters

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you just decide that making more and owning more of the processes that make your life go around

[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Is not interesting enough for you

[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Then you're going to eat crickets and lab grown meat

[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_00]: You're going to do everything that everyone tells you to do

[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Everything that's forced upon you, you'll have to do

[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Because you won't set up your alternative everything

[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_00]: You won't put in the work to build the life that you want

[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_00]: And you just have to reckon that's where we're at

[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_00]: There's no more coasting

[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Like through the 90s, your parents or you or whoever coasted

[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_00]: There was this coasting feeling, there was this feeling that this is the routine

[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_00]: This is the routine we take to kid-to-baseball, he plays

[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_00]: We talk to whoever we want on the phone

[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_00]: As long as we want, we come home

[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we do a little internet time, we do a little movie time, we do a little family time

[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_00]: We go to the supermarket, we buy the food that we want

[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_00]: We know all the beef, we know all the chicken, it's chicken, we know all the apples

[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_00]: We watch the news, we know that there's some what telling us to truth to some degree

[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_00]: All this stuff, and all of it got corrupted

[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_00]: All of it got corrupted

[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Now you know, you know already in your heart of hearts

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_00]: That you're being socially engineered every day

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_00]: What should you do, what shouldn't you do, what should you say, what shouldn't you say

[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_00]: What should you buy, what shouldn't you buy, oh, I don't know, maybe you shouldn't do that

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't seem very socially irresponsible, what words should you use, what words shouldn't you use

[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_00]: What's changed is

[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Not that the grocery store is deciding what products to put on the shelf

[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_00]: To give you the selection that you desire

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_00]: There are greater hands manipulating the world now

[00:21:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Right, there are greater organizations, there are greater

[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_00]: What do they call them, interlocking corporate directorships

[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_00]: There are greater arms of influence that are deciding

[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_00]: How your life should be lived, and I really do think you're either going to take control of your life

[00:21:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Or someone else takes control of your life

[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_00]: There is no middle ground anymore

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_00]: There's no, I'm just going to do what I'm supposed to do and be a good person and live a normal life

[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's a possibility anymore

[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Every bit of control that you grapple for is the freedom, is your freedom

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_00]: This is what PBN membership's all about, man

[00:22:08] [SPEAKER_00]: This is what it's all about

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_00]: You go to the membership website PBNFoundley.com sign up two day sign up

[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Don't waste your life, don't waste your time

[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it's a very meager

[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Investment for most people, right?

[00:22:26] [SPEAKER_00]: If you can't afford 60 bucks for the full year

[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I've even given everyone a $5 option a month

[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Because I want you to do well in this new world

[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I want you to go there and see the articles I have about a central or the videos podcast all the above

[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_00]: About essential home-steading tools, what tools do you need to start taking this control of your life?

[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I put a great one in up last week about the SHTF, SHTF's chefs, list of kitchen tools, you know, for scratch cooking

[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_00]: You want to take control of your life, man, you need to stop eating out, I want to a pizza shop over the weekend

[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I sat down at the bar stool my wife ordered a pepperoni pizza

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_00]: One was vegan because she can't do dairy, right?

[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Two pizzas, they were big and they were good

[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_00]: We also ordered a bottle of coke, cola, glass bottle and eliminate

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_00]: The lady took my card and swiped it

[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And right before she swiped it, she told me the total of $78

[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And I almost fell out of the bar stool

[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I looked at my family and the place is brand new and we're trying it out

[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_00]: So I looked at my family and very quickly in my head

[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Once she said that number out loud for two pizzas

[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I said we need to leave

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And then I fought back that emotion for the experience and said, well let's see what they got going on for $80

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_00]: For two pizzas and a coke and eliminate

[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And you look, the pizzas were big, it was good pizza, I'll probably never go back

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Right because I don't have an $80 budget for two pizzas, I just don't have it's crazy

[00:24:12] [SPEAKER_00]: But it was just a reminder of like this is the way the world's going

[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I can go make a pizza, probably not as good as theirs

[00:24:22] [SPEAKER_00]: But I can go home and make a pizza for the cost of four cups of flour, a package of yeast

[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_00]: You know a $5 pack of pepperoni and a $5 pack of mozzarella cheese

[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's not even hard

[00:24:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I'll put it up on the members side, maybe I'll show you the ICs

[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Olive oil heavy pizza dough recipe

[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_00]: But you know, this is what I mean

[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_00]: If you think one day you're going to wake up and be like, oh everything's cheaper and everything's better

[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not happening

[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_00]: It's never happened

[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_00]: We're never going to wake up and like, oh the burgers it McDonald's are 10 cents again

[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_00]: This is not the deterrent you, it's not the scary

[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I know it can make the upset particularly if you're one of the people who are out there on the fringe

[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Fringe listeners to PBN are the type of people who are completely unprepared

[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think anyway

[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And then you have the security master class of myself and Dave Jones

[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Who by the way Dave Jones what he did in the army he walked around Iraq
