[00:00:37] The NBC Guy is in the house. What is up, Dave Jones? How's it going this evening?
[00:00:44] Oh, I'm doing great, James. How are you?
[00:00:47] Good as can be for 8pm on a Monday. It's been a long day. I'm sure you've had a long day too.
[00:00:53] Yeah, on Mondays, what they do is they put every class on Monday.
[00:01:00] So we have 45 minutes and we do 9 classes.
[00:01:05] Oh, okay. I follow you.
[00:01:07] Yeah, that way if we have a Monday holiday, you only miss out one.
[00:01:12] Oh, that's a good call. Yeah, a lot of days off on the Monday.
[00:01:17] Yeah. Man, holidays here. What do you guys do on Thanksgiving?
[00:01:22] You do the whole Thanksgiving thing up there on the mountain?
[00:01:24] Oh yeah. Yeah, Maria.
[00:01:28] Well, usually I butcher my own turkey, but this year we didn't get turkeys.
[00:01:35] We have some from last year, but I think Maria is saving them.
[00:01:39] We're kind of down on food right now that we've actually butchered.
[00:01:45] Oh, I got you. It seems like you were just butchering like a few months ago.
[00:01:49] You've been tearing through the chickens?
[00:01:51] No, it's only a few and she just wanted to get the ones that weren't laying.
[00:01:57] Yeah, of course.
[00:01:59] Yeah. And what do we have left?
[00:02:01] We have probably about a freezer or so left of our stuff.
[00:02:06] Your stuff.
[00:02:07] Yeah.
[00:02:08] Yeah.
[00:02:09] And we're looking at getting a pig from the Amish guy that we found before we found the Amish butcher.
[00:02:17] Yeah.
[00:02:18] All he does is take the pig and sawzalls it in half.
[00:02:23] Like the one guy we went to, right?
[00:02:25] Exactly.
[00:02:27] And then you got to do the rest.
[00:02:29] So that's my style.
[00:02:31] Yeah, I always do that.
[00:02:33] It's good practice, man.
[00:02:35] It's the only way to get it.
[00:02:36] Literally the only way to get it.
[00:02:37] I mean, unless you can go to like a butcher class, but I don't even know if a butcher class would give you a half a hog with hair on it.
[00:02:44] Right.
[00:02:45] You know, like that's a task, man.
[00:02:47] Yeah.
[00:02:48] But you get all the goodies that way.
[00:02:50] I mean, they get all the goodies that way.
[00:02:52] Yeah.
[00:02:53] Yeah.
[00:02:53] And the dogs love the hooves.
[00:02:57] Oh, my dogs go crazy.
[00:02:58] We, we, we give them the ears and, you know, all the, all the parts that we're not going to eat.
[00:03:04] And if I left it up to Maria, we'd be eating everything but the oink.
[00:03:10] Well, I'll tell you what those ears and those pigtails are not bad if you know how to cook them up.
[00:03:15] Well.
[00:03:16] Yeah.
[00:03:16] The ears, the ears are actually really good.
[00:03:19] You slow cook them right in broth or water, even if you don't have broth and they get like gelatinous.
[00:03:28] Yeah.
[00:03:28] But there is like this, just like our ear, there's like this thin cartilage in it.
[00:03:32] Right.
[00:03:32] So what you do is you cut the ear like real thin, like it's called a chiffonade when you do it to herbs.
[00:03:40] And then you take that and you re-fry it.
[00:03:43] Wow.
[00:03:44] And they become like a, I don't know, it'd be like kind of like a snack.
[00:03:48] I always would eat it on like a, like a frisee salad.
[00:03:52] You know what frisee is?
[00:03:53] It's like this bitter green that's got a bunch of spiky looking things coming off it.
[00:03:58] But it's good.
[00:03:59] It's fries up.
[00:04:00] It gets crispy.
[00:04:01] It's a little, little bit crunchy, you know, that with that ear cartilage, but good.
[00:04:07] Yeah.
[00:04:08] They're worth it.
[00:04:09] They're worth it.
[00:04:10] But you're right.
[00:04:11] The dogs probably appreciate it better more.
[00:04:13] Well, I, you know, I got to draw the line somewhere and she wanted to make soup out of chicken feet.
[00:04:20] Oh, because they do that in Romania.
[00:04:22] Oh, they do that in Romania.
[00:04:24] I didn't know.
[00:04:24] Oh yeah.
[00:04:25] Yeah.
[00:04:25] Whenever I see chicken feet, I always think of our, like our, our Asian family.
[00:04:30] You know what I mean?
[00:04:31] Oh, yeah.
[00:04:32] Because the first time I've ever, I ever saw a pack of chicken feet was at the, on Washington
[00:04:38] Avenue at a Chinese food market in Philadelphia.
[00:04:42] Gosh, I think, I think I know right where you meet.
[00:04:45] That you probably do.
[00:04:47] If you've been to Washington Avenue, it's like a, it's like a place.
[00:04:51] Southeast Asia.
[00:04:51] I wonder what it's like today.
[00:04:53] Have you been there lately?
[00:04:54] Lately?
[00:04:55] No, I keep threatening though, because my kids are just addicted to foe.
[00:05:00] So that's where we in college, we go to eat bowls of phone and go to the shop next door
[00:05:05] and buy cleavers and all that kind of stuff.
[00:05:08] And, uh, I've been threatening to go down there, but it's been a good, I mean, it's probably
[00:05:12] been 15 years.
[00:05:15] I've been staying out of Philly, man.
[00:05:17] I didn't want to take my kids in there.
[00:05:18] I didn't feel safe.
[00:05:19] I didn't feel like it was good.
[00:05:20] My sister would tell me the same thing, you know, and my sister, she's closer than me.
[00:05:25] So she knows, you know, you know how it is.
[00:05:27] You know what the real deal is when you live close to the place.
[00:05:30] But I have a feeling law and order could be on the rise here within the next four years.
[00:05:35] I have that feeling too.
[00:05:37] So we might head back there.
[00:05:39] My son, my oldest is dying to get to an Eagles game.
[00:05:42] He wants to get to a Philly Eagles game so bad.
[00:05:45] Well, there used to be some comic shops down there.
[00:05:49] Comic?
[00:05:50] Like the funny book, uh, is it called the-
[00:05:52] Yeah, on Washington Avenue.
[00:05:53] There was a huge comic store and I swear that's where they got the-
[00:05:58] Oh, oh, oh, oh, the comic book stores.
[00:06:00] Yeah.
[00:06:00] Yeah.
[00:06:02] I would go to Broad Street.
[00:06:05] Broad, no, South Street.
[00:06:06] I'm sorry, South Street.
[00:06:09] I'd go down to South Street.
[00:06:10] Oh, go ahead.
[00:06:11] He froze up for a second.
[00:06:13] Okay.
[00:06:14] Oh, he froze up for a second.
[00:06:16] Am I, okay, I'm good.
[00:06:17] Yeah, we'd go to South Street for comics.
[00:06:20] South Street was the place, man.
[00:06:22] Yeah.
[00:06:22] South Street was so cool.
[00:06:23] You know what they had at South Street?
[00:06:24] Dave, you would have loved it, man.
[00:06:25] You would have loved it.
[00:06:26] I sought this thing out when I was a little kid and found it and my dad took me to it.
[00:06:31] It was called Hocus Pocus.
[00:06:34] Yeah.
[00:06:34] And it was a magic shop.
[00:06:37] Yep.
[00:06:37] And it was so sweet.
[00:06:38] It was-
[00:06:39] And it was so legit.
[00:06:40] Like you walked in there and they had a display case with all the tricks.
[00:06:44] And if you saw a trick and you're like, how does that work?
[00:06:47] Like the guy behind the counter was like, looked like, well, who's the one in Penn and Teller
[00:06:52] with the hair, the long hair ponytail?
[00:06:55] Oh, yeah.
[00:06:56] That guy, Penn or Teller.
[00:06:58] I don't know which one, but-
[00:06:59] I think it's Teller.
[00:07:00] Yeah.
[00:07:00] He looked like the guy with the ponytail and he'd pull the trick out and he'd whip it up
[00:07:05] and show you how to do it.
[00:07:06] Or he would show you it.
[00:07:08] He wouldn't show you how to do it.
[00:07:09] And you'd be like, whoa, man, I need that one.
[00:07:11] I want that one.
[00:07:13] Yeah.
[00:07:13] It was awesome.
[00:07:14] Awesome.
[00:07:15] And then not too long ago, like five years ago or so, there was like a big shooting on South Street.
[00:07:20] And I remember kind of like scratching that off the list of places to go.
[00:07:25] Yeah.
[00:07:26] I was like, well, give that a little bit of time to work itself out.
[00:07:29] Yeah.
[00:07:30] But it was fun.
[00:07:30] It was a good part of that.
[00:07:32] Well, that was where all the people with, you know, that originated with purple hair.
[00:07:37] I mean-
[00:07:37] South Street?
[00:07:38] Yeah.
[00:07:39] Yeah.
[00:07:39] Yeah, you're right.
[00:07:40] That's true.
[00:07:41] Yeah, that is true.
[00:07:42] Yeah, because they had the gigantic- I think it was the wall.
[00:07:47] I think the wall is what it was down there.
[00:07:50] Music store.
[00:07:51] Yeah.
[00:07:52] A massive music store down there.
[00:07:54] And then they also had a massive- Oh, this place, Dave Jones.
[00:07:58] It's so silly the things that you would kill for when you were a kid.
[00:08:02] But they had a place that was nothing but posters.
[00:08:05] Wow.
[00:08:06] It was just posters.
[00:08:07] Books.
[00:08:08] Big-ass books that you like opened.
[00:08:10] Posters, you know?
[00:08:12] Wow.
[00:08:12] And I'd go find all the bands that I liked there, posters.
[00:08:15] And it was like, I gotta get to the poster store.
[00:08:19] Yeah, it's funny.
[00:08:21] I look back now, like what?
[00:08:22] What?
[00:08:23] Wow.
[00:08:23] It's just crazy.
[00:08:25] The things that you're into when you're into them, you know?
[00:08:28] Yeah.
[00:08:30] So, that was nice.
[00:08:32] That was a way nicer conversation than the one we're about to have.
[00:08:35] Well, yeah.
[00:08:38] Yeah.
[00:08:39] So, I don't know if you're following Ukraine, but Putin activated an agreement that he made
[00:08:48] with North Korea.
[00:08:51] Oh.
[00:08:52] Because Ukraine went into Russia.
[00:08:56] Yeah, it cursed.
[00:08:57] And attacked Russia.
[00:08:58] Yeah.
[00:08:58] Right.
[00:08:58] So, that activated disagreement that they have that if anybody attacks, you'll come to the aid.
[00:09:06] Oh, it's like they're discount NATO.
[00:09:11] Yeah.
[00:09:11] Yeah, exactly.
[00:09:12] I gotcha.
[00:09:13] So, that's why they sent the Koreans, the North Koreans over there.
[00:09:18] And that helped Russia because they didn't have to redeploy troops from the Danboss region.
[00:09:27] Oh.
[00:09:28] Yeah.
[00:09:28] Is that why they're amassing the 50K or whatever I keep reading about on the front line?
[00:09:33] Yeah.
[00:09:35] Okay.
[00:09:36] And about 10,000 to 15,000 of that 50K are North Koreans.
[00:09:42] Wow.
[00:09:43] Yeah.
[00:09:44] I heard just, I didn't check the source, but I heard like they were shelled pretty bad and
[00:09:50] they were shooting each other.
[00:09:51] Yeah.
[00:09:52] I heard about the North Koreans as sort of like a baseline understanding of competency
[00:09:57] over there, which, you know, I'm sure they're military probably really bad.
[00:10:01] If Russia is crazy as it looked in the early stages, I'm sure they got issues.
[00:10:06] Yeah.
[00:10:07] Well, and the Russian troops have been at this for, you know, two years.
[00:10:12] Oh, yes.
[00:10:12] They're battling.
[00:10:13] So, they're training up the North Koreans.
[00:10:16] The North Koreans are the rookies and they're training them up.
[00:10:20] So, they're getting like on the job training while they're getting shot at.
[00:10:26] So, while the drones are coming in.
[00:10:29] Yeah.
[00:10:29] Oh, shit.
[00:10:30] I seen a video of a Russian guy with a shotgun sitting in the back of a pickup truck and it
[00:10:35] was like his POV and the guys driving in the back with the truck thing open yelling
[00:10:40] and there's a drone chasing the truck.
[00:10:43] Wow.
[00:10:44] And it winds up blowing up right behind the truck and it gets shrapneled.
[00:10:48] Wow.
[00:10:49] I'm okay.
[00:10:49] I'm okay.
[00:10:51] It was wild.
[00:10:52] I was like, oh my, this is what actually happening on planet Earth right now.
[00:10:56] Guys running away from drones and pickup trucks.
[00:10:59] Yeah.
[00:11:00] I got, oh, I don't have the book here, Dave.
[00:11:02] I got to get you.
[00:11:02] Maybe I'll give you this book for Christmas.
[00:11:06] This SHTF drone it's called or something like that.
[00:11:09] I don't know exactly what it's called.
[00:11:10] But it's, it's sort of a reduced version of this other book called the poor man's air force.
[00:11:18] Oh, it's really sweet.
[00:11:19] I know you, we were into the drones earlier, like a year ago or something.
[00:11:23] You were talking about them a lot.
[00:11:25] Yeah.
[00:11:25] I tried to get the guy on, but he wasn't, he was in bad shape health wise.
[00:11:29] He couldn't come on.
[00:11:30] Oh, he's doing better.
[00:11:31] I'll have to send him an email with the guy who wrote it.
[00:11:33] It's, it's a cool book.
[00:11:35] Yeah.
[00:11:35] It's well thought out, you know, how to create like a, not just have a drone, you know what
[00:11:40] I mean?
[00:11:40] But like a lot of drones and how to use them really cool.
[00:11:45] Cause that's the thing, man.
[00:11:47] Yeah, that is cool.
[00:11:48] Hey, someone you got to get on is a refuge medical.
[00:11:53] Oh, I can definitely get them.
[00:11:55] Because I, I just, didn't you share a post or something?
[00:11:58] Something popped up.
[00:12:00] It might've been shield bear of faith.
[00:12:03] Yeah.
[00:12:03] Could be.
[00:12:04] Shield bear of faith is a separate guy.
[00:12:07] He, I think he worked with refuge for a little while.
[00:12:10] Was it the one where he had like a whole group of people doing like tack med stuff?
[00:12:16] They were like putting tourniquets on and then they were doing pushups in the water.
[00:12:21] Well, I saw this one where there was a kit and I can't remember what the kit was called,
[00:12:27] but it had a specific name.
[00:12:30] Oh, okay.
[00:12:31] And it would, this kit was gonna take you from anywhere from gunshot wound all the way
[00:12:37] down to like, he called it a boo-boo.
[00:12:41] Oh, okay.
[00:12:42] It could have been the bear fact.
[00:12:43] Was it the bear fact?
[00:12:44] That's a, that's refuge medical kit.
[00:12:47] That's their eye fact.
[00:12:48] Yeah.
[00:12:49] And it's, I mean, they got good stuff in it.
[00:12:51] It's, it's got the best stuff in it.
[00:12:52] It's, it's expensive, but it's got the best stuff in it.
[00:12:56] Yeah.
[00:12:57] But yeah, those guys.
[00:12:59] Get them, give them a call, get them on and add them to your Christmas catalog.
[00:13:03] Well, they were in last year's.
[00:13:05] Oh, was it?
[00:13:06] Yeah.
[00:13:06] Yeah.
[00:13:07] Yeah.
[00:13:07] We are, we have a good relationship with refuge.
[00:13:10] They, um, I always reach out to them during, cause they're my sort of liaison to grindstone.
[00:13:16] The guy over there.
[00:13:18] Yeah.
[00:13:19] Yeah.
[00:13:20] I talked to them about, I know I never did talk to them about in the back of my mind.
[00:13:23] I wanted to talk to them about creating like a, uh, maybe like a first aid coffee or something like that.
[00:13:30] I don't know what, but I feel like they need their own coffee too.
[00:13:34] Yeah.
[00:13:34] From disaster.
[00:13:36] Yeah.
[00:13:36] So the Koreans are getting into the fray.
[00:13:39] What I talked about this morning was, um, Putin coming out and saying, you know, really cool that you guys are going to allow Ukraine to shoot missiles into Russia.
[00:13:50] Um, but we're going to look at that as basically an attack from NATO and act accordingly and possibly nuclear Lee.
[00:14:02] And that got my hackles up.
[00:14:04] Yeah.
[00:14:06] Well, he has said this before.
[00:14:08] Yeah.
[00:14:09] Well, that's a good point.
[00:14:10] That's a good point.
[00:14:11] But he's done some red lines.
[00:14:13] Yeah.
[00:14:14] If, uh, you know, if you want a reason and, and maybe he's ready now.
[00:14:19] Maybe he's shured up enough, you know, support, uh, to attack, you know, Poland or Romania.
[00:14:27] Yeah.
[00:14:28] Because that would be his natural progression to go across, uh, Europe.
[00:14:35] Um, but I have to think that somewhere in the back channel, someone from the Trump administration is saying, woo, woo, woo, woo, woo.
[00:14:47] Well, yeah, it's, it's such a weird move for Biden to come out and do this right now.
[00:14:51] Right.
[00:14:52] We don't.
[00:14:53] Why?
[00:14:53] What's the, what other than let's start a war.
[00:14:56] So Trump can't get in, which is my hypothesis, you know, let's start a wider war.
[00:15:02] Why do it?
[00:15:03] You know, why come out right now before the holidays too, right?
[00:15:06] Like Americans don't have enough to worry about.
[00:15:09] Yeah.
[00:15:10] I don't get it.
[00:15:11] It seems like, like atrocious timing.
[00:15:14] And then something else happened.
[00:15:16] Well.
[00:15:16] Go ahead.
[00:15:17] And I'll tell you the second part of the story that's terrifying.
[00:15:20] No, the last time Trump took office, this time period is when they, they dreamt up the Russian collusion thing to get him impeached.
[00:15:31] That is true.
[00:15:31] But this time they don't have the house or the Senate.
[00:15:35] So the only thing that they have is the military.
[00:15:39] And I don't know that everybody keeps talking about the peaceful transfer of power.
[00:15:46] And that, that gets me, you know, it's almost like they passed out talking points and say, you got to say this every time you have a press conference, you got to work this in.
[00:15:57] Yeah.
[00:15:58] Oh yeah.
[00:15:59] Just, just so there isn't one.
[00:16:02] And, and I, you, you can't say just because we started World War Three, we can't transition to a new president.
[00:16:11] You can't say that.
[00:16:14] Because they won elections during the Civil War.
[00:16:18] Well, we good point, right?
[00:16:20] If we had two countries worth of elections, we can and the one.
[00:16:24] Exactly.
[00:16:25] And, you know, World War Two, we were attacked.
[00:16:28] The United States was attacked in Hawaii.
[00:16:32] And we had elections and Roosevelt got elected again.
[00:16:38] Yeah.
[00:16:38] And, you know, had he been voted out, he, he would have transferred.
[00:16:44] So I don't know if Biden is doing this.
[00:16:48] I don't know.
[00:16:49] But it's not a reason not to step down.
[00:16:54] Yeah.
[00:16:55] Yeah.
[00:16:55] It's just so odd.
[00:16:57] I see, and you see here in chat, Hunter, Hunter SF said, did Biden do it or did his handlers do it?
[00:17:04] And I guess, you know, you gotta, you definitely gotta, you gotta put some money into that pot for sure.
[00:17:12] There's a clip of him.
[00:17:14] There's a clip of Biden quiet quitting the presidency today.
[00:17:19] It's in my, it's in my email newsletter.
[00:17:22] If you, if you listeners got it, cause it's bananas.
[00:17:26] It's the video that I played the audio from on the podcast today.
[00:17:31] He's standing in the Amazon.
[00:17:35] And did you see it?
[00:17:36] He's standing in the Amazon and he finishes his speech and he's all olded up.
[00:17:40] Like, you know, he looks the way Biden looks now.
[00:17:42] And he just like looks like side eyes the camera and does this little low wave and walks off into the Amazon.
[00:17:51] No escorts, nothing.
[00:17:52] And it just was like, he quit.
[00:17:55] Like he go almost like he quit in that moment.
[00:17:58] It was weird, really weird, man.
[00:17:59] And he's walking down that trail.
[00:18:01] Yeah.
[00:18:02] Yeah.
[00:18:03] It's like metaphorical to watch.
[00:18:05] Yeah.
[00:18:05] Yeah.
[00:18:06] Like, wow.
[00:18:06] So then this happens, Dave Jones.
[00:18:08] It scares me to death because I value your words.
[00:18:15] All of the sudden, this was 12 27 PM Eastern Monday, November 18th.
[00:18:22] I'm sorry.
[00:18:22] This is when it was updated.
[00:18:24] It was out earlier than this, but I'd been listening to the Biden thing all weekend and I didn't get on the microphone to talk about it.
[00:18:31] I said, whatever, I'll get there Monday.
[00:18:33] Um, and then after I, I was looking stuff up for the show, actually, I think it was after the show.
[00:18:41] Yeah.
[00:18:41] After the show, I ran into this article, which is, is Dave Jones right off the, I mean, this is your whole thing.
[00:18:48] Mystery fault takes undersea internet cable between Germany and Finland out of service.
[00:18:54] Ooh.
[00:18:55] And all I, yeah, yeah, exactly.
[00:18:57] It's in Helensky.
[00:18:58] Right.
[00:18:58] And all I could think about is cutting communications before attack.
[00:19:04] You know what I mean?
[00:19:05] Yeah.
[00:19:06] I was like, Oh God, that's a bad sign.
[00:19:09] You know, it's hard to imagine that happening by accident.
[00:19:13] You think that anybody out there doesn't know who I am?
[00:19:18] I, yeah, definitely.
[00:19:20] It's when, no, it's, that's a very good point, Dave.
[00:19:22] That is a very good point.
[00:19:23] You should definitely tell the folks.
[00:19:25] Cause I'm sure there are some new people on the streaming side who are listening and don't know.
[00:19:31] Okay.
[00:19:31] Lay it down.
[00:19:33] Lay it down.
[00:19:34] So I'm Dave Jones, the NBC guy.
[00:19:37] You can Google me.
[00:19:38] Um, other stuff will come up other places.
[00:19:42] I've been off grid, uh, recall off grid magazine.
[00:19:46] Uh, I was on the blaze.
[00:19:48] Once blaze TV long time ago.
[00:19:50] And then, uh, I'm 24 years active duty army.
[00:19:56] I nuclear biological chemical warfare.
[00:20:00] The pretty much the whole time I was recalled to active duty when six months after 9 11 happened.
[00:20:08] And, uh, I was sent straight to the middle East and I traveled to 16 different countries in 22 months.
[00:20:15] Um, doing security assessments for the army interests abroad.
[00:20:22] And Egypt, uh, you know, Saudi Arabia.
[00:20:26] I was in Baghdad right after Bush declared war or declared victory.
[00:20:31] I mean, he's, he said we won.
[00:20:34] And I guess that was my cue to go in there.
[00:20:39] And, uh, I, I worked for the department of Homeland Security, NASA.
[00:20:44] Uh, uh, air force global strike command, nuclear weapons, accident response team.
[00:20:50] And, uh, now I teach history.
[00:20:54] It's a good job.
[00:20:56] It's a good job for a guy like you.
[00:20:59] Yeah, this is, this is Dave Jones, the NBC guy.
[00:21:02] This is why I always tell you to get the free book.
[00:21:04] This is why I always tell you when nuclear stuff comes up.
[00:21:08] I go to Dave Jones.
[00:21:10] Now you guys understand the reason you want me to read you something cool, Dave?
[00:21:16] Back when Reagan was in the, you know, the cold war, you know, we fought the cold war.
[00:21:22] Yeah.
[00:21:26] So, gosh.
[00:21:27] You want me to read this new missile system?
[00:21:30] What's that?
[00:21:31] So you want me to read you something cool real quick?
[00:21:33] Sure.
[00:21:34] Go ahead.
[00:21:34] Something fun to do is to not just Google your name now, but if you plug your name into chat GPT, it's really impressive.
[00:21:45] What?
[00:21:46] Yeah.
[00:21:47] If you type Dave, who's Dave Jones in the chat GPT?
[00:21:51] It says Dave Jones often referred to as the NBC guy is a prominent figure in the prepper community known for his expertise in nuclear biological chemical defense.
[00:22:00] He has a background that includes military service where he engaged in tasks like performing NBC target analysis during the cold war.
[00:22:07] One of his notable experiences involves active duty in the Middle East following the events of 9-11 contributing to his credibility on NBC threats.
[00:22:16] So this one's a little dated, but he says he hosts a show called Prepping Up with the Joneses on the Prepper Broadcasting Network where he discusses various preparedness strategies, NBC defense, and practical tips.
[00:22:27] Jones's work includes educating people on how to prepare for chemical or biological emergencies.
[00:22:32] He has also been involved in promoting products like skin decontaminants approved by the U.S. military for use against chemical agents.
[00:22:41] That's wild, isn't it?
[00:22:43] That is crazy, man.
[00:22:45] That's true.
[00:22:46] Holy cow.
[00:22:47] If you ask chat GPT who Dave Jones the NBC guy is, that's what they come up with.
[00:22:52] Pretty good.
[00:22:53] Yeah.
[00:22:55] GPT.
[00:22:55] Chat GPT makes me sound better than I really am.
[00:23:00] The chemical agents, the, the, the, what was it called?
[00:23:03] That stuff.
[00:23:03] Yeah.
[00:23:04] RSDL.
[00:23:05] Yeah.
[00:23:06] Reactive skin decontamination loss.
[00:23:08] That was, that surprised me.
[00:23:10] I'm surprised that they had that there in chat GPT.
[00:23:14] Yeah.
[00:23:14] They dug for that and they got Prepping Up with the Joneses.
[00:23:18] I know.
[00:23:19] Isn't that wild, man?
[00:23:20] I'm telling you, they do a good job.
[00:23:22] That little machine God that's going to take over the world.
[00:23:26] It knows who you are.
[00:23:27] Oh my God.
[00:23:28] It's targeting me.
[00:23:29] It'll be coming by your house with a drone or two when the time comes.
[00:23:34] Yeah.
[00:23:35] That's cool though.
[00:23:35] I haven't done it with all the hosts, but I did it.
[00:23:38] I did it myself once to see.
[00:23:40] Oh, I was like scared to see what would come up, you know?
[00:23:43] And it was, it's super nice.
[00:23:46] It always is really nice.
[00:23:48] It always does.
[00:23:49] Does it like, like, I don't know.
[00:23:51] I wonder what, who's Donald Trump.
[00:23:57] Donald Trump is an American businessman, television personality and politician who served as the 45th president of the US.
[00:24:05] It goes through his, it goes through when he was born.
[00:24:11] He has a populist approach, emphasizing, emphasizing themes like America first, immigration reform, nationalism, economic nationalism.
[00:24:21] It doesn't have anything about see chat GPT.
[00:24:24] Oh, I thought chat GPT was only up to 2022.
[00:24:30] It says as of 2024, he remains an influential figure in American politics and running for president again.
[00:24:38] How about that?
[00:24:39] I thought chat GPT was only up to 2022.
[00:24:43] Well, good to know.
[00:24:45] Yeah.
[00:24:45] And not only that, they didn't say he was a white supremacist, the Nazi.
[00:24:50] Yeah, that is strange.
[00:24:51] Where's all the bad stuff?
[00:24:52] Oh, here you go.
[00:24:53] He, during his presidency, Trump implemented tax cuts, appointed three Supreme Court justices and pushed for deregulation.
[00:24:58] He faced two impeachments over a phone call with Ukraine's president.
[00:25:03] Imagine that.
[00:25:04] That's hilarious.
[00:25:05] And second in 2021 for incitement of insurrection related to January 6th Capitol riot.
[00:25:10] He was acquitted both times by Senate.
[00:25:12] Yeah.
[00:25:13] It's not bad.
[00:25:14] Could be much more biased nowadays.
[00:25:17] Yeah.
[00:25:18] I would say overall pretty accurate.
[00:25:21] Yeah.
[00:25:21] I mean, yeah.
[00:25:24] I like what they did on you though.
[00:25:26] They got you.
[00:25:26] They got you pretty good.
[00:25:27] There's some things I would add, but that's good.
[00:25:30] Well, yeah.
[00:25:31] Geez.
[00:25:33] I'll have to remember that.
[00:25:35] So this weapon system that they authorized the use of.
[00:25:39] Yeah.
[00:25:40] Okay.
[00:25:41] Yeah.
[00:25:42] It is.
[00:25:43] It's big time.
[00:25:44] It can strike deep.
[00:25:45] It's supersonic.
[00:25:47] Oh, it's.
[00:25:48] Yeah.
[00:25:49] It's 3,600 pounds.
[00:25:53] Hmm.
[00:25:54] So it carries a big bang.
[00:25:57] Carries a big bang.
[00:25:59] And I guess that's to be moved around by special equipment.
[00:26:02] Yeah.
[00:26:03] Not too many things you've got laying around the house, pick up 3,600 pounds.
[00:26:08] Well, it shows a tracked vehicle with a launcher.
[00:26:13] Oh, okay.
[00:26:14] It looks like there's two missiles per launcher.
[00:26:18] I gotcha.
[00:26:19] So they're on wheels.
[00:26:21] So, yeah, you get, you get two of them, I guess.
[00:26:24] What up, Jay Ferg in chat?
[00:26:27] I wonder how accurate they are.
[00:26:29] If they're like, you know, guided or.
[00:26:33] Oh, absolutely.
[00:26:35] Oh, okay.
[00:26:36] So they.
[00:26:38] It's it's.
[00:26:39] Okay.
[00:26:39] I wonder who's going to get it.
[00:26:41] I mean, that's where we're at.
[00:26:42] Right.
[00:26:42] Right.
[00:26:42] Where we're at now is I wonder who's getting it.
[00:26:45] Because, you know, it's coming.
[00:26:47] Zelensky said it's coming.
[00:26:49] We're not going to tell you when it's coming, but it's coming.
[00:26:52] So, you know, not in those words, but.
[00:26:56] So we're going to wake up one morning and there's going to be massive damage somewhere
[00:27:02] in Russia, probably Moscow, I guess.
[00:27:05] Right.
[00:27:05] Unless they go military target.
[00:27:07] I mean, you could keep the heat off yourself to some degree.
[00:27:10] I've learned this watching Israel and Iran go at it by hitting military targets exclusively.
[00:27:18] But I don't know if Ukraine is going to do that.
[00:27:20] I don't know.
[00:27:21] They might have too much of a chip on the shoulder.
[00:27:23] You know, they've taken a lot of damage.
[00:27:26] Well, one of the.
[00:27:28] Yeah.
[00:27:29] One of the reasons to go into Russia proper was to take enough territory that they'd have
[00:27:36] a bargaining chip to try and get some of the Donbass back.
[00:27:41] Right.
[00:27:41] Yeah.
[00:27:42] Crimean, all that area.
[00:27:45] So this might be.
[00:27:48] Gosh, I don't know.
[00:27:50] What do you think about.
[00:27:51] This might also be a bargaining chip.
[00:27:53] Well, that's a good call.
[00:27:55] Yeah.
[00:27:55] What do you think about Trump's demilitarized zone plan and no Ukraine and NATO for 20 years?
[00:28:03] That's what I've heard about his plan to stop the carnage.
[00:28:08] So I don't remember exactly what like what size it is, but it's a large scale demilitarized zone.
[00:28:20] Did I lose you?
[00:28:22] We may have lost the Jones.
[00:28:25] Oh, there he is.
[00:28:26] He's back.
[00:28:26] Yeah, you lost me.
[00:28:28] We lost you for a moment.
[00:28:30] I was.
[00:28:32] Yeah, I did not hear any of your question.
[00:28:34] Okay.
[00:28:36] I was asking how.
[00:28:38] What do you think about Trump's proposal for the demilitarized zone in Ukraine and the 20
[00:28:46] year or whatever it is?
[00:28:47] I think it's a 20 year promise that Ukraine won't be in NATO.
[00:28:50] I know this is part of his proposal to get, you know, to get Putin and Zelensky to stop killing each other.
[00:28:59] Well, that was part of Russia's reason to go into Ukraine.
[00:29:06] They didn't want him to be a part of NATO.
[00:29:09] We did give them assurances that they wouldn't.
[00:29:15] They wouldn't be a part of NATO.
[00:29:18] Yeah.
[00:29:18] And then and then NATO starts, you know, court and court and all the Eastern Bloc countries, you know, Romania is now part of NATO.
[00:29:27] And it's just.
[00:29:30] We pulled Finland in right?
[00:29:32] I think.
[00:29:33] Yeah, I think it's full full, you know, definitely on the table.
[00:29:39] And if if that's the thing that gets the people from killing each other, why not?
[00:29:47] It doesn't seem like even if they got all their land back that they'd have a big flow of people to come populated again.
[00:29:55] Right.
[00:29:55] Like my my understanding is a lot of people are gone and never coming back.
[00:30:00] A lot of people are dead.
[00:30:01] Yeah.
[00:30:02] And, you know, who the hell is going to live near the demilitarized zone after what happened?
[00:30:08] It's not like you're going to want to see the Russian border from your front door after what happened.
[00:30:14] Well, exactly.
[00:30:16] And the same way with North and South Korea, you know, the area of the demilitarized zone is, you know, desolate.
[00:30:25] It's no one.
[00:30:29] No one is up there.
[00:30:30] I mean, it's everything that happens in South Korea happens way south and no one.
[00:30:38] No one stays there.
[00:30:40] Yeah.
[00:30:41] Even them though, you know, they blew up some kind of road there the other day.
[00:30:45] North Koreans getting all pissy.
[00:30:48] Yeah.
[00:30:50] Well, you know, they get these troops back that are coming.
[00:30:55] They were combat trained and, you know, they saw real combat in Ukraine and they get them back over there.
[00:31:03] That's the truth.
[00:31:03] North Korea.
[00:31:04] Yeah.
[00:31:05] You feel pretty frosty all of a sudden.
[00:31:07] Right.
[00:31:07] They're like, oh, let's do something.
[00:31:09] And the sharing of weapons and technology and training.
[00:31:14] You know, they're getting trained up on Russian weapons.
[00:31:18] Yeah, that's true.
[00:31:19] And Russia has been.
[00:31:22] They got their production of weapons up years ago when they were coming into this fight.
[00:31:28] They put the old crap up front.
[00:31:31] You know, it got blew up and now they're back filling with new or better stuff.
[00:31:36] And their war production is going.
[00:31:41] Ours is stagnant.
[00:31:43] Oof.
[00:31:45] Yeah.
[00:31:45] So.
[00:31:48] Yeah.
[00:31:48] And we're sending it all over there, right?
[00:31:51] Exactly.
[00:31:52] Well, what we're sending over there is our reserves.
[00:31:55] The stuff that we kept on hand in case we needed to fight.
[00:31:59] Now we have none of that.
[00:32:01] Yeah.
[00:32:02] That's terrifying.
[00:32:03] Yeah.
[00:32:04] And the shells, they say, are taking all kinds of time to produce shit that I read an article
[00:32:10] about the shells like a year ago and it was just crazy how long it takes to produce these.
[00:32:15] I want to say it might've been the howitzers.
[00:32:17] I don't know.
[00:32:18] One of those shells takes a long time to get produced and up to par and up to speed.
[00:32:24] You know, if you're like a new, a new manufacturer or something like that.
[00:32:29] Yeah.
[00:32:29] Well, they have to, you know, they have to be milled.
[00:32:32] They can't be cast.
[00:32:35] So they're milled from metal.
[00:32:38] So they have to be precise so that they spin without wobbling.
[00:32:43] Oh, okay.
[00:32:44] Yeah.
[00:32:44] That makes sense.
[00:32:46] So it ain't just cranking out some, you know, cartridge.
[00:32:50] Metal.
[00:32:51] Yeah.
[00:32:52] Nothing metal stamped with a press.
[00:32:54] No, it's none of that.
[00:32:56] Yeah.
[00:32:56] You get in there with a precision lathe and you cut that metal down and it's measured with
[00:33:03] a micrometer and weighed and.
[00:33:06] Wow.
[00:33:07] Yeah.
[00:33:08] Well, that makes sense.
[00:33:09] Yeah.
[00:33:10] That makes perfect sense.
[00:33:12] And when you're at peace.
[00:33:14] Yeah.
[00:33:15] You know, at peacetime, you only need maybe one, two manufacturers to produce what you need,
[00:33:22] you know, for these shells.
[00:33:24] That's it.
[00:33:24] Yeah.
[00:33:25] Yeah.
[00:33:25] Because all you're doing is producing them for training.
[00:33:28] Right.
[00:33:29] When you're at war, you need multiple manufacturers just in case something breaks.
[00:33:36] You need everything.
[00:33:37] Yeah.
[00:33:37] All hands on deck.
[00:33:39] Yeah.
[00:33:40] In case one of those manufacturers gets bombed out of existence.
[00:33:44] Right.
[00:33:45] Yeah.
[00:33:46] Yeah.
[00:33:46] So yeah, Russia's Russia's in that mode.
[00:33:50] We haven't even started on that.
[00:33:53] I mean, when you think about it, they started their draft two years ago.
[00:33:57] Yeah, that's a good point.
[00:33:59] Yeah.
[00:33:59] They started yanking guys off the streets two years ago out of the jails.
[00:34:04] Yeah.
[00:34:04] So they're already, you know, they've been through that.
[00:34:08] Like if we started the draft today, it would take at least six months to get it up and running
[00:34:17] right to where we have a steady stream of people.
[00:34:22] I mean, it's.
[00:34:23] If you could do it.
[00:34:25] If you could even do it in America.
[00:34:28] You'll do it.
[00:34:29] It will add to the population of Canada.
[00:34:32] Yeah, definitely.
[00:34:33] And we're already streaming the liberals up there.
[00:34:36] They're already on their way.
[00:34:38] Well, if everybody goes to promise to go.
[00:34:43] Well, if we could be so lucky, right?
[00:34:46] Yeah.
[00:34:47] If only we could be so lucky.
[00:34:49] So what do you think in terms of the next four years?
[00:34:54] Because we've got a lot of stuff happening all over the world.
[00:34:59] I'm sure that Donald Trump is going to get in there and economically attack all of these people.
[00:35:07] If I had to guess.
[00:35:08] You know, I'm sure we know China is going to be under economic pressure, so that could thwart their focus on Taiwan.
[00:35:17] You know, he's going to go for the throat economically with Iran.
[00:35:22] And I don't know what we could do with Russia.
[00:35:24] I mean, I feel like we're sanctioning the hell out of them already.
[00:35:27] But do you think.
[00:35:29] Go ahead.
[00:35:30] He can do things for both sides.
[00:35:34] He can do things that affects Russia and Ukraine.
[00:35:41] So he can say, look, we were.
[00:35:53] We had another epic timing, Dave Jones.
[00:35:58] We might have we might have timed out on Dave.
[00:36:02] Me all.
[00:36:04] Yeah.
[00:36:05] It was an it was another one of those epic cutoffs.
[00:36:09] Where you were like, what he could say is.
[00:36:14] You know, back there, because I think you were on to something awesome.
[00:36:19] And Chrome.
[00:36:21] Oh, you think that's what it is?
[00:36:23] I don't know.
[00:36:24] I think Google wants to listen to us.
[00:36:27] Oh, could be.
[00:36:29] So what do you think Trump would what do you think Trump would say or could say in terms of sanctions on both?
[00:36:36] Yeah, he could he could affect both sides.
[00:36:40] He can give both sides a deal.
[00:36:43] You know, yeah, the United States is positioned to where.
[00:36:47] Both sides can get something that they want.
[00:36:51] You know, he could say, look, I'll produce this much oil, which will drop your income by X or.
[00:37:00] I can turn the spigot all the way on and you ain't getting crap.
[00:37:06] Yeah.
[00:37:07] You know, all of a sudden.
[00:37:08] And then he's buying from us.
[00:37:09] Yeah.
[00:37:10] I mean, he can offer both sides.
[00:37:13] Look, you won't be in NATO, but we're going to protect you and we'll man the demilitarized zone, you know, with with a coalition of, you know, forces to make sure that you know what I mean?
[00:37:28] Yeah.
[00:37:29] And then the just just the everything with China, China needs us to be customers.
[00:37:36] And if he brings back the manufacturing base to the United States and puts tariffs on anything coming from China, that's going to cripple them terribly.
[00:37:49] Oh, yeah.
[00:37:50] They're in big trouble.
[00:37:51] Yeah.
[00:37:51] The last time he put the tariffs on, the Chinese government actually ended up paying the tariffs so that the consumer wouldn't feel it.
[00:38:05] Oh, OK.
[00:38:07] Yeah.
[00:38:08] And they've got a bunch of stimulus right now over there.
[00:38:11] Every time I hear economic news, there's stimulus, stimulus, stimulus.
[00:38:15] So, yeah, they got enough to deal with.
[00:38:18] I'm not I'm not all in on this idea that they're ready to go to war, particularly with us, maybe not even Taiwan, you know, because I don't understand.
[00:38:31] You take over an island of people who hate you.
[00:38:35] That's a lot of work.
[00:38:37] You've got to deal with them now.
[00:38:39] You know, you've got to commit forces.
[00:38:41] Well, you would know you've got to commit forces.
[00:38:43] You've got to, you know, probably quell all kinds of flare ups of rebellion.
[00:38:50] And yeah.
[00:38:51] And, you know, and you know, the rebels are not going to be doing it alone.
[00:38:55] You know, they're good.
[00:38:56] Yeah.
[00:38:56] They're going to be getting stuff in shipping containers from the United States.
[00:39:01] It seems like a lot for Taiwan.
[00:39:04] I don't know.
[00:39:04] I mean, I guess the chip industry makes sense to them, something like that, having control of the chips.
[00:39:10] But.
[00:39:11] You know, all that takes is a is a ballsy bunch of rebels to blow that whole chip manufacturer up, you know, or start blowing manufacturers up in Taiwan.
[00:39:22] Yeah.
[00:39:23] And then China is just sitting there going, okay, well, that was a waste.
[00:39:26] Well, recently, the the Taiwan government denied China their most advanced chips.
[00:39:36] So.
[00:39:36] Oh, that's right.
[00:39:37] The AI, the AI necessary chips.
[00:39:40] Right.
[00:39:40] Yeah.
[00:39:41] Yeah.
[00:39:41] So that's big news.
[00:39:43] So if China's cut off.
[00:39:45] Okay.
[00:39:46] And they're not getting anything.
[00:39:48] Oh, what's what's wrong with destroying everybody else's ability to get something?
[00:39:54] You know, when you when you bring that up, that is reason to go to Taiwan and fight, because you can't fall behind on a I.
[00:40:01] Yeah, there's no country can afford to fall behind on a I.
[00:40:06] I don't even know what it's going to be, but I know it's going to be militarized.
[00:40:10] And I know the countries that have it are going to be.
[00:40:15] Unbelievable.
[00:40:16] Yeah.
[00:40:17] I mean, the countries that have it are probably going to be able to say.
[00:40:21] You can launch these missiles on Monday.
[00:40:26] Because I know where their forces are going to be Monday night already before they know, you know what I mean?
[00:40:33] Yeah.
[00:40:34] Like, well, it's going to be like that just for probability calculations and all that kind of stuff.
[00:40:41] Yeah.
[00:40:41] Yeah, I'm sure.
[00:40:42] I'm sure.
[00:40:43] They'll know what the enemy is going to do before the enemy does it.
[00:40:46] Maybe before the enemy knows it's going to do it.
[00:40:48] That's probably what AI is going to be able to do.
[00:40:51] That's a wild guess.
[00:40:52] You can put AI to figure out things that you haven't even thought of yet.
[00:40:57] Exactly.
[00:40:58] Right.
[00:40:58] You know, and since we're talking about probable attacks.
[00:41:03] Sure.
[00:41:03] There's a reason why Japan attacked Pearl Harbor Sunday morning at 8 a.m.
[00:41:12] Church.
[00:41:13] Yeah.
[00:41:14] Yeah.
[00:41:15] Okay.
[00:41:16] First of all, everybody that can afford to be downtown was downtown.
[00:41:22] Ah.
[00:41:22] They had very little defense.
[00:41:26] We weren't awake.
[00:41:28] Everybody was, you know, it's Sunday, just like the upcoming Thanksgiving.
[00:41:35] Do you know, do you know more people travel on Thanksgiving than they do Christmas?
[00:41:40] Yeah.
[00:41:41] Yeah.
[00:41:41] That's always a weird one, isn't it?
[00:41:43] Yeah.
[00:41:44] So I'm just saying if I was going to attack and I wanted to get, you know, the maximum surprise.
[00:41:54] Yeah.
[00:41:55] I would probably do it on a uniquely American holiday where everybody's off or at least, you know, if they're not off, there's a lot less people there than normal.
[00:42:10] Yeah.
[00:42:10] Do it.
[00:42:10] Do a George Washington Revolutionary War style.
[00:42:14] Yep.
[00:42:15] Right.
[00:42:15] Get them when they're all toasted and roasted.
[00:42:19] Yeah.
[00:42:20] Yeah.
[00:42:21] Yeah.
[00:42:21] I don't know though.
[00:42:21] Thanksgiving.
[00:42:22] I don't know.
[00:42:23] Thanksgiving is one of those holidays where it does feel a little, I mean, you do it late, I guess, after everybody's eaten.
[00:42:33] Yeah.
[00:42:34] There's always a, yeah, there's always a little fire in the air.
[00:42:37] You trip the fire.
[00:42:38] There's always a little Indians pilgrim verse pilgrims in the air in my house for Thanksgiving, I feel like.
[00:42:44] I don't know though.
[00:42:45] Yeah.
[00:42:46] I could, you know, the forces that are in this country now anymore, Dave Jones, I have no clue.
[00:42:52] You know, you could tell me anything.
[00:42:54] You could tell me there's a company of Chinese soldiers in downtown Richmond and I believe
[00:43:01] and I'd be like, yeah, they, they've been here since Biden got in.
[00:43:04] We saw them come in with their backpacks.
[00:43:08] It often, I wonder all the time why they flew those specific people from Central America into certain cities around the country.
[00:43:20] And bypassed the border and entry altogether.
[00:43:24] Why is that?
[00:43:25] Yeah.
[00:43:25] Who are they?
[00:43:26] And, and what was the reason?
[00:43:29] What made this a good idea?
[00:43:31] Yeah.
[00:43:32] Exactly.
[00:43:33] Well, nature abhors a vacuum and Joe Biden's presidency has just created one big vacuum where we could just go insane thinking about what's possibly has happened and why it's happened.
[00:43:48] Because he doesn't come out and explain it.
[00:43:49] Yeah.
[00:43:50] Have you had somebody come out and say, well, they had family in New York and this one had family and then we'd still be suspect, but at least we would say, well, maybe, you know?
[00:43:59] Yeah.
[00:44:00] Instead of just, you know, we got our orders from G and we flew him where he said to fly.
[00:44:07] Yeah.
[00:44:08] Yeah.
[00:44:09] Joey got his paycheck and sent him where they're supposed to go.
[00:44:12] Yeah.
[00:44:13] That's the deal.
[00:44:14] For the Thanksgiving Day attack.
[00:44:16] The Thanksgiving Day parade.
[00:44:18] Yeah.
[00:44:19] Yeah.
[00:44:20] Yeah.
[00:44:21] Oh, man.
[00:44:22] Oh, hey, speaking of attack, I got my second ammo squared shipment.
[00:44:28] Oh, nice, man.
[00:44:30] Yeah.
[00:44:30] Best control is here.
[00:44:32] Now I have to tell you, I won second place in the ammo lottery.
[00:44:37] Yeah, I heard this.
[00:44:38] I heard this.
[00:44:39] Yeah.
[00:44:39] I'll let Maria know.
[00:44:40] I'm very proud of you.
[00:44:41] Next time I see her.
[00:44:43] She, I got that second box and she says, we're playing the lottery.
[00:44:48] We, you're so lucky.
[00:44:50] How did you win?
[00:44:52] I'm telling you, man, that's a nice feeling.
[00:44:55] I had to say, I had to say, Oh yeah.
[00:44:58] Yeah.
[00:44:58] But I had to say, since this was, you know, not the normal size shipment.
[00:45:03] I said, well, I won second place.
[00:45:05] This last time I won first place.
[00:45:08] And yeah, that's a nice feeling.
[00:45:11] Yeah.
[00:45:11] I gave my son a 500, a box of 522s for his rifle.
[00:45:17] Nice.
[00:45:18] That was cool.
[00:45:19] Yeah.
[00:45:19] That was a cool thing.
[00:45:20] We put them in the backpack and went out squirrel hunting with them.
[00:45:23] But yeah, that's a nice feeling, man.
[00:45:25] You get that back, that big old box of ammunition and you're like, okay, this is the way to do
[00:45:30] it.
[00:45:30] Ammo squared is the way to do it.
[00:45:32] I mean, just, Oh yeah.
[00:45:33] Yeah.
[00:45:34] It's the way, unless you're super ammo nerdy and like, you really like to go out and shop
[00:45:38] ammunition.
[00:45:40] They just, it's the set it and forget it system.
[00:45:43] It's too good.
[00:45:44] Yeah.
[00:45:45] I think a promo code is still available to use the promo code PBN and ammo squared and
[00:45:49] you'll get 75 rounds of nine millimeter free on your, you know, on your first order.
[00:45:55] So get them.
[00:45:57] It's, it's, it's great.
[00:45:59] Uh, it's a service.
[00:46:00] They provide a service that is, uh, you know, it just takes one thing off your mind.
[00:46:07] That's it.
[00:46:08] You don't have to.
[00:46:08] Yeah.
[00:46:09] You set the trigger and when it reaches that trigger, it ships and free shipping.
[00:46:16] It comes right to your door.
[00:46:18] UPS.
[00:46:19] It's fantastic.
[00:46:21] And you can do any dollar amount you want.
[00:46:23] That's what's beautiful about you can do 10 bucks.
[00:46:25] If all you got is 10 bucks a month, you can just pile 10 bucks into the old ammo squared
[00:46:31] account and not even look at it for a year.
[00:46:34] And then by the time a year rolls around, you'll have a bunch of ammo.
[00:46:37] Yeah.
[00:46:37] It's, it's awesome.
[00:46:39] And the companies that we have uncovered over the years are like, it's just awesome.
[00:46:49] Yeah.
[00:46:49] That Christmas catalog is going to be amazing.
[00:46:52] Oh yeah.
[00:46:53] Every year that thing.
[00:46:54] So you got to put ammo squared in there.
[00:46:56] I'll put them in there.
[00:46:57] I got an, I got some awesome stuff.
[00:46:58] Who else do I have in there?
[00:47:01] Oh, give a little preview.
[00:47:03] I got prep prepper beef is going to be in there this year.
[00:47:07] We interviewed the owner of prepper beef a ways back with what he started doing, which
[00:47:12] is really cool is he started freeze drying steak.
[00:47:19] Um, so he says, sells packs of freeze dried filet mignon packs of freeze dried ribeye packs
[00:47:25] of free and it's diced.
[00:47:26] It's it's cooked and freeze dried.
[00:47:28] So it's ready to go, you know, rehydrate and eat.
[00:47:32] And, uh, he's a good guy too.
[00:47:34] Jason over there, prepper beef's a good guy.
[00:47:36] We've got a new company.
[00:47:37] Nobody's ever heard of that.
[00:47:40] I'm really pressuring to become a sponsor.
[00:47:44] They are sweet.
[00:47:46] Um, they're called fail state.
[00:47:48] And what bail state is, is a, is a, it's the, it's the cleanest training I've ever seen
[00:47:56] for online training.
[00:47:58] And they're going to have an ad in there this year.
[00:48:00] You can check them out.
[00:48:02] Fail state does.
[00:48:04] I don't know.
[00:48:05] I, the thing I don't know with fail state is who outside of our people is going to get
[00:48:13] into it, but it's so clean.
[00:48:15] The, the logo is clean.
[00:48:17] The website is so clean.
[00:48:19] It's so awesome.
[00:48:20] The guys who do the training are all military.
[00:48:22] I mean, it's, it's awesome.
[00:48:24] They did a really great job.
[00:48:26] You'll get to know them.
[00:48:28] Um, I don't, I got a bunch of people, man.
[00:48:31] All of our, of course, all of our people will be in there.
[00:48:33] Faraday containers.
[00:48:35] You'll get to see pictures of those things.
[00:48:37] Those incredible Faraday proof containers, shipping containers, uh, pack fresh USA is
[00:48:43] going to have a bunch of black Friday deals.
[00:48:45] So if you've got food storage aspirations, food storage to do pack fresh USA is going
[00:48:51] to have their stuff in there.
[00:48:52] I think I'm going to have Mira in there again.
[00:48:54] We'll do the me.
[00:48:54] We had a lot of good deals from Mira last year.
[00:48:57] Mira safety.
[00:48:58] If you want to get your nuclear pad, it all up, get your gas mask, get your filters, all
[00:49:03] that kind of stuff.
[00:49:05] Um, yeah, it's good.
[00:49:08] Awesome.
[00:49:08] Tons of great, great things in there.
[00:49:11] It's, it's, I was telling you, Dave Jones, before we got started, the, the black Friday
[00:49:18] catalog just was something that I wanted to make because it was something that I wanted.
[00:49:24] Like I remembered hanging onto the old Sears catalog as a kid and just loving it.
[00:49:29] And I said, man, how come adults don't have something cool like this?
[00:49:32] How come preppers don't have something cool like this to leaf through?
[00:49:36] And, uh, unfortunately there's no, you know, we're not doing mail, so it's digital only,
[00:49:41] but it's packed.
[00:49:42] It's packed with all the good stuff.
[00:49:43] I teased the, uh, Dave, you probably didn't see it, but I teased the new cover this year,
[00:49:50] this year's cover out to the members.
[00:49:53] The members got a heads up.
[00:49:55] Look at the cover.
[00:49:55] The cover is pretty fun.
[00:49:57] It's pretty fun.
[00:49:58] Last year's was really good.
[00:49:59] This one's pretty good too.
[00:50:01] So the black Friday catalog, when are we going to release this thing?
[00:50:05] Let's say, let's make one of those.
[00:50:08] I have this habit, man.
[00:50:10] I make these like really important business decisions on air live.
[00:50:15] We'll say Tuesday, the 26th for release on the black Friday catalog.
[00:50:20] Yeah.
[00:50:20] That gives me one extra work day before or at one extra work day.
[00:50:26] So that if I don't get it all done the weekend before I can sure it up that Monday,
[00:50:30] we put it out that Tuesday and there will be like black Friday exclusive deals.
[00:50:36] Oh, the other thing that there will be in this one.
[00:50:39] And this is not for all of you out there listening, but for those of you who are fans of my, uh, writing.
[00:50:48] I'm going to pre I'm going to add a link to pre what is it?
[00:50:53] What was the word?
[00:50:54] Pre buy.
[00:50:55] What am I saying?
[00:50:56] Pre sale pre order.
[00:50:58] There it is.
[00:50:58] Hello.
[00:50:59] It's been a long day.
[00:51:00] Um, you get a chance to order my new Christmas book, pre order my new Christmas book.
[00:51:05] Let, let your heart be light.
[00:51:07] That will be in there also.
[00:51:08] That'll probably be like outside of an email.
[00:51:11] One of the only places I do the pre order.
[00:51:14] Um, cause I don't do a lot of pre order stuff, but if you're looking for a fireplace morning by the fireplace with coffee, read, let your heart be light is.
[00:51:27] It's a good one.
[00:51:28] It's a good one.
[00:51:29] It needs to get in the hands who needs to read.
[00:51:32] Let your heart be light.
[00:51:32] Dave Jones is the youth, the young, like the 20 somethings, because it's all about kind of love and marriage and the holidays and, and family in general, but a lot about relationship stuff, a lot about love and marriage and grown up kids and you know, all that kind of stuff.
[00:51:51] It's good.
[00:51:52] It's good read, but, uh, yeah, man, it's going to be awesome.
[00:51:55] It's going to be awesome.
[00:51:56] It's going to be an awesome year as usual.
[00:51:58] Yeah.
[00:51:59] Can't wait.
[00:52:00] It's all we do around here.
[00:52:02] I was telling me today.
[00:52:03] Go ahead.
[00:52:04] We got, we got to stop meeting like this.
[00:52:06] I think I've done the last three prepper lives, three or four.
[00:52:11] Like that.
[00:52:12] Well, you know, here's the truth.
[00:52:13] Dave Jones.
[00:52:14] Uh, they love you.
[00:52:16] Well, the listenership loves you.
[00:52:19] And, and it's, it's not only, this is how much they love Dave Jones, the NBC guy.
[00:52:24] It's in the statistics.
[00:52:27] So like, I have, so yeah, I've not seen that.
[00:52:31] I have not seen Dave Jones is on.
[00:52:34] When Dave Jones is off, it gets a little inconsistent.
[00:52:38] If you're on consistently doing daily audio caches, we're higher than, than normal.
[00:52:43] There's a Dave stats.
[00:52:44] And then there's a no Dave stats.
[00:52:46] And it's a different thing.
[00:52:47] Really?
[00:52:48] Oh yeah.
[00:52:48] I never knew that.
[00:52:49] You go back and look at, uh, bring up the stats for the month you did.
[00:52:54] What was it?
[00:52:55] September when you did all the prepper tips.
[00:52:57] Yeah.
[00:52:58] It's a whole different month compared to October or November.
[00:53:02] Wow.
[00:53:03] Yeah.
[00:53:03] It's you, you make a big difference.
[00:53:04] They love hearing from you, man.
[00:53:06] So that was fun.
[00:53:07] That was fun to do.
[00:53:09] I like that.
[00:53:09] You know, it was bang, bang, bang.
[00:53:12] You know, I tried to keep it at like two minutes, including the intro.
[00:53:16] Yeah.
[00:53:17] Yeah.
[00:53:18] You know, I, to be honest with you, I think we should have one, not from you.
[00:53:23] Cause that's a too much of an ask, but I think we should have one every day.
[00:53:28] Just like that.
[00:53:29] I think we could pull that at least every weekday, if not every day of the year that
[00:53:34] we do, do, you know, every, every day that we have a show because it was like five minutes
[00:53:40] and there was awesome.
[00:53:40] You know, and I know there's three, I know there's 400 prepper tips we could compile.
[00:53:46] Oh yeah.
[00:53:47] And that may be something that I gather the host together for in 2025 and commit to a,
[00:53:53] a prepper tip of the day for every day.
[00:53:56] Plus it'd be really cool.
[00:53:59] 365 prepper tips.
[00:54:00] Oh man.
[00:54:01] That'd be amazing.
[00:54:02] Right.
[00:54:03] And not, not, not just from me, you know, to have a bunch of people do it.
[00:54:07] Yeah.
[00:54:08] Cause I figure if we did it that way, you could get two.
[00:54:14] If, if I got two per month out of every host, that'd be 30.
[00:54:20] So that's it.
[00:54:21] It just be two prepper tips a month out of each host.
[00:54:24] And then we'd have, we'd have enough for the month.
[00:54:27] So it's definitely easy.
[00:54:29] That's too easy.
[00:54:30] Yeah.
[00:54:31] I mean, I did those 30 and sometimes I'd be on a roll and I do like five of them, five
[00:54:38] of them in a row.
[00:54:39] And I got a head like a week cause I knew I was going to prepper camp.
[00:54:43] And.
[00:54:44] I can hear it in your voice.
[00:54:46] When you were on fire.
[00:54:47] I was like, he, yeah, he could do, he could do 20 of these today.
[00:54:52] He could do half the month today.
[00:54:55] Well, you did almost do like a, you did a chunk of the month one day.
[00:54:58] I know you did.
[00:54:58] Cause I watched him going to speaker.
[00:55:00] Yeah.
[00:55:00] And then one time I forgot to click the forward date.
[00:55:04] So I.
[00:55:05] Oh yeah.
[00:55:06] You published a bunch.
[00:55:07] Yeah.
[00:55:08] They like four or five of them posted the same day.
[00:55:11] And I'm like.
[00:55:14] Yeah.
[00:55:14] That was fun.
[00:55:16] Oh, it's good.
[00:55:16] Performance oriented training.
[00:55:18] No, that, that was the one that I don't think I gave.
[00:55:21] I did it justice.
[00:55:23] Pot.
[00:55:25] Oh, that's right.
[00:55:26] Yeah.
[00:55:26] I saw that.
[00:55:27] I thought you, I, I listened to it.
[00:55:29] And when I first went into it, I thought you were going to talk about growing marijuana.
[00:55:33] And you know how you can use it for barter or something along.
[00:55:36] Yeah.
[00:55:37] When I never know it did Jones homestead, right?
[00:55:41] We always have a good time and we always eat well.
[00:55:44] So.
[00:55:44] Yeah.
[00:55:45] Wouldn't be the.
[00:55:46] Performance oriented training where you have to identify small things that you can do to
[00:55:53] train up your people quickly.
[00:55:56] So these are small individual hands on tasks like shoot an azimuth, you know, and I was
[00:56:03] thinking of this.
[00:56:04] I don't know why I was thinking of this last night.
[00:56:07] Salute.
[00:56:07] Salute report is an enemy activity report.
[00:56:13] So if you observe someone and let's face it, anybody outside your group is the enemy.
[00:56:20] Okay.
[00:56:21] So salute is size activity unit time location.
[00:56:29] Late Luke.
[00:56:30] Yeah.
[00:56:30] Salute.
[00:56:32] And yeah, I spelled it wrong, but it's, it's those, you know, that's the acronym.
[00:56:38] And, and I was thinking.
[00:56:40] And people on your perimeter and people in your group need to be able to relay that information,
[00:56:48] who they are, what kind of equipment they had, what they were doing, if they were lost,
[00:56:56] or if they were looking for something, if they had weapons, you know, and where were they?
[00:57:03] You know, how many people in your group actually know which way north is?
[00:57:08] Yeah.
[00:57:09] Well, yeah, that's a good one.
[00:57:12] You know, if you went to your, if you went to your location and you had all your people there and you said, which way is north?
[00:57:20] Could they point to north?
[00:57:24] Some in my group, some no.
[00:57:27] Yeah.
[00:57:27] So if, if you say they were over there, but did you get an osmuth?
[00:57:34] Did you, do you, what direction is over there?
[00:57:37] And, you know, can just little things like that.
[00:57:41] And I don't know why I was thinking that last night.
[00:57:43] Well, it's perfect.
[00:57:44] It's perfect.
[00:57:45] That modality of training is exactly what every one of us would be faced with.
[00:57:50] If we had to grow a group or build a group or add to a current group or start a group from scratch in a situation like that.
[00:57:59] You know what I mean?
[00:58:00] That'd be exactly what we could be, you'd be tasked with.
[00:58:04] Yeah.
[00:58:04] You have to break down tasks, small individual hands-on tasks that they could perform really quickly.
[00:58:12] And you'd get a go, no go at this station and whatever, whatever you were doing.
[00:58:18] And yes, you can do it.
[00:58:19] No, you can't.
[00:58:21] Yeah.
[00:58:23] Dave Jones, you, you got so much in you.
[00:58:26] It's crazy.
[00:58:27] Oh.
[00:58:29] Like where, something like that salute report.
[00:58:32] I just wrote it down.
[00:58:33] I just wrote it down for Red Beacon Media because I had a great idea about how we could use it.
[00:58:38] And I was like, wow, that thing.
[00:58:41] That's just one of those things that's just sitting there in the, in the embers of Dave Jones soul, just waiting to come out.
[00:58:49] I never heard of it before.
[00:58:50] I don't know nothing about it until you said it's awesome.
[00:58:53] I mean, I've heard of similar things.
[00:58:55] Yeah.
[00:58:55] So it's size, activity, location, unit time and equipment.
[00:59:05] Oh, unit time equipment.
[00:59:06] Okay.
[00:59:07] Yeah.
[00:59:07] There you go.
[00:59:07] So that's what it is.
[00:59:08] I had to write it down myself to get it all.
[00:59:12] So it's, you know, it's basically, that is the, the information that someone needs to decide whether or not this is a threat or, or what, what the activity is going on in your area.
[00:59:26] And, you know, you would not be there.
[00:59:29] Your outpost wouldn't be seen.
[00:59:31] They just observe it.
[00:59:33] And if you were going on a recon, if you were going somewhere to look at something, this is the information you'd need to bring back.
[00:59:43] Yeah, I like it.
[00:59:45] I like that.
[00:59:46] I mean, I don't want to get into like Stassi, but there's definitely some, you know, uses for that nowadays.
[00:59:56] And it could, it really could come into play if things started to get crazy post Trump, but inauguration.
[01:00:02] Oh, they lost you.
[01:00:04] No biggie.
[01:00:06] Let's call it a night.
[01:00:07] Let's call it a night because I owe my dogs a walk and.
[01:00:12] Okay, man.
[01:00:13] Things got to keep on moving.
[01:00:15] But you were great, Dave Jones, as usual.
[01:00:18] Even Chad GPT thinks so.
[01:00:21] Thanks.
