Say, every once in a while, you freeze out. Earth happened there, We're live, We are live. It's it said. The browser failed to play the video clip. It played it on Instagram. Though, okay, welcome in everybody, man, I got weird feedback in my headphones. Has nothing to do with you, though. We're good. It is Parkling night. We averted doomsday. So we get to talk about these Parkling radios. We'll talk about I'm sure several other things to do. Dave Jones, you do what did. He hang on? I got us? Yeah, a big day. Are you there? It seems to be my computer. Oh my gosh, let me if me close everything here, I'm gonna do the same thing. So oh m. Freaking pock lying show. I don't know for how long. Yeah, you may have frozen up. You froze up completely. Oh no, yeah, this is not good, not good at all. Let's see if it catches up. Let's see if it catches up. It seems to be evening out a little bit. Can you hear me? Can you see me? Yep? Yep, yep, yep. I think think we might be in the clear here. I don't want to get too crazy now, I'll never use this camera again. It's bad luck. Telling Dave Jones at the beginning of the show, I said, man, this laptop camera is not half bad. It does look fine, but the whole show just broke like crazy. I don't know what. Okay. Then we are live on Instagram rumble x doing our thing. Dave Jones, you had a big work day today. Man, what were you guys working on? Oh my gosh, you're right. I was trimming with a chainsaw. We're cutting back, uh, reclaiming our property from nature and uh gosh, and you know how you gotta you gotta cut, then you gotta pull it back, and oh yeah, take it to different piles. We have a chipping pile and we have a burn pile. So, oh my gosh. Yeah, Now, did you bust out the Prepper camp handsaw that we were awarded last year for doing our speaking. Yes, well, Maria used that until the battery ran dead, and uh this was a while ago, okay, So uh no, I had to I had to get something a little more, you know, horse powers, because I've oh my gosh, it's a battle. I look at that one and I wonder if maybe that's a better home defense deterrent than it is an actual chainsaw, because I think if I ran out my back door, you know, if someone were at the front door being nefarious, and if I ran down the steps out the back door with the dogs and the chainsaw handheld, I think most people would ship themselves probably. Yeah. Yeah, that's that's quite a sight there, naked, naked, naked, you have to do it naked. All bets are off. Then people are running. I mean people would Holy shit, don't go to that house. Whatever you do, things change in the Walton House after dark. You don't want to go over there. Oh my gosh. So it was all brush beaten back Huh. Yeah, that's that's part of the thing. We're rearranging some fence to let the chickens out more. And uh, I think we're actually getting more chickens. So that's the reason behind rearranging the fence. It's it's just never ending, never ending. Yeah, that's it. Hey, bear World order over there on Instagram. What's up? Yeah, that's it. That's the homestead life, dude, never ending. Lives in and lif ives out and meet in and meet out, and eggs in and eggs out, and plants in and plants out and repeat. Right, yep, yeah, I get it. I get it. We are got all kind of crazy stuff happening here. We need to get back into quail world. I was pricing to Lapia today. Actually, I really want to do the aquaponics. Oh us. Just for a second, but yeah, I want to do aquaponics too. And I want to do the you know, the fish and the aquaponics and everything everything in a cycle. I want to try that. Yeah, that was my first ambitious thing. Now I think what I want to do is keep the fish alive with the solar pump. I want to do the solar pump and the five gallon buckets sand filter. I don't know if you seen one of those things, but they look to make If you can keep the fish alive, then I feel like I can keep the plants alive easy, you know, I can get that system going. I don't want to bite off too much and then have just you know, a waste of time with the fish, because the fish is what I'm interested in. Most do a lot with them fish man, not just food, but garden, you know what I mean. Chickens, scraps for feed, like yep, a lot of them, bones, man, them chickens, eat them bones and just pardons them chicken egg shells up real good calcium calcium. Yeah. So, and why don't go aheads I mean the heads, fins, you know, all that stuff. And if nothing else, put them in the the maggot bucket that I showed. The maggot bucket did great. By the way, the maggot buke something like twelve hundred views over there on Instagram. What it was huge. They loved it. It's amazing. That's show I guest for ships. Some giggles. Well, if they liked it the maggot bucket, I got some ship to show them. Way eleven eighty one views right now for the just the two second clip of Dave Jones. Oh, man, I wonder why we're having so much trouble. It's weird. Never have trouble. I is it me? No, it's not you. I think it's my computer. I do. I think for some reason my computer has given us a little grief tonight. I don't know what it is, huh, but we'll work through it. We'll work through it. Yeah, let's see what the heck's going on. It's you know what it probably is running the damn camera. Who knows. I'm gonna really mess it up for one second. Camera, That's what it is. I'm gonna really mess things up for one second. So hang in there, everybody, give me a second. I just want to run my task manager and see what the hell is killing everything. No, actually, it doesn't shut it down. Okay, no, it doesn't pat at all, mane. I don't know what it is. I don't do Wi Fi. I'm hardwired. Everything is hardwired into the computer. Anyway, whatever, we'll work through what it is. What it is, audience is smart enough to get the gist of it. Things go wrong. So one of the big things we wanted to do on this show is go over our experience with the UH with the pock Link radio, the handheld push to talk radio. We had the Forge or the five G analogue combo, which I think is not the best radio to get because they have a four G or a five G whatever it is Wi Fi version, and I think that is the one to get. If you watch this show and you think to yourself, I want to get one of these pock Links, that's the way to go because the five G with the Wi Fi, what's going on? Maybe it is you you you Oh, give us some feedback, folks, what are you seeing and hearing? We'll get the audience to tell us If the whole show is total trash. I have a hard time believing it, but you never know. We could be undergoing a massive Iranian hack. Who knows. But anyhow, get if you like what you see. We're gonna talk about these ins in detail. The list above is exactly what we're going to talk about tonight. Hardware, the hardware itself, the POC performance, which the POC performance has to do with, how did we connect? When did we connect? How did we connect? We're going to talk about it as a prepper solution where we think it fits. And then you know, basically overall, as a radio, what do you got with a Pocklink radio? The link down below in the video and in the show notes you will see pocklink dot com slash Prepper Broadcast and get your radio there, Okay, and yeah, just get them there. Because I said so, me and Dave actually will get to keep our radios. Well, I'm gonna get Dave a better one and we'll talk about that if you buy. I think we need at least one more person to buy a Pocklink radio from that link, So help us out with that. How we look at Dave? Are we still viable? Yeah? Yeah, it just it just glitches every so often. Now, I don't know if it's you or me. I'm in my This is a field jacket liner. It's a very. Lightweight, and it's gonna be cold tonight. We're getting down to freezing. We got frost warnings. Yeah, I don't want to hear that. I know tonight and tomorrow night, so I don't know. Yeah, this happened once before and we didn't get any fruit, so that that's really gonna suck, I think. But it makes me worry about Rick. Yeah, yeah, you know, I was thinking. I was thinking today about living on the mountain. It sounds great, it sounds great. But. Half your steps are uphill. Yeah, no matter. Driveway is no joke. Yeah, your driveway is a legitimate workout destination. Like if I lived at your house, I would you're you're you're driveway would be a workout place, you know what I mean. You could run sprint through that thing. You could carry kettlebells up that thing. Yeah, it's quite an angle. Yeah, so yeah, I was thinking you know, that's my measure if I can make it up dragging the garbage cans all in one, you know, without stopping. Oh, yeah, that is. That is my measure of success. It should be because I know quite a few guys much younger than you that I think would probably need a break halfway up that hill with with trash cans or any load, maybe none, maybe no, just walking up the thing. Yeah, it's no joke. It's no joke. You guys. Dave Jones will walk work you under the table. Oh real, I mean, but I could see it. I have seen it. Hey, Phoenix, what's up? Ah? Yoh, you know the Phoenix will be a prepper camp. Oh, I know she's gonna drag everybody with her too. Yeah, let me let let us know if we got any issues. I think we might have leveled things out a bit here hopefully, so we should be good to go. But she'll'll give us some intel if we're having trouble. Okay, so we do have to talk about prepper camp though. Yeah, let's do that. Let's do that while we got everybody, cause you know, these would be a cool little they do analog, they'd be a cool little thing to bring to Prepper Camp. Also absolutely, I tentatively not this weekend, but the following am supposed to be going to try on to go see the place. Oh yeah, I'm gonna go do a little sneaky intel and see what's going on at the new location for Prepper Camp. Wow, that's cool. Yeah, it should be you see the weekend after next or what. Yeah, not this Saturday, but the following is the tenant plan. We'll see, however, I'll. Be I will be interested to hear your take because I gotta get the whole family's going. I gotta get rooms. The whole shooting match. Huh, the whole shooting match. Okay, well, yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna get down there meet Rick at the location. Then we're gonna go down to the pond where the whole thing is gonna be. I'll film it all. You guys will get to see the whole thing. Oh awesome. We'll come back and maybe I'll try to superimpose a tent on the show everybody where we'll be at. But yeah, new location August what fourteen, fifteen sixteenth? Is that right? New new time, new location, all new vendors. I heard from the other day he said, hey, send me, send me some stuff. You know, Maria makes tinctures and soap and all that kind of stuff, and we're gonna be We're gonna have freeze dried eggs. So if you want freeze dried eggs, come on down. You have had the Jones Home Homestead of freeze dried eggs. Very good, definitely top quality. You're gonna want those awesome classes this year. Yeah, you know what, I'm teaching the uh home business class. I don't know exactly what it's called, but Rick asked me to teach that one. So I'm teaching the home business for freedom, freedom, Home business for independent, something on those lines. And I'm gonna hit you with I'm gonna hit you with ten businesses you can start in a weekend. Wow. Three wow or next to nothing, dude, Yeah, ten of them. I'm gonna send Deanna to your class. Yeah, it's good. It's gonna be a great class. It's gonna be a lot like the entrepreneurship class I did like three years ago. Yeah, it'd be very heavy on information, bring a bring a pen in a pad. Gosh, because I've been doing this crazy ship for years now. But yep, you do. You know Dave NBC for sure? Right, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I gotta. I gotta do the NBC guy thing and I did. I don't think anything else other than that that one year. I did three class cross Yeah. Yeah. Usually we've got a lot of speakers, so it'll probably be good. Yeah. I did the Vehicular Preparedness fighting from the Vehicle class last year. Man, that was a great class. Holy crap, that was great. Everybody should see the Mestastic class. That is a musk if you're in the off grade comms. Yep. Absolutely. Jordan's of course is always stellar. You can't miss Jordan's. Jordan's fibers for survivle amazing, right, yep. Yeah, I agree. The price of admission the classes alone, not to mention the vendors. You know, I hear mirror safety is gonna be there. They wanted a booth. Oh cool, don't hold me do this because you know, anything I hear is just hearsay. Yeah, your safety the gold back guys. Thank you. Phoenix. Oh, Phoenix said that she's selling the mesh Tastic at her booth again this year. So if you go to the Mesh class and you're like oh, I want one of them. Then you go see the Phoenix. She'll have a nice, big setup and she'll be selling those mesh tastic nodes at at her location. Too cool. They get your gas masks at Mirror Safety. Yep, great gas masks, great stuff if you're. Into that top quality. Yeah. Yeah, they had the Dave Jones blessing years and years and years ago. Amen, that is true. I mean I they are fantastic. I can't recommend them highly enough. You know, if you get Army surplus, they're surplus for a reason. It's it's a life support system. Do you want to put your life in Army surplus? Just saying, just saying. I worked from here for about two years as a writer, and they put a lot of time and a lot of money into creating those masks and then testing those masks. And the other big thing about those masks is they're on the heads of yep, major militaries around the world. Around the world. That is correct, and they hold up and they stand up, and they have the NATO standard filters and you can get a variety of filters. You can get a training filter, you can get the you know, SHTF filter. Yeah, they need to just set up right next to you. Yeah, they want to make some money, right, come to my booth, buy a mad gas man. I ought to pay you. Yeah, they got to give you a little Finders fee for your class. You know. Yeah, absolutely, But yeah. It's gonna be a great year, and I have no doubts it'll be amazing. I haven't settled on whether or not I'll be in a I may actually get a room. Really, yeah, I think I'm gonna get a room. I think I might. Why not, it's the first year, you know, I've never I've never slept in a bed. Yeah, once at Prepper Camp. Isn't that crazy? Yeah, of all the years I've gone, I've never laid ahead on mattress one time for one night at Preppercamp, And it does take some of the romance out of it. But you know, we're at a new location. We might as well see what it's all about. That's the way I kind of look at it. So I might wind up getting getting a place for that weekend. That could be pretty fun. So yeah, look for your tickets, and now, look, you gotta get your tickets because the longer you wait, the more you're gonna regret. It, and it's a shorter window this year. August should be here like that, you know, yes, earlier in the month. It's not the last week like normal. It's the second week in August. So don't be one of those people on the outside. Yeah, you get to meet all of us firsthand. Everybody says, I sound taller on the radio. Oh no, I don't know what. Some crazy stuff's going on with the phoenix in the background. She's in the she's in the Instagram chat. Yeah, she just she'said, probably a good thing. I'm not on air with y'all. I'm too marguerite as deep. Then she popped back in as j D Ferg, and now she's in under another screen name. I did not kick you, J Ferg. I promise garden girl with us. How you doing all right? Instagram? Keep going all right? So prepagain, go ahead. That a lot of people are waiting till nine o'clock because you said nine o'clock on the daily audio cash. I sure did, I sure did. I got scared about the war where I got terrified about the war and said I don't want to I want to give us a chance to talk about the radio before the bombs start. Dropping. You know what I mean? But you do you want to talk about that before we go into this, because. Oops, you just buzzed me. I picked it up. I hit to push the talk button. That's cool. You know what we can do. You know what we could do. We can mute like I'll mute and then I'll call you through it and we'll show it obay the because that'd be kind of a cool test. Yeah, well, why don't we do a couple Let's do hardware and then performance, and then we'll go talk about I ran a little bit, and then we'll knock out prepper use case and overall because we may have some people. What I what I always do to the poor people who show up for what the show is about is make them wait until the very end of the show, say two sentences and then have a good night. So, so the pock Link hardware itself, Dave, you ran into some issues with yours that are probably worth talking about. With the caveat that we had, like a probably have some test units on our hands, right. Yeah. I fully believe that I got a return, a product return, because there were the first of all, the SIM card was in it, okay, which I didn't have to take the SIM card out and put it in. It was already in it. And the battery back does not latch. And I have tried everything to make this latch. It just does not do it. So I think that's probably why it got returned in the first place, and I ended up getting it. But you know, free is good, Free is good. Free is good. And if you guys get another POCKELINGK for us using the link down below, then we'll get to keep these things. Yet and look, in all honesty, nothing wrong with the product. But I do think I'll get more, and I'll get more on the Wi Fi rather than the analog, because this works on like I said, on the on the cell tower network rather than at all. Also works on analog like a you know, like a two way you have on your property, and so that that has value, right if you're on a larger property, for me, you don't thinking star link and Wi Fi. So I want those two options on mine. Yep. If you have that, you have true like satellite connection. Yeah, because it will go through here and use the Internet for your starlink and you'll bypass the towers completely. Yeah. So as far as the hardware itself is concerned. Now, yeah, I want to I want to talk about setup because what really now, I the setting up of the radio, I didn't do. You did it, and I think that's an important thing. That's an important thing to highlight, right, yes, because you weren't like racking your brain. I was like, I didn't set it up yet, and then in about three minutes you messaged me and said, all right, I set it up and here's the group. Yeah, this is sweet. And that's that is a testament because uh, I gave up on being ahead of the tech curve when Dows, when Windows took over for Dos. Okay, because I was I was actually guys in the military used to call me inspector gadget the latest. I had the latest of everything, and I was all over it, and I thought Windows was a fad that Dows. You know, I still remember the Doss commands. So I am not your I am I'm not a technophobe, but I am not tech savvy. Yeah, I am sixty nine years old and I set this up in a matter of minutes minutes with the app. Yeah, created a group and I did it all on my own. So if I if I am what's called Napoleon's corporal. Napoleon had a corporal that he would issue his orders and he would have a corporal read it, and then he would repeat back to Napoleon what he thought the orders meant, and if if the corporal got it, he would send it out to his generals, and if they did not get it, he'd say, look, I had a corporal read this and he got it perfectly. So I have been Napoleon's corporal on this and it's pretty easy. Pretty easy. Yeah, that's quite the testament. Yeah. Yeah, And like I said, I've been telling you guys this about these things from the get go. This is why I wanted to commit to the pocket radio because of that, because it's the it's the polar opposite of ham radio in many ways, but definitely in setup and hardware and all that. Literally, we put batteries in these, we downloaded the app on the phone, Dave Jones built the group out, and then I joined the group. And that's it. We're working. We're working. There is what are the hardware. It's USB C charge rechargeable, but it's got Yeah, it's definitely got a location for microphone and headphone jack typical, you know, like you would like you would see on most radios that same hookup. I don't know what that hookup's called. And you can it's pretty straightforward. Yeah. Yeah. You can have press the talk and you can also do voice activated. So if you're doing that little microphone headphone thing, uh, you can put it on voice activated. And just talk, just talk that way. Yeah. So what I'm gonna do real quick is I'm gonna mute my microphone, okay, and then I'm gonna pot you from Central Virginia to Northern Virginia on a push button. Okay, Okay. We are two hours apart. YEP, a little proof of concept on the park. I got you loud and clear. Very cool. So we not only do we conduct the tests and conversations like that over the over the whatever, however many miles apart we are, we also called each other during these terrible storms, I mean terrible yeah, like to the point where I think Dave was already out of power when I got with him. Oh that was the day you lost power like forty times. I remember in the in the back channel, You're like, we're out of ower again, We're out of ower. And then when I hung up when when I stopped relaying back and forth with him through the park, my power almost went out right after that. And just so you know, this is a line of storms running up the west side of Virginia, hitting him and hitting me at the same time. And we had going like this and yeah, yeah, and there was no issue. Yep, none issue, which so out. Yeah, so everybody understands the working like the pock performance. The way it works is it it hits the cell towers and then it automatically adjusts. In fact, you know what, our heads are blocking it in these little boxes behind as I stole from the website. I can't I don't think there's anything we can do. Oh you know, we can do. We could probably do this there you go, yuh auto network searching. So what's what's really cool about that is it's not like a Sprint line. You know, it's not like a T mobile where it's gonna go to the T mobile. O. T mobiles not work and you're screwed. The pockling will go up and will auto search. Oh, T mobile is not working. Let's see the Sprint. Let's see the AT and T. Let's see that, you know, and so on. So that's a pretty cool little feature of it. Cell towers go down all together, you don't have a pot clink radio. Yeah, if that. Go down, they're not going to be operational. But uh, you know, at what point do you get the ham radio out? You know? Right? I mean that's a good point. Yeah, yeah, I mean primary alternate. I think that I think that really is where this thing shines. Is that kind of is the alternative contingency? Yes, I really shine. And if you have the Wi Fi and if you have starlink, now you have a primary in your cell phone and altered it in your pock link and a contingency in your Wi Fi through your park, you know, and then you know, whatever you want to do for emergency smoke signals, I don't know whatever you want, you know, well, I mean if you. If you already have starlink. And I know there's a lot of preppers out there that are operating off of starlink because when I mentioned it that we were going to try and get it here, a bunch of people emailed me and said, hey, if you mentioned me, I get a free month of Starlink. And yeah, so I know there's a bunch of people out there with Starlink Right now, if you've been looking at a six hundred dollars satellite phone and paying additional. Eighty bucks a month or whatever it is servers. For minutes, this ride here could be your inexpensive alternate that gives you satellite communication. Yeah, yeah, yeah, And I think if you want my foreshadowing last I heard, and I don't know where he's at with it now or how far out it is, but it definitely seems like from what I heard that Elon is putting out a Starlink cell So for preppers, that's probably going to become primary, you know what I mean? Right, And at least it would make sense to me to have a prime to have a Starlink cell phone. Then you have your pocket link Wi Fi, then you have your you know, however you want to set it up. I do think this is a great middleman option exactly. I mean, no license, no training, no trade, you just you just buy it. You gotta buy I mean, if if you're the only one, okay, and you want to join our network by one, but I need to buy two more, same because I have Alex who is away like forty five minutes. He needs one, and then I need one for when I'm traveling. Yeah. So yeah, and I think that's uh. I think that's one of the amazing things about this guy. Also, for those of you, when I get my I think you can only buy him in two packs. I'm not. I don't know if you can buy a single. But when you get yours. What's really got me excited is this could go in my ten year old's book bag. Yep, and all I have to tell him is push the button. Yep. You know what I mean. In the worst case scenario, push the button. D there's a shooter here, you know what I mean, at whatever the situation is. And that's so valuable because imagine throwing a bow fang in your kids. You're not gonna do it, you know what I mean? Yeah, you forget that. Yeah, But this right here and the battery life seems to work a long long time. That time we were without power, I left this thing on just in case you called me, and I left it on, you know, all through that storm that weekend, and I still have three bars now. I haven't charged it since here. So from from the aspect of ease of use, there's nothing better, you know, from thinking about family preparedness right and being honest and real about family preparedness, which I think every prepper, at least ninety nine percent of preppers is a little bit of a bullshit artist in their own head when it comes to what your family's actually going to do, right. Yeah, Yeah, it's capable of doing. Right this anybody's capable of doing. You gotta senior mother, father, uncle, whatever, somebody you want to get a hold of. They're not gonna freaking jump on a ham radio in an emergency. Dude, turn this thing on, pock me you. You have a much better chance of getting me. It's one button to turn on, yep. And then then once it turns on, it tells you it connects. Then it's one button to talk. So that's it can't be any simpler. Yeah yeah, And that to me stands out. That stands out as an emergency comms option way more than well, can it talk off grid when the whole world is over and everyone's dead except me and my prepper group? You know what I mean exactly, Because when you're gonna use this thing is when everybody's gonna use it, right, Yeah, the powers out there's a bad storm there's an earthquake, there's a you know, something like that. So and for those of you who are members or want to be members, get the pock link radio if you want to join the Emergency Comms Group. Okay, we're gonna test it on continuity nights, so monthly we're gonna test, all right, whoever's there, we're gonna run tests and make sure we can talk in the PBN group. We have one member in the PBN group currently. Did I get you in the PBI group? Dave? I know I made it, but I don't know if I sent you the link. You sent me the little scanner thing. I haven't. I haven't put it on there yet. But yeah, it's no big we didn't test yet anyway. So yeah, it's as simple as getting that little link and then, like I said, we'll do our monthly tests and ideally that'll give us the ability to say, oh, God, like the two weeks on the ceasefire expired and Trump is bombing all of Iran and Russia just flew some drones at an aircraft carrier, let's get on and talk about what's going on, or more importantly, probably domestic, right, domestic stuff. Yeah, like there's a rash of violence domestically around the country. We want to talk about what you're seeing in Idaho, what I'm seeing in you know, Central Virginia, with Dave's dealing with and all the above. So that. Talk about the app for a second, because there's an app that goes along with this. Yeah. Yeah, and that. Gives you an added capability because you can listen on the app. Yeah, So if you want to monitor communications, you can monitor it on a cell phone on the app because in that group, you hear all the conversation back and forth on the app. Now what I don't remember, Dave, and it's because I was rushing. Probably did you need to do anything when we downloaded the app to verify that you had a radio? I don't think you do, right, So that's great news. So if you don't want to spend the money on a pock Link, but you want to be part of that group, then you can just get the app. Yeah, open my pocklink app isn't open. Yeah, my battery came out, so I had to restart my radio. They don't all operate that way, don't worry. Yeah, yeah, but that's a good call. That's a good call because you have that sort of backup to the backup, or you have an opportunity just to hear what people are talking about from the emergency comms group through the app. Well, yeah, and that you know, immediately, what I thought of was the perimeter. If someone wants to monitor, you give them the cell phone and you can walk the and everybody talks and they're just they're just listening to what's going on. I mean, it's it's an added benefit of a feature. Yeah, now that's a good point. That's what we were on. We were on the fence about using a Wi Fi compatible Redivis radio that had a connection to the zell app, and I totally forgot that Pocklink has its own app. Yeah, we'll have to test the might of that app and see what we can do in there as a group. So maybe we'll do that. Maybe we'll test on the continuity nights with a little audio and then maybe through the app as well. Just so that everybody's got something. That's really what I want. I want everybody who's a part of that emergency comms group to walk away and say, I know I can push this button and you know, in crazy times and there'll be somebody on the other end, yeah, you know, and and then we'll maybe be able to gather in for me, because because even if the thing about getting a pockland group across the nation means that if the East Coast has been decimated or something like that, you'll still have cell towers likely that work in central and western parts of the state, you know. Yeah, so and everybody can compare notes and say, yeah, I haven't been able to raise anybody on the East coast. You know, we're all talking, but that's out. Yeah. So that's our big that's our big sort of prepper use case for it all is Yeah, it's a combination of functionality and you know, actuality, like are you actually going to use this device? Because I don't know about UPBM family. I got radios that are sitting in EMP proof dry bags right now that I don't ever use, you know what I mean. I got one charging over here. Yeah, I got one charging over here that I only turn on for the weather, you know what I mean. And it's just I know the feeling. But and what I know about this thing is it's so easy that you'll use it. It's so easy that anybody can use it and that you will use it, and that's the key. So yeah, overall, I think it serves a great purpose for preppers and we're gonna, we're gonna commit to it. So this is this is the radio that we're gonna use for our emergency comms group. So check them out. Like I said, use the link down below pocklink dot com slash Prepper Broadcasting, not PBM Prepper Broadcasting, and uh yeah, consider getting one yourself. You'd be a part of the emer comms crew. So I guess you know, we could talk. We can talk sort of why I was losing my mind earlier today. I completely lost my mind today, guys. Yeah, I was taken. I was completely and fully super surprised and overwhelmed by the President of the United States saying We're gonna end the civilization tonight. And I was trying to think back to when the campaign was up and rolling of all the things that Donald Trump said, I could never remember him saying, and we will also end civilizations while we're at it, and me going, that's what I've been waiting to hear. Drain the swamp and then the Middle Eastern civilization. Yeah, the Persian civilization yeah, well, you know, and that that also let everybody go nuts because they thought, oh, He's gonna nuke him. You know, that was weird. I never thought that. Yeah, where where did they get that that? I don't know. Yeah, that came up and I was like, wow, that was an angle that that never went through my head. I guess because I know the military can do plenty of damage without a nuke, you know what I mean. But it just that never popped into my head. And then yeah, it took over the whole The whole conversation was all of a sudden, Trump's gonna nuke the Middle East. Well not only that, too many of the news agencies only read the first two lines of the tweet. They didn't they didn't read the whole thing. Yeah, you understand. Because in the end he comes around to. Let's make a deal, right, yeah, yeah, we want to make a deal. That the leadership has changed, maybe there's a chance that kind of thing. Yeah, you know, I guess it was sound and fury to try to make something happen. I don't know, though, it was really weird. It was really it really put me in a weird place mentally. Man. I even wound up I even wound up yelling at Sarah what's her name not Sarah Hathaway, Sarah's. Oh yeah, the c I a girl. Yeah. I even went on her ex got angry at her because she was talking about she what was she talking about? It was something she was trying to like so many people did. And this what kind of made me nervous about it is that there were so many people like trying to justify it on the right. And that's what made me creeped out. Like there wasn't a lot of people that were like whoa, whoa, whoa what you know what I mean. There was a lot of people who were like, look, man, this is just what has to happen, you know what I mean. And that freaked me out. I was like, what do you mean, yeah to happen? Okay. Maria also has a lot of friends, you know, everywhere in the Middle East, and they all seem to be democrats. I don't know why. Wow, Well, at least they put their money where their mouth is, I'll give them that. So they were talking about joining hands around the bridge or you know, a power plant and stuff like that, and I'm like, okay, don't don't drop the bomb when they're there. Wait, they can't sit there for ever and hold their hands. Do you understand this? Oh yeah yeah. And she's like, oh, you're just supporting him. I'm not supporting him. I'm just saying but you know, years ago, you gotta really think back and maybe you can google the clip. But Trump was really upset with North Korea and he said, he said, they're threatening us and there's going to be fire. I don't know if he said fire and fury or fire in something like they've never seen before if they don't stop, so he comes out of the gate. You know, it's like Teddy Roosevelt used to say, talk softly, but carry a big stick. Okay, so Trump Trump talks loudly and he has a big stick. Yeah. That looks right after he said that, I mean, shortly after he goes to North Korea, he meets with Kim and amazingly, not much has happened since then. Yeah, that's a good point. They have been pretty quiet. Yeah, and that's rare for them. Yeah, right, it's kind of rare. So this is what Sarah Adams said that got me mad. Okay, she said, let's get something straight. The civilization he's talking about ending is the Islamist regime. Oh, these assholes that took over forty seven years ago literally ruined the original Persian civilization and Iran YadA, YadA, YadA, And I don't know why, it just you know, just I was like, you know, you can't you can't pick and choose when you start shutting off power and water. You don't get to say this one dies from you know, dehydration, this one dies from you know, sepsis, and the other one's dull. Yeah. So I just felt like that was another another bit of that BS that was going around that was like, but about. An hour before we came on, uh, there was a deal struck. Yeah, Pakistan for two weeks. So I guess it's a stand down on all sides. Israel will blow some ship up. I think my prediction, that's my prediction, is that this cease fire will end because Israel will blow something up. If I had to guess, if I had to get that was there. They did that a lot during the Palestine thing. Yeah, but I think this what's gonna help is Oh I hope not too, but I think someone's gonna fire something from Lebanon that could happen to Israel, and then Israel's going to retaliate. I think they're gonna there's too many nutcases out there that are armed and dangerous that that's gonna blow this up. Yeah. I say, get the deal done and get the hell out and tell them we'll be back rapidly if things devolve, you know what I mean, Because I mean it's only going to cast. They only have so much money. They're not the United States. They build up a whole nother military, shitty navy, whatever they had before. We got their air force again, and we show up and blast it all because we've clearly shown the superiority that you know, they had. That was the best that they're ever going to have, right because they've had how many years to sort of dial it in exactly now? They'll never have that much time. What's Dan talking about anything important? I don't like to hear from Dan and times like these. Oh that was Larry Okay. Yeah, So that's one of those things, right that we've probably seen the best they'll ever have because they're never gonna have palettes of cash from Biden and Obama and they're never going to have that kind of time to build up the military that they once had, So it makes sense to me to start pulling aircraft carriers out of their strategically. But I guess, I guess the big issue is the fact that everybody wants the straight of hor Moves to work, but nobody wants to do anything to make it work except the United States. Yeah, right, that's I mean, that's a big issue. How about this. How about as part of the deal, we put the Marines on kirk Island and we become the toll keeper of the straight of her Moose, you know, the we become the you know, the police bridge troll, the bridge troll. Yeah, yeah, I don't know. I know one thing, if I were in Trump's position, one thing, I would say, who's on the other side. It's uh, it's Iran like this. And then there's U A U A. I would say, we're gonna take a little they got a little thumb that sticks in there, and we're cutting that shit off, okay, And that straight it's getting way wider. That baby is getting way wider. That because that makes sense to me, you know. And I think about the James River. I think about how the Jay out in during the Civil War, they dug the canal systems through the James River, and I'm thinking that's what you got to do. You got to do that on a much larger scale and make that thing wide so that they got problems, you know what I mean. So it's much harder, harder to sea boats and the tack boats and all that kind of stuff. But yeah, I mean, we really, I mean we really have been done absolutely terribly by Europe during this thing. Actually, what what has happened to Europe is probably more resounding than what has happened to Iran because they really scre France wouldn't even let us. I think it was France. I'm pretty sure Trump said France wouldn't even let us land planes in there are the basis. Yeah, Well, and then some of the countries wouldn't allow us to use our own bases that we've had there for years. That was Portugal, yeah, or anything like. Okay, then you know, let's pull out a NATO. Let that be a europe thing. Let's for us. Exactly what's to do for us? If we can't show up when we want and land on our bases without a headache, why would dump millions upon millions into it? Every year. And if you know for a fact that when when you decide, hey, we're going to do something, the rest of the NATO countries are gonna go. We're not, even though it's their oil, right and and there it's closer to them than us by a long shot. Yeah, because they're happy to take the money and the weapons for Ukraine. They're always happy to receipt. Oh yeah, yeah, okay, pilot on. It's really bad news for them. And live under our umbrella since World War Two. Now our navy taking care of theirs. Yeah. The world is where it is today because of the United States of America. Yeah, largely lay affected. Yep. We protected free trade. We got everybody's economy up and running. Globalization, globalization. Europe was bombed to shit yea in World War two, and and we got them up and running the Marshall Plan. We've fixed everything on the planet and it's been running well. There's a couple isolated not out there, and and Trump's taking care of them. So you know, what I think is the most scary thing about Europe though, is we almost have to leave anyway, because I think so many countries are destined for civil war against the Muslims, like that's gonna be their priority One's there's no way they're going to be able to be England with things going the way that they're going. There's no way they're gonna be France with things going. I'm talking like five years forward. If you were to look at threats right and you were to say, like, where's Russia fall, where's China fall? You know what I mean? These like these boogeymen that they never really deal with, and then you start thinking like where's radical Islam fall? Like that's your number one threat right now? Those countries are either going to be They're either gonna be in bloody civil war or they're governments are going to be taken over by radical Islamists. And at which point that in America is going to have to say, you're gonna have to give up them nukes. You're just saying, I ran now, you know what I mean, You got to give them nukes up because we can't have the Muslim brotherhood as president. Yeah. Well, the number one name for a newborn male in England was Mohammad. Yeah, that's bad news. And the number two name was Mohammad with a different spelling. So It's like, where are the English people. Where the Matthew is at? What's going on? Yeah, that's it's bad news. Man. They got problems, They got serious problems. So it almost feels like, you know, you don't want to get drug into that as an like if NATA were to call upon the United States military and say, hey, we need you to come to our nation and fight our civil war. You're a NATO partner, like we're under attack. You don't want to see American soldiers going house to house in London or building the building in London fighting jihadis no no, So I say, you know, you gotta get out of there. That's they They gotta fight for their countries. Man, it sucks for them. But because we've got our own problems, we're not in the clear here either, you know what I mean. We gotta fight our judicial system, we gotta fight radical Islamists, we gotta fight drug cartels. Like we gotta get funding for DHS. That would help, that would help get some get this organization paid. I can't believe. I cannot believe this, Dave Tsa, this is how worthless Iran must be. Tsa was down and out and nobody snuck anything onto an airplane. Nobody blew up an airplane. Nobody hides acting airplane. Nobody crashed an airplane. Actually we crashed our own airplane into a bus or something. What did we hit. Fire truck? I couldn't believe it. Every day that I would see that news, I would say, it's only a matter of time. We're gonna fly one into a building in La you know, they're gonna sneak something on there, and that's gonna be that. I mean, we're at war, I'll tell you what. Though, maybe the FBI and the DHS really are just doing a good job. They're jack Bauer behind then they're bringing them down. It's gotta be one of the two, right, It's gotta be either they're doing their job and they're finding these cells, these terrorist cells, and they're just dismantling them, or they never existed. It was all just a big threat to scare the Americans and a deterrent to keep us from going over there. Or there's the or there's the Commander Burger King theory, and that is the American life's too damn good. Yeah right, you come over here and you're like, yeah, man, we're gonna get him. And then we started McDonald's. And you're like, we found the what was it the niece of Solomoni was it? I don't know. I think it was the niece or their granddaughter. I don't know. But she was in Los Angeles, living large, and she had a green card. I'm like, how do you give how do you get a green card? How do you get a green card? Exactly? So Rubio there was a green card. Now now he he let everybody know, Hey, I'm gonna pull a green card. You can deport this person. And there was another one that was a professor, and they were they were living life large too, making bookou money here in the United States, a guest lecturer at a at a you know, university. Yeah, exactly, Like great, come on in, don't even fill out an. Applicating why capitalism in the United States is terrible, and getting paid big bucks to come you. Know, yeah, living in the capitalist dream in America to tell you how big capitalism in America is exactly beautiful. Yeah, yeah, I mean that could be it. Though you fall in love and you you live the life here of luxury in America. You come from Iran, I mean, I don't know what life's I've never been. I'm sure it's not great. And you just think I'm not going to blow myself up for these people. Not great anymore? Yeah, yeah, right, that's like I'm in the our Rashid Hotel, the one that was shot and that lieutenant colonel it was shot with an RPG and that lieutenant colonel died. Okay, so I'm I'm on the top floor and there's a disco on the top floor, and imagine a disco, and it was decked out just like it was like in the nineteen seventies and eighties when Saddam came in. He shut all that shit down, and and now that we went in, it opened back up and then it was happening. But it was like a flashback. You're like walking into a time machine. Exactly. Wow, Yeah, it's crazy. It's crazy, man, what the Middle East could be could be? You know what I mean, exactly exactly what I was talking to a Libyan friend of mine who just came back from Saudi Arabia said it was unbelievable. So the food was out of this world the whole time he was there, was just tremendous. Yeah, and I said, you just got back. Were you there for all this shit that's going on, And he said, yeah, yeah, we got lucky. We got there and they shut some flights down and then when right when we were about to leave, they opened things up and we got out nice. But yeah, he's it's just he was just going over how great it is, you know. And and these guys are great. They're like intel for me, man, because they're one hundred percent honest. They tell me everything about the whole situation over there. They they're so honest in fact that they said, he said, don't go to Europe. You'd be better off to go to Saudi Arabia if you wanted to travel. He said, if you go to Europe, there's too many Libyans there. Now, this a Libyan guy though, there's too many Olybyans there. Now it's a mess. But yeah, so imagine what it could be if Trump gets his way turns Palestine into the Riviera I. Was in exactly because they got the weather. They got the I was in the Gulf of Akaba, and I go out, that's that's in the southern part of Jordan, and it's like the Red Seas over here, and the Gulf of Akaba's over here, and it's it's beautiful. It's beautiful. I scuba dived there. But you I took a picture. You can see the country of Jordan, Israel, and Egypt. Wow. And they're all sharing the same water. They all have ports and ships are coming in. Wow. And they're they're like, Okay, we know this has to happen or the trade is going to be shut down. Yeah. Yeah. And they're all living together because it's their mutual benefit. Yeah yeah, I mean really that is the only thing that probably would solve it. Over there is prosperity. Well you look like at a place like the UAE or yeah, where money makes problems. Money makes problems, but it also makes problems go away, you know. I mean prosperity happy people. You know. I think people who are making it and can you know, afford a certain amount of things for their family much less likely to strap a bomb vest on and say let's go do the work of Allah exactly. At least that's what it looks like to me. I don't know, you know, Yeah, well Pbim family, yep, is it time. I think we've given o pak one two, We've givet you a little talk on the on the Middle East. In that situation, we got two weeks to catch our breath. Hopefully we can cease fire for real for a change. I mean, it's been a long time since I've seen a ceasefire work in the in the world. Ukraine and Russia can't figure that that collection of words out for shit, they see fire, they start firing more. I don't know what's got that. But it's been very quiet over there though, right Yeah, I just I don't know what. Well. I think Trump is preoccupied right now. And remember he was trying to get Zelenski and Putin to agree to stuff, and now he's got his own thing going on. So yeah, I think that kind of took the back burner. But you said today on your daily audio Cash, you gotta unplug PBN. Family. If you want to unplug, all you have to do is put PBN on, because we're watching it in the back channel. Anyways. Oh yeah, yeah, we'll tell you what's going on. If it's big, you know, you won't be left in the dark. You will not more than one of us will hop on and be like they dropped a nuke on Iran, which will never happen. But the shit's going down tonight. Yeah exactly, Well that's you know, that's why I got so worked up, because that's what I saw. I look at things through like this is gonna like first, second, third, fourth order of effects is what happens in my head right off the bat, I'm like, what, okay, you go blow up all this shit? What's that mean for everybody else? What's that mean six months from now? What's that meaning for Russia? North Korea, China? What are they gonna be like? Oh, well, if you did that, I'll do this. You know what I mean that kind of mentality, because I know that's how those people think. But yeah, it's a big, crazy world out there. PBN family, do unplug. Yeah. I figured they would come to some kind of an agreement. I didn't know what happened this way, but I figured, you know, after everything that happened, they were not gonna not Now whether they're lying or not, I don't know. If they're lying, I won't be surprised, but I would not be surprised. Like I said, you gotta you gotta be real about what you're dealing with in Iran, you know what I mean. It's not like you're gonna turn around tomorrow and you're gonna have some guy with the iPhone running the country who looks like Zoron Mom, Donnie, you know what I mean. It's not gonna happen that guy. Wow, wee, that's a whole nother show. We probably should do a Zoran Night one time, just to just to just to kick communism in the nuts as hard as possible, because there's no greater communist failure than that guy. Did you hear that? He he wants to enact a fifty percent inherdance tax. Whenever a sentence starts with he wants to enact, I immediately start My dad tells me about it too all the time. I immediately start laughing because I just know it's gonna be insane. Yeah, but yeah, that makes perfect sense. Fifty percent inheritance tax. If you try anywhere, don't die in New York. City, whatever you do, don't buy anything there, don't die there. Yeah, you know, you buy something there. It's fifty percent the states, right off the bat, anyway. Fifty crazy. He's he's really done it. I don't know if anybody's done it quite like he's done it. He's really set communism back in New York. Bernie Sanders, I ain't heard from him in a while, so he must be he must know it's done. Yeah, yeah, hey, good, nothing but good things by the end of the day. Started out crazy, but nothing but good things to report at the end of the day. So we gotta be happy about that. Yep, all right, PBN family. Dave Jones, thanks so much for coming on, man. I always appreciate a night with Dave one hour, one hour, six minutes to hang with Dave Jones, You guys have no idea what an opportunity that is, because it's always a good take. And we'll talk to you soon, folks. What is tomorrow? Wednesday? Oh, Surviving America. I'll be on. I don't know what the hell I'm gonna talk about. God only knows, but I'll see you guys tomorrow.
